Meanwhile, yes, there has been an interplay between India and Pakistan. Apparently Pakistan had some militant forces who launched a number of attacks, nine particular targets. They engaged inside India. India returned fire with aircraft strikes against the locations that the rockets apparently were launched from. Pakistan claims two aircraft shot down, probably Mirage. Those look like mirages, if they are, they're one of the... Here we go, Ed's got it here. Dunging gadgets. Taking a class, so I've got a couple minutes here to tell you what just happened, because most gun owners will probably get a kick out of this. For years, ATF's main lobby was home to a controversial display. It was a wall-sized gun violence memorial filled with emotional pictures and photos and anti-gun symbolism. But now, under the current leadership, that wall is gone. And I think it's a good thing. This so-called memorial was installed during the Biden administration, and it featured about 120 faces that were meant to represent victims of gun violence. There's no such thing as There's violence perpetrated with firearms, just like there is with cars. But it was a strategic attempt to stir emotion and link lawful gun ownership to criminal acts. And it was right in the lobby of the Federal Law Enforcement Agency. But ATF isn't supposed to be a propaganda outlet. With the Biden administration on its way out, yes, there's still some leftovers. and a new wave of leadership setting a different tone, ATF quietly removed the entire display in the last few days. No fanfare, no press conference, just a quiet course correction away from politicizing the messaging. And for far too long, unelected bureaucrats used emotional imagery and misleading narratives to vilify us, the law-abiding Americans who choose to exercise our Second Amendment rights, like we're doing here today at Valor Ridge. And the ATF should never have allowed that wall or the anti-gun messaging that accompanied it to define its identity. If they want to hang a memorial to the lives of people that should do it to those who are saved by armed self-defense, or the thousands of times a firearm has prevented violent crime. That would be something worth seeing if you're going to DC. Now, of course, the usual anti-gun groups and the media outlets are losing their minds. They're calling this removal an insensitive action claiming that it dishonors these victims. But let's be real, that wall wasn't about honoring victims. It was about weaponizing grief just to justify gun control. and taking it down isn't erasing anybody's memory. It's about ending the abuse of federal property or political theater. If you believe the ATF should stop pushing anti-gun rhetoric, And they should be abolished, then make your voice heard down below. Let me know in the comments what you think should happen to the ATF. I wanted to make sure we posted at least one of the Guns N' Gadgets videos for the day. That's good enough. Also, going back to this thing with Pakistan, everybody seems to realize that, yeah, this is two nuclear powers. That's actually something that they have been doing a good job of reincorporating into almost every report that you will see. on the subject of what just happened. So again, the elements, a particular element inside Pakistan, militant group, whatever you want to call that anymore, which apparently was not part of the government, launched a series of attacks, nine targets, and launched missiles. No indication completely on what the damage was. A lot of noise, but no particulars there. not enough anyway, and then the Indian government took to the air, retaliated, hitting the nine targets where the weapon systems were supposed to have been launched from, but did not attack Pakistani military forces. So there was a division here in terms of understanding Pakistan is still talking about, quote unquote, retaliating yet again. In other words, we see Pakistan fired, or somebody in Pakistan fired. India fired back. Now Pakistan says that they think at their discretion that they have the option to return or retaliate in whatever way. So we'll see how that develops. Again, the aircraft probably were mirage. There is, as I mentioned, a wide inventory of equipment. both primary and second line and third line. Countries like India can't afford to get rid of anything. Can't just chuck stuff out. They're not the wasteful Americans. We're terrible for that. We're horrible for that. Notoriously so, but well somebody's getting their pockets lined, so it's okay. But anyway, in the process of what they did here, they did lose two aircraft. But, apparently they're claiming success in what they intended to do with the airstrikes that followed through, and the rest now is a waiting game to see what Pakistan is going to develop. Now, again, I cannot emphasize enough when you start talking about nuclear, use it or lose it is the policy. So for whatever reason somebody decides to go stupid and you know go sideways and escalate this for whatever reason in whatever way Yes, this can move into a nuclear exchange if the cards keep getting flipped. So so far in very specific response and All parties seem to not be so much frothing at the mouth but trying to calculate how to claim that they've succeeded in whatever they were doing to retaliate against the retaliation We'll see how that works out. Again, news at 11, as they say, or maybe later. But again, another reason to be prepared, make sure that you have NBC, Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Defense Technology people, because the parties involved are fully capable in virtually all three categories, Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Weapon Systems. and their experience too. These people have been fighting for a long time. They were able to respond very quickly. If you take a look at the timetable and the chain of events that led up to where we are at this moment, both sides, the initiators, and then the response were very quick. There was no downtime, no, well, let's think about it. It was, you know, fire, fire, and fire, fire again. So, this is the kind of situation that can drag us into a bigger conflict, it can escalate to bring in other parties, but it's not difficult to do at all. I think one of the interesting things nobody has talked about yet is, okay, this particular element, which is separate from the government, which had nine different launch points, what kind of weapon systems did they use? Did they use American equipment that was acquired from Afghanistan? Nobody's wanted to talk about that one. But again, if things have been relatively quiet, there have not been a series of, you know, there's been tensions, but there always are. This is a, it's been an ongoing war zone for a very long period of time. So the tension is, you know, waiting for the next foot to fall. What's interesting is that it's been relatively quiet, as I said before, in the two hour block. And all of a sudden this incident develops the way that it does. What's changed? Well, there's a massive U.S. inventory that the Israeli arms dealers have been spreading all over the planet. Jewish mob got in there right away. Partial process was contractors fixing up whatever it is they could fix up. marketing a certain amount of the material because of the overflow outside of Afghanistan was a given. You might recall there were some early reports that a bunch of our stuff was going to Pakistan. So I would say that this attack on India was probably the responsibility of, well, whoever it is that hockey pucked the whole thing up with the United States, leaving so much material behind conveniently to create further crisis in the region. Hmm, and I'd say that's pretty close, like right there, take a look at the map. Where's Pakistan? Where's Afghanistan? Not a big deal walking over the, you know, a few mountains there and delivering the product, and I'm sure that they did. So, eventually we might hear, then again, we probably won't if they pay enough people off, but we might hear progressively where the ordinance came from that was used for this particular little escapade. And I will not be surprised, of course if they try, they may just try to shut everybody up on it, but I would not be surprised if it wasn't an American weapons system that was employed, was available and captured in Afghanistan or could have come even from Ukraine! Don't think of all the stuff we've delivered to Ukraine that just disappeared. The Israeli arms merchants. Shiffle this stuff all over the planet. I'm telling ya. This could be any event and they're doing it So again hang on here potatoes. Dr. Jones because this could get rather interesting But it already is that life goes on. So Next it is of course communications Tuesday Just a quick announcement for the bottom of the state here around the state of Michigan and also Northern Indiana and Ohio Yes, we have three separate dates They're now scheduled for Baofiang Programming events where we're going to have everybody sit down. Everyone's going to go step by step by step by double step through the process and what we are wanting to do is bring people together because we do have specific frequency interests based upon the operational needs of particular militia formations. So the first event It's not going to be that big, but it will be fairly good sized in terms of the number of people that have already confirmed they're going to attend. The second will be, hold on here, let me double check the schedule. Okay, the schedule. Well, today is the 6th, and I believe the 24th is the next date for any number of different team leaders or RO's, etc., or individuals that have radios to program. The present scheduled date is for the 9th, I believe. And number three is out to the end of the month, I believe actually the 31st. So it's the 9th, 24th, and 31st. Yes, we have seen what's going on in Pakistan and Afghanistan, or Pakistan and India, forgive me. And on that note too, India of course, has actually come out with a series of public statements. I got a chance to listen to one or two of them that were done. Oh, I love listening to Indian. Indian television is most fun to be part of. You'll never know what you're going to find out besides what it is you wanted to find out when you're listening to these things. So it is very fun, very much excitement, and very much bumming, and they're bumming again. So apparently, The Indian government has said that they're satisfied with their response and results from the bombings. Again, Pakistan has been reserved but still obviously belligerent. So we'll see if there's going to be a further counter strike by Pakistan. If they do, it's not really going to be a surprise. So of course, they did say that it'll be at their discretion as far as how or what they choose to do. So, not another missile attack. Of course, the Pakistani government didn't do the missile strike. This was a faction inside Pakistan that shot into India. And again, where did those missiles come from? Did they come from Ukraine? Or did those missiles come from US stockpiles out of Afghanistan? I would put my money on Afghanistan because it's right next door. And so far for at least the last, you know, most of last year, this last six to eight months, it's been relatively quiet. It all of a sudden pops out out of the blue. So I think we do need to pay attention there. Also, again, a reminder that India has a couple of other trade agreement things that are going on right now with Russia. even though they're obviously cooperating with the US on providing slave labor manpower through the special visa program that the new regime wants as opposed to what the old regime was doing. So our slave, our keep slave labor for Mr. Musk is coming from that place and they're getting paperwork over the counter. Well, at least it's over the counter. We know everybody is. It's not like the, well, why are you climbing through the window? When the Communists were running the regime for four years, why didn't the illegals all just not be illegal and come through the front door? Didn't the Communists run the Department of Immigration? Of immigration? Not amagr- not em-agr-ion. Imm-agr-ion. Immigrants coming inbound. Yes, they did. So why would they have them hop the fence? It doesn't make any sense. Does it? Oh, yeah, well, maybe it does. We all understand how that works. So, other things that were in the news that just happened to pop up, apparently there's going to be some big announcement tomorrow by the social media elements out there because there is a series of clandestine collection activities that took place here over the last couple of weeks and apparently the they're hinting at Pfizer and the Epstein files or the Epstein situation, so we'll see how that develops. I'm not holding my breath on that one, but as I what is it? O'Keefe? Anyway, these people have done some really interesting work last couple of days. They released the piece with the CIA operative talking about how they were denying Trump information, data, whatever, and they were, again, compartmentalizing him. That individual was fired because he was exposed by literally a sugar box or a honey pot operation. Not a honey pot operation because they really weren't getting naked. They were in the sugar box or candy box phase where they were at the restaurant and the individual was trying to brag up exactly how strong and what a critical position he was in in the process. Spilling the beans to somebody who shouldn't have been receiving any beans at all. Maybe a candy box or maybe some flowers. not trade secrets from the agency. Now whether this is all play acting and they're doing this, because this is the kind of stuff that actually is counterintelligence, the ring knockers do all the time, where they'll throw stuff out there. But it is rather interesting, you would think that these people would catch on that this is not a good idea. But Washington, DC has become so arrogant and the environment is so openly criminal that for a person to do something like this, especially in the Washington DC or Philadelphia area, any of those, that corridor right there is as corrupt and as guaranteed to be monitored as one could imagine. Washington DC has spies overlapping spies, overlapping spies, overlapping spies, overlapping spies. There isn't any place, and anybody who's in a department or in the government knows, that there isn't any place that isn't wired up, it isn't cambered up already to the point where even if you didn't do one of these special operations, in particular, just in general, you just shut your face because the more secluded the site is meant to be to appear, Let's just say the more cambered up and microphoned it is. Which is why, again, prior to prior planning prevents piss poor performance, how about you not talk about anything there at all? Which would be a good idea. So it's interesting that this person completely violated all the basic common sense rules of, you know, operational security. And if you've seen the video, I mean, it's like many of the others that are done there. It's amazing. Just how slipshod these people are or in this case my question is considering how we're moving into the Trump regime How much of this is? Let's see bait operation to try to create a comfort zone before the next foot falls because it's this is classic in that respect So now the latest thing we don't know is tomorrow. There's going to be the big announcement tomorrow's Wednesday This was supposed to be a big announcement All the parties involved said they are not suicidal, they do not want to commit suicide. So we'll see what the announcement is. The implications are Pfizer, which could be the coronavirus scam, could be a Fauci attachment to that, and or, in addition, the whole idea that somehow the Epstein scenario is tied into this. Most likely because why not? I mean number one, even with Epstein supposedly dead and gone, somebody's got the blackmail resources. It's obvious that between the Jewish mob out of Israel with an A-Pak and the Epstein, Mossad slash Israeli operations, that they've got the bag on everybody in Washington that they need to. Now the only interesting thing is whether or not somebody actually sat there and mapped out who it is that they're playing. So, we'll see again, it won't know anything until tomorrow. Just basic heads up, it's going to be interesting to see what announcements are made, and then we'll go from there. The intelligence offered is rather bizarre, the one with the CIA agent last couple of days, in that again in this environment most people would be ultra cautious. On the other hand, to try and make everybody feel comfortable that there's stumbling and bumbling going on, something like this is offered as a counter intelligence action to create a positive environment and the idea that somehow you're there we're getting over on the bad guys. Now if you have something like this, this is that slow cockroach in the bathroom situation. Now granted the doofus was you know looking at getting into the pants of some female that they set up so in that respect it would have been an honeypot situation if they had followed through. Instead it's basically a candy box scenario. The character was at a restaurant there yapping back and forth. And again, this is the other part I have a problem with here is the person's having a conversation. They're at a very public or relatively public place. And these characters are discussing subjects that traditionally would have been taboo outside the office. This demonstrates a level of malfeasance, incompetence, few size IQ operations to begin with, but also arrogance. That's the thing. Guys, the people that are, any of these alphabet soup agencies, but especially like CIA, everybody in their operation are paranoid until, I mean, to no end. They're no fun to be around. If they're relatives or whatever, they're constantly, again, the paranoia level is so high, the fear of somebody finding out something, I mean talking about them finding out that this person is around, talked to, been near somebody else. And it's rather comical to watch. It's sad, but comical. So, and yes, we also know how the two team, two individual team member surveillance teams work, like at restaurants, etc. That's what's fascinating to me about this character and the others that I've seen. Again, around Washington, the comfort zone, the logic is that the whole cesspool is just so warm with pee and feces that everybody just, it's like they're in the womb. They just feel comfortable and get away with anything. They can say anything. And they do. They literally do. So we'll see how this develops. But again, we're at the bottom. Hold on here. Okay, how would they figure out if the weapons that were used by the Pakistani militant group were American? Well, let me point something out contrary to movies or propaganda in the media. We literally, okay, when I was being trained as an intelligence analyst, one of the things we have a full one week part of the course that it covers is battlefield evaluation and development. What we're doing is given everything on, mostly, I should say not everything, but the most important, is the evaluation of rocket and artillery and mortar attacks to determine type of weapons system and again, changes in munitions. Guys literally like, I don't know if you're familiar with the medical industry, when they do amputations, you know how many different images they have. They save images for every amputation that's made, like just for a finger. And if you want to reference it, there are a million images, I won't say a million, but probably there are, of just how many different ways you could cut off your index finger, and then how they have to put it back together, seriously. I have a series of books that are books, medical text, that are imagery on medical procedure. They're two pallets worth, okay. I got, they came from the University of Michigan's Taubman Library when they got rid of them. Now it's on computer, but these are the original library-ference text for the surgery, you know, surgical facilities. to reference former surgical procedures. And they don't have to guess because everything's covered. Well, basically the same is true with ordinance. Every piece of ordinance out there, first of all, is very well and heavily documented by any number of different government intelligence resources with each country and also by private intelligence sources. You might recall Well, was it clear and present danger which was a Clancy piece and one of the things you see that Indiana Jones, I'm sorry, it's not who he is but in the movie everybody everybody knows him Harrison Ford Comes in late at night. He's trying to figure out where this missile came from. Well, you're showing you exactly how it works He comes in with a stack of tax plus other government references, but one of the things he's got there is James Aircraft Ordinance, you know, there's the James Intelligence Series. James is an intelligence service that offers a vast amount of supplemental information. They literally cover the order of battle for every army on the planet, every Air Force, every Marine Corps, every Army Force, the Coast Guard, every country on the planet, top to bottom, okay? But in addition to that, also the technologies that they use. So if the Pakistani militants launched a particular weapon, number one, remember it goes downrange. It hits the ground or it air bursts. And if it air bursts, it's even easier to find what's left laying around. But when an explosion takes place, remember what it is is a concussive event that creates a high velocity slap. Think about it that way. It moves out in any number of different directions based upon point of impact. or the nature of the ordinance itself, which can be directional. When this explosion, this slap takes place, guys, everything is there. Every nut, bolt, and screw, every widget, every circuit board, all the components are there in the blast. Now, if it's an artillery shell and or rocket propelled whatever, or it could be an air breather, could be a a surface-to-surface missile that's an air-breathing missile. When it hits, in many cases, most of the components bury into the point of impact. So it's not difficult to actually, if you know what the point of impact is, what you're literally going to do is an autopsy of the bomb crater. And systematically, you can recover virtually almost every component of the bomb. of the mortar shell or of the rocket or whatever it is. Now some parts will be destroyed, will be damaged or should say shattered to the point where they're almost microscopic but might reflect parts and pieces at the epicenter of the event. But by the nature of the equipment and the way that the blast typically works, the material might be dissipated, not only spread out over an area, but it's all there. So, if an American missile was used, rockets were used, which it sounds like that's what they were using here, were surface-to-surface rocket attack, and American or Russian or Chinese or whatever, all of that can be purely determined with a sufficient amount of time. And I guarantee that they're doing that right now. India has an excellent military force. They have a very professional military force. They are meticulous. They have an intelligence service. So the important thing to understand is that there is a footprint that also has an additional fingerprint attached to it. The footprint is the actual action, but the fingerprint is the technology, and that can easily be determined. So, if these were American missiles, number one, they could be identified, or like I said, Russian, or they couldn't be Pakistani produced. They could even be home built, because contrary to popular belief, there are some very, very competent, technically minded and engineer oriented people out there in all of these populations, and if they're willing to apply to themselves, you'd be amazed what can be accomplished. However, I'm leaning towards American ordinance that came over the hill, so to speak, from Afghanistan. It was marketed by whoever, the militant force, which remember there was discussion. Let's go back, effectively go back and look at all the news blurps from the, when we pulled out of Afghanistan because of the intentional incompetence. It wasn't accidental, it was intentional. There was discussion about weapons that the Taliban were immediately selling weapons over the border and Pakistan was receiving some of this. So it's very likely that the nine precision attacks, for whatever reason, whether trying to downplay the initial attacks, which is kind of weird, which tells me that there's some big flags that should go up. that this is probably American Ordnance. It was provided by whoever it was that was marketing it. It could be American Ordnance though from the next party would be Ukraine. And if that's the case, either way it's probably Israeli arms dealers who are always the middlemen for these types of operations, especially in these areas. And they just did some business. And in the process, they have not identified what casualties have taken place on the Indian side. There was some discussion about the referencing the points of impact, but depending on which of the news stories from in Pakistan. There's a lot of live coverage that's coming out, as our caller said, during the two-hour block. But there's nothing that's a mystery here. They will be able to figure out what it is they got hit with. I think they already have a pretty good idea because of range and also both India and Pakistan are linked into both their own intelligence, overhead air coverage and satellite coverage. And they have cooperative reserve status with other countries. I believe they do have some, not Pakistan maybe, but India with us and certainly with other Euro and with the Russians. So they have access to what they need to be able to visually see what it is that transpired. They have their own assets for that purpose. In addition, again, calculating ranges and the nature of the attack, because this will all have been on radar, they will be studying all of those components, and they'll come up with a pretty reliable footprint. And again, finally fingerprints about who's who in the zoo on this one. as far as who provided the devices, the technology. Just a heads up. And yes, guys, when you throw a grenade, you do realize, contrary to what, you know, like, oh, it's an explosion and everything is consumed. No, you know, the grenade fuse is there, the frags laying around, some of it's on the ground. Depending on which type of grenade it is, which model, you actually have chunks of the outer hull, like the, for instance, with the Lemon, it's rather notorious because of the way it's built and needless to say also the baseball But used to be they would scrape up all those fuses and handles and you know with the spoons along with the fire the pulp ends and then tell them by the pound is scrap We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. It's blue sky, horizon to horizon. A little bit of wispy high elevation cloud. Can't really determine what altitude. But just a very, very fine wisp here and there. And otherwise, sun's coming out. We have water sitting on the grass. So this is a good thing. Hopefully it'll dry things up. We also have a not heavy, but a steady breeze and that's pulling moisture up too. So the only thing though is the grass is still growing just fine because it's getting all the goodies it needs to do that. More mowing. Anyway, a couple other things are going on though. Again, with regard to the border down below, yes, there are a series of additional deployments. I want to say hi to some of our friends that have been passing on information here from Texas way, but also New Mexico, which New Mexico is not happy with what's happening. They're communists. New Mexico is Soviet socialist hardcore. And New Mexico is not happy with the fact that the troops have landed on the beach, so to speak, and from California to Arizona, Arizona to New Mexico, critical quarters where I think we're targeted first as far as points of entry for the illegals, especially the usual getaways. the areas where they're most commonly operating that system. They have some of the illegals come through, then the others pass across while they're busy trying to deal with the minions. Now since the minion number has reduced, we are seeing them focus more on aggressively tracking and engaging the Godaways. which we would expect. So as you have more time, you're not boggled up with all the other BS that was generated for the last four years, then you're able to do your job. Now the thing is, they also have additional manpower. We have a couple of friends that are deployed down there that have been with us for a very long time. And what they're saying is that there is a lot of activity that's not getting any publicity whatsoever in both directions. The bad guys are moving in some very unique ways and that isn't getting any coverage because they don't want to give them any credit. You know, give credit where credit's due when the bad guys are doing something that you need to be paying attention to. It'd be nice to know about it so that you can possibly foil it. The population can pitch in. We don't need just a little military clip down there. We need everybody pitching in. That's the most successful way to make everybody believe that something might actually be happening, going on, something to deal with the problem. But as it is, New Mexico is the tough spot on the line. because the communist government of New Mexico and the hires that have been brought in, mostly from California, are becoming, let's just say, backstabbing rat bastards. That's the only way to describe it. So we will have more on that. Interestingly enough, elements of the New Mexico Highway Patrol, elements of some of the counties, Apparently, our have been indicted because of their activity. They're not trying to draw publicity until they tag the rest that they want to, that they do want to arrest, but in both New Mexico and in two locations in Arizona, specific individuals have been obviously cooperating with and passing on information to the cartels through the policing agencies and it got caught. So, at least some of them did. Now, I would assume they're, well, again, they got to use what they got to use for communications. Remember, that's the bad part about thinking you're going to just jump on the phone or whatever else you think you're going to use to betray the country, and it didn't work for them. So, pay attention. You're going to see more reporting done on that shortly. We're just a little ahead of it by maybe a day. Other things, I told you so, now everybody's realizing that the CIA is stirring the pot with Pakistan and India. Yes, that's what I would expect. The ring knockers need a war. Alright, let's break down what the Washington Supreme Court decided today. In the case of State vs. Gator's custom guns, the court examined the constitutionality of engrossed Senate Bill 5078. which prohibits the manufacturer distribution, importation, and sale of firearm magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds. The court concluded that these large capacity magazines are not arms protected by either the Washington State Constitution or the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution. They stated, Y'all can put 10-round magazines in those guns and still be able to defend yourselves. So we think that that's perfect because we get to make that decision. No, no you don't. And they don't have that accent in Washington State. But this interpretation suggests a narrowing of what is considered protected under the right to bear arms. Focusing on the types of equipment deemed essential to self-defense is a different move. Have these judges read the Heller decision? Anything that is in common use and you need the magazines to make the guns operate and most every gun that's out there except for these bitch ass states they are in standard capacity form and there's lawsuits in these states challenging that and there's federal lawsuits that could change that as well. And it's decisions that's a precedent that could influence other states and courts. By distinguishing between a firearm and their accessories, the court opens the door for further regulations on items like magazines, potentially without infringing on a constitutional right to bear arms in their mind. However, this raises concerns among us, gun owners and gun advocates, if magazines can be regulated in this manner, what's next? We've already seen how some places want to put background checks on barrels. Could this lead to more restrictions on other firearm components and accessories? Yeah, if this was to run wild, it absolutely will. Now, it's worth noting that not all of the justices agreed with the decision. It was a 7-2 decision. In her dissent, Justice Cheryl Gordon McLeod, she argued that, and these are her words, not mine, quote, millions of law-abiding Americans have chosen to use semi-automatic weapons and high-capacity magazines for self-defense. So it necessarily follows that the Second Amendment protects the arms-bearing conduct at issue here. Now this highlights an ongoing debate about what constitutes arms and the extent of the Second Amendment protections for them. This is our last Trump mystery box drop. To wrap up here, The Washington State Supreme Court's decision marks a significant moment in the ongoing conversation about guns right now in America and gun rights. But the Supreme Court of the United States is sitting on an assault weapon ban and a magazine restriction ban case right now, actually two cases, that could push the court to take up the SNOPE and Ocean State tactical cases. This decision today could help get us over that finish line. The Supreme Court, I think it's nine, or it could be ten now, I think it's nine or ten. times that they have had these cases before them for conference, which is when all the justices vote. We're going to take this up or not, or we're going to punt it down another week and see if we have more information then. And 10, 9 or 10 times they've punted it to the following week. And that's not necessarily bad because Ocean State Tactical is not a final judgment case. It's up there on an interlocutory basis. So I think that we might see these two cases joined. and address that way. But either way, I will keep you up to date as that could change at any moment. So you're going to want to stay tuned. I seem to have been able to get behind every person who believed that 40 miles an hour needs to be the standard road speed in a 55 mile an hour zone. And I mean backing up traffic for eight, nine cars at a time. And then when that one disappeared, yet there was another one at another route. part of the route and it just became one of those slower molasses and twice as thick in winter. So sorry about that, but it was absolutely necessary to do what we've done today. As I've said, there are quite a few other issues that are taking place right now. Not all of them bad, but there are some serious problems that we've been dealing with. And all of those are looking up, or at least looking stable. Also, again, we had a number of different issues today. We've got another militia unit that is going to be completely top to bottom outfitted this weekend. We were working on some of the schedule issues in the morning, midday. I think everything has been settled. We need to make sure that everybody shows up. We're getting pretty good. This is what I'm trying to do is get our quartermaster people to practice being able to kit out a unit in a minimal period of time. And basically this system, the unit we have and the group, the mechanism we have, is set up just like the old quarter master system if you went into service during the 60s, 70s, or 80s. Now the only thing that we don't do is boots. I have some. I offer boots. Some of the boots that I can offer are the boots I've told you about on the air where I've picked up. I bought out some of these that I mentioned on the air where there were like the garrison boots for $10 a pair. We bought every last pair that was left. You guys may have gotten there, maybe you didn't, but I made sure I got what was left on the shelf. Now, those are bigger sizes and I always buy big sizes when they are ridiculously cheap because it's the big guys that usually get left out for lack of large boots. I have size 16, actually I have size 17s, I just went through the inventory. I've got size 17s, 16s, 15s and 14s and you would think that, oh my God, how many people have to have to kick two cows and he has to make boots. Well, a lot actually. I've got a lot of guys in this area that are a little under seven foot tall. And proportionally, they just need the big sizes in all directions because they are big men, tall men. And so again, it's the large sizes. I can't stretch a boot and make it bigger. Your feet will do that. Yeah, if you're close, you can stick your foot in that boot and I'll throw you over in the stream and we'll get the boot wet. And then you march in that boot after we slog it, we'll get it waterlogged. And yes, that will stretch a little bit if it's close. It will conform to your foot. That's the old trick the military used to do, is why they would issue you new boots. and then do what was basically a water forest march where they do a series of water forage. It was a little trick to that. Most people didn't realize. Yeah, you still ended up busting your feet up a little bit because, you know, army boots, well, they were pretty tough. In this case, with modern boots, not so much. Most people don't realize, and I'll bring this up again, most military boots, their upper is horse hide, not cow hide. That's why a lot of those military boots lasted so long. Because the upper deck, the upper cap, and the back cap were made. It's like floor-shyme shoes. Most people don't realize, man, floor-shyme shoes last forever. It's because they were horse-eyed. Now, the gain is that the leather lasts longer. It's tougher. The negative, which must be a, I haven't talked about this in a few years, oh hell, probably a decade or two, my grandpa was a cobbler, one of the many jobs he grew up in, way way way back in the 1800s, and the late 1800s, early 1900s, and he taught me a lot about boots and shoes. And what he was pointing out is that, yeah, four times are great, but when you use horse leather, it's so rigid, it's so static that when you flex your feet, this is why usually shoes or boots need to be re-stitched. Because where they're stitched, the leather back and forth, back and forth works like a tiny little pair of scissors. that gradually work literally cut through whatever your binding stock is that you use to sew everything together, which is why there are special materials that are used specifically for building even the thread that's used for cobbling, you know, for doing cobbler's work. Okay? So, just a heads up, again, we are on schedule for this weekend. We've got one unit scheduled. I don't know if we'll be able to fit another one. There's two reasons. Number one, we are evacuating certain deployment sites where we have equipment already stacked, racked, and accounted for. We're trying to standardize needless to say on everything, so there's a few things that need to be shifted. Mostly it's the tactical gear. If a unit is kitted out, now I'll give you an example. This last weekend, one of the units was completely kitted out with a combination of M1956 web gear, with some called TA56, and or TA90 gear, which is the modern Alice gear. Not the most recent, but Alice gear has been out there for a while and sometimes I've told you guys, hey, it's 10 cents a piece by it. Well, we did. I bought tens of thousands of pieces. Between different groups, I got everybody to pitch in and everybody knows what we have in inventory. So what we've been doing is outfitting units in the whole group, all standard to a particular piece of equipment. They also get to select. If they want to go MOLLEGEAR, we go MOLLEGEAR. If they want to go the older standard WebGEAR system, yes, we can. And so they do get to select. A lot of people like the MOLLEGEAR simply because there's a lot off the shelf. We do too. I've already told you. We can get it cheap. And we've accumulated what we can. The biggest problem I have with that is medical pouches, as I've told you before. We have another big Med pouch build that's going to be coming up, but not until we get past these company strength issues. Looks like we're doing about 138 men and women top to bottom. And again, it's not that it's going to take a lot of time. It's just we have to coordinate everything and make sure everything's there for what they're going to need. And we have to have a little overage just in case. So we don't just have what we need. In an old part we ran out. I hate that garbage where you got a little dot here and a little key there and you got to cross this and you got to go back a week later and remember, oh god I got to cherry pick this part, that part, these pieces. I need 15 of those pouches. Always an overage. You've got to make sure. You never know who's going to show up in the meantime in a real battlefield or as you should say in a tactical environment where you are building up militia formations. This is something especially with regard to doing in a minimal amount of time. One of the other things I've been teaching everybody about is doing squads at a time and not clustering 130 people in one place. In other words, we tactically disperse. 10 people come in. They go through the quarter master. One of the things I have set up right now, which is we've used only once. We're actually, this is going to be standard for a lot of the work we do. I have these mobile command posts. Now we can use it as a mobile CP. It's set up to do that. But what's really neat about these things is they have a broad cargo door on the driver's side. And they have a regular entrance, as you would see in most RVs on the other. They're perfect for setting up, which is how I've got them set up right now, as an in and out machine. You go in the one door, you sign in, we check your sizes, and then you walk through and everything top to bottom is right there. We pull it off the shelf, you get issued, you go out the other door, you're done. Don't let the door hit you in the butt on the way out. Everybody gets done, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. That unit takes all of their gear off to another point, tactically dispersed. They move over to another place with overhead cover or into one of the other buildings. Because this is a mobile unit, I can drop it wherever we want. And then those people are being instructed on how to put together the gear that they were issued. And this is a good practice session for the people who will be quartermaster. They may not be fighters, but they are a quartermaster. Every aspect of what we are going to need to fight the up and coming conflict, or whenever we have to fight a conflict, we need to be experienced in. We can't wait till the last minute. In Battle for the Republic, book three, that's one of the things I touched on, is the supply and quartermaster and how to a degree, trying to explain how it would function. Both with enemy dead stripped material which has to be processed. First of all, you're processing it for intelligence. You're processing it for material support that may be directly applied to the unit that harvested the material off the enemy dead. They get first pick, obviously. They get first pick on everything. And then after that, the material is routed through, it's identified for repair if need be or it's put into the spare parts inventory, so to speak. That material is then moved into the inventory for issue. Example is you kill off an enemy unit. Let's say a SWAT team comes out, you wipe their ass out. Okay, you've got how many helmets? You've got how many vests? Now, the vests are compromised maybe to a degree. You're going to have to do a survey. Like I said, cut them off at the waist. Mow their legs off. That way you get all the goodies above the hips. Always keep that in mind. Aim low, go slow, hits count, misses don't. So you're going to end up with so many pieces of equipment. Well, first priority is the unit that actually did the work. If it was a tactically, if it was an organized formation, they get to, you know, again, reissue the equipment. However, we need to change it out. We're not going to be wearing the enemy's colors. So we have to be prepared to switch out. so that the equipment is friend-foe ready. In other words, bad guy, good guy. That's one of the many things that people don't think about until the last minute. This is where paints, additional, for instance, helmet covers need to be an inventory for your particular pattern, for the one you've committed to, because we do have different patterns for different formations. They've chosen a particular system. I don't have a problem with that. Most important is I'm more concerned as are they kidded talked about do they have to be tacticool? Do they have to all be identical? Well, we'd be best for a friend foe shoot shoot no shoot always keep that in mind It's not that you're not look cool It's the idea that well that guy is wearing a gray uniform and that guy's wearing a blue uniform and the blue uniform of those guys and that team and the gray uniform Oh, that's like the Civil War. That's right. So it works the same way. In other words friend foe shoot no shoot And this is something everybody needs to deal with. We are on a dead run to get as many people squared away as possible. It is obvious that the bad guys are in motion. Look what they just did with Pakistan and India. This is an off the wall, out of the blue thing. And I will say again about this India affair is if you were able to get an honest response from Indian military intelligence What do you want to bet that the ordinance that was just used by the brackets Pakistani militants is the ordinance that was either A, left behind in Afghanistan and sold sideways through the Mossad, Israeli arms dealers and the CIA, or it was stolen by the Israeli arms dealers, the Mossad and the CIA out of Ukraine? two big, massive arms bazaars that offer a phenomenal inventory in only, even if only a percentage is diverted sideways. For the purpose of spook and kook operations, it is typical. that what you just saw is the kind of BS where just stir the pot. They can get the stuff going and everybody's supposed to go to brain fart or they get paid off. You don't know how many Indian officers are being paid off to help prompt a conflict. You know how many Pakistani officers are being paid off to prompt a conflict. Right now as we speak they've got a little mansion being set up for them in Dubai or in Saudi Arabia and Whichever one after they're done betraying their respective countries They're gonna plop their ass down over there and the in the pleasure palace that was picked out if they're allowed to live if they're if the promises are kept that are made I will point out that they at least to a degree try to do that. I think the best example just is a heads up, as a sidebar. Everybody back in the day in the 80s was told that da da Edie Amin was dead. In the controlled media, they showed a picture of a naked, bludgeoned, head-beaten body with the eyes so badly crushed that the eyes were popped out of the eye sockets. It was put out there so that everybody would believe that, look, Uganda revolted and everybody came in from the outside and they hunted down Dada-idhi Amin. The real story is that Dada-idhi Amin, like most all of these dictators, had a lot of doubles. I will remind you that it's a fact that they know that at least eight different doubles were killed. to fog the trail of what happened to Dada Idi Amin. Now here's the cute part. Everybody was told the Jews, the Israeli controlled media, the Jews themselves, Israel, who hated Uganda and they hated Dada Idi Amin. Well, they were his bankers. And interestingly enough, he left the country and he plopped his Sariar down in Saudi Arabia. And he had three different palaces in Saudi Arabia. Dada E.D. Amin, but wait, he was dead. Nope, he actually got to the end of his days and he might recall that all of a sudden out of the blue, hey, Dada E.D. Amin wants to go home to be buried and he wants to die in his homeland of Uganda. Can we all, you know, just, you know, not, you know, can we all get along? Can we just be nice? Well, of course, everybody said piss off as far as Uganda goes. But what's interesting is that all of a sudden we found out that, no, he didn't get beat to death. No, he didn't get killed by his people. No, the foreign troops that came in didn't kill him. He was escorted out of the country. They got him up there to Saudi Arabia. The Israelis knew where he was, but they were banking his money. And Washington knew where he was, but they were banking his money too. Saudi Arabia knew where he was because they were taking his money. And everybody lied their ass off to who? Well, America mostly, and the rest of the world too. So if you think Mr. Epstein is dead, please let me laugh. Because you should all know better. Now, Dada-idi, I mean, what happened with this fortune? So anyway, again, prepare. Number one, with regard to quartermaster, I'm going to ask you again if you could, one of the ways that you could help the cause in the long haul. You want to help with the long haul? And also it creates an insurance policy for you. Take all your spare gear if you've got stuff. Oh, I'm going to get rid of it. No, don't get rid of anything. If you've got older equipment or uniforms or uniform parts, collect everything, do it, make a checklist. What do I need to make a complete militiaman in terms of equipment? And then watch like Sportsman's Guide and Coleman's.com and Center Fire Systems and Major Surplus. If you watch for all the sale items, you can cherry pick and put a complete issue together that will fit you But we'll give you a second batch of equipment top to bottom that you can store. Now you can either A, put it somewhere else as a backup, which by the way still puts it in our supply system, or we can count on all of you in that you are ready to be able to double our force strength and be able to put a person in the field. One of the things that I watch for is I've got tons of high-end mountain gear. Everything from backpacks that cost $300, $400 a piece, trust me, I already looked them up. But I get them either for free or nothing around the Ann Arbor area because Ann Arbor's got more money than brains and it's a left to cesspool. The great thing is because they've gotten so much of that USAID money and because they've got so much other fed money for the spooks, the kooks, and all the rest of the trash that make up the Ann Arbor area of operation. that this stuff bleeds out in all directions. And since it's not the latest greatest, but it's very expensive, it is pretty good equipment, I've grabbed every last piece like that that I can find. Now, I can take those, which I have been doing, those backpacks, and they go into the kits, like we're talking about, for individual issue. Now, they may not perfectly match up with all the rest, but you know what's amazing? They make camo covers that go over backpacks. So, what I typically do is get a camo cover for that backpack, even though it's a big 70, 80, or 90 liter backpack, a big one, with frame in most cases. But I make sure I issue that with it, and it carries all the rest of the goodies, although again, everything's compressed, everything is folded up, everything is made as small as possible. I stow it. Typically, again, either two five-gallon pails, which those frames are tough for, so instead I usually do the 35-gallon individual barrels. Not the big 50s, but a 30 or 35. The frame and everything will fit in there. All the rest of it fits around it. By the time you're done, you got everything you need in a single container for a complete issue for another person. Multiple pairs of socks, three pairs of underpants, three pairs of T-shirts, long johns, cold weather gear. M65 field jacket or parkas or jackets, depending on what it is some of mentioned on the air. Uniforms, top to bottom, typically three sets, but also supplemental items such as sleep shirts and also shorts because I run into a lot of those. I'm looking at some OD green shirts right now that are going to go into the pile for the next batch of stuff being done. The big thing here again is it's simple. It's not hard at all. Don't have to be top dollar. In fact, just reverse. You do it all by cherry picking the sales items. Go over and look at Sportsman's Guide. Do you know how much equipment is sitting here right now for a few dollars or pennies? If you go through and like I said, cherry pick. If you're a size large, make the kid a size large. If you're a size extra large, make the kid a size extra large. We can always put big on small, but we can't stretch small to big. So just a heads up there. Also, again, I cannot emphasize enough. I know I've talked about the AR-15, and yes, I'll probably talk about it at 8 o'clock again too. Not right now because we're almost to the top. If you are listening and you've committed to the SKS carbine or the AK-47 in all of its variants, AKS, AKM, AK-47 type defense rifles, I don't care what it is. If it's a 7.62x39, you need to buy more ammo. In fact, if you have a rifle you're already committed to, and Uncle Mark keeps saying buy an AR, if you don't have 2,000 rounds for your rifle, no matter what it is, you need to be buying more ammo for that first. Now, maybe it goes, well Mark, ammo's just this price. Yes, I know it is. So you've got to figure out what your budget is, know how much you can spend. And I recommend that you take the lion's share of what you have and spendable. And I don't care if it's only to buy two more boxes of ammunition, 20 rounds per box or 30 rounds per box. But each week you need to be buying more 7.62x39, 5.45x39, because the weapons themselves are priceless. They're perfect battlefield implements. They will serve us well, but we need more ammo. So I'm going to ask you to do one thing. Buy more ammo. If you're committed to the SKS or you're committed to the AK and you love that rifle, you go, Mark, why do I want an AR-15? I fully understand what you're saying. But even though we have vast inventories of 7.62x39 in a lot of different places, you don't. So what you need to do, your goal should be to achieve first a thousand count mark as quickly as possible. If you've got to go without buying some other goodies, then do it. 7.62x39 is a high priority, cheapest ball ammo for the money. But all of you that are listening, if you got an AK, if you got a 7.62x51 NATO, that's a supremacy round. That's a superiority round. We want that. But you need to prioritize picking up more ammo for those main battle rifles that you have. You got a .30-06? Oh, dude, you got the queen of the battlefield there. If you've got a Garand or if you've got something else that might be unique that takes 20 round mags and goes, and you better be buying a lot more 30-06 ball. It was ridiculous. Well, I believe they still have some of that, but you're going to have to call them to find out what kind of deals you can make. And don't forget that little stupid little spring that is part of your extractor system. Then there's also a little rubber baby buggy bumper that goes inside the rubber guide, plastic guide. As I said several times, get five of those and put them on your stowage in your rifle. If you've got the pistol grip stowage, that's a great place. The HK type, there's a copy of it, there's two copies at least that two different manufacturers make. It has kind of a bulbous, it's a five point collapsing AR-15 stock, but it has a couple of bulbous points on either side, which creates a Monte Carlo type cheek rest. Well, those two bulbous points are the length of the stock, parallel with the buffer tube, those are stowage points. You can put a lot of stuff inside those stocks. So spare firing pins, spare extractors, all the small springs, whatever else you want to, and other items. And I would put them in little Ziploc bags, grease a little bit of snot out of them. And if they're like the little plunger, polymer guides, no, don't grease those. But everything else for the sake of putting it in the field and having it where it's going to be ready to go when the time comes. Those stocks are perfect between that and the pistol grip stowage points. There's a lot of junk you can put on your rifle. You have in those points to help your rifle support it. So in theory, you're carrying a gun that could be in the field constantly with proper support for a couple of years. So just heads up on that one. And again, hold on here. I got to respond. Alright, let's break down what the Washington Supreme Court decided today. In the case of State vs. Gator's custom guns, the court examined the constitutionality of engrossed Senate Bill 5078. which prohibits the manufacturer distribution, importation, and sale of firearm magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds. The court concluded that these large capacity magazines are not arms protected by either the Washington State Constitution or the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution. They stated, large capacity magazines are not arms within the meaning of either the constitutional provision nor the right to purchase large capacity magazines and ancillary right necessary to the realization of the core right to possess a firearm in self-defense. Translation, liberal ass clown judge translation Y'all can put 10 round magazines in those guns and still be able to defend yourselves. So we think that that's perfect because we get to make that decision. No, no you don't. And they don't have that accent in Washington state. But this interpretation suggests a narrowing of what is considered protected under the right to bear arms. Focusing on the types of equipment deemed essential to self-defense is a different move. Have these judges read the Heller decision? anything that is in common use and you need the magazines to make the guns operate and most every gun that's out there except for these bitch ass states they are in standard capacity form and there's lawsuits in these states challenging that and there's federal lawsuits that could change that as well. There's decision sets of precedent that could influence other states and courts. By distinguishing between a firearm and their accessories, the court opens the door for further regulations on items like magazines, potentially without infringing on the constitutional rights of bare arms in their mind. However, this raises concerns among us, gun owners and gun advocates, if magazines can be regulated in this manner, what's next? We've already seen how some places want to put background checks on barrels. Could this lead to more restrictions on other firearm components and accessories? Yeah, if this is left to run wild, it absolutely will. Now, it's worth noting that not all of the justices agreed with the decision. It was a 7-2 decision. In her dissent, Justice Cheryl Gordon McLeod, she argued that, and these are her words, not mine, quote, millions of law-abiding Americans have chosen to use semi-automatic weapons and high-capacity magazines for self-defense. So it necessarily follows that the Second Amendment protects the arms-bearing conduct at issue here. Now this highlights an ongoing debate about what constitutes arms and the extent of the Second Amendment protections for them. To wrap up here, the Washington State Supreme Court's decision marks a significant moment in the ongoing conversation about guns right now in America and gun rights. It's essential to stay engaged and informed as these discussions evolve, guys and gals. We shall see what the next step is here specifically for this issue here in Washington. But the Supreme Court of the United States is sitting on an assault weapon ban and a magazine restriction ban case right now, actually two cases, that could push the court to take up the SNOPE and Ocean State tactical cases. This decision today could help get us over that finish line. The Supreme Court, I think it's 9, or it could be 10 now, I think it's 9 or 10 times that they have had these cases before them for conference, which is when all the justices vote. If we're going to take this up or not, or we're going to punt it down another week and see if we have more information then. And 9 or 10 times, they've punted it to the following week. And that's not necessarily bad because Ocean State Tactical is not a final judgment case. It's up there on an interlocutory basis. So I think that we might see these two cases joined and addressed that way. But either way, I will keep you up to date as that could change at any moment. So you're going to want to stay tuned. And it's one of the other reasons you keep putting it off, but the only thing that's going to settle this is an American war for independence. Anything else is just you just rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic nonstop. And that's exactly what's being demonstrated here. Everybody knows, they know, everybody knows it's all BS, but they are getting paid through people who have to foot the bill or a bunch of people who collectively get together to help the people out that are in trouble. But it's resource that could be better spent somewhere else and certainly not given to parties who truly have no interest in your liberty in any way, shape, or form. They're simply profiteering and again, destroying the foundational fabric of the base elements of liberty. Article 1 of the Bill of Rights is freedom of speech. Article 2, arms to protect Article 1 and all the rest and ourselves most critically to physically protect ourselves. We have to have equity with the government, not an inferior standing. That is something else that has to be pointed out which all lawyers will refuse or try to avoid like the plague because they're still beholden to the bar. and they're still beholden to a whole lot of other creatures to maintain the court's business. Of course, that's under the Admiralty Court, which is our biggest problem. We're not in the right court to begin with, so they can keep regurgitating this debris over and over and over again. Now, it doesn't mean you don't fight there, but it's something that needs to be changed. Go ahead, call her, jump in there. You've got John here. Change topics just a smidge here. Go ahead. The video on the opening of the 50 count can, that was definitely a learning process. Real quick, the camcorder that my cohort had, my one companion had, would not record on his memory stick and it wasn't rate protected. There was nothing on it. So, like I said, we had a backup with a cell phone. So I took your recommendation. We did a second filming just showing what was in the can and that's still a lot of the packing. It was grainy because he put in a different memory stick and it was recording. But anyway, I managed to get the two videos down. One was an AVI. One was an MP4. I managed to get them converted and whatnot. I'm getting ready to post it. So that's gone on this project. Second topic, there is a book that I am reading now called On Killing. That's On Killing, On Killing. And it's the psychological cost of learning to kill in war and society by Lieutenant Colonel Dave Grossman. Grossman. Interesting book in a sense because he goes into psychological aspects, I'm about 20% into it, but it's opened my eyes quite a bit to the fact when he made his first statements of going, this doesn't make sense. But he said that up into World War II, most people were non-firers, most soldiers in combat were non-firers. It was like, yeah, and for whatever reason they could not take a human life, but they would help with anything that needed to be helped with. So that's something to take an advantage, but he goes on to talk about the factors for that. I think the biggest thing he touched on was the guilt of not doing your job to help your fellow I don't know if you've read it. Have you read that one? No, I haven't. But there's quite a few studies that were done and that have been made public in several other texts in similar vein discussing the whole issues of putting people in the field and actually getting them to pull the trigger. And I think it's fascinating, not just pull the trigger, but also in many cases, as was discussed, oh, men staring at goats. They bring up a Department of Defense study that was done with the McNamara group. And what they were doing is interviewing not just the rank and file, you know, a soldier, but the sergeants, because the sergeants are the ones running everything. They were the ones paying attention to who was doing, basically who was doing what, as is their job, that's what they're supposed to do. And they pointed out that in both interviewing the individuals who were the infantrymen, Marine or Army, or the NCOs, that a percentage of the people might be shooting even, they might actually be pulling the trigger, but they're not trying real hard to hit what they're supposed to be aiming at. Well, under the very same premise that this gentleman is talking about, sounds like that's what he's pointing out, is either A, the individuals may not pull the trigger for a number of different reasons. Fear is a big factor no matter what. And again, more on that in a minute. Fear is, number one, the bottom line to a lot of the problem because a lot of people are thinking about that next bullet is going to be me. If you see enough people shot in a very, very short period of time, you realize that you're probably on the list of things to do. And so this actually hampers the individual's actions to motivate and get into the conflict, to actually return in the conflict the same amount of course you force. Eventually, it's understood, and this is the other part of the psyche, as you pointed out, that as you were saying, some people won't shoot. Well, if they do shoot, the idea is at least by contributing noise and bullets going down range, at the very least they're participating. Now, whether or not they're actually aiming at anything or can find a target to aim at, this is another problem. And unfortunately, whoever gets more motivated to actually aim usually wins. That's just something we should think about. Now, the other factor, which has to do with fear, is what kind of army do you have? Okay. One of the things they don't talk about is why do you think they wanted a volunteer army? It's not that they were worried about the draft. They can always pull the draft up. But what was the argument for just going volunteer as much as anything? And I actually have pointed this out as an argument from another direction about the whole idea about lamenting about going to war. The World War II, or go ahead before we jump in there. If they figured if somebody volunteered, they would be more apt to fill the role. Exactly, and because of what we're talking about here, let's think about this. Civil War was a bloody mess. It was classic medieval hacking and shopping with the latest weapons added to the inventory. Because when push came to shove, if you go to Shiloh, Gettysburg, or any of these battles, it was a bloodbath at point blank range. The only difference, there was a staccato of noise that was added from small arms fire instead of the sound which many people used to describe. It sounded like a hundred thousand blacksmiths working all at once in medieval warfare. Well, that was traded out. Yeah, we don't use battle axes and broadswords. Well, wait a minute. Yeah, they still did. More on that. But in the Civil War, you add small arms fire, which gave everybody an equal potential to reach farther, but you still close the distance. That war did have a draft, but only about from the middle of the war on, in the initial stage, it was a volunteer force on both sides. Neither side was conscripting. Remember that. World War I, it's a total conscript operation. There were very few people who actually jumped out and said, boy, I want to go fight the Hun. That didn't happen. Contrary to propaganda, they tried to push. Most people were, again, drafted into service. So you have a very different mindset. How did you get here? Well, they dragged me here at gunpoint. World War II, no matter what anybody says, yes, there's a whole bunch of people who went out because of Pearl Harbor and they signed up right away. They only lasted so long. And in fact, even as they initiated the action and set up for Pearl Harbor, which was a set up, they already were in motion with an expansion of the draft. So you don't get individuals who necessarily want to be there. You get people who were there because they were put there. And that creates a very different dynamic with regard to the individual's performance. Now that's the difference, and I don't know, maybe you remember this. When I was in the 70s, the big question when anybody would talk about their Vietnam services, were you there before or after 66? And by the way, in special, I'm sorry, repeat. I was there slightly after 66. Right, but it's also the cutoff date for Special Forces. 65. When did you get your berets? 65 or earlier? Seriously, why did they ask that? No, I'm talking, this is a question that guys would ask each other if they said, I gotta put, it's rhetorical. What I'm saying is, people would ask, well I was in Vietnam, oh cool. What year were you in? Well, 64, 65. Okay, you know what SF really what you're cheering your brain now Why was that critical and this this conversation doesn't exist with any newer people younger people? Because if you pay attention and you go back and look at the order of battle of Vietnam before 66 There weren't that many drafted people That were being dumped into Vietnam Now we already Johnson was motive mobilizing and throwing people in there. They make no mistake about that But initially, it was the higher end of the elite or volunteer force that was put into Vietnam. So you had a very different mindset going in there about what you were doing and why you were there. And you accepted the idea that this was your business, this is your job, this is what you do. So the attrition rate wasn't that high considering how far out on a limb most of those units were. When the escalation took place with special forces, all you have to do is go find a history of the US Army. There are several good, large 9x12 pictorials that are usually about Bible thickness that cover all of the formations of the US military from the Revolutionary War to present day or at least the last day that that book was printed. During Vietnam, we went from a handful of SF groups to all of a sudden, for whatever reason, with Johnson in power, somebody got the idea that we need a whole bunch of special forces groups. In fact, we're almost going to make the whole stinking military deployment over there, special forces. If you don't think so, I'm going to ask you something. What was the highest numerical designation? for a Special Forces group in Vietnam. In other words, there's the first SF, second SF. How far up did that go? Now, this is why guys would ask, when did you earn your Bray? And we got, you know, I think, John, we've gotten into this before. Guys, initially, you know, 100 men will test today, but only three when the Green Beret. Okay, three guys out of 100. And the 100 who tested already had to be kind of like the upper-end. Right? Little three guys test and win. The others, well, come back again later. The problem is that all of a sudden, it wasn't that cream of the cream. It was, we got to fill, I don't want to ruin this for you. I want you to go take a look at what the highest numerical designation for a Special Forces group was because it shows you where they were headed mentally. Because there's a weird gap. I'll ruin it for you. It goes up so far, then there's a weird gap. And all of a sudden, it's like, many SF groups. First of all, how many people were in a Special Forces group? Of that, how many were part of the A detachment, or you know, A element, or B element? An A team is just the tip of the spear. There's a whole bunch of other people that have to be there to make SF work. And they have to be SF qualified. So all of a sudden you went from two or three special forces groups, highly trained, very motivated, typically career. If they got in, they probably stayed in. I know a lot of guys that did. And this goes through to the 4th, the 5th, the 6th, and well, I worked with 12th SF. Okay? And by the time I'm with them, it's after Vietnam. And again, what they did is they took these units that were active and reverted them to reserve or state forces, depending on what it was, which unit it was. But because of this, there was a heavy watering down of SF. Now, then add to that the fact that you had MACV SOG, you had all these other off-the-wall units that most you've never heard of that were smaller elements that literally pulled men from the best of what was available out of this new Special Forces Legion that they were creating, legions of Special Forces, and it was watered down even farther. So there was an attitude that I observed, and I watched this for years. You don't see, nobody thinks about it now because this has been, you know, this has been 50 years ago. This is the year 2025. That was 1975. 76, 77, 78, 80, 81. What main difference, if you were amongst a crew like this, well first qualifier is kind of like a pass coin thing. Well, what year were you in the NAM? Well, it's been three tours. Well, what did you send your first tour? Well, who were you with? Everybody always has a little question and answer session. And with Special Forces, this was a major dividing line. Now it doesn't mean they didn't think you were qualified, but the quality of the product was, again, like I said, it was thinned out because you just had to have the bodies to fill out Special Forces Group after Special Forces Group after Special Forces Group, et cetera. But all those units? They were volunteers. They were all people who wanted to be there. Some of them really liked what they were doing, and they liked doing it a lot. So you didn't have any problem with them A, aiming, B, pulling the trigger and C, killing somebody. In fact, they would use a lot of other weapons to do that. The other thing that I think I don't carry into that book, did they discuss the idea that, well, it's one thing if you're pulling a trigger on a rifle or you're pointing at somebody, But, it's not so bad if you're pulling the langer down an artillery piece because you don't see what you do. He's starting to touch on that now. And he said that the majority of the casualties come from artillery or mortar weapons like that as opposed to small arms fire. Right, indirect fire gets you every time. That's what I've said a million times here. This is why wrap around body armor. Now, this is my advertisement for wrap around body armor. I know plate carriers are in vogue, but all plate carriers are a couple of chicken plates. One in the front, one in the rear. Most of what you're going to have to worry about, and you're even seeing this in Ukraine, is any direction, small fragmentation and large fragmentation. If it's really big, it's got you. There's not much anything you can do to slow it down. But a lot of it is a very efficient, effectively dispersed fragmentation from grenade, light mortar, mid-sized mortar, heavy mortar, and artillery. And they've become, the whole science of making the distribution of fragmentation more efficient to cover the entire impact area has gone up dramatically. So full body armor is especially useful of any kind. I don't care what level it is. It will still stop more stuff than your flesh and bone will. And that's something we got to remember no matter what. Up armor a little and still carry the plates whenever you want to. But a full body armor component that does the sides, does the front, does the back, soft armor should be your first priority. Go ahead, jump in there please. Also in that book he talks about what they discovered after World War II and the interviews that everybody talked about Marshall and some other folks that did these interviews and those theories was They realized that they had to train the people to do their job. He talked about your two brains. Now one overrides the other in a stressful situation. He said in Vietnam, the actual number of fires increased, which is interesting. He talked about the number of rounds fired at somebody, which was interesting. Then he started to go into how carpet bombing didn't work and why. You know, your different stages of your mind, your four stages, fight, flight, submit, etc. I can't remember. Like I said, I'm only into 20% of it. I'm not saying I believe everything he says because if you're in combat, you don't know what's going to happen. It's a toss of the dice. You really don't know. The other interesting thing that he brought up was that if someone is in constant combat for 60 days, they are going to suffer what would you call combat fatigue or psychological insanity, whatever. It's interesting the way he brought that up, but 60 days is it. I forget where they were fighting. I don't think it was the Falklands. He said the British would have people on the line for a week and they would take them out for three or four days and pull them back. He said just the idea that you are getting someone out of danger, out of harm's way, out of the misery, the weather, the crappy food. We have a chance to refresh their psyche and be ready to go. Very interesting topic, something to think about if we do have to start our little conflict and go in and straighten it out. We might want to consider having tag teams. A is in there now. It's been a week. Pull them out. Put team B in. been a week, put team C in, you know, something along that line, rotate the troops so that they're not going to get combat fatigue or go insane. As much as anything, the fatigue issue, okay, it's the old story, there's only so much adrenaline rush your body can handle. That's the basic rule. In fact, at a given point, you deplete that reserve and it is impossible for the body to constantly resupply and re-engineer to produce more. And so you get, that's where you hit that, what they call the plateau. Now, I have a study, and I brought it up many times over the last 30 years, and I'm gonna have to pull it out of the files here again, but that's exactly what this is, is a psychological survey of mental and physical endurance, and there are actual whole fatigue scales. These came out in World War II. This was actually part of the working knowledge of World War II that they used. It understood exactly what the basic endurance level, the macro pattern would be for a unit. Given a particular size, it didn't make any difference. The humans themselves, if they were in constant contact, you knew that you could run them for so many days nonstop without sleep. You knew that you could run them so many days or weeks with minimal nutrition. And there was a whole scale for minimal calorie consumption if that's all that you could provide the troops with. And they actually knew this even when they went into the early days of the war, like when you were fighting in the Philippines, like with Bataan and all of that. They knew that they were on the downswing from the moment they hit the ground there, once the Japanese had established a tow hole down the islands. Now what's interesting is when we get to Korea, that's the one they always want everybody to forget. It was much easier. My uncle said this. Uncle Lloyd, I wish he was alive. I actually would get him up on the air. He's the quietest, nicest guy you could ever meet. I'm serious. He had 13 kids. Okay. My aunt Helen, this is his wife. He went to Korea and was there for the duration. He was there fighting in Korea during the Korean War, I call it conflict. He goes, I don't know what kind of conflict you're talking about. It looked like a war to me. But one of the things he would say when he would be talking, he couldn't help it. He goes, you know, I can't do it. But his voice would twang, it would crack. He goes, I don't know how many people I killed. He goes, but it wasn't difficult to do because literally, I mean, when you talk about aiming, he was there when the yaloo was crossed. And he says, nothing that you've ever seen will help you to imagine what that was like. He said, when I pulled the trigger, I know I hit somebody. Why? Because there was a carpet. And when he said a carpet, he goes, there's no image you see. Literally, imagine human beings shoulder to shoulder and front to back for as far as you can see coming across after they got across the bridge, after they caught the bridges that we wouldn't bomb. And he goes, every time I pulled the trigger, I killed somebody. He goes, I know I did. Why? Because I couldn't miss. And I'm using a 30-06. He goes, I'm going through two, three people every time I pull the trigger. How do I know that? Because I'm watching them drop. But here's the thing. There was no, well, his feelings, those are his. But it was a lot easier because there simply was, there was no possibility of not participating. If you did participate, you were going to kill someone. You just couldn't help it because the target rich opportunity, the environment, was such that when you pull the trigger, you hit someone. Now in that situation, he goes, after that, everybody caught on. By God, if you don't fight, they will roll over you like a wave and eat you. But he would always say that. He goes, I don't know how many people I killed. But he also didn't have a problem. And he goes, if I hadn't done that, I wouldn't be here right now. And they were all highly motivated to kill him. He never had a bad feeling about that or any compunxious anything. Otherwise, he was like, oh no, I had to do what I had to do or I wouldn't be here today because trust me. And even then, there's a whole lot of people he served with that weren't here to talk about it because they lost a lot of people. Another interesting thing that he brought up in there was the The government, military, whatever, realized that they needed to train people to overcome that revulsion of killing another human. And that's where training came in place so that no matter what the situation is, like you always say, you revert to your training and you'll succeed. And he said that's what got people through. Korea and then especially Vietnam was the training and in that company the wondering was it back in the 80s early 90s the police and the military started using targets with grandma on them and grandpa and little kids and everything and I would imagine that was probably part of that process he said because Bullseye shooting was out of the question at that point. He said there was no more Bullseye shooting you were shooting it targets to simulate a human being. following through on the execution of contributing to the firefight or contributing to whatever close quarter action they're involved in. They did a pretty good job of recording as much as they possibly could. They came to the conclusion that what they needed is to first of all eliminate the random factor of I don't want to be here. Now, you may find out later after you volunteered that you didn't want to be there. But there's an old saying, you signed the contract, son. And it's not like anybody dragged you here. That's the problem I have with the whole thing now that you're supposed to feel bad with everybody. Oh my God, it was so terrible. So when were you drafted? What? When were you drafted? Well, I wasn't drafted. Yeah, I know you weren't because I wasn't. And I was at the very end of the draft. I would have been. Don Betcher was in the next cycle to be drafted. If you got your number pulled during the middle 70s, late 70s, or forgive me, early 70s to middle 70s, you were going either to Vietnam or Korea. because they were rotating that many people, but they were cycling it down. Don, his name actually was on the roll, and I remember he used to talk about that all the time. He goes, oh yeah, my name was up. And then they canceled the draft. And I was the next group after that. And again, instead, I, yeah, I know, I volunteered. But the fact is that by volunteering, the first factor of, again, why are you here? is overcome. Now you volunteered, you wanted to be here, do you want to be successful? Here's what you have to do to be successful. Successful in this case is survival. And so that was what was emphasized is none of you were drafted, all of you were volunteers. Now since you were motivated to sign on the dotted line, you better get motivated to learn the trade. Now if you're really excited about certain things, we'll even give you a different job and you can even do more gory and scurrilous things and you get a pat on the head and squeeze on the ass for it. In other words, you know, there's all kinds of exciting jobs out there. I came in at the end of Vietnam when everybody was heading towards the door. It doesn't mean that everybody left, but what it meant is that it was a market opportunity to do pretty much anything you wanted to with your career track. And I took advantage of that. I got a chance to do things you don't do anymore. And love. Not for the time being. They got thin again, it would be. But it's just the idea that, no, if you were willing to step up to the plate, they got a job for you. Go ahead, call or jump in there, please. Well, it wasn't so bad. You could, hey, think about it. You could commit genocide for the coach from up. I just can't. Well, the idea is that more important is, again, there are a lot of unique jobs that the biggest problem you've got is you're competing in different windows with a lot of other people. Now, it doesn't mean that I was incompetent. Out of 500 tested for the one course that I took, I graduated number one through six, depending upon which element of the course. Out of 500, 506 people. So I can say that with their testing standards, which by the way would I've heard here's what's fascinating John I don't know if you've listened to some of the stuff that people are yapping now Which makes me wonder about a lot of these different special warfare units But they they look down or they're they flack their yap about the Vietnam era or end of the Vietnam era training and then it was well It's a really psychotic stuff. They were doing some really hardcore stuff. It's like well, I thought that's why you joined Yes, they were doing hardcore stuff fill in the bracket. You'll put brackets around stuff and it's bizarre because the idea was that they had taken the experience that they had and and applied it to the training based upon what they knew an individual would experience under battlefield conditions with the resources, the material, and the weapon systems that was presently being used. And I'm listening to some of these little snide comments made by some of these characters and it's like, well, you know what? I don't think they, it's, I ain't no Superman, okay? And I'm much older now. But back in the day, I always got the first thing that got me fed up with was when they kept telling me I was a Strapping young you know young soldier, but I wasn't capable So they needed to shave the weight on this or change that because I wouldn't be capable of working with it when I was working with it every day and I'd worked out your routine example of the m14 rifle Okay, guys, we were told we couldn't carry the m14 rifle because it was too heavy. So we needed the seven pound m16 Anybody remember that? John did they tell you yeah, wait a minute. I'm hearing I Go over Vietnam three months good country. They took us out to the booties and Parked the big trucks and said turn in your m14s. Here's your new rifle. There's a yellow. There's a your fire Fire magazine you're trained. I had no choice. I didn't even say it's too heavy. They just said you're giving it up Right, well you know that's eventually what happens no matter what. Yes, exactly. They came in, they dragged him away. But it's the idea that they told you that the reason we did this is because that, you know, the M14 was just too heavy. And the M16 is what you need, even though it's what I was carrying, it was built to do. Actually, that rifle for me, one of the things I've always said, I've handled so many weapons that I've trained with every weapon you could imagine, some most of you will never see. And of all the rifles, crazily enough, the M14 fits me perfectly. It just ergonomically, it just feels so natural. that it just locks right to where it's supposed to be. I just had no problem with sight alignment and breathe and squeeze and you know, squeeze that titty and boom, guess what? 750 yards, I could hit it, I could hit a silhouette every day, all day, don't have to worry about 1,000 yard shots, and I'm not a grand master and I'm not with the President's 100, but the instructors I had taught me to do that. or he had a background in weapons, but the instructors were phenomenal. And we all were trained that way. Everybody got that training, Peter. This tells me you are capable of... Let's remind everybody about another bullshit line I heard. Well, you know, we don't need a weapon that reaches past 220 yards because you're not going to engage a target past 220 yards. So you don't really need anything that could reach also any more than 220 yards. That was that magic number that everybody parroted and repeated. And it's like, well yeah, for a lot of situations, but then when you look at, and you were in Vietnam, I mean, take a look at some of the fire bases and the operations there. If you could see it, you could shoot it. And you can see a lot farther because everybody got motivated to clear kill zones, break down the area so that the bad guys can't get too close to do bad things to you, which means that if they attempt to work through that no man's land and you have the ability to reach with a weapon, you will hit them and you will probably get these horribly moved and if not kill them. So again, the weapons work, the systems work, and we were told that we were deficient. Okay, and I understand the philosophy and politics of it, but a reminder here again that what we have to do is overcome the idea that we're going to have to be nice in a situation where your enemy would like to put you into a camp and kill you. That's what you're talking about right now. We're going to have to overcome that with physical force. That's all that's the only thing that's going to get it done. That means you're going to have to put down the other side because there's a whole bunch of them. Get off on the idea of sending people. And for that reason, I have to be as good or as bad as I have to be better than they are so that I can get rid of them before they get rid of me. And all of my friends, all you that I like, for militia, we're supposed to always be prepared to fight. We're not warmongers, but we are people who believe in a peaceful assembly of the people under arms for the purpose of mutual defense when the time comes. God bless.
