And we're going to do it sooner rather than later. But this weekend, we were wrenching and turning and turning wrenches and lifting vehicles. And I said, go get a wire brush and clean off those, you know, that distributor. OK? The person who went into the tool crib came out and actually did the job. OK, how I don't know. But does anybody know what a file card is? Do you know what a file card is used for, guys? It is a wire brush. But it's designed so that you can kind of clean up the knurls and any spall that's inside your nice files so you can keep them crisp so that when you want to reach for it and you do that lap and you go, And then you pull back, you know, lift up and pull back and do it again. Unfortunately, I came back to the tool crib and I was looking at, I tried to figure out what I was looking at, it's like, yeah, none of the wire brushes had been moved and none of the wire brushes are off the bench and none of the other wire brushes are where I said they were. I mean, they're not moved. And I realized, wait a minute, what's this? Oh, someone had taken a certain person, had taken the card file and used it. And by the way, card files are kind of a refined piece of tool. They're not just for scraping and wrenching and whatever. I had to go out and kind of remind everybody, we need to do a tool review. Because they did find it in a drawer in one of the many, many, many toolboxes I have, tool drawers. But it wasn't the right tool for the job, for the application. In fact, it serves much better because it would be harder to make a tool a file brush and it would be to make a coarse, scrape it off the whatever brush if you're doing any kind of initial junk work to get gunk and oxidation off. So just a heads up, what we need to do is perhaps with all your people, all of them, myself included, I got to do this, it's like okay guys, We have a mix of refined tool technology. I've got all of my mill and all of my tool and die tools separated, but they're still in the same general areas, and that's going to change anyway. I just haven't had a chance to one more time shift the big garages and separate more because I've got drill presses coming in. I've got another little bridge port. Well, it's not a bridge port, but the hell is it. It's a Miller. It's a Miller lathe. and a mill. I've got a mill combination coming in. But anyway, you need to school your people. Only because the card file would be better used for being a card file than the wire brush would be better used for a wire brush. Just adds up. It's not critical, but it's just remember precision tooling. We're working on that with everybody. A lot of people have never handled more expensive technology. We're working on it. But anyway, vehicles were reattached. Tracks were back on vehicles in other locations. Motors were pulled. People got a chance to turn some wrenches, find out about what other tools do. And so this was a really great weekend, although it was funny because as we petered out the weekend, the weather got good. We were doing this during the weekend when all the temperatures went into the basement in the last three days, which means we had to test all of our cold weather gear too. Well, or maybe not. Maybe just get cold and get in there and do it. So, we're blessed with some more warmer weather, take advantage of it, get as much work done as you can. Now remember, because we haven't had a freeze here in Michigan, I want to bring this up too, the trucks, the big trucks are still on the road right now, running all they can, because when the frost warning goes into effect, when the frost order goes into effect, multi-axle trucks can't be out on the back roads at all, okay? And right now, I passed five cement trucks going to business today, which is unheard of here it is December, maybe in the city, but usually not out across country. But we are not frozen here, not in the bottom of the state. The upper part of the state, oh, they're buried up to the rivals. But we're in the lowlands. And down here, you can still drive a shovel into the ground right now. I mean, you've got to bust a little bit of ice just underneath maybe an inch or two. So a lot of work can be done. Let's get as much accomplished as we can before the war starts and the war is coming. There is no doubt that you're gonna see what I'm talking about here. I don't care what color furniture I don't know if it's got green brown black Black I'm waiting for mine to show up mine are supposed to show up tomorrow But as I checked this morning for somebody else they were still in stock this morning at that at that price over So we don't care what color because, again, it doesn't make any difference. It's all tactical coloring. The big thing is, am I keeping the price down? You could always, and if you notice as you start shopping through all these parts, if you wanted to change it out to whatever buttstock or whatever pistol grip you want, takes you about 15 minutes. And there are some really good prices on collapsible folding stocks right now. Seriously, I mean, cheat, cheat, cheat to the point where it's like, well, can't afford not to have another one anyway. And I really think you should look at it that way because spares are spares and a buttstock in and of itself can break. On ARs, it's nothing but plastic. Most of them, so I would say you better be prepared for that so why not pick up a nine dollar or a ten dollar? Buttstock you know collapsing buttstock take your pick. I don't care what style it is whatever you like I mean come on this you go through the whatever's out there CBNN sports has got a wide selection And they're not the only ones so again for about two sixty two two hundred seventy dollars You can put a complete, very nice pencil barrel AR-15 together. If you look, CDN and Sports has a bunch of optics for under or about $30 or less. Take your pick, some are only $20. To get you on the table with a weapon that's viable, especially as either A, just a carry carbine or as a cash weapon. I had this conversation several times this weekend. It's kind of like there's several people talking about, well, how good are these cheap 9mm that are about $200 or less? Well, they shoot just fine. They're just not. Again, they're a bread and butter Pontiac pistol in the line of whatever company you probably are looking at. So, with that being the case, you know, again, we've got a couple hundred dollars tied up in a pistol with a few, maybe sixty dollars worth of spare mags, let's do it that way. You bury that, you're not going to cry. You take that nine hundred dollar, you know, custom match mid-lap 402 and you're always thinking about, man, I can't shoot it, it's underground. I mean, I've got five of them, and no, because you can't afford to do that probably, can you? On the other hand, rather than one $900 gun, five $200 guns in five different locations, is awfully nice insurance for what's coming. Or, five more pistols stashed in every point in the house so you don't have to run somewhere. You just move across the room, reach into that location where you stash the gun, and grab a little bag with a little bag full of mags, and guess what? Now you're fight-capable. At least it's not harsh language in throwing a book or an ash tray or something like that. By the way, Mark, these lowers over at Palmetto, the list price on those is $389. So, $389 to $100 is a pretty good drop for just having a blemish scratch or a tool mark under the finish or something. Two things can happen. The machine can hiccup and no matter how hard you try this can happen from any number of different issues especially when you're doing CNC. But also the tool can slip. The other thing is usually when you're running machinery you try to get every last penny out of the tool that you can. It doesn't mean you're going to get rid of the tool. It's been sharpened typically, it's been reused many times. And what happens is you use it until it's dulled out. And usually when she starts to get on the edge, you might want to get that last cut in. And that last cut's got a little more of a flaw or a streak or a divot, not even a major divot, just like a scratch, like with a fingernail. And what happens is that specks out the part. So what they do is they designated a blem. And they still proceed to market it, which is smart. and give you a hell of a discount, but pretty doesn't count for anything. It really doesn't. I mean, when it comes to what we're talking about here, saving your life, I think that AR-15 for $99, that's the BLEM, that lower, works just as well as that $300 one that's in, you know, like Perfecto. And most of the time, for people who are not trained, they can't even figure out what the BLEM is. Just a heads up. And even if you're trained, half the time it's been hard, it's like, I don't know why they decided this was a BLEM. But then you look around, oh, there's a spot right here. Usually it's where there's a long, when they're doing a long cut. What'll happen is the tool will start to give out the ghost. And what it is is that there's heating taking place on the end of the tool. The end of the tool builds up calories. When that happens, the material gets softer. If there's a flaw or a long fracture of some kind that still is durable enough that when you sharpen it, it stays together, but as it heats up, it separates. That may create a line, it can create a little bit of a divot. There's all kinds of things that can happen. None of it is harmful if it's an external finish area. What they're concerned with is point-on-point contact. where working parts have to function and you know interact and that is of course the priority. Used to be down at Knob Creek if you went to the back end of the show around with the brown behind the pavilion. Couple of the companies used to show up there with their 80% unfinished but also crude, rude uppers and lowers. And some of them, what happened, instead of the tooling shifting, what happens is the item being cut shifts. And that's really embarrassing because what happens is the cut continues to be made per the machine's instructions. But it's totally askew because the item that's being cut has slipped in the jig. And so there were a lot of really cool, oh, I could build that, where you had the AR-15 uppers, but the picatinny rail was cut deep on one end. It was cut on a can or an angle a little bit only part of it which means you still have enough to anchor a Like a red dot to which is all you're gonna put on the 90% of these things is a simple You know short power scope or a zero scope that's gonna be a red dot or whatever type of lumen you got Well, you know take your pick whatever you your float your boat, but they were $10 apiece Now they're unfinished, but guess how you finish them spray spray paint I wouldn't worry about it because it's a powder coat. Why? Okay, cry lots cheaper. And I'm building this as a handout rifle or as a, again, a berry gun. And we've built so many of these where you get the cheapest parts but serviceable parts, test it to function and make sure it works. And then you cash 20 magazines, a whole bunch of ammo in tubes, along with however many weapons that are broken down so they're smaller, just pop the pins and cut them in half, so to speak. And the weapons there, you've got a rifle, you've got tactical gear, you've got a pistol, you've got spare mags for everything, ammunition, cleaning kits, spare clothes, spare boots, or shoes or whatever you want to leave in the cash, in the car, in whatever proper watertight containers, airtight watertight. And when time comes, you crack that? Hell, a minute ago I was wearing a towel and I was dripping wet. 15 minutes later, I've got some pretty decent gear, a rifle that works and a pistol that will keep me alive too. And now I'm going to go find the bastards that ran me out of my house. I'm going to kill every last one of them. See how that works? So just heads up. Now, enough on that. Well the individuals were Middle Eastern. But the sheriff's deputy turned around and so at 35 miles an hour there was this low speed chase going on in a two lane paved road up on the ridge. They were three full-size feeder tanks. These are what you load propane truck delivery units with. Well, they had another couple of retainers of tanks catch fire. And guess what? They started to move towards the propane tanks. If those propane tanks had gone off, it would have leveled everything for approximately what they estimated, what my dad said. It would have leveled about a mile and a half worth of that area. Hell, that's like a nuclear device. That's my point. If you wanted to create the illusion, you could take radiological real waste. But understand that there is fluid and also tack and granular radiological waste that comes from medical, not just research, but medical application. Some of the medical application junk has a half-life of only a few days. Literally, if they spill it in a laboratory like at the University of Michigan, they tape off the area and then put little signs on the floor, do not step here. And the half-life of that radiological spill can be two days, three days, sometimes it's only a few hours. Mostly it's where somebody did a boo-boo out of the nuclear cyclotrons, which make nuclear medicine for application in a number of different facilities at the University of Michigan. Each college or each research hospital typically has one, if not two, nuclear cyclotrons operating like this. They produce a specific amount of bulk weight mass that needs to be treated and is actually sent out for storage. That's the type of material that an aggressor like the Israelis would use because it's easier for them to steal sideways. Now you take a conventional explosive device that looks enough like or is built to look like a mushroom cloud device. In many conventional weapons produce a mushroom cloud. But you can acquire the technology. I've got a briefcase right here that is a full range scanning system. I have both frequency counters. I've got radiological sensors. I've got biosweep sensors. And it actually, I mean, it's not going to do anything military per se. But one of the things that I experimented with is I took two or three pieces of mylar sheeting and strung them out the bottom. And you want to minimize and maximize. And what you want to be able to do is just like with balloons, we want to create clutter. Well, you do like what the Air Force has done for years with what everybody sees in movies as countermeasures. You know what a countermeasure is? It's a mimic of whatever it is you're flying, most of it. Not all of it's flares and explosive devices, nor cloudy, smoky stuff. Every aircraft has basically a couple of muppet slash mimics of the aircraft that they're flying. With the B-52, one of them you can look up is called the coil. And what does the coil do? If you look at it, it's like once you look at it, you say, well, son of a bitch, they made it look like a baby B-52 bomber. And it's true. Why? Well, because the radars, if you have a skilled radar man, they can tell you to a degree what aircraft they're surveying. So when they built the coil, the coil has onboard electronic measure, electronic sensor schedules, devices that create all the noise and feedback that you would get off the aircraft. Plus, it has a miniature signature. Plus, It has a thermal plume, creates a thermal plume to mimic the quad engine pod. And it goes off in one direction, and one goes or flies parallel with the aircraft. They do a little mix and match, like you're playing the shell game, and then they all break up. And the idea is that the drone, remember, we need to throw stuff up to make them interested. I'm not just trying to hide from them. I'm hunting my enemy. And face it, bad guys could be the people crossing that border down there that's been armed by the Chinese to come kill you. So what I mean? Bad guys could mean anything or a danger of something that you're not aware of. It could be a traffic jam. You go 100 feet up in the air, you scan the area, you drop back down. If somebody wants to build a strictly a 9 millimeter upper, they've got some hand guards that ain't too bad a price. They even have some hand guard barrel nuts. The other thing that I had that I shared was at AIMsurplus.com. AIMsurplus.com. They have their AR-15 charge handle on sale for $7.95. And this charge handle is made with the 7075 T6 aluminum. And that's at AIMSurplus.com. And then the last thing I had was just, I was telling Mark about these drones. And all I'd done was go to the Walmart website and type in drone with camera. And it was for adults. And that's how it come up in the search. And there's just a whole bunch of drones. And there's some stuff in there, in my opinion, that looks really, really well. Really good. I mean, they're two $300 drones, and they're selling for about $100 or less. Mark, that's what I have. I am going to get off of here. We already covered that for $110 a piece. So do the math. OK, so go buy a charging handle for $6 or $7. Yeah. Go ahead. Yeah. Evidently, we are making the salesmen of the year for this little company because they sold two-thirds of the stock out and there are only three left. No! Only because of what I just said. You know what, we aren't going to get a chance to dip on that well, are we? No, I'm not going to be able to. Well, as I said, that's a good thing. I don't care who gets there first. Why we bring it up on the air is because I'd rather our people get it. Everybody understand what I'm saying? And right now, a lot of people listening bought those uppers and they need bolt carrier groups. So if you're looking at this, like I said, if you bought the $110 upper and you got the blower from wherever you got it for, like I said, $100, although there were some deals, there were a few deals last week, not this week. But they've got charging handles from seven bucks to over a hundred. Now if you have to figure out why you'd want to pay 90, 100, 115 bucks for a charging handle. It's got more squiggles. You don't understand what squiggles are worth. Remember the difference between a regular javelin and a javelin AMX? That's worth $4,500 just because of the way it looks. Yeah, if I get this one I can buy my own spoiler and put it on the ass end and it won't cost me that extra $3,000. Oh, but there's much more. You've got to buy the badging too, not just the spoiler. Right, right. And you know what that cost? We had a store in town, a parts store in town, and this is like guns in the same way to a degree. But they had, they had been around forever and they had all the connections. And if you wanted to buy every, like you said, badge, label, all of the Kooterman's proper pin striping, they literally had whole catalogs for going through and just pie. Not everybody would do that. But you could make, you know, like everybody goes, yeah, I got an SS Chevelle. I said, did you buy it as an SS Chevelle or did you turn it into an SS Chevelle? And then they look at their shoes, you know, it's like, well, I kind of, you know, yeah, you made it into an SS Chevelle. So that's why everybody's always looking at the numbers, serial numbers, you know, and also even checking, you know, secondary plates for that reason because guys, there was a lot of that was going on because, you know, the price of an SS Chevelle off the floor was, you know, the price of a regular, you know, like... Chevy Biscayne. If you don't know what a Chevy Biscayne is, it's like that's that car that looks like the same body, but just absolutely plain Jane. Two speed automatic transmission, six under the hood, but if you wanted to buy that body, you could get it right there. There it is. And then all you do is jacked up your ass in, put a spoiler on that trunk lid, put an air scoop with an old dust pan you flipped over upside down and fiberglassed into place. And by God, man, that looks cool. And it cost you half the price. It still had a six cylinder under the hood though. Oh, man. Yeah, you had to get rid of that. You had to put the 327 in there, the 350. Well, 350 was what I could afford. 327, the back of the day, was the premium. It's kind of like rifles. It's like, well, you know, you've got that $6 charging handle. You've got the $100 charging handle. If I buy 12 charging handles, that's like rifle seeds. Charging handles are like rifle seeds. If I have 12 of them, I have to buy everything else that goes along with that, and I'll end up with 12 relatively inexpensive rifles. So all I can live with that, it just has to go that way. You build an AR-15? If you wind up with a detent pin left over, that's all the justification you need to start another build. Right. Looks like we need to get to work here. We're short a few parts, like the rest of the right one. Yeah, I know. I know. Well, that's the temptation too, which is why I've said when everybody is buying these uppers for the prices that you're getting them for. Granted, I pointed out, if you had just one lower, you can buy as many different uppers as you want. Then the temptation is, well, man, it only costs another $100 and I got another rifle. So it's like, I just put another one together and then another one. And again, it's the Lego block gun and the Gladius of our era. It's that simple. It is the solution for the moment, but mostly because of the price. If they still had $56 SKS sitting there by the case, I'd be telling you to buy those right now by the case. But we don't have any. Well, yeah. I just want to point out that we were talking only a few years ago here, well not that far back, a little farther maybe. $69 for a Molson Nagant and guys a parts gun. Go over to CenterfireSystems.com and look at the derelict they have sitting there for $695. It's not even a complete rifle. But they're not the only ones like that. You can go to any other company that's selling, you know, parts kits. And there are nagot parts kits. The main receiver's not there. Everything else kind of is there. I remember when they first came out, you could buy a case of 20. for 600 bucks or less. I put the money aside to do that. A lot of people still came pretty close. I mean we've got units here that have racks of negants. It's just like SKS's. The group of people that were fortunate here in Michigan. And this is actually why militia units, we can flesh them out fairly quickly and also reinforce if we needed to, we can replace quickly. You got to remember, this is the land of the automotive industry here and the auto worker. Guys, I used to do taxes for a lot of auto workers. I used to do taxes as a sidebar thing. I had all the bookkeeping classes and all that. And it gave me too much heartburn because I saw how much money these people were making and then they're telling me how bad off they are. Okay, the husband is working at you know like the Ford plant that's doing Radiators there's only three guys that do the tube mill in a Ford radiator plant three guys There's one extra guy for the off-shift you know in case somebody gets sick and to run and you know overlap on the weekend and I did the guys taxes 164,000 because you would do all kind 164,000 a year he's a two mill operator and There are only three in the plant that are regular, three ships. His wife was a nurse and she made $210,000 and they had no idea where that money went. That's insane. No, but here's the thing, that was just true. Both of them. He was working anytime they wanted any overtime. He'd stay for every minute of overtime he could get. It would be two, three, four hours at a time. And then of course you'd fill in for anybody who was sick. Kind of the same thing I was willing to do. I mean any of us, if you're motivated, you make a lot of money hand over fist. Just make sure you don't throw it out hand over fist. But at the end of the day, I'm doing the taxes and the second year I did them it was just as bad. It's like, well, and they're telling me how tough it is and how bad they had, you know, like they don't, you know, where'd the money go? It's like, I don't know, but when you have close to what, 300 and some thousand dollars in cash, you know, after taxes about, probably 300,000 right? 310,000, about there. It's like you don't know where the money went. And they didn't buy a McMansion. They had a house that they basically, and they re-mortgaged it, but they paid for it once. But that's not the only one. One thing was one person. It was dozens and dozens like that. That's why I stopped doing it. But here's the thing. The same person would, and others that were better managing with their money, would go out and buy a case of SKS, as like we're talking about, and put them on the shelf. And then the next paycheck, they'd buy a pallet of ammo. It was $56 a case. They'd buy a pallet of 48 cases of ammunition. So that ammo piled up to the point where in places here in Michigan, we've got people who have pole barns, literally full of ammo. We have pole barns of ammo and weapons. They are literally dotted all over the state. One of our allies, I have mentioned this man many times, if he hadn't done what he did, he wouldn't probably have a retirement right now because the GM workers, they make great money, but in the In the 80s, they all were betrayed by the Union and their pensions were cut by half and their medical was cut to one third. So a lot of these guys, they wheeled and deeled and winded and dined and went on cruises and everything else, so they may do, but they didn't hold back anything. And they didn't really worry about it because their logic was like, I've got that pension. This gentleman, when everybody else was ready to commit suicide, had bought, just like we're talking about, pallets of ammunition at a time. And he'd built a pole barn, 60 feet, no, 80 feet long and 40 feet wide. And he paid for it cash, built, had it built, and he started putting pallets and pallets of ammo until you couldn't get in there. He's got a channel through the middle. As soon as he saw that he was filling up the first one, he built another pole barn right next to it just like it. Not too far away. And then he built a third one. And you know what's paying for his old, you know, his retirement right now? What it is is he's selling the ammunition to militia personnel, and he's making a profit, but he's selling it at such ridiculous prices that, you know, it's like, how can you afford to do that? Well, he bought the ammunition by the pallet at a nickel around. You know, Macro Van Gunishan was four cents a round and he was buying pallets of 9mm Macarov. He bought pallets of 7.62x39. He bought truckloads of 5.45x39. Back when I told everybody there were only three sources, but the one was over there in Chicago and it was cheaper. Remember, there was a short window. Guys, this is like everything. Right now it's the ARs. But, remember, there was a window here several years ago where the 545x39 was cheaper than the regular AK47762x39 ammo. Why? Because the first MARC model that was produced, this guy on the, what is it, the north end of Chicago, actually almost up in Wisconsin, He bought everything up. He brought in this massive shipment and he remember for weeks and months and then years he didn't run out. And if you were smart, you bought every round you could get from him. And a lot of guys who have AK-74s, they're able to feed their guns for 1 tenth or 1 twentieth the price of what other people are right now who want an AK-74 but can't afford it because the ammunition's gone up a little bit. Still it's affordable. But it's just the idea that it ain't no two or three cents around or six cents around like it was. So if you did it, yeah, you're ahead of the game. If you did it in a wise fashion and still were conservative and everything else, not only you're in the game, but you're way ahead of everybody in the pack. And in this case, this is how we have a much deeper, see, one thing I'll remind everybody about. The ring knockers, the Chinese, the government all figured they'd let you have this ammunition to play with because their logic is you were burning it all out. You were just blazing. So they were making a profit. Everybody was ripping us off in their mind. And they were happy. The reason they cut off the Chinese ammunition is probably the best example, is because they realized we weren't playing with it. We were taking it seriously. So there is a massive reserve of this surplus ammo that we've retained and we've maintained and it was properly handled, properly stored, and it's being properly husband. It's being properly, well, regulated for the sake of having a good inventory for the conflict at hand. Doesn't mean we don't train with it, but here again, as I pointed out, better to use more modern ammunition, or I should say newer ammunition that's boxer primed and reloadable and then learn to reload and retain the battlefield ammo for a battlefield environment. But I've been in places like I've said across this country guys where caves that go back, tunnels that go back, mine tunnels that go back for God knows how far, and they're just loaded. That's why I kind of laugh when I saw that thing in Ukraine, because most of them aren't that big, but that's the same kind of stuff that's all over the United States. Sometimes it's basements, sometimes it's pole barns, sometimes it's tunnels, sometimes it's places nobody will even think about now because the buildings are long off the map, so to speak. But the reserve that we have is equal to anything the government has. And that's not just Michigan. That's all over the country. So that's what's waiting in the wings. And they haven't burned it off us yet. See, usually they get a war going somehow in the country. All the other countries in the world. And then they also then disarm them. Look what they did to all the other places on the planet. We've neither been burned out in the last century, nor have we been bought out yet. Yeah, there's a bunch of whores out there and trash that'll sell their soul in their future. But that's not all of us, and the ones that count are the ones that are armed. And that's us. Go ahead. I heard a voice. Call or jump in there. Yeah, Mark, I bought a Malls and the Gaunt back in 2014 and I only paid $144 for it. What are they now? It's the M9130. What is it now? What? They're going for, like we just said, you can go anywhere and find them listed for about $665 to $690 apiece. What's interesting is back when everybody was buying them at $69, there wasn't really any definitive identification for the different weapons. It was just left and they got. In reality, when they first started coming in because they were pulling off of this vast inventory from Eastern Europe, Yeah, round receivers, octagon receivers, varying lengths and barrels, and needless to say, all the different arsenals. Well, all of that's been sorted out, and now there's an entire group of bracket entrepreneurs and collectors who have completely cataloged and are categorizing everything. And so the value of many of the weapons that you guys bought for even for $69 are you know, in some cases over a thousand dollars. There are certain weapons that as I said when they were selling them, it's like the Finnish models. The Finnish nagats were being sold with the Russian in one big pile. After a little while they started coming in in different waves. So there's an example of investment where if you were, in fact, I will say this, when we bought a bunch of the nagats back in the 90s, When the first batches came in, most of you don't probably know, but you probably, at least you may have heard about it I hope, but you know America made Nagant rifles for the Russians. Westinghouse, okay, and GE made Wilson-Nagat Model 91s. They were built in the US for the Tsar. Remember it's 1891. The Russian Revolution didn't happen until 1917. you know, the communist, you know, Jewish revolution. So, for how many years? You know, they were made... We were close ally to Russia and to the Czar going back before the Civil War. Actually going way much farther back. And it was a great or significant betrayal, but it's because first the Jewish mob took over part, you know, LBUS, and then they sent the Communists over to kill the Czar because that was the kosher mafia and England's revenge. against Russia for allowing or helping America to be created. So what was interesting is in the 90s, what was really bizarre is that some of the American export Nagants were coming back to the US along with all those Russian rifles. And those are rare still. I mean, they weren't rare back in the day. We used to run them all the time. And I'll tell you why we ran into them here in Michigan. In Michigan, as I've told you many times, we had polar bear division troops that went to Russia to fight the Reds after World War I. They were sent there by the U.S. government. The guys weren't allowed to discharge. They shipped them around to Europe, the other side of Russia, and went in and we fought alongside the white Russians against the red Russians. And when that happened, guess what? A lot of the weapons that were issued out were those American Nagants, not just US Springfield or 1979 Enfields. Mostly they were using all Russian caliber equipment, chambered equipment. So what's interesting is a lot of the guys brought their guns back with them. They stashed them. When they got back to you know Vladivostok and you know back to when they were headed back on the ships before they bark They packed the stuff up and hid it away and brought it back home with them And that's where a lot of these came from so here in Michigan. We used to run into the American made 7.62x54 R Nagants all the time and didn't think twice about it not realizing just exactly how rare they were Well, we had an idea we knew what their history was but now all those things are commanding top dollar So, one minute, $69 piece of excess hardware, wait a little bit and all of a sudden it ain't just cheap hardware anymore, is it? So for now, and why am I doing this? Well, I'm qualifying something. At this moment in time, you can build an AR-15, a decent rifle with nice American-made parts across the board. for way under $300. In fact, with some of the information we had here tonight, although it may not last, we're talking being able to build an AR-15 for $265. And we're not talking, none of these weapons are junk. All these weapons are viable, they're functional, their quality is very high, product performance is acceptable. and because of the options you guys you can build a gun to your spec whatever you want to do and if you want to spend more it's like was just mentioned earlier we can spend $100 on a charging candle instead of seven I wouldn't do that but if you want to you know what it's a race car dude's build your race car however you want to You know, that's just how it works. This is America for a little while longer. We're gonna make sure if we're with our guns and with our ammunition or know our our wherewithal, we're gonna make sure it stays America. Free America. Because we're willing to fight for it. I'm fighting for my purposes. I don't care about the idiots that stick down the road. I know why I'm fighting. And I plan on sticking to my guns, as they say. And all you better be doing the same if you're smart. Because otherwise, well, you've already seen, FEMA has nothing but a bullet waiting for you. Because FEMA's not there to help you. FEMA's there to harass you or arrest you or to kill you, but not here to help you. So I think we can figure that one out. Anyway, they were at the bottom of the hour. I think the last year at Knob Creek, we got six of them for like 70 bucks each. And the ammo, 54 hour, 15 cents around and my buddy goes well, it's not it's not it's not gonna go anywhere but up We fought cases. Oh my goodness anyway Reminiscing and and then oh, I wanted to mention you were pushing it the pepper Do you remember that one? Yes. Oh, yeah, that's another one So we actually drove from Knapp Creek to Centerfire, which is right there in Kentucky about 30-40 miles away, I think. And I got a VEPR and the last 24 inch barrel VEPR and what a tech driver. Oh my goodness. Anyway. Remember, those guns for everybody who doesn't recall, this is an example, it's like, well these AR-15s are cheap. Yeah, well that VEPR was as little as 160 dollars, well they had them down to one, yeah for a little while they were 135 a piece, it was a little short air, you know like a little breath of air there. But all these weapons, in fact if you got the 7.62x54R or the .308, The receiver for the VEPR is literally the SVD Sniper Rifle Receiver. That VEPR, if you get the long stroke model, that's the standard SVD, which is the thing that's harder now to get because there's all kinds of SVD lookalikes. The Romanians made them. The one not quite looking quite the same, which is coming out right now in good force, is the M70 model, or M76, whichever in 308. But it doesn't have the skeletal stock and everything else, or the pistol, you know, even the thumbhole stock. But I should say the thumbhole American commercial version variant. Mag it up and look look at the SVD magazines that they're making in plastic right now when they were metal and they were 75 and $100 apiece you don't want to cobble them up, but they're making a polymer 7.62x54R mag for the SVD rifles for like the what PLS you know the Romanian And if you're going to be able to doctor any of them, that would be the one you'd be willing to experiment with because you're not out that much. But they're making it now. Repeat over, please. They're over it. Well, the SELA. Well, OK. No, no. The VEPR, not VEPR, VEPR, they have a proprietary magazine. When they were for a little while you could get the SBD, PSL, for mania mags for nothing. I tried to get everybody to buy them and I know a few friends who did. They bought like 10, 12 of the four mag bundles that came with a repair kit, even came with a scope one bundle did for 40 some dollars. It was only like everything else, the surplus. There was a little short window there. Well, the problem is those mags have gone up to $100 to $125 a piece. You don't want to cobble something like that or experiment with it. But it's inevitable because those mags are so expensive somebody finally came up with a plastic mag for the PSL. Anyway, the Romanian copy of the SVD. The difference though is that they're cheap. They're much cheaper. So if you can get to a shop that has one, I would take the Vepr Mag in and compare dimension. You know what I mean? And you might be able to, yeah, they're building them in 10 rounders. You could probably find it, I'll tell you where to look first to see if they actually have them in stock, is cdnnsports.com. C-D-N-N Sports. Because remember, CDNN was famous for mags, always has been. and they may have the mags on the shelf. But another one to check is center fire systems because I think center fire systems has some. Okay. So that would be another option. But they're common enough that more than a few companies have them and it was inevitable. I mean when the magazines get to be that expensive but the rifle is so popular and there's a lot of them out there, somebody's going to get smart and make a product. And the polymer mags, you can break out a Dremel tool, and if you got them sitting side by side, you know how to tweak. You might be able to get that to work, and it would give you more mags to work with. No, no, thank you. I'll check that out. Not a problem. Again, hopefully ideas, because the only other option is to go to Apex Gun Parts. Example is you can't find extra Hakim mags for the 8 millimeter Hakim anywhere. or for the MG42, but you know what? The MG18 20 round mags, you can take a Dremel tool and adjust those and then add one tab on the back and you can make that make your Hakim a 20-router. Hey Mark. Actually 25-router actually. So we've already done that. I know guys who've done that, but they took a whole because once again, now this is from he doesn't familiar with this that isn't familiar to the Hakim rifles were $69 apiece. There's that magic number in the render revolution market and Well, it holds that it's a semi-automatic rifle for $69 and it's a name-made battle rifle. But Hakim like that like that pepper guys I'm telling I'll got your eye at 700 yards of that rifle. I've taken that got out 600 yards with iron sights and and it's an incredibly comfortable rifle to fire and it is parallel to the grand in performance. The problem is that a lot of them got beat up or whatever and although a lot of people also experimented with them and one of the first things was trying to find a bigger magazine and the World War I MG mags work and Apex Gun Parts has them for about $18 a piece. So if somebody is listening and you're looking for another mag for the, for instance if you have the G43 rifles, so I'm an automatic German. You can build another mag for your rifle from that and it will be a larger capacity magazine. Problem is, the German rifles, the G43's K43s are so stupid priced now. Hey Mark. They are kind of a blue gray. They want about $70 per bandolier right now. OK? If you look at the price when you calculate, you're going to get three bandoliers. I think it's like $77 a bandolier. You know where those bandoliers came from? Let me explain to you how this works. Those bandoliers came from a deal that was available when I told everybody back in the 90s and you know early aughts to buy There were these large fabricated cans. They weren't really cans. They were like just big metal boxes that were soldered together and each of these had 1600 rounds of 8mm Mauser. Hey, wait a minute. It was in bandoliers. Like those bandoliers. In stripper clips, it was that ammunition and you could buy 1,600 rounds in the end of the 90s, in the early aughts, for $60. Now, do you know how many bandoliers are inside there with 1,600 rounds of ammo? Now, you know what? One bandolier is $77. Now it's worth it. I mean it by today's standards. But understand that if you'd bought that 1600 count can, they also had some that were 1400, who cares? The difference isn't that great. But you sell one bandolier for $77 and every other bullet you shoot's free. See how that works? And the ammunition all came just like that ammo that's right now being offered at Centerfire is the ammunition that originally came in these big soldered together. They were hard soldered blocks of ammunition. They were in boxes, in ammunition, in stripper clips, in little guide cardboard boxes, in bandoliers, so many bandoliers per box, so many boxes per big tin, big can, big metal box. You had to take it apart. You didn't have it a pry, you had to pry it apart. You couldn't just open the thing up like to do the Chinese with a can opener because it was literally just folded metal, folded tin. So there's an example. One bandoliere is worth more than the whole crate of ammunition. So how many times over do you make your money when you're looking at thousands of percentage in profit? Not 100%, not 200%, not 800%, but 13, 14, 1500% or more profit. That's if you wanted to, personally. Again, can you buy more ammo if you do that? Not for that price. The big thing to understand with radiological is, number one, inhalation needs to be blocked. So you need filtering systems. A gas mask will serve perfectly. Surplus masks are sufficient. Basic filters are sufficient. Now, if it was a biological threat, oh by the way, they've thrown that in there too, then you need higher end filters. However, most important is the short term high threat because radiological is easily protected against. You still have to take cover. You still have to follow all the other rules for preparation to make sure that you are secure. But a gas mask is a high priority for especially radiological, because the particulate attaches to the air molecule. It's also dust and debris. It's easily filtered. Most of the larger, simple filter systems, anything will be better than you just sucking in air in a nuclear-threaded environment. And what we mean by that is fallout doesn't mean you're right there where the bomb is. You can be down range miles and when that stuff goes up to 80,000 feet and floats back down, once the Israeli government sponsored device goes up, it's coming down.
