The Bill of Rights, the first ten amendments to the U.S. Constitution. Amendment number one. Amendment number six. In all criminal prosecutions, The accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation, to be confronted with the witnesses against him, to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor. and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense. Amendment number seven, in suits at common law where the value and controversy shall exceed $20, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved and no fact tried by a jury shall be otherwise reexamined in any court of the United States than according to the rules of the common law. Amendment number eight. Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted. Amendment number nine. The enumeration in the Constitution of certain rights shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people. Amendment number ten. The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people. I think it was July 13th to be exact. where a three-judge panel in the Fourth Circuit, a U.S. Court of Appeals down in Virginia, in that case ruled that the Federal Prohibition or the ban of people 18, 19, and 20 years of age, under 21, can't have handguns. They can have long guns, they can go to war, they can defend the country overseas, do whatever they're asked at that time, they come home and they can't protect themselves with a handgun makes no sense. And a decision came down, like I said, July 13, two to one saying that that was unconstitutional and that people aged 18, 19 and 20 could not be relegated to a second class status. It was good, it was really good. However, a couple things have happened since then. It's important to note for the anger that's about to come your way, that one of the two plaintiffs in that case turned 21 years old before the court rendered its judgment. And the second one, remember this decision came down July 13th, second one turned 21, July 25th. Does that matter? No, because violating somebody's rights is violating somebody's rights, point blank, no gray area on that stuff. Well, last week the same court vacated its own decision Because they said these two folks turned 21 years old and therefore they're no longer Facing these atrocities of not being able to purchase a firearm to defend themselves Hmm. Well, what happened before this well last month strange oddly enough The Joe Biden administration asked the entire Fourth Circuit to reconsider this case to reconsider allowing 18 19 and 20 year olds to exercise their right, their Second Amendment right, a right given to them by the creator of self-defense. The government doesn't tell you when you can defend yourself. But the Biden administration said, you know what, Fourth Circuit, you might want to reconsider that. Now, did that have any bearing in the case being disregarded and vacated and has now moved? Well, I'll leave that up to you to decide. I know what I think, but that case has been vacated and now it is just fodder. So will this go to the Supreme Court? We'll see. But I just wanted you all to know about that because I know a lot of the people in the community rightfully so were excited. Hey, you know what? This is a big cog in the wheel of regaining rights that were whittled away over the last however X amount of decades. So that case is vacated. Now, I'm gonna show you a clip. You know, I've been preparing for years and And regarding beans and rice, I mean, I've been storing at least 100 pounds plus of beans at any given time, and I've never had a problem. But with rice, I've kind of leaned, I've kind of, I've went in a different direction. I used to store rice as well, 100, 150 pounds of rice at any given time. But, you know, storing it in my experience, I've always gotten to it. I'm not in a position where I could store it in the ideal container, but I've just had bad experiences over the years. Any recommendations on that? One of the things that we do right now, especially because we're almost to the wrong place for it, but what we watch for is that the yard sales, the flea markets is for 10s. That's what we try to do. Although we can, we've canned rice. We've got rice that's now 27 nigh on almost 30 years in the can. And it's CO2 packed. uh... number ten cams we can get our job i go right to the day the minute that it went into the camp okay now that nothing to get to and we've already opened up one of the cams in the past here no problem with regard to the storage time the big thing is uh... the bet do the best you can but the five-gallon pail that no eventually they can double their way through so One of the considerations is to the trick that the Navy did for a while there, which was painting the outer containers with either cayenne or with habanero juice. That sounds weird, but it actually works. It's one of those things where they'll go to something else rather than try to nibble through the plastic. First they got to know that something's in it. So unless a scent is there, it's out of whatever inane curiosity or I don't know how the genes work with that, but they may nibble their way through. More likely it's a rat rather than a mouse doing it. But what we do is tens and a square and round, whatever you can find, and that keeps pretty well the critters from all the nibble-like soft items that you're going to worry about. Square is great because you can stack them if you get the right containers and you get the right size with stacking. You can use those inside like a square, come on, icing bucket. Those are like five gallon but they're square and rectangular in height. Obviously, long but they're square. Those are great because they stack well, they're stable and you use up all the space that you can. uh... with regard to internal storage and how they you know line up with each other side by side by side if you're stuck in a bunch of them but first rule is if you can ziploc them as a plot bagging that your baggies or bags were to carry setup that up perfectly sealed baby still got the stamp of the uh... warehouse of the factory on the outside that's on everybody's remember you know everything else to get better world factory sensory perception that we do and anything that has a food product on the outside, critters usually figure it's also on the inside. This is why it's especially important to clean up everything that you can and why when we talk about food storage with the containers, if you can, that's why you bleach them to try to neutralize all of the oils or whatever might be on the inside and on the outside. And bleach is a wonderful thing in that respect. It's one of those items that either powdered bleach or regular bleach and mark. storage system for the same reason. Go ahead, caller, who do we have? I've used empty coffee cans and old miracle with jars and stuff to store food. Well, thank you. That is another one. And for our friend out in L.A., now this is something I've been doing for a long time. I've mentioned this before, go to your bars, I mean granted there are not as many open, but go to your bars and ask them to save the larger hard liquor glass containers. I don't care what it is, it can be a fifth, it can be a half gallon. Now you can use them for liquids, which we've mentioned before, but let me point something out. uh... if you're not bouncing around a lot you're looking for time storage remember that the caps the plastic caps that are on you know on those bottles you know why you can use corporate company through court but the plastic cap is very durable won't break down in any way shape or form typically all the glass to glass container is perfect for storage you can see what's inside although again remember you should store the stuff in a dark place So what I've done with the glass containers is you fill those with rice, beans, lentils, or whatever, and then you put those inside the five-gallon pail or the round pail or the square pails accordingly. The advantages can also do water that way because there's no possibility of oxidation or rust or breaking down. The lid is designed to handle alcohol. It has no problem with H2O. the capture quite durable typically because whatever usually in the bottle is quite expensive that's another reason they spent more money on it you know bogan david containers have really nice glass containers but they have a woman in caps never notice that so they work for a while but the problem is that that aluminum cap is not going to last forever it will break down now a little trick with those if you want to use those because mogan you might have a but source for half-gallon or gallon jug of all wine bottles If you have those and you have the aluminum cap, because that's what they have is that stamped sheet metal cap, clean them everything off, wash it the way we just talked about, put the product in there, and once all the product is inside and you screw the lid shut, get yourself, well before you could do that, get yourself a soft pan. uh... regular cooking pan put them all or you can use a throw a get a throw a pen for the mission because you're going to use it over or get uh... take a uh... you can be down can pan that you don't care about what is nice uh... put paraffin in there okay melt upon the paraffin or two for that matter now once you're done filling all the glass jars with the aluminum caps you know the glass jobs like that with the nice little handled everything on which are really great for transporting even uh... What you do is flip it over, heat up that paraffin, don't boil it, you just need it so it melts. Dip that whole end of the jug, say about a quarter, half an inch past the cap, in the paraffin, flip it over, let it cool. What did you do? Just created a weather barrier to keep the thing from rusting. It's a cheap solution, works every time. You can use beeswax if you really want to spend some money, but I don't see why. The paraffin is cheaper and you can also scavenge it in a number of different ways from other items. There's all kinds of things out there where paraffin is used. And remember, this is for dry goods, not wet goods. Now you can, now that's for those aluminum cap screw wine bottles of whatever size. And I would point out that a standard fifth or smaller wine bottle is an excellent solution and yeah, you can just use the corks. If you do use the corks, you don't want to drive them in the depth of the original cork level because obviously it would be a bugger to get out. So instead, what you do is you push the cork in halfway, then do the exact same thing we were just talking about with your dried goods, paraffin the top of the cap, you know, the cap and say a little way down the glass bottle, and you've got an indefinite storage system. It should be good for quite some time. Now it's purely a matter of what kind of predators you have as far as, you know, rodentia. We call them predators because they're after my food. They're predatory, not territory. So what I want to do is, hey, I better invest in a cat. But also the containers that you fill, they go into another container. I would even go so far as if you're going to put them in the, if you're going to put them, hold on, call over for just a second. If you're going to put them in a five gallon pail, cut yourself a cardboard circle, put that in the bottom. put your bottle didn't see how many fed in between the late cardboard just like you would uh... when you used to have excelsior uh... to give them a bumper so that if you have to move on the dot clunking against each other now the topic a lot of your career or precautions yeah i am because the food going to be priceless to begin with but also if i do this i'm not monkeying with this for a while i don't have a problem with it taking a long time to be used especially if I've thought through and actually built it so that I can keep it stored for a long time. Just something heads up. Call or jump in there, please. Hey, Mark, this is JW at LA again. I've never used beeswax or anything, so these are just little details, but can you just use regular wax? Right, paraffin. That's what paraffin is. That's just regular wax. Paraffin wax. Like from used candles? Oh, you could use that. Yeah, that would work. That'd be just as good if you got old camp, but you know I hate to take any, I don't let any candle go to waste, but if that's what you got, the only consideration is this. The candles, a lot of them that are out there are good quality and they're soya candles. Problem is that's an organic consumable. So I don't know whether or not it's gonna, you know, in the long haul, if it'd be something, something I want to nibble on. But if you just go to the store and get one pound, they come in cakes. They're usually four cakes to a pound. They're rectangular, they're made by Gulf, Texaco, they're made by the oil companies. And it's used for canning and for other processes. You can buy it anywhere pretty well in the country, as far as I know. There's usually only one or two manufacturers on the shelf, usually only one brand on the shelf. But that's just regular white paraffin. Now, check your food stores and your food places that have stuff they get rid of. Medical grade, yeah, medical grade is good. Yeah, but we don't need it for this kind of external. But medical, yeah, you can get it in larger quantities in medical grade. That's another one Nancy was just talking about. And it's, yeah, it's like in basically cake pan sizes. But you don't necessarily need that for the kind of work you're doing here as far as if you're just doing only so many containers at a time. It's a personal, it's a personal taste thing. In other words, if I need a lot, then you're better off going the medical grade and getting the big blocks. I think I've probably got 50, 60 pounds of the stuff sitting here right now in just the paraffin. In blocks the size of a cake pan, rectangular cake pan that are about two inches, three inches thick, deep. The big thing here again is that you just need to be able to seal it up to give it another layer of protection. It's like painting something, guys. What paint does is it creates an oxygen barrier. uh... with the word it prevents rot because it prevents you know contact with h two o that moisture barrier or that deflection prevents the h two o keyword is the old part which is what great the oxidation uh... so in the famous to a metal when you paint things you want to clean the you know the rust off or whatever oxidation you have and then what you do is usually try to score it so that you can actually neutralize whatever it is just number of processes and then you paint it the paint is an oxygen barrier in this case the wax does the same thing but it's not harmful and in fact if i were looking at the long haul remember i can use that wax over and over again because we're not just going to be doing it this time around but if i grow more beans and i do more corn and i do more meal lentils and i grow more stuff i'm gonna need some to put stuff back in So if I can find containers that are multi-use, multi-functional, I'm much better off. And while the glass, the biggest thing is no, glass doesn't take a bounce real well, but wine bottles do. Glass wine bottles do take a pretty good bounce. They're actually the corked ones, and again, the hard liquor, because hard liquor is big money. That's why the containers are typically better made. Now you can get plastic liquor containers. They're typically with the cheaper liquors right now, if you've noticed. But if you go to a place like a bar, they will have containers that they usually get rid of almost every night. and you can start matching up so you try to create a consistent storage system. Here's a little trick. If you know you're going to get so many vermouth bottles and so many, you'll get you want the hard corks, so vodka bottles, whiskey bottles, bourbon bottles. What you want to do is, for instance, put lentils in one, that's a certain shape. Put your beans in another and put your rice in yet another and just keep collecting and prioritize them that way. This creates a consistency in storage so that eventually you have case lots of material. The big thing is the more places you look, the more likely you'll find the stuff laying around and the price is right. It will probably be, typically it's free, they don't usually charge, in fact they usually have cases and cases of them. Wine bottles at most of the to-do restaurant bar combinations, they go out the back by the case. I could go downtown right now and get probably 8, 10, 12 cases of mixed liquor and wine bottles tonight if I wanted to, probably get the liquor bottles. I don't necessarily need the wine bottles, but And preferably what you do is ask them, hey, yeah, I would like the corks. Now somebody else might be collecting the cork. Not all of it will be cork. Some of it will be organic cork. Some of it will be the new synthetic. Both of them would work for storage. Oh, another little trick. The wine was on the inside, right? So we don't want the wine cap end to be inside with our food product. We want to flip that. And we want the external cork side squeezed into it. Like I said, you don't squeeze it flat down into the bottle. That's crazy. You only need it down far enough that it properly is secured and seated. And then you dip that in the paraffin, put it in the rack, you're done. And you could do rice, you could do lentils, you could do beans, you could do whatever you want. For that matter, it could even be sugar. Sugars, salt, I mean the glass isn't going to break down and they're going to be upright to begin with, sitting upright, so the container is not going to be cross-contaminated with the material constantly in contact with it. Some things create ethers. I assume that the salt will, of course, you know, eventually what little oxygen might be in the container. Remember, you don't fill it right up to the top under the cork. You want to leave a little bit, maybe right down to the base of the stem as far as you want to fill it. maybe a little higher but not much but that's uh... again personal flavor choice thing mason jars work the same way if you don't have that another one that works well for the right to the beans are in other items are just whatever you have in the way of used to jars that are a standard pattern and size uh... that you get pickles or peaches or whatever somebody's mind without the recycle bin and see what you wish shows up in the glass and I'll tell you a good one that seals well enough, but it looks like a mason jar. They really do. Some look like Atlas jars. But they are a deep mouth and regular canning lids do not fit them. If you can get the regular lid that goes with that though, those containers are perfect for what we're talking about doing. They've got a good heavy gauge lid. They are glass, they are uniform size and typically squared to the body so that they have very little dead space between the containers. And you'll notice that with a lot of these companies, they're doing that more and more where they've changed the containers. So basically you have a very square or a very rectangular box with no dead space. They're not round, they're actually a, if you look at them from the top, they're a square or a rectangular fixture. And that way the cookie cutter right into the box as they come in, there's minimal space, there's no wasted space so more things can fit into the truck or the container ship that's moving them. More stuff fits into the container, air go bore containers will fit on the ship. That's how they're thinking about all this. And especially that's how you can tell if it's mostly import. Because the packaging is masked out. to minimize shipping cost by maximizing on space, taking advantage of space. So heads up on that one. Good question though, because it is a toughy. If you were short term storage, five gallon pails would be fine. But again, anything that you use, you're going to have to make sure you also do maintenance on if you're going to be doing long haul, and we're especially once we kick into high gear with this. You're going to have to be looking at rotation. You're going to have to use up what's oldest first. You do not use, and again in pecking orders, fresh food in the fridge. If the power goes down, needless to say, the freezer obviously is right behind that. Your canned goods in pecking order are obviously your dates, but also in addition to the date, you also want to remember that those zip-lid, if you bought anything in zip-lid, I do. There are certain things I've bought. I've got cheap, cheap, cheap that are in those standard zip-lids, even though they're regular bean or corn-sized cans. Those would be used first, and the other standard cans would be used last. Now, beyond that, the MREs should only be used if you have to travel or if you're looking to lighten somebody's load up because they are restricted or limited. And your freeze dried food, because it lasts the longest on the shelf, is the last that you should use. The freeze dried will last decades. Now, the canned goods will last for decades. It's a matter of how they're stored, how you take care of things, okay? And again, sometimes if you only got so much time in the day, understand that. But remember that still, even with basic minimal maintenance, they are good for years and years and years on the shelf. Except for the zip cans. Those zip cans are, I don't think it's an accident, they've made them very, very readily available. It's kind of cute because can openers aren't really that hard to find, if you know what I mean. So there was no real need to switch the system over the way they did, but they did, and I think having now had a little experience with storing them, we've had a percentage go bad because that zip lid perforation is the fail point. If the product is made contact with that and it's acidic especially, it's like acid for blood, aliens. You'll find that when you try to open it, you'll have a spot that just breaks free right away and you realize, oh, it's already compromised. And the inside doesn't look pretty either because it's already been compromised. Okay, just heads up on that. So what we need to do is again, you know, think ahead. The glass, if you're not moving it a lot, or for instance for caching, okay the glass with the liquor bottle cap is the perfect storage system. And if you paraffin the lid after you put the product in, by the way you can also use oxygen inhibitors, or you can just use CO2, you can take and get a CO2 tank, get a line with a sprayer type connector, sprayer type air spraying like when you just clean stuff off. Get a piece of copper tubing that's about 12 inches long. Mount that in the nose of that so that you can project the gas. What you do is you stick the wand, after you get the product inside the bottle, you take that copper wand that's only about a little 16th of an inch. You put it down on the bottom, you make sure that you keep your fingers around the top. And what you do is you hit the trigger and let the CO2 operate and as you do that, you pull the wand up through the bottle. By the time you get to the top, you release, you immediately put the cap on and you've made that a neutral environment for your food. You know, beans, lentils, corn, whatever you're going to put in there. Dry, of course, not wet. Dry, dry, dry, dry, dry. Did you hear me? Dry. You could do rolled oats that way, you could do lentils that way, you could do barley, anything that's a dried food could go into those glass containers like that. And then after you've CO2'd it, you put the cap down, screw it down, snug, don't go crazy. Then turn around, very carefully tip it in the paraffin, pull it right back out, you're not going to sit there in mobile, you don't need to. You just need the paraffin to cover the cap and everything and then stand it upright, leave it. Don't worry about anything, it drips down a little bit or you know, it won't take long. It'll harden real fast. If you ever deal with paraffin, you know what I'm talking about, just like a candle. And then you stack the glass. Congratulations, you have a food storage system that probably would be, you know, well, as good as a freeze dryer. To be quite honest, as long as it's not moved, and even when it's moved, the glass is pretty stable in the liquor bottle category. So it's a useful tool. But ideally for underground storage, it would be perfect. It is perfect. It is an excellent solution. After all, it's not really going to go anywhere, right? Not being driven down the road in the truck. It's sitting underground. Doing nothing. Anyway, we're going to go to break here. God bless our Republic. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. Well, we received an email saying that you're going to have a vaccine by a certain date. or face discipline up to including termination. And I took it as a threat because I don't plan to be vaccinated. And I decided to turn in my badge so I can speak up because others can't for fear of losing their job. Sergeant, how hard of a decision was that? Very difficult, especially after serving for that many years and putting it on the uniform so many times. the last time I put on, it's emotional. You're being forced to leave your job because you don't want to get this vaccine. Are you alone in this in your department? I'm definitely not alone. There's several hundred people throughout the city that backed this. And it's unfortunate because they were doing weekly testing for a very short period of time before they moved on to this mandate. And while most people don't want to do weekly testing, they would much rather do that and keep their job than be forced to get a vaccination. And the mayor had said that this was done to protect the employees and the population. But the thing is, they're not testing the vaccinated employees. And we all know that vaccinated people can get the virus and spread it without knowing even. So that doesn't seem right. And he also had said that the percentage went up from 82 to 85 percent and he had said that the strategy is working and if the strategy is to force people to decide whether to have a livelihood or get the vaccine. That's not something to be proud of. I know that your department's already understaffed. So if so many people quit, that's going to be detrimental to the community when they call 911 and there aren't enough officers to come to their rescue and their aid. I know you're not an anti-vaxxer. You just don't want to get it. You don't want to be forced to put something in your body for religious reasons. What are you going to do next? How will you make money? I haven't even thought about that. I am retired, I have my retirement. After I retired, I became the reserve because I was making extra money. And I don't know if we could always say extra because we all get enough just to pay the bills. But I mean, I'll find some way and money's not important to me right now. This is what I say when people elect representatives, they want them to stand on what they, uh, campaign on, right? There are promises that are most Most often broken. I'm gonna relate this to a sports example. If we put you in Congress, if I put you in Congress or whatever, he doesn't represent my state, but he sure gets paid off my tax money. I would rather have you go down swinging than go down looking. What do I mean? I can't stand the excuse from anybody as a representative that I had to vote for this because we were outnumbered so would have passed anyway. A couple things that I'm familiar with how conference works. I know that it has to go to the Senate side. It's not a law yet. But what I do know also is that there is not a Republican majority in the Senate. So for anybody to guarantee that something will be removed in the other chamber of Congress. is really going out on an edge. Could it happen? Absolutely. Will it happen? We'll have to wait and see. But I would have rather had this bill stomped out by the Republicans if we were able to stop it in the first place because of the red flag language that was in it. Not, well, we'll pass it just because, and maybe down the line when it comes back for final passage, we can get rid of it. So what you were being set up for is it's not going to get removed, possibility it's not going to be removed. And then you're going to say, oh, well, we tried. It's bullshit and we all know it. I'd rather have people stand up and have integrity which a lot of them seem to have, not a lot of them, a couple of them seem to have. Vote no for it because it has red flag language and force it to be changed now rather than hoping that it gets changed later. Go down swinging, don't go down looking. Just my take. I'd rather have it taken care of now than to have to hope that it happens later. It's kind of like if I voted no for this bill now, then I hate people in the military. No, you can kill a bill because it is not correct. It's part of its unconstitutional. Stop it then and fix it. But what do I know? Well it's actually a Spanish military manufactured magazine loader and they also have these separate they have these separate you go to military surplus and when you get there scroll down to the list let me double check make sure you get the lines right for you one two three four five six lines down they have by itself the set me magazine loader which will work i am pretty sure with the seven six two by fifty one NATO G3 mags but it's built for the, you know, for the CETME rifle. However, remember, the basic magazine head design is the same. So this should work with the 7.62x51 NATO G3 magazines. Original CETME loader loads 20 round CETME mags, heavy duty steel, and it is $50.00. It was $69.00, they claim. Who knows? but it is right now fifty dollars a unit and this is a military manufactured item that is very very useful especially for big caliber 308 rifles you drop the ammunition into the tray a twenty round box and all you do is push with the bar on one end it shoves all the rounds into the magazine cluck and you're done So one person stands there, opens up the tray, pulls the arm back, another person, if you're smart, is going to drop the ammo in, the other person's handling the mags. Three-person job? Why not? You want to crank out 100 mags fast. Make it two people, but however you do it, I'd do it like a little factory machine. If you don't have the seeds, you do not have the means to produce. Everybody, when the Great Depression hit in October, everybody thought they were gonna plant a garden the next season, problem. Everybody went out of business, including the seed companies. Just to new world order. We are on the march, both day and night. And guys, one more time, I want you to go watch this. If you gotta take a minute, well, I'll take 12 minutes. We better start talking about what's coming to America. And we cut it off at the knees, or at the crush, but we don't let this. This is done.
