Huh, no, everything's happening, just not happening here. Interesting thing, couple of, Events, one I was looking at was this plane crash up in the Lansing, Michigan area. Really didn't originate out of Lansing, Michigan. The flight originated out of Battle Creek. I was just looking at some of the records on that. And it was a Mexican flight, a Mexican privately owned aircraft that had been offline for about six months. And interestingly enough, gone up for what was probably an operational service flight. and they didn't. They got up and by the way with aircrafts you've always come down. Don't forget that. Here we go, I think we've got guns and gas. This morning I want to tell you about the NRA pushing the Supreme Court to hear a direct challenge to the NFA and it's phenomenal. The NRA's Institute for Legislative Action, which is the NRA ILA, has just filed its reply brief urging the U.S. Supreme Court to take up Rush v. U.S., a direct challenge to the NFA's restrictions on short-barreled rifles and standard capacity magazines. this case could finally force the High Court to decide whether Washington has the power to tax, register, and criminalize ownership of common firearms that ordinary Americans have a constitutional right to keep and bear. Let's break it all down, see what the NRA says, and most importantly, what the self-proclaimed, most-to-a-friendly DOJ ever said in their response brief. It's eye-opening. I also want to tell you what this case is about, how the NRA just called out the 7th Circuit for defining Heller and Bruin, and why this could be the start of the end of the NFA's unconstitutional overreach. The case I've covered before when it was filed, it's Jomann Rush versus United States. And the NRA's legal team here is led by Cooper and Kirk and the NRA ILA's Joseph Greenlee. And they're backing Rush in challenging the National Firearms Act's registration and taxation requirements for short barrel rifles and magazines. Now, well, magazines aren't registered, but you know what I mean. Now, the lower court, the 7th Circuit, basically said that the Second Amendment doesn't even apply to short-barreled rifles. That's right, they said that these rifles are not arms protected by the Constitution. And that's not just wrong, it's a full-blown defiance of what the Supreme Court has already made crystal clear. Little nippy out here. The NRA-ILA states, in their reply brief. Well, they started out by directly quoting DC versus Heller saying, the Second Amendment's plain text extends prima facie to all instruments that constitute bearable arms. They then point to the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association versus ruin decision, which reaffirmed the same thing, that the right to keep and bear arms covers all bearable arms. Key Key words there, words mean something. Yet somehow the 7th Circuit decided that SBRs aren't even covered by the text of the Second Amendment. Now the NRA calls that what it is, a dangerously wrong turn, a dangerously wrong turn that ignores the Supreme Court's binding precedent. Now the self-proclaimed, most 2A friendly Department of Justice ever tried to argue that the NFA's restrictions are part of our historical tradition of firearm regulation. Yeah, they got our back. But the NRA fired back hard saying that the government's examples are laughable. Now the government's central argument here in Rush versus United States is that the NFA's registration and taxation requirements for short-barreled rifles do not violate the Second Amendment. The Department of Justice maintains that a facial challenge claiming the law is unconstitutional in all situations must fail because the NFA clearly has valid applications such as preventing criminals from possessing unregistered weapons. It's never worked, they do it anyway. The brief also notes that the law does not ban short barreled rifles outright. It merely regulates them through registration and taxation, which means that a legitimate exercise of Congress has taken place. Now the DOJ further argues that the Supreme Court's precedent in U.S. v. Miller, way back in 1939, already forecloses Russia's claim. In Miller, the court upheld the NFA's restrictions on SBR's finding that they were not the sort of weapons in common use for lawful purposes protected by the Second Amendment. The government says that SBRs are essentially the same type of dangerous and unusual weapon, and that Heller, back in 2008, reaffirmed Miller's reasoning. Additionally, the DOJ asserts that the NFA is consistent with America's historical tradition of regulating concealable or particularly dangerous arms through taxes or registration, comparing the NFA to 19th century taxes on weapons like buoy knives and pocket pistols. Finally, the government in their reply brief points out that every federal court of appeals to consider this issue so far has upheld the NFA and that no circuit has found it unconstitutional. It argues that Russia's case raises no new legal questions and presents no circuit split for the Supreme Court to resolve. They don't need a circuit split. Even Harmeet Dillon said they needed one. They don't. Therefore, the Solicitor General here urges the court to deny certiorari concluding that the NFA's modest registration scheme fits comfortably within the constitutional limits and long-standing historical practice. Bullshit. They relied on a handful of laws written decades after the Second Amendment was ratified and most of them came from slave-holding southern states that were restricting weapons for reasons that had nothing to do with constitutional tradition. They were racist. All gun control is racist. They weren't analogs. They weren't widespread. And they sure weren't part of the founding era's understanding of the right to keep and bear arms. Now the brief even points out, the NRA's brief, that is, that those few weapon bans, like the laws on buoy knives I mentioned, popped up over 40 years after 1791, which is when the Second Amendment came about, and only in a small minority of states. It's not tradition, that's an outlier. Next, the NRA calls out the Seventh Circuit for twisting the common use test from Heller. Remember, Heller said, weapons in common use for lawful purposes are protected. That means if millions of law abiding citizens own them, they're covered, end of story, period, point blank. Do not pass code and not collect $200. There are over 850,000 SBRs that are legally registered in the NFA in America today. They're legal in most states. They're used by sportsmen, collectors, and homeowners, not criminals. But instead of asking how common they are, the 7th Circuit asked what they're used for. In other words, they demanded proof that people use SBR specifically for self-defense, not just own them. That's nonsense. The Second Amendment protects the right to keep and bear arms, which means you get to bear them. You don't have to justify your ownership to the government. Here's where the brief really exposes the government's argument. The NRA points out that there was never a real reason that SBRs were added to the NFA in the first place back in 1934. See, back then, Congress was trying to ban pistols. And to make sure that people couldn't just cut down a rifle or a shotgun or turn it into a concealable gun, they lumped short-barreled rifles into the bill. And SBSs, too. But then, Congress removed pistols from the final version, realizing that they really couldn't ban them. So the whole reason for including SBR has evaporated, and nobody fixed it. That was basically a drafting mistake that stuck around for 91 years. And that's how we ended up here with the law that treats a 14 inch, a 15 inch, or even a 15 and a half inch barrel on an AR-15 like a machine gun. And here's the kicker. The NRA's brief says that there's zero evidence that SBRs are more dangerous or more likely to be used in crime. The fact that studies show they're rarely used by criminals at all means something. Now you'll hear anti-gun politicians out there bring up United States vs. Miller from 1939. And that's the case they claim upheld the NFA. But the NRA's brief clears that up too. Miller didn't say that the government can ban short barreled rifles. It said that short barreled shotguns weren't shown to be in common use at all at that time in 1939. Now that's a totally different weapon. In a totally different era. and they're most definitely in common use in 2025, SBRs that is. And here's where what Miller actually confirmed, that the Second Amendment protects the kind of arms in common use by the people. SBRs clearly meet that standard today. The DOJ also tried a procedural dodge here saying that Rush can't bring a facial challenge to the NFA because technically the law could be applied constitutionally to criminals. The NRA's response? That logic means no one could ever bring a Second Amendment challenge at all. And I'm glad they said that because that's exactly what the DOJ was saying here. The self-proclaimed, most, too-a-friendly one. Now, they point out that Heller itself was a facial challenge and that the court struck down DC's handgun ban entirely. And if that standard didn't apply, the Heller decision would have never happened. In short, the NRA says if Rush can't challenge the NFA on its face, then facial challenges no longer exists. And that's dangerous. Now this isn't just about one man's right to own an SBR. It's about all of ours. But the case could decide how courts apply Bruin to gun laws across the country. And the NRA's brief calls this case a perfect vehicle to fix the confusion and chaos that the lower courts have created. And right now the courts can't even agree on basics, like whether all bearable arms fall under the Second Amendment's text. Whether common use belongs in the tech stage or in the history stage of the Bruin test I mean it was pretty clear what the Supreme Court said and they can't even decide what barrel alarms are protected or banned I mean you can't really ban any of them if they're in common use right now The NRA says it's time for the Supreme Court to step in and settle it once and for all The Supreme Court is now reviewing whether to take up this case if they grant cert We could be looking at the most consequential Second Amendment case since Bruin and Heller And I hope they take the case. And if the court strikes down the NFA's SBR provisions, it could absolutely ripple across the entire regulatory framework. Suppressors, short-barrel shotguns, even parts of ATF's classification system could be on the chopping block. Now this is the kind of case that changes history. Patriots, we're watching history in the making here. And for decades, the National Firearms Act has stood out as one of the biggest federal infringements on the right to keep and bear arms ever. A law built on flawed logic, false assumptions, and bureaucratic control. And now, thanks to Rush vs. United States and the NRA, ILA's powerful brief, this reply brief was phenomenal, the Supreme Court now has a chance to correct that wrong. and restore the Second Amendment to its full constitutional meaning. This isn't about gangster weapons. Yes, the DOJ brought up the state Valentine's Day massacre in Bonnie and Clyde. It's about ordinary Americans who just want to exercise their rights without being treated like criminals. My problem with all of this is how they're missing the verbiage, even the construction with regard to discussing the corporate government of the United States versus Miller. The whole contest, the whole argument had nothing to do with legally. It had to do with militia arms. In fact, the argument was that the sawed-off shotgun that Mr. Miller was being charged with was just as rightly a militia arm as any other. And of course, initially, I will remind everybody, and I do not know if these people are ignorant of this with regard to the NRA or the rest of these people, but as I've mentioned several times, we've done the research on this decades ago, There are two rulings in Miller. The first one exonerated Miller and they waited about a week and then the FDR's administration came down the road and said you can't let them have those guns. You need to overturn that ruling and you know what they did? They overturned the ruling. So there are two rulings on Miller. The first one, Miller won. And Miller won without being present. This is what's really fascinating. He didn't show up for the case, for the hearing that took place, but they proceeded anyway. And in the process, the court ruled in favor of Miller. After that, approximately six going on seven days, The FDR's henchmen came down the road to basically strong arm the court and demanded that the court overturn their favorable ruling with the Miller case, which they did, the attack on militia arms. What's really fascinating is note the year, 1939. You do realize that about a year and a half later, and this is what's really cute, there are articles that were written, Confiscate the Guns, Get the Guns Now, Get the Guns in Chicago, Get the Guns in Detroit, Get the Guns in Michigan, Get the Guns in New York, Get the Guns in Pennsylvania, Confiscate the Guns, starting in 1927, by the way. Well, what's interesting is Pearl Harbor takes place and of course part of the propaganda with the Miller case was well How dare you peasants think that you should have you know short barrel shotguns? How dare you how dare you? Oh my god only criminals would have oh my god Oh my god, only criminals would have in the Jewish effeminate communities of the Zionists all of you horrible terrible terrible horrible goyim having guns at all should be stopped boy But it didn't work well. However, here's what's really fascinating. Governors, I think it was the governor of Maryland wrote up some bullshit about how, you know, it was especially important that the guns be confiscated from the peasants and how we, they needed we not we, the government needed to kick in doors and go after the guns. And then Pearl Harbor took place. And all these effeminate pieces of gutter trash crap their drawers. And in the next several months, as Pearl Harbor took place and then afterwards, these characters were coaching. Now listen to this, coaching the American people and their communities. in New Jersey and because of the possibility of German landings and German commandos and the possibility of an invasion that Americans should saw off shotguns and should create short barreled weapons that they can conceal under their clothing so that they could attack and assassinate the invaders when the time comes. Wow, we went from It's all evil and terrible and horrible for you to have these and we're going to kill you if you have them, which is what government was saying. That government would come to your house and kill you if you had them. And so you better get rid of them. You better surrender them. And then only a short few months later, turns around and tells everybody that well now that the government's at risk and the Jewish OI boys that make up the government are concerned about the possibility of of an invasion now all of a sudden you all need to do just the opposite and violate the law and everything because they need you goyim to step up there and be the bleeders the knuckle monkeys for the you know to protect the regime The regime hated you 15 minutes ago, but now all of a sudden you're very, it's very important that you sacrifice yourself for the people who are planning on sending the police to kill you in your home. It's the same crap you see going on right now with everybody in DC. They hate all of us out here. I don't give a squat who it is. There's only a handful that don't. And even there, again, there's a totally different creature in the district of criminals. And it's fascinating that right now, of course, we guys all need to get back into uniform. Look, the queers have gone into the closet. They're not really going to be there until the next regime comes in. And when they do, then you better watch it because they'll be spying for, you know, a spy to find all of you who are against the queers, especially against having the queers and cross-dressing uniforms again. How dare you not let that happen? How dare you not let the country see so radically back and forth between this fruit loop nutcase agenda? How dare you? How dare you? So as it is, again, the argument had to do with, and the most effective argument was the fact that all of these arms are militia arms, all arms. Do you think that the Patriots of 1775 turned away any weapon that they could get their hands on? There's a fictional piece that's in one April morning, which it was all part of the desperately, you know, doing a piece on April 19th, 1775. But then adding a comment by, was it Yurik, who plays, oh no, not Yurik, Tommy Lee Jones. He's supposed to be the captain of the militia. And he goes, yeah, there's six horse pistols. You know, they've got the talking about the inventory of weapons they have. You know, we got so many rifles, so many muskets, and we've got six horse pistols, whatever good they would do, odd, carry them. Anybody have an idea what a horse pistol is? It's basically a cut down with a pistol grip. musket to a shorter stature. It's not as short as a conventional belt pistol. It was more like the first inkling of what would become the standard cavalry carbines, but it was in pistol form. So I was called a horse pistol. Typically you had a couple of these braced on the the saddle of the rider of a cavalry or dragoon unit and you had two of them at least and if they could round up more they would and the idea was kapuk and then kapuk and of course you could flip it around because the burl was brassed. The burl is the base of the pistol grip and it was designed so that you flip the gun around and it's an elongated club just like on any of the other pistols of the day. So you could take somebody's head in, you know, take their head off. And those were the norm. Not the exception. Horse pistols? Hell yes. The commander of the militia would never have said anything stupid. Well, what good would they do? In other words, it's like every firearm, because they didn't have enough weapons to issue out, this is the one thing that gets me about it if you know the history of Lexington and Concord. Guys, they didn't have enough weapons to go around, so the men that didn't have arms stood at the back. The horse pistols would have made great sense to carry because at least you have a firearm. Now if it's a broken weapon and malfunctioned and you know there's no way to fix it supposedly that's a different story but that was not what was being addressed. The idea was to do the anti-handgun thing in a period when any firearm they could get their hands on was considered a good firearm. An example of ongoing non-stop bullshit propaganda of the type you typically see from the perverts and queers in Hollywood. And it's repeated constantly. That kind of why is something that they just love generating. And the old Ooyy boys will froth at the mouth and point, hey look there's a movie. It's historically kind of short of in the roundabout. But correct. Well, listen to what they said. How dare you? How dare you? So, again, militia has been the argument that was successful. The political correctness of the day is what's dictating that these people are mute on the subject rather than promoting the subject and should tell you something about the political correctness that you're dealing with across the board. No matter who it is, it's arguing what with regard to the situation. So, again, heads up, pay attention. And we are at the bottom of the hour and it is Quartermaster Friday and also Cinco De Ano Day. And it's like I said, years ago, YouTube killed the Golden Goose. They had a great package. They were taking over. I mean, there's no doubt. The Jewish mob just did what the Jewish mob does. They're neurotic and schizophrenic to begin with. And just before they started the YouTube nonsense, we actually were looking, I was seriously looking at a YouTube business package simply because it looked pretty good. It had a good format, it was useful. And then immediately they started the stabby, you know, ban you or block a video of this or whatever. And for a few days, couldn't even access the channel. And it's like, well, that convinced me I'm not spending any money on YouTube. Why? Well, if I give you money and then you tell me that some arbitrary purple-haired fruit loop nutcase who really doesn't care about your business but just has a political agenda which may match the people who are in supervision, Well, the ownership should understand that you're not going to get my money because if I can access the tool that I paid for and it was understood that I'd be able to use it as traditionally we had, then there's no sense of me being so stupid or foolish that I would give you any of my money or any digits or any recognition or any acknowledgment. If you're going to turn around and screw us in the process like that to the point where We absolutely just can't use what we paid for. I'm kind of an old American in that respect. And heading into the weekend, Also, a reminder, we talked about, and we always talk about music. I have fun with music. Music is a weapon. Music is a tool. So this weekend, we have a number of really great FTXs going on. They're mostly just conventional tactical combined arms team using light drone and medium drone. We've got aviation, radio signal communications, practicing jamming and using the null-entropy systems to shut down electronic within an area. In other words, enveloping an area. operating as conventional non-electric infantry, engage, contact, destroy, strip enemy forces, and move on to other things. So a lot of work is going to be interesting to see how the up and coming weeks here, we've got snow eventually hitting us, which always changes the dynamic. And we train all winter, so most important here is as I said over there at Centerfire, they've got some pretty good deals on muckalucks and also some of the other winter boots. Yes, somebody immediately goes, you know, it can get colder than just what we see here in the normal season. And yes, that's true, which is why Mickey Mouse boots are something that I always harp on and I'm gonna talk about them now. Mickey Mouse boots are called Mickey Mouse boots because they look goofy, man. Should be goofy boots instead of Mickey Mouse boots. Man, those are goofy boots. Except if you remember with the old Mickey Mouse, he's got the stick legs and he's got the big feet and he's got the big hands. Mickey Mouse boots are made about the time of the Korean War. There's actually prototypes that were out there probably at the end of World War II because we were in Germany and guys, winter in Germany is bitter. It's horrifically bitter if you know anything about Germany. It will take your toes in a heartbeat. So what's interesting is there are a lot of different things. Felt packs were the norm. That was all, that had been around forever were variations on the felt pack which is a wool felt pack. Always remember that wool. Wool dries from the inside out. That's why wool felt packs are, again, those are great. Mickey Mouse boots, you can wear a set of dress socks with a pair of Mickey Mouse boots because if you're going to be moving and walking around and working outside in the winter, they retain almost 100% of your body heat. That's the only you got to watch. Now, here are a couple things. There are infantry boots and there are av option boots is basically the best way to explain it. The valve boots, yes, do have a deeper rating, but that's because of the insulation core and the way it's set up, not because of the valve. The purpose behind the valve on a Mickey Mouse boot, for those that are the valve type boots, is so that when you get in an airplane, you open up that valve as an equalizer, and it allows for the boots to maintain their normal configuration rather than turn into a couple of super Mickey Mouse boots as they stretch because of the air pockets that are inside the standard pattern. And since you have the bleeder valve, you're able to take and eliminate the possibility of you looking really, really, really goofy and having an embarrassing incident while onboard an aircraft. That's the purpose behind that. However, they are rated a little differently as far as depth, 45 to 65, 65 degree minus 65, not 65 plus. Where to access Mickey Mouse boots right now sportsman's guide does have a batch of Mickey Mouse boots in the clearance section There are also Mickey Mouse boots at Coleman's calm Coleman's calm Major surplus calm major surplus calm and keep shooting calm. They're not the only places And I think the best deals right now are the clearance models that are over there in that sportsman's guide. Over into the clearance, go into the military surplus, as I explained before, and then do the scroll search. And I noticed that I don't know how many, what size is, but I know that a certain number of Mickey Mouse boots are in the clearance markdown section. Take advantage of that now there are copies now there used to be Korean But I don't know that the Koreans offer them anymore. I have not seen them on the surplus market they were really obnoxious to make and the Koreans have Pretty powerful union operations in South Korea, so they may have pushed themselves right out of business But we don't see those the way we used to here in the US They were okay Now, the only other copies, which are military copies, are French. And every once in a while, they're nothing but the straightforward infantry boot. They don't have a valve or anything like that. They're good for the same rating as the standard US infantry Mickey Mouse boot. And by the way, yes, all of them are used by the infantry. You've got Air Mobile, Airborne. For air crews, even, the Mickey Mouse boot was a standard in extreme cold weather, just like the Arctic Mittens and all the other fun stuff. More on that in a minute. But anyway, go through the different sources. Coleman's typically has a good selection of Mickey Mouse boots, major surplus, which is way out on the other side of the country. Same thing, they have had them in the past. There are a couple of wholesalers that are on the west coast that don't typically move those boots very well. But I just got a flyer from them, an email, that they have a number of boot options. And we're caught in conversation about buying a large quantity of those boots and then making them available to militia here. I've done that in the past. We've bought seven, eight, 10,000 pairs of boots at a time. and then move them out to the troops proper size, etc. Everything from German combat boots, Swiss Alpine boots, Mickey Mouse boots, etc., even mucklucks. So, in quantities, mass quantities. But these sources, you don't have to buy mass quantities. You can buy one, two, three, however many pairs you need. Now, there's a difference between those Mil-Tec Thinsulate boots, which are a regular utility service winter boot, and Mickey Mouse boots. Mickey Mouse boots especially are great if you're going to be out in the field for an extended period of time. You can stand there in Mickey Mouse boots and if you start to get a little cool, you just wiggle your toes, move yourself around a little bit. And the body heat alone will, again, reactivate, charge the things up. You can get completely immersed in water. with Mickey Mouse boots on and as long as you can move around even with moisture, although you should again make every effort to dump the, if there's water in the boot, dump it as quickly as you can. Also change socks out if you get wet, but if you don't, amazingly enough, the boots will keep you from losing body parts. They will not let your feet freeze. They're really one of the best cold weather boots ever created. So if you got a pair keep them and if you find more grab them go ahead call or jump in there. Who do we have Tom? I got pair muckalucks They they do keep you feet warm, but if you try running in them, yeah, you can't they're not good for running they're designed for cold dry and Although they do have a good you know again the the way muckalucks are set up the ideas that you have that little protection for the lower leg because when you're pushing through the snow or try to walk through any kind of snow you're gonna get stuff beat up over into the boot so with a muck lock that doesn't happen because they're also sealed at the top which you're supposed to have with your combat boots also. Go ahead. Well my short legs they go almost up to my knees so yeah they do work wonders. I got really short legs If anyone's ever seen me, I yeah, I don't get the long legs and also for the one of the bottom of the Alice songs Can you do rockin in the free world by Neil Young? Jump in there, please. Yeah, I know this isn't boots, but another piece of cold weather gear, if you want to lighten up your load a little bit, would be a kidney warmer. Kidney wrap, yes. Kidney wrap. No, you're right. Kidney warmer, kidney wrap. The big thing there is, again, there are commercial ones out there. The last ones that we got were Swedish military. Sometimes they show up as surplus, sometimes they don't. But they are definitely, well, here's an interesting story from years ago. A bunch of guys that I know were in Korea. They were in Korea at the beginning of the Korean War, the first winter. They had no cold weather gear. They were losing toes left and right. But the quartermaster came around, which is typically how it happened. They come around looking for you. and said, hey, try these. And it was these long wool look like a scarf, but they were tapered on the ends and they had a tie string on either end. And they looked at it, well, what the hell are we supposed to do with those? He goes, well, you put those over your kidneys right over there, you wrap them around about two times, and then you tie them up front. And what's that gonna do? Well, it'll keep you warm. And they're like, yeah, right. And all of a sudden, they put them on and hey, this is working. Hey, this is pretty good. And interestingly enough, that was not the end, but that alleviated a lot of the pain and suffering. Something as simple as a kidney wrap. Now, they just had regular combat boots, typically with rubber boots over top. Some of them had some felt pack boots. And some made cold weather covers for their boots out of material that they could scavenge. But the next winter, or no, forgive me, it was later in the winter, but it wasn't finished yet. And the quartermaster comes around and tells everybody, hey, come back over to the deuce a half. We got Mickey Mouse boots. And he said, what the hell is a Mickey Mouse boot? And they said, well, we'll show you. And he goes, okay, now you can have your Mickey Mouse boots, but you have to give us the kidney wraps back. And they're like, what? And he goes, yeah, we don't want you to overheat. And again, that would probably be true, but here's the thing, a stupid little wool, it was like a thick wool piece of wool blanket is what the kidney wraps are like. Think of it like, you'd basically remember a cummerbunds on tuxedos. That's really where that came from. So it's about the same idea as the cummerbund and about the same width. What's interesting is that the quartermaster would not give these guys the boots unless they gave him back the kidney wraps. Now there's another reason possibly as one of my friend Dwight said, he goes, well chances are there's a whole bunch of other guys that weren't gonna get the boots we were getting. So at least they had the kidney wraps to hand out to somebody else. But one of the reasons that they specifically stated is that if you have the Mickey Mouse boots, the kidney wrap would, between the two, you would be, you know, toasty, warm, and then some. So just a heads up there. But the kidney wrap is still something to keep in mind. And yeah, you can still combine it. There are different gauges and weights of material. You can make a kidney wrap with a strip of wool blanket. Just use it the leave the wool blanket the width you know the heather they're narrower than they are you know, they're narrow width is where the you know where you want to cut and About four or five inches five inches would be best six might be better and then you wrap the area and you could pin it into place you can hold it in with a Suspender strap, you know sideways doing it or is you know wrapping that around because it's elastic and There's a number of tricks you can do to make it work if you had to improvise, but it does work. It truly works. Yeah, it does work. I'm speaking from experience because I spent two years in the Balkans and a lot of the times I was just running around with a woolly pulley with a windshirt and my kidney wrap. And of course a hat and gloves and whatnot and you stay pretty warm and you don't even have to be super active You know, obviously I couldn't be super active all the time But yeah, you in the mountains up there and you know, if deep snow a long John's too, but I mean you have all the basics but you It makes a huge difference. I had to make mine out of a wool blanket like you were saying But yeah, everybody's looking at me like I'm staying so warm. Well Then word got around and then it spread Yeah, you know, it's cute is that the secret the drill sergeants didn't want anybody I've had somebody tell me oh that's just a wives tale about using a kidney wrap But I think the reason they did that is because how can these drill sergeants stand out here in this super cold They're standing there looking like, you know, cool as a cucumber. They ain't got no problems in the world. And it's like, well, there's a little trick there. In fact, basically what they do make is a out of diving suit, high-impact rubber, basically the same thing. Also, it's a gut belt too. That's what a lot of people, you like to use them in holly weird, you know, gut belts to suck everything in. But they work the same way. That material works just as well as a matter of fact. It's just tougher to find. And more difficult to find in any good quantity or quality. So that's why the wool, and wool, the one good thing about wool wrap is that again, even if it gets wet, it retains heat. That's one of the most important aspects of, again, wool is that it, remember, it dries from the inside out on the warm side, the body side. So your heat, your body heat, 98.6, pushes the moisture through the wool to the outside. So the inner area typically dries all on its own, simply with your available calories from your existing body heat and body temperature. Just something to keep in mind. So again, this is why wool is something you want to be collecting now in preparation for the future that we all face. So again, common sense, proper planning prevents poor performance. That should be the goal for everyone. Yeah, again, if you notice, I'll tell you another place where you can see this design idea with the kidney ramp. Look at a voyager coat. Look at the coat of the voyagers. They usually were in the red with the stripes. There would be a wet stripe and a black stripe and maybe a blue stripe. But the red, of course, was very notorious. And if you look at the wood design, take a look at how they're cinched at the waist, above the waist, how they're cinched at the kidney, about basically kidney height. and there's a double thickness, a double wrap to that area. So that was the purpose behind the design. That's why they worked so well. And they were in Canada. And you know, Canada's like, well, it's like operating in Germany. It's just bitter ass cold. It just doesn't get warm. Not during the winter. It just doesn't get warm. So you need to be prepared accordingly for the problem. Pontiac, which you never hear anything about Pontiac anymore. Pontiac had some really kick-ass hole-in-the-wall locations that were classic, you know, rat-skeller type, you know, like the old German beer hall. And you went in there and they were built that way. And you didn't know who you were gonna hear playing that night. The same is true for Lansing. All these cities, the whole country is dead. As far as creativity goes, it's been killed by the police state because it is true that, again, all these hole-in-the-wall locations were basically the old pirate coves. And so all kinds of things were going on around them. And it became a big business for first of all the industry to be allowed to expand the way that it did and then it became big business for the ring knockers to go after the people who were operating the businesses. It's a usual cyclic routine and we're in the dumps right now with regard to creativity and unique minds doing interesting things. There isn't much out there, but that's because, you know, there used to be personal interaction and also feedback and you built up a loyal audience by literally getting out there and meeting people. And in this case, as a musician, you did it by actually playing in front of people. And the number of places are just, it's nonexistent now. That's why they argue that a, like, Metallica, no band like Metallica could show up again. They were in the perfect location at the height of that type of music development and they just had the perfect time, perfect sound, right place, everything plugged in. But it's argued that there's no opportunity for another group of people to do that. And it's not accidental. It was done, there's a combination of coordination by the creatures that are manipulating all of our society because they're greedy. And they didn't want that, they didn't want someone else raking in the dough, so to speak. If they couldn't control it, the idea is burn it down, which is exactly what they did. And again, also for psychological and mental manipulation and conditioning of the population, that's one of the reasons that music is in there. Artistry is out there and promoted the way it is. So, for instance, the political message that's in the song you just recommended, that wouldn't be allowed right now. Everybody has to be politically correct. It doesn't make any difference which fake side you're on. the music or the product that's being produced does not exist. And I think the best example of that, just for anybody who says, oh Mark, you don't know what you're talking about. Well, what I said before about this last election, you mean to say that the best you could do for a presidential fight song is from the Poof to Queer Group YMCA? You mean to say of all the musicians and people that are in America, You couldn't find a person to be the minstrel in the gallery for your cause. You didn't have like a hundred musicians that were pro-patriot musicians that couldn't have come up with, not only could they come up with a song, but they could have come up with a song that was unique to the campaign. And I'll tell you what, if Mr. Massey and people around him are smart, They will start that process now because I don't care what anybody says. I know all about the background of Mr. Massey. The enemy hates Mr. Massey. For that reason, you want to at least put, you know, kick dirt in their face by promoting Massey for President, 2028. We need to be on the bandwagon on that right now. But what needs to happen is there needs to be a dynamic. If you want him, you know, and I mean he's not a dynamic guy. He's a geek paper pusher. I know he is. I can, you know, see how he acts. He's intelligent. He's, you know, he's forthright in many ways. He's fixated, okay, which is what you need if you're gonna get somebody that's a real bulldog to get in there and actually do something right. Because right now the big bloated police state and the big bloated bureaucracy and the big bloated government is continuing just as it always has. It's taxing the shit out of everybody. It plans on stealing the property off from underneath our feet. Yeah, that ain't nothing new. That's just same old garbage we've seen forever and the same turds are doing it and Trump's part of it. So guess what? You know, we better figure out real quick and again, do I personally believe that you're gonna vote your way out of this problem? No, I do not. But I do believe that we should use every tool in the toolbox to have fun while we're busy kicking dirt in the enemy's face. And since Gilded is not really, is an outside, outside of their other systems, it's one of the things that they're cutting to try to stop the hemorrhaging that they're having from the fall out with attacking people who are turning pedophiles in and letting the pedophiles roam free in their game Roblox. So happening would go that's why shutting down on December 19th. It's not what they're saying on their on their little page that you know, it's leaving soon December it shuts down on December 19th all all fluff about saying that your committees will still continue inside of Roblox blah blah blah blah blah blah But, yeah, the whole reason why Gilded is shutting down is because of the pedophile problem that they have inside of Roblox. You'd think you're paying for privacy when you go to these things. Some people think they're paying for security. VPNs are not making you any more secure. It might be giving you a level of anonymity towards other people looking at you, but the government and Big Brother, oh yeah, they're the ones that are hosting you this thing. I always try to explain it to people. If there are region locks on content, that are put there because of government licensing and whatnot. By 2016, Snapchat had basically taken over as a go-to app for Gen Z. Teenagers were leaving Facebook and Instagram in huge numbers, and Facebook needed to know fast just how quickly that shift was happening. Then Snapchat encrypted its traffic, and Onavo was now blind. So Zuckerberg sent his team a clear directive. We need reliable analytics about Snapchat. You should figure out how to do this. Facebook engineers launched something called Project Ghostbusters. It was the plan to bypass HTTPS encryption and restore visibility into Snapchat, YouTube, House Party, and other apps. Here's how they did it. They created a fake root certificate to impersonate app. They installed it through a VPN profile. It intercepted encrypted traffic. It decrypted that traffic and logged it and then re-encrypted it before sending it along. From the user side, everything looked normal. But in reality, Facebook had just carried out a man in the middle attack. The exact kind of tactic you'd expect from spyware or state surveillance programs. And the people they tested on were teenagers, aged 13 to 17. They were offered $20 in gift cards to give Facebook full, root-level access to their phones. Even Facebook's own VP of security warned, no security person is ever comfortable with this. Eventually, in 2018, Apple banned Onavo for violating its privacy rules. So Facebook just rebranded it. They called it Facebook Research, codenamed it Project Atlas, and used Apple's Enterprise Distribution System to sneak it onto iPhones, bypassing the App Store entirely. And their target was still teenagers. They paid kids, again, age 13 to 17, $20 a month in gift cards to install the app and hand over complete root access. And it only stopped when TechCrunch broke the story in 2019. Apple responded by revoking Facebook's enterprise certificates, which instantly killed every internal app Facebook employees were using at the time. But did they actually stop? No! They kept the project alive on Android. They kept collecting data. They kept making billion dollar decisions based on surveillance. This is a long term business model designed with intent backed by technical expertise and strategically targeted miners. And yeah, this is the part where I have to be careful and censor what I say. You seem advertiser friendly, especially with VPN companies, so I can't always show you everything here. That's why I put the full breakdown, the documents, receipts, and my real dots inside the cyber resistance club. If you want the uncensored version, it's all waiting for you in the link below. So here's what matters now. Facebook was the first to do it this way. They used the VPN to collect user data under the label of privacy and it worked. That opened the door and others started copying the business model. Companies with histories in adware, spyware, and data harvesting began acquiring VPN services. Trust was not their goal. They just needed users to stop asking questions. Some of the most popular VPNs today are built on that exact same structure. They have the same incentives and playbook. And unless you're looking deep under the surface, it's nearly impossible to tell. This is where it goes from sketchy to straight up sinister, because a huge number of VPN companies are not real companies. They're shell corporations, adware firms, offshore fronts, and former spyware vendors rebranded as privacy tools. And maybe you've seen those independent VPN review sites, the ones that always seem to rank ExpressVPN and Ghost in the top three. Surprise! Those sites are owned by the same company that owns the VPNs. And that company's got one hell of a backstory. Ever heard of CAPE technologies? Didn't think so. But that's on purpose. CAPE, formerly known as Crossrider, used to make browser hijackers and add injection malware. In 2018, they changed their name, because obviously, malware wasn't a great look. They then quietly started buying up the VPN industry. Here's what they own now. CyberGhost, since 2017, was then made in 2018, Private Internet Access, or PIA, in 2019, and ExpressVPN, which was bought in 2021 for $936 million. And that's not all. Cape also owns the independent review sites, VPN Mentor, and Safety Directives, which consistently ranks Cape's own products at the very top of every best VPN list. You're not supposed to catch that. The same company that used to inject ads into your browser now controls multiple major VPN brands and the review sites that recommend them. They built an entire surveillance ecosystem, monetized both ends of it, and slapped a privacy sticker on the front. One industry analyst put it like this, Kate's network was explicitly designed to go after your data and your wallet. Do you still feel safe with your VPN? Kate isn't the only one playing this game. The VPN industry is littered with fake names, offshore shells, and state-level entanglements. Here's just one example. Back in 2025, investigators found out that more than 20 of the top 100 VPNs in the App Store were quietly owned by Chinese companies. That list included TurboVPN, VPNToxymaster, and ThunderVPN, all tied to a parent firm connected to Jihoo360. a company blacklisted by the U.S. government for national security risks. Their ownership was masked through Cayman Islands and Singapore registered Chelles, but the traffic was routed through some very questionable infrastructure, and users had no idea. These apps had millions of downloads. Meanwhile, ExpressVPN, yes, the one owned by Case, employed a former mercenary hacker from the UAE's Project Raven. That's a surveillance unit known for using zero days against journalists and activists. That executive stayed on staff even after the US fined him. That's the kind of decision that tells you exactly what kind of company you're dealing with. And it gets worse when you look at all the claims these companies make. The ones plastered all over their websites, their ads, and their influencer deals. Because one of the biggest ones is no logs. Here's the dirty secret of VPN marketing. No logs means absolutely nothing without proof. And most VPNs either don't get audited, get fake audits from shady shell companies, or just outright lie. And even when there is an audit, it's usually a one-time thing, outdated, or only done on one server, or maybe a limited configuration. And when logs do exist, they leak. In 2020, 7's no-log VPNs, including UFOVPN and SuperVPN, were caught with 1.2 terabytes of exposed user lock. Names, IPs, session timestamps, all wide open. All of them were running on the same white label infrastructure. All used fake company names and all made the same hollow privacy promises. By the mid-2010s, VPNs had a problem. Nobody outside of niche tech forums cared about them. So the companies behind them pivoted and they started paying creators. And it worked. People who didn't understand how VPNs actually function were suddenly promoting military-grade encryption and 100% anonymous browsing like it was toothpaste. Audiences listened because trust scales a lot faster than truth. And here's the part no one talks about. For most creators, 60 to 70% of their income comes from sponsorships. And VPN companies pay really well. It's $5,000 for a mid-tier channel and up to $25,000 per integration for bigger ones. Plus lifetime commissions on every signup. That's 30 to 50% of every subscription, four years going to creators. In 2023, researchers reviewed 243 VPN ads on YouTube. 80% of them made false claims about anonymity, tracking protection, and security. And the vast majority of creators, they never checked what was actually under the hood. There's no incentive to verify a product when the pitch pays better than the truth. But this isn't about blaming creators, it's about the system. Because under capitalism, trust becomes a product, and once it's up for sale, privacy doesn't stand a chance. And this is also why I have never accepted a sponsored post. If you were wondering what the hell you're actually supposed to use to stay safe online, buckle up. We're about to break down exactly what makes a VPN worth trusting, which ones actually pass the test, and what to use instead if you really want to protect yourself. Let's clear something up real quick, because most people don't actually understand what a VPN even does, and what it doesn't. At its core, a VPN is just a private tunnel and encrypts your traffic between your device and the VPN server and it hides your IP address from your internet service provider or ISP and local network. That's it! Here's what that tunnel actually gives you. Your traffic is encrypted between you and the VPN. Your IP address is masked from the sites you visit. You get protection on sketchy public Wi-Fi. And yeah, it can help you get around geo blocks or censorship. But here's what it doesn't do. It doesn't make you anonymous. It doesn't block trackers, fingerprinting, or device IDs. It doesn't stop DNS leaks, unless you've configured it to. It doesn't stop apps from phoning home. It doesn't delete your history or clean up your metadata. and it definitely doesn't protect you from phishing, malware, or shady browser extensions. So bottom line, a VPN is just one layer or tool. If you're not combining it with hardened browsers and cryptid DNS, sandbox apps, and solid data hygiene, you're not getting privacy. Now let's take it one step further, because sometimes using a VPN isn't just ineffective, it might actually be the wrong move. If you care about true anonymity, if you're a journalist, an activist, a dissident under threat, you should not be relying on a VPN. Here's why. VPNs are centralized. That means logs can be subpoenaed. Even no log providers might still collect connection metadata. The VPN endpoint knows your IP and maybe even your payment info. And you're still wide open to fingerprinting and behavior-based tracking. So if you're trying to dodge surveillance capitalism, a VPN won't save you. It won't block Google or Facebook or the thousands of analytics libraries buried in your app. But what you need is browser hardening and a serious rethink of your entire device setup. That said, VPNs can still be the right tool. It just depends on your situation. They're genuinely useful when you're on public Wi-Fi and want protection from man-in-the-middle attacks. If you're trying to bypass school, work, or government firewalls. If you want access to blocked content like different Netflix regions or censored news, you don't trust your ISP or your country's network infrastructure, or you're trying to reduce your tracking surface by masking your IP. So yes, VPNs still have a place, but you've also got to know when to use them and which ones you can actually trust. So what should you demand from a VPN before you even consider it? Here's a checklist. If they don't pass every single point, walk away. Full scope third party audit, not just a no loss claim. I need the whole infrastructure. The clients, the servers, the logging policies. No audit means no trust. Transparent ownership. Can you trace who owns the company? Where they're based? Who's on the team? If not, assume they're hiding something. Open source clients. If you can't see what the software is doing on your machine, you can't verify a single claim they're making. Anonymous payment options. If they require a credit card or PayPal, they're tying your identity to your usage. Cash, Monero, Crypto, or nothing. No connection metadata. No logs should mean no logs at all. That includes time stamps, bandwidth, and session ID. If they keep any of it, it's a red flag. Privacy-free features like kill switches, DNS leak protections, wire guard support, tour bridge or multi-hop routing, and custom DNS resolver support. And finally, it must be paid. No exceptions. If you're not paying for the product, you are the product. And if any of that is missing, that's not a privacy tool, that is spyware. So, which VPNs have actually earned the security community's trust? These are the few providers that meet the bar. Just what the security community actually respects. First, we have Molot. It's based in Sweden. No email required and accepts cash by mail. It's fully audited and has open source clients. It offers tour bridge support and it is best for privacy-matched users who don't want to hand over any identity whatsoever. Next up, we have IVTM. It's based in Gibraltar. They have transparent audits and team disclosures. and they block ads and trackers at the network level. It has anonymous sign-up and crypto payments. This one is best for users who want privacy by default and strong ethics under the hood. And there's the ad proton VPN. It is based in Switzerland, they have transparent ownership, which is by the proton mail team, it's audited and open source, and they have a generous free tier with no data cash. Switzerland may soon force VPNs to log metadata. However, Proton has said that they'll relocate if the law passes, and they started moving their infrastructure. It is best for beginners who want a trustworthy, non-predatory VPN that they can grow with. Now these aren't perfect tools, but they are trustable and in a space where most others are built to extract, mislead, and exploit. So what should you use instead or alongside a VPN? Most people treat VPNs like the holy grail of privacy, but in 2025 they're often the least important part of your setup. Because what actually makes you trackable usually has nothing to do with your IP address. It's your browser, your behavior, your DNS traffic, your apps, your device ID. A VPN doesn't touch any of that, so if you actually want to reduce your exposure, you need layers. And these tools do more for your privacy than any sponsors we've yet ever will. So first we have DNS over HTTPS or DOPE. Let's start with what almost nobody configures, DNS. Every time you visit a website, your computer makes a DNS request asking, where is this site located? By default, those request your plain text, meaning your internet service provider or ISP and anyone else on the network can see everything you try and visit, even with HTTPS, even with a VPN, unless your VPN encrypts DNS too. DNS over HTTPS fixes that. It encrypts your DNS lookups and sends them through a trusted resolver like Next DNS, CloudFlare, or Controlled. You can even self-host if you're advanced. If your goal is to stop your ISP from tracking your browsing, DOH handles it cleanly without rerouting all of your traffic through a VPN provider that you don't even know. Next we have Tor Browser. Tor reroutes your traffic through three relays so no single point sees both who you are and where you're going. It's a powerful tool, but it's not a magic cloak. It's not true anonymity and using it wrong breaks it fast. If you log into a personal account on Tor, you've linked your identity. If you act like it's a normal browser by opening tabs, resizing windows, watching YouTube with your account logged in, you fingerprint yourself. More is best when used carefully with no personal logins and a tight understanding of threat modeling. For high-risk situations where you need to reduce visibility, it works. But if you don't need that level of obfuscation, skip it. You'll just slow things down and expose yourself anyway. Next we have hardened Firefox. Most privacy leaks happen in the browser, not in the network. So start with using Firefox. Install Ublock origin, disable WebRTC, kill telemetry, use container tab, and now your browser isn't leaking fingerprint, system info, or third party cookies every time you load a page. You're already miles ahead of most people using a VPN alone. Browser isolation. If you're using one browser for everything from banking, crypto, work, and research, then you're fully linkable, even with a VPN. So split your activity. Put crypto in one browser, personal accounts in another, work in a container tab or a virtual machine, and research in a hardened setup. Compart mentalization breaks the cross connections that ad tech depends on. Even if one part gets exposed, the rest of your identity stays sealed. And self-hosted VPN. If all you want is encrypted traffic on public Wi-Fi, you don't need to rent that tunnel from a shady provider. Spin up your own WireGuard VPN on a $5 virtual private server, and now you control the endpoint without any mystery logs or surveillance of the service or middle-net. It won't make you anonymous, but it will protect you from sketchy routers, firewalls, and lazy ISPs. The bottom line is that a VPN is just one layer, and for most people, it's not even the most important one. HTTPS encrypts your actual web traffic. DNS over HTTPS hides your DNS lookups. You block and harden Firefox to destroy trackers and Tor when used correctly offers obfuscation, not invisibility. Browser isolation breaks profiling and self hosted VPNs let you route traffic without spelling yourself out. So if you're only asking, which VPN should I buy? You're asking the wrong question. It's not just that VPNs could watch you, some were made for that. And the people who paid to tell you they were safe rarely checked if that was true. Companies hid behind shell firms. Creators repeated talking points, and privacy became something you bought, not something you understood. You weren't protected, you were sold to. That's one of the things I've talked about in people like, where's the proof? Well, that's one trail that leads back to what you talked about there. There's a lot more that goes back, not just to Israel, but also, like I said, MI6, the CIA. It depends on what country you're in. I guarantee you that one in Switzerland that they're talking about, the whole reason why they want to get the metadata tracking. is it's an intelligence agency that's running it. Or at least the one that isn't leaving, remember one of them's leaving but the other one isn't leaving Switzerland because of what they're trying to pass there. This video is recent but I don't know how there are laws or when there was or passed. I'm not watching Switzerland's government to tell you if that's safe or not. It's better just to say, eh, you know what? I think I will do what I've been doing because Firefox, again, she agreed with me, Firefox is like probably the better solution. It does have its problems. It is becoming more problematic, but so is everything right now down the line as far as computers go. Always treat being online as if you are talking in the town square and everybody's looking at you because all the companies, all government, they're looking at you. They have people paid to spy on you and now, now your own computer is being set up to spy on you, which is kind of what the next video is about, is that we're gonna play here because this is, I'm sorry, tonight's gonna be a tech night. This is a little bit of education for people. If you haven't paid attention to this stuff before, it's a good idea to pay attention to it. This whole AI messing with your computer and Windows owning more of it than you started back, I think Windows 9, even Windows 9 or 10 is when they started to decide what programs you use need to be on your computer and they start uninstalling stuff on you. And they slowly dialed that back a bit, but they're trying to ratchet it back up again. I mentioned this back when we started I think when we started using SamCloud, we had another, an older program that I had as a backup that the damn, yeah, Icecast. I had Icecast as the backup. And the damn Windows program tipped uninstalling Icecast because, oh, I'm not using it. It eventually stopped doing that, but we still have problems like that. Like right now, I mentioned this on air, I keep removing the stamping, Windows keeps putting it back in, OneDrive. I don't want an account with OneDrive. I've never set up an account with OneDrive, but Microsoft set an account up with me for OneDrive. And this is not affecting the radio station. It irks me because I do gaming and some of my gaming files have been transferred over there. And for me to get them back, I have to log in with a OneDrive account to get those files back. I either have to log in with a free account or I have to log in with a subscribed account, which I don't want to do either. I don't want to give Microsoft any more of my information. They shouldn't have taken that information in the first place. I like having my save files for my games on my computer. That way, I don't have to be online to play a damn game. That's why some of the games I play, that's why I play them. You don't have to be online to play them. I do like playing online games with friends. I like playing massive multiplayer online games with communities of people. You know, Darzak and I, we played Warcraft together. I met my wife Shelly who's sitting behind me playing video games. We met on Warcraft. So yeah, gaming has been kind of like a big part of my life, but it's not something that I would risk my information over, you know, I wouldn't risk my wife or you know, what it's used in this fashion and here they are they basically blackmailing me with my game files thinking it's gonna get me to Subscribe or sign into this BS thing that I keep removing from my hard drive And they keep putting it back. It's becoming a mandatory feature for Windows 2. It's one of several that they're trying to push on you Let's see So, and that's gonna, with that, it'll bring us into the next video, which is Microsoft's AI-powered, co-pilot plus PCs for spyware. And now, if your computer doesn't have that special security spyware chip in it, your computer won't be able to use Windows. Well, there are some workarounds on that. We've posted some of them in the gilded and in the Discord for people. But the whole idea is that you're not gonna own your computer, Your computer is going to become another ad box to shove ads at you because the ad agencies are realizing television's dead. And streaming's not doing much better, but if they do don't have to log in, to stream, to see an ad, if the first thing that comes up when you're on your computer is a whole bunch of ads, wow, that would be perfect for the ad agencies. Because then they don't have to advertise the streaming, they don't have to, you don't have to travel to the ad, yeah, it's gonna come right to you, doesn't that sound great? That's what they want, they want to force ad down you 24-7. Whatever you're doing with your devices. And this'll come into that, go ahead. You know the streaming thing Roku? I got that and I get Pluto TV. You've heard of Pluto TV, haven't you? I have. There are a lot of streaming services out there. Go ahead. It seems like Pluto TV is sort of a little bit of a propaganda platform unless I'm mistaken. Over. I'm not familiar enough with it to what time it is. I'm aware of it. I don't know what programs are on that streaming service. But real quick, I'll look into that. We might cover that next week. Real quick, we're going to play this video while we can. I think we've got just enough time to get it in. This is Microsoft AI-Powered Copilot Plus. PCs are spyware. My oh my, Microsoft isn't even trying to hide the fact that Windows is spyware anymore. In fact, they're pretty much marketing the spyware as its greatest feature now. Like, I've always just operated under the assumption that any software that I'm not able to study the source code of is spyware. And I think that's a sane assumption to make because there's really no other way for you to confirm otherwise Hell, even with open source software, we've seen that it's possible to sneak nasty stuff in and have it not be detected for a long time like what we saw with the XZ backdoor. But the spyware assumption with Windows for me used to just be that principle of all proprietary software is spyware until proven otherwise combined with the fact that Microsoft literally does targeted advertising and the login screen and the start menu so they obviously have a financial incentive to turn their OS into spyware. But when I saw this news that Microsoft is going to be adding this new feature called Recall to Windows 11 that uses AI to record everything that you're doing within your desktop OS so that you can then browse back through what you were doing later on throughout the day or I mean it pretty much records the history of everything you do once you turn it on. this I thought there's no way that anybody could want this feature. Like it's just taking screenshots of what you're doing every five seconds if the content that's on your screen changes. And you know this new bit of spyware is also very resource heavy. In order to use system recall your PC needs to have 16 gigs of RAM, 8 logical processors, and at least 256 gigs of storage capacity. And to really get the most out of this AI, Microsoft wants new PCs to have a dedicated neural processing unit built into them that's capable of 40 trillion operations per second. I mean, it's honestly mind-blowing that this will one day become the base system requirements for Microsoft's OS, or at least Microsoft's OS with AI spyware enabled, which of course is how they're going to build out the OS experience. I mean, in the future, if you're not running their AI, then you're just going to be experiencing the discount version of Windows. Like, back in the day, the recommended requirements for Windows XP was 128 MB of RAM, 2 gigs of free space, and a 300 MHz processor. That was it! And if you wanted a spyware-ridden digital assistant on your computer, then you could always install a bonsai buddy. That's right, this cheeky purple monkey from the late 90s was peak digital helper technology. And this guy along with my boy Clippy, they could run circles around Copilot Plus on a processor that Windows 11 wouldn't even be able to boot off of. And don't get fooled into thinking that these co-pilot plus requirements or even windows 11 requirements are just normal for a modern desktop like oh yeah we've got so much RAM we've got DDR5 and DDR6 is on the horizon I mean why not just use all these system resources surely it must be normal right well no lightweight Linux and BSD distros still carry similar system requirements to what windows XP needed Because when you strip away all the bloat, this is all that most people really need in a modern PC. The rest is just for Microsoft and the government's global spying apparatus to work at its full efficiency. And I also love... how things like recall are being described as an AI feature because it's literally just screenshots like screenshots that are taken at a specific time interval. I mean this kind of capability has been built into remote access Trojans for decades at this point. But of course, we've got to call it AI so that the tech consumers will eat it up and get excited to consume new product. Now, Microsoft says in their post about recall that all of the screenshots are just stored locally on your computer. And really this local processing and local analysis is one of the big benefits that Microsoft is claiming to bring with these co-pilot plus PCs. So instead of having to send input to an AI that's running remotely on a server somewhere and then sends you the output back, the co-pilot AI is supposed to just run locally. Now, in theory, this sounds really good for privacy because if everything stays local, you don't have to trust that some company out there is not going to monetize your chat logs that you had with your AI girlfriend. And also, you get your results much faster because you don't have to worry about any network latency, you know, sending data half a world away and then receiving it back. But this theoretical privacy can only be theoretical at best. Because all of the software that's running on these systems is proprietary and it's actually even worse than that because all of the new co-pilot plus PCs are going to have Microsoft's pluton security processor enabled on them by default. Now if you're not familiar with Microsoft's pluton, it's pretty much the same thing as the Intel management engine and if you haven't heard of that then you should read up on it. But the difference is that this security chip is connected straight to Microsoft's cloud. They literally describe it as Microsoft Pluton security processor is a chip to cloud security technology. So essentially this gives Microsoft hardware level control over every PC that has one of these chips on them. And you can bet that Microsoft will exercise that control over people's PCs either on their own or most likely at the request of the government. We've seen time and time again how governments have been crying out and even passing laws to regulate AI or ban you from using AI for specific purposes. under the excuse that it's to protect children or it's to fight terrorism. And the EU has proposed what they call chat control under the same protect the children excuse. And this law, if passed, would require devices to have client-side scanning on them in order to prevent the spread of CSAM. And the only way to effectively implement some kind of client-side scanning like this that can't be bypassed is with a hardware chip like Pluton that has its own network stack and its own dedicated resources that the end user cannot manipulate or interact with directly and that can also be used to prevent you from running certain apps like Tor or BitTorrent applications. It can prevent you from connecting to certain VPNs and it can even prevent you from dual-booting Linux in order to avoid the spyware. This is why if you really care about your privacy, you'll avoid putting any important data through a Copilot Plus PC at all costs. And I know some people are waking up to this because earlier this week on Base.Wen, a customer purchased the ThinkPad T61 that Mike refurbished on his YouTube channel, the employee Linux user. Except Windows, the AI, and all this other gobbledygook they're putting in Microsoft products if you're using a Microsoft product. It's slowing everything down. Remember what the guys up there in the township said. that the Chinese were trying to figure out how they could buy some locals to attack the other locals. Well, if that money was pulled, it means that chances are, well, there's a couple things going on here at the same time with that particular issue. I was talking with my brother about this earlier today, actually last night. What's interesting about this is either A, the pressure because of the corruption charges at the other end in Lansing with Whitmer and with the three witches, the Secretary of State, the Attorney General and the Governor, the three witches right now are under a microscope. And I'd be willing to bet that there's a massive, this is the next thing, as I said, they'd be looking at would be more misappropriations, not just ones they already got caught on. And it's very likely that, again, this whole thing from the get-go with all of the Chinese sites was inappropriately procured from more than one direction. The Fed money is tied into this and the state money is tied into this. Now that's only, well think about this, remember it was over what, $780 million that they gave to the Chinese. This particular element is $175 million in funding that was pulled. Well that's only about a quarter, not quite, but about a quarter, yeah actually it's pretty close. Remember there were four sites total. And this negates that one, but what's happening with the other three? Well, we do know that one of them, the one due south, which was supposed to be this massive, expansive, super vast, big factory complex, apparently the Chinese have whittled this down, so they kept them. In other words, they got the money, the cash is in hand, but the facilities that they have started and in fact initiated the plans for, are I think only about 1-12th the size of what they claimed they were going to build. So, I've got to do the square footage thing, but it looks by as far as scale goes, the amount of property that they acquired, the original print for what they were going to do, not a big rapids. That obviously is dead now in the Paris big rapids area. Well, yeah. Go ahead. That's not far from the... Here's what this devotion bat battery project near Big Rapids installed Potentially cancelled after the company was served with a default notice from the state the ocean will lose 175 million in tax incentives that has been approved for the project and will be forced to return 50 million They've already received at this point. It's not going to fit in the state of Michigan, said the representative Tom Kuntz, who represents the area in the state house. This just isn't a good fit. So yes, this project is dead. The initiative was billed as the largest economic development effort in northern Michigan's history, has potentially been canceled over the state. Over the been cast after the state pulled back on a $75 million worth of support Bribing companies to come here doesn't work. We were better off to garden our own companies instead of going trophy hunting for the big ribbon cutting this said coonch district one Our district went on to declare that's the income, our company, and that's had some success here. That's helped our local people. The Michigan Economic Development Corporation said in a letter to Goshen that the company had abandoned the great charter township property and that no work has occurred at the site and at least the last four months. The state has looked into clawback nearly. $24 million that has gone towards the purchase of land and $26 million that hasn't been spent. The $2.3 billion project was announced three years ago when Governor Whitmer said the facility would create more than 2,300 jobs in the Big Rapids area. are broken in the need of reform. So that means we have to take something. We have to take tax money from people who have earned it. And we have to give it to the people who have not earned it to bribe them to come here. He said the project also became a political flash point due to ties between Goshen parent company and the Chinese Communist Party. Kun says that the The state initiative manager should consider other use for the funding. There are other companies that are looking to comment, Department of Defense approved company, he said. Now we go back to the MEDC and start over so we'll see. Grunts also says he was concerned at the facility which would produce components for electric vehicle batteries. could have struggled economically without the initiative. So you gave them money with no strings attached and they're not a US company. So that money that they've got to claw back, they've got to get back from China. So by putting the brakes on the operation from that direction, people had more time to study what they were actually doing. Which is the other half of their tit being in the ringer is that now? And now they're saying they gotta quad this money back, which they gave them with no strings attached, because if they have to quad back, that means there are no strings attached. He didn't say we have legal means to get the money back. No, we're going to have to fight for it because we were stupid. When it did that, they shut down company after company after company after company, but then they also had this program they're going to create confidence. It's a confidence game. They didn't have to spend money to get money. What they did is they claimed they were going to have these two massive hubs, one in the Grand Rapids area and the other one in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In fact, Ann Arbor, Michigan, a north campus just on the very edge, eastern edge of the north campus complex for the University of Michigan. Well, guess what? At a given point, out of the blue, they froze everything that they were doing. They canceled all their construction. The site over on the west side of the state, they literally buried the construction site. Over on the east side in Ann Arbor, they were so far along that it was a completed building, they just simply walked away. It ended up with it was, you know, University of Michigan, because any building that's sitting empty, the U of M gets hold of because all they are is just one bloated, big-ass bureaucracy. But what happened with the money? It's gone. Pfizer just walked away and left the country and all of a sudden all that money that was handed out was gone. Now what came of that? We're talking hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars paid out by the state. That's why the article that Tom you've been reading there you were reading is talking about how we can't go out and try to buy people like that. Well, they weren't really going to buy them. They were just actually getting paid off because you got to figure that $740 million went over the table. How big do you think the envelopes were that were coming back under the table? The bigger the number the more corruption allowed by the system the more the greater the amount of digit that can be stolen by the pig that's screwing your state and that's exactly what was happening here. So and by the way before that it was Canada with the prison men or the prison construction operations in Michigan here guys and I've told you about this many times. When they built the regionals, they didn't use American contractors. They used Jewish operated Canadian contractors. They came in, put the buildings up, basically demanded payment, got the payment, and they actually even demanded a special bonus for being ahead of schedule. And then they got the cash in hand and ran across to Canada immediately. Well then they sent the inspectors in to go look at the buildings, which wouldn't you think you would do that first? And they found out that none of the buildings worked. The plumbing was not hooked up. The drains were filled with cement. The electrical harnesses and operational electrical was all from Mexico and constantly failed. And all of those buildings sat for almost six years. without use because they could not get them certified because they were unsafe as prison facilities. And what I mean by unsafe is you'd be standing there and all the power goes out to everything. The electric doors, the security fences, everything would just go off. The gates would pop open, the whole place would go like lost in space robot. Flop over sideways. So there's another example of your tax dollars at work by these pricks slash these parasites slash the you know hideous witches and This is just one of many Examples that have happened one after another after another after another in this state And it's always the same garbage over and over again. I mean it makes you feel good. I mean it's true. It's kind of like in Spaced Invaders. If you haven't watched Spaced Invaders, you all need to. Guys, in fact it is that time of year. We're Halloween. Go find tonight to have some fun. This weekend to have some fun. I am dead cold serious about this. Guys, you can have the children watch it. There is no sex, there is no nudity, but it is just as funny or in hell. If you have a brain and you watch this movie, pay attention. You are going to have to watch it twice to catch all of the sight gags that are actually integrated into the movie. And it was not a big budget movie. It is called Spaced Invaders. The Martians though are perfect for this bullshit era that we're in. Listen to the Martian troops, the Martian crew. Why would the vast and superior forces of Mars attack the puny and insignificant forces of Earth? And the whole crew chimes in, because we'd win! You see how that works? At least it's a real good sarcastic honesty. Why do we need to go beat up on Venezuela? Because Trump needs to make it look like we win! You see how that works? Same kind of be- and who's telling to do that? The Jews, the Israelis. His employers are telling him to do this. I can't find anywhere in his promise list. I promise I'll get us into a war by no later November. Anybody see that on the promissory list that everybody has been yapping about? Oh, Donald Trump promised. Yep, yep, I seem to recall me. We aren't gonna do that worry thingy, but apparently we're gonna do that worry thingy now. You know, so it is kind of fun to watch. I mean, I just asked a bunch of people doing the Alice's Restaurant, jumping up and down in this little chat and talking all about how, yeah, yeah, we're gonna, we're gonna go kick Venezuela's ass. And I had to ask, space elevator scene. of duty have ended. And what of the admiral himself? He has been subjected to disciplinary termination. I have assumed command. This battle group has consistently suffered the greatest casualties of any attack force and fleet. For this reason, his imperial majesty has sent me to take direct control of our attack on the Arturo system. I'll not send my boys out to Octorus with an enforcement- Oh, me too! No problem. So again, your work assignment, which is a fun work assignment this weekend, actually tonight you got plenty of time, go find Spaced Invaders. S-P-A-C-E-D, Spaced Invaders. You'll recognize all the cast. They are all people that are quite notable and very successful as actors go. So, check it out, it's Spaced Invaders. And as a matter of fact, we're very much like the Martians right now. Like you said, we gotta go, we gotta get out there and look like we're doing something. We got ourselves... It used to be free to watch on YouTube, Dad, but of course it's Halloween, so it's buyer rent on YouTube. But you can't find it there. Runtime is an hour, 40 minutes and 20 seconds for the whole region. And it's actually... Yeah, you'll find all kinds of sound bites. And Corporal Pez is my inspiration. Corporal Pez. Corporal Pez. And, Corporal Pez and his wisdom are to be noted. The big thing here again is that it's very symptomatic of the situation the country has been in for quite some time. But, what is fascinating is that There wasn't, you know, like six months ago, we were all told that Venezuela was the scourge of America and the reason that we just, we'd have to go to war for something. Did I miss something here? Last year at this time was, did Donald Trump step up and say, well, I've become president of the Niner States, the Niner States, whatever it is, Niner States. Then we're going to go get rid of the problem of Venezuela. Because Venezuela is the problem. That's what we got to go do. We got to go get Venezuela. Well, I don't think I recall him saying that though, but I could be wrong. I'm probably stupid. What can I say? I did find a free to watch version of Space Invaders from 1990. It is on YouTube. It is, it's not real fancy, but it has, like I said, you gotta pay attention to what's happening in each scene. And I will give you a little, I'll wait, maybe, no, I'll do it. Pay attention to the heads of the Martians. Look at their foreheads. Remember, there's, well, of course, it's obvious what they do look like. The girl says it in the movie. Pay attention to what the girl says. about them. She makes a little derogatory comment and it's correct but the fact is that again the whole thing has all kinds of imagery through it that is just the...wait a minute, I didn't see that the first time. But it's fun to watch anyway and again it's popcorn which is a good weekend for popcorn. We're getting into the fall, we are in the fall and headed towards Halloween. It's a Halloween oriented movie And remember again, this is a classic, oh I'm sorry, this is what planetary siege weapons are all about. There we go. Corporal Trump! What? Why don't you see if we can get across? Let's go around! Corporal Trump. So anyway, it should be interesting. Well, we are almost at the top and we are finished for the weekend, but we should say for the week, work week, but we are not finished for the weekend. Go ahead, call her, jump in there. Is this movie something like Star Wars? I've never seen it before. It's a comedy. You will like it. It's Spaced Invaders. Go find it and watch it. It is cool. Seriously, you'll recognize all of the main characters in the movie. You'll know you've seen them in other movies. This was actually a little B movie that was made. I'm sure they had a lot of fun. I can just call it for people. Think of worse and wells, war of the worlds, how some people mistook the radio transmission as a real invasion, except it's the Martians who are confused. Right, the Martians didn't figure it out. That'll help. Anyway, so it's it is they did make a follow-up movie, but I've not been able to find it. There is a Spaced Invaders 2 that was done. It sounds to me like it was done as an audio track, an audio piece. I have not found out anymore, but by the time we're done here this weekend, I probably will. Again, 1990 is when the original was done, so it's been quite some time. Again, take the time, check out and give likes and thumbs up to whoever posted it because they got a sense of humor, okay? At least they're, you know, they're having fun. Half the world, half the world's problem is not having fun. Remember, we shall sing as we slay.
