Before I tell you about the bill, I want to remind you that under Joe Biden in the last one and a half, one and three quarter years, Revocations of federal firearms licensees, FFLs, has been, the revocations have been up over 500% since he took office. He is gigging people for clerical errors, simple errors that before the ATF would coach the FFL saying, hey, this is where you went wrong. Let's fix this. Let's get you doing it the right way and we can march on. Well, now Biden is saying that they're rogue gun dealers because they made a clerical error. How many? errors has he made just in his speeches. He wants to gig everybody else, but he's okay to keep stumbling, rumbling, and bumbling. Here's the bill on the screen, S4812. Again, the title is the Firesale Loophole Closing Act, and it's a quick bill. And what it looks to do is to restrict the ability of a person whose federal firearms license to import, manufacture, or deal in firearms has been revoked, whose application to renew such license has been denied, or whose received the license revocation or renewal denial notice, And this is going to regulate how they can transfer their business inventory. It says, it shall be unlawful for a person who has been notified by the attorney general that the attorney general has made a determination to revoke a license issued to the person under this chapter to import, manufacture, or deal in firearms or to deny any application of the person to renew such license to transfer a business inventory firearm of the person into a personal collection of the person or to an employee of the person. or to an individual described in the section 923 Delta 1 Bravo with respect to the person or receive a firearm that was a business inventory firearm of the person as of the date the person received the notice. Real quick, it sounds like gobbledygook, but if your license was revoked, you didn't get to renew it. didn't want to renew it, you could transfer your business inventory into your own personal collection assuming the FFL was in your own name. You could also transfer it to another employee if you had an issue and you had to deal with the ATF. that's another thing that this doesn't say like if you get if you get uh... of the one of these notices to get you get to appeal it but under this if you get the notice just you have to get rid of all your guns immediately even though you've been in business for x amount of years so paragraph a shall not apply with respect to a license revocation or denial determination that is rescinded So, if it gets rescinded before they make you get rid of your firearms, you're good to go. Two, it shall be unlawful for a person on or after the effective date of the revocation of a license issued to the person under this chapter to import, manufacture, or deal in firearms. Or, in the case of the application of the person to renew such a license is denied, on or after the date the license expires. 2. Engage in conduct prohibited by paragraph 1 or transfer to any other person except the person licensed under this chapter or federal, state, or local law enforcement agency. A firearm that was a business inventory firearm the person as of the effective date or expiration date as the case may be. Shout out apply with respect to a license revocation or denial determined that is rescinded. And what is business inventory as defined here under the United States Code? Business inventory firearm means with respect to a person, a firearm required by law to be recorded in the acquisition and disposition logs of any firearms business of the person. Penalties. Whoever violates Section 922, Alpha, Alpha, shall be fined under this title imprisoned by not more than one year or if the violation was willful, five years or both. So to sum that up again, Booker says in this bill, that if you get one of these notices or you're not able to renew or you get a license or revocation because Biden's revoking them at a record pace, then you got to get rid of all your inventory. You can't transfer it to yourself and you don't want to transfer it to anybody else. They want you to just give them up, get rid of them. They're coming from all different angles. Now this bill, I'm gonna say it's probably not going anywhere would be my guess because this bill has been resubmitted every single session of Congress since 2010. There was a version in the House that was submitted in December by old David Sisselin. You know this guy. So spare me the bullshit about constitutional rights. And to date there's been no movement on that one either. But this one bears watching because Biden has launched an attack on FFLs. And this is a way for him to attack their inventories if he's able to revoke them for simple clerical errors that in all years prior, the ATF would coach the person back into compliance with whatever ever they made and move on. And then they were printed up on college campuses and other places all over the country for people to share. And what do you mean by cash out is hard currency as in silver or gold, ingots, rounds, anything. What typically happens when you get to maturity on futures is they tell you that they can't pay in the gold and the silver, but they'll pay you in cash, in paper currency cash, as in currency. But wait, it's supposed to be futures against actual physical bullion slash real capital has run its course. continues to be pretty much a worthless endeavor, but it's one of those little rabbit wheel things, hamster wheel things, that they got a bunch of people on. However, people have been pulling away for that more and more because, well, guess what? In order for them to entice people to take the Federal Reserve notes, they had to start offering more money than the silver and gold were worth.
