Lloyd, who says he didn't know about the water system until we showed it to him, admits it doesn't seem to be an effective deterrent, then suggests this church neighbor turn it off. I would hope they would stop doing this, both for the environmental reasons and for common decency. They probably will now.
KCBS has also learned from a review of city permit records that the system was installed illegally and may violate water use regulations. Well, you know, they'll grease some masons palm and they'll be alright. The Archdiocese issued a new statement Wednesday morning about the story saying the church will address the situation at the Cathedral immediately and will have further comment later in the day.
The statement goes on to say, Catholic organizations in San Francisco serve thousands of homeless people every year providing shelter, food, and critical services. That is the true picture of the compassionate Catholic care. But they're not going to show you what they're doing underneath of the church.
It's just like the Masonic Lodge, they do all kinds of stuff for the community, but it's what they do underneath of the Masonic Lodge, behind closed doors, so what they don't tell people about. Just hang one of them skinless people out front that'll keep them away. Yeah, that'll scare them away. The DEA is seizing cash without warrants in its version of stopping for it. Today, March 20, 2015, was in Forbes by Nick Sabilla. Federal drug agents may be racially profiling and unjustly seizing cash from travelers in the nation's airports, bus stations and train stations. A new report released by the Office of the Inspector General for the U.S. Department of Justice examined the Drug Enforcement Administration's controversial use of cold consent.
In a cold consent encounter, a person is stopped if an agent thinks the person's behavior sets a drug count, a courier profile, or an agent can stop a person cold based on no particular behavior according to the Inspector General Report. So they can just stop you.
If they don't like the way you look, if you're, you know, limping, you know, what the hell does a drug mule act like? You know, is there a certain thing they do, you know? I don't know. Do they walk funny because they got something up there behind it? I don't know, you know. Business must be really slow, huh? Yeah, it's ridiculous. Just stop. Come here for a minute. The agent then asks people,
they have stopped or for consent to question them and sometimes to search their possessions as well by gaining consent law enforcement officers can bypass the need for a warrant so if you're dumb enough to go yeah sure then they're smart enough to fill you up and they will they like that kind of thing
But after reviewing the DEA's policies, the Inspector General concluded cold consent encounters and searches can raise civil rights concerns. In one incident, DEA agents cold stopped an African-American woman at an airport and allegedly subjected her to aggressive and humiliating questioning. The woman was a Pentagon lawyer and traveling on government business. What's one person? Yeah, we got the wrong line. They were very nasty to me about that.
They got the wrong one. And I love it when they do that, because that means they just got a shit pie in their face. And then they stink for weeks after that. A little wonder, researched by the U.S. Department of Justice, found that cold consent encounters are more often associated with racial profiling and contacts based on previously acquired information. Cold consent has even been compared to stop and frisk.
Moreover, agents can seize cash they find during a cold consent encounter. According to data analysis conducted by the Institute for Justice, half of all DEA cash seizures from 2009 to 2013 were under $10,000. Thanks to civil forfeiture laws, law enforcement can take cash and other valuable property based on an officer's often-submitted
objective determination of probable cause even from those who have not been charged with a crime. So that's called piracy, isn't it? You just got mugged by a cop.
As derpingly, the Inspector General found that DEA interdiction task force groups have been seizing cash from travelers and then urging them to sign forms, disclaiming their own cash and waiving their rights. In one cold consent encounter, DEA agents stopped another African-American woman, in part because she was pacing nervously before boarding her flight. After gaining her consent, the agents searched her luggage and found $8,000.
Now let me ask you if you say let's just say this woman's never flown before Wouldn't you be a little bit nervous to you? Well her mistake was giving consent. Yeah That's a lot of people's mistakes. They don't realize that they have the right to say no, you know, they have that Well, I have nothing to hide thing, you know, I went round and around with one of my old Racing buddies online racing Friends and you know, well if you got nothing to hide then what's the problem?
Do we might want to hide your money because they're gonna take it yeah, even if you never did anything there Says here they can take it a drug dog then alerted to the cash Huh? Yeah, they trained dogs to smell money. Yeah, there's nothing the cocaine on the bills man. Did you roll? Flat-out training dogs a small money. Oh, yeah, and the DEA seized it however the Inspector General report did not state
if any drugs were actually found or if the woman was ever charged or convicted of a crime in connection with seizure. And not to mention that most US currency in circulation has been exposed to drugs. Especially if you're at the White House and they're rolling up $100 bills all the time. Yeah. The old winds are whipping up down there and I'm bringing up some well-needed warps to us up here. You guys are going, that's okay, they don't need it. I did get my shipment in today. It came just a little bit before the broadcast started, so I had enough time to do a couple things like put batteries in it and check them out. I did have time to put some coils and some cotton in one atomizer, the alien.
Which is really nice except for the fact that it tastes like machine oil So I gotta get some soapy water in there and wash it out Take it all apart again and take my coils out and take everything out of it again and soak it in some soapy water real quick and Wash it off that ought to do it. Yes pansy. You don't they wd-40. No, thanks
Well, I took a couple drags off of it to see how good it worked and it worked awesome except for that nasty machine oil taste with my juice and was kind of this. And I smelled it before I started doing it so I went and washed it out with screaming hot water. I put some rubber gloves on so the water didn't burn my hands and tried to rinse it out like that. Didn't work. So I'll have to get some soapy water. Just a couple drops of soap in a big bowl of water so I don't lose any of the parts.
And it should be fine after that because there wasn't any Like I couldn't take a paper towel and wipe it around inside and come out with oil on it So I they did you know wash it off before they sent it out But they didn't put it in degreaser or anything like that. So That machine oil taste sticks with them sometimes even when you get them from the vape shop. You got to wash them out
about every atomizer I have. I usually wash them out, rinse them out with water at least first, real hot water to get any residue or metal shavings or anything like that left because some of these factories, man, they just throw the shit in the box and they really don't care. I saw an atomizer kind of like the one I've got but a different company made it, different style of atomizer but it was painted.
and they painted it on the inside too. And that's kind of stupid. You don't want juice and paint mixing on the inside of your atomizer. And then it was a review by a lady named Ruby Ru on YouTube. You can find her over there. She does excellent reviews on juices and equipment. But when she held it up to the camera, you could see on the inside of the barrel, which would be
the outer edge of the sink. I don't have one taken apart so I could demonstrate what the barrel is, but it's just the part that fits down over the deck and then you put your top cap on top of that. It makes the whole atomizer come together. Well, when she was moving it around, you could see on the inside, the paint was chipping off already and there was a big blob of white paint in one spot and room like.
Really they couldn't have China don't have time for quality control man. It slows them down Well this company Oh City vapes that I got this from I'll unscrew the atomizer from it so you can see just the actual Mod itself this one. It's called an OG 50 mini It's a 50 watt device. It runs on 118 650 battery and it will fire atomizers down to point two ohms
And this one is really nice. It's really solid sturdy construction doesn't rattle at all The battery goes in nice the threads on everything are really nice The only thing that I that I don't like about it, which is not a deal breaker But you can see probably on the camera there. There's a little gap there between the atomizer and the actual mod itself and That's as far down as the atomizer will go. I've got the adjustable
510 adjusted all the way down and this is screwed on as far as it'll go without you know wrenching it down there so yeah that some people won't like that but once they get the performance of this thing I've been using it since I got it out of the box and let it warm up to room temperature so probably about three hours now I've been using it. When you say all the way down do you mean all the way up? No. So if you screw it up then it will bring the tip down.
No, if you if you screw the the 510 connection up it'll it'll pull the connection up closer to the edge of the 510 connection if you screw the pin down it pushes it so it screws it deeper into the mod itself and Right now I've got it screwed down in there as far as it'll go and the atomizer screwed on there as far as it'll go And it's probably about a two millimeter gap there, and I'll tell them about it tomorrow
When I talk to my sales rep, I'll let her know, hey, you guys really need to drill that hole a little bit deeper and put that 510 connection in there a little bit deeper on your next run of these mods because people are not going to like the fact that it sits up off the top of there and doesn't sit flush. And they've been listening to me and the lady that I'm talking to, I actually, I flew through my job today as fast as I could.
and got my butt home because I did not want to miss the driver. I've never had a delivery from DHL before so I didn't know what time approximately they would get in. And they got here right after I did. So good thing I took off like I did. But I just went helter-skelter at work today flying around there like a man possessed. And got everything done as quick as I could. Flew home.
and waited for him to get here. While I was waiting, I opened up Skype because the lady that I am buying stuff off of through O-City Times, my sales rep, was still there at work. I got on Skype. I told her I would get on as soon as I got home. I got on and there she was. I actually got to have a video conference with her. We spoke for probably about 20 minutes.
through Skype and it was very interesting because you know the ladies a young gal from China she's you know they had spoke very good English considering the fact that she's in China and I work right here in Indiana I work with Vietnamese people, Laotian people you know from that part of the world and they don't speak English as good as she did so
She said, my English is not very good. I said, no, your English is great compared to other people. There's Americans be here. Don't even speak English as good as she does. Very nice young lady. And she said, you know so much, so much about vape. We like your input. And I said, cool. I'll keep giving it to you then.
So hopefully I can you know keep conversing with this company I will keep conversing with this company and help them along as they help me along too We can you know be be buddies and we're good the other one I got was this one right here is a vapor flask and it's a DNA vapor class flask clone and the only thing they didn't clone was the
the actual chip. They tried to clone it and you can see the readout there on the screen. I moved my finger. It looks just like the DNA 40s that just came out. But it does not have a temperature control on it and so far I haven't been able to get any of the other menu items to work like left side, right side and locking the mod itself works.
But left side right side and stealth mode which means when you push the button you don't see that read out I haven't been able to get any of those to work yet. So but it does if on the older DNA models and The current ones if you hold down the plus and minus button together It'll lock the wattage so that it doesn't move if you bump the button This one does do that, but you can't get any other stuff to work. So
It still works great. 50 watts, two batteries. You see the two gold screws on the bottom. It takes two batteries where this one only takes one. And I like that feature because one battery in a 50 watt mod does not last long at all when you chain vape like I do.
It'll be gone in three or four hours. You'll be changing batteries if you run it at 50 watts This one I've got it set to 25 because I'm running my tank on there I don't have another atomizer built high enough to go on this this one only does 2.3 And I was hoping it would be 0.2, but I put my point two atomizers on there and it said no we ain't gonna do that And I put a point three something atomizer on there, but I think it fluctuates below three
When you're firing it for some reason, I don't know, maybe the screws are a little bit loose, but it would fire it once or twice and then it would say atomizer shorted. Like what? I've been using this atomizer for months. It's shorted. So, still playing with this one. And that one there too, so I'll put them through there, put them through all the phases.
And tomorrow I will build, actually after the broadcast, I'm going to build a coil in a dripper and put it on here and fire it at 50 watts and see how that works. Because so far I'm real happy with both of these. Just a little bit more playing around with them to get to know them and see what they can do. Put enough about the vape. That'll be...
