We've seen numerous cases sent back to lower courts. They were granted the certiorari. They were vacated the previous rulings and remanded back to lower courts because among other things Clarence Thomas said that the two-step process, the two-step approach is unconstitutional. It goes one step too far. Well, a federal judge just violated that ruling by ruling against the Second Amendment using the two-step approach. You can't make this up. U.S. District Court Judge John Tundheim in Minnesota Just made that that that snafu that oops, but uh, let me tell you about the case So this is in Minnesota two gentlemen purchased tickets to go to the Minnesota State Fair They ended up not being able to go because the fairgrounds which is run by the state agriculture society They banned firearms from the fair So these two gentlemen feeling that their rights were violated because they're neither state or federally prohibited from carrying firearms. They've believed and rightfully so that their second amendment was violated because they couldn't go into this fair and keep their ability to protect themselves on state grounds, state property. So they joined forces with the Minnesota Gun Owners Organization and they filed suit against the Agriculture Society. And in the court case, the judge said that the The Agriculture Society has the right to ban firearms because the fairgrounds is crowded. That is a means to an end scrutiny, the kind of meaning the ends justify the means. They have to ban the guns. There's a lot of people there. We'll keep people safe. But it absolutely violates the Supreme Court decision and says you can't do that anymore. Want to throw this out there. It's the first of its kind by a federal district court judge now. I'm hoping that Minnesota gun owners Appeal this case because this sounds like a fast-track to another ass whooping in the United States Supreme Court is it's nothing like Making a decision and think of it as a parent you you you make you set a rule And your kid immediately violates that rule. It happens all the time because they're kids, right? How does it make you feel? Well, I'm sure Justice Thomas right now is not feeling too happy. And I'd love to see it get to him so that he can address this district court judge. Let me know what you guys think down below. You've seen the Ninth Circuit do it with their assault weapon ban and their magazine ban cases, which were sent back by the Supreme Court saying, you can't do that because you use a two-step process, two-step approach. Well, Minnesota just said, I'm going to one-up you and do that two-step approach anyway or allow it. And the information, and you may have heard it too, were they're saying that by October, the grocery stores are basically going to be empty or almost empty. Couple this with the fact that, and I don't know who posted this, in the libertarian party, they came out and just made a blanket post a couple days ago, said, buy ammo now. I'm wondering if the person who posted this has additional information about the grocery stores running out because this definitely would be something that would make the population at large chimp out and go nuts. Have you heard similar things like this about the grocery stores being multiplied by October? We're already seeing it. In fact, here's what's interesting is, and this is at every store we've gone to, we normally buy at. The lagoon category is not bad. That's the beans But it's very narrow and very limited. Okay, but I'm talking even in canned goods. However, any of the wheat products are gone Right now there's probably space on a store that's just to myself that it's a third of the aisle and there's enough space for 50 or 60, oh, probably more than that, specific items like bags of, one pound, two pound, three pound, whatever. Well, guess what? There's only seven items, seven separate items that have an inventory, which looks to be only one case of stock. In other words, a case of spaghetti, a case of high-end expensive noodles, a case of. It's not like I said, when I worked at a grocery store, The idea of a store being stocked is from the front of the shelf to the back of the shelf and it should be stacked as high as the shelf can hold. Today you have what's called a shallow front. But here's what's interesting, the distress doors. Now, distress doors run in cycles, but two months ago, we could go to the distress doors like Ollie's or any of the others, even a big lot used to be, but it's not as much. And you would have at least some of the weird or odd end like Annie or any of the no-name brand noodles, elbow macaroni, any kind of spaghetti. And you can buy it there by the case. We did. I've been buying every time I see it. It's cheap, cheap, cheap. We buy cases. We don't buy a box. Well, we went over there yesterday to Ollie's, for instance, and there were no pasta products on the shelf. None. Now, there were other good things that were useful because we're into the canning cycle. This is when the canneries, all the excess comes out. So I've told everybody about this before. We're into the beginning of the harvest. Now is when you buy the odd can the overruns on canned goods We have a couple of dollar trees down here They're on the edge of Ohio and some in Ohio and this is a window Not all of Dollar Tree does this but these particular dollar trees in this district actually get a lot of the big can overruns. So instead of getting a regular size can or the downsize can because of the devaluation that's taking place, usually it's some of the bigger bulk cans. It'll be name brands. You've never heard of, but they're all 100% American and they're typically from Ohio or Michigan. What few canneries are left in Michigan and there aren't that many in there, you know, Michigan or Ohio. So that is the only place where you're going to make up for the loss of volume in other areas. Now wheat production, here's two problems that wheat production everybody seems to forget. China has first bid on most of our food people. The caller how many times have we talked about year after year? The fact that the Chinese have bought most of the wheat crops and most of the bean crops They're already they're already signed off before they ever came out of the field I'm in white bean. I'm in white bean, Michigan What do I mean by that? The Navy beans are an old government contract and they were called used to be called Michigan Navy Beans. Go look that up. We should go to... I was just going to say in addition to owning the wheat and owning the chicken plants, what they do is when they harvest the wheat and when they kill the chickens, they put the chickens, they put them in a freezer vat, ship them over to China to be processed, and then when they're processed and packed, they ship it back over to the United States. Same with the wheat. Yeah, well they don't ship... Yeah, I don't ship the food with I think what's happening just like what happened in communist Russia and the Ukraine when the Jewish communists had both of those countries. What they did is they stole everything they could and sold it out of the country exactly what the communists, the kosher communists are doing here. We're not getting back the chicken we sent over there. I guarantee it. Whatever we're getting back is grade B. Right. You want everybody to think about that. Remember, how are you going to know? How are you gonna know? Why did we send food to be processed halfway across the planet? That makes no logistical... Oh, wait a minute. Let me add another one to that. Why would we waste all of that fuel, oh my god, and all of that time, oh my god, when we could process it right in the backyard where the stuff is because, well, we're gonna eat it anyway? They shipped it all the way over to the other side of the world at what expense? And then supposedly you're supposed to believe that you're getting what you sent, whatever chicken slurry that comes back this way, or if it is even chicken, or pork, or beef. See, that's the problem with this. So here's the thing. In the past, I used to be able to go and buy 2,000 pounds of white beans from the mills in the Bay Area up around Saginaw Bay, north of Flint. and Saginaw and you know that area. Guess what? Anytime you go to the mills right now they will tell you they can't sell you a pound. Why? Because it's already designated to go overseas with the Chinese. And Mark? Now that's right here in Michigan in the center of white bean country and we can't buy. Now if we have a farmer and remember we used we have several farmers that do this they produce Michigan Navy beans and they produce it for the Patriot Movement. So we have 200, 300 acres here, we have 1,000 acres there. There are acreage, they will sell to us first. In fact, they sell only to us. So we're not out completely, but this is what more people have to do. You've got farmers who don't like what's going on. Let me recommend something, and I know everybody's talked about it for years. Get a flour mill. If you have a family, one of the many tools you need in the toolbox, you can use a blender. Guys, there's so many ways you can process wheat. Here's another trick. If you're going to yard sales, I try to pick up extra ones. Okay, blenders. Blenders can be used as phase one processors over and over again, and when they break, who cares if you got them for $2 apiece. And they don't need to be real pretty, because they're going to be doing coarse stock. But what you need are grinding tools. Well, how many different tools are out there that are electric that are grinding tools? Well, food processors are a good one. Then again, we use it till it wears out. Who cares? I got five others on the shelf, although I try not to wear it out right away, so I should take care of it. But a wheat mill is a priority investment, just like anything else, for doing griss. of whatever kind, could be corn, could be your, because you're gonna be using more corn and less of the other higher grains because you won't be able to get them. Not simply because of what's going on with the big operations, but guys, you know what it takes to actually do wheat production on another, I don't know, like in a general smaller scale? No matter what, wheat is going to become a high pecking order, much more expensive product. Corn, which is why you always corn bread, cornmeal, corn mush, why was that more common? Because it was more reliable a crop, easier to produce and very easy to process. It's a bulky grain. It's faster to process. Wheat requires a much more labor intense process to create the refined product. Nobody can wrap their brain around this but this is why again corn, corn meal, get used to and start using corn meal. You better get used to the taste or you better experiment with what you can do with it. Now by the way with Mexican cuisine you have two base products. What are the two base products that are used for the critical components that everything basically gets wrapped in? Wheat tortillas. or corn tortillas. Why are there both? Certainly it's a flavor change, but that's not really what it's about. Traditionally, a wheat flour was a premium flour. Corn flour in whatever grit, grist, or cut was always the lesser, the difference between a Pontiac and a Cadillac. Everybody understand that? The governor has teamed up with Michael Bloomberg, specifically his Everytown for Gun Safety organization, in which they're going to start training cops to violate your rights by using the red flag laws. As you know, right after the Buffalo incident, the governor, Kathy Hochul, sent down, well demanded the legislature push a more difficult, a more stringent red flag law, which they did. And in the three months since, the amount of red flags filed in the state of New York already exceed the one year, the 12 months prior to her signing and pushing this new version. Also of note is that the New York State Police, they have increased their amount of red flag requests by 93% and they've been successful on at least 91% of those. Those aren't good numbers if you're a law abiding person. If you don't know what the red flag law is, the Extreme Risk Protection Order law, I've done a ton of videos on it. Now radishes, we've never really tried doing those through the winter, but I will remind you that if you have ground you can till, and you grab a couple bales of straw, what you do is you create a carrot patch. Chillin area, oh four, five feet wide and do it however long you're willing to work. Go to the big box stores, all of them, Lowe's, you know, home despot, whatever you got, Maynard's. Right now, packs of seeds are nickel to 11 cents a pack. They're marking them down even farther right now. Plus they get 11% off at Maynard's. So it's even cheaper and grab all the carrot packs, grab all the radish packs. Make one, one, one, one patch for carrot, the other one make for radishes, get them in the ground and sew them, just sew them thick, not super thick, we don't need carpet. But spread them out, common sense, but individually sew those anyway, you run them in a bead when you do run lines of carrots, but we're not gonna do that. You wanna do a, kinda like a girthy row. Let it go, you're done. Once you get them on, you know, rake it, get them under the ground a little bit or throw some additional topsoil on top of them, buy a couple bags of whatever, just cast it out on top. The, uh, wet it down good. Carrots and root vegetables love moisture. And beyond that, you may have to get it a little wet on occasion, but you will produce to before the end of the season right now, a certain amount of carrots and certainly the radishes. Now here's the thing. You don't have to pluck the carrots out of the ground. Grab a couple bales of straw Mark off with steaks your little carrot patch. Then you might try this with your radishes do whatever you don't harvest But whatever you do want to harvest you can dry remember you can always slice and dry got food dryers But this is fresh food you can have through the winter Radishes can be pulled you leave everything on them and you hang them up in the root cellar Those will be good for a period of time all by themselves leave the dirt on them. Don't wash them. Don't do anything. Just pluck them but pluck them whole. Go do a little research on real traditional root cellars. Now the root vegetables are bulk. It's like anything else when you're looking at food, it's filling the void. That's half the battle. The difference is, you know, normally in the past people would have certain foodstuffs and not have others. And unfortunately this would create vitamin deficiencies in one category or another. Well, we don't have to fight that. Instead, you make a point of putting vitamin supplements on the shelf to compensate for the difference. That is still available and whatever price range you're willing to spend or whatever quality you perceive it to be, that's what you spend the money on. Again bulk I will remind everybody again whatever rice is out there We just ran into jasmine rice at Ollie's and Larry if you haven't Ollie's I don't know how far south they go but there are some in Indiana Ollie's is always under the coast mark Repeat They go all the way down here to the coast. But go to your yard sales, go to your distress or your resale shops and buy additional food processors, cheapest ones that they have on the shelf. They don't look pretty as a matter of fact. And in addition to that, also blenders. Both of those can be pressed into service for grain processing. And remember, corn meal, corn, corn flour, the Mexican cuisine, the basic foundations are either a what? Wheat tortillas or corn tortillas. Guess what? They opted for both. Why? Corn, on the other hand, is going to be more plentiful, easier to produce, and yeah, even if you had to husband it by actually managing the water drip on individual plants, you can still continue to grow corn, but you're gonna have to pay attention, and your crops are gonna become much more important, be they personal crops or larger production.
