They have had one lower complete or another. Now, this requires an FFL. But they have had one lower or another for about $100 apiece. And, pretty good price. Again, if you don't want to mess with putting a gun together, and I understand some people aren't as confident about that as, you know, maybe you should be, but that's okay. We're going to be happy with you doing whatever you can do to arm yourself. And, guess what? There are a whole lot of really cool solutions out there, and Palmetto is one of them. In addition to that, magazines, don't forget, lots of magazines. One good thing about the 1911 is you have over 110 years of spare parts laying around. They usually give you a heads up on that when you're looking at the weapon to begin with. And if not, you should do a little checking anyway. It's not my job any way to, you know, dictate anything, but I could recommend, and sometimes highly recommend, and everybody should have a 1911. I mean, after all, they're quite affordable. That's the only thing you can really do. Keeping the person indoors if that's sensitive is tedious, but it is a solution. Well that's exactly what US gun manufacturers were facing until just now when the Supreme Court stepped in with a unanimous 9-0 decision and slammed the door shut on a dangerous international overreach attempt. Absolutely asinine. The argument was that US gun makers knew their products would be trafficked into Mexico and did nothing to stop it. Now let's be clear, these manufacturers sold firearms lawfully under strict federal and state regulations. They did not sell them to cartels. They did not smuggle weapons across the border. Criminals did that. ATF did that. And yet Mexico wanted to hold law-abiding US companies accountable for criminal acts in another country committed by third parties. It's one of the most aggressive legal attempts to undermine gun rights and American sovereignty in recent memory. So how did Mexico even hope to make this stick in an American court? Well, they tried to punch through the Protection of Lawful Commerce and Arms Act or PLACO or the PLCAA. This law was passed in 2005 signed by George Bush and it protects gun manufacturers from being held liable when people misuse their products and criminal acts. It's the same kind of protection other industries have, like automakers not being sued when someone uses a car in a drunk driving incident or a car bombing. The Mexico argued that the PLCAA didn't apply to foreign harm caused by U.S. made guns. Okay, and here's where it gets wild. A federal judge initially dismissed the lawsuit, but the anti-gun, anti-American First Circuit Court of Appeals shockingly reversed that decision, saying the case could move forward. That sent chills through the entire firearms industry at the time, as well as the Second Amendment community. If allowed to proceed, this case could have opened the floodgates for foreign governments, activist judges, and anti-gun non-government organizations to sue American gun makers out of existence. That was the entire goal here. But today, the United States Supreme Court stepped in and delivered a major win for the Second Amendment and American firearm manufacturers. In a powerful order, the court vacated the First Circus decision and told the lower court to dismiss Mexico's lawsuit. In plain English, they told the First Circuit, you got it wrong, Placa does apply, case closed. I mean, Justice Elena Kagan wrote the decision for the court here, and she's no friend of the Second Amendment. And she said, the kinds of allegations Mexico makes cannot satisfy the demands of the statute's predicate exemption. She added, Mexico's complaint, for the reasons given, does not plausibly allege such aiding and abetting. So this suit remains subject to Placa's general bar. An action cannot be brought against a manufacturer if, like Mexico's, it is founded on a third party's criminal use of the company's product. That's big, coming from Kagan, believe me guys and gals. This wasn't just a procedural win, it was a reaffirmation of Placa and a smackdown to the law fair tactics meant to bankrupt the firearms industry. And let's not forget, groups like Brady and Everytown were backing this Mexican lawsuit. To them, this wasn't about justice, it was about weaponizing the courts to attack our rights. This ruling sends a clear message to activist judges, to international bureaucrats, and to gun control extremists. America's Second Amendment is not up for global negotiation. You don't get to bypass Congress and rewrite our laws from foreign courtrooms. And had the Supreme Court not acted, we would be looking at scenarios where gun manufacturers might have pulled out of civilian markets altogether out of fear of endless litigation, or spiraling prices from increased liability costs, or even, eventually, fewer companies willing to make firearms at all. Which, of course, is exactly what anti-gunners wanted here. The high court's intervention upholds the right of Americans to lawfully purchase and own firearms without punishing manufacturers for crimes that they didn't commit. This is about due process, jurisdiction, and most importantly, preserving a lawful industry from being destroyed by politics masquerading as justice. So here's the bottom line folks, this wasn't just a win for gun companies, it was a win for every gun owner in America. Because if they can sue the manufacturer out of existence, they don't even need to ban guns, they just make them impossible to get. Now we need to stay vigilant here. Lawfare is the new battlefield. Whether it's the ATF changing rules on a whim or foreign governments Filing billion dollar lawsuits, the goal is always the same, to strip you and me of our rights by any means necessary. Again, with the giggles and laughs of the demikins and the rhinos, who have been profiting by stealing tax money from us for far too long, Musk, of course, is, you know, the argument, it's interesting, after the fact, all of a sudden, people were very quickly coached. They did not think a lot of this stuff up themselves. As I said, the new control media is the social media arm that's been bought. That's why there's no difference between the way that you have the Revlon commercial where everybody is repeating, repeating, repeating, repeating the same words. It took a flick of a switch and the Musk letter opener, F2, Trumpet, it worked both ways. But the fact that you're trying to keep your ducks in a row and your allies together Anybody with a brain would know you take care of your own people, period. Okay, we're in for around two of these storms here in the panhandle of Texas. There's another one on the north side of Lubbock. But severe thunderstorm warming possible tornado warning and looking out for flash flooding and power outage. So I'm going to get that out on the year now. If you lose us, that's probably why. Very good. And again, interestingly enough, guys, if you do a quick search, there's a couple of the television stations that have actual live feeds of the Lubbock area. So in fact, one of the cameras is located in one of the primary transmitter towers. And we'll show you the storm quite accurately from ground level, a little higher, a little elevation, but still. cross ground horizontally across the terrain rather than just a satellite map. So give you a better feel for how bad this has gotten. So the area affected, they do have drainage, but, uh, uh, Lubbock is, is not that roly-poly, okay, and there's still not a whole lot of places for the water to go, number one. Number two, we gotta remember something. If you're a dot on the map in Texas, there's water there. And in order for water to be there, the aquifers have to be filled. In order for the aquifers to be filled, in other words, the water below the surface, the water has to get to the ground. And usually it's quite dynamic because West Texas is the breath of a desert. Maybe it isn't a desert, but it's the breath of a desert. It's that close. And it's right next to New Mexico, which has desert. So, that's one of the reasons we're seeing dynamic cyclic weather in that area right now, so pay attention. And again, if you do lose this, it'll be because probably you've got power loss in the area. This is sounding more like the cycle, the weather cycle from, I think, what was it, 64, 65, right around there. For Lubbock, there's actually some interesting stuff you can pull up on the subject that It's been in YouTube for probably about 12, 14 years I was looking at it last night. So again, beware, Ed, you make the judgment call if you have to just step, step away. Just keep that in mind. Don't hesitate. Don't wait. Don't tell me. I don't need to know. We'll find out after the fact once you're in a secure place. You do what you can to get out of whatever is maybe in the way of trouble. Anyway, we are headed over to the bottom. Do we have a caller? Go to YouTube and search for military bands in number 9 followed by MM. You'll find it. What was interesting was they were comparing the 9 to the 10mm. They also said they looked at the 5.7x28 cartridge. The thing is that's a proven round because Number one, the SS-109 cartridge is armor piercing. Number two is it comes out of the handgun at 2,000 feet per second. And it doesn't kick. That's why they're looking at it. I thought I'd mention that over. Interesting. Well, the 5.7 is in line with the Flechette gun projects that were done in the beginning of the 1960s. It's the closest to that idea that anybody has come up with. And it's interesting that it's again, it's a micro bottleneck mini assault rifle cartridge, is basically what they've done. The projectile, again, there is a military variant we can't get that they're not supposed to sell to us peasants. So it would be an interesting cooperative round. I don't know if I'd want it as my primary round, but it definitely works. Go ahead, jump in there. Well, yeah, I lucked out a long time ago when They're not there's a lot of itself in the country, but they're not out shipping in with agreement with the DOJ Except they made a bunch of Made a bunch of ammunition and packaged in 2,200 rounds per ammo can and the agreement was they would not ship any 2,000 round ammo cans that's our rural country They made all that for chicken out and canceled the order and he got put on I'm a boat and team over here. And by the way, that SS-190 round blacktip also has an armor piercing incendiary. I shot one of those in the bank out of the handgun. Had to smoke for like five minutes over. Armor piercing incendiary. Well, at least somebody came up with a cocktail. Yeah, that would be rather fun. That would be cool. The big thing here again is The 10 millimeter coming out of the work would work and everybody just automatically dumping into it. That's what gets me It's like 40 calibers out there the latest propaganda with 40 cal Has been that it's too difficult to handle now every time I hear that I have a problem because It was all of the same promotional institutions that told you everybody had to go over to 40 cal because it was the next best thing to slice white bread and it was so much better than 45 and it was so much better than 9 millimeter. Now when that competition was going on the 10 was there. So other than the fact that they're trying to pick something that they figure if they build it there won't be as much of it in our hands or they can cut it off. That's why the choices they're looking at right now You don't change in the middle of, but I guess we haven't kicked off on the ground war in America yet, but the idea that they're moving the way they are is rather interesting. It smells of the Colonial Arms Issue Program where you make sure the peasants don't have what you have. That's why we got this new 6.8 and that's why we're looking at another cartridge that's it's popular but it's not it's not out there like the other standard calibers are and It's interesting because 10 millimeter if they do go there that's not really tough for us to handle 10 mil and 40 cal Boats the same all we got to do is work out our loading spec. We already have loading specs. We don't have to work any day out So if you we can make that happen very quickly go ahead Yeah, you're exactly right because right now if you dial 9-1-1 for resupply, you're going to get 9mm and you're going to get 762 over. Right. And again, well, especially with the type that are being promoted right now and given priority, it's going to be interesting to see how many of these departments are going to have, you know, actually quite a mish-mish. What I mean by that is that we don't quite have everybody switched out of 40 caliber. There's still a lot of departments that can't afford to change. Also, they're hanging onto them because they do feel that the round works. So the propaganda to try and get everybody to switch over just to spend money, that's not working. The only thing they could do is be more public or open with the idea that they need to standardize on account of chambering that they can then turn around and restrict. Because it's a full deal. Good. Go ahead, jump in there, please. Yeah, a lot of face departments went with 40 and gone back to the nine. These are ones I know across the country. Because Danny's Bear Aware is that and the other. And they're going back to nine. Of course, there was a reason, you know, the feds got the 40 Smith and Wesson. Because, oh, that 10 millimeter sticks too much. That's why the 40 Smith and Wesson got the nickname of 40 Short and Wesson over. Well, again, my point is that because they went that way, and of course it was also propaganda in the publications out there, that they pushed everybody away from the 10 and to the 40 Smith and Wesson route. I think they could go back to your vaulters myself. Well, you could still use any caliber or anything, any chambering you want with a revolver. In fact, I noticed recently here that there's a bunch of Ruger offerings in 9mm revolver again. Who bought those years ago were the Israelis. So I'm curious about what's going on with that. There's just a pop-up here in the last couple of days where they're offering the half the half moons and everything else for them. Well, it'll also teach them trigger discipline too because then they won't have a lot of rounds going that can go down fields that only allow six. Right. Well, people have a tendency to aim when they realize that they can't spray and pray. Right. I know that's one of the things that despite anybody arguing otherwise has been pretty well proven. The number of rounds per hit with revolvers is much higher A number of rounds fired to again a number of hits accomplished. The revolvers typically beat out the semi-automatic pistols every time. When they went to semi-automatic pistols, typically at least an entire magazine dump takes place with the shooter. We've seen this, you can see it in a million videos, over and over and over and over and over again. Remember the acorn guy, remember the acorn cop? You know the acorn falls on his on his own car and he starts lacing up and starts popping up Yeah, start shooting at the guy that's in the car You're handcuffed you're in the asset of a vehicle and all of a sudden somebody's wailing away and you realize it's the guy that puts you in handcuffs Can you imagine what that's like? What do you do you can't go anywhere And the bastard is shouting at you, I mean the fruit loop, that doesn't have a clue. I mean this is the whole thing about quality of product that we've got out there right now. So to be quite honest, I don't think you're going to fix much of that problem no matter what. That's just, that's been an issue that's been in conversation for as long as I've been alive about, you know, again, just... I have one real world report by the way. Go ahead please. On the 5.7, the SS-198 was the one we still, we can't get to anymore either, and it was not a repair sink supposedly. I had a maggot at 20 rounds and he took a friend's house and let him shoot it. His son had an old junk pickup sitting after it. He was going to junk out about 60 meters off of him. My friend used to shoot the train, also from military aiming, and so he went a little low when he shot the driver's door at the left side of the truck, and they went in and out of the door, through to the seat reports, through the center console, through the right side seat, two seat reports, and out the other door, just so you know over. Oh, one thing about that round, it's a light rifle round. I mean, that's what I argued. Well, okay, let me correct. Let's fix this. It's already out there in a submachine gun. You have the MP7, which is actually, it's got some heartburn problems. There's people whining, not whining, they're correctly complaining about certain issues with the weapon. But that's an example of a micro assault weapon, or real assault weapon. in the mode that would be very useful for support personnel. One of the arguments about the needle guns, or again, the flechette guns, is that they are not effective to extreme range, although they did get pretty good range out of them, about 300 yards. The problem is dispersal is pretty wide but they were a high select fire weapon and the idea was a light projectile, in this case more again just like it says, flechette, rather than a conventional projectile like you see in the 5.7, they went longer with the bullet but still very lightweight, very lightweight case and they were successful and then they just made the program disappear. But the idea was that if you were an artilleryman, a vehicle operator, anybody that was in a support situation, don't get a chance to really work with your weapon that much. And a volume fire weapon of this type would put devastating, suppressive fire on a target. Now, needless to say, they were also trying to push this towards the infantry. I can't see it replacing every weapon out there, but I could see that it would be useful. There is no gun that can't be given a task. In this case, it would be interesting to see where they try to go with it. Giving it to the troops as a primary infantry weapon? No. Giving it to them as a personal defense weapon? Sure. That would work. That would be something you can apply. So we'll see how this works. The 10 mil is, I'd be willing to bet they're leaning more towards the 10, but they'll still have that 5.7, one of the places it could go, air crewmen. After all, we already issued MP5s. Yeah, think about it. The only problem is the MP5s. Go ahead. When I was in Vietnam, using my 2.75-folded funeral rocket off the helicopter, we wrapped up with new flichet ones. And we were doing supply on the kernel for CNC. And we went in against these bad guys and dumped those eddies. What's wrong with your rockets? They're blowing up halfway there. That's when the red explosive popped out and threw the Floshetts out. And we landed. He found guys nailed to trees. Oh, yeah. No, it was one thing. Yeah, Mr. Floshette is your friend if you're the person who's defen- you know, you're using it. Not so much if you're the person that's been used on. And you don't hear anything about an application of them right now, which I think is interesting. Again, will they turn back to that if we get into a genuine conflict? Probably. I think that that's one of those, all those ideas will be rediscovered as the conflict develops. I don't know that it's not, I doubt that it's been used in most recent times, but you know, well, where else a Flushet round would be handy. If put into a more economical package, and it could be, the Flushet would be great for anti-drone air defense at the short and intermediate weight range. Think about it, so the ultimate shotgun shell. And would there be anything flying that could actually stop what you'd be shooting them with? If it did, we don't care because remember it's the kinetic energy strike and how many different hits with a focused flechette air defense shell or multiple. It'd be like, again, how could you escape? As it is, we already know what happens if you're infantry on the ground. Now, it doesn't necessarily kill you. I mean, you can get hit with a lot of flechette, but it's still the idea that it's the amount of damage that's done because typically, depending on which flechette, there's several different models that were built. The rate of tumble is different, the penetration before tumble is different, but the big thing just like the Flechette that they were talking about using as a rifle is that in tests they were taking what they call the meat test subjects, livestock carcasses, and they literally were turning the meat into cotton candy. So, you figure it out. You know, 30 round magazine and they're going... It didn't sound like a minigun. I've seen some of the videos years ago that I don't know where they've gone, but they were showing some of the testing with them. There were four gun ideas at the time and all of them worked and then they made them disappear. The Flechette, the Naval boarding double tube magazine fed shotgun, that worked too. and the PAWS, P-A-W-S, look that gun up, P-A-W-S. The PAWS gun, yeah, all of these had phenomenal success. But in the PAWS, the concept behind the PAWS was that it's World War III and a half headed towards World War IV. Everything got nuked, or at least a lot of us did. What can we build if we have to build something that will work? And the PAWS gun was taking parts from several different weapons and building a light rifle, a rifle that worked exceptionally well. And it was crude. It's a Sten gun of the 5.56 rifles, except it's square tubing. In fact, to be quite honest, again, many guns that have come up in the past have been spin-offs of all that development. Remember the original Bushmaster bullpups that came out years ago? Remember the Square Receiver Bushmaster Bullpups? Have you ever seen one? Not putting you on the... Uh oh, did we lose you? I don't want to lose the... No, they were nice. They were nice. Well, did you ever notice what they were? You know what, personally, I worked in operations. You ever looked at door closers, stock, emergency door slippers? I want you to go look at one and then take a look at the hull. I'm dead cold serious. I actually pointed out to somebody and said, you do realize we could probably make this into that rifle. And we throw these out constantly. We scrap them out constantly because the students beat the hell out of them. And everything you need for the receiver for that Bushmaster bullpup is right there. Except obviously the guts. I mean, you're going to need your maker bowl, whatever. But it's just the idea that these are, everybody has pulled, remember the double magazine feed tube, as I pointed out, Kel-Tec and the other company, whatever their name is, I can't recall off the top of my head. Remember, two companies have made dual magazine feed. Everybody goes, oh, it's so innovative. Yeah, the Navy did it back in the 60s. And the Fluschette rounds were another one, of course. And then the other was the stackable compression rounds. Remember, oh, come on, what was it, ACMAT or whatever? And the idea behind this is, why build a whole new weapon? Or if we do build a whole new weapon, how about we make it in the 7.62x51 NATO anyway? And these were Polymer ensconced, multi-stack, conical that allowed for you when you fired one round out of the 308 it would spit. I've seen three shots, four shots, and five shots and I kicked myself in the ass because at the Light Guard armory on 8 Mile Road in Detroit this kind of stuff would pop up with the R&D people on a regular basis. There was a guy that had And this is why I know because they had them in hand and Sergeant Ellsworth, one of my Ordnance People, Larry Ellsworth, did buy a quantity of them just so we could figure out what they were doing. And what's fascinating is they actually had a little capping charge. The conical was slightly larger than the bore. And the idea behind this is that it would blossom out. It had a little subcharge underneath each projectile, each conical. And so it kind of separated, and three rounds were going down the tube simultaneously. When it left, you had a three-round burst out of a single round, or a four-round, or a five-round burst. What they were trying to determine when they did the original test was what would be optimal. If I could fire five conicals out of one projectile, one case. Then I've got five rounds going down range that were approximately, that were heavier than a 5.56 lighter than a 7.62 bullet. You know, somewhere in between. Copper jacket with a tungsten sheath on the inside that actually somehow stayed to form whatever the dimension of the final caliber was that they chose. And that was another plant project. It worked completely, everything functioned. Some people tried to pick the project up and realized how god-awful expensive it was to do it from scratch. But that's another one of those things that, yeah, we can do it. It's gone. Goodbye. What project? Who? Where? What money? What money did we spend? I don't know how much we spent on that project, but somebody got it. You know what I mean? I can't recall that moment, thank you Senator. Well again, it's one of those things that what really gets me is I should have kept, the thing is they were kept by us, but they were kept by another person and he's passed away. And his collection, I know where it is, but we don't have it in hand. Because these are things that used to pop out, it used to be that they, guys, they didn't have all this anal retentive piss in your pants, government selling stuff, and plus a lot of the reason that the stuff was sold sideways is because it was privately produced. So a lot of guys, people, well, yo, how could you get that? It's real easy. The people that produced it produced it under basically an in-shop research project, and the government bought what it wanted, but they made what they wanted and kept it. And then when they decided they didn't want to keep it, they just sold it sideways into the market. So we got to see a lot of really neat and innovative ideas that worked, but for whatever reason, just, well, no, we can make regular bullets cheaper, so let's just go with more pew pew. We'll just pull the trigger more times, or we'll let the sear release so many more rounds before we release and let the full auto stop. Makes sense. But if the 5.7, the 5.7 would be, you know, you're in aviation. Think about it. They're issuing How long has it been? Let's see. Black Hawk Down was how many years ago, guys? Black Hawk Down. How many years has that been? That's the 80s, right? That embarrassed me. Well, in the 80s they were issuing the MP5 to the pilots overseas. The MP5 was the personal defense guns instead of a CAR 15. So, again, would it be a big deal to affirm the issue of 5.7? Well, the argument, they would get a full-powered... think about the difference. Instead of a 9mm, they'd get a more powerful round that has greater penetration, but equitable knockdown power to a 5.56. It is kind of like the idea of the original Bushmaster pistol, which remember the oysters show you that image. Line drawing where the guy is like a crew chief on a helicopter and he is hanging out the door and he has the Bushmaster pistol in his right arm, laying on his right arm with a bullet, spraying out the top eject. It was the idea that that would be an optimal weapon to give pilots or air crewmen a comparable amount of firepower. to a team leader on the ground with a Car-15. So it makes sense. I mean, it would make sense now. I could see this because pilots aren't supposed to be infantrymen, but if they get in trouble, they're going to be dealing with a lot of infantrymen. They're right. They just kind of come out of nowhere, everywhere, all at once. And they always want to try and kill you. It's so embarrassing. They want to get all over your book. So anyway, again, I appreciate the heads up on that. Didn't you have a source for a 308 Sabo for the shit round at one time? Yes, forgive me, they're out of up in the Idaho corridor up there, Idaho slash Utah, and I just had their card in my hand but I don't have it here, it's in the card file. I want to say, I think they did. I think you did 4,200 feet per second out of the barrel too. Yes. Oh yeah. We could push 5,000, a little under 5,000, absolutely. In fact, if you look at, and I'll tell you what's really cool about those, it's JD, I want to say kick me if I'm wrong. I think it's JDSales. JDSales. I think if you go JDSales.com. They make 50 caliber, they were going to make 338 caliber for the 338 Lapua, which would go from 338 to 30 caliber. And they were doing 30 caliber with a 556 cup. And yes, if you look at equipping for the new old order, part two, and go to the front of the video when I'm pointing out the stuff at the table. If you look, you'll notice there's a Tokarev pistol there. If you look, I've also pointed out what's in the magazine, in that Tokarev pistol magazine. It's a discarding Sabo with a 50 grain Spitzer. And we were pushing, out of that pistol, we were pushing 2,600 feet per second with no significant cup pressure. In fact, I think they took it higher. So again, what you're doing is taking a bottleneck cartridge, which is 30 caliber, putting a 30 caliber discarding Sable cup with a 50 grain bullet. We couldn't do a 5.56 out of the Tokarev. Forgive me, we couldn't do the standard 5.56 because of length. Although the cups are designed to take a Sierra Boat Tail projectile. You can get them both ways. You can get them with a Sierra Boat Tail or you can get them with a Spitzer. In this case, we had, unfortunately, here's the thing, we had to use the Spitzer, but it was a Sierra Boat Tail cup. And it came from JD sales. It came from them. I'm sure if I've been, you know, my lumber yard is working right here, okay? So, that's how far back, because remember when we did American Peril and remember when we did the equipping videos, that's in the 90s, guys. And again, you could take any 30 caliber cartridge and actually use that Sabo in it. They have all the spec data on their page. So guys, if you have any questions, well what about like 30 caliber, go in the blank, whatever. Yep, it's all there. And if it isn't there, they have the math tables to be able to help you with odd rounds, odd cartridges that, you know, normally people wouldn't be using that are still out there. Go ahead. Yeah, you know, we talked about pushing that 223 out at speed. Back in 1973, we had about an intensive bureau investigation. We were both 311, 223. And he loaded a bunch of really hot ones. They were chronoing out at the 55 rain that we saw we had today. They were chronoing out at 42 feet per second. And it was a lot of fun in the range. We went out there one Sunday morning, foggy as all get out. I mean, just flat, nasty, foggy. And we could pretty well tell where the targets were, because they had a board walking down the range, you know. We were shooting. And nothing touched the target. We found out those rounds were disintegrating into fog at that speed. Now, that's an interesting question, because remember we've talked about this, too. with regard to degradation with atmosphere. So that's an interesting question. Were you, well you weren't doing anything special, you were loading into a standard case, right? Correct. Okay, good, good. We found about 4,200. We found little bits of copper there when the program went out. About two thirds of the way down there, so this is speckles of copper. See, that's one of the problems again, too, which we discussed is with going into the higher velocities, we started by using 4140 chromoly steel, and we also used drill rod to make projectiles. Drill rod's available, and again, it works for what it were. Actually, what you do is you can buy it in proper dimension if you want to make, if you buy drill rod, you can buy it in the proper spec. you know, to match up with the cup. And then all you're doing is you put it in a lathe and you create the Sierra boat tail if you're using the Sierra cup for the discarding Sabo. But in this case, this is the problem. It's the same thing they had, the issue they were having with 50-cal is to stabilize and to center the more ballistically aggressive loads, remember the 50-caliber shooter association members we had up. You had to go to higher metals. You go to higher metals though, what happens next? You start wearing the barrel down faster, which is exactly what happened. They were going with any, for instance, copper or bronze. In fact, we went right up through the metal chart, by what I recall. Eventually, yeah, it's like, well, that doesn't work, let's try this. But the problem is that then you get back to everything that the Germans learned in World War II. They came up with a number of early war weapons that were phenomenal, but there's either two things, either barrel wear or bullet cost, projectile cost. Remember, they had a tungsten carbide squeeze bore and worked flawlessly. It had a bit of an issue with barrel wear, but the problem is that the tungsten carbide for the penetrator and for the sheath were so expensive that they felt it was not a value for the cost for the round, for the end result with the product. It worked. It put a hole in whatever you want it to every time, but it was cost prohibitive to be able to deploy. And one of the reasons everybody needs to understand something when we say cost prohibitive, here's the problem. For every bullet you get to the troop, how many do you lose that sink to the bottom of the ocean with that latest ship that was sunk? How many rounds do you lose? See, this is part of the factor of loss, which is part of the attrition issue that people don't like to talk about with combat situations. Well, that combined with overall expenditure priority of materials because the material you're using may serve another component of your defense industry more efficiently, more effectively. And so the idea was cool, it worked, but it doesn't apply. This is what I see coming with the new 6.8 round because you know what they're charging us for? specialized round, they just finally came out with a number. You know what, $11 a round. You know what, I was going to say six. They just quoted it. I looked at it and I said, you got to be, somebody saw us coming. But I don't, okay, I'm going to say something. I'm not delusional about what we can build. The problem, and this was the argument decades ago, I've read everything on Frankfort Arsenal. And one of the problems you've got is, yeah, sure we can build it, but for what we're building and for what it costs, what are you gonna do with it? And how many can you afford? And if you can't afford any, I mean, okay, let's say right now they've got the 6.8 training round, and that basically is now being cranked out at Lake City Arsenal right now. Well, I don't know who's building the 6.8 specialized round because supposedly for you and me When we get into the field someone's going to show up with a whole truckload of the specialized 6.8 Now do you really think they're going to show up with a truckload of that? Isn't it costly? How much does it cost for a box of 6.8 in standard FMJ? I don't know. They didn't give me the quote on that. But I'll guarantee I can probably, government costs, I can probably get two boxes of 6.8 ball for the price of one of these specialized rounds. Now, I can see real quick, especially with the bean counters and the OiBoys running our government, That what are we going to spend it on this muxwah? What the hell? Why are we doing this? Well listen, we can charge them, but we'll send them the ball ammo. They're going to die anyway. They won't know. What the hell? I can see that one coming. Because again, the cost prohibitive... Well, okay, let me give you an example. There's another version of this. Anybody remember we've got those new stealth ships we were supposed to build? And they started building them? Okay, do you know what the cost per ship to load them to capacity with the weapons they're supposed to carry is? It's it's what four times the cost of the ship So none of the none of the ships that they did built they were supposed to what build 20 They've only built three four or five whatever they're behind program on it and top everything else Well, none of them are loaded. I think they're at like 20% capacity for operational field use, you know for at sea service Why? Because they can't afford to load them up. Well it's really super fantastic and when one bomb hits it and it goes to the bottom, you just sent most of your arsenal with it to Davy Jones, right? Is that what you're telling me? And the cost, your cost in the expenditures is outrageous. See that's the problem with the balance here. Again, give me five billion rounds of ball 308, but let's do it this way. Let's do what government used to do. Let's make the new 7.62x51 improved because we could. And if we did that, we don't need the 6.8 round. But if they did that, they wouldn't be completely reconfiguring our arsenal at a time when it looks like we're going to be going to war. This is not the time when you want to be changing out systems. Another thing I'd like to see happen with this program, and I guarantee they didn't really do it, give me an AR-10 with all the bells and whistles that you think I'd need. Let's match it up again with this new spear rifle. I'll bet you that AR-10 will do everything that spear will. For an occupied chance for the price of one of the other rifles. This is from Meet the New Black Panther, and I will let the video describe to you what's going on in the world of comic books right now with the overcorrecting that they are doing. So here we go. Oh, it looks like Christopher Priest is back running Black Panther. I'm going to have to take a look at... Oh. Oh. Oh my God. Well, I'm fucking insane. Right, that's not gonna happen. No, I don't know what we're doing. I don't know what's going on. Wait, wait, wait. Okay, okay, right, okay, okay. Look at the screen and meet the new Black Panther. Know your eyes ain't mistaken. He is white. Very white. Leave it to Christopher Priest and his co-writer Joe Quesada to make this meme a reality. just drink it in, in all its ironic magnificence. I didn't even know this book was coming out. I just saw it at the comic shop and saw Priest's name was on it, and that was enough. It's been a hot minute since he wrote Black Panther, but from what I remember, his run was good, so I was in. What I didn't expect was the ending. He's got a white tie. Last time I checked, T'Challa's entire bloodline was African, so he might want to do a DNA test. I mean, who's the baby's mama? Billy Jean? Now, for all those people who bitch and moan about legacy characters like Miles Morales and people not seeing their replacements as a definitive version of the character, it's gonna be real hard to hear them yip yap in that bullshit with that irony dick in their mouth, cause I'm pretty sure none of them will ever consider this guy to be Black Panther. Honestly, I could laugh about this for hours, but seriously, the story is actually good. The book is called Marvel Knights, The World to Come. It's set in the future and jumps around the events proceeding to Chella's death. It's not exactly the most linear story, so if flashback time jumps bother you, you might not like it. However, if you like Tarantino style, especially in Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction, it's in a similar vein. There's a Gru-Line event where the Dora Milaje show up at some camp to collect this old man. It's not clear who he is, my guess is Killmonger, but he tells us a story leading up to current day. Eight years before the world to come, the chalice son Kitoma challenges him for the crown. However, by this point, the king no longer has any real political power. Wakanda is run by a parliament, but equality isn't based around individuals, but instead the different trods, which winds up giving the clerics a great deal of power. The only thing the king really needs to do is produce an heir. Flash back to nearly 30 years before the world to come, and D'Challa goes back to the states to propose again to his former fiancé Monica Lynn. She ends up accepting, but when she comes to Wakanda, she's met with the Shrieth Storm, who apparently gets killed in the race war. And that's just dropped in with no explanation. But I'm sure priests will get to it. When we last see Monica, she's pregnant, and then we go back to the fight between T'Challa and Katoma, where the latter beats T'Challa, takes off his mask, and reveals he is very white. Now, in fairness, my Black Panther knowledge is not that great, so I had to look up info about Monica, because from what little I remember, she wasn't mixed, and from what I found, that appears to be true, so Katoma is probably not her son. Fortunately, in a rare instance of usefulness, Rich Johnson from Bleeding Cool provided an interesting theory. Maybe Katoma is the son of Nicole Adams. T'Challa dated her for a while, got some flack over being in an interracial relationship, and broke up shortly afterwards. Keep in mind, Ned's story arc came out in the 70s. We were in a increased Black Panther run, Nicole gets killed when Malice tries to kill Monica. I didn't get the entire run when increased wrote Black Panther, so I don't remember any of that. However, Rich Johnston runs with the theory that Tacoma is Nicole's son, and uses the cover for issue 3 as proof. As you can see, on the left there's T'Challa and a black kid, probably Monica's son, and on the right there's T'Challa and a white kid, presumably Katoma. If Rich is right, then I expect the black son to show up at some point to contest the crown and take the Black Panther mantle. But for the moment, this white boy is Black Panther. And even if he loses his spot, based on the rules of the dipshits who pretend to be comic book fans, his 15 minutes of fame still count as him being THE Black Panther. Kind of like how they count Stephanie Brown being Robin on the same level as Dick, Jason, Tim, and Damian, even though she was only Robin canonically for a few weeks. They can't have it both ways. They can't have it both ways. If Stephanie Brown and Miles Morales count, then Katoma is just as much Black Panther as T'Chaka, T'Challa, and Shuri. In short, Now, apparently Kasada and Priest had this idea for years, and Kasada planned on drawing it, but ended up bringing in Richard Eisenhoff, who does a great job. Like I said, the story is really good. You don't have to read Priest's run for it to make sense. I know because I didn't read all of it and I could follow the story just fine, but I'm betting reading the run would help. Marvel put out a two-part omnibus collection of it a few years ago. You'll probably have to search for it. I doubt it's still in regular print. Although they might bring it back now that this miniseries is out. If you can find them, get them. Because Christopher Priest's run is arguably the best Black Panther run. And it looks like this miniseries is shaping up to be pretty damn good itself. But, what do I know? Well, I know this. Alright, so there we go. He gets on to people being race swept all the time, especially the weeshin' of redheads in comics. If you're a red-headed white girl and you're in the comics, they're trying to delete your character. But yeah, the new Black Panther is white. Oh my god, they are freaking out. On the left side, it's hilarious. Calling bloody murder, saying that the comic book writer is a racist, all this other fun stuff. But the key thing is, none of them that are claiming all this stuff to know everything about comics know the writer, the writer who wrote the Black Panthers being a white guy now is black. So yeah, fun. Overcorrecting, they're letting storylines come out that otherwise they wouldn't have let out in the last couple of years. But like I said, this is the overcorrecting thing. They're just trying to throw everything out. Look, we're different now. We're different now. It will be interesting to see what happens with the Disney owned, because Marvel is owned by Disney, it's a Disney owned product. It will be interesting to see how long they keep this rung going like this with this character. Just more interesting stuff out there. Peter Pascale is in the Fantastic Four movie and he's been yapping his head off like, oh, Zegler was beforehand talking bad about stuff and trying to push left-wing politics from his position as an actor. So that's gonna probably do damage to the Fantastic Four movie. They're just in trouble all around if you haven't been following that stuff. It's another side of the battle that is just continuing to go on and spiral down and back. There have been some winds and stuff in that area too, but The more they do, the more they prove to people who are saying, hey, look at this right, because once something happens like this where it flips it, it's like, oh my god. Now you get to hear their side of the argument where it sounds like they agree with us, but it's only when it's a black character can you not change them like that. It's terrible. Anyway, let's see. If you guys have, that's another thing you haven't been following. You're not going to own anything. You're just going to have licenses to play it. Well, Xbox is trying to be, which is Microsoft, they're trying to be the hub that everybody's going to have all their game data and everything stored at. Everybody trying to route through they've had they put out a lot of feelers with different people so basically Microsoft has got an even bigger shadow monopoly going on right now with media. It's not just video games It's also streaming data and other stuff you take a look at where Microsoft tendrils have spread out to right now They're unofficially You are unofficially tied to Steam if you are a Steam player. Xbox has a Tenderil in there now. They have a Tenderil in Sony. But the only one they don't have a tenderloin right now is Nintendo and Nintendo is doing just as shady BS as the others. If you think you're going to get away from the you'll own nothing and be happy about it. Nintendo's got the shady thing with their new system. Yeah, you get a physical little card to put in your machine but all it is is a CD key. You don't own anything, you're just buying a CD key, well not a CD key, because they're not a CD, you're buying a program key that says you have permission to play the game licensed that that key is for. And if they ever want to revoke that key, or you ever lose that key, you're SOL. You don't have the game anymore. That's interesting, you know, it's a digital library, but it's a digital library where you have to have a keycard to access it. EJ, great to see you. Welcome back to the show. We've been of course beating the drum on this. We've had Congressman Thomas Massey on the show Senator Ron Johnson coming up shortly about this. Calling out that this is, you know, you're kicking the can down the road here. promise of future like the promise that Congress is going to somehow be more efficient down the line like when have they ever done that what do you make of this pushback from certain Republicans in the Senate and Elon Musk on this bill Well, it's certainly understandable because this isn't really delivering on all of the things that we were promised. Now, all that being said, is it better than doing nothing? Probably, because if you do nothing here, you're going to see some pretty significant tax increases on the American middle class over the course of the budget window, which is a decade. So over the course of 10 years, it's going to amount to about $4.5 trillion in higher taxes on middle America. Clearly something we want to avoid. Again, the bill is good in that sense, but there's a lot of work to be done, I think, for the Senate to improve this thing, and it really does need to be improved. Now, not all of the spending cuts that Doge identified, potential spending cuts, can actually be implemented here. The rules of reconciliation differentiate between mandatory spending and discretionary spending. This is why the president has already started sending rescission packages to Congress. uh... those are things which just like reconciliation only require he simple majority vote but so again i i and let me put it this way i understand where both sides are coming from my understand why the white house and why speaker johnson are talking about this is the big beautiful bill and i also understand where he won this coming from where he's looking at the financial situation in our country and seeing it implode in real time and he's very worried about that as am i quite frankly near the national debt although it's $36.2 trillion right now, that's where it was at the start of the year. It stayed there because the debt ceiling has been in effect. And so Treasury has been burning through its cash account. At the same time, it takes different kinds of extraordinary measures in order to pay its bills. Those extraordinary measures would be things like not putting money into trust funds, like Social Security, and planning on doing that sometime in the future when it can borrow again. The issue here is that as soon as that debt ceiling is lifted, the Treasury is going to have to go on a massive borrowing spree to not only undo all of those extraordinary measures, but also replace, replenish all of the cash that they have been burning through these last several months. That means that we're going to be at $38 trillion in debt, literally by September. The problem is getting away from us and very, very quickly. Now something that Thomas Massey said on redacted last week is we don't need it in one big bill. If we have these priorities we can take tackle them one at a time and get Congress to sign off on them in piecemeal so that we're not adding crap to the bill. It's kind of like when you get a value meal at a fast food place because you think you're getting a deal and then you realize oh no that's the same if I bought it a la carte. So then I just I can buy it all according to the same. So are we being sold a bill of goods? So if I struggle with my weight, I should go on a diet, right? Do you know about this traditional beverage that has been... Well, I'm going to take my monetary hat off and put on my political scientist hat for a second here. I think the big problem that they're running into right now, the Republicans in Congress, is the fact that the Democrats will give them zero help on anything. And so the only way they can get stuff done right now is with reconciliation, is with recisions. That means if they want to add things like military spending so that we can replenish our depleted military reserves, so that we can actually finish building the border wall so that we can get the funding we need for more people and more drones on the southern border. That's going to require all that stuff being thrown into reconciliation. There's just no way you're going to be able to do it outside of that because you're never going to get through that filibuster in the Senate. And obviously the last thing the Democrats want is border security or a strong military. So that means we are forced into trying to jam-pack everything we need into this bill. It's not a great solution, but I'm just not sure what the alternative is, unfortunately. Well, you mentioned a couple of key issues that the Senate will need to really tackle here. It seems like this thing is on its path to passing, but you've got the voices in the Senate that are trying to stop this. So I agree with you on the tax cut piece of this, but what sort of big cuts can we expect from the Senate? Where can we, where can they draw some red lines here and then send it back to the House of Representatives and have some sort of, I don't know, common ground. We got rid of, we got rid of all of these things. We got rid of all of these massive increases here that, you know, are going to be pushed down the line here. Are there some big cuts you would call out right now? Oh certainly, there's two right off the top of my head. One has to do with all of these different entitlement programs, these welfare programs. They can put in much, much tighter restrictions to get rid of the abuse, the corruption, the fraud, the waste. in these different programs to reduce the number of illegitimate payments that are going out the door. And in cases like Social Security, that's wonderful for the program because the more you reduce those illegitimate payments, the longer you prolong, I should say, you prolong the solvency of that trust fund, which means legitimate beneficiaries are going to get their payments for a longer period of time. tightening up the restrictions on Medicaid will ensure that not just illegal aliens but able-bodied men aren't getting these checks. That should be reserved for pregnant women, that should be reserved for the infirm, etc., the disabled. There's that whole bucket. The other big thing they can do, and this is on the revenue side, although it technically is, I guess, a spending item, is we've got to get down the cap on salt. The amount that the house increased, the salt deduction, the state and local tax deduction was completely unacceptable. Look, this is a handout. to the essentially the Democrat donor class. This is a handout to high income individuals in high tax municipalities like New York City, like Chicago, like Los Angeles. And it is not a pro-growth tax cut. When you do things like reduce marginal tax rates or when you get rid of the tax on tip or the tax on overtime, that greatly increases essentially how much pro-growth stimulus you have in the economy because what it's doing is it's decreasing the penalty on work. And so if you contrast that with the salt deduction, it's exactly the opposite. So increasing the salt deduction is not only costly, it does nothing for economic growth. The other day I was driving a sadhud on the side of the highway with a sign, cardboard sign that said save Medicaid. The bill does not actually intend to get rid of Medicaid. It just introduces stricter requirements to receive it. So what would you say to my freeway dwelling friend with a cardboard sign whose main opposition to this? This is the Democratic talking point, right? It's not very productive because there are other things that are worth our attention. But why are they hyper focused on that? And what would you say to this, this dude? Well, I would probably say nothing to him because clearly if you're that far out of your right mind to stand outside of the cardboard sign that is so disconnected from reality, far be it from me to try to convince you otherwise. But let me try to convince the viewers at least on your great show. Look, the fact of the matter is this bill would increase, not decrease, increase medicare spell medicaid spending shoes made medicare is also going to go up but medicaid specifically is going up it's just that it's going to go up in a slightly slower rate than it would before and that has to do with the fact that again you're taking Illegal aliens off of the program people who shouldn't be getting this money anyway I mean it's amazing how Democrats are throwing a fit right now that we're gonna remove illegal aliens from a welfare program after Democrats have been telling us for years that illegal aliens aren't eligible for welfare programs anyway, and that's just a right-wing conspiracy or a conservative talking point or whatever other nomenclature they want to give to it the fact of the matter is California has been flagrantly giving these illegal aliens, all kinds of handouts. It's not just California, but they've been the biggest offender. Despite the federal government saying no, you're not allowed to do this. Under the Biden administration, they turned a blind eye. The Trump administration is trying to crack down on it. But the fact remains that currently you have millions of illegal aliens receiving all kinds of federal aid. So again, if you've got people with respiratory issues, you might have to break down and actually it's an air conditioning unit to do a little air filtration. You can add to the filter factor, even HEPA filter add-on that you can buy just to give you a little better air quality for somebody who might be having issues right now. It's something we haven't talked much about. We actually need to tag. And again, with the situation, the way it is, It's not going to get better. Canada is not really, they're not trying too hard to fight that fire son. You know, guys, they got a mission. They're burning people off their property. It's what the communists are doing. It's what they've been doing for a long time. So, how is it changing direction to that one? With the fires in Canada up there, I was looking at a couple of the places where they started now. We talked about the drone-a-toid thing before and how they were testing drones with flamethrowers in Canada in severely wooded areas. If you look at where that training ground was for the robot dog drones with the flamethrowers, it's right in the middle of one of these hot spots. Well, again, I think there's no accident to any of this. This is intense. We've seen this consistently with Californication land and Soviet Canada, I don't think is any different. We have the same problems. I shouldn't say we do. We're not in Canada, but we are seeing the effects. But the real purpose behind this is to try and drive people off their land to do that. They need to damage the environment. They're not worried about global warming. They're not worried about the environment. They're thieves. You're dealing with backstabbing thieves. And that's what they're trying to do, trying to take the land away from the people. Or at least move them, again, get them boxed into those little 15 minute imperial slash feudal household areas. That is obviously the real agenda across the board. So it's the one we have to avoid like the plague. We have to do everything in our power to not be part of that. This omnibus bill that they passed, almost all the stuff that his group, that Doge has recommended to cut, that's AID, all of that crap, it's in the big beautiful bill, guys. You take all the time to do this recommendation, put it out there, and then the boss comes out ahead, you did it, and say, well, you know what? We got it. We got the publicity from it that we wanted. But you know what? We're not going to do it. We're just going to go ahead and give a thumbs up to this broad sweeping bill, which lets all that crap slide through. Apparently there was some other activity which then when the cops went back to their property, went back to where they lived, they found guns and magazines and ammo and all kinds of horrible, horrible, terrible stuff. This is the Hautari slash Pennsylvania militia slash, you know, roll it back every two years. The bat faggots and the feds always pop up a, you know, they do it at different points of the country. That's what this appears to be. Lots of verbiage. Substance may be, is going to be something totally different. Example, MG 42 type kits of several different breeds are available out there in forest right now. They've been popping in all over the place. So again, having the kit there, remember they just flat out lie. And as one person pointed out, you don't even know if they didn't even just plant the stuff. It's up in the Californication Land District, the left coast, and they've been notorious for criminal activity for decades. Just outright criminal activity. And just flat out lying. So embellishment is their middle name with any of these alphabet soup agencies. You don't give them any ground, and you should learn not to give them any ground. Just keep that in mind. There was a little news blurt with very little real information, just lots of flurry about what they had. And there probably will be a number of other pieces popping up over the next 24 hours or so. We're going into the weekend. The news cycle has been slow. This is not a, I don't think anything with Musk and Trump were to deflect something like this. It's just a way to hit the news service. Okay, a way it just happened to be. So it's not upping in everybody's face, but it definitely is getting extensive regional bang the gong coverage. So we need to pay attention there. Also, again, ammunition, let me before I do not forget, Montana Air 15, Montana Air 15, Montana Air 15 have rifle primers. They've had some really good deals on rifle primers. You might want to go over and check that out, but also Air 15 Discount, they have both ammo and primers. I don't know how much, I don't think they're that big on primers, but they did receive a batch. I got an email on that one. I don't know what the inventory is total, but a thousand count containers. of primers. I don't think they're breaking it down in individual trays. So you have to check to see if that is possible, but I don't think so. So yes, you're going to have to buy $1,000 at least at a time, but it definitely is worthwhile. It's definitely something that is part of the program. Also, go ahead, Collin, we got you. What's the difference between, I was in this store and they sold ammo, okay, and I was seeing 9mm Luger, then I saw boxes of 9mm NATO. Is there a difference between NATO and Luger? No, they're the same. 9mm Parabellum, 9mm Luger, 9mm NATO, it's all the same. So I can see them in my gun, it doesn't matter. Well, you should be able to. Again, it's ball ammunition, it's baseline. 9mm NATO is 9mm Parabellum which is 9mm Luger. And more, there are many other titles depending on where you are on the planet. Again, the big deal there is to just test it to see if it's something that works in your weapon best. It should. If it's ball ammunition, it should be baseline ammunition. In other words, Everybody, no matter what powder, primer combination they use, what bullet, if it's a ball it's supposed to perform and the point of impact should be consistent from one manufacturer to the other. That's not always true, but it's mostly true. So what I would do is buy a box and if you like it and it does what it's supposed to do if you're testing it, I would get on a bench, I would rest myself, I would try to see how it prints. at 25 yards first, and then go from there. See if we can reach out to 50. The big thing here again is collect your brass and inspect the brass. When you're testing a new round, or a unique round, something that you haven't shot before, you should always look at the brass. Why? Well, if somebody builds what is considered light in the loafer, as far as the slug that they use to make the brass with, One of the things they can do is thin out the lower part of the case. And what does happen, very rarely, it usually happens with high pressure rounds where you have SMG rounds or something like that. What happens is you may get what is a thumbnail blowout on the side of a case. Now, it's not likely to happen, but I always look for it with new batches of ammo because if you fire a couple magazines, actually what I would do is fire one magazine's worth, or for that many just load up five rounds, and do a five-round cycle test. Check to see if the weapon, obviously you're watching to see if the weapon is going to function properly. Recover the brass and inspect the brass to see if it's distorted or if there's anything unusual that seemed to be kind of strange. One of the things you're watching for is primers to back out of the primer pocket. Not likely, but it happens a little with most cases. We just don't notice it. And the other thing is watch for brass distortion up to and including again what is a typically it looks like a thumbnail on looking at it from its on end. It's a little blowout, a little cookie cutter cut that can take place. If that's happening, the brass is thin, the powder charge is high. The other thing that you want to do is you definitely want to print. In other words, make the effort to actually hit the target. So this is why resting your arms using a bench, shooting a bag would be a good idea because you want to see how the weapon is printing and you're going to be able to identify what kind of variance you're getting. Especially if you get an overpressure, you're going to see a flyer or a stringer when you're shooting, especially if you're firing multiple rounds one after another and you're doing either a five round group or a whole magazine into a target area. So first thing I do is inspect the brass. Now it's not likely very much out there is going to be really goofy right now. There was a whole bunch of stuff that was being made for military contract, which is why we're seeing a good glut of 9 millimeter for the moment. That was something that was talked about last year. Now we're not seeing any great prices because they built it last year. It would be cheaper than this year. So they built it cheap last year when they were in the mega production. And now they're sitting on boxcars and semi-truck trailers full of ammunition. I don't think it's going to report extensively. But we're going to see, we may not see cheaper prices, but at least we'll see a stable price on 9mm. Go ahead. Yeah, I was firing this .30-30 ammo. It wasn't none of my reloads. It was factory ammo, Winchester, 150 grain bullets. Okay? And when I fired them, all the cases, the cases didn't split or damage or anything. Just the primer backed out a little bit. Why'd that happen? That was a factory load. That was their fault. That's an overpressure on their part. Again, It may not be so much even an over fresher because one of the problems you've got is quality control of the night production. So what you may have is a sloppy primer channel. It's not really a blow off the business, but again, that's what a feature was launching for. Most likely it's a sloppy primer channel. It could be an undercut under struck primer also, so it's below spec. That happens too. You're sounding fine now, but when you were trying to explain that, you were distorted. Okay, this is, yeah, we're seeing pulsations literally all over the place. Okay, well again, the big thing here again is that it's most likely Either the primer channel itself in the case was over cut or slightly over cut. Usually the way that happens in a factory is the tooling gets sloppy because it's tired. And they have been running tooling, I'll guarantee they are, running tooling to the ints degree and trying to get every last penny out of whatever, you know, whatever every last cut they can. But the problem is that you get either, you know, weebles wobble, then they fall. In other words, you get distortion. The other consideration is the primers themselves may not have been the caps, may not have been properly formed and they may be undersized. And there's not a whole lot you can really do with that. Now the other thing is that if it did back out, you may have a slight overpressure, but That's not very likely nowadays for the most part because years ago, I mean it can happen, it can be somebody screwing up on the powder measure in the factory that can happen, but years ago they dropped back the pressures on all American cartridges by about 200 feet per second. I should say velocity, but that means also cup pressure, everything was reduced. So, again, the only thing you can do with that is pay attention, look at the cases, feel the cases around the base of the case, see if there's any bulging or anything like that there. There is a little variance because of the chamber spacing, the way it's set up. So, if you've got something that was running hard, it was a manually operated gun, right? A lever action? Maybe you lost me. I might be gone. That was a lever action. It was my grandpa. OK, so that's not a problem. OK, the big thing there, again, is if it's a manually operated weapon, you're not worrying about the gas system operating and a certain amount of energy being applied during the extraction to the rear that can create different variables, especially if the case is over pressured. So it doesn't sound like the case was necessarily over pressured. I'd lean more towards variance in quality control. And it can be those two items. And there's not much you can do. You don't want to remount the primer pocket if it's already loose. If it's the primers, hey, you get what you got with what's coming out of the factory and also what's being produced because we don't know what's being done anymore there. Mostly foreign. We know that. A lot of it's foreign. Or even once in America, it's foreign. And they're not worried too much about us, especially commercial loads. The big thing here again is, and by the way, I'm not just talking about what he's doing with his weapons. If you get a new weapon, you should also do the same thing. You should do a function test. where you observe the operation of the weapon with five rounds and then you should do a five or ten round cycle with a full magazine or the full capacity of the weapon, recover the brass and inspect the brass to confirm that you've got decent performance.
