And today I highly recommend at least getting everything you can for your rifles. Although battlefield supremacy rounds are more important than anything. If you've got a 30-06 by God, you better buy more ammo. A far better choice on the present battlefield than most. The 30-06 in the Grand, the Springfield, every commercial big rifle platform is available in out six. You'll also find them in 308 baby 30-06. And in this case though, if you've got an out six guys, we need to make sure you can feed it now over at, and you know, I'm going to mention them, AIM surplus, PPU, pre-v partisan, M2 knockoff ball that they produce for specifically the military spec rifles that are out there. Lots of grand spring fields, 1917 Enfields, Johnson rifles, boom, boom, boom, boom, check the rifle. If you don't know what that is, look it up. But anyway, it doesn't make any difference. They have the new production ammunition on the shelf. M2 ball type, but they do have other OTSIX bullet weights and bullet configurations. So if you're looking for soft point, you want a 180, I think they have an occasion hand from Pre-V. The 200 and I think even the 220 grain but you don't see those the way you used to. I love that heavier bullet. The 180 is actually what I prefer to use during the season. It's a freight train going down range and when it hits it's just thud. So we need to box more. You've got to go take a look at what they've got, but they have very good prices. Preview Partisans, Boxer, Prime, Non-corrosive, and Deed and Eeled for the cases. So we're talking mil-spec there and as good a quality as you could possibly ask for. Also, I've had a lot of people asking because we do talk about carbine. Carbine ammo is around. But there is PPU carbine ammunition, best quality I think of the bunch that's being made right now. Now somebody asked me about PMC the other day with carbine, it's of course, PMC carbine, the Koreans mimicked our inventory. They got what we had back in the day and they have carried and used carbines pretty much for all of the existence of South Korea. And because of this, they market a lot of carbine products. This is why you see the 15 round and 30 round mags. There's a ton of carbines all through the Pacific. Many countries still carry quite a few of them, even in Mexico. You will see carbines all over the planet, but too many built and more made after the war and then war guns made from parts after the war. And then there's copies of the carbine that were made. Is it a good rifle? It's a very right. It's one of those fantastic utility rifles that everybody tries to copy in other chamberings. Example is we've got all the new 9mm, .40 caliber and .45 caliber carbines. High point, AR-15 knockoffs, and there's much more, I mean, there are many others out there. But the carbine is just so perfectly The way it's set up. Ladies love the carbine. It's become a basic for the civilian marksmanship program starting people out with carbines because the action is very similar to the grand of the M1A slash M14. And yes, if you got carbines, you need to stack and rack ammunition. Now, nobody's going to be coming across the battlefield for the most part with that gun. You're not going to see an army. working that cartridge. But it is in government inventories all over the planet Hill and certainly in private inventories and mass. And that includes in the US where millions of car beans have been quietly put together and are sitting waiting for the conflict. So if you're one of those lucky ones who inherited a carbine or bought them before they became unobtainium price because they are expensive now. It's not the same as you go out and buy one unless you feel you need to and if you have the money, congratulations, go do it. But if you already have them, oh, you got to make sure you buy ammo. Don't worry about buying another rifle. Buy ammo. Buy just lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and did I say lots? and lots of carbine ammo and keep putting it on the shelf. And you can get PV, a preview partisan slash PPU, M1 carbine, standard ball, 110 grain, perfect for the job. There are other companies out there, so if you feel that you need to go somewhere else, I'm telling you to not do that. Run right over to wherever you're gonna go, but do it. Carbines, we need them in service. We need as much ammunition as possible for those weapons for what's coming. We are going to war in 24. Bad guys, whatever they plan on doing, we're going to be countering and that means we're going to put lead on target. That means put it in them. So, again, is it your first go-to weapons? For some people it is. Just that simple. One of our guys, their combination for a combat carry is an M1 carbine with lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of mags and an AMT and 30 caliber carbine, AMT gas gun. And it's a beautiful pistol and it's in 30 carbines. So all of the both pistol, individual personal pistol and the rifle. RN30 carbine and actually that little Magnum pistol, it's almost as powerful as a regular carbine the way they built it. So just something to think about there. And a lot of those are still floating around. I would also remind you that again, I know there's a lot of people asking about 40 Smith. We have been looking around for it. Some people found some deals and bought a couple companies out actually. Because there wasn't that much on the shelf. It's not because they only had billions of dollars. No, they just wasn't that much available. But they did find a few decent package deals and you guys helped to make that happen. So they contacted the sources and they cleaned them out. And that's one of the things we need to do. If we have something that we need and you have the resource right now that just to do it, follow through and get that done. We're going to war in 24. A couple interesting things. Let's see where first of all, they're eating the cats and dogs in Ohio. My God, yes, they are. In fact, the biggest thing I think that people are not wanting to talk about, you know, I've said this several times last couple days, is that's if you're lucky. That's part of cooking the books before they collapse the country. And these slobs, these turds that they brought in are the ones that are doing it. But in the process of then also fragging the community, wow, what a surprise. I would never have expected that from the Jewish run Communist Party. Well, I would, we've told you about it for years. It's exactly what they do. It's been consistent throughout the ages as far as how they operate. They brought in an alien foreign culture. They know full well it's not compatible. It's in no way shape or form going to maintain anything having to do with the infrastructure and the social structure of the country. They're hoping that they can get people pissed so that people will do something, which I'm telling you, don't do anything. And all the people that do better break out the two by fours and the battle axes and the broad swords. And if the cops get in the way, get rid of the cops because the cops are the ones that are going to jump up as the third army against you. You're fighting two groups, the illegal aliens who have been coached and told, you've heard them blurt some of the stuff out that they have there, we can't do anything, you can't stop us. And it's like, okay, cool. And of course, when people do stop them, and this is what the plan is, is all of a sudden those cops that take and suck off your wallet every day, well, they're gonna jump up there and they're gonna make sure the illegal aliens can keep tearing things up because the cops are part of the problem. Not part of the solution. They have no intentions of being part of the solution. In fact, they feel they are the solution. They're going to have more power. They're getting power out of this. And if anybody does anything, well, they're going to attack those people. So they could slaughter someone right in the middle of the street. They already have been running over people left. Right now, that doesn't surprise me at all. I don't think that's any different from the Mexican invasion. Sorry, guys. If you've seen how the Mexicans drive, especially, if you can pick out who the illegal aliens are on the road if you're anywhere down south in a heartbeat. You only have to have a little bit of time on the road, a little experience, and if you've got a good eye and you can use your brain and you think, if you look at the driver and watch the action, she'll go, see, I know exactly where you come from, Señor. And they know this, this is all part of the big scam. So we gotta be prepared to deal with it. But what we do, first of all, the people who are having the problem need to be the first ones to step up and box the ears. government people who are failing them. That includes both the people who are in the town council, the prostitutes that are being paid by the Chinese and by the Jewish non-governmental organizations, and riding with the communists because they are communists. Don't forget, a lot of these people are liking what's being done. It's what they wanted to see happen. They are doing this intentionally. It's not because they're ignorant of this. They're not ignorant of any of it. Throw that out the window. They know exactly what they're doing. That's like the situation here in Michigan. In fact, they were arrogant about it, but a township right here in Michigan was completely cleaned out through a recall and guess what? Everybody got to open up Pandora's box and find out what was going on behind the scenes and the whole problem were a bunch of bought and paid for whores. that were bought and paid for by the communist Chinese in cooperation with the B-Witch occultist out of Lansing. And the B-Witches out of Lansing? They knew exactly how they're betraying Michigan. And they'd like it because they helped them make a happen. I think of course what you're saying there, Dad. If the cops were on your side, whenever they were given a bad order, not only would they not follow the order, But when one of their fellow brothers in blues got up and did something unconstitutional that is not beneficial for the community, that goes against the people that they are supposed to work to protect, they would stand up and arrest the ones that are doing it. But how often do you see that happen? Nope, and so matter of fact again I've seen a couple of people posting tic-tacs where there have been officers like outside the abortion clinics saying you can't stop them from Protesting the abortion clinic. They're not trespassing blah blah blah But what does he do to the other cop who is trying to arrest people for protesting on the sidewalk? nothing Making a false accusation trying to arrest a citizen when he has no power to do it abusing his authority. He has every grounds to in that video, he has every grounds to arrest that other officer. What does he do? He doesn't do anything other than try to talk him down and the other guy keeps going. He wants to go after the protest and arrest him. Right, parking, jewel, all that sort of stuff. The other one already explained to him, it's like, no, we can't do that because they have a right to be here. It's public property, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And the other one just didn't want to hear it because he was in power trip mode and he was told they can do this. Right. And again, this is where, well, this is why at a given point, military and police assets are going to be divided. Because you're gonna have to defecate or get off the pot. It's one thing to play inside the game because you're collecting your paycheck. It's gonna be another thing as this escalates and it's physical conflict. You ride with the minority clique that are the quote unquote knuckle dragging enforcers who think they're just gonna gain off a power trip. Well, they'll be on the wrong side and a lot of them have figured that out. But in the meantime, they're kind of, you know, they're not really riding the line. I always love that. Well, they're just, we are riding the fence. Now, they're still helping extensively with creating the problem. The enemy that's, of course, stirring the pot. Like the character just talking about. But at a given point, there is going to be the final issue. And people are not gonna put up with individuals. In fact, that will be deciding factor even for many who are the bullies slash the promoters of the police state right now and going along with the communists because they think that's the way to ride. That's where we have to do a lot of sifting. I'm not interested. as much in the people converting later because a lot of the knuckle draggers will see the writing on the wall. They won't convert in their mind or their heart. They're just gonna claim that they've seen the light and in the process try to slide over into our ranks so they can see why a but continue to carry on with that position of power and authority that they have used so extensively and abused so extensively. That's the part we've got to remember and why you need to pay attention to these people now. This is why I said yesterday, everybody, the cameras need to be out there. You need to know who's who in the zoo. You wanna know who's where when they're doing that to everybody else. So they're watching us. Yes, we're watching them just as heartily. And you know what? It works both ways. You're eventually getting into a physical conflict. You won't have to worry about conversation. You're either A or B, A or B, A or B. When that happens, well, don't worry, it's sifting us even more rapid and decisive in terms of action. Pop, pop, boom, boom. So we're headed towards a bad situation. It's already bad. I mean, it's bad in the country, but it's because we let it go too far. Now we have to clean it up. And to do that, it's going to be a conflict. It's a physical conflict that we're headed towards. So let's be prepared, square yourself away, make sure your technology is in order. This weekend, don't forget, lots of estate sales all across Michigan. Some of them are quite unique. If you go to Facebook and Craigslist, stuff is listed. If you're driving down the road and you see an estate sale stop. Now, the one thing I can't emphasize enough is perishables. Real quick, perishables, that's saw blades, sandpaper, drill bits. It ain't the razor, it's the blades. You need anything and everything, as many as you can get, of the items that are designed to wear out in the machinery that you use. And so again, files. Or another one, I gotta keep reminding myself that if you got drill bits, you need files. If you got drill bits, you need files. And of all types. If you pay attention, stuff is in trays for $5 for 20 pounds of this. screws, nuts, bolts, another box has got for $4, has got a, like I just said, a whole pile of files. That's what I bought, you know, two weekends ago. And again, do I do that just once? No, anytime I find them and see them, I buy them. Especially when it's a, you know, $3, $4 for 40, 50, 60 of this, or, you know, $5 for a box the size of a milk crate. And inside is every conceivable variant on the theme. and duplicates of what I already have. Well, that's good because what I do have is going to wear out if I use it. It's going to get tired eventually, and I've got to be able to replace it. And that's why you want to pick up the spares now while we still can because they're available and certainly for the prices you're looking at, they're affordable. Hey Mark, you want to build weapons, you want to repair machinery, you want to work on something that gets busted that needs to be built back up? Those expendables, those perishables are what you need for the job. So let's make sure we invest now. Invest this weekend is going to be a lot of fun, like every weekend. Beautiful days out there. We might get a little rain, who knows? We've had perfect weather all week, so what's to be expected? It's Michigan, we'll probably get some rain, but who knows? On the other hand, You might slide through with more of the classic August weather we, you know, normally August to September weather we get. It's drying out the crops. The soybeans are turning, which is always pretty. If you think like, you know, the trees, the maple leaves, and the leaves are turning, well, farm fields are the same way. Just not quite as dramatic or exciting for everybody, but right now the Bean fields are changing and you have all these many different bright bright shades of green turning to yellow and of course eventually just going to brown. But that's a good sign that the weather has done what it's supposed to do. This dry weather we have is something the farmers need. The corn as I suspected, I want to touch on that real quick, we've been watching some of the harvest coming in. Guys, this probably is a record year in our area for corn, at least for if you went to the fair. We've probably missed it because we have fairs all over the place. But I think they did some record growth in corn. I'm seeing some of the cuts where they've gone into the field and they have to stop because they're taking lunch. And boy, I didn't have a take measure to run out there with, but I guarantee, In general, the crops did really well. We've got good production. The silage is going to be fantastic. And in fact, all the way till midnight, 1 o'clock, 2 o'clock in the morning, the trucks are running because they're out there with the lights pulling everything out of the field. They can't. And, you know, we're using this area, these semi-truck like gravel trains with desert type all terrain tires, oversized tires. And they run along at a good probably 25 miles to 30 miles an hour harvesting. It's amazing. With these bigger machines, they're just literally cutting like a lawnmower. And the semi truck goes right on into the field, matches the speed of the dumper, and they're loading on the move. And one semi truck goes out. Next truck pulls right up they stop when they get to the point where the trucks got to pull away Yeah, the truck starts to move up when it gets up in parallel and they start moving at speed They're doing it again, and it's non-stop We have thousands and thousands of acres being taken in tens of thousands right now And it's looking good now with soybeans still out there But that's not going to be very long and that's why they're working our ass off now because each of these crops is coming in hard It's coming in strong And you want to take advantage while the weather is optimal. The humidity is down. That means storage costs will be down with it when the time comes. That means that'll be reflected in everything else you pay for down the road here. A lot of this stuff is to support the cattle industry, but a lot of it is also for other product use. So it's quite a mix. Anyway, just to let you know, double plus good, thumbs up, everything's going the way it's supposed to. except for the running of the country and all the other nonsense that's been going on with that. One other thing we're going to touch on, we're going to take a bottom of the art break here, by the way, in a second. We'll throw some music up, I think. Real quick, the taxation system that they're proposing is just outright communist, but it's More than that, it is the method for trying to get people off the land and steal it. This is what communists do. You wonder how communism took place in Eastern Europe, cuz first it took place in Jewish run, communist Jewish run Russia. And once the Jews took over Russia and the slobs did the big plan, which is Jewish international communism. Well, later on, once they killed all the opposition, they took over Eastern Europe. Of course, that was an agreement to get more people killed and to exterminate more people in general. And what you're seeing now is the administrative component of what the Jewish communists did there and what the Jewish communists are doing here now, your enemy, the Jewish communist. Now, everybody understand that, wrap your brain around it, doing just fine. But this gains tax, Well, you didn't do it. You didn't get it, but we assume we're going to estimate, we're going to calculate what it is that you owe. I'm going to point something out about that. Hidden gains tax. Yeah. There's no such thing. Okay, here's the thing about this. They're calling it the hidden gains tax, but in reality what they're doing is it's an arbitrary and capricious tax act. Why? Well, okay, let me ask you something. Somewhere up to November 20th, they're planning on a big catastrophic event. All the politicians are yapping about November 20th. November 20th, November 20th, maybe it's when the ring knockers are gonna try to get us all killed by kicking off a war, trying to get Russia and everybody else to shoot at each other. Whatever it is, the economy is gonna be tied into it. And I would point out that, what do you mean by unassumed profits? Let me point something out. One of the things right now that is at the top of the list- It's not just unassuming, pass it, pass it. It's okay, you owe your home. You paid for it, clearly, free and clear. You've been paying taxes on every year. You've never missed one. It doesn't matter what you paid for your house. They're gonna estimate the value of the house in today's money. And if you haven't paid that much for the house, you're gonna get taxed. 40% of what that value of what your house would be worth today if it was on the market. And if you can't pay it, this is the communist part. If you can't pay it, the government's gonna buy your home from you and you'll get the privilege of renting the home you used to own from the federal government. And by that time we're shooting their ass. And the reason is very simple, because, and this is the pull point, this is how the communists stole, nobody ever asked, how did they go from East Germany or Poland or Hungary for those people owning their own property to all of a sudden the communists owned the property under the feet of the people who owned the property? This is what they did, because here's the problem with this. The stock market is an arbitrary capricious casino scam. And purely at the whim and discretion of whatever assets are playing with your money at the time determines how they value or devalue the market. The housing market is worse. Okay, guys, how about, I know a whole bunch of people that bought places in Detroit and not far from or right around the area where Don Betcher lived. And back in the day, those houses were going for $70,000, $80,000, even up to $100,000 on a postage stamp lot. But with the crack war and with the Jewish mob promoting the black violence against the population, or everybody else, guess what? You couldn't sell the house for $2,000 on the same block. So which is the true value of the property? Is government going to come in and say, well, you know, back in 1978, you bought that property for $60,000. Yeah. Well, we think it's worth $100,000. You think it's worth $100,000. Have you looked at the neighborhood lately? Well, that's not relevant. We're going by estimated value of the property. It's the same, you know, looking at the house, three bedroom, ranch style, one and a half baths. You got a garage and a carport in the back. We think it's worth $100,000 and we're going to tax you accordingly. Now, there's no way you can acquire if you accumulate $100,000 and $40,000, $60,000 for a lot that has two burned out wrecks to the left of it, a flat piece of real estate to the right of it, and the rest of the neighborhood is growing tumbleweeds. But that's the kind of, that's the kind of the show that these characters are promoting. And this is what the Jewish communists did. Here, their ass needs to be shot out of this country. Because that's what this is all about. This is stealing the land off underneath the American people. And as far as that goes, it's time to get rid of their sorry ass. But this is where, again, When you're going down these different corridors, think about what I've been saying for all this time. You get to the point, they've had to stop. They've done everything they could to promote economic communism as far as possible. But they had to stop. And you know what stopped them? There's only one thing. Those rifles that you've purchased, those pistols you've purchased, the training you have, the fact that many of you do have former military experience and now have organized better yourself. This isn't Germany and we're better focused on who the problem is and everybody understands what needs to be done So they've had to stop Wait is the fact that okay The people that this is targeting are the people who have been doing well enough to where they're able to be out of debt Now all of a sudden with this thing they're proposing You have a debt that came from nowhere You see it is in debt because it's beating you because you didn't put yourself in debt We're gonna put you in debt. You didn't take a second mortgage in a third mortgage out on your home How dare you we're gonna do it for you you you to work two jobs You work two jobs you ate less you didn't take vacations You didn't take any sick time if you could help it even though you were working two jobs On top of that, you didn't buy into any of the gimmicks or nonsense, but every dollar you had, you'd pay off your house. So now you own, you own. I'm sorry, repeat. Yeah, well that's the person who was talking all about this, as a matter of fact. Thank you, thank you, caller. They're not as many criminals as there are people that shouldn't be in prison, but that's the way the system is set up and it's intentional. On top of that, then you have to fight for your life and you have to fight to keep whatever it is that you earn or is sent to you or that you think you're gonna possess in the way of minimal possessions. It's like communism outside. Well, communism in the prison is no different. So you don't go there. I came home, had about maybe an hour or two to rest, get up, go to the next job, get that done, come back home, flop down, go to bed, have discipline, go to sleep. Sometimes I couldn't because we were involved in a lot of stuff. And then get your ass back up to the first job and start that over for five days plus there's overtime on the weekend. And then when there wasn't overtime, I went out and had a place I could, hey, you need me for a few hours or eight hours a day for Saturday? Sure, I can use you all Saturday. Okay, good. So I'd be working on Saturdays with somebody else. Now, I'm not, you beat my chest about it, but you know what pisses me off is people telling me they're having a total sense of time getting to one job. And on top of that, we're taking care of the family, raising the family, doing all of that, and plugging away at progressively getting to the point where I own what I have. And there's nothing that I buy now that I don't own outright. I will not get into debt, never got into debt. The only thing we ever got into debt, I've never owned a new car. Closest I've got is one used card that we got a little time on and a little paper on there and that's it. Of course, we don't have any credit rating. Yeah, because I'm not doing anything with credit cards. I'm not doing anything with the banks. Okay, and nothing. I'm an enemy of the state in that respect because they can't suck off my time. Now they still are anyway, because you know what? You know what the taxes were on those jobs. You know what kind of taxes they paid? Oh, just through the roof, through the throat, straight into the juggler vein. Okay, I understand that. And so again, we did what we did. You know what the reward is? Now they're telling you you're evil and bad for owning what you have. Well, that's a Jewish communist. That's the Jew who wants your property because they're going to own everything that they want to own. But that's the kosher mafia. That's all. Look at their names. When you go to every one of these news programs, you pay attention, do a genealogy on every one of these schmucks, these worthless turds, these pieces of excrement that are flapping their yap on this crap. And they're all the same kosher clique across the board. This is how they steal the land off from underneath you. If you're stupid enough to go, oh, we just gotta let them do it. No, you don't. We're done with this. This is where you're finished. We're already at the end of this, you know, the point where the corridor meets, where they come from one direction, we stand here and keep pushing them back. Instead, they have no intelligence whatsoever with regard to, and it's not accidental, it's intentional, because the same people are gonna try and tell you they're gonna steal your property off from underneath your feet, are the same Jewish mobsters who have created the hardship of the over-burdened tax issue that we have because of overspending on the part of the government in the process of giving things to people who deserve nothing, so that they can then tell you they need to take more from you to give to the people who deserve nothing. Because that's where we are right now. The people who did nothing deserve everything that you had, work harder. Or better still, just lay there and let them tax you more. Oh, that's not enough now. that they take a gun and tell you that you're renting and not owning with regard to the property that you paid and paid and paid and you either paid for it outright or you paid for it over a period of time and paid actually twice what the face value said. So you getting any of that back? See, they don't want you to think about that. Oh, really? So let's figure this out. How much did I pay for the house? $50,000. How much do I pay out by the time I'm done with interest on the house with a 20 or 30 year mortgage? About 120,000. So let me ask about this, this, you know, unearned profit. How does that work out? How the bank demonstrated that I actually paid twice what I should have because I paid to a Shylark, a Shister, a bank Shister, which is okay. I agreed to it. But you telling me after I paid those same pricks, those same kosher mafia pieces of trash, twice what the property was worth. and they didn't get it back and they wanted to foreclose but they never were able to and so I eventually paid it off to the last penny that now after having paid it off to the last penny at their demand now I need to hand my property over to the same Shylark pigs so that they can what? Oh they're still going to be charging me for being on my property You know what needs to happen? Your sorry ass needs to be put up against the wall and executed. That's what needs to happen. That's that's a little bit of the little bit of pressure. All right Okay Well, you know, yeah, the thing about this is that again You know, initially they're gonna be incredibly arrogant. Yeah, and what they're doing is they're trying to get the stupid ones that think they're fellow travelers, but in reality are totally expendables, to go along with the whole plan that they're talking about. Yeah, we're gonna do that. Well, at a given point, needless to say, those idiot sticks that think that they're fellow travelers when they're not are the next in line, because it's what the communists do. They first find a number of stooges that they can utilize, and after that, they get rid of those stooges by finding another bunch of less than shoe size IQ fools. And from there they go right through the pecking, through the whole spiral, down to the basement, into the toilet, with regard to how things run. And guys, we're not gonna let it, we're finished with it going any farther. There isn't anybody that should be surprised by what we're seeing, but we better be squared away and understand that you are in a fight for your life. It's just that simple. All of the ideas, there's nothing here that, except that you've got fools that are like, well, why can't I have what those other people had? Well, get up off your dead ass and work and you'll find it. But also calculate around the enemy. Example, you know, to be quite honest, if I were right now, if I were starting up, I learned this from my dad and mom. My dad and mom, when they got married, I'm gonna give you that story again. My mom and dad were the oldest of eight. They were growing up during the Depression. It's before World War II. They decide they want to get married. So they get married. You know what they lived in? They lived in a tent. They rented a piece of property off Fulmer Street in the old neighborhood from, I think, one of the old Italian families initially. And they had a tent. Dad scrounged up the resources. This is during the later part of the Depression. Scrounged up the resources and built a shed. They lived in a bed for the next winter. Scraped up and worked his ass off and got every penny together he could and he bought a lot down at the end of Fulmer in Ann Arbor. Actually right down the street in the old neighborhood. Two streets, they're the only two part of this old little, no, they're crack out, not track houses, but series of houses built back in the 20s, teens and 20s. Nice houses, but not great houses, just average little homes. So dad bought that property, saved up all the materials that he could, watched for anything anybody was getting rid of. And in the process, dug out a basement, laid the stone, laid the cement block, put the foundation in, put the rafter roofs on, got the basic frame up above. Initially didn't have that the first winter. So what he did is put the roof on the first floor basement, which had a walkout on the one end. and tarpy put that over and they lived in that for the winter. Next season, they got the rest of the frame up, got the roof on the house bit by bit and built it. They didn't build it to spec. He built it beyond spec. That's one thing he always taught me is over engineer everything. And in the process over the next couple of years, Finished the outside, got it boxed in the rest of the way, got the windows in needless to say as quickly as possible but then got everything on the inside electrified, plumbed and then finally plastered. Okay, it was plastered back in the day. And that house, okay, went back in the 70s. Now this is the year 2024. Back in the 70s, HUD came through and inspected all those houses. And they gave you the option with this big HUD money in the 70s. Now, Mike, these houses weren't that bad. These houses were all serviceable. They would either tear down the house and rebuild it to whatever spec or they would tear down your house and build you an exact copy of your house. You know what? There's only two houses that couldn't pass code by the bullshit standards that they were pulling out of their arse. And you know what? House that my dad built from scratch. is still standing there today and it was never modified and no HUD money was spent on it at all. The place my dad built, simple house, I don't know what the, I can't recall what the pattern is for it, but anyway, it's basically just a, it's got a basement, it's got a first floor, it's got a dormer and second floor. Again, all, it was all personally built, no factory, anything. And, It required no modifications, no upgrades, no changes in 1970 when the federal inspectors were gonna try and scam everybody into getting into government money. Now, my dad didn't own it by that time, but I think of it two or three other owners. Again, there's something to think about there. So, we can't go, nope, you're not gonna step into a five bedroom, three bathroom, little baby mansion, McMansion. working a five and dime job. You can work a five and dime job and progressively develop yourself and build better, but you don't just walk into it. If I were doing it nowadays, I'm gonna tell you right now, two containers. First of all, shipping containers. I love shipping containers. You know what? There's no restriction on shipping containers on pretty much any property in the country. They're temporary. They can be made to look nice. Well, there's a place to put everything you collect. In fact, if all you could do is collect building materials. You have a container, number one is your supply shed. Number two could be your living quarters. When you lay them on the ground, you make sure they go limestone, cement, plate or whatever. And once you got everything squared away, you estimate how wide or how far apart they need to be with the space in the middle. What's your net goal? Save up enough money for trusses or build trusses yourself and put a roof across between the two. Now you got two outer chambers and you got a drive through in the middle that can be boxed up at the end so you have a garage. If you're really smart, you take and put an attic dormer on the top between the two and you've now, again, made one third larger all of the floor space you have available and the attic for us when it goes up. Your second floor goes up with it. You plate it with whatever plywood you're going to use for your decking. Your rafters are all proper distance apart spec. Congratulations, you now have a pretty nice piece of leek. Better than a, I'll tell you what, better than a tent. Better than a shed. The big thing is to find a piece of real estate. And real estate, well, ain't nothing being given away. There are places you can go where it's actually incredibly cheap. There also aren't any jobs there typically, so that's why it's incredibly cheap. But if you look around and if you're patient, you can walk into something like that. You start with always with the plan to build up to the next tier.
