Wanna say hi? Everybody's gonna be busy this weekend. Very, very serious conversations already were had and everybody is pretty well on the same page. I guess everybody's figured out. No time to lose. It's obvious that bad guys are making their move.
We need to be prepared to put them down hard. So for that reason, train, train well. Remember, train as you will fight, for you will fight as you have trained. First and most important rule to remember when you're going to be working on an FTX. Anyway, see a couple things, ammunition-wise. I have had to laugh. I have been listening to some of the drivel that has been put out there by the idiot sticks on the other side. It's always comical.

something that they absolutely know nothing about. And of course, as one guy pointed out, it's like, wow, let's see. A lot of people hunting with 270 would kind of argue, you know, we beg to differ with you about that 223 round, 556. But of course, don't leave out 30 out 6, 440 Remington.
444 Marlin, let's see 4570, there's a freight train for you coming down the range at 500 grains of lead. Not as fast as everything else, but by God, when it hits you, it hammers you, okay?
So of course, you wouldn't go hunting with an AR-15, like you're hunting, it's just so devastating. Now I'm not gonna argue that it's not effective, because that's ridiculous. If you know what you're doing with any of the weapons that are out there right now, they're presently available, they will put you down so hard, you won't get back up. Including the AR-15 family of rifles, no matter what they're chambered in, pretty much. The AK 7.62x39, or it's 7.4 counterpart, and 5.45x39, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
But we're carrying much bigger typically. I mean, most of the militia are carrying MBRs. We have AR-15s, but most of the militia units that are committed to battlefield supremacy are carrying a significant number of 7.62x51 NATO, .30-06, and other weapons like .50 caliber BMG. Now, we don't use those very much for deer hunting.
For obvious reasons, I mean you could for big game hunting. You're especially fun, right? Yeah Well, if you know about 460 weather being all the other fun ones the big boys out there It's yeah 50 color BMG would kind of have an application on certain jobs and it's something we always need to take into consideration So for everybody out there again It's not a matter of if it's just a matter of when you're gonna apply those tools in the toolbox, but I
Please shut up. The other side won't shut up. They're just going to continue to flap through yet. Have no clue, but tell you all about how they're so knowledgeable about absolutely nothing. Anyway, because of this, I still will remind you that if you have any of your bigger, better, larger, bore weapons of any kind, let's make sure we keep topping off the ammo can.
Basic rule is, no, a couple of boxes won't do, but how about I'll go buy a .30 caliber steel ammo can, a standard model, and fill it up with something that fits each of the rifles. Each can should have the ability to feed the rifle that's under, so to speak, for a period of time, at least to be used for security, game getting, or whatever else might be necessary.
And it's not hard to figure out how to make things work, but what you do if you got a 30-30 and maybe it's not your primary rifle, there's a dozen different sources, but I will point out that still I think the best price for 30-30 Winchester right now is PPU, preview partisan, and they have had it on a regular basis over at AIM Surplus.
still for a better price than most. Now if you find some federal, I don't know if federal is doing cheap ammo anymore, it used to be they did, and if you wanted to, you know, if you had the seasonal bargains when deer season came up, there were about five or six, sometimes up to seven standard calibers, depending on what year you were, you know, hunting, that were the sale calibers. In other words, they were always going to be cheap. 30-30-35 Remington, 270, we already mentioned, 243 wind of course.
And so, those are the basic calibers were the dominant civilian game getting cartridges that were popular at the time. Now that changed over a period of decades. However, a preview partisan PPU, which is available through AIM, AIMsurplus.com, they're not the only ones, but they still seem to have the best price on an average over the counter.
30, 30, 35 Remington, I mentioned before there, 270, most of the military calibers. So get a 30 caliber can, and for each of those grandpa guns or the odd man out weapons you have, at least have a full 30 caliber can of whatever on the shelf. It doesn't all have to even be the same bullet. If you got a deal, you went to an estate sale and you ran into two or three boxes of
150, 145 grain or 160 grain, 30, 30, whatever it is, could be anything. Could be in a year or two. Yeah, if it's loose, buy it. Put it in a Ziploc bag, put it in the can. Fill the can up to the best of your ability with ammunition and then shut it tight. If you want to keep buying more, get another 30 caliber can. 30 cal cans are easy to handle, not too heavy about.
It's going to be about 20 to 22 pounds, as little as 16 depending on what you put in it. But the average weight is going to be just under 20 pounds per can. So that's something everybody can carry. You give them a rifle, here's the ammo, congratulations, that's all I got. So whatever you got, use it well and don't just bram-fray. But 270, same way. If you got a bolt gun, at the very least.
Any of your bulk comes in reality if you want to load up a 50 cal can, remember that's 44 pounds, 40 to 44 pounds per can depending on what you load that can with and heavier if it's 50 caliber BMG with links. So just something to think about with that one. But remember the basic weights on these are consistent. So the 30 caliber can is more manageable for everybody.
The big thing here again is typically the boxes are built so that they actually for the most part fit well quite nicely right into the 30-caliber can standing upright and you can do a nice job of packing your standard factory animal that way in the box if you choose to do so. A lot of people strip it out of the boxes, put it into the Ziploc or into the seal and meal bags and then it goes into the can. Whichever you choose to do that's fine by me, you're the one managing your supply system.
So, 30 caliber cans and 50 caliber cans would be a real good idea, but let's start hunting for and topping off those cans with ammunition that will serve a purpose with the weapons that you have.
Now, I've had a couple emails I looked at today, and it was good because I didn't catch them Wednesday, but I did catch them this midday. People asking about, what about 16 gauge? Is there any out there? Yes, there is actually. More in some places than others, and 16 gauge was as popular as 12, more popular than 20, and as popular as 12 gauge for a very long time.
When I went down to the southwest and I was stationed down in Fort Wegotcha, Fort Ochuca, when you go out to the gun shops in town, there were two good sized ones, really big ones. In fact, the hardware had a gun shop inside it as big as the regular gun shop down the road. So they were competing, but they sold product constantly.
Anyway, when I went down there, they had a whole aisle. I'm not just talking like a shelf. I'm talking an aisle 10 feet long, maybe 12, and on both sides was nothing but 16 gauge ammunition of any, every kind you can imagine. Every manufacturer you could think of, 16 gauge in the Southwest. I think mostly it's because of Mexico too, because a lot of stuff got slid across the border, but 16 gauge was incredibly popular as a utility load down there.
A lot of people shot it too, just used it. But 12 gauge had another aisle with both sides covered for the whole thing slugged, shot of every kind, every kind of manufacturer you can think of too. Some I'd never heard of. So wherever this guy was, you know, this area was covered by whatever distributor, they were doing a stinking good job of coming up with every kind of flavor ammo you could imagine.
So, yeah, 16 gauge is out there, not like that up in this neck of the woods. But if you shop around, look around, especially the smaller gun shops, they're trying to find ammunition anyway to put more variety on the shelf. There's a couple down the road here that have at least four or five different flavors of 16 gauge in standard shell. And again, it can be some number four buck, number six, and typically also a hodgepodge of
8 to 8 and a half to 9. Is it viable? Hell yeah, you're dead. Any bunny you shoot at with a 16 gauge, bunny, B-U-N-N-Y, or bird, you want to take out with the 16 gauge, will go down just fine. If you want to use it for defense, same with the bipeds. They go down just fine. The big thing is you're going to run into a lot of 16 gauges out there cheap for the very reason I mentioned because ammunition is just not around like it used to be. Most people not have it in their mind.
that, oh, 16 gauge, that's the odd man. The good thing is, good thing, if you're looking for them, example, Stevens pump guns and the like, which are like the Model 66 or 67, et cetera, those guns are relatively cheap on the market. They're all steel receivers, they're all steel parts. They were built back when it was wood-steel combination. They typically are four in the tube, or four in the magazine tube.
One in the chamber so five shot and they're still laying around for as little as 65 70 dot at a you know like yard sales or even the flea markets and estate sales And it's because they are the odd man out so
Are they worth picking up? Well, I would say this. Let me point some out again. Most people if I say, hey, go buy a $1,000 AR-15, go buy a bunch of $40 magazines, go buy the most expensive 556 ammo you can, wrap it all up, put it into tubes, first put it in, grease it, clean everything, can the ammo so it can't be touched by anything else because you don't want to touch no grease, such as your ammo, or oil, or water.
store everything properly, put it in a tube and bury, oh, $2,000 worth of stuff underground. Now some people have done that, okay, but you probably are going to go, what? On the other hand, if I say, hey, there's a $65 16 gauge over there, you can go down the road here, you can buy 10 rounded 20 and 25 round boxes of 16 gauge because there is a mix. I don't know where all these came from.
for, well, four or five dollars for the 10 shot at the most and, you know, 10 shot box, but you can buy a whole bunch of other mixed lots for whatever and for a whopping total of maybe 30, $40 in ammunition and a 65 or a $70 shotgun, I can put that in a tube after I clean everything up and put a carry system together for the shells and bury it and you go, okay.
And a 16 gauge will be just fine to carry over until you can Strip bare-ass naked whatever enemy operative you decide to take out with that 16 gauge Remember, we're never gonna play fair and remember you're hunting them harder than they think they're hunting you always So yeah, the 16 gauge is a look at it this way if you have a bunch of weapons like that now unless like I said And I'll let me qualify this
If you've got an inheritance and it's considered significant, in other words, you don't sell grandpa's shotgun. If you've got great grandpa's shotgun or grandpa's shotgun, you don't sell grandpa's shotgun. That's an heirloom that's going down through the family, okay?
So if you got that, and you are gonna keep it, if it's not a family heirloom, you'd have to make a decision, is somebody else gonna give you more money for it and it is more valuable to them as a collector's item than it is to you as a weapon on the shelf that was just one of a dozen or a hundred or whatever, you might have inherited any significant collection or a nice collection. If it's not something that you wanna release, then my recommendation is again, do the math on it.
If it's the odd man out, that's the weapon that makes a great cash weapon. And there's usually 22s, 16 gauges like that, some odd man out, 12 gauge guns, 20 gauge guns. They're good enough so you can have not one cash out there, but multiple cash is out there are a good thing. So you want to make sure that you put the technology together and rate it.
and then figure out where you want to go with it. Of course, we've talked about that before. There are many different places and ways that you can cash additional firearms. And you should also be adding to that inventory. There's never a time when you can't find something that is cheap or free and you get it, you fix it up, clean it up. I used to make a point of going after
and trying to find the 10, 15 and $20, oh my God, that's ugly rifles at the gun show. What I would do is just a lot of times got it for free. I mentioned this many times on the air, got it for free, or $15. K98 Mausers, 6.5 Dutch Mausers, anything, I don't care what it is. First of all, I'm not gonna worry about putting a fancier, nicer stock on it. I mean, it was already probably sporterized. That's the most common reason that they're cheap, they're been cobbled.
And so for $15, well first of all, look at the bore. Clear enough? Yep, still got a hole. Chamber, not rusted up, not beat up. Okay, look at the crown of the barrel, because that's what we might have to fix. And basically what you do is break the gun down, clean the stock up. It's been chopped and cobbled, cleaned it up. Set that off to the side. Go over every metal part of the gun, get rid of any oxidation, clean everything up, and make a choice. Do you want to paint it?
Do you want to Krylon paint it? Just camouflage it? Do you want to flatten it? Do you have a source? We have had sources for decades do park rising. And so a lot of the handout rifles that I've built like this are park-arised. Don't have to be. And you just easily be. In fact, even if they came out from storage from wherever, whatever dark place they are, might just as quickly be re-camouflaged with some Krylon over top of the park-arising. Who cares? There you go. Now you got a tactical, you know, rifle.
including the wood, we don't care about that. But the thing is that the weapon basically I put a nine power scope on the roof, the scope rings you get for either a couple dollars or usually thrown in with a nine power scope that somebody's pulled from a gun. You've dropped it on the roof, clean up the bore chamber, polish that if you want to, half the time that isn't real, more than half the time it isn't necessary. The weapon actually is not that bad.
Once you got rid of all the oxidation, done all the repainting, and you've fitted the scope to the weapon, I've used B-square mounts, and the weapons sometimes are tapped, so we use the existing taps, whatever's been done there. Then, the only thing that you may want to do to improve performance on a hand-me-down or a tired rifle is to back-set the crown.
Now this is an old armors trick that nobody tells you about. Everybody goes, you're going to need a new barrel. Look at how worn the crown on that barrel is. Well, do you think the bore is worn out all the way? Typically it's not. You know how the crown got worn out?
It got worn out because of the last 20, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 years. Somebody put a steel cleaning rod down the front of that barrel and they kept working it. And you know what? It does take time, but if you just keep rubbing with your fingernail, you can get through steel. In this case, they weren't rubbing with a fingernail. They were using a piece of quality metal as weevil wobbles, okay?
Now, when we're talking about back setting, what you can do, and in fact you can do this several times, you can resuscitate a barrel as many times as you choose to do so, and depending on how long the barrel is, let's remember that we can also take down a certain amount of material from the fascia of the barrel itself at the end of the barrel. We're typically, again, that's the crown.
When the crown wears down the bullet when it leaves the barrel has variants because the release can be you know can be in any one of the all points of the compass With greater release on one side and aggression on the other what you do by setting back the crown is create a uniform flat surface By boring look what what you do is literally bore down
the inside the barrel. You don't take the whole barrel down. You do this inside the barrel and you re-cut basically the crown and flatten that area on the inside uniformly so that what you have is a uniform crisp release of the bullet from the rifling, the lands and the grooves. It's the cheapest, easiest way to fix 99% of the old weapons we have out there. They don't need a new barrel. You just need to know how to do a little gunsmithing.
So this is one of those things that everybody needs to do a little research on and understand how to do. And many of these rifles, it'll tighten them right back up to almost original spec. Now remember those barrels in many cases actually have been shot a little or a lot. So we're not expecting this thing to be a tack driver at 1,000 yards.
But I will make you nervous at 1,000 yards. I can make you very nervous. In fact, if I really know where the bullet hits with that weapon, I'd probably tag your hind end. Is it a master rifle for it? No, that's not what it's supposed to be. It can be used as an area security weapon. These are weapons you can hand out where you have people who are, again, they were stripped of everything. They lost everything. They got away with their underpants and their bearskin. Now they're available. You gotta re-outfit them.
Now we can do better, but eventually we're going to be using everything up that we have. So we need to be thinking ahead about cycling out and putting into service all of these different arms that we might have available.
It's fun anyway, so it's a challenge to take you know a Pig's ear and turn it into a lamb's ear notice. I didn't say silk purse You can't take a solace here and turn it into a silk purse No, but I can make it a lot softer and fuzzier and warmer and appealing Which is what you're trying to do now. There's a lot more sophisticated and newer weapons out there Shazam sergeant Carter, but we're gonna be using everything
Remember that. And so you need to have a plan now. We are the thinkers. They have the stinkers. Like a careless what they think or what their theorem is, we'll understand and know about it. But we're not going to study the ways of the enemy. Beware. Study not too closely the ways of your enemy, lest they become yours. And wastefulness, incompetence, stupidity, and foolishness are at the epicenter of their philosophy.
Well, homie don't play that game. Okay? So anyway, again, 30 caliber, 243, 6.5, whatever, doesn't make any difference what it is, go check out AIM Surplus, and also Classic Firearms, because yes, they do carry an interesting mix. However, I will point out, many of the different companies don't have the price that AIM does for the calibers that are more unique, especially in the military.
There are many people who carry PPU, but very few carry it for the same price that AIMS Surplus carries it for. Anyway, they're not advertising with us, so don't worry about that. Oh, you're just pushing them because they're printing out. They're just people we know in terms of they do business and they'll probably do business with you quite comfortably, if you know what I mean. I'll tell you what, Edward, we're at the bottom of the first hour here.

You'll recognize it if you haven't read the whole thing, you need to, and then think about what Tucker Carlson did last night. Friends, countrymen, lend me your ears.
Of course, don't throw them at me. And don't throw me somebody else's, you just cut off either. But anyway, that is the beginning of what is the epic, literally complete turn flipping of the minds of the audience by forcing them to look at truths as if they were fiction, but they're not. No one would ever do anything like this, but wait, Caesar did.

Those cans are handy for also medical gear and particularly especially for medical gear. There's stuff that's odd lengths and you want it to be armored slash protected. Some of the electronics and such that are going to go into the fields or into the field with the medics. That was one of the other reasons I wanted those cans. They would be repainted. They'd also be marked accordingly. So that way again, and by the way, as long as I just said repainting, that was one thing I wanted to mention.
Guys, only clean the oxidation off of the can. If you have a can that has a little rust or a little rust mark, just clean the oxidation off. Don't strip the cans ever. The paint that's on there, depending on what year you bought it, is probably either zinc or lead-based. Oh my God, no, Mark, it couldn't be. Yeah, that's a good thing. The paint will last longer and you'll live.
That's why most cases it's still on even though those cans have been stored. I mean they granted their abuse a different type of death different paints depending on what year but they used to use a lead-based paint Don't ever cut all that paint off of anything you've got. I don't care if it's an armored vehicle I mean, like I said, I was beating my brains out on a Bren gun carrier for a while then realized wait, but what am I doing? It's got like 14 coats of paint. They're all military grade. They're all lead based and
Hell no, leave it right where it is, just clean up the spots that have bullet creases. I had bullet scars on the one panel and I was trying to clean it up and it was like, no, no, no, no, no. Hell with that, well, use your kidneys. You don't have to use your brain. And so the same is true with ammo cans. Clean up the oxidation only, buff that down as best you can, use plastic brushes so you don't take and get too aggressive with the whatever's there except for the oxidation.
and then clean that with, once you clean it, you can use whatever prep you want to and keep it just locally. Don't try to interact with the rest of the paint. And then touch that up or spot that up. And if you want to paint everything after you've cleaned the can up in general, paint it again. Another coat of paint won't hurt any metal object you've got. What you're doing is creating an oxygen barrier. So painting is good.
More paint is good. Never is it really bad, except where there are working areas where things have to move. Always take that into consideration. You've got to be careful and apply less where there are bearing and contact surfaces that have to move and interact. You don't want to overload those areas. You're always careful with the paint. Apparently it was originally German and it had to do with the Dodge Brothers opening the plant there back in 1914, I believe. And then later on the Poles moved in en masse. And there's still some Polish names in some of the businesses on the streets, but there's the whole, we are the world, everybody else is there as well right now. Over.
Yeah, well the thing is that they voted out the Pufteflakes. However, how did this happen? Because you see, this is the one thing that the Pufte's didn't really expect, slash the hyper leftist. And apparently while the tradesman was in there, working on the ceiling, the floor of the ceiling caved in because they had stacked the pounds and pounds of crew grants on the rafters over the dining room. And so the- Golden's very heavy.
Yeah, Colton was very heavy and apparently it rained Krugerans, which of course now you got to remember, Mel Colman Young was a Detroit man. He was a black man and of course he was incensed because of South Africans and apartheid and we got to hate apartheid, but he liked South African gold. And by the way, at the time, Krugerans were illegal in the United States. And Colman Young, a black guy, was in trouble, okay?
At this time, the one element of Detroit that Mayor Coleman Young did not control was Polkum. That includes the Hamtremec area. It was a voter block that could not be defeated because it was a specific population group all went to church together. They all knew each other, and it was a community. So Mayor Coleman Young, with cooperation from the federal government, their mission was to bust down
on coal, got to get rid of poll town. Because after all, vote for me and I'll set you free. I'll give you free cash while the crack war burns down the rest of Detroit. The crack war, by the way, ended right there at the boundaries of Amtrak, and poll town. And they were pushed back. In fact, not only they pushed back, but they were getting frustrated because big dope money couldn't get in there. Okay, give them a lot of money and they started pushing.
Why? Foreign imports. Because after all, and what's really fascinating, the Jewish mob is the one and the black population, the black mob that was Coleman Young's clique, were the ones who took federal money and they started importing both into the Pam Trammock slash Polkown area and also Dearborn, Michigan. You know, the headquarters for Ford Motor Company?
Well, Dearborn's in the same boat, and you've probably seen videos of this. So it's rather fascinating as you see, this was done by the ring knockers. The reason that hand traffic is the way that it is is because they started chipping away, and there were two ways that they did this. They attacked the area when Coleman Young proposed with federal money and state money, a power plant that burned the city trash.
And they decided that it just had to be in Poltow. And so through eminent domain, they started grabbing and stealing the properties of the Polish population in Poltow. And they pushed a whole bunch of them out. Well, they didn't quite use all of what they stole for the trash plant. On top of that, it's really fascinating the whole story in Epic there. They built the trash plant, the federal and state money did it.
and city money was tied in and of course they cranked it up and it started producing smoke and everybody goes oh my god it's producing smoke and the eco-freeks called out so they spent all this money on this this pit they bumped out Polish population which was really the big plan then they turned around and basically shut down the trash the trash burner
And again, there was politics on this back and forth, but now that they moved a percentage of the population out of the way and they had all these pieces of property they'd stolen, well, there's no sense in not using them. So they didn't tear down the buildings that they were going to, not all of them. Houses, and when they turned around and under the federal

The sounds that you relate to when you would think about combat action or even you know the what's taking place before you in your presence and you're on a ship especially since they stated that the ocean was calm the night that that That the whole action took place
Guys, you could talk from one ship to the next. You didn't have to shout. Water is a very strange thing and night effect would sound as very different. So when you hear that loon, in reality, that's very realistic representation of the way that they were oriented to the event. In that, you know, there's the creaking of some parts of the ship. There's the men arm-strugging the guns.
The the sound should be very different from probably what you would think Because you're thinking combat. I think the best representation. I know I always use this movie but the guy who did the Cinematography for Last of the Mohicans. How many of you ever watched Last of the Mohicans? It's not a new movie. So for some people if you're younger, you might not have it. You need to go watch it. There are some tremendously effective
representations there that are absolutely on the money. One of them is when the main, when the one, when the long carabiner and the, his dad and his brother and the women and the officer being chased through the woods. There's a spot where you see they're moving through the woods and they can see what is some kind of illumination and they get closer and you see more of it and then you start to hear the sound.
And the accuracy of it, what's interesting is if you've ever been around artillery pieces, I've been around muzzle loading cannon a lot. I actually grew up with muzzle loading heavy cannon. And my, you know, my, it was a Civil War reenactment era, okay? I went to a lot of meets. I got to see a lot of the stuff from every range you can imagine, even from above a little bit, depending on where the meetups were with the gun range.
And the image that they project there is part of what you would want to use for the tie, you know, to really, if you wanted to sculpt that battle and bring it into play, the sound effects. Because most of us don't realize, one of the things in cinematography that has changed dramatically is the accuracy in adding soundtracks, subtracts, and sub-subtracks to create a more three-dimensional feel with the subconscious, okay?
And the best example is that you would have, think about it, you would just have the creaking of the ship you're on. You're not gonna hear mechanical sounds and engines and motors turning, gun turrets swinging around. It wasn't that era. So imagine you can actually hear the men on both sides calling out orders. You can hear the men and the sounds in the fort.
You could hear everything as if you, I mean literally you would be, you're in the midst of it. You were in the center of the action and sound, especially at night, like I said, remember it carries very differently than it does during the day. So for the witnesses who watched that happen, they heard the cries, they watched the cannon, they had a grand view. And it's why the song

You guys can all watch this too. He hasn't been in the building before. Nobody else is returning fire. Nobody is shooting at him. Hopefully somebody would if they were armed, right?
So when he goes into the building and he goes in the main entrance and he starts to walk down the hallway straight down the hallway from the door, why does he bend down and pick up a magazine laying on the floor? Where did that come from? How did that work? Please explain that one to me. You can all watch it. That's part of the endless backpack of magazines that show up in the video game. The act began as a CB radio emergency channel 9 monitoring organization across the United States and Canada in 1962. Initially the primary role of react volunteers was to monitor channel 9 the CB emergency channel to help motorists. Come on page of just bump my page up.
Later, duties grew to include communications after disasters such as tornadoes and floods, and in some places before disasters such as
storm spotting as well react safety communications for parades, runs or walks and other community events became prominent. Now we act teams barely you see there are primarily a large percent percentage have now added amateur, FRS, GMRS, multi-use radio services, MURS, trunk radio systems and business band radio to their public service capabilities.
Their original purpose to monitor CB has largely gone by the wayside. Each REACT team is unique and fills a local purpose. The original purpose of monitoring emergency channel 9 for distress calls is not needed as it once was due to the increased availability of cellular phones, but this task is still performed in some remote locations.
Some teams just banned it when they need to see the non-monitoring wing. Other teams became creative and found other things to do in their communities, blah blah blah. So it's there. If anybody wants to look it up, just look up R, period E, period A, period C, period D. Emergency, you can look it up. Basically, they are an emergency response 911 operator for radio that volunteers, they're not paid.

People come out and do that. There are also instances where there is violence, where there is firearms that have been set off, you know, whether accidentally or on purpose. If it's on purpose, you know, they have to wait for, they're trained to wait for law enforcement to show up, to clear the area, to make sure it's safe for them to come in and do work. Unfortunately, you know, it didn't used to be that way.

So I went up there because literally the accident happened right behind their station. So I went up there to, you know, hey, I took a tumble. So they patched me up and said, hey, you got to get go to the emergency room. Even after doing that, not calling an ambulance, not dealing with anything, just going to the ER. If I go to page, you know, if there's a thousand pages, and I go to page 622, and I go to the second paragraph, and it has classified top secret. Top secret and top secret. And you can look at it and go, okay, there's what we got to worry about. Now, I can't peel that page out from this document. It's a 1,000 page document. There's only one paragraph in one page of the whole document. But because of that, the senior or highest security rating is what the entire document gets because of that paragraph.
Even if it was theoretically redacted, that does not qualify this document to be released until it is declassified completely. You could redact and say, well, it's redacted, yeah, but it's still classified as top secret. So it doesn't make any difference. But you need to invest in reloading dies, even if you don't have a reloading press. But you know what? Get at least a C press. Now it still can be bought over the counter if it's on the shelf, but it is standard amoxicillin. Straightforward to understand if you're familiar with how amoxicillin has been used, fine. If not, do a little research, you'll figure it out. The pteromyosin, the reason I mentioned it is that is the ophthalmolic cream. That is something I recommend you get if you have any livestock or cats or dogs or small animals or big animals.

shooter supply, Natchez is a great source. In fact, the only thing is their page. I don't know if they've improved a little bit recently, but their page is a long drink of water to go through. Okay, just be patient. But Natchez shooter supply has some tremendous buys. They always have some items that are, you know, end of. You need to go check them out. Got a really good deal on 38 special dies over at Natchez.
And I don't know if there are any left. I got pointed, everybody to it in our circles to try and clear them out. But they did have some really good buys on 38 special dies, RCBS. And they also had, I believe, some lead. We got everything we could because 38 is one of those that we've invested in decades ago. Everybody has in the bottom of the state. We modeled 10s, we were hunting and cleaned off the shelves.
Taurus, you know, Model 66 is Smith, Model 10s, Model 14s, Model 19s. Ruger, Speed and Security 6, Colt's in the official police. And many of the official police, as we can find, but they were already long in the tooth as far as, and also expensive. But the official police is the counterpart to the Smith and Wesson Standard Police Model 10.
And all these weapons, same speed loaders, same basic leather and everything will work or cross over. Barrel lengths are approximately the same, although there are variants and quite a few of them with both families, Colt and Smith's. Colts are a little more conservative and consistent, but Smith did do some odds and ends stuff. And you can always order a custom barrel from both Colt and Smith. Always remember that. Well, they couldn't make a barrel that length.
Yeah, well actually they did but it turns out maybe if your uncle Fred is the one who bought it He probably went to Smith custom house and had the thing made to his specs You might find there's other things different on your gun Because that happens with a lot of weapons that were built back in the day the other thing about the again both Natchez and Atlantic it doesn't have so much reloading, but they do have a lot of interesting stuff and sometimes components what I mean by components projectiles
You need to look to see what they have on the shelf, Atlantic Firearms, but you're going to have to peruse the whole system to find primers, powder, etc. And 38 Special is pretty broad loaded. Any powder that was out there that was cheap, people figured out how to make it work in 38. And then 357 Magnum. So you'd be surprised what the formulas are that are out there for 38 Special.
Another thing, I know I had a, I did have another email today. I caught you guys, thank you. I mentioned 44 Smith and Wesson and everybody got excited. 44 Magnum is all over the place. I've been mentioning this for the last couple of weeks, you might have known, well, months now. I've been running into 44 Magnum, you know, the Dirty Eric and cartridge for the Smith and Wesson Model 29. Yeah, or the Black Hawk.
But 44 Smith and Wesson, the only real good source for that is cowboy shooting. Unfortunately, they're charging cowboy shooter prices for brass case with lead bullet. And you know what the difference between 44 Magnum and 44 Special is? One is slightly shorter than the other. That's it. So in other words, if I were making 44 Magnum cases, if I want to make 44 Special cases, all I have to do is roll back the cutter die
For the length, that's it. Actually program it nowadays, it's all programmed. And I can be cranking out 44 special like there's no tomorrow. One neat thing to remember is if you run into 44 special and you have a 44 Magnum, the 44 special will work in the 44 Magnum the way 38 special works in the 357 Magnum.
But the problem with shooting that ammo, the .44 Smith and Wesson, is there's a whole bunch of people who have guns out there that need that cartridge. They need the light. They need that cartridge light. So we need to try and prioritize. One of those things about husbanding our equipment is we need to husband the ammunition towards the people who have those, like for instance, 3-inch Charter Arms Bulldogs. Okay?
I love the gun. I kicked myself in the arse years ago. I sold, I had two different charter bulldogs. Now the one I sold to somebody that was near and dear and he needed it for a job, for doing a job. He wanted to carry the .44 so I sold it to him. And the other one was another friend who eventually kept picking at me and, Mark, I really like that pistol. You don't shoot it like you used to and of course we were in there shooting a lot of guns.
So it didn't go to strangers and it didn't get left out and sold somewhere else. It's still those people's personal collections. But it's a nice perfect, in fact a classic Alaskan can't pistol. Three inch barrel. Well they do make the charter bulldog in a four inch. In fact I think they can make a six now.
But originally the three inch barrel in a small frame revolver was a classic standard light duty camp pistol for the Alaskan frontier. I know many guys that came back from Alaska after being out there for quite some time, they'd bring their guns back, they'd want to sell a few, and almost every one of them wanted to sell the old .38 or .357 Magnum, or in some cases, the early Bulldogs.
Not the old old Bulldogs, the charter arms Bulldog 44 special. Side gate, not top break, okay? And it was basically the same gun in every variation all over and over again with the people wanting something. I was more than happy to find people to buy them for them without even putting it in the counter. Because there were people looking for it was a perfect service gun or a perfect carry off duty gun.
But the 44 Special has got a lot more knockdown power, at least a lot more freight train weight going downrange when it hits. Okay? And I'll tell you what, ladies, or anybody out there, even if you're a little older, here's the problem. If I steer somebody towards this, you still have the same problem everybody else has with the ammunition. 44 Smith & Wesson is loaded with a solid lead, rounded projectile,
Standard brass, regular primer, standard load as a cowboy competition round. And they want three times what it costs, well twice what it costs for a box of 44 Magnum. Only because it's a cowboy shooting cartridge. Now it's using a lead projector. The whole thing should be half the price, if not less. In fact, that was one of the big advantages of a smaller, lighter round as far as a slightly lighter charge, not being a Magnum.
in that it should be a little less expensive, but it's not. So while I would recommend the gun, and I think girls, for somebody who has smaller hands, lighter frame, or you want to keep it out of the way, yes, I know automatics are in vogue, but a single round from a point and click gun like a .44 Smith & Wesson Special in a three inch barrel is more than enough to take pretty much most will the beast down. Two legged will the beast go down really well.
And again, it's a point and click solution. And I do, for a personal carry, having a revolver as an option, oh, what do you mean option? Well, you think I carry more than one handgun? You think? I'm serious. You think I might carry more than one? Probably. And remember that it varies depending upon how you need to access a weapon based upon threat.
But revolvers, especially those little bulldogs, are very comfortable to shoot. It's a really well thought out and ergonomically sound design. It doesn't take your wrist and rip the gun out of your hand and fold your wrist backward. It's not a dirty hairy gun. It's a medium load, 44 Smith & Wessel Special.
and it barks like a dog, three inch barrel, little bit of flame, but you know what, that's kind of good too if you're in the situation where you're trying to defend in yourself. So all of the attributes of the 44, three inch barrel bulldog, charter arms, guns, this is positive. They're all useful, okay?
So again, if you inherit one, don't get rid of it. Just start scavenging for ammo. Notice the way I said that. I didn't say just run out and buy it. You might be able to, depending on your area, but most places that is not so. So there's an answer. The 44 Smith & Wesson, no, I did not find a special cache of it. The last big deal that we did have like that for 44 Smith & Wesson was UN ammo, remember, out of Arizona. Now they had a source, and I think it was Magtech.
Now, MAGTECH may be making 44 Smith & Wesson Special on a regular basis. I have not really, I don't have so many hours in the day. I haven't looked to see, but hopefully that gives you a direction where to look. And just off the top of my head, if you're looking for 44 Smith & Wesson, how about JG Sales? Go down and check to see what they do have on the shelf, because they're down there in MAGTECH country.
And it's very likely that they may be carrying it. Now UNAMMO didn't go out of business. UNAMMO became a jobber wholesaler again. Instead of a retail shop, or I should say a retail seller on the internet, because we sold a lot of ammo for them. They didn't advertise with us, but they had really good prices and we zeroed everybody in on them. And we were cleaning the place out, helping to make things move.
Unfortunately, they had a lot of useful things that now you have to scrounge a little around a lot more. For example, 5.56 saw cans, saw plastic side carry cans with ammo in lengths ready to roll. Now there's a bunch of these FN squad guns that are out there and about. There's a few more popping up right now.
That'll be nice to have palette of the ammo cans, you know the ammo boxes that you know attached to the side of the weapon loaded ready to go And everybody who has those guns they do But we could use more. So anyway, we're gonna find out more about you and ammo by the way That is something that was a query that went out last Monday. So we probably won't hear anything until Next Tuesday for the time we're done here. We might even have a message in the mail in the email I just haven't run into it yet. The bugaboos won't be as bad, but I'd still take the bug spray nets, mosquito bars, everything you need. If you're going to garrison, if you're going to be out in the field, I still take the mosquito bars, bug nets, and everything else because this is Michigan, okay? We have the, the mosquito is the national, or forgive me, the state bird.

The place where you said that was. The first place to check is over at CenterFireSystems.com. And these are the, they had these in vegetato, woodland camo, and originally in fleck tarn. Now it looks like they have them in either the vegetato or the fleck tarn. And they're individually listed by size over at CenterFire if they still have them.
And they have been taking stuff off. Once I saw it, it looked mostly to be the fleck tarn, but there was one size at least that had vegetato. So they're dark. For anybody who hasn't seen these, they're a dark rain suit. They're actually the color of the stare. The pattern is there. But they're a much darker shade than, you know, because of the material they're made out of.
So, they will work with whatever you need to. If you're looking for a full-size, larger range suits, they had size large, I know they have smalls, or no, no, correct, I don't think they had smalls. They listed large, and then there was one type, an extra large, and then there was 3X. And again, if you can get the 3X, I would anyway, guys, because remember, you've got coats that everything has to go over.
So if you can get a 3X, the nice thing about that is I have a lot of Air Force, you know, the snorkel parkas. And what I've done with a bunch of these is taken the extra-large, the 3X and even 4X, and put them right on, attach them right to the tired, older Arctic parkas. Some of my parkas are from the 50s. So the covering on the outside is threadbare, tired. They were when I got them.
But you put it and breathe new life into them and since Michigan we get cold wet. I mean we get cold snow, rainy, we don't tacky wet snow. These are perfect for that purpose. So again, if you're looking for rain set, it's pants and jacket. It is a full with hood top. And I don't think that any of these come with the booties or the gloves or the armed sleeves like the Turkish stuff did.
But, it's the, I think it's Mil-Tec, forgive me, I have double checked that again. I ordered some, I put some on the cart. Now, Sportsman's Guide may have them also. They may have some left, so go over to Sportsman's Guide and punch in surplus rain gear or rain suits. You know, military surplus rain suits or surplus rain suits.
There may be some over sportsman's guide compare the price. I believe they're about $19 a piece either way, but they're still that's not a bad price for what they are in the big big sizes. It's hard to find them in anything bigger than usually 1x. So these are they don't have that. I know that the 2x they're sold out of but they 3x was an inventory and it goes into the box because I already ordered some.
Now, which one has any left? I don't know. And I didn't get the order finished from Center Fire, so that, again, you probably get mine. Because I didn't complete that order for that particular batch of stuff. It's still sitting in the box.
So, CenterfireSystems.com, go to the surplus clothing, surplus, they got a whole new little, on the main screen, they actually are saying, hey, check out the new surplus, go ahead and go there, and then go through the reindeer, or do a search specifically for the reindeer and see what pops up. Another thing is, there are a number of ponchos, apparently, I don't know, these are third world surplus solutions.
Well, okay, Nigerian ponchos, I doubt that Nigeria is making ponchos. So either A, they're surplus from the US or they're mil-tech China sport made in, you know, China under contract. But there are some interesting camouflage patterns showing up in the African surplus or in the Southeast Asian surplus.

I'll tell you right now, they're more expensive because what they have restocked in is in the new scale price-wise and with a devaluation of US dollar.
That's why the price of this surplus stuff keeps going up because this is all on the international trade market. And our dollar has taken a major hit. People aren't going to absorb the damage done to our currency. They're going to pass it on. They're going to express it if they're the people that are selling you something. Hey, your dollar's not worth as much. So that's why prices keep going up. Quality of the product isn't improving.
And again, this is all in many cases. This is sir plus this is stuff that's you know hand me down from another country or from the US or wherever and Again, it's whatever's there is there and when it's gone. It's gone. It's the only thing you remember On that note the rain suits real quick are the vinyl there, but they're not the cheapy vinyl. They're actually very well made straight and not as dense as try to nylon, but they are a
Fine, they're a good quality weave. Okay, and again, I've already picked up a number of these. I have the vegetato to go the vegetato uniforms that we picked up. Remember a year ago, well, two years ago now almost for some of them. All the vegetato waves seems to have petered out to shirts. There's only shirts left out there. The web gear is mostly gone, but there are some of the vests out there, the assault vests.
They want, they're charging $20 for the shirt when you were buying the whole uniform pants, shirt, and hat for $10, if you recall. I was trying to get everybody to buy those while they were available. And hopefully you guys listening did, because you really couldn't beat the price for what it was. Let's see, and that was for a complete kit. You got a hat every time you got a set of a pant, every time you got the pants and the shirt, you got a hat. Can't really beat that for $10. You can know where you're going to find that.
So anyway, let's see, we're almost to the top, not quite, and then we're into the weekend. Yay, that means more work. Oh boy. Yeah, as a matter of fact, I got a long shopping list of stuff that just gotta be done and I'll still be wrenching on things tonight. On that note too, don't forget, and I'm gonna do this, if you've got weapons, go over them and make sure you're lubricating everything. Go over your surfaces, especially if you've been carrying or wearing the weapon or equipment.
It doesn't take long in this moisture, this environment, especially we're getting hot and sweaty now, for things to oxidize. And not all the finishes on a lot of your screws or small parts is all that efficient. Even though it might be or have a blue coating on it, they may just breed that coating on and all it takes is a flaw, a thin flaw in moisture, H2O,
Making contact, that oxygen helps to develop, that's right, oxidation. So let's make sure that we don't have that happen. Because once it starts, you're fighting it forever. The idea is prevention first, prevent, and then after that it is damage control. And you don't want to be doing damage control if you can help it. I know in some cases it always happens. A million things to do. But let me remind you, if you're going to be up there at any of the camps, if you're going to be out training this weekend.
All of you team leaders, all you platoon commanders, we need to emphasize weapons maintenance. Take a half an hour, everybody sit down in one place. If you don't have a classroom environment, make one. And everybody, first of all, secure the weapons, unload them, make sure that the chambers are clear. Somebody becomes the facility's range officer, the site range control officer, and inspects each weapon to ensure that the chamber is clear.
After that, then go through and do basic maintenance. I recommend that you guys have a range maintenance kit with petroleum oil and lubricant products, rags, cotton swabs, picks, everything. I keep adding more every weekend. I'm going to find a yard sale. There's two I passed today. Anytime, the first thing I look in the freebie box.
And the other thing I'm looking for is all the tools. And after that, it's anything else extraneous that might be useful, like lights, radios, et cetera. But right now, anybody, if you got toothbrushes that you're using up because you're, oh, that's old, I'm gonna switch out. Don't throw that in the trash. It goes right over into maintenance with the weapons. And the toothpaste is not going to harm. If there's any left on the little toothbrush somehow, any little microspots, won't make any difference. It's an abrasive.
Okay, and again, wear that toothbrush out. That's how it should be. And the toothbrush will wear out before the metal or the finish will. You do everything right. Yeah, I'm sure the Chinese slaves that built them were very ecologically, you know, well, sound in their activities, especially after they were, had their organs rifted from their body and then buried in a mass grave behind the factory.
But anyway, CR123A rechargeable battery kit and got it in hand. Gonna have to take a look at it by Monday. We will give you a little bit of information if I think it's useful.
