So I know the mask very well. This is a standard Russian both military and civil defense mask. Everywhere still all through the Russian system, I would assume that they probably are going to keep making the same model. I don't know that they've got a new civil defense mask. If they do, I wouldn't see an advantage in it. To be quite honest, this particular pattern is just about as simple as it gets, okay? uh... the big thing is whether or not they would actually use different materials and i don't know but these are russian gas mass ten pack no filters brand new i've got a man had their brand new their old inventory new okay twenty five dollars for ten and the shipping is pretty reasonable with major surplus so you're not going to you don't get hit too hard on that uh... not back not hurt all of the time out anyway um... now let me read here real quick no filters so i don't see anything uh... it can be sold outside the u.s.a because after all you might help somebody from being gas by the united states when the time comes did you know that you know if you get here you can't send overseas anybody else got help you because people are horrible and terrible uh... but these masks which is in the pictures they are exactly what you see there is they're very accurate the images correct pattern uh... now they are a mix of sizes but there are a lot of small so one of the reasons i recommend this if you have a bunch of children and small people women uh... the unique gas mask or or do you figure going to be handing gas masks out to uh... these masks are perfect for that solution because you're not out what two dollars and fifty cents but everybody still breathing now these are in our mask they have no voice meter you can still shout through them but they have no voice meter one of the big advantages these are a possum mask that's why jokingly call them when you see him you'll understand why mark calls them that look at the pattern however one of the things about these that i mentioned here is the russian masks are a skull type you know rubber like uh... swim hat type of mass they go over the head there's no adjustments on anything you just pull it over the head like a big giant head condom Okay. Oh, that's that's really stuck on there good. Isn't it? Yeah, really good the advantage of these is again simplicity and Minimal time to turn around on a comic on an operator. I carry one of these in my combat pack as a spare They are very lightweight. I have a I got to carry another filter anyway So I actually carry the filter inside the mask the way it normally is carried if the the mask over his bag is paper bagged up so it's actually bounces well inside for about damage but the big thing here is that i have a complete master use if i need it for myself or if i have to hand it out to somebody else something happens so that's a nice nice little feature also a great way to have spare mass in tactical deployment or in cashing and other locations now i'm gonna tell you this i do not know although there probably are some date packing super pay attention for these these mass but These were a, the reason the Russians were able to do 125% protection is because they simplified the mask and they made a massive number of them. These do not have IR protection. These are a basic, true, simple plastic, well, soft rubber mask. uh... because of this when you store them people in a bit in garbage bags if you're gonna put if you're going to bulk on these put him in garbage bags put him in a black box of steel box with no light that be good indefinitely their dad don't believe that they have any or very little i r protection but that's because they're literally in their army their throwaway when you when you come up uh... into a situation we need to be calm they'd have millions more of these on hand and they would chuck everything into the kit if they if they didn't have spare mass they would just do the filters but if they were had the normal combat kit with post-it they just chuck everything into the into the d-con bag and you get completely slow down again and all the new stuff is issued to you and then away you go now it seems wasteful but the mass were reasonably priced economically pricy was intelligent that respect but we don't look at his throwaway and effect we don't throw much of anything away as we know the big thing here again is that they do work I've used him personally I've used them in field in chemical agent environments that are heavy so I'm gonna tell you right now I know that they work very well so and I've been using them for decades I got these back when they first came in through one of the sources that everybody else buys from now Again, they're worth it for $10 for $25. You can't go wrong. Again, small sizes, especially if you don't have enough children's masks. Since we're on MajorSurplus.com, MajorSurplus.com, that's where they are. There's another thing that they have, and they actually have them in all the sizes supposed to be. supposedly right now supposedly i'm saying because well in theory they're listed in their acting and when you try to order me to get them mud boots with inflate these are a good uh... boot for your d con caps their muck boot okay there's no you can put your your victory suit insider out duct tape insider out putting how you want to do it and uh... your coverage of your field this big but this is a good quality book for what it is for ten dollars a pair They come in brown. They are a Cabela's pattern boot. I know this because I bought 20 pairs of these in one sweep and another 10 in another batch. Well, everybody else realized these were worthwhile too. Guess what? They do have size 14. They had 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15. And over the weekend, they're down to size 14 and size 15. So I highly recommend that if you're going to get a pair, and in fact, I'm going to do this because I need some for myself. I want some big ones for myself. I want oversized. But they have size 14 and size 15. That's kind of clodhopper for most of you. But again, if you take a big size boot, if you were a size 13 you can wear the 14s. Okay, we go to these decontamination or like utility boots. One of the other things I would do with these is if I needed more boots to issue out to troops and I don't have enough, I'm handing these out. That's what you'll be wearing as a combat boot until we can find enemy dead to pull more boots off of. And then you're not going to get rid of these, you're either going to issue a tail or hand them back over and they'll be issued to somebody else or you'll run them because you like them. But for 995 a pair, brown, Size 14 and size 15, that's all they have left. I was going to tell you because of what I saw when we did the program on Friday. We had size 9 through 15. They're now down to size 14 and 15, which is kind of rare because usually it's the other way around. The big sizes disappear first. In this case, all the smaller ones did first. So somebody's already ordered these and realized, oh, they got them back in. There's some kind of arrangement they made with one of the China Sport seconds companies is what I think. So just a heads up. They're good enough for what they are and they work just fine because I got a bunch of them and they work again. Oh, let's see then that should be it for the moment. I paid pennies for the ones I bought by the truckload, because I bought them from the people these people buy from, okay, from the jobbers and wholesalers, the importers. But this is a good price and you don't have to buy whole truckload. That's why I'm bringing it up Okay that covers that and gets that out of the way next There is a couple of new guns and gadgets. You're gonna want to take a look at of course So just keep an eye on that you can go over there and check them out yourself. One of the big things I can see is using this as a standoff for spotting from a totally different location and using a passive collector to target the objective and put fire on target. Basically the same way we took infrared, because that's what I could do with this, is using the infrared zero generation technology, not starlight, infrared, and using it neutral with nope. Anyway, for what these are, definitely worthwhile, but again, personal choice issue. This is a more expensive item, but we're offering it for a lot less than anybody else in the country. and it's the same as with the Axion monoculars or the Axion red-blue-greens, which I can't get any more of the rifle sights. It does a highlight, you know, supposedly it will try to highlight out a human signature. It's what they're showing. The whole outer perimeter of the eye area to the bottom is ultra bright like you have this white shoot me line, looks like a W. Then on top of that, it illuminates everything down below, the bib area, the throat, the chin, the front of the uniform, it's like, oh well, I don't really need night vision, I don't even need thermal, their ass is right there, fire them up. A really good picture, kind of, before they realized that that wasn't you, that was the thermal silhouettes you'd set up and you were blank off to the side and you were just watching for regular white light illumination. This looks like a moon pie face. Okay, look he's wearing a moon pie. So whether or not again they thought about, I think they realize this because they show a glimpse. The shot, the two or three shots, you have to freeze them if you go over to YouTube. And you might find it posted, they may have made them disappear because they're all, look what we've got. And it's like when the guy's characters are using it and it's at twilight and then headed towards darkness. There's a shot with the guy, he's right in the middle of the shot looking to the right. There's another person there with him adjusting something and the whole face is illuminated. It's washed. Again, the prototyping, latest whiz bang thing, trying to make you feel its futile resist, you'll be absorbed. Guys, we either make it bright daylight down on the battlefield at night and we just keep illuminating everywhere we can, especially in kill zones we create. Or you work with the other stealth technology, especially which pull off their warm dead corpse. Just that simple. Anyway, real quick, yeah, thank you. And that's where some of the other alternate technologies, kind of like the one we just mentioned, was like the OD50. might be interesting to see how that can assist your day when the time comes. They do have good system backup just like the rest of these companies do for exchange, trade, or whatever warranty exists. And again, you can get them in whatever colors you want, et cetera. But let me do this right here. Frequency range, as you would expect, 462 to 468 megahertz analog. Yes, FCC license required for GMRS, which we're not going to worry about because you're not going to use it. You know that, right? frequency profile seven f r s eight g m r s seven shared f r s g m r s uh... relight twelve hours that plus your mind depends on the quality of the batteries you use but uh... as i pointed out it's amazing how long they actually will function in the twenty four-hour period we have burned batteries on these for about twenty four hours and they work i mean twenty four and i'll stop you know moving and uh... carrying them etc so But at the end of that time, if those are again not rechargeable, these are off the shelf, but better industrial batteries, they will be dead. By the time you get to the end of that 24 hours, you can let them use them for maybe you're lighting up an LED in a yard light or something, and that's about it. Even then, they're looking good for another day or two. As I said, not see right there, 29 hours, how about where we are, I believe that. I really would believe that, 3AA, yes. High with high confidence, because we've actually tested those. I would point out that, yes, they do make battery packs that are proprietary, which is a plus and minus as we've talked about many times. Okay? So if you are going to do that, if you are going to commit to a unique battery system, then understand it can become an orphan with a depression and with a communist Chinese cutting everything off real, real quick. You're going to commit to it. And by the way, I'm going to repeat this again too. I don't care what other idiot or jackass tells you. Do not throw away old battery. Do not. If we have the battery pack whole, we can, we'll eventually be dissecting, you know, if we haven't already done it, depending on the model, we can open that can up and we can figure out what it's got inside and we can mimic it. We can, we can even change the guts. Now, here's the thing to remember. We can go with a smaller comparable battery power reserve. We can be a smaller or different size battery so that we can even gimmick it up internally to make it work with what you've got because the battery packs are proprietary to the back of the hull of the radio. And they intentionally do it in such a way, typically, that you have to come up with a smaller, tinier battery pack system. If I have the plastic hole to work with, I can gimmick that up. And then I can clip it right back onto the radio. Congratulations, no one's going to be the wiser. But you would now, what will happen is you will have variations in, for instance, durability and performance. You may not run as long, but you're still running. so understand do not do not do not do not do not buy god i have this problem a bunch of radio fire followed over the years where you are where i've been a yard sale well we had a bunch of the batteries but we throw away or very batteries in these radios or no so in other words of the proprietary battery night first of all the bastard because probably all fifty years ago i pick it up anyway get up for two dollars a center maybe a handful for free all three or three or four dollars i got a bunch of for free this weekend i mention that yet I got a bunch of handheld, they do require 9 volt batteries. But the good thing is it's standard off the shelf 9 volt batteries. What's cool is I got a clutch of those for free. They're virtually, they're little motorolas. I would say 16 years old. They're virtually brand new. What was really interesting is I don't recall this model, but they had color coatings so you know which radio you're picking up because the tip of the antenna has different, each one has a different color. And otherwise it looks like it was a bundle pack, much like these other ones that we see nowadays, and free. So you think I picked it up? Well sure I did, they're free. And I got a big pile of them too. So those went to another site this weekend where they're separate and non-standby with the other stuff that takes 9 volt batteries. Because I do have stuff like that, but I put it over there. I put 9 volt batteries, go over there. And then the 9 volt batteries go over there with the 9 volt equipment. Anytime we're running more, get a deal on 9-volt batteries, they go over there. And by the way, that includes the 9-volt battery handheld transistor radios. What do I want a transistor radio for? Oh, that's old. Yeah, and I can plug my 9-volt battery into it, and I can listen to anything sent by my AM or FM base stations so that I can hear if I send out, they send out battle codes or battle orders over frequencies that are already preset. right you do understand that and so what's really cool is if you can especially run into i wish that uh... in fact they have done this for how long used to be a dollar tree guys they had a m f m radio society or palm remember those well we got a couple of those why well because guess what they work off a single well a lot of work off watch batteries but uh... the last one is really cool worked off one triple-a battery They receive anything I send on my AM or FM short range or small output base radios like our AM and FM rebroadcasters. Now remember, I've told you this before, at a given point, we will, since they're 12 volt systems and they're mobile, you can use these for command and control. It's just one way communications. You're sending it out. they're receiving at the other end. But if you have the radios to do it, then you have the ability to communicate in some way and direct forces on the ground. Remember, improvise, adapt, and overcome. That's the plan. So, that's why you pick up the old transistor radios. By the way, they're just convenient anyway. The little transistor pocket radios, I got one brand new that was this weekend from GE. work like a cop uh... has all little plugs for earbuds with a set cetera so i don't need to make a lot of squawk and noise uh... in the field and if somebody is sending us information overtly over an a m or f m frequency i can tune into the designated frequency listen and wait and off follow instructions accordingly prior proper planning prevents piss poor performance now uh... yes of the test me over to page Okay, the Motorola P260 with PMNN, oh god, all these letters, consonants involved, and lots of numbers, in this case just mostly consonants. Again, maybe a little more, maybe a little less, depending on the battery, because that's purely matter. One of them was made in China, where the operator 15 was paying attention on Friday, or where they were thinking about the corporate communist Chinese party dance and the party girl he was going to be partying with. He had his mind on that, not on your battery. Oh, well. Otherwise, I see two radios, two belt clips, two AA nickel metal hydride rechargeable battery packs, Y charging, same package. Difference is the packing the battery modules. You might want to do a little research on that and I'll see what I can find out more for you. So... all of the left now we couple other questions what were the other things we had to do here okay um... well i had policy i don't think i have time to answer a couple of them body armor okay so it landed i don't know about it when it's armor i do know they've had quite a bit they've been carrying quite a bit because some interesting packages uh... the guard dog company if i was faster most of what guard dog most of the stuff made by guard dog i can access to the same wholesaler that i've used for the optics that we've been getting unfortunately as quickly as the guard dog stuff comes in it has been grabbed and gone and uh... they have a armored backpacks which they're using for kitty packs for school but they are in tactical colors and that would have been kind of good for a day pack if you want to to upgrade and have additional armor on hand which is something I definitely definitely believe in if you want to wear more armor you can put a backpack sleeve in there and that isn't a bad thing because in fact most of your backpacks have you may not even notice this not on the inside pouch but on the outside of your backpack there's a slit pocket Now, there's a couple reasons for that. On the older packs, that was actually for impact foam. So you could put either the waffle pattern or you could put the standard high-impact sleeping mat type foam, like you saw with the old sleeping mats from the 70s into the 80s. Both of those would work just fine, but here's the thing. It's designed to slip a panel of something the size of your whole backpack into an area that's got about all the thumbs worth of thickness in terms of space. The advantage of this, I muted myself and I was muted. Am I connected now? Is everybody hearing me now? 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3. I'll be happy with anything. There we go. That's all I needed was a confirm. That's really fascinating because I hit the unmute and it's confirmed unmute and apparently I was muted. Oh, the 21st century with all the kank, asshats and well gimmick workers we have out there with our that are that are going to be operating the system we were at the top here just about uh... and again for you who could hear me for whatever reasons inside now whatever uh... again body armor in the backpack you go to both ash you can go to atlantic firearms you go to sportsman guide have insert panels you can buy just as soft panels if you're going to do the backpack you can either do the inside pocket where your radio pocket is there that's not a bad place to put the armor and some have just slip pockets internally but you also in many cases with a lot of your backpacks have an external slip point it's on the outside of the backpack towards your back now that was designed for a rubber baby buggy bumper impact pad but it works just fine for Kevlar. There would be the whole size of the back panel of the backpack and by the way it will soften any blow or protect your back from other injuries for stuff that might be in the backpack. How do you like that? It does serve two purposes. It gives you greater armor protection and still works as impact soft armor to keep you from getting gacked. So it's double plus good, but it especially keeps you from getting shot. Which, or well, reduces the energy with a bullet coming in. You should be wearing other armor underneath that on your vest, right? Yeah. But more armor is good, wherever you can add. So that's one of the tricks. You can't add it and drop it as you need to.
