But they did. and the bomber had been informed in advance that the that the idiots dick politicians had demanded all of this nonsense so they were the guy was able to drive right through the control point all right past the center control point because they didn't have the fifty of loaded up they share or man they had a blowed up they didn't have a man and so the guy they say was laughing all the way to the front door when he went boom Now I doubt this situation, it sounds, because of the images that we've already seen of the area of activity, that they didn't get past that wall, but if you got a high explosive, that wall may not have stopped much of anything, because if it's big enough and you're close enough, you're within the envelope of high compression with a high PSI slap and it kills you. If you're really close to the epicenter of the event, with an open air bomb, remember, there's no different from dropping it from above, artillery shell from the side, or someone driving up with a truck. Guys I want to remind you of something, Dollar Tree and Maynard, now Maynard's the same light they've been selling for 98 cents since they opened the one up here in our area. which is the years now uh... disappeared often off the market they did it work they were not forget uh... a little part of them came in again for ninety eight times and all of a sudden they've come back another dollar thirty eight or thirty six unlike that some goofy about but they're not a dollar dollar story of anymore they were basically a dollar story now i recommended the ones of the main urge and i still do because they're actually a pretty good little cheapie uh... solar light Any of the solar lights out there, even the cheap ones, will work better and will work for a good long time. But there's one little thing you gotta do for illumination. Kinda like if you know, like where, you know, DARS got the power out, we have the same thing here. My perimeter security doesn't go down when the power goes down. Why? Because it's many, many, many overlapping, many solar lights. and they're also benchmarking distance. Like I said, I can pretty well figure what I'm looking at. If I see it, I know what the exact distance is to a particular light because it's stationed on a particular piece of equipment or a particular pylon. So what's interesting is that the Dollar Tree has a variation. I've been experimenting with them. So far they've held up well. They're comparable to the ones, although they have a crinkle lens instead of like a clear prism lens. They are they do throw good light. They also will spotlight over at Dollar Tree if it's there you may be lucky if not the one we have here actually has had a stack of them and Apparently nobody's noticed that they're there because usually they sell out as quick as they get them What's interesting is if you again take and go over to your favorite big hardware or to your local hardware? and by a tube, just a regular toothpaste tube, you know bigger than a toothpaste tube, but about that size of bathtub caulk clear. What you do, you don't have to do the whole light, you don't have to seal everything up, but if you take and seal right around where that little solar panel is, and you make sure you get right down, like you cut the tip very fine, and you force it right down into the line around that solar panel and give it a little bit of an extra bead. It only takes a moment to do this. but when you're done you've got a solar light that will last pretty much indefinitely now eventually the battle batteries are that great going to die eventually you have about to get inside all these solar lights anybody if you haven't noticed that they're attracted by the boat home it's also got a nice little warm area uh... it's shielded from the wetness that you just created even better umbrella And so what happens is little bugs get in there. You can clean those out, typically not a problem. But if the thing goes out, don't throw the light away at first, obviously. Check the battery because one of the other things is your little light is outside in the weather. The metal that they use ain't all that great. In many cases, there's a little bit of just dust, just a little dust of oxidation. on one end of the battery or the other. And if you just take the battery out, put the battery, clean it off, take it even just with your thumb. Your fingerprints on your thumb are enough to be abrasive to clean it off, scrub it off. Put it back in, probably light right back up. For what these are, for a dollar a piece, they are very affordable as emergency lighting. You can keep them on standby for a while. I rotate them constantly. If one burns out, I just put it off the side for the time being, and I get another one for a dollar. It takes a year. to three years some of these are running right now have been going off for three years nonstop i'd just had one i was dar was open to make it i have one up front has been going for four years cost me a dollar it's been running for four solid years i can't complain about that and i only that the elimination was good So for lighting, just to move around, white lighting, and for security perimeter lighting, ways to light things up with your night vision where you can see real good even though it's not real bright. That's just like daylight with an LED downrange at 100 yards. That dark spot that Don always talked about when you know where they are, you put one of those LEDs up on an elevated point. Guess what? Washes the whole area with white light. Now, it's not great for your night vision, although you still does improve it enough you can see very well. But with your electronic night vision, it turns that little shadow area into daylight. Nobody can shut it off. Nobody can control it. They want to waste a bullet on it or try and throw a rock. Okay, fine. Make noise. Let me know where you are. See how that works? So just a heads up, Dollar Tree has the little spotlights for washing an area and for blinding an area with somebody in it. They are really well focused for what they are and they're a cheapie. They don't cost anything, a dollar a piece. If you need them for internal lighting, they can be used the same way. Make up like, you know, take like little candelabras or little candle holders, make up a little tube that sticks right into that and you put the little light on that so that it's upright. and amazingly enough that's all that's all the light you need a room and it's really cool if you put it over next to whatever one do you got who all the sun takes care of it you don't have to move it you don't have to light it at night when it's time and you're also not burning electricity off the wall and if there's no electricity off the wall anyway probably this is a good thing to be really useful so again they're over a dollar tree uh... another thing i want to touch on where the bottom little path bottom of the hour and uh... couple people but asking about this over it uh... forgive me colman dot com got to make sure you get this right colman dot com colman dot com when you get over there there's an item that is pretty handy i've mentioned it before it doesn't make a risk what camel pattern is it's going on the inside of a vehicle u.s. gi molly to vehicle panel you've seen these on a lot of humvees they can also you can use money vehicle to go right on the back of a pickup truck feed or whatever you got or issue v-seat and uh... this is got a molly rack it's uh... it's a uh... cordura panel with molly strips on it and a dump pocket or utility pocket that's known on to it Now the neat thing about this is you can put mag pouches and do that as a mag pouch. You can do it as a medical rack, whatever you want. They're $20 apiece, but every once in a while they come down on sale to mark them down. On occasion, right now they aren't. But at $20 apiece, though, you can't make them for $20. They are a good product. They were designed as a one size fits all. basically a suspension cord that you use to wrap around and go in, you know, around the seat, over the head of the seat, over the shoulder of it.
