It is the 15th year of open, obvious, and in your face, Fabian Socialist and Soviet Socialist occupation of America with a K. 2023, older calendar, 2023, battle for the Republic, the dance of swords. It's time to get rid of the communists. Anyway, it is been a busy day. Perfect day here in Michigan. Not too hot, not too cool. Winds out of the north, northwest, but slow. You can ask for a better day to work outside, and I made a point of doing so for obvious reasons. We're not going to get much more of this kind of weather. Only thing I couldn't do is get enough painting done. Anything that can be tactified. You need to top off, make sure it's painted. This seals for the environment as much as anything. Now, we're doing a run of experiments with all of the best of our thermal right now. And I had discussed this before, but I'm gonna bring this up again. There is a family of roof paints. Now, I don't know if they've blocked these, because they have maybe more plastine, a unique type of polymer. that is the odd man out, but there's a whole family of different roof paints that have to deal with one thing. I mean roofs don't get too much shade. I mean they get some. There's a few trees taller than your house usually. But the fact of the matter is that if it's painted and it's on the roof or if it's operating on the roof, it is constantly bombarded with radiation. Now most paints that you're gonna run into, don't worry too much about IR protection, they have some. But roofing paint for flashing fixtures and to match the color of whatever, which is really cool, because have you noticed that almost every roof color is a tactical color? Anybody ever notice that? Don't see much pomegranate or puce, baby blue or anything like that. No, no, it's always field color. Okay, which is good because we've been using a lot of this. I've got a source that actually every time they've had this paint, we've been buying it out 100%, every last can and gallon. Okay, but this paint does come in brushable or spray form. Now, here's the thing, as I mentioned a moment ago, that we need to do a full spectrum analysis on. is this high anti-IR paint. How effective is it at blocking thermal imagery? It has to block a big chunk of whatever radiation is coming down range from above guys and the sun is about as, well, it's about as hard as you're gonna get on anything that we have on the planet. It's what creates oxidation, it creates the breakdown and deterioration of pretty much everything is part of that big God math formula thing. So here's the thing, we are right now, I did a bunch of pieces of equipment, I did some of the to be repaired Kevlar helmets, the Italian ones, we got a bunch of those fairly cheap. Steel pissed pots, got lots of those. And they're all being done in a mix of colors. I actually have the, my favorite is it's almost a gray green. It's not quite an olive, it's not quite a, what do they call it, a moss green. It's, or no, Italian green, forgive me. I've gone through the spectrum on this. But the coloration is perfect for all seasons. especially effective for night operations. It is not as, I won't say it's as blinding, what I mean by blinding is invisible, as say Air Force Midnight Blue. You know you think, well blue, how does that blend in? Have you ever paid attention to Air Force Midnight Blue, the traditional color that was done post-Cold War? Guys at night that is a voodoo that is an absolute you are your mia They've tested and experimented with every shade you can imagine now. We're not using a blue We have five shades of brown we have six shades of green We have even black obviously we'll test that but black always retains a certain amount of heat by the very nature of the base on the color range there. Although it isn't really, there is no paint that really is black, it's just a combination of shadings to misappropriate. Maybe that's the best way to describe it. Because shadow is hard to duplicate, but it is done. Black is out there. And all of these colors are on tactical piece of equipment, weapons, even a few weapons. And what we are doing right now, starting this evening, is a much more scientific study of this paint. Now you can get these paints in a lot of locations. Needless to say, roofing companies that are major, you know, not just fly by night, but they're major operations, will usually have the stock on the shelf. We'll give you some name brands once we figure out which one we think works best. We're using actually seven different brands right now. Two days ago I painted 16 or 17, I haven't lost count, Kevlar helmets in the different shades. We are going to deploy these things in different environments. Right now we want to get it out there while the green is still out there because we want to see what it works, how it works in summer condition and then we're going to be able to also look at fall, which is where we have the breakdown in foliage and obviously and then winter. So we're right out the edge to get this done right and we are going to get it done right. We did a number of different defunct weapons that were AR types, stuff that was hangar queen equipment. We got stuff that was butchered and chopped and slopped, so we just put it together, painted it up, you got the right silhouette, there's no doubt what you're looking at if you see it. And in addition to that, web gear, but also a couple of different wheel borrows, things of that nature, which are easy to move around, because what we're going to do is take the junk, You put the helmets in frames so they're going to be up off the ground. We'll be able to pick everything up, put in the wheel barrels, move the wheel barrels, flip the wheel barrel over. We want to be able to see if or how well it silhouettes. What does it look like? So we'll let you know. Just a heads up, this is a new project that has to be done right away and tonight is the beginning of the the videography, but also our R&D. Now we're also doing some other comparable study pieces of equipment that we already know have good anti-thermal resistance. Plus we always put panes of glass and other things out there. So when we're gonna do this image, this is kind of like what I wanted Don Betcher to do as his next video. We canned a bunch of stuff and unfortunately Don passed away. We just have to pick up on this because we have examples of the very latest thermal that are available with the 18th Ridge Metal Combat Team. The units that are here and the squadrons that are deployed have been given some of our best thermal. We also have long range thermal with enhanced optics and stuff that we picked up from a research facility not too far from where I'm sitting where they were disposing of certain things that were part of an R&D project probably for the donut of destruction and we can reach farther with what we have also. So we're going to be doing some unique work here. It'll get into the can even if it doesn't get out into some form of media production. It is going to be shared as a an immediate white paper report so that we can get more people up to speed that much quicker, get out there, get the stuff, use it, use it, slash abuse it, get it where it needs to be. So far, this stuff appears to be the same as the anti-thermal paints we were getting from the Donut of Destruction back when they forgot to restrict the aircraft stealth paint. This is a little epic story back when they first came out with all of the stealth fighter technology and were applying a lot of the new paints. to the other aircraft. They had shot this stuff out. Well, they used so much of it. They only need so much. However, they always said more than they need. And we were actually buying the anti-thermal government spec paint from the DOD auctions for pennies. And we then looked up the price, realized, well, if you could buy it, you couldn't buy it. But if you could buy it, here's what it cost. And it was like, at the time, it was 316, $30 a gallon and we were buying the gallons in pallets with you know, so many flat black so many flat gray so many flat green so many flat brown and We bought the whole palette for $10 I mean, with basically a pallet that was waist high, stacked with paint that cost your government about $300 plus. And some of the paints probably cost more because the write-up that we had indicated that different pigments required different shade ranges, required more of the IR retardant materials. There are three at least that were added at the time and I think there's two more now. And by the way, this research coincided with people that we were in contact with that made the ghillie suits for the bat faggots that were murdering the people at Waco. And going through all the information that we had there, it's rather fascinating that the technology was just slid sideways. And it's interesting some of the base components that make up the material to create our own anti-IR paint. Now, especially if you do this with standoff layers, in other words, you do one layer and then you do a second. This is what most people don't think about, is if you have the material on hand, you do a base coat on whatever your internal material is on the outside. And then if you have any external flashings and armor or panels, they get painted too and separately. And what you end up with is a layered anti-thermal defense system. Interestingly enough, they basically do the same thing and have been doing the same thing with tanks for about 50 years. Anybody familiar with the M61, when the significant turn on the M60 battle tank was to put on the mufflers, so to speak. We ain't talking silent sound. They were pretty quiet as is by comparison to most tanks until we got the weenie-winey turbo diesels got, you can hear them 100 miles away. But what's interesting is the whole back panel was thermally, the thermal target of the engine was completely reduced. And this was a very specialized project with a combination of coolers, anti-thermal insulation and, and by the way, remember the engine never doesn't stay warm. If it's running, it's going to stay hot. So this is something they had to try to defeat. and they came up with a system that worked. And if you look at the difference in the M60 straight, the M60A1 and then the M60A3, you'll see what I'm talking about. Your model builder, you know it right away because you've probably put a hundred, well, a hundred, but probably put quite a few of them together and you can see the difference in the patterning. So anyway, thermal, this is cool. Actually, this is mostly the paint I've been using, by the way, because I've been getting it so cheap. I've been putting it on everything. It's on, like I said, Kevlar helmets just because it's the right shade and color I want for the particular Kevlar helmets that will be issued out when the time comes. It's on a lot of the vehicles, equipment, drag-alongs, wagons, everything else. And I was going to do a little bit more today and kind of finish up a few little things I got to do that are personal property. Just have them all in the camp. I might get them done during the 8-hour. Seven to eight o'clock break. Maybe we'll see cross my fingers gonna stay dry out there. We're not getting any rain yesterday We got rain today. We have breeze and sunshine not found that but thermal anti thermal by the way thermal blankets work There's a couple of pricks that are doing intentional lies about thermal blankets not working Probably feds or massage slash ADL slash whatever Thermal blankets work, but you need to understand how to make them work for you, right? Number one, again, standoff is especially critical. And there isn't a whole lot of discussion. Usually the people that are trying to get you to think that thermal blankets don't work will show you all the wrong ways to deploy them. And intentionally not explain that, well, if used with a little more forethought, they're quite effective, as a matter of fact. Now, here's the one thing that we do know that's pretty obvious with thermal blankets. The more expensive and better dual coated models, which by the way the paint itself is used is also an anti-thermal. It's designed to be reflective. You have the orange color or you have the silver on the inside. Then you have a color, camouflage or orange or red on the outside. You'll notice that these particular types of mylar blankets are also thicker. They have a strident nylon weave through them, a spider web of nylon binding material. They are much more durable. They are really quite effective. Now, if you don't hold them next to your body, but keep them backing away, there's all kinds of neat tricks. One of them that we've done is to make what basically could be called, like the British called them, cambrellas. You know, if you were using these all the time, or I'm with him, no, no, but if you're gonna deploy thermal overhead, first of all, make sure it's camouflaged to the best of your ability, enhance with vegetation to a degree. Remember that that vegetation, if it's dead, is going to give a different signature, or you're not supposed to know that. Yeah, it's true, but it takes time for that to happen. So when you either deploy dead foliage that matches the surrounding area from observation from above, It is very easy to make a very effective stand-off anti-thermal overhead cover that can be quickly deployed using a combination of the thermal blankets, ghillie suit material, etc., etc. And by the way, remember the ghillie suit material. Well, if you go over to your archery and bow supply, you have anti-infrared treatment chemicals available through the industry. Now, there are three different types, and it was those three different types that the contractor used to make the ghillie suits that were used by the ATF when they were the sniper units that were sieging the Branch Davidians. And that is one of the reasons that was pointed out by the technician who created this technology. That's why you could see the flashes from the weapons that were shooting at the Branch Davidians, but there was no target. And in fact, the individual who invented FLIR pointed that out. He says, hey, the reason they can't be seen is because obviously they are using an anti-infrared technology, and they've deployed it. And all it is is just screening material. It's just designed to cover their thermal image. Now let's not forget that the characters operating at the British-Davidean siege overhead, the ones who were operating with thermal, were British military. British SAS, as a matter of fact. You know, after all, we needed more foreign troops in American soil to kill Americans. And other people too. And they made sure they brought them in. So anyway, the thermal materials, if you think about it like you want a breakup, not incredibly thicken your overhead camouflage, but make your camouflage look as naturally occurring as possible. It's more important that you understand how to bank off and layer the material. Think it through, just like any, even with color camouflage, you do the same thing. You have layered technology. Think the same way with thermal. Okay, we've already got it worked out. We just are gonna have to do more to share. By the way, again, tit for tat, the other side has countermeasures technology too. You wanna be paying attention with your thermal equipment. You identify an aggressor that you can physically see, but mechanically with technology can't. Oh, you want that bastard dead. You wanna find out what he's got or they've got or he, she, it's got. Who knows what it's gonna be? Probably someone who's attending, pedo, queer in a uniform. whose job it is to try and kill all heterosexual Americans for the benefit of his butt-aching lodge buddies. Oh yay, oh yay, oh yay. So again, let's pay attention here. The technology is off the shelf and there's layers of it. By the way, there's also distressed merchandise products. If you look at all the places that sell surplus, Amazingly enough, a lot of unique stuff ends up there. We got two pallets of zinc paint from a source because they were, well, donated from another industrial source. And then they found out that, well, wait a minute, they were supposed to have the zinc paint. Well, that's okay. We took it off their hands and got it out of the way and now nobody knows that they ever got it. And we have virtually thousands of gallons of Zinc based paint. It's almost as good as lead. Well, it's just as good as lead and lead based paint is Fantastic. It's one of those things we want more of Okay now another thing it's weapons Wednesday before going farther Over at Palmetto State Armory if it's still there. It's still there if they're gone. They're gone I can't see I'm not selling out because they were so stupid cheap. They have a couple of air 15 uppers over at Palmetto They're dark earth They'll probably pop them off the list as they sell out But there are 100 less than 150 dollars apiece less than 150 dollars apiece They also have complete lowers. This is in again dark earth, which also you call coyote brown but dark earth pattern for 99 95 so $100 will get you a bottom AR-15, Palmito State Armory, blend bottom, and complete everything there. And the uppers, they come both with and without bolt carrier charging handle. It depends. If the one sold out, I know the one that will be last, to be the one that I mentioned yesterday, that has no bolt carrier and no charging handle for $146 or whatever, $150. We'll just say $150, and if it's less, congratulations, thumbs up, you did good. I wish, and I've had two conversations. I think they're mulling it over because the market where it is right now. But I think I got one company, well, maybe even though sponsors some of the shortwave time. Yeah, we're talking about that. But if everything goes well, then we're looking at a pencil barrel, 16 inch, Colt, car 15 type. 16 inch barrel though, and again with a regular threaded barrel, sheen boot or a fly shutter you want on the end. But the big deal here is to carve as much weight down as possible. And I have been asking and talking to anybody who's doing AR-15 production or put together guns to try and dig this out. We need a six pound rifle. We don't need a 10 pound rifle. We need a six pound or a six and a half pound rifle. And we need an ASAP. And it's not hard to do with an AR-15 because the original big brag, let me remind everybody, it's Weapons Wednesday. The big brag, why we had to have the M16? Because it was only seven to seven and a half pounds. And it was so horrible for the US soldiers to carry the nine pound M14 when you could carry the seven pound M16. Well, really? So what's the present M16 family of rifle weigh? Yeah, in other words the base weapon almost with all the with the way they've presently constructed even with the plastic they put on which they've turned around and shuck the plastic in some cases in favor of rail type for you know for grips which is understandable for certain missions but for most of the work and for most of the people that are out there they really don't need it. Now I'm not telling you get rid of anything you've got because whatever you got matches the gladius of the day so buy more. But I would like to see this this light end of the rifle of the AR-15 rifle family introduced in force I would push it hard If someone made it and not made it and said oh, it's classic so it needs to cost $1,600. No, that's not what we're talking about should be the cheapest AR-15 on the market You can knock the barrel down lighter don't need as much weight We can also leave the back end just the way it is the lower. There's nothing needs to change there But you do this, you're talking a rifle that the younger people growing up into the weapon are going to be able to carry easily. And they're going to build into it. If they want to change out, guess what? This is the starter AR for the new shooter. This is the utility rifle for the mechanic or for any of the other people who are not going to be fighting. I've said this a million times recently here to a lot of different people, especially militia units. We got lots of fighting units. We are up to our eyeballs in fighting units. Hell, we outnumber the Michigan National Guard almost three score over the way it's looking. I mean, well, three score, but we're four times over easily and we also have comparable lift capacity in terms of mechanized wheel transport. We can do it more than they can do and we have it in our fingertips. We don't have to go beg for it, sign it out or whatever. That's the Piss Willy government and the annual Lieutenant Control Freaks. We own everything. It's ours. But we need more support units and you're still gonna have to be ready to fight and I'll tell you what you're just as dead with a lightweight AR-15 putting bullets in your ass as you would be with the latest, you know, bajingo widget rifle that anybody can produce. I will say this, there's a couple companies. Windham, which by the way has announced that they're going out of business, the original owner or the man who built Windham Arms passed away what last year? and the company has kind of chugged along. Well, no, we met last year. I think it was this year, actually. Forgive me. Beginning of this year, though. But the company has been kind of chugging along. That's too bad. But Windham produced an AR-15A1 rifle. It went out there. It's out in the market. I don't know what the overall price was, but I know it was a little more than the average bear. So it kind of defeated the purpose. If you're building an older design that's a simpler design, it should cost less. I know that the purpose behind doing what they were doing is marketing for the retro slash mostly for the Vietnam reenactment units. Real Colts and all that are commanding, you know, two, three thousand dollars a kit for some of this stuff, especially if it's immaculately. Remember when we say kit, we're meaning an M16A1 rifle that the government has chopped and butchered up or contractors have, including the people that might be selling the thing to you, like Apex. They may be just, they may be destroying the guns and turning them into kits themselves. I don't know, because that happens. But the fact is that when you're buying that kit you're getting out all the cold parts that came off the colt But the receiver has been destroyed and the barrels have been destroyed so again a kit we used to pay $75 for it then $125 for and by the way our kits came with the barrels It's hard to bite that bullet So the thing is that again if you were looking at your a new shooter or let's say you're a reenactor Makes more sense to go buy a brand new knockoff AR. Paul Metta was making the HR rifle, H&R rifle. They literally own the name, so they're making a true H&R. And if you were looking for something to take out into the field, that's what I'd take out in the field. I had an original AR-15, it's like any weapon. You wanna minimize exposure for that if it's a collectible, if that's what you perceive it to be. But you can buy a brand new tool to put in the toolbox and beat the hell out of it. Because a brand new tool just came off the production line. Who cares? I'll get another one if I can. That's all the reenactors can be looking at it. But to look at anywhere from $1,200 to $1,600 for a pencil barrel AR-15, when that was absolutely the cheapest version of the rifle that could be made. Government didn't make the most expensive M16 rifle on the planet. Government made the cheapest damn thing they could produce. You're not a priority. We are not priorities. If they could send, I've said this many times, if the skank ass government could send you up in a loincloth with a spear, that would be all you get. Hell, they suffer with the idea that they've got to maintain medical support. And what I mean by that is, you know, now it's kind of expected since we've had a few wars we've been pampered with. Well, I should say a few generations. It used to be you had to drag your own ass off the battlefield. Not really motivating the troops a whole lot because half the time you bled to death, try to drag yourself off the battlefield. And that's right in Petunah, even including a lot of what happened during the Civil War and World War I. It really wasn't much better. Yes, I know, they had cease fires and they would go out and recover, but that would be, it would take time. And always in the meantime, you're dying. So having direct medical support, medics attached to small units, the whole nine yards, and the ability to get you back through the machine and make a machine that would actually try to get you back alive, well that's not necessarily going to be here forever. And that's one of the other reasons that we need to be better at filling in the blanks and getting the rest of these other organizations in place. They're still going to need to be able to shoot. Globalist slash Satan pedo queers are going to believe that they can execute you at their discretion. It happens on the battlefield anyway. Okay? But now you've got Satanist pedo queers. They are not highly motivated to be anything other than sycophants. And because they just delight in being sycophants, murdering you on the... Well, murdering you after... They've already tried to kill you, so really, technically, well, they're not murdered, they're just finishing. Oh, okay. We'll be thinking the same way when that happens. No, that's different! How dare you? You can't do that to me! Yeah, I plan on doing it to you. Just the way you're laughing and bragging about how you're gonna do it to us. And I plan on doing it in spades. But I also need to make sure that we keep our support personnel alive. So we need a weapon that fits the niche for the type of work that they are going to be doing. And it needs to be available. It needs to give sufficient firepower at short to intermediate range. There are a number of weapons that would suit that purpose, but the AR is the most common. It is the gladiest of the day, so because it is the gladiest of the day, it is what we will be using for the time being until other weapons are available, or as other weapons are presented that are already available. That's my argument. Anyway, hopefully, plant a seed. You can build it yourself, trust me. We've done enough of them, but I mean, when I say build it yourself, you can find the lightest barrel possible. You can do all of that. Takes a little more work. But it'd be nice to have an upper off the shelf you can just grab. The lowers, take your pick. I mean, you got plum crazy. You want to make it even lighter? Put a plum crazy second gen polymer on the bottom. Now you're talking five and a half pounds. Even lighter still. So we want that. We need that. I'd like to, again, be able to bury another 20, 30, 40 rifles like that. They're cheaper. They're lightweight, which means I can put more stuff into whatever cash to get it out to the middle of nowhere. Every pound you can shave in one area where it's still serviceable means that you've got so much more weight. This used to be the argument about why we just had to have the M16. I remember that like we said, oh the M16 it's because it's so lightweight and it's you know we're we're gonna it's the miracle gun. Of course I got a lot of people killed because of you know malfeasance on the part of the donut of destruction that's just a side story but that's all been worked out they all work just fine in fact pretty much anything you're gonna pick up works. Oh, but some things are nicer than others. And yes, you can spend any dollar amount you want on weapons, just like you can spend any dollar amount you want on cars. There's no reason for the position. except to cater to one faction or another that they're trying to get to toe the line, which is exactly what this is all about. So, again, down the road, the individual who might be in the seat will have his throat slit. He'll disappear one night in the, you know, between the fight between the commissars and the district of criminals. And all of a sudden, somebody else will be sitting in that seat, but won't really be sitting there. Because they got lots more titles and that seat's not that important. But for consolidation of all of this checkerboard police state activity, it always is consolidated by the sycophants, by the nutcases, the ones who are of course going to plan on trying to do the mass murder thing on America. We just need to be ready to deal with it, put them down when the time comes, and find out who else it is that was vying for the position. And get rid of them too. So again, there's always somebody just chomping at the bit to be just that next POS on the list of things to do because that's how we look at them on our side. Another one that's got to be gone. That's expected. So now it's that 5, 7, 10, 15, 25, $27 item that they bought for a quarter years ago. And it happens is how all surplus goes. It shouldn't be though, because there's still a lot of molly, you know, that's piled up in the system. Granted, they have shipped some of it overseas. In reality, I don't know they've really made that great an effort to do that. In reality, I think that most of our money was stolen by the Jewish mob, the money laundering scam, they've got it down to an absolute crooked science, and the Yehudi trash are stealing us blind. They're just trying to see how far they can go. We had that little window I'm still wearing the, well, I've actually had to fix a little bit. I had to repair a few things because I had been trying to kill those $10 a pair of Belleville Garrison boots. You know what? They were $160 a pair of boots. They dropped them down half that, then they dropped them down to $10 a pair. I bought them out, bought out what was left. and I am still wearing the first pair and I have beat them. They have been given tasks to, you know, again, kind of like they're, it's funny for as lightly made as they are, they're the high point carbine of the boot family, okay? They may not be pretty all the time, but they keep right on running and they're comfortable. And you know I don't say that about every pair of everything out there because just because it's new doesn't mean it's better. Okay, but these particular boats were again a lighter. I'm older. It's kind of nice to be not lifting as much weight. I have plenty of conventional combat and steel-toe combat boots and all kinds of stuff all ready to go and I have to wear them because I got to stay fit on that. I got to be able to keep moving my legs. But these garrison boots, it's kind of like the advantage of a jungle boot, but with in this case a lot more wear and tear. I've gone through jungle boots in one fifth the time. We've had these things for more than a year. I would go out, get them soaking wet, kick fires with them. I actually burned one of the, not a big deal. But I think the worst damage I've done so far is A, I did score the side of one boot from the fire. and other fires, I mean, this hasn't been one incident. And then burn a bootlace in half. Oh my God, what did I do? Tie it back together. And you know what? It held up just fine. Amazingly enough, everything just keeps running. Not much to a shoe anyway. But for what these are, maybe it's human hide. First of all, these are built in communist China. The pleather leather, or whatever it is that they used, is a very fine grain. So it's as likely as not it's human flesh or something. I mean the communist Chinese are that scurrilous. They hate everybody. As far as any social wars, they don't have any. So it's as likely as not because of the very fine quality of the format of the split leather. It could be anything. But people as likely as not. And it held up pretty good. If it was chao chu bing or some other foreign prisoner that they worked to death and then stripped the flesh off him. seems to work. But if it's whatever other kind of leather, it's held up well enough for what it is. So why am I bringing this up? Well, these things are still hanging around out there. They're not $10 a pair anymore. But I've been seeing variations on the same boot for about $32 a pair. Somebody asked me, well, those things work. Well, I'm telling you right now. I've been wearing them and beating them and wearing them. I let them dry out so that I don't wear them every day because I've gotten them soaking wet, beat them down, got them all dirty, cleaned them off, let them sit for a day, put them right back on and get them back to work. And I still haven't broken into a second pair of those. Now, I did this intentionally and now I'm just basically going, run them till they die. Otherwise, normally I wear two or three pairs. I do have the boots and, you know, again, I would be wearing them so that you can reduce overall wear. The boots get a chance to dry out. They get a chance to breathe. And then you get out to keeping them alive a lot longer. Footwear is especially critical. And it's part of keeping the primary weapon system, you, operational and in the field. I mentioned steel toe. There's also, needless to say, fiber toe. There's all kinds of different Polytech solutions out there, polyplastic solutions so that you don't have to carry as much weight and again you still get the same kind of protection. I'm a firm believer in co-shoes and the field for a lot of work simply because you're not going to be up to speed. After a while you're going to start fatiguing out, you're going to get tired. Mistakes will start being made. It's like elbow armor. I was never a big I've never been a great promoter of elbow armor, but elbow armor is so stupid cheap now and It it saves so much joints are gonna be a big problem for us medically For our people so elbow armor knee armor is something that should be a very high priority for everyone Because it is so cheap you can already pointed out these stupid hatch. They're not they're not the best, but they're not the worst hatch elbow pads for like $1.24. You got to buy three pairs. It's about $1.24 or $1.40 a pair. They're brand new in the bag. Use them until they break down. Hand them off to the kid who doesn't have any. He'll fix them up and make them work. You break out another new pair until you wear those out and repeat. If you're able to, maybe dead before that, get a chance to wear out even the first pair. Who knows? But in the meantime, well, we'll just plan ahead. And again, nothing gets thrown away. It literally gets worn out to the point where it gets used up. Now, we're also heading into the winter months. They have blem deals, so I can't really, I wouldn't give you the quote that I know somebody could look right now, and there's probably a number that will come off the page, but if you look around, especially in their deals section, Every so many days, if they have blems, they show up and you know what the difference between a blem and a regular gun is? I'm going to tell you something, 99.9% of the time, you have to show somebody what the blem is because it's harder and held to find. So again, I'm not worried about that. The big deal is, again, pretty doesn't count for anything, but they look pretty enough. And the price is right. You get a better price for the deal. So always watch for the BLEMS. They have these both at Pultmeadow State Armory and many other companies to include Bear Creek Arsenal also. So always look in the BLEMS and the clearances first before you just jump in and buy it. Because you might find exactly what you were going to buy for a really good price. Okay? Anyway... Somebody was asking about carry and carrying with handgun is actually you have to be prepared to be variable and how you carry the weapon because it's a matter of task. If you're a driver, for instance, in a vehicle, While hip holsters can be worn, it's not your first best choice because if you are actually a designated vehicle driver or mechanized operator, you need to be able to access the gun, so shoulder holsters make more sense. For concealed carry, there's any number of different options. A lot of people love the belt carry. Don't worry, it's better on forever. Pocket pistols is what everybody used to have. Pockets were bigger. They used to make pocket sleeves. I think a few companies are again. Basically, they fill out the pocket and stretch it so that the silhouette of the pistol does not become obvious. Not a bad idea, but not everybody likes them because of course you have to wear a belt. You have to make sure some people will wear suspenders like traditionally were. Dress suspenders go along with the style of the day. But shoulder holsters, hip holsters, ankle holsters. Well, not really. Lower carry is there advantages and disadvantages with regard to the idea. So it's a personal flavor choice number one. You know, what is it works for you as far as accessibility? It's especially true though if you're in a particular task in a, for instance, in a fighting vehicle. There are certain things you have to look at in terms of restrictions and how you are limited in being able to move. The big thing here again is also make sure you get the right holster for the right weapon. There's a lot of plastic molded holsters out there. We do have some friends out there that are listening that build custom holsters and I'm going to forgive me. I don't have your guys company name right here. My fingertips didn't forget you. but I'll pull it out and hopefully have it ready for eight o'clock because don't have it now. We'll also be on shortwave then, so it'd be good to mention the company name, make sure more people respond. The big thing here is that you build the system. Today you can do it just as you could in any era. You can build the system to suit your needs. And some people take more seriously the carry system and how detailed it is. Now, myself, let me give an example. I've carried a full, I've mentioned these many times, and whenever I could dig them up, you don't find them anymore. Now they're antiques, but a fulsome prison holster. It was very, very common and popular pre and post World War II. Not a bad little arrangement, and in fact, they did make an adaptable, you know, do you think modular is new? They made an adaptable fulsome hip holster that could be switched over to a shoulder holster or at least a high thigh holster. There's a way you can arrange the leather. And what does a fulsome prison holster do? Well, it doesn't have a top strap or a retainer. Now, this is something most people wouldn't like, but the fulsome prison holsters had a steel retainer inside the trigger guard. And when you push the weapon into the holster, you heard a click. It locked the weapon into the holster. Now somebody might think you could grab your gun and just pull it out. Well, they'd be trying to take the whole weight of you with them because the nature of the design is such that you have to, ooh, this is the part people didn't like or some people don't like. You had to put your finger inside your index finger, trigger finger, inside the trigger guard, pushed out on the retainer, made out of steel. and withdraw the weapon in the process. Now, having handled the thing a lot for me, I didn't think twice about it. And then of course the paranoia of, in fear, said in about, well you could have a booby. Well, I never had a booby with that holster in my whole life. The one that I first got, I got from my dad. He was using it with a Smith & Wesson Model 19. He switched to a Smith & Wesson Model 27. and you know he went up size-wise and so I got that holster and immediately found a K frame to put in it with a six inch barrel and my goodness I was happier in a pig in slop as they say but in this case again I got it I understood how it worked my dad gave you a few ideas because the way he used it over the years and I was a happy camper Because of that, when I went to the gun shows, I would try to find that particular holster. Now, would that suit anybody today? Well, it would still suit me. I'm sure political correctness being what it is and hyper-fear constantly of your weapon, which I understand respect for the weapon, but paranoia is where we are right now with a lot of people to the point where they're too busy trying to appease somebody else rather than thinking about their own interests. This in turn is causing a lot of other problems with regard to effective preparedness when the time comes or experience when the time comes developing working working knowledge muscle memory as much as anything so anyway Everybody got you got your own ideas Pretty soon here. We're gonna get a chance to test all of them And we'll find out just how well certain things work or one over another and it'd be very right It'd be very quick very straightforward and very much a hands-on experience and first-person experience for everybody Small arms fire being what it is, but As far as the holsters go there's a bunch of UM 84s. I would point out There's a bunch of UM 84 knockoffs from Italy I've mentioned these many times, Sportsman's Guide had a couple of them. There's more than one model and the Italians made more than one model. And each, you know, they have different branches of service just like we do. They're not a bad holster. They are reconfigurable variable geometry. And the only thing I always had a problem with taking stuff off a holster is it always gets misplaced. or it's not where it needs to be when you want to switch it back. So the basic rule if you actually reconfigure the holster in the field is take that part, that piece you took off, stuff it in your backpack where it can't get dropped. Don't put it someplace where you've all be back for it. No, no, no, no. Stuff it in your backpack. If it's something you plan on using again in the future, There's a lot of little fixture items like this and a lot of pieces of equipment right now. And there's typically the person who engineers it does not take into consideration being able to retain what it is that somebody is dismounting from the technology. Because of this, it's more readily lost and then isn't available later. So, if it's something you're taking off like the flap off the UM-84, take that sucker and stuff it right into the center of your backpack so you know where it is later when you want to reuse it. Other things with regard to pistols right now is mag pouches. Now, more is better and some of you might just be carrying a handgun only. If you are, you want to carry as many mags for that handgun as you can. And I don't care what anybody says if you, I'm not talking about spraying and praying, but I'm talking about if you have the mags, you have the ability to contribute to the firefight, no matter what. It'd be nicer if you had bigger, but you know, that's not always the case. And especially since firefights can happen outside of mess camp, they can be down the road loading a truck, they can be in a fighting position, any number of ways you could be set upon. So, one of the things I like about Major Surplus, but there's other companies, you don't have to go just to Major, but they always carry the five, six, and seven count mag pockets, mag pouches for pistol. And if you can, you want to acquire at least a couple of those for your combat kit. They make them in the traditional slip slide panel type, which goes on any of the TA-90 or the TA56-M1956 Webgear. Take your pick. But you can also get them in Mali. And I highly recommend that you plan on for your casual carry even. I mean, I've never carried less than four mags if I carry some automatic pistol on my person. At least four mags. And usually I have a brace pocket like the one I'm talking about where you put the pistol in your, you know, in whatever holster you've got on the left in your casual carry and whatever you're going to use to, you know, slide it in the pants or hook it up to the belt. Well, that's creating weight. The neat thing is, is the counterweight, you're having the mag pouch on the opposite side, just like with a jackass rig with a shoulder holster, is balanced. It's just simply, it makes it a lot easier to control things. How many mags? Many you're willing to carry. If you were a personal defense for somebody, would you just carry two or three mags? I know I wouldn't. If I was carrying a Glock, I'd carry as many mags I could possibly find for each pocket. I mean, one in each pocket to spread them out. But the weapon's lightweight, so I'm not carrying much weight for the weapon itself. The mags are really costing me weight-wise. And hangers, belt pouches, in pocket hangers, kind of like a knife sheath. There's a bunch of those out there. There's all kinds of places you can stick mags and still be relatively casual. A matter of baggy clothing, of course, as we know. And also, you got to remember, things do print. Now, people don't think much of you about a magazine. Because half the time they can't be sure what it is. It could be any number of things that are in your pocket or some things that are under your pocket. Oh, that's scary. But the fact of the matter is that the technology is out there. Major Surplus is one of those companies that has the pockets we're talking about and I highly recommend you pick them up. At least one per pistol if you're thinking about retaining them. If I was doing a combat load, a couple different tricks, if I'm using, for instance, the TA-90, one of the things we've done is the German paratrooper mount the magazines for the pistol and the left front hanger ribbon that goes down to your mag pouches for your suspenders. You got to tack it into place or tape it into place. But what's really neat about that is it does make the mags right there with your left hand. Weapon is in your right hand. Drop the mag. Reach to the pocket that's horizontal. Of course Velcro or pop if it's a snap. Slide out the mag. Introduce it to the well because it's literally right there. If your weapon is in close tactical control, literally the mag pouch is right there on your left, on your chest, just at the edge of your rib cage. You pull the first mag out, you're flipping it as you go, it goes pop right into the magazine well, drop the slide and bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, And it's a simple solution, but it also offers you a lot of answers to the problem in terms of 9 millimeter, 40 caliber, or 45 when it comes time to pull the trigger on that boom toy you're carrying. Somebody asked again, the shotguns we were talking about yesterday, it's Communications Tuesday, but we always talk about weapons here. Over at Atlantic Firearms, they have a semi-automatic, it is a Turkish made gun, the whole weapons are on sale, Turks are really dominating this market for reasonably priced weapons in 12 gauge or 20. But over at Atlantic Firearms, they have a some automatic shotgun, five and one, I believe is what it says. Double check, could be four and one. Either way, who cares? $150 for a gas-operated shotgun, boom, boom, boom. Advantage, great rear guard or hallway street sweeper. Just point, pull trigger, and have another guy with a second gun ready to go. When your last round stops, his starts, and you just cascade fire. Boom boom boom boom boom stop and boom boom boom boom boom boom boom stop and third man Boom, oh wait a minute. Pull the pins throw the other thing in the middle of all the boom booms by the time they realize that Mr. Grenade is not your friend. It's already there and there's no time to think about it. Boom That's what rear guard operations are all about so Just a heads up, again, reasonably priced, $150. There are some other magazine-fed shotguns, the 12 gauge, it's a semi. For 150 is a... A conventional tube magazine, which means it's a forever tube. You can keep adding rounds to the magazine, which is something you should always think about as a good thing, where you can just keep checking more in and pulling the trigger and putting more down range. Don't stop, don't stop, don't stop, don't stop, don't stop, don't stop. Okay? Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom Now, one of the other things I would point out, I have not. Somebody did ask me, has anybody put a magazine extension on any of these Turkish guns? Well, let me point something out. Number one, having looked at a bunch of these, they appear all to be a Remington knockoff or a Flinchchester knockoff, depending on which model it is. And the Remington 870 being the most commonly copied, Mossbergs are out there to a degree, or a copy of the Mossberg. But in this case, these appear mostly to be on the Remington line as far as the way the tube system is set up. So yes, you could put a magazine extension on, for instance, that semi-auto 12 for 150. and it can become an 8, 9 or even a 10 shot. You can put a super extension on it. I love those especially for what we're talking about. Poor man's intermediate range submachine gun. It's not a 12 gauge, this ain't your bird gun but use it for that. You can put a longer barrel on top or pick up one of the bird barrels. Put a super extension down below. You'll see a lot of competition shotgun shooters do this. and it's not a bad package. The big issue here again is making sure that it's reliable. So you've got to spend the money to test the weapon. You can't just assume it's going to work. So if you're proposing a project idea like that, you definitely want to be prepared to spend the money on the ammunition that's going to have to be consumed to confirm that that is a reliable package. Well, you'll get a little sloppy on that. Go ahead, caller. What do we have? I always thought the Winchester should have had the loading gate on the other side. I think that'd be a lot nicer for right handed. Oh, well, again, Winchester was, you know, the two, well, it depends on which model. I mean, remember, Winchester, everybody in the shotgun industry operated just like in the pistol industry. Let me give an example is, okay, Smith and Wesson's cylinder rotates in one direction. Well, I'm sorry, I meant rifle. Rotates in, you mean the... Talking about the lever gun. Well the lever guns originally were top ejection. Okay, when you're talking because the pre-64 flinchester is like the 94 There was a reason they changed that out is because everybody was demanding to scope mount their Winchester So the side ejection port And or ejection up and to the right and it was the first step but the night injection Oh, the receiver? Right, okay, well that's not injection, that's loading, yeah, go ahead. I said loading gate, I said loading gate. Oh, I'm sorry, I said injection. No, no, no, I said loading gate. The loading gate on the right side, I think it should be on the left side. That way you don't have to take your hand off though. If you're right handed, that is. Now if you're left handed, the other way would be great, I think. But if you're in a gunfight, you've got a pocket full of bullets, and you've got a belt full of bullets, you can still just keep your hand on the gun, and your butt stuck close to your shoulder. Just keep kind of like popping them in there. Just keep loading rounds in. Right. It's just you're thinking of making the Winchester an HK. Yeah. Because remember, HK did the same thing. The charging handle is forward and on the right. And it's way out there out front, right? But the logic was that your stock weld remains the same, especially if you're in a defensive shooting position. your stock weld remains the same. You don't take your hand off the pistol grip and then you reach out with that big long arm of yours and you take all that energy and if you have to you can push with the pistol grip while you're trying to get the action to work with the left hand if you're tired. But the advantage is that yes, you can load and do everything with your left hand. So yeah, a loading gate on the left side would probably be a good idea. The only thing I think don't think about is it go ahead. You have to have one on both sides would matter No, well that's all that gets a little tougher because remember the springs if you look at how it's internally it's secured to the frame Oh, yeah, it has to be it has to be one side or the other That might be in the way But you have to switch the sides and change the bolt. But yeah, like with the M16 or AR, I would reach down and get a magazine with my left hand, get it up there ready to go, and get my hand back up there, and just keep going until she stops, and then push the button with my index finger, drop it out, and then I'd do another one, and smack your bang, and here we go again. You know, you keep on going. Well, the big thing is, again, with the left gate, it would be a good idea. But again, I don't know, it's just the nature of the idea that the positive hand or the stronger hand controlling the ammunition, I don't know what their logic was behind it other than just pick a side. Because, again, if you're looking at a cowboy combination, 99% of the people carry a hip carry on the right. So, you know, again, it'd be better off actually having the gate on the left side like you're talking for a lever gun. It would make sense to have the loading gate on the left. It really would. But we're all used to it. Keep an eye on them with your sights. You still got your hand on the trigger. You know what I mean? Well, the most important thing is you have your finger on it and you actually have your control of the trigger because remember, if you're in a dogfight, somebody could come up on you at any moment from an angle you didn't expect. And being able to turn, even if you just have that one round in the chamber, is enough to put a, you know, tag somebody with a bullet and then work on doing better. So you're going to have the right... And on the ARs or M16, I think the forward assist should be on the left. Well, again, that was the strong arm concept. You've got a boo-boo malfunction. Their logic was that if you're motivated, that's your punching arm, and you're going to beat you. First of all, the logic here is you're beating your rifle into submission. And I never did quite go along with that to begin with, because it's contrary to the first rule of trying to clear the firearm. But since there was no effective way to get enough strength on the on the case because of the charging handle The they went the other way it was the idea will beat the rifle into submission my argument my point when I first saw that when I was very young was Well, wait a minute if the rounds malfunctioning it could be because there's something in front of the bullet. Yeah Okay, it's like it could be some junk in there. I really don't want to pull I don't want to pull the trigger on but Because of the problem with being able to actually get sufficient energy with that extractor claw and the charging handle built the way it is, since you don't have direct contact, you have a secondary contact and a tagging system made out of aluminum. Because remember, what's the charging handle made out of? But that's where, that means that you're losing a certain amount of applied energy to the actual mechanical object you're trying to influence. And it's not a lever, it's just a claw. If it was a lever, I'd actually have more energy to work with, but it's not. It's just a claw. And it's not a very good claw. I know, when the, well okay, remember, something I'll bring up, just a case in point on that part. When the FN built all of our M16s and they had no business doing it, I know the units that were at Fort Benning and also the guys that I trained that were trainers at Fort Lost in the Woods. and they had 100% breakage on the charging handles on the AR-15s. Now, I've argued this for years. FN knew how to make gun parts. FN knew how to make weapons. FN made the crappiest rifles they possibly could for the US military. And we had parts breakages on those rifles, well those FN rifles that they built, the A2s, to the point where they literally ate up all the American parts to put the guns back in service that were still in the inventory. And if it wasn't charging handles, it was hammers, it was all kinds of internal parts that, okay, wait a minute, FN knows how to build. So FN, because they were making it for the US, figured why don't they screw America? And FN did. So that's the only problem with parts, you know, things being made. As far as reliability goes. But the thing here again, it's a good idea. I, in fact, you know what? You can slap me in the microphone, but I think they're making, somebody is making a left gate lever action under the argument it's a left-handed shooter's gun. Somebody's making one. I've seen it. I know I have. Now, I don't know how expensive it is. And it might be a browning, it could be a browning lever action, but I'll tell you what, go look at classic firearms. Go to classic, do me a favor, you can look at this and be a good project, because of the subject you brought up. I'd be curious if that's where it was. I know I looked at it and I thought, hmm, that's novel, but in reality, with your argument, which is sound, it actually would be a preferred choice, and they had the lefty on sale. Now, I don't remember if it was in one of the pistol calibers, and I think it was. I think it was in, I think it was in .44 Magnum, which wouldn't be bad, okay? One of the other advantages, the lever action rifle, and we have to keep pointing this out. The lever action is not obsolete by any stretch of the imagination. It's like many other weapons. It was just another go-to system. The biggest problem was muck, mire, and debris with the Winchester is when they were tested under military code going back into the 1800s. And I will point out that the Model 1873 was done as a what they call a musket or musketoon, even though it was a rifled gun for the Russian military. They made a large quantity first for while Winchester built them for the Russian army. And then the Russian army had a contract production run. Now, these guns were still in service and were pressed into service during World War I because the Russians never had enough guns. But the Winchester served well. Nobody had any great complaints with the people that used it. Of course, if they died, they couldn't tell you anyway. But the fact of the matter is that it was a viable firearm. In a pistol caliber, you had tremendous fire power, more so than the average bear. And because it was a mechanical system, like a lever system, it was pretty reliable, actually pretty straightforward to operate. It was quick to teach somebody to use and effective once it was put into service. And one person with a Model 73 and like a 3220 cartridge, oh god, it was like carrying a machine gun back in the day. You're working around at ammo right away. So 3220 sounds like a pipsqueak, but it actually was pretty effective and nobody wants to get shot with anything ever. Just keep that in mind. Wasn't the only caliber. 3820 was another one. Winchester made a wide range of chamberings that you most you've never heard of. They would custom build a cartridge to your specifications. and they had a whole line of custom cartridges that they offered at Standard Fair. They had 17 caliber, 18 caliber, in fact it was the Winchester, the 3030, Standard Winchester 94 case. Well that case was built in 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30. 31, 32, and some of you may have a 32 Winchester. And up until not too long ago, that was a very common rifle to run into. 32 Winchester. Well, that wasn't a custom cut. But all those others you heard in between, Winchester would, if you were willing to buy it, Winchester would make them and they had all the tooling to do it immediately and they would send you. For instance, a 19 caliber, you know, 1930-30, because the 30 is the black powder weight for the case, a cartridge gun in the Model 94. And also in other patterns, because the 94 wasn't the only gun that they produced. And remember, there's a lot of unique Winchester's that are floating around in there. Your grandpa may have had one, and you might have it now because you inherited it. They're good weapons. The problem is if they're the odd production out, we're farther and farther away from the manufacturing date, obviously. And so unfortunately spare parts become the issue. So, you know, but still great weapons. Nothing wrong with any of them. You throw something at me, I'd figure it out real quick because I think I've handled pretty well one or the other at one time or another. And by no stretch of the imagination are they not lethal. I don't know how effective that would be. Hold still, get over on the wellhouse. What? Go jump on the wellhouse over there. How far is that? 50 yards? You get on the wellhouse, let me shoot you and let's see how effective it is. Well, I'm not gonna do that. Yeah, I know you're not gonna do that because nobody wants to get shot. So, just remember, there's preferences. but you can make all of it work. It's a matter of knowing where to put the bullet and how to get it there effectively while playing Scatter Dodge with somebody trying to shoot you. And again, another thing real quick on the Winchester's, there is a flurry of Winchester's that are out there right now that have been put on the market in some really oddball calibers from the period I was just talking about. Go ahead, call her, jump in there please. Who do we have? It's down. Yeah, I my great uncle when he was alive he could shoot a lever action faster than most people could shoot a semi-auto. That's how good he was with a lever action. Oh, yeah, no, it's in fact. It's like the British Lee Enfield bolt-action rifle. If you know what you're doing You'd swear to God that person had a semi-automatic weapon. You couldn't tell and now I will say this if it's a very fairly quiet engagement area You're gonna hear just like with a pump shotgun. Guys, what do you think it sounds like at night when you're in a firefight? Sound travels farther and mechanical sounds, metallic sounds especially. Click, click. Yeah, shh, shh, shh, boom, shh, boom. Only said it, shh, shh, boom, shh, boom, shh, boom, shh, boom, shh, boom. I know how fast a person can lever a gun. If they know what they're doing, it's tremendous suppression fire. And not only that, it's not spraying all over the place. If you lean into the weapon, maintain good cheek weld and shoulder weld, and again, that foregrip control, every point of contact has to be sucked in. But once you start operating that action and your finger comes back, you automatically ride that trigger as quickly as you can operate the action. The next bullet's right behind the first one. And boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom empty. But in the process, what you would be hearing at night, and you actually can, is that it's in there, it's just much more rapid. Pump guns are the same way. You know, a lot of guys love pump guns, but it's not hard to figure out if you're in a defense with a wide number of troops, where the different weapons are because they all make characteristic operating sounds. And that old shu-chuck. And don't forget that shu-chuck. And the second part is when you're sliding it forward, it also goes boom. Because you're shucking that round in and displacing air. But every time you fire, whoa! Shu-chuck. Whoa! Shu-chuck. That's why the semi-auto is to a degree preferred by some people because you don't really have time to hear the operating action. Well, you know you can't someone... You could ask someone what it sounds like when they're breaking in someone's house What a bump shotgun sounds like Well, you know what it sounds like? It sounds like this. Shk shk boom and then you hear And then there's this guy slipping on something as he's trying to get his ass out of the house Usually it's the feces that came out of the bottom end of his you know, well out of his hind end and works like, well, it's detrimental, let's put it that way. On the other hand, he's probably doing it on the fly and the waste has never hit in the ground before his feet do. So, yeah, the big thing here again is, well, it depends on what you're doing with the weapon. Making a bar quiet. My dad used to say there's two sounds that would make a bar go absolutely quiet in a heartbeat. Number one is racking that pump shotgun. But you know what? Closing the double tubes on a 12 gauge guys and a double barrel side by side has the same delirious effect on people. They become attentive and want to know where those two barrels are pointed. But you hear that poom. Remember, poom as it closes. Same is true when you're closing a shotgun action. You know, in fact, that's what you got to watch out. Somebody's paying attention with their ear. You can tell if they just racked on an empty chamber. You know, in other words, weapon wasn't loaded or if it is loaded. And that's something you also need to pay attention and have people do for you. You know, don't point at anybody friendly, please. But if you actually experiment, you'll see what I'm talking about. And an aficionado who's worried about surviving what might be a present bar fight, it's amazing how respectful everybody becomes when they hear the second part of that thunk that goes along with the ch-chunk. So, again, good point. The, uh, well, the lever actions, again, they're gonna be in this, they're gonna be in this conflict. There's too many millions of them. If everybody thinks that that weapon is going to be left out, no. The lever action firearm in Marlin, Browning, or Winchester, or Rossi is going to be in this fray. So it would behoove you also to understand how the weapons work. You always have to qualify that. I might not use it. On the other hand, somebody may hand it to you. Do you know how to use it? Remember, don't ever be ignorant of a firearm. You never know when it's going to be the weapon that saves your life. You may have to just pick it up randomly. One of the reasons that I set up a mountain for command was for that very reason, that's why nobody in the village can't use it. God bless the Republic. I think I talked about that on my last episode here. But nothing coming up until sometime in November. I've got the Indianapolis 1500 gun show. Not hardly doing it and that's the last show I have for this year unless I decide to do other shows. The shows have been for me have been put on the wayside. I've been getting well the orders have basically stopped for as far as the fear-mongering of Ukraine and Russia as far as radiation detection equipment goes. So the orders there have pretty much stopped and I am pretty much out of gas masks. The pandemic ran me out of gas masks. But I did saw a lot of radiation detection equipment. The two major times that Putin made a speech and where he mentioned nuclear war, nuclear weapons. So that's gone way down, but I don't really need to do shows. I got a lot going on in my personal life as far as construction and stuff that I've been working on at the property and trying to get things ready for a build, although that's not going real good because I still can't get a mechanic to come out and fix my John Deere 450B. Last time he was out here was six months ago. Looked like he was gonna he came out two times. It looked like he was gonna get it done Only needed one more time to return. It's about 95% done Same with the army truck, but he was supposed to come out. I want a Mechanic out here when it goes comes time to start it. I don't want to risk a runaway diesel engine That I don't know what I'm doing to be able to shut it down or whatever I don't want to have any other major problems want to be able to tune up the army truck if it needs it It's probably already tuned up, but I don't know that because it was quite a rebuilt engine and it came from the military and they probably tuned up when the military rebuilt it but I don't know that. And I don't want to make sure anything else is done wrong and I want to make sure everything's going to be successful on the day we start both those machines up and neither of those machines have run in more than 20 years. But they both have new engines now. Anyway, and of course too late to do much this year but I got a lot of going out there I got another piece of equipment I'm going to be using in the meantime to do some other work out there pulling stumps and getting things cleared up that I've been meaning to do for a long time. So anyway, and I'll mention also the last show I did talk about my, and maybe people want to talk about this again, I don't know. When I was in Georgia doing the Dragon Con show, when I got out of the show that night, I got stopped by a Georgia State police. And there's a tail light out. I'll go on the brief story here. But still my van again put me in jail for a day, well less than a day actually, because they got me out of there sooner than expected. And that's, anyway, I want to file a lawsuit and you offer anybody who's really good at it, this sort of stuff, if anybody wants to work with me on this one. I already won a federal lawsuit, but oh boy, I struggled through it. Took five years to do. I bought a federal lawsuit against state of Ohio, the Bureau of Motor Vehicles and also Hamilton County, which is Cincinnati. I bought a lawsuit against both of them, basically on property ownership, the right to property. They were refusing to allow me to own a property. The basics of it, for those of you who don't know anything about this, because it's been a couple years since I really talked about it much, the right to property was what that lawsuit was about. They stole my van refused to give it back. I had paperwork in the van showing Because I just bought it bill of sale release of lean from the previous owner Various paperwork showing that I just bought it But yet when they stole it from me, they refused to give it back saying no if you don't own it This other guy owns it that the guy on this other paperwork, so you can't get it back Okay, so I went to the went to the B of V to try to get it Well, I get the title and all that but first thing on the form they ask you basically is your address and I didn't have an address. Now most people will just lie on the form and put an address down there of their their buddy or their brother or their mother or something of that nature just to go through the process to get there. But then you're lying on the form and you're tying the form under penalty of perjury. So I figured that was a great lawsuit. You can't compel me to lie out for them to commit perjury in order to own property. And that's what the lawsuit was about. I know it was going to be a win. No question it was going to be a win. That's what you need to do. You need to get something against them that they have no chance of winning whatsoever. So now in the state of Ohio anyway, they were supposed to. I have not checked their progress on that, but they were supposed to change the policy. Now you could own property in Ohio without having an address. Because they weren't allowing post office boxes. They weren't allowing you to have an address. You'd have to know where to come steal your property. Steal to take their property back. Actually what it is. Because when you apply for a title, it's actually a certificate of title, it's not true title. You're actually giving the vehicle over to your state and saying, well I can't handle this at my own. You need to take care of it. So then they do that and they take care of you, all right? They own the vehicle then, and now it's a vehicle, not a place transit device. And they're requiring you now because you're in their company car. So now they require you to get insurance and registration, pay your annual fee and all this. Because you're in a company owned car, state owned car. Because you signed it over, a nose to you. That's the situation we're in. Major fraud. I'd love to sue them on that too. But what I want to sue them on this time, is the actual driver's license issue. I need to take care of this to see if we can get a precedent-setting case nationwide. What I'd like to do, and this will be an easy win when I go to court, if I go to court, there's this question about whether it'll even go to court, because I don't know what happened, because to condense this story down also, went to jail, went at night, stayed in the holding tank until morning, usually they try to book you. And then you go into either another cell, or in this case, they put me in the general population. And so I was with 24 other guys in this pod. Then you got to talk to them and everything. And I said, oh yeah, because it was just over the holiday. And they said, oh yeah, this is Tuesday now. Yesterday was holidays. We had three days that they weren't. So you're not going to get called in probably until Wednesday or Thursday because of the backlog. So three days worth, the weekend plus the holiday. I'm going to probably be here a while then maybe. Anyway, I was the last one in in the morning, but I was the first one out right after lunch. The guys were all amazed. What? They called my name and I was like, oh, it can't be for me because all the people have already been called for court because they do that in the morning usually. Most of these places they do that because they call them in for the court. You go in the video conference to court and they set your bond or whatever they're going to do. But they didn't call my name of course for all those people going to court, but then they called my name said Grab your stuff We release me without a hearing even This is extremely unusual Not only from what I've ever experienced all around the country But for what from of the guys that were there they couldn't believe it either Last one in first one out Grab your stuff So there's something they may have looked at my record and see oh well this guy won a federal lawsuit about something here We've just better let this guy better get the guy out of here. I'll be done sue us No, I want to sue them. And this is why I'm talking to you about this now. I would like somebody who's very prolific with this stuff that really likes this sort of thing, these lawsuits, these other lawsuits, to help me with this because I don't like them. I get the letters and I dread having to answer them. I have to do a lot of research trying to figure out what the hell I'm going to say and the proper response and to keep this process going because there's quite a bit of this stuff back and forth. Again, it took five years. Well, the actual lawsuit took three years. And I don't want to let this go a long time. Anybody who wants to help me. The basic offer is you act as my paralegal privately. No names ever discussed or disclosed about who's helping me. You remain totally anonymous. And if I win the federal lawsuit, any monetary wins of the lawsuit go to you, the person who helped me. That's my offer. Anybody who wants to take that on? And here's the sure-win situation that I think I want to attack this on. Unless somebody else has a better idea of another sure way to win against the driver's license issue. Because if you do a lot of looking, you find that people don't win on the driver's license issue. About no driver's license. Traveling under your own free travel, the right to free travel, people don't win. They really don't. So we need to have a win here. And I think I can win it with this respect. because I've done this in court before and I know I can win the case and even if they rule against me it's easily won in a lawsuit, well not only a lawsuit but also an appeal. So I'm gonna go to court and whenever the next month or whatever they call them, whenever they just schedule it, because they haven't scheduled it yet as far as I know. And then I go to court, I'll win that, if not I'll appeal it, no problem. I'll win the appeal if they do decide to make me lose on the trial. Then they, Then I follow federal lawsuits. And here's my idea of how I want to approach this right now for a federal lawsuit, unless somebody else has a better idea. And I'm welcome to go to good ideas, but I've been through this a lot, and I think this is the approach I want to take. Since I win this in court this way, you win in court by basically when the cop gets called on the stand, because that's the witness, right? You have to cross examine the witness. Now we're talking criminal here, we're not talking about civil. But since they took me to jail, since they kidnapped me, in essence, I'll tell you why they kidnapped me in a second here. Since they kidnapped me and took me to jail, that's obviously a criminal charge. So, okay, so we're in criminal court here. You made this into a criminal case. Witness on the stand, ask the cop, you've stopped me for, you've alleged to have stopped me for this, your report said you'd stop me for this. this crime of the tail light up. Is that right? Yes. And you also charged me with this crime of driving without a license, is that correct? Yes. And then I say what? Let me see how the right wording of this, let me get right here. What are the elements that make up that crime? And right away, here's what happens. Immediately the prosecutor's attorney, objection! And they prevent the cop from answering that. Because, well, when the cop doesn't know what the hell I'm talking about, plus, there is no answer. You see, because a crime has certain elements that must be met in order for it to be a crime. When those elements aren't met, specifically in this case, when you don't have a victim, who's not an injured party, who is the victim? Who is the injured party? If they try to claim the state of Georgia as the injured party, well then, your other, I need the state of Georgia on that stand so I can cross-examine the state of Georgia. Which of course is, okay, they put a couple pieces of paper up on the seat on the stand, right? Because there is no such thing as the state of Georgia as far as it's not an individual I can cross-examine. It's a corporate entity called the state of Georgia. So this is an impossibility for them to win. Just have to do the right approach. You would have to have to word the probably word the complaint they call it Properly, I'll be paying the $550 for the filing the lawsuit by the way I'll be paying other expenses as far as printing and all that goes I just need help with somebody doing all the paperwork creating the paperwork for me and by email don't have to meet and Then again in the end the whoever helps me and if we win all monetary gains I guess I should pre-emphasize minus taxation. Last time I won the case, they wanted to send me a check. I said, well, no, I'm going to do with a check. I can't cash a check. I have no bank accounts. I have no Social Security number. So what I had them do is I actually had them issue the check to my mother and then have put in her account. But then she got taxed. I had to include that as a... income or whatever because losses like that they considered taxable income. So I guess to narrow that down, my promise is the amount of win minus taxes that are incurred. Okay, they want me incurred by me, but I can't collect it anyway unless you want me to get it going directly to you then your name's involved and that's fine, too. Then you incur the tax penalty or whatever. That's fine. You want to do it that way the check goes straight to you the whole check. But if I could come back with you a cash is going to be whatever minus the tax liability that somebody had to incur when I deposited in their account and they had to pay the taxes based on whatever they made for the rest of their 1040 form. So anyway, whoever called last time I was on the air and said they were going to send me something, I didn't get that something. I kept checking the spam box too. I never got that something. So you could try again if you're listening to me. I didn't write down what you told me exactly. It's hard for me to do all this stuff because I got a computer up here and other pages open. I've been doing some research here about, because of the auto strike, and electric vehicles, and some recent announcements by various major car companies in this country. I want to talk about this situation a little bit here. First of all, as probably all of you know, and I think they say by tomorrow night, at midnight or something, they're going to expand their strike unless there's some progress made that I haven't heard on the news about. The UAW has said they're going to increase the strike because right now they basically closed down three plants, one in Michigan, one in Ohio, one in Missouri. This is all common knowledge in the mainstream news. But then also other plants have been affected, of course. Oh, no. Thing will be a big big boondoggle. It'll all be jammed up a big log jam because once you close down one Everything else gets affected eventually. So that by the way, they're going to be increasing it supposedly if they don't have any they're actually asking for a 40% increase in pay is one of the things Wow, that's that's massive No wonder the companies don't want you see if the company's now they're trying to promote electric vehicles and the electric vehicles are already a lot higher price Then your internal combustion vehicles existing technology That for more than 100 years. Well, of course, we had electric technology for more than 100 years, too But they're owning the electric trying to get electric cars going because the government basically telling them gonna have they're gonna have to So whether they want to or not, they're doing it and if they want to sell cars in the US but they're more expensive and now with the UAW we're gonna I'm sure the UAW in the end is going to win something. They're going to win some games. They'll probably be a compromise. Maybe it won't be 40% or something else. It'll be back and forth. It'll be compromised. But then cars will go up in price because the wages have gone up. You and I will be paying for that. It's like everything else has gone up with inflation. It'll be inflation plus the inflation of their wages. So now electric cars are going to cost even more than so will all the other cars across the board. Now elected but that's now because of the halt in production or reduce production electric cars are going to be Slowed down again, and they've already made announcements. What's going to some of the things that have been happening? If this strike stays on for very long are we looking at it? We're looking at a very long strike. We're looking at anybody remember I think it was 2008 the bailoffs Where car companies got bailed on everybody before and I believe it was I think GM and Chrysler at the time got government handouts bailouts Bad decisions bad government bad policies bad business policies they Ford was the only one that didn't ask for the government handout, but Chevy and work Chevy and Chrysler got the handouts anybody remember that That's we're gonna be looking at again here if this goes on long enough where the car companies are starting to fail or looks like they're gonna be in deep trouble You're gonna have to see we're gonna have to see another bailout by the government and there's your money again bringing back the car companies. That's just my idea. I don't know. It depends on how long this thing lasts. They have had record profits here recently. Most of the car companies have had record profits in the last two quarters, I believe it was. So they're actually doing pretty good at the moment, but that could go south pretty quick. We've been in this strike now for about a week. Whatever goes on a month or three months. We're going to see a complete halt of the sale of vehicles in this country. Other than what's in the lots right now, that's all there's going to be. There's probably not going to be much new deliveries because the whole works is going to be jammed up. Okay, so electric cars, I did some looking here, and I want to talk first about something that you maybe have not noticed that much, but maybe you have, especially truck fans and especially small truck fans. Because have you noticed that we really haven't had Remember, but for about 30 years, the Chevy S10, Ford Ranger, the Toyota had a small pickup truck, the Zuzu Mitsubishi Nissan, they all had these small trucks, these not full-striped trucks. Instead of having a bed that's like four by eight feet, it's like three and a half by six feet or three and a half by seven or so. It's a smaller truck, shorter. They usually work four-wheel drive, but I think they did have four-wheel drive models. It was more of a I'm getting around truck. Of course, that's what most people use trucks for today. My guess here, but if you look at the trucks on the roads today, more than half of them, they've never used it as a truck. It's just a car for them. But it's big, it gets less gas mileage, fuel economy, and it's... But we haven't been able to buy new trucks really in this country for a while. Why is that? This is looking... Since about 2008, this has been happening, where we haven't been seeing these small trucks anymore. So it's been a good 15 years since we've really been having new small trucks, even by, in this country of the basic models that you can get in this country. You can still get them imported, I suppose. I don't know. I guess not, because the EPA, here's what happened. And I don't have the exact figures, facts and figures, your numbers, but you can do some looking above the EPA regular, the car regular, the cafe. The standards set by the CAFE standards, by the EPA was what basically killed the small pickup truck. And the reason for that, because you say, well, yeah, they get better gas mounds, right? Well, yes, they do. But unfortunately, the way the footprint, the calculation, if you look at the charts, the way that's calculated based on the fuel economy standards and the I can't remember what the other one was. Emission standards. Emission standards and fuel economy standards that they set. The small trucks could no longer meet them. And it was on a sliding scale where as years went by, they had to meet a particular standard which they no longer was able to meet anymore. And it was not only was it based on the emission standards and the fuel economy, but it was also based on the footprint, the track, the track and wheel base. That was part of the formula because they got smaller and smaller the trucks That's what killed the small truck as VPA standards Relating to the footprint of the truck because now it becomes more like a car and they weren't quite as good as fuel economy as a car and they just weren't able to meet them anymore although you know what I have two trucks that I Have fun with them when I go to try to get parts for these trucks I have a truck that supposedly don't exist, right? Go to a Mercedes dealer and try to get parts from my Mercedes truck. Well, Mercedes doesn't make a truck. Oh, no, I kind of have one. It's called the Unimog. It's a military truck, okay? And it's imported from, well, German. It's German, but I got mine from Belgium. Anyway, so okay, they don't have parts for, I got it. The US doesn't have any Mercedes truck. Other than semis, there are some Mercedes semis out there. Then I go to the Volkswagen dealer and say, I need parts for my Volkswagen Rabbit pickup truck. Volkswagen pickup truck. Oh, my Volkswagen doesn't make a pickup truck. They certainly did. Mine's diesel, and it gets 50 miles to the gallon. 50 miles to the gallon diesel it was nicknamed the caddy if you aren't familiar with that early 80s mine's probably I think mine's an 81 and it's a It's a it's a small pickup truck like Ranger in the s10 word. It's actually a little smaller than those actually because 50 miles the gallon Wow, we're going to 100 you say I need parts for my Honda truck They've gone right away. Tell me on the dead mega truck I said, well, no, I have one. I actually have it on the truck. And it's a four-wheel drive, and it gets 45 miles per gallon. It's a gasoline four-wheel drive, what they nickname in Japan called key trucks. Now, key is a Japanese word. These are the small pickup trucks that they have in Japan. If you look at, if you go online and look at something that shows the streets of Japan, you'll see all the, I mean, all the vehicles are really small there. They're a lot smaller. The gasoline price is ridiculously high. So they've been dealing with small vehicles for a long time. And their pickup trucks are very small. They call them key trucks. And I think mine has about, it's actually about a four and a half foot wide bed. by about, I think, six and a half feet long, four-wheel drive, the sides fold down, the back of course opens like a tailgate does, and the sides fold down or come off, they can take them off without tools basically, and so you have a flatbed and the wheel wells don't protrude into the bed, like your pickup trucks here do. Really cool. And the tires are 13 inch tires. It's small, okay? And it's a cab over design. In other words, you have no hood in front of you. You're sitting right in front of the traffic. Bumper to bumper literally means your feet are right at the bumper just about. So in an accident obviously it's not a very good deal. And this thing goes, I think I've had mine up to about 70 miles an hour. So it goes high with speed if you want to. They're not street legal in most of the US though. Certain states do a lot of them other states don't. I plan on using mine off-road at my farm, my property. It's four wheel drive, small, you still load firewood and things in, get around on the property on trails. And the, anyway, 45 miles a gallon, no modifications. So yeah, Honda makes a truck too. Anyway, but anyway, here's some news from Ford yesterday, from Ford. The Ford and Chevy and when they call it now, they don't call it Chrysler anymore. Can't remember. It's like the new name got used to this cheap and Chrysler products now mixed in with another company, whatever Now you're gonna be able to see the return of small trucks because of EVs. They can't make the cafe standards By the EPA but they can't but now they can make small EV trucks and Ford has announced Expands its global truck family with first ever Ranger plug-in hybrid So the plug-in hybrids are different because they can get better fuel economy and they're now Ford has that made one that can meet the cafe standards that required by the EPA So you'll see the return of the Ford Ranger and a hybrid and probably I would think you're gonna see it And you're gonna see the EVs come about too because the EVs don't have this issue with the fuel economy and the emission standards So they can do just about anything with the EVs at this point until the EPA starts doing something else nasty to the companies You probably start making them to have efficiency standards based on kilowatt hours at some point. Because right now the trucks you can really buy are the big ones. They've got one fifties and such. And these things have massive batteries. The battery costs a big chunk of what the truck costs. So you're going to see, I think it's 2025. Let me look here at the article because this is just announced yesterday. Before I go and introduce... Plug-in hybrid technology to the mid-sized truck segment with its first ever Ranger plug-in hybrid electric vehicle in early 2025. They're calling it a mid-sized truck there. Maybe, depending on the footprint of it, the track and the wheelbase, maybe it's just going to be a little bit smaller than the full-sized ones because the hybrids, if you look at the chart, there's a scale that they have to meet. It's a formula and there's scales for it. You can find online formulas. They show a chart showing what the footprint has to be in order to meet certain standards for emissions and fuel economy. Ranger plug-in hybrid will offer zero-pale-pipe emission driving capability in addition to the essential next-generation Ranger towing off-road and payload attributes and more torque than any other Ranger. Available pro-power onboard means customers can leave the generator at home and free up the cargo space. There's enough energy to power remote camp or work sites. Leave the generator home. I wonder what that means literally. I wonder if the power pack is removable in this thing. Hmm, that's interesting. Interesting warning. They're calling it Pro Power On Board TM, trademark. Pro power on board. I need to research more what that means. That's interesting the way they've worded it there Pro power on board means customers can leave the generator at home and free up cargo space Does that mean the power pack is in the bed of the truck taking up room in the bed that can be removed fairly easily like the size of a generator But that's what's actually what a hybrid is a hybrid is really electric vehicle with a generator on board That's the simple explanation. It's what a hybrid is and hybrids do get much better fuel economy. And speaking of hybrids, more news. Let's see here. Ford pushes back EV target, warns of wire loss due to slower than expected adoption of electric vehicles, and that's not the article I wanted. Ford is retiring these three gas models to make way for new electric vehicles, that's not it either. GM accelerates electrification timeline, plans 30 EVs by 2025. All that's going to be going down by the wayside now because of the strike at the last rail line. A new vehicle to home EV charging platform for everyone except the Bolt. Now speaking of the Bolt, Chevy, news and Chevy about three weeks ago, Chevy announced that the Bolt was going to be eliminated for a while but then they had to backtrack on it pretty quickly because They were like, dude, 93% of your EV sales is the bolt right now. Of Chevy's, GM's EV sales, 93% of General Motors, electric vehicle sales is the Chevy bolt. And you're gonna drop it? No, wait a minute, who's, what planet are you from? They had to reverse that, but instead now they've been offering, they're starting to push, they made some announcements. Okay, no, I'm getting it mixed up with four here. Okay, so the Chevy Bolt is returning and Chevy, the Shimmer Motor is going to have a platform of EVs that have what they call bi-directional EV charging. Bi-directional EV charging produces, provides electricity that repairs with more flexibility to coordinate their power needs at home. with time of day discounts. They can also partart in the smart grid virtual power plants to help avoid local rate increases. What this all means is they're going to have to start having bidirectional, and I think Tesla's already been doing this. But Tesla's not on strike, by the way. The UAW hasn't got their foot in there. And so Tesla has another big advantage. Tesla have been lowering the price of their EVs to try to keep up because they're gonna be under a lot more scrutiny now and a lot more price pressures. to bring their prices down. And they've already lowered their prices several times here. And now they might be able to raise them back up again because of the big three you're going to have troubles providing EVs here soon if the track keeps on very long. But what this bidirectional means is when you go home and plug in your EV to charge up, typically people get home and they plug it in and let it charge up overnight. And then generally it will take up overnight to charge depending on the rate you charge it at. There's different electric vehicles at different rates of charge. Quick charges can generally charge a battery to full in a couple hours whereas the slower charges might take overnight. You usually have two or three levels of charge rates that you can use. If you're using it like a 110 volt outlet like a regular plug, that's going to take a couple days to charge up your car. And that's what electric cars I have, that's what the way they always were, at least all of mine ever were, were just 110, 110 volt. And it takes overnight to charge them up generally. They had a lot smaller batteries back then too. But anyway, the bidirectional means that the power company can now draw power from your battery for the grid if it's in demand. In other words, times of high of a peak electricity needs where we're facing brownouts Not only can certain electric companies We're gonna show off your air conditioner. We're gonna turn your air conditioner down or we can shut off your refrigerator They wanted to we're gonna start shutting down some things so we don't lose power for everybody So we're gonna start shutting some of the things down your home. Oh, but you have all these electric vehicles Let's draw power from your electric vehicle So we can start providing that for the grid so we don't go, we run into brownout situations with the grid. If you sign up for that, now you get paid for that. And on high demand times, I know from experience at a house that I'm in right now, they have a grid-tied, full of a tax system. And when during peak times, this house does get higher rates going back to the grid between the hours of 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. which is the peak time for this particular market, electric market. Your market may be doing this, may not be, it may be doing three-tiered systems where it gets even lower rates at midnight or something of that nature. That's the time when if you have an EV and you're in California, for instance, they have a three-tiered system on your utility, you avoid using electricity at all costs during daytime or during peak times. Use a little electricity during the other times of the day and use the most electricity at night if you can Run your washing machine at night crank your heater your air conditioning up to get your warm warm again That's cold cooler warm again because you let it go all day Because their rates are ridiculous in California the highest in the nation not aside from Hawaii Hawaii is actually slightly more slightly more for reasons which you probably can understand and so You have an electric car that now will have a capability of bi-directional charging. So you get home from work and you go plug in your EV. Now you may have already, your battery may already be pretty drained by the time you get home from work and that's a peak rate. So there's not much there to take, but okay, here comes the power company. They're taking it from you anyway. And so now come seven o'clock or whatever. When the peak rates, when the peak times have changed, or there's no longer the big demand, you got the car that's basically dead, or whatever, however much electricity they took out of your car, then you can start charging it. You can program your car to start charging after when things get cheaper, the rates get cheaper. So that's the way you can lower your electricity bill if you're in a high rate area like California. I think the nationwide average is somewhere around, last time I looked around like 12 to 13 cents a kilowatt hour. I think that's generally what most, that's like the nationwide average. But California is like 21 cents or something really high. The only member has been a lot of time since I looked at the numbers. And depending on what time of the day you got to take an average, it's hard to do this now except by taking averages of each utility to find out to make comparisons. So I think at the highest rates, there's something like 40 or 50% higher than normal. Above their normal and yet that's what it is here. We're on that actually is 50% higher during the peak times But still we're only talking 12 or 13 cents per kilowatt hour. So they're gonna start doing that I've had a discussion with somebody Recently, so I'm never gonna get electric vehicle. So they say as well. Okay, I hear you say they're too expensive I'm never gonna be a Ford one tomorrow. They may come down. They won't come down much and by the way If you're waiting for things to come down as far as lithium and some of the other things that are the need of the batteries, the market right now for batteries is kind of at its lowest point that forecasters are going to see forever. In other words, what I'm saying, you're based on some predictions and market forecasters to look at these sort of things. Price of lithium is going to start going up. It's been going down, down, down, but now we're at a plateau and it's going to start going up. Not a plateau, I guess a valley is right where it is. And it's going to start going up. And it's never going to go down. Demand is increasing, supply is reducing, supply and demand goes along as they dictate the prices are going up. They're madly trying to find new deposits of lithium all over the world, new deposits of copper. Price of copper, if you talk about gold and silver, about the performance of them being lackluster here in the last 10, 20 years, up, down, up, down, up, down, but still been hovering around the same general area, check price of copper. Copper has gone up way more percentage-wise than gold and silver have. Copper was the metal to be in, but don't listen to me, I sell copper coins, right? So the And then cobalt, now most of our electric cars do not, they're getting away from cobalt in the batteries. But you're gonna need more lithium, gonna need more nickel, gonna need more copper, you're gonna need more, I think of the other metal. Of course, you also need more, neomidium, I say it, neomidium for magnets. not only for electric vehicles, but for windmills, wind farms, and so on. Those rare minerals and magnetics, that's going to be going up. All this stuff is going to be much higher in demand. These aren't, they're readily available, have been, however, not the demand that it's going to be needing. And they're looking for new mining opportunities, building new plants, things are going to start increasing. You want to invest in something, that's probably a thing to invest in, but... Things are going to be rocky for quite a while. In fact, my prediction is we're never going to be able to do this EV thing like the government's trying to force us into. The greenies are destroying us. The greenies are, if they get their way of forcing us to do electric vehicles and doing away with fossil fuels like they pretend they think they can do, I think they know they can't do it, but this is what they're doing. They're trying to get rid of fossil fuels. You are facing a grim future of exorbitant electricity rates. energy rationing and massive rolling blackouts. That's where we're headed. If they do away with fossil fuels and they don't increase nuclear energy because they have to have a thing up their butt about nuclear energy too, they're not promoting nuclear energy like they should be, you're facing a very grim future of exorbitant electricity rates, energy rationing and massive rolling blackouts. No, but don't believe me keep doing what you're doing and everything will be fine. Biden has plans for you. The greenies are going to destroy things and electric vehicles as part of their plan. Although I have had electric vehicles for 40 years, that's four different electric vehicles and none of them were Tesla's or Bolt's or anything. I haven't bought a new electric vehicle in more than 20 years. And the ones I bought weren't new anyway because they weren't really. There haven't been very many new models for almost 100 years. Very few new models. But there have been some. And I had to, mine were all produced in the 70s that I have had. I only have one left right now. And the performance was very terrible compared to what they do today. Today, and this is another thing, if you think about buying an electric vehicle, think about, you gotta do some more research besides what they tell you, the numbers they give you. Just like the greenies give you the wrong numbers with renewable energy. It's what I call it ruinables They give you the wrong numbers. They give you they give you the capacity of a solar plant as being in kilowatt hours kilowatts produced the rating of 5,000 kilowatt array on your roof, right? It puts up five kilowatts when it's brand new in the middle in the middle of summer at noon for about an hour There's the only time it puts out 5,000 months the rest of time is putting out 600 watts or 10 is cloudy day and I noticed this system was putting up about 500 to 600 watts most of the day So it doesn't do what they say it does and then at night it kind of produces zero because that's kind of what solar does But they're claiming it's a 5,000 watt system, right? That's what the greenies. Those are the numbers the greenies give you they give you numbers that are essentially lies. They're misdirection Pretending to be something there. Whereas if you had a 5,000 kilowatt generator for your home That can put out 5,000 watts. But you're using fossil fuels. And they don't like that. So you say you're not going to, so the person I was talking to, oh, I'm never going to have an electric vehicle. Well, I think you will because they have plans for you. Unless you want to, you know, go with a bicycle or, a good way to get around if you live in a city, folks, is to get a little electric scooter or an electric assist bicycle. Check the laws in your community if you're living in a city. That might be the best way to go. Electric cars are good too for small distances. If you're trying to go more than like about 200 miles You're gonna start having issues with electric vehicle and you say oh well the newer ones they get 300 to 400 miles this distance blah blah blah well no they don't Again, they're getting you wrong numbers. Anybody that was like the car knows what I'm talking about now You might learn have learned the hard way But what your car is rated at isn't what your car actually gets you see because The way it's rated is usually ideal conditions flat level, smooth ground, no wind resistance, maybe four or five miles an hour, so there's no wind resistance, and that's like the absolute best, no extra weight in it. This is the best, the ideal temperatures. This is what your electric car is, how your electric car is reading. Start putting it in real world conditions and the situation changes dramatically, especially if you live in normal climates, the temperature for one. Starts causing havoc. No, this one's on the road. Hello. Yes, Ed. If only you had the electronic car thing. I don't know if you heard this story or not about Jennifer Granholm, our Secretary of Energy. She was doing a drive around the country in quote-unquote electric vehicles. and she stopped at a couple of places and parked their vehicle chair for the photo opportunity. The only problem is that people who had real EVA vehicles called the cops on her motorcade for parking in the EVA spots with gas cars. You know they didn't even have real UVA vehicles, but they were doing it as a photo op thing with port vehicles. It looked kind of, it's one of the same models, but it's not the electric version. They even went to the point of like putting the electric charging station pump under the, go to the car, tried to make it look like they were doing something, but everybody was like, no, that's not how they charge. They ended up having the cops. called on them because they couldn't do their cross-country tour thing with the EVA vehicle. They had to use gasoline ones. Let me let me see if I understood you correctly. You said that they were parking gasoline cars in the EV charging stations. Yep. They had they had the cops called on them for doing it. And they didn't have any electric vehicles in this convoy? As far as I know from the story that they told, they were supposed to have a whole convoy of electric vehicles. But they ended up taking up the charging stations with gasoline powered vehicles, which is why one of the charging stations, owners called the cops on them. That's why it made the news. That would be interesting to an interesting protest to have a an electric vehicles owners clogging You know where this convoy is heading going clogged up all the spaces for electric vehicles to charge and then they're sitting there waiting in line like I'm like some multi-car vehicles have to do waiting on to get a charge and then maybe only having a limited time of charge because They have to get back on the road. I would think that probably in that case. They would probably have special reserved, they probably have county sheriffs and so on, clearing the way for them, their target stations were open so their little commotion could work. Somebody was trying to speak here. Ed, you got real muffins, try again. Sorry, Jay. Here's the problem. If you would think that, you know, if you got the group plan and you're going to have these states, these things reserved, they didn't. That's why they had the cops called on them. Little reality checks for electric cars. If you're buying electric car, you better just consider it, until there's a massive change in battery technology, you better just consider it a local car, your second car, getting around town car. That's really what you're looking at here, because if it's rated at say 300 miles, you're probably only going to get about 150 miles out of it, because real world conditions, will slow that, lower that number down dramatically. Winter time, the cold, a lot less there. Then you also have to use the heater in the car. You have to use more power in the car just to keep comfortable and to defrost the windows and everything. So using electricity there, plus the batteries are cold to begin with, they have a harder time with that. Plus well something else Craig with the with the cold power and you can look this up on YouTube The guys who have the EV the electronic vehicles taking them to the EV charging stations in the middle of winter 90% 9 literally you pull into a charging station where you got nine charging station in the middle of winter only one of the one out of 10 is gonna work Basically 90% of your charging stations don't work in the winter Yeah, I've seen those types of things and a lot of times they don't work. I haven't had to deal with it because I don't use those stations, but I have seen reports of those. Not only that in the winter time, but also the batteries are using electric cars today, which are lithium-ion batteries. You actually can't charge these up frozen. So what happens when you plug in an electric car with the batteries that are below freezing, you actually warm up the batteries first before they actually start charging them. That's another problem with the technology we have there. There's lead acid batteries, you could do that, but up to a certain point, the batteries are frozen, frozen way below zero, way below zero, where the battery actually froze, then you could explode the battery. But anyway, lead acid batteries didn't really have that problem, because they still worked and still charged when they were below zero. Even in the warmer months, during let's say the middle of summer, You're using the air conditioning in your car. Well that takes some power up your reduces your range any resistance on the roadway any hills any Rough surface dirt roads that all decreases the the miles the miles you can get out of a EV So when you see those numbers that EV supposedly do and you're looking to buy an electric car You practically need to put that number in half maybe even less than half maybe one third in the winter time when it's really cold out if you're in a northern climate. So just a warning there, because there's realities they don't want to tell you about it yet. Everybody's going to be learning this the hard way when you get an electric car, but nobody's really talking about these things right now. I've been, again, I know electric cars, I've been doing them for four decades now, and not the new amount of ones. I do have a scooter that has the modern lithium ion batteries. And boy, there's a lot of YouTube videos where you can see fire hazards with these scooters and electric vehicles. Recently there was a ship, cargo ship, that had a bunch of electric vehicles on board and one of them caught fire and the whole damn ship basically caught fire. And you really can't put out these fires of an electric vehicle. Go on YouTube and you can see some of the videos. China's having a big problem with theirs right now. They're trying to keep it quiet. When an electric car catches fire, when you have a problem with the electric and it catches fire, this high voltage, high current, it starts fire, you can't put these batteries out. You can pour all the water out of them you want, you're not going to be able to put them out. The only way they've been able to find, to really effectively put them out is to completely snuff all the oxygen. They're not coming out with these huge blankets that they put over a car. that try to basically cover the whole car to try to snuff out all the oxygen and keep it from burning anymore. And then even when the fire stops, they're a great risk of restarting. If you look at some of the dangers about these, they recommend you park, I think, 50 feet away from other cars. And people who bring these scooters into their apartment to charge them up, they show them basically exploding and catching fire in their house. Whoo, gotta be careful with these things. These batteries aren't these lithium ion batteries, have a lot of problems. We still aren't anywhere near where we should be. And think about this, the battery has been under development for over 200 years. That's right, over 200 years. In fact, if you look it up, you'll find that Benjamin Franklin actually was part of working on battery development back then. So well over 200 years, the battery has been in development. And where are we today? Well, batteries have gotten better. quote, air quotes better than what we had lead acid for about a century. We had lead acid batteries with a standby and we still use them in our cars today as our starter battery. But the new batteries for electric vehicles, lithium ion batteries or lithium ion phosphate batteries, those are common in electric vehicles. They have a whole lot of other technology of iron batteries. There's a whole lot of technology they have, but none of them have been proven to be up to the task of putting them in our vehicles and using them as the primary source of locomotion. Do not buy electric car and expect to go cross-country with it. Unless you have a long long time to do so. Do not expect that. Do not expect to charge up on the road. You really if you buy electric car, plan it so that you won't have ever have to use it to where you have to charge up on the road to get where you're going or to get back home. That's your ideal situation. If you're going to buy electric car, Buy it with the knowledge you can only run it around town or within the 50% range of what it's rated at To make it an effective car electric cars are great. I use electric car a lot. They were great I use it but but I was really close to work and all that and so it comes back back in the day in the 70s electric car range was like 50 miles and The realistic especially the winter time was more like 35 or 40 They didn't suffer as badly as lithium-ion batteries do in the winter time But they do as you know and by trying to start a battery and very very close started car and very very cold weather The thing cranks lower the whole the whole engine everything slows the bed down, but the battery is also slowing it down so anyway, I didn't get to all these other articles, but Also briefly Ford has paused Some of their EV advancement and set their time dates back because of the environmental impact that the batteries have on the environment Because these are not green vehicles. They're not zero emission vehicles. They aren't green vehicles It takes a lot more energy to make the lot the ingredients of the make them the mining is a lot more toxic So Ford is actually know actually increasing their promotion of plug-in hybrids They're curtailing a little bit the electric, all electric, and going with plug-in hybrids as a more increasing goal of high-hybrid. And they were all laughing at Toyota at first because they were sticking, they weren't going with the full gonzo electric vehicle, they were going with hybrids, plug-in hybrids. And maybe Toyota was right, because now Ford is starting to head in that direction. And that's really the direction you need to do. Instead of buying a VEB so you're in for your next purchase, if you're gonna buy one, if you're thinking about buying one, go to Hybrid instead. That's my best recommendation to you. That'd have to look a little bit of a drop there because we had a front come in for the evening. After all, we are into September, guys. The pumpkins are, you know, well, there's going to be frost on the pumpkins soon enough. So let's be ready for that. Also, getting ready for seasonal change camouflage wise. We're going out of the green and into the green brown brown and then brown white. So for all of you out there if you haven't currently updated any of your equipment you want to take a look at your material. We're starting to see the Russets coming outside which is where this is the season where the Elpen flaws these Swiss reddish or ruddy camouflage and most people go, where does that work? Well, it actually works more places than you want to talk about, and most people would admit. But it comes into its own, especially into the fall and winter here in Michigan because we have Sumac, we've got a number of other Burgundy base when they go to color. and they stay in that rich burgundy and it's heavy through all of the foliage. We also have red maple here, which turn a burgundy then a dark brown, but the reds are out there, not the least of which is also the wild grape vines. So we have this combination of russet, light red, dark red, yellow with a green, a bright, bright green that still hangs in there. making for a very unique pattern and the Swiss Elpen Flage is a predator pattern. This time of year you are virtually invisible. The only way to describe it. We've tested this many many years since the stuff first started coming in and good quantity. Now there's not as much of it but there's still some surplus out there and it works as long as you understand seasonal deployment of camouflage. And again, eventually we're going to need to tack in some white and gray in there because we're gray green, because we're heading into fall with a leaf drop, and then we're going to have stark white and gray and, you know, bark gray and then some green and a little bit of brown. So it'll be a mix. Anyway, be prepared. The battlefield is developing. The bad guys are going to make their big move, whatever they want to try. We just need to be prepared to deal with it. And we know exactly who's who in the zoo and what we need to do to get rid of the problem. So also, Weapons Wednesday. You know, we were talking about something during the tar block, just randomly came up talking about Winchester rifles. And you know, why didn't the loading gate, why didn't you put the loading gate on the left side? Well, right dominant is, of course, a very common thing and we gotta remember if you're right handed, you're more articulate, competent with the right hand, so operating equipment, that typically is where you go. But it is a sound argument that if I can keep my hand on the control area of the weapon and use my left hand to load, well, if something just happens to pop up, I can start going bang, bang, bang, bang with the gun almost immediately. And case in point is that's really how the Germans were thinking with the HK family of rifles, starting with the CETME working to the, you know, the HK and all of its glory through its issue. The charging handle is forward and on the left side. In other words, your right hand is doing all the work with the weapon to keep it ready and in service, and the left hand does all of the motor work to operate, move everything. This means that your shoulder weld and cheek weld can be maintained, especially if the gun is bipod. If it's bipod fitted, you've got other points of contact for control in the front. So changing mags, operating the charging handle to reintroduce a round of the chamber. Actually it's very logical. But again, from the physical stamina and ergonomic standpoint of how the brain works, The right hand control is dominant with everything from manually operated slash bolt action rifles to pretty much leaving in the same battery the semi-automatic, fully automatic weapons as they developed past the manual, you know, the manual only era. So that's one of the reasons. Articulation, your brain, if you're right handed, the right hand does more. It can do more faster. So that was probably as much as anything the deciding factor with the process of why did they build it that way? Now here's the thing. There are a couple of the lever action companies who have made what they call left-handed lever guns. So they're out there. I just have them off the top of my head. I know because I looked at these about oh probably two weeks ago and it just jumped out that oh they got a couple of left-handed lever guns. Who the hell made, you know, well, it's not smart. I mean, it's cool. Somebody did it. So we're looking for that. Number one, I'd be curious. Classic firearms is, well, at the top of my head, the company I think that had them in stock and they actually had them in a clearance section for a bit too, a few of them. Not that they were down by that much money. They were so pricey. Another thing since, well, why would you be talking about lever guns in a modern age? Guys, every gun we've got is going into this war. Every weapon we have, if you might have a gun collection that Grandpa gave you plus you've collected ARs and M1As and could be any number of weapons, whatever it is you choose, Grandpa's firearms are gonna go into the war, gonna get into service simply because you'll never have enough where you need it when you need it. And casualties in terms of weapons get shot, weapons get busted, weapons wear out, weapons break. It happens. Things get blowed up. They're trying to shoot at you, but everything else can get shot without you getting hit. And because of this, the attrition rate is such in an area of operation where pretty much every weapon you have, you should be able to bring it into service at least in some defensive posture. And what I mean by that is, if you have Well, I mentioned the .32 Winchester. You should have at least a couple of cans of ammo for that gun. A couple of .30 caliber ammo cans. Now, ideally, if you had a larger collection that grandpa left you, I'd buy a .30 caliber can for each of the weapons, and you fill it with ammunition for each of those weapons. The .300 Savage was a very popular cartridge for a very long time here in the United States, and still is used a lot for deer. It used to be the sale cartridge that always showed up in the fall for a really good price. Like, you know, if ammunition was $9 a box, there were six or seven calibers that were usually $5 a box. And this was because they were a priority production cartridge because they were very, very popular. Well, that isn't the case with that round today, but there's a lot of the weapons out there and there's still a lot of ammunition floating around for that rifle. Would I use it sure give it to me? It's just it used to be called 300 Savage also had a name baby 308 win that's where they everybody kind of rated it just our hair under the 308 slash the the 762 by 51 NATO route And it actually is. It performs. Look at the loading specs. You can make it hot. I would point out that when Savage went to that, built that cartridge way before they adopted their new family of guns, they already understood that people were going to wildcat it. And, you know, move it up in pressure, play with different weapons, and in fact, eventually Savage, when it bought its primary rifle in the 50s from Remington. The tactical Savage rifle that everybody loves so much nowadays is actually a Remington design. If you understand the parentage of the action, Remington wanted to switch to its new family of guns. They sold the copyrights, they sold the patents, they sold tooling to Savage, and Savage made a whole new rifle line. Now it didn't blossom until much later with the Savage tacticals. But it's an old design, a very old design. Actually now 70 years old plus. Think about that. It's your grandpa's gun. Well actually it's your great grandpa's gun, to be quite honest. But it's a good weapon. Wouldn't think twice about carrying it. You throw it to me, I'd give you a hug. Where's the ammo? Let's see how it prints and I'd use it. Just that simple. As a package though, what's really cool about these, everything sits inside, sits inside, sits inside, everything has its place. So by the time you're done, you still do have space for probably stuffing in fire starter or ignition systems, you know, in other words, fire making, and or spices, which is the other thing most people tend to forget. Spices are everything. If you have about six, seven basic spices in a kit, and you can change them up, you can virtually, you can completely change the flavor of a meal and therefore increase the number of different meal options Which is a psychological thing about you know feeling good You're not eating the same thing every day people will even if they did get a change up will still complain and believe that they're eating the same thing every day I've seen this you're not gonna make everybody happy, but Flavoring spices spices of course also for health or another thing And a field kit like this, remember you either carry it as needed or you can be thrown in the truck or thrown in the deuce and a half and then pulled as required for the team's use. Because that's again what it was intended for. It's the closest thing to the troops that you're gonna have available. You do have echelon kitchen systems in most militaries. But this is the upfront component so that you're not, well look at it this way, you can't cook out of your helmet anymore, can you? The Kevlar helmet doesn't work over an open fire or even a burner supply of some kind. So you have to have something to cook in. This is why mess kits have become more important or, you know, again, like personal mess kits like the World War II to Vietnam era ones. because they're cooking systems. Everything can be used. You get a canteen cup and a mess kit. Not all you compliment that. Instead of having to worry about cooking your own, you pool all your food together. You've got a cooking system like this and you do a hobo stew, but with a cook that knows what he's doing, oh, you're eating like a king. In fact, with these pans, if somebody knows what they're doing, campfire biscuits are easy to make. So, technically, fresh bread in the field, yeah, I know they make emery bread, but I know they make all kinds of freeze-dried stuff. But fresh bread, especially, you know, somebody knows what they're doing, then you bring along a few other items, that's filling the void when the time comes. And psychologically, it's a big pick-me-up, so... These are worthwhile. I didn't know the Swiss had them. Thank you for bringing it up. Well, thank you because I again, I haven't seen everything and there's a lot of people doing a wide variety of work out there again One of the things that he's done is both tactical application material and equipment and Deployment actually getting in the field fire maneuver or movement and understanding the intricacies, which are not, you can wrap your brain around them, but you need to first visualize, which is what he's done, and then you have the ability to step in and mimic. That's what you're supposed to do. You're going to look at his work, you take a look at what he's done, everybody can cherry pick as needed. You also may have to adjust what you see because as we mentioned earlier, you may need a very different piece of terrain. There isn't a single system that works in terms of camouflage for everywhere on the planet, period. There's always some place where it's like, man, I'm not really camouflaged much of it all, am I? But again, if you know where the area of operation is that you're going to be working, If you take a look at the camouflage videos that he's done and on the different types of patterns that are out there, some which many people have told me, well, I don't see how that works. Well, get it in the field. One of the things about camouflage is the whole idea of what is called deception or dazzle pattern design and misdirection. Now, here's one of the things you'll notice. One of the most effective seasonal camouflages I've ever had. I would rate the Swiss Alpine Flauge up there on the towards the top, but it's the Czech airborne uniform from the 60s. This pattern was not isolated to the Czechs though. It was done in different color ranges and used by the Finns. The Norwegians adopted one variant on it. But the check pattern, when you saw it in an office, it was like, man, what the hell is that? And it was a wide range of medium green, bright green, tan, or I would say, doe color, which was in the minority, a small flecks of white here and there, and almost like a yellow range color, and black. Now the smaller minority colors were little variants, but black and this extreme like bright green were the two base colors that would jump out at you. However, the black you really wouldn't think about. But what happens with a large format pattern like this is your eyes are trying to select and your subconscious is trying to select light or dark, light or dark. So, what happens with the subconscious mind is it goes back and forth. This is why they call it a dazzle pattern. And the mind doesn't register one color with the other. It works. It works incredibly well. It's one of the few pattern camouflages I was able to put on maybe 100 men and walk them over terrain exposed And people would have a difficult time defining numbers and even selecting the location of the individual. I tested people with this. Actually, I used to give classes and I'd have a couple of platoons that I would have spread out at about a mile away. And I had a moving cross country in a relatively exposed area with tree lines left and right. I'd have an element moving with a tree line to the left, one tree line to the right where they were running on the edge of it, not fully concealed even, just moving in front of the tree, parallel tree lines perpendicular to where I had the class set up. And I would have a company strength unit that would be deployed and I would be explaining to them the use of foreign camouflage and how it works. Well, at a given point, and I intentionally angled the class so that, you know, people look around, not everything you say when you're instructing is exciting to everybody. and I would watch, because remember, as the instructor, I'm the audience. You always think it's the other way around. And it was interesting because I'd have these three, well, four elements, two of them exposed, moving cross-country towards the position from more than a little under or more than a mile away, depending on where we were, where I set the class up. And one at a time, somebody would look, and you could see their expression because they saw, they could see motion, But they were trying to figure out what they were seeing. And they'd notice one element, but they wouldn't notice the other, or they'd be so fixated, trying to, you could see they're moving their head. They're trying to, you know, like squint, then you see them turn one eye one way, and then they turn their head with a gain eye the other. And what was happening is they're trying to figure out what they're looking at. And as the individuals who get closer, usually it's about the quarter mile mark, well yeah, there's people moving on you, but with the terrain and even an open terrain, this camouflage pattern created an incredible blend in and disruption cycle. And literally using this piece of this particular pattern, I've had people walk right on me. Now this is not a real detailed pattern like say real tree or let's say the real hyper detailed thing you're seeing now is Multiscam. Okay. Oh, and by the way, there's a new name. If you use multicam now, the smartasses will go, oh, that's not multicam. That's mid-lat 402. Or that's Dingleberry 623. That's not multicam. That's the fill-in-the-bun. And you know what? Lay them all side by side. All they're doing now is variance just for the sake of selling crap to the military is what they're doing. Just for spending our money. Okay. So what's fascinating is that this is not a muddy pattern the way you actually end up looking at multicam. Instead, the contrast is so great that the human silhouette at different ranges is broken up completely so there's no human outline to ID. And I guess it's, I'm trying to describe something you have to physically see, but just to give you an idea, the patterns, what you would think should work, May or may not work because its overall format silhouette once you're done putting all the same camouflage on May still conflict with your background now. Here's another problem. I've explained many many times there is no place in a urban area or a Farming area where you can find a camouflage that's going to do everything why well, okay? You're going from right right now. Let me give an example You're crossing reddened orchards with green with thatch or drying grass below in tan. And you move from that to a pine line, which I'm describing terrain that's right down the road progressively that I would move through here, where you have full pine frond, 50, 60-year-old pine stands. You move beyond that, you're in the middle of a swamp district with reed that's browning and going to tan. On top of that, you got wheat fields that are going, or the ones that are out there, and there's not as much wheat here in this area right now. But the wheat's going to start turning, so it's going thatched tan. Plus you've got soybean green. Plus you have corn, which is now starting to turn, although there's moving a lot of that for silage right now. Some of the noise you've heard in the background may be in big trucks. It's either our guys, or it's the big silage semis coming through out of the fields. and the corn has got what? A real light light green, a medium green streak, and it's got that pan starting to work through it. You all seem dry corn in the field. So what camouflage is gonna work best for all of that? What are you gonna do? I mean, so what you have to do, and this is why they're, you know, you have to pick a direction and then make a point of when you're moving to constantly put as much junk between you and a suspected enemy direction or approach or in other words covering yourself with with by using the terrain completely in all directions in many cases. The open field is not where you want to be ever. So using the terrain and minimizing exposure is obviously the first choice. Then it's the base color range depending upon the season and this is why as I said at the beginning of the program here start getting ready or change out some of your equipment. For instance, I've got brown out gear that's going out now that Nancy made for neck and head cover that is going to offer, you know, it's cold weather, light cold weather gear into cold weather, you know, wet white, but it's a brown green combination that's a larger separation of print. Now actually she knitted all these things. But that's going on board because it's a head cover face cover It's got enough of a breakup with the shading right now that it'll still just now start to work in Remember that you're keeping your body covered whenever possible But you got to poke your head up once a while at least peek around things You better start thinking in advance about making sure you're not a fleshy pink or a dark, you know black-skinned individual because That's not natural out there You need to adapt, adopt, forgive me not adapt, you'll be adapting things, yes. But you need to adopt something that's going to more effectively at least allow the upper body to blend in effectively because, and even if you had to improvise, that should be your first priority. If you're moving through foliage, your knees are pretty well undercover, okay? Almost all the time. If you crouch, Two thirds of your body is protected from being visibly spotted. But you need to start thinking about draping. If you have to improvise, you want to drape to cover so that when you crouch down, your knees will be covered. A poncho is usually the first best quickest way to create some limited cover, especially if you're not tactically clothed. That's why ponchos, the survival blankets with the camouflage outer side, the more expensive ones, quick paper coveralls. We were able to access those several years ago in several different camo patterns. Now they're lightweight, you can stuff them in a trunk, you're not going to mold, you throw it on real quick, throw some other gear on top of that or at least some other tactical gear or subdue it with other drapes and such. You're out of sight. Remember, first rule, try to get out of sight. And since in many cases you people are talking about survival, escape and evasion, Well, in other words, evacuation from an area, then you want to not be seen whenever possible. You don't want anybody to observe you. You want them to think that everything's just fine. Nobody here to worry about. Nothing here of interest. Nothing here to see. That's what you're trying to create. So anyway, it's tough with radio to do this and please take time to go over to security guy 42 Check out all his videos. I am dead cold serious about this because everything he's done is useful We've done everything we can from our end, but everything that he's done on the on the channel I think I don't think they pulled anything is useful. By the way, on that note, let me point something out. I have to emphasize this. Guys, well some people ask, why would you want to know about that old equipment? Guys, what do you think National Guard Reserve and military people have been preparing for this? What do you think that they accumulated? You think they're going to have the brand new Schmidlapp 406 that was built last week? What do you think the guys have been hoarding away and storing away for what's coming? You see the stuff that's being covered there? That's the stuff you'd better be familiar with first. Why? Everybody goes, oh, why don't people step up? And why doesn't somebody do this? Well, don't worry, they have been. But you need to know. And let me give another example. Japanese grenade launcher, World War II, they call it the knee, everybody called it the knee mortar that knows better because we should have called it the knee breaker. Okay, it was not a knee mortar. But it is, I cannot believe that we didn't carry back half the inventory from World War II that the Japanese had in those. And just as a hint, I have seen so many of those.
