I remember a teacher that I had. Now I only, I went through the seventh grade. I went through the seventh grade. I left home when I was 10 years old because I was hungry. I used to do this. It's true. I work in the summer and I go to school in the winter. But I had this one teacher. He was the principal of the Harrison School in Winstan, Indiana. To me, this was the greatest teacher, a real sage of my time anyhow. He had such wisdom. And we were all reciting the Pledge of Allegiance one day. And he walked over, this little old teacher, Mr. Laswell, what's his name? Mr. Laswell, he says, I've been listening to you boys and girls recite the Pledge of Allegiance all semester. And it seems as though it's becoming monotonous to you. If I may, may I recite it and try to explain to you the meaning of each word. I, me, an individual, a committee of one, pledge, dedicate all of my worldly goods to give without self-pity, allegiance, my love and my devotion, to the flag, our standard, O glory, a symbol of freedom. Wherever she waves, there's respect. Because your loyalty has given her a dignity that shouts freedom is everybody's job. United. That means that we have all come together. States. Individual communities that have united into 48 great states. 48 individual communities with pride and dignity and purpose. All divided with imaginary boundaries yet united to a common purpose. And that's love for country. and to the Republic, Republic, a state in which sovereign power is invested in representative chosen by the people to govern. And government is the people. And it's from the people to the leaders, not from the leaders to the people for which it stands. One nation, one nation, meaning so blessed by God, indivisible, incapable of being divided. With liberty, which is freedom, the right of power to live one's own life without threats, fear, or some sort of retaliation. And justice, the principle or qualities of dealing fairly with others. For all. Which means, boys and girls, it's as much your country as it is mine. And now, boys and girls, let me hear you recite. the Pledge of Allegiance. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation indivisible with liberty and justice for all. Since I was a small boy, two states have been added to our country and two words have been added to the Pledge of Allegiance under God. Wouldn't it be a pity? If someone said that is a prayer and that would be eliminated from schools too. I had a dream the other night that, well I didn't understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three cornered hat and speaking low to me he said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrant flavored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost. You're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent, although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number and you've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm. and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children will be brought. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for what you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? Oh, sons of the Republic, arise. Take a stand. Defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land. Preserve our great Republic and eat God-given right. And pray to God, keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he'd vanished in the mist from whence he came. His words were true. We are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now, as tyrants trampled, each God-given right, we only watch and tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Is this... I haven't heard a good muscle car at night in years, if not a decade, Scott, I'm thinking back. Used to be, you know, you go out after dark, out in the middle of nowhere, nice county road, and you drove the car. And it sounded like you were really driving something. Country's dead. Caudas abounds. Anyway, good evening, ladies and gentlemen. This is the evening intelligence report I'm our currently one day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters both on and behind the lines and occupied territories southwest, north, northeast, and south. Ladies and gentlemen you are listening to us on LibertyTreeRadio.4mg.com Liberty Tree Radio on satellite and we are on a myriad of rebroadcasting operations both inside and outside the United States. Congratulations. It is Communications Tuesday. It is the 26th of October. It is the 13th year of open Fabian socialist and Soviet socialist occupation of America with a K. 2021 older calendar, 2021 battle for the republic and sub-swords. And the conversation that we had about the subject, forgive me, subject that I brought up about the Kenwood handhelds. I would say that pretty much all of the lower end Kenwoods are produced overseas. I don't know that there's, you know, somebody asked me in the hour in between, is there any American made Kenwoods that are left out there? And I don't know. As far as the small stuff. Now the big stuff, yeah, there's a few units that they're still, I think, producing here. I would point out that, as is always the case, the components are made overseas. We have made microprocessors over here that anybody is going to be allowed to have or that are affordable for quite some time. But there are a lot of really interesting pieces of equipment. And of course, the older Kenwood multi-frequency transceivers are a premium still for a lot of people. It's one of those things people will meet up at the truck stop. You know, the guy may have two or three of them brand new in the box. Older inventory but brand new in the box. And those things have traded hands and are like currency for a lot of people. So one of the things I can't emphasize enough, it is Communications Tuesday, is you need as many different non-second, you know, forgive me, third party radio technologies in place as you can. This last weekend I think I got a total of nine radios, a handful of them were FRS, I'd say what five. They were a dollar a piece. Then a couple of VHF Yaesus. I don't know if they work or not, I don't care. I'm very familiar with the model. These were available back in the 80s or They look like they should be small, but the Yaesu was one of the first companies to go with a micro compact conventional circuitry system. The problem is doing any kind of maintenance on them because the boards are jammed. Now the advantage, I will say this, is that those older Yaesus are great in cold weather, terrible in hot weather. Why? Well, the components don't have a whole lot of room to breathe, okay? But in cold weather that is a big advantage because they help to warm, you know, components warm other components up. Now in the hot weather, you have no place to shed those calories and you have component issues over the long haul. So the reason I like the unit is A, it was one of the first that was I think, what was it, 23, you know, 27 watts off hand. Grocery overpowered. The biggest problem is that sometimes their finals would burn out for the very reasons I mentioned. So there's a couple of tricks that we learned as far as what size components you use. And there's no place to go inside. There's no room. Okay, you can't open anything up to make breathing space. But they are a good little unit otherwise. Strong, very strong. When they work, they work great. So what you do is you prioritize them for certain conditions. Right now wouldn't be a bad time to run them and tonight is better than during the day the other Consideration with radios. We haven't really talked about on that Oh, what was the other couple? Well, let's see. The last one was a CB handheld. It's an orphan. There weren't two just one But it's a full 40 channel with upper and lower sideband. I'd say it was made about 1989 right around there and a nice little unit, very well built. In fact, it's a GE, but it's a well built GE. It's one of the upper end models and looks good. Anyway, real quick, another thing we haven't talked about is what we have to a degree with electronic signature, okay? We minimize radio broadcasting. However, the other thing is thermal signature. All your radios, even your cell phone. You know what? If you've got a, do you have a a piece of thermal technology, I want to take your cell phone. Have one of your buddies take the cell phone out there into the back field or over into the orchard, walk around with it stuck to the side of your head. Now, let's think about this for a minute. Okay, it's really hot. And if I see something like that, I put a three round burst at night into an area where I see that really hot rectangular target at about the five to six foot mark. You think I'm probably going to hit a brain pan? You know, maybe I'm going to hit a head. I mean, if I see the box and I'm smart, I'll drop low and I'm going to hit something. So this is another thing about cell phones is not only are they a radio tracker, but they are a hot thermal target. And you may have already noticed this when you hold it to your head when you're using it, that it seems like I'm getting a little warm. Now, part of that is, of course, being irradiated by the transceiver, which we've warned you about many times anyway. But especially with 800 meg not healthy for you at all. Okay, not at all. Okay, really bad. But anyway, the big thing with the 800 meg is or any of the units, I don't care what it is, is that they do have calorie buildup. We've talked about this forever. Heat, hills, electronics. You have to have a certain amount of heat. And this is where the engineer comes in that usually designs a radio board. Guys, they will interwork that so that hot spots are built up where they can be useful, but you still need circulation. You need air. Okay, so this is where on the one hand tiny, tiny, tiny is really interesting. And I guess if you're a big government, you could afford to when my burns out, you just give me another one. When it burns out, you give me another one. When it burns out, you give me yet another one. And when it burns out, you give me yet another one. If you're government, you don't care. After all, they're putting a gun to your head and demanding more money, so they don't have a problem. But the biggest issue is, again, reliability in the field, because if you are looking at the long haul, then we need equipment that A is going to be a little more survivable, and B is workable. Or, you know, in other words, reliable first, but then if anything does happen, can we fix it? Now this is another reason I know everybody who hold the latest radio. They're so tiny and they're so small. Can you fix them? Well, no, they are just chuck it out in and get what? Well, I get another what where would you get it from? But that is that okay. On the other hand, amazingly enough, there are still a significant amount of solid state components available through almost all the different pieces of equipment, for instance, on vehicles. And a lot of other solid state laying around so that if you have a particular system, the two things that you want to watch, that you probably want to build spare parts of for guys that have shortwave sets to do this with their personal best rigs, is they have, for instance, if they have tubes, they buy spare tubes. They buy spare critical components, and they actually have them on the shelf ready to roll. So if something happens where they're questioning why they're not getting the signal out, They'll do a test system test, decide that I've got a malfunction or I've got a reduction in performance here, and they plug and play. Unplug, re-plug, and try it again. There we go. Singles back up, and I'll mark that tube that I pulled out for less performance. You don't throw the tubes away that you take out, okay? Now with solid state, the big thing here again is there are certain components. Transistors, transistors, transistors. There aren't as many transistors and equipment as there used to be. Transistors were the big, catch-me-out, that was big, important, critical, oh my god, it's got 14 transistors! He has 16 transistors. Oh, that one has 27. The problem is that in many cases, these transistors were very narrow and specific to production. And if they're the larger coin size, which, you know, you'll see this with mixing boards, we've had this experience for many years. but also with other pieces of radio equipment or sound and audio equipment. The larger coin size, about a half dollar size, a little less, a little half, between a quarter and a half dollar, okay? But they're thick, about, I'd say, a quarter of an inch. Anyway, those particular units can cost as little as 20, 30 dollars to as much as hundreds of dollars, making them the thing that creates obsolescence for electronics because people don't want to spend whole lot of money on a single component to fix something. The good thing is with for instance mixing boards is you don't really worry about it because if you have 20 pots on a mixing board you know the old systems what you did is you just marked it don't use that one it's not acting right and you'd use the other 19 different stations you had on your mixing board. Eventually though you do run out of mixing board stations to operate with and that's why you want to typically change out your Micking board, okay? But there are other things that can kill the system and there are redundant problems that seem to exist with certain designs and you just expect it, okay? You know what to watch for. Again, with a lot of these units, the basic most critical components are the ones that you want to, or should be the primary critical components, the ones you want to put on the shelf. The rest, although you can collect them, are typically stuff you can either scavenge or you may already have in your electronics tray or boxes if you have a little workbench. Disk capacitors, diodes, resistors, all of those we can find a comparable value resistor for, for instance, or something that will meet the spec for the circuit board. So that you can cannibalize all things. You can take, you know, Rob from, let's say, Rob from Peter to Pay Paul, you can take an hangar queen, or a shipwreck, you know, a piece of equipment and care parts off it. This is another reason I pick up all these handheld radios. I don't care what I see. I got a couple a week ago, the antennas were torn off them, okay, they were broken off them. Well, I didn't pick them up necessarily because they're whole radios. It's because they're standard little ball pangs that all the other parts and pieces would match over to the other unit. Now, obviously, somebody gave these radios to a kid or some kids and they goofadoofed with them until they busted them up. They might work, but I'm not going to power them up without the antenna working. Remember what I've told you about operating radio equipment. The first thing you do, after you open up the box and you find the instruction manual, read the instruction manual. It's really a good idea. Now, you can ignore the Taiwanese, Arabic, let's see, Cantonese, Let's see, German, French, Mexican, Portuguese, and Malachian. But there is an English component somewhere. It probably lasts because you know how it is in the bastards nowadays. But read the manual. Now, once you've done that, what's the first rule Uncle Marcus taught everybody about radio? You get it out of the box, you unwrap everything, and you're going to plug everything in. You plug in the antenna first. plug in the antenna first. Remember plug in the antenna first. No, not the power. Don't put batteries in it. Don't do anything else until the antenna is hooked up and let's make sure the antenna is not rounded out. Let's make sure the antenna is sitting upright. It's hooked up to something and it's got airspace around it. But book the antenna up first. If you've got a big base antenna, then you don't have to worry about sitting it upright. What you do is make sure it's plugged into the back of that radio first. Then you can do all the other stuff. Why? Well, because here's the thing. A little bobby's sitting here and you're putting all the stuff together and you decided to power it up and, oh look, I'm gonna play radio. Hey, what happened to the speaker just went click. Wait a minute, I'm not getting it. Oh man, yeah, you see, there's a number of things that happen. I mentioned finals. You can easily blow the finals out, which means you got a brand new piece of equipment and now you got to spend money fixing it. So we don't want to do that. Okay? Book the antenna up first and follow the instructions. Make sure the antenna is safe and secure. Check the, here is one more thing, but if it's brand new, you don't worry about too much is do a quick run through with your fingers. If you have coax, that is in the box that goes along with the unit to hook up, you know, from the back of the radio to the antenna. Take and run your finger along that. I mean, that's paranoid, but it's not. All it takes is a piece of wire, something stuck, something clicked or cut, and that can create another problem, almost as if you do not have an antenna hooked up to your radio at all. So let's avoid that also. Okay, so do a physical inspection of your equipment. And by the way, if it's coming from China, who the hell are we? Well, we don't really count on them to do anything right, do you? We're hoping, I mean, we really are. We are hoping, but we can't count on everything being done, right? So we always inspect the technology. Always, always, always. Okay. Otherwise, there's a lot of cool stuff out there. The handpests, I don't know what's going on with them. I haven't really bothered to look, I haven't had time. And again, only because if catch is catch can, if they're paranoid in one area, humans and still humans and thinking in another, the paranoid, the neurotic hypochondriacs, the paranoid tendencies, or even in the radio circles, and maybe more so in some cases, depending on where you are. And so, again, why bother? The big thing here again is, remember you've got a lot of companies out there. I always mentioned Fair Radio. Fair Radio has actually been one of the most decent companies to deal with in signal communications that I've dealt with for what, decades. I've known them for a long time. I know when they were at the old building, a lot more jammed up and crammed. They built their own structure and of course they have a number of surplus items always in stocks. If you've got any old military radios like the PRCs, handheld, walkie-talkie, military Korean on, handhelds, although they have World War II stuff up the yin-yang. Another thing there real quick is we've talked about field telephones and their radio has a switchboard. They have a couple of them. I think they still have some of the Canadian ones. But the neat thing about this, if you want to have your own petticoat junction slash switchboard operator, you can do that. In the military, you had them too. And it's not hard. Actually, it's pretty straightforward, but you can set up an entire telephone, ground wire grid and work it yourself in a little community. If you've got like a little area with a neighborhood or whatever, you can have your own phones completely separate from everything else out there. I would point out right now, once again, for $89, they have those Swiss field phones. And these things look like they're, number one, they're Cadillacs. They're upper end Porsches of the field telephone world. But these are a fixture type unit that would really be phenomenal to go from, say, the house to the barn, and then from the house to the other building or an outbuilding or machine shop or whatever. And it's totally separate from everything. You can wire it, run the line underground, and no one could cut it, no one could stop it, and no one could know that you're talking to somebody else that something's going, hey, something's going on down the road. Bob just called. And nobody knows that the message has been sent out, the alert is in place, everybody's gummed up, and we're getting ready to go to war. So it's kind of handy. But that is over at SportsmansGuide.com SportsmansGuide.com www.sportsmansguide.com and they have the Swiss field phones. Now the one they have right now looks like it's a point-to-point, not a multi-station. But it could be wrong. However, it's a good price for what it is. These things are like an old commercial telephone is what it looks like. newer than say something from the 40s. I believe these are from the 60s or 70s which really wouldn't bother me either way because if it's Swiss it works. It's that simple. It works. So you might want to check them out, see if that's a solution for you. But for a field telephone, good choice. A couple of the things here. Oh, and number one, FAIR. Somebody just asked FAIR. FAIR, FAIRradio.com. fairradio.com. F-A-I-R, fair as in fair price, fairradio.com. And there's a certain amount of stuff they have posted. I would remind you that they don't list everything on their page. If you have something you're looking for or you have something that's broken and you want to fix it, you want to repair it, you send them an email with a picture and they'll go look to see what they have on the shelf. They'll go hunt through the warehouse to see what they have because they know what they have. But they got to see it. They've got to know what the model number is. Everything you can give them away information. They will do their darnedest to sell you a product that works. They really, really, really want a customer. Okay? So they're good in that respect. But you need to provide them with the right information in order for them to do right by you. Okay? Do we have a caller? We don't want to leave anybody out? And we're almost to the bottom of the hour. And by the way, it is still outside. I mean, it has gone, but there was a wind most all the day. Of course, we have that pre sunset calm that takes place. And right now it is still. That's why I said, you know, you listen, you can hear that. Well, actually what I heard way out the distance, it wasn't a four wheel Mopar or a Mustang or anything, even a newer one would be something. Instead, it was a rice burner, probably like Kawasaki is what it sounded like. They just had that wine. But anyway, yeah, he was feeling. And there's a stretch here with some really baby flat brand new road. I believe I'm sure he's matching it out. Every once in a while you got to blow the carbon out of them, their engine. So anyway, perfect night. Also, we are headed towards the bottom of the hour break. And so I'll tell you what, it's long but I like this song anyway. And if you could, Privateering by Mark Offler. Privateering. It's actually the title track for the album also guys. So if you're looking for it, Privateering. You'll recognize the voice of the author. of the musician. And again, while the original band is, you know, well, they're gone, they just, you know, every once in a while they break up, go somewhere else. It's kind of like Genesis. You know, the band breaks up, then they all come back together for a, you know, a reconstitution, and they make money and it were fished. Well, I don't think they all can. Did they lose any band members? Genesis. Somebody's going, I don't know. Anyway, in this case, privateering. And again, kind of a neat driving song. Of course, also it'd be nice if you had a little frigate and or a cutter or a, again, a SARC of some kind, gunned and ready to go. I'm giving Ed time because again, you probably can find it privateering, but we will go. Also, you are listening to, I'll do this, it's probably our hour, I can do this, www.libertytreeradio.4mg.com. That's www.libertytreeradio.4mg.com and our affiliates across the United States. I'm going to do that more often. Also, if you'd like to make a music request, you can send us a music request at libertyatprovide.net. Libertyatprovide.net. When you send the request, do it in capitals. Music request, like you're shouting. I don't think you're shouting, it's just easier to read because the letters are bigger. But if you could, music request, and then if you can, a link. In other words, you can give the title and the author, obviously, and if you can, the album that the music's on, that helps a lot. And also, again, a YouTube link is fine or whatever you want to bit shoot, whatever. But we can hook up to it that way and Ed can track it down and then we can put it up on the air once we get a chance to segue it into the programming. And again, one of the interesting things, there are even – well, of course you already know they've been doing this, but there's been a whole flurry of other polls off of Farsbook and also YouTube. with regard to more music again. And nobody knows what the agenda, obviously it can be copywriting, but that's not what they're addressing. It looks more like again, they're trying to keep, they're hoping to make you all as limp noodle and weenie boy as possible. They don't want you getting too excitable and, you know, manly out there. So good idea to collect your music and make sure you got hard copy. I put everything on CD that I can. I also make a point, this communication is Tuesday, of collecting all the CDs, DVDs, whatever I can find, especially somebody's got a bunch of stuff up by the road and there's a whole collection. Well, hell, if I had to go rent that garbage from Netflix or any of the others and they don't do Netflix because that's Obama piss on them, both Barry Satoro and Michael, The fact is that guys, randomly they try to rent the stuff back to you. First it's free and then they jiggle the numbers and all of a sudden a program you've been watching for free costs you money. Well, if you have it on the DVD, that's not a problem. And you really should have a collection anyway because if they do hit the switch, you're going to make Movie Night a special once a week thing like it used to be rather than every hour of every day you've got a movie. You know that that was not the case. It used to be, well remember first of all let's think about this one, TV oriented people were out there the way they originally conditioned us. You had basic programming during the week, obviously the news, and that was it. And the big deal was on Friday night they might have a movie or Saturday night and of course Sunday night were special epic features if it was a Sunday night movie and they might not have a Saturday night movie. So again, kind of like going to the matinee, all during the week you're working and on the matinee for giving me the theater, where at the end of the week you actually do something special. You go to the movie theater and you watch a movie. Well guys, you better be sculpting your inventory so that you can do that in the future because with everybody in the 21st century getting screwed the way they are and eventually them deciding that you peasants don't deserve all of these goodies that you've had because they were the enticements to convince you to surrender your freedom. It would be kind of nice during the war to be able to plug something in and everybody would sit back, relax, and enjoy themselves a little bit. And as I've said before, for one of the reasons I'm doing this, I just got five of these CAR DVD players. They're like, basically it's a laptop. What I get them for, our medical personnel, not medical personnel, but for our medical convalescence element. Decks of cards, I just got a box of cards for free. In fact, I explained what I'm doing with them. I said, oh, you can have all. They were casino cards. They came from one of the casinos. They got them for free. Those go into the box with the games and entertainment technology. But I also have little pods with a couple of these players because they usually come in sets to be strapped to the back of the seat of the, you know, like for the back seat of the car. and the come of the power supplies and everything, 12 volt. And what's cool is you put a clutch of DVDs with them and at least you can keep somebody entertained for a while. If they're laying on their back because they've got their leg messed up, their knee was just put back together, they're not bouncing around anywhere. Pencils, paper, envelopes. drawing technology of whatever kind depending on what you feel is you know shelf stable. I just picked up a ton of colored pencils and some crayons but markers would be cool and I do have a few but markers are going to die on the shelf whereas the colored pencils will still be around for a bit so somebody's getting a little creative and arty then they have that on the shelf but electronically what I do and this is in fact I was really lucky I've run into this a couple times watch either at Dollar Tree or Dollar General or Meyers or any of the other big chain stores for those bins where they have the, well they used to have them for $2. You'll notice they don't cost $2 for DVDs anymore. Except for around $4, $5, $6, $7, $10. Peace again. Watch for the cheaper ones, but here's what's really cool. In every one of those, there's usually a, you get eight movies, eight movies. Well, that's what you want. I don't care whether or not it's an A movie or a B movie. It doesn't make any difference. Eight different movies in one package or 20. Like one of the other things I got was a little library collection. There are 50 different movies per volume. Each volume is about an inch thick in storage space. They put them in the individual paper sleeve so they take up a minimal amount of space. But the neat thing is you take three, four, five of those different collections and a couple of the players and that's enough to keep somebody entertained for a little bit. No, you don't let them play everyone one after another after another. You're going to have to share anyway. But it's the idea that every once in a while break up the monotony, one or two or three or four people or more can actually sit down or they're laying down anyway if they're convalescing and watch something to distract them, to eat up the time stuck in bed, not going anywhere. Somebody's going to come around with a bed pan. Yeah, that's really exciting. But the idea is to compensate for that situation so the individual isn't staring at the ceiling for, you know, two, three, four, five weeks or months at a time. Prior to proper planning prevents PISP or performance. And also for R&D, you know, for recreation and R&R, rest and recuperation, not research and development. R&D? Yeah, well, kind of. Anyway, for R&R, that's another reason for setting these packages up, okay? Because we're going to support the troops. We've got a lot of people that are going to be out there. They're going to be tired. They're going to need to just lay back. A lot of them will just sleep. Trust me on that one. I've seen that. But when they are up, the idea is not to be ramming around, but rather instead, sit back, relax, and let the body heal. It's what again, games, you know, game boards, game sets, cards, switch blades, you know, whatever you... Well, Mumbly Peg, you know, it's like it's a game, it's a dangerous game. No, not too dangerous. Not if you know what you're doing. Anyway, Mumbly Peg can be quite entertaining to watch. Just not good to participate in. Okay? So anyway, for everybody again, this technology is all stuff that you can get either Microsoft Resale Shops, I've been picking up at the estate sales, so phenomenal grandma stuff, grandma and grandpa stuff in terms of electronics. Another thing, and I can't stress this enough, it has to do with electronics, but it's not from the electronic era, well it is, electronic, I have a page of electricity. Cameras, okay. Another great find this last weekend, but it's not the first one actually piled up telephoto lens. Oh, I'm gonna get hold of telephoto lenses. Well, gentlemen who passed away was in photography painting the sculpture and he was an engineer. I got all of his engineering books. I have a cherished book I'm going through on steel right now. It is a one of a kind text. I only have two of these and it's from the steel mills themselves and it's all of the database line by line information and application of steels in every and any shape and form you can imagine. Okay, that's cool. However, there's a whole bunch of other books and stuff that was available and then there was camera equipment. And the gentleman had no interest in keeping any of the camera equipment at all. In fact, I got a Conica reflex camera that I originally, that's what I originally learned to do. We had two reflex cameras to work with in class. And this is the model I kind of learned to play with cameras. That's the camera I was taught to use. So it's kind of cool because it's a vintage and it is pristine. I want to say it's excellent. It's actually like very good. But it looks as good as when I had it with the same model, you know, like 40 years ago, 50, no, 50 years, 50 years ago now. Well, it doesn't seem like that, but I guess it is, half a century ago. Anyway, the other bags that I picked up and I paid $20 for all of them. included five telephoto lenses made by any number of different, they're all Japanese glass. I mean, some of them, two of them I don't recognize in that book up and I got a feeling they're worth some money. But the lenses, okay, the scabbard systems will fit on any other camera pretty much that's out there. Now this equipment was classic 70s, 80s and into the 90s. I would say the early 92 but all of these these telephoto lenses are if you were to go out and buy them with the two three four hundred dollars five hundred dollars unit Luna lens one of them is a Luna lens and All of these are glass now guys. I've told you before these are the this is the most affordable way to end up with a Observation or spotting glass you know in other words take the camera and use it turn it use it as a a monitoring system, you don't have to take pictures. 35 millimeter, of course, but you don't have to take pictures. But the advantage is you can count the pimples or freckles or beauty spots on the face of whoever you're targeting at 6, 7, 800 yards. Okay, and what did I pay? Well, the whole bag, including what, four or five cameras. I would say I got a total of 15 lenses of niche types. support technology, a couple of extra micro tripods that fold up right inside the bag, the bag's a small bag, these things were like $180 when they came out tripod. But $20 for the whole batch. Guys, the optics, the glass, all alone, that's worth way, way, way past what I've paid for the whole package. Plus I've got some cool toys to work with now. We already have a Photoshop. Again, estate sales, resale shops, and rummage sales. You still got them out there. And most of those, half of those are actually estate sales anyway, where dad or grandpa or Uncle Bob is passed away or they're scaring down, read that, they're putting them in an old folks home. And in the process, all their stuff, they don't know what the value is. And I'm not going to argue. I mean, I don't even bother, in this case, the person I bought the other stuff from, He bought the entire estate sale. So I just deal with you know, whatever is he wants to offer? Let me know and we'll go from there. You know, we'll stick around the price But if I'm at a sale, I'm gonna remind you again Don't feel bad about getting anything for a good price. Why? Well, if they're asking that price for it and you say no There's gonna be some other pecker would that might step in there. He doesn't even have a clue. He'll buy it and Beat the hell out of it, have no appreciation of it, and it goes to no good. It's wasted, okay? So do not hesitate, do not wait, don't even ask, are you sure? I don't even bother that most of the time anymore anyway. They're pretty sure they're getting rid of everything and everything's going out the door. The most important thing is that these very valuable pieces of technology that are now irreplaceable, you can't afford to buy them. But here's the other half of the problem. You may not be able to buy them. The quality of the product does not exist anymore. That's the problem. It's just not there. China Sport has taken over and has created the wreckage that is the 21st century where we have even... Well, look at the crappy phone system we got. Okay, where we are with that. Now, last but not least, before I forget one more time, I had a couple of questions about wallwarts slash read that DC power supplies. Again, there's a couple of really neat units out there that all of you should invest in if you can spot them. It used to be they were a $5 item at any electric shop. These are a multi adapter, multi head, also variable output for voltage from as low as usually 1.8 or 1.6 volts DC all the way up to 24 volts DC. In addition, on the other end, on the wall end, you had the adjustment for output. On the other end, you have a series of little holder fixtures that have all of the standard or most of the standard male or female adapters depending upon which system you're plugging into or what it's supposed to plug into. And these little heads can be replaced. They're a big problem keeping with the unit. So if you're going to buy something like this, I highly recommend you get a decent, durable little pouch from somewhere. I don't care, a little shaving pouch or something like that to put these in so that they are secure and stick together. But you should invest in one of these. at least one. If you've got radio equipment or if you've got any kind of other optical technologies that need to be powered up and you've got a wide range of them. If they have an adapter, by the way, a lot of them have the different cell phone adapter fixtures. That's pretty much standard for the newest ones now. I would buy one of the older models. You usually get them in resale. You get them for instance in sales with the electronic shops. for a pretty good price. Again, down around $4 to $5 for the whole shebang. The newer ones, in fact we have one that Nancy is using right now, has all of the common, it has basically a tri-dit, actually like a fishing fork, pitch fork, with four of the basic, standard, cell phone adapters and it comes down to a single line connector. It's a really good investment and a really good idea. And these are, this is set up so that you actually, by the time you don't have anywhere from 10 to 12 to even 15 different adapter heads. And you have the power output adjustment so that it will meet the needs of the different equipment that you may need or either power up or you may need to charge. And I highly recommend that you invest in these. Somebody showed me a couple of the old models. I think one is by Atlas and there's a couple others. They're showing up in the resale shops and they're showing up also at Big Lot and Ollie's. I would assume those are the newer models. But if you do run into them, at least invest in one. Preferably, you should probably buy two or three. And the reason is because you know, you're always going to be somebody who sees that or you're going to have somebody else that needs a charger or the ability to charge and you can't share a certain fixture. So having two or three of those on hand, it would be a good idea especially if everybody's got the same technology that needs to be charged up or something comparable. Now the other advantage here is that you might run into older junk or older stuff which is always the case. What determines the potpourri of plugs is when it was made. If it's older, it'll focus on the male studs for any number of different 1.5 to 12 volt systems. You know what I'm talking about. And it can be small pin, medium pin, large pin, chubby stubby. You know, there's a bunch of different ones out there. If you haven't invested in this, it's something that you should. And the reason is it gives you a diverse ability with even a generator system when the time comes. Or if you have some other system, if you're using some other power supply and you have either AC, well if you have AC power off, either a generator or you actually have power hooked up to your house and you're running solar, you're running wind, you're running generators. in a combined arms team. You have power off the wall you can plug in so any number of different locations can be used which means that multiple units can be recharged simultaneously. You've got to remember guys, it's one thing if you have just a few plugs and you have 10-15 people that have electronics or technology that you need to keep charged or you need to recharge in order to stay in the fight, at least with the technology. And a lot of you guys have anywhere from two to three to five to six items, not only with your rifle, but strapped to your helmet that require recharging. Share time's a bugger. Now it's one thing if it was just you, but that isn't going to be the case. So whenever you're looking at settling into an area and dropping down, another thing that I would recommend is that you invest in a number of gang plugs with fusible links. just to have on hand for the purpose we're talking about because you can't share a plug. If you have a squad come in, let's say you're a farmer Fred and... Yeah, we got enough time. If you're farmer Fred and you have a squad of militia that's coming in to, you know, stop for the night, well, or for the, let's say the day, they're the night shift. You're on the far end of their patrol or the end of their support routine. They know that you know that they're going to stop. They know they're going to be there. It would be a good idea to plan in advance to have multiple power stations available. Otherwise, you're constantly improvising or everybody's having to wait and share. Something happens. Somebody's not going to have what they need. Prior proper planning prevents piss poor performance. I have milk carton milk curtains full of power jacks like that. Four gang, six gang, some are even eight, okay? And yes, they even have all of the other newer fittings and fixtures to do at least two or three or four other devices with the newer types of plugs, depending upon when they were built. So that's something to have. Why you want extra power, you want extra lines available, you want to make up little kits. I use the Ziploc bag system to keep everything together. And you basically use, like I mentioned earlier, the little sports bags. They're cheap, they're free, or usually free. They've got a nice zipper, they've got little pouches, and you take and put everything in Ziploc bags, put it in the bag, in the carrier bag. Now if somebody shows up, I've got the ability to do, with that one bag, you can do eight devices and more. and you just leave them laying around, you have them where you can find them, have a location would be best so that you can just pull them out and go, okay, the guy's gonna be here, but tomorrow? Okay, they're gonna be here tomorrow, so let's have everything ready to go. Team comes in, everything that's electronic they were using during the night gets plugged in for recharging. Meanwhile, rest, you know, food, rest, you know, or additional security depending on what's going on. and then they carry on with the mission per schedule. And when they leave, everything's charged up, ready to go for the next night. See, this is why again, doesn't take much, but it does take some forethought. Everybody can do a little bit of this, everybody, and it goes a long way. And most important is if you just pay attention, people get rid of stuff like this all the time. How do you think I got the two milk cartons, milk crates full of those plugs? Some office shuts down. You go over to Facebook. It's like office shutting down. Let's see plugs chairs Filing cabinets and by the way filing cabinets are great food storage. Can I remind you all of that? What's the number one problem? You're all worried about with your food rodents and bugs now bugs You're still going to have to make sure you do some you know protection But with a filing cabinet and if you use filing cabinets for storage I also use them for all the tools for the same reason I can handle a lot of weight filing cabinets handle a lot of weight They're perfect for putting electrical tools in and stacking and racking them by model But for food storage, they're especially great because I haven't found a mouse hole in a steel case filing cabinet yet Know what I mean? This doesn't happen making that a very sensible system for use. So anyway, again, we're almost to the top, but not quite. But I would remind you again, if you are going to be going out this weekend, we are now into, yes, you can freeze your hind end off and die mode. No, it's not subzero weather. The biggest problem we've got is hypothermia. And so if you're going to be deploying this Thursday or Friday at any of the facilities and or training over the weekend, even if you go out tonight, for instance, you don't know when you can stumble into something and get stuck out there. So assume that you should at least have a utility shoulder bag or a ditty bag. You'll always carry with you with some basic items. Fire starters and fire technology or heat technology is especially critical and Again hypothermia doesn't take that much in the way of temperature shift to make you dead dead and debtor Okay, so we don't want to see that happen. We don't hear about happening here about it happened anybody, but some people are stupid and I didn't hear what we said So, the thing here again, woolly pulleys and also any kind of wool items that you can roll up and put into that bag would be a good thing. Wool sweaters are just great in general. You get wet, they still retain heat. That's why the woolly pulley has been so popular for so long or one variation or another on the wool sweaters and you need one, okay? Another thing is don't forget spare socks and spare gloves. No, don't just pack them up in that bag. If you got six pocket pants on, you got six pockets. Those cargo pockets are there for a reason. Take a Ziploc bag, put a pair of socks and a pair of gloves in your left pocket and do the same in your right pocket. What's the big deal? Now here's why that's a good thing. It's on your person. You can't lose it. You might lose that shoulder bag, but you haven't lost all of what might keep you alive. Well, it won't keep me alive. Yeah, well, at least it'll keep you... you know, if the feet don't go then the body won't follow, which is especially critical. And we also need to remember that your fingers might fall off given the opportunity, but we can avoid that and we're going to make a point of doing so. So spare gloves, spare socks. Another thing, if you're not familiar about the neoprene drill sergeant cheat, you know, how the hell did that sergeant stand out there in a standard set of fatigues in Zero degree weather and he's busy preaching the gospel to you about how you need to do push-ups and he's not doing any push-ups. Well, the neoprene kidney belt or kidney belts in general, you can make them out of wool, you can make them out of an emergency, you can take one of your scarves and just wrap it around where your kidneys are and then put another layer on that like made out of a t-shirt. You keep the kidneys warm, that area right there, and again, the rest of the body follows. It's why if you look at the voyager type coats, notice the wide belt wool area that wraps around the center of the torso. And remember that they were wool also on top of everything else. Yes, no? Yeah, the voyagers, they knew what they were doing. You see the red coat would be blue or black and yellow, you know, very bright colors because they were color-filled. And again, they also make sense. So again, if you check it out, you can actually, I know this is not likely, but if you've got the old diver suit, you can cut those into like big neoprene rubber bands and make kidney wraps. Bring it up, you know, what you do is before you put the t-shirt on, Yeah, actually, or you can put the t-shirt on then, which is you slide the kidney wrap up, you know, get on for like a fair of underpants, but you slide it up to your waist level. And again, if the suits are really bad, they're going to be good enough for what we're talking about doing here, but usually something's usually got a leaky problem, you know, the guys want to get rid of. Always see, if you know anybody who has like a dive club, if they got any old suits they want to get rid of. And that's the neatest, quickest way to make a neoprene kidney belt that will keep you warm when everything else is sinking. Okay? Just heads up on that. Anyway, last but not least, because we are almost to the top, is I want to say thank you to all of our friends for donating. We've had quite a few different donations. That big one. That's okay. In fact, perfect for what you can do. So as long as you can donate, if you would like to, you can go to LibertyTreeRadio.4mg.com LibertyTreeRadio.4mg.com When you get there, go to the donate key, you can donate any amount. We are not to the end of the year billing, but we are headed there. And we'll let you know how we're going to set that up. We do have some really cool items for the drawings this year. And I hope to add a few more. In fact, some other knife technology became available. Oh, that was one of the other things I got out of the, again, estate sales. Some phenomenal cutlery, World War II issue. I won't say anymore, but the big thing here again is always ask, before I forget, always ask. You never know what somebody might have just sitting there. Oh, again, one more time, www.libertytreeradio.4mg.com, then go to the donate key, and you can donate any amount. And you can even be, you can even get onto a regular donation cycle. One of our friends does a dollar a month. What's only $12 a year? Yeah, that's cool, isn't it? If everybody listening, and we got people overseas, we got people here, Everybody just did that. You could do it every week, but if you just did it every month and everybody did, realize what that would be like. Yeah, we could probably, yeah, we could deal with a few problems. But as it is, we'll take what we can and we appreciate all that is donated. So don't worry about that. And again, thank you to our friend. That dollar a month makes a difference. And we should be hearing the music in a minute for everybody. It's getting cooler. Of course I have a very clear evening here. In fact I got a whole pile of them. But the paint job's done. They got it in before the cold and they are looking sweet. In fact those vehicles are invisible at night. It is the perfect actical color. God bless the republic. Yes, this is the new world order. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. We're in the march. We're gonna get out of the way for now. Ed's taking over. We'll be back tomorrow. Same time. Good evening, Incel report. Bye-bye.
