There's a new strain of tyrants and They're gonna shut try to shut down the second amendment again. We're gonna talk about Connecticut right here I'm gonna put this press release on the screen here. This is from the CCDL. That's Connecticut Citizens Defense League and Connecticut has shut down the Connecticut firearms permitting and sales system. So if you live in Connecticut right now You're kind of screwed, so follow along with me. The Connecticut Citizens Defense League announced today that it has filed an emergency motion in federal court seeking an immediate status conference in its continuing lawsuit against Governor Lamont and Commissioner Ravella to stop the state's latest violations of the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution. In Connecticut, in order to purchase a firearm or ammunition, one needs a permit. In order to apply for a permit, an individual needs to have their fingerprints taken by law enforcement. Last year, Tyrant Governor Lamont issued an executive order which effectively shut down the system of fingerprinting individuals wishing to obtain such a permit. Effectively preventing anyone in Connecticut who did not already possess a firearms permit, from exercising his or her constitutional right to keep and bear arms. On May 9th, 2020, CCDL and others brought suit in federal court against the governor tyrant, the commissioner of the state police, and others seeking an order that if the state is going to require fingerprints to exercise a constitutional right, which in itself is unconstitutional, the state must immediately resume fingerprinting. On June 8th, that's how important the federal courts think of our second amendment. A month later, The federal court ordered the governor to rescind his executive order and to resume fingerprinting and processing firearm permit applications. The court ruled that if the state mandates citizens to utilize a given state-imposed procedure in order to exercise the fundamental constitutional right guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution, the state violates that fundamental right when it prevents individuals from accessing the state-mandated procedure. Under order of the federal court, the state restored the system. Now, in open violation of that court order, the state of Connecticut has once again shut down the fingerprinting system in Connecticut. Even more troubling, Connecticut has also effectively shut down the state's firearm purchase approval system, making it virtually impossible for most law-abiding citizens of the state, including numerous CCDL members, to purchase a firearm of any type. The system requires an FFL to call the state by telephone and get a verbal authorization to sell a given firearm to a given buyer. Many federal firearms licensees in Connecticut have long complained about the subjective nature of this system and that often firearms purchase authorization requests are delayed, denied, or the phone line simply clicks off when the prospective purchaser has an Asian or Hispanic founding name. Now the entire system has collapsed due to a so-called computer upgrade. It is virtually impossible to purchase a firearm in Connecticut or for federally licensed dealers to sell one. Many Connecticut FFLs are forced to employ multiple people to do nothing but dial the telephone, hoping against all hope that during the entire workday, one call might be answered by the state, and that FFL might be able to make a single fail. After thousands of calls over the course of an entire day, an FFL may not get through to sell a single firearm. On July 20th, yesterday, 2021, the CCDL filed an emergency motion for immediate status conference with the court seeking to stop the state's most recent and egregious constitutional violations. CCDL believes that only the federal courts can stop the state of Connecticut from its renewed, exasperated, and continuing violation of the Second Amendment rights of its members. Now, I could see, now, this thing, this is a computer upgrade. Maybe it's a glitch, maybe it's not. And if it is a glitch, then maybe they shouldn't have the new system go live until it's, like, tested and in place, and then... Unplugged the previous system. Connecticut wasn't the only state that canceled the Second Amendment per se Massachusetts was one and thanks to everybody goal GOA, Firehouse Policy Coalition, Second Amendment Foundation, Second Amendment Attorney Thanks to all of those folks who've got joined together We sued the hell out of Massachusetts and everything was forced to be open back up Now Connecticut's done it again guys and gals if you live in Connecticut signed off down below if you have any other information I know that people are on top of it, but it shouldn't be this way and they're just gonna keep pushing and pushing and pushing Until we're backed into a corner. I give you this information. This is something big that's happened to just one of the 50 However, if it can happen here, they're gonna make it happen in other places. Now, yeah, maybe it was just a software glitch, but when your state legislatures and your US legislators are about as anti-gun as you could possibly humanly get without being named Bloomberg or Soros, I tend to think that otherwise. But there's a federal lawsuit now against the state of Texas for trying to build a wall on federal land because it's a federal border. Yeah, but it's a state border, so here's how you work that. But the other thing is if you talk about making for instance if you are talking about making additional pockets on the vest or whatever you have You can stitch it in to place where the regular sewing machine make the pocket by using an existing pocket Stitch in your line slip this in and all of a sudden your core armor is upgraded that much more which is a reasonably reasonable price solution so you get you go take a look at it uh... the big thing is that you're looking at two hundred dollars for level four side plates and they're only six by six inch the level three i know what the differences are still bigger by two inches in height than that is a good thing now you remember like i said with your french and the italian carriers which by the way none of those are sportsman's guide all of those have been sucked up by everybody for the reason i've been mentioning people have been buying the carriers and they're building by going cherry picking from all these armor companies and they're making their own the boot building up their own best to their own spec and it's a matter of budget whatever you have available what you can afford now something it's really interesting if they come back in the stock and i will point this out for both of those If you want to upgrade, for instance, or you want to try and build in the Osprey armor, these 6x8 panels will fit in several of the pockets for the Osprey and would settle some of your armor issues there over top of soft armor because I would still use soft armor underneath the hard plates. I've mentioned this many times, it's still a big difference in FUD. In fact, if you'll notice what they're doing now, and they have been proning for a while, are the shock bumper plates underneath, rubber plates underneath the armor. Well, if I'm going to carry extra weight, why not carry extra Kevlar? I mean, the rubber baby buggy bumpers are okay, but Kevlar will do the same, but offers more ballistic protection from spalled or whatever energy might be left that may be moving through the plate and trying to get to you the soft, chewy part. So just a consideration here. This is a way to upgrade or add additional armor for a reasonable price. I'm going to tell you, we paid a lot less for chicken plates that size. A lot less, but that's in the past. There's always some place you could find in your history timeline where, yeah, man, I used to buy that for... Yeah, but not anymore because those days are gone and the reason we got the stuff so cheap is because your government tax dollars paid for it and then they shucked it out the back door. But they also have it in black. uh... for one forty nine which is the phoenix armored backpack i guess both of her by phoenix but anyway uh... they do have those but they have the panels now here's another thing hard backpack armor sixty five dollars for one panel let's see what the size of the panel is real quick come on and of course now the page wants to be slower molasses and twice as thick uh... does not tell me what the hotel but we get the dimensions here so again for you guys that are looking at dimension on the panel. Ah, here we go. 9.5 level 3, 9.5 by 13 inches. And that's $65. So that's yet another size option to pick up to use for the other kind of work we were talking about. In addition, they have the soft backpack armor for $99, which I still believe is probably level 3. Go take a look at it and see if it floats your boat, fits your mission, and get on with what you need to do. The other thing here, yeah, I know, the others, oh well, again, there's a question here, okay, would level three, is that what you carry? Well, actually, I do have a lot of level three armor. I don't buy level four because it's more expensive, but it typically hasn't been done in price for years. When level four first came out, Second Chance made some really phenomenal deals, and I probably have about 15 or 20, I had lost count, of the Second Chance level fours that came out when they first started producing rifle armor. Why? Because Second Chance was right here in Michigan, okay, right on the west side of Michigan. And a lot of the promotional that they did came out across the state to all these different cop shops. Well, they got their samples and they tested them. And usually what happens is they would end up being sold out of the department, like the sheriff's department or whatever, and they'd end up at the gun shows. And we had a couple little shows here and one of the characters was connected with three or four different counties as a trainer. And when they got rid of stuff, he grabbed all the speed loaders, he grabbed all the old leather. Well, we ended up with a whole bunch of that armor that came through. And so we have level four rifles, second chance, with all the extra pockets for like the chicken plates I keep telling you about. So you have even more core armor. And they've been around for a while, but level three, my attitude is any armor is good armor, stab armor. If all I can grab is stab armor, and that's what's hooked up and near me when I can reach it, that's what I'm gonna throw on instantly. I won't even think twice. there's a reason i've i've mentioned it also has to do with medical issues like we were talking about the last couple days here you're hoping for a nice through and through but guys what about that bullet that scott's off that armored it is going to but it's a high-powered rifle around your angle below that which is really good because it saved your life and so you've got level three armor on and that bullets and cuts along there and goes right into that by step Only it doesn't go in like a really nice neat shot that doesn't hit the bone because you don't want to hit the bone because of course it's a movie and you're not going to get in the bone. Right. But it doesn't. It goes right along the outer flesh area and it tears a divot right through your arm. That's very different from that convenient poke, you know, your round gauze into a nice neat hole and then jam pressure on it. Because, well, let me remind you of something. Do you remember the guy that was shot by the Kennesaw kid? If you saw it before they pixelated the images, you got a real ripe flavorful, like a whole eyeful of what happens with a close quarter rifle round. And if you go back, I'm jogging your memory on that. That can happen in so many different ways that you'd be nice, you know, that nice, neat, consistent, we know injury isn't going to be the case. However, if you had body armor on with a scud wound like that, it wouldn't dividend. Now it would still bruise like hell. But if you're lucky, what would happen is your armor would do its job and it would kind of suck it and move in a certain direction, but you'll still resist. And especially soft armor. And that makes a hell of a difference in terms of how it's going to affect your physiology. your body now this sounds weird this really does but this is something i picked up years ago in aerospace listening to an instructor and then later on i thought two or three other information bases you know the matter you about it can handle like uh... so uh... six hundred g impact actually it sounds weird but it's like what and it's like uh... the only problem is that whatever you get it really have like sharp object so you have to be sharp when you're being when you're impacting a real higher velocity uh... your body does a good job of of of actually stretching and expanding and then we contracting and the global one um... medic was talking about doctor was talking about the years ago was at the university of michigan's on north campus and we he was going over aircraft you know what design but also aircraft crashes okay angles most everybody physically could with and the impact injury that would take place if you were to say fall horizontally yummy would be good for you if you're going to get hurt but most people would survive a plane crash were it not for the fact that all of those odd angley medley object like arms of chairs and backs of chairs and you know parts of the structure the aircraft that you sure you know if you are moving have a tendency or even if there's special it stops you have can feel you know do other damage that you know quite dramatic but amazingly enough even there if it was a consistent impact it would be quite survivable now when you think about that it's not like marks crazy let me remind you of all these different incidents like remember when the uh... polish airliner was shot down and the israelis who shot the plane down murdered all the people on board after the plane crashed well they survived but one of them was uh... was a stewardess who was completely intact she went to the back went into the bathroom i've told you about this before from you know what you what we know about planes she went into the bathroom she didn't sit down in her crash seat which really isn't much of a crash sheet for the stewardesses if you know the planes and she survived or she was shot later by the israelis around the ground murdering the uh... uh... murdering the uh... polls of the contract at the russians blame for it called going on but fact is how did you survive full inside the bathrooms everything is flat surface for maintenance purposes and so as long as you understand that if you break yourself towards the front bulkhead when you impact you're not pushing you're not rushing towards something you understand what i'm saying And so the stewardess literally was able to walk, and in fact there is a member of the video, she walks out of that bathroom, it was caught by the guy who was on the ground, the person running the camera who was like, wow, there's a guy getting up off the ground out of some of the wreckage, and this happens all the time, but the woman walks out of the bathroom, walks out of the flight latrine where she was hiding, where she stayed, she was smart, she actually did something about the aircraft. And now why is that? Well, the bulkheads, there's two bulkheads that are strongest on a plane. The area surrounding the water tanks and the bathroom, the toilet, because of the water tanks themselves and the weight that they carry. And the other is the bridge that has the, those two areas have the strongest bulkhead or arrow frame on the plane. And that arrow frame works from top to bottom with the aluminum cylinder you're flying in with all of its frame components. so smart stewardess doesn't sit and wait in that upright chair with no flexibility with the bulkhead collapses behind her which is what would happen she went into the bathroom she made it so again it's like when you're talking about your wall what would you know what you're wearing the armor but you can still get hit with the energy i didn't say you are going to get hurt you are going to feel it but if you watch and there are millions of videos you can watch it or showing ballistic gel but also there are some showing human impact with projectiles and where something moves by or moves along the outer surface and does shear the person over a lot of the stuff has been taken down to you know micro motion and you can literally be your list the musculature warble with the energy as it approaches it takes longer for me to describe it that does for it actually happen but you actually can see the energy of the bulk energy, the point of the energy wave which the bullet is creating while it's cutting the air where it actually ripples the tissue and then it might cut or shear but it doesn't go, you know, it's not going through, it's not a clean through and through. Although there are several images like that that can be seen also. Now what's interesting is it blows up completely and then what does it do? Or expands and even, I mean, horribly stretches. You know, you're thinking, why the hell doesn't that tear? Well, half the time it does. But if it doesn't, guess what? It's bruised all to hell. And the other consideration here, as was pointed out many times about body armor, is that, yeah, it might have saved you from a really horrible, horrible, traumatic tear in your tissue. But remember that all those capillaries and even some minor veins being ruptured or badly stretched and damaged, are enough to create significant internal injury that's going to have to be dealt with anyway however we start don't have to worry about what you said earlier plug in your holes with big water caught and put the pressure bandage and put the tourniquet on however i then have to watch out for blood clots and if you want to see images of that go over to you go over to youtube go look at some of the people with body armor that they've worn they got shot they're taking it off and it's like oh i'm not talking movies there's all kinds of real-life examples It's not bullet proof. It's bullet resistant. But your body's pretty resilient too. So as long as you can get something tougher over top of it, it's good for you. Okay, and if you're in a war zone or you're in a fight, more armor is better of any kind than anything over your carcass. I got a whole pile of steel helmets. Okay, of all nationalities, big piles. 500 here, 20 there, 35, another spot. Depending on what era it was, I used to buy truckloads for less. surplus is gone stupid price because everybody knows we're going to war and they're they know they can mark they can mark up what they got that's why the prices have gone where they are that shows you that we're headed into a conflict because they know exactly where where things being absorbed and how it's moving that's why i like it told you they don't tell you how much ammunition been sold and they don't even want to talk about what the uh... you know the surplus industry has been doing it can't for obvious reasons again i'd i've seen the writing on the wall this has happened that would have happened before but only not even near the degree that is happening now at the peak of the nineties at the peak of the nineties we did tonnage but we didn't spend this kind of money the people that are spending money now to arm up aren't worried about what how about we actually budgeting things most are you guys hope we are because i've been trying to condition you You can get decent equipment and outfit more people for the price of what most people would only be able to do one person, you know, top to bottom, if we do it right. So again, that's my goal. The idea is everybody can be up to the same level of defense protection, everybody with the same offensive projection capability, and then focus on developing your skills. but you gotta have the tools in the toolbox and that's really why again this was kind of a cool deal like i thought it was really funny i would all wonder what the price those things are those side place sure enough standard chicken plate so they'll fit more than one pocket you got me that old bar police armor i got you to buy what was twenty five dollars of best years ago that had the chicken plate pockets uh... on the front back remember the polish armor came from all apex gun parts for listening and you have a pile that Those plates for $99 plus you get a bunch of web gear. But those two plates upgrade that armor quite dramatically. You just changed its potential completely, but you still have that full wraparound side armor, back armor, and you'd have a real hardcore chicken plate to go over top everything. That would be good. Okay. Anyway, enough on that. Now, next. and uh... somebody was asking me again about bayonets so i will remind you as i have said a few times you don't have to have a bra original military bayonet if you've got something to get left here whatever fantastic if you were smart you went to the gun shows that way back when we were buying stuff cheap when it came in cheap and it's now the stuff that we bought cheap you are tempted to sell because it ain't cheap no more but you can't replace it there's the problem So if you do have an AK, yes, there's a number of different bayonets out there, and right now used is fine. I've always argued that you know, well, it's not brand new. Yeah, but it's still pretty sharp, and it's a pokey thing, and the bayonet fits to the, you know, locks up to the lug. I just mentioned one company, apexgunparts.com, apexgunparts.com, apexgunparts.com. They have AK bayonets that are used. sometimes they do in the bubbles of three and they're down below fifteen dollars apiece effective at about two thousand dollars apiece uh... recently again they may be the Bulgarian that they may be the russian they could be the east german although not likely could be a struggle of the golf catching the stupid price a crazy price both benefits we paid a dollar twenty five four are now going for hundreds of dollars in some cases closer were very white least your world that's quite sick and because of that well do now that i might well because i can go by if i could but no one for a hundred dollars or two hundred dollars but i could turn around by maybe fifteen of the used ones that are the same basic band that and you know what that would be worthwhile which is why i bought the other stuff to begin with i'd like the east german stuff although it is not the best is not the worst it's the upper and middle of the road but uh... there are a lot of other things i can buy that will work to do the same thing and so i can really start to stack up the equipment apex gun parts dot com a corporate check real quick Well, for your Mausers, K98 Mauser, there's a hundred different bayonets that were made for 200 different Mauser variants that most of them will all fit from one to the other. But, let me give you a little hint here. Polish have the standard bayonet barrel ring, so do the Czech. Not all of them, though. Not all the Czech, but the Poles do. Most of the South American have the barrel ring for, you know, guiding. You may notice if you look at the World War II and World War I and World War II, K98 Banettes or Gewehr Banettes, because they fit on the Gewehr the same way, they did away with the full ring, but just an arc support so that the Banette fits properly underneath the rifle. The reason is that it would fit a greater number of variants in rifles available, because the Germans were poor. that the after world war one they were hit hard because of the tree of her side because of this they were looking for universal solutions wherever they could and because they were chopping down gabir ninety eight and the re-machining the barrels and refitting sites and doing all kinds of upgrades with existing inventory uh... because there were variations from one plant to the next we'll microbe variations the non-profile front ring uh... bayonets where the hillpills uh... that was more car common-sense and it's paid money because that was a machining process gotta remember you to bore the whole proper diameter had to be properly centered and you also had to finish it well if you eliminated that just had a divot a single cut with one machine and then they do a finish on it that was a lot faster to and remember war production you want improve production minimize machinery So that was a step unto itself that saved a lot of time and money in the factory. But it also meant that whatever rifle you captured, let me give you a little hint, if you picked up a Polish Model 29 Mauser, you could take the standard K98 German bayonet and lock it right on, and it wouldn't have to worry about it lining up properly, because it did. If you captured a check model, any one of the three 98 Mauser variants that they did, guess what? They all locked on. Now, here's another thing about check manettes that I like. They have the gut you from below blade instead of the hack you from above. What do I mean by that? When you hold most manettes, you'll find that the fighting edge is the crease edge to the bottom, okay, because you're going to be able to sweep with it or whatever. The checks, and to a degree the poles, it depends on what year, uh... used what was called the southern parry of the southern for uh... southern bob prep station for bennett uh... bennett attack low station not high so because of that the woodwood weapon to be held down at about forty five degrees and the idea is that matter what you could catch somebody in the crotch catch him in the leg but you would come up and thrust pop If you were able to time it right, obviously the idea is you wouldn't even be crossing with the blade, but instead of moving up and cutting into the vitals from below the rib cage, and in the process the blade was up, not down, so as you thrust up with the blade into the heart and the lung sacs, the idea behind this is that you have that cutting edge goring open, splitting open and probably even cutting the sternum quite nicely. uh... the film that a similar variant in their bladed band at the remember they also they they use a number of different rifles during the before and during the war and uh... but still would be a upper upper uh... you know seration or if you know a proper uh... played top top strap rather than bottom strap was typical for many of theirs So, and that was the reason for it. It's just a different philosophy in how you prepare to engage with the bayonet and how you use it from the get-go in the offensive format. Again, Mark, that's why I like the M14 bayonet because it's got two edges. Right, it's got an half edge on one side and when they're both sharp, they're both sharp. So if you come up from below, it will do exactly what we're talking about as described, but if you come, when you pass, here's the thing to think about with bayonet drill. you don't have come once people you have a a car car you have a routine like in boxing where we've talked about this one two three so when you go to radio station port would like the m fourteen then you're prepared to be the use the but stroke or again remember if you get the aggressor if you can either the offense defense but mostly again the ideas of defense uh... you would be able to you cross first with the bad at you cross and then you return with the butt stroke and then as you let the weapon fly past you hit the jaw, the chest, whatever you're gonna do, you allow the weapon to pass over the shoulder and then you use the butt base and crush whatever you can with that. Now that's not the end of the deal. Once you've struck like that with all the force that you can, the enemy is supposed to be stunned, you then either step forward if you're trying to close the distance or if the distance is appropriate Then you would cross back with the blade coming down across the neck and across the chest, moving across the chest with that lower blade. In each case, each surface is both flashing and, if given the opportunity, penetrating because if you can dig it in, then you thrust the rest of the way. You follow up. If you can get past web gear, body armor, and other even clothing. Remember, and bone, don't forget, bone's in the way, and this is not cooked bone, this is resilient, live bone. Which is why blades also, well, cruciform blades push material apart, like if you're going through the rib cage to get to the organs. The purpose behind the cruciform blade was to create a gaping wound that would continue to be an effective wound channel, but it also would penetrate especially through outer layered material and still permeate because think about how those cruciform blades are they start with a tiny little point going through the rib cage what would happen is no matter where would hit it would go up or down based upon point of least resistance and then separate the ribs and go to the vital organs that's why the cruciform but the cruciform that had also especially if you learn to push and then remember you twist and then you pull to extract the blade what you just did is if you'll notice go take a look at your SKS bandit if you have an SKS you have you noticed how they cut the divot in the track of the blade go take a look at that it's kind of like a routing bit and if you know what you're doing when you bandit and then you turn when you turn it will be again adrenaline rush is going to help make this happen what's going to happen is those are cutting edges and you actually sear the flight, you separate the flesh and open up the wound channel to the vital organ and obviously through any veins or arteries you might have tapped in the process. So again, each one has method to its madness, each device works contrary to what some idiot sticks with, it doesn't work, this does all the whole work. In fact, again, let me ask you, how many cruciform bandit blades are put on how many SKS's or how many AK's? or how many they got rifles okay then again okay how many of those cruciform bayonets by the way those don't fold those are typically remembered they suck them in your belt now well but wait but everybody's blades well yeah a lot of people use blades too and blades you'd be the thing with the blade is you're not taught bayonet drill remember if you're going for the chest guys you're supposed to pivot your pivot the rifle with your wrist and make the blade flat when you're going for a chest strike because you want to do what I was just talking about, the idea is you're trying to forget between the tissue, get to the soft tissue between the two ribs. And it's basically musculature because remember, feel that area when you breathe, okay? So what you're having to do is go through that meat to get through to the tissue and that's why banettes are again a certain length so you get to the, or forgive me, not tissue, but get through the tissue to the organs. ideally something that makes all the blood pump that's really embarrassing without one goes out right up and at yes it's a good idea have by the way most your bet if you buy the right ones if they're beaters okay if it's a crap was played the came back for the war you're gone mad i gotta take care of it grandpa might like it if you're fighting for freedom of liberty in america which we will be and you using the rule weapon that he had to help free america and get rid of the communists and all the left of here you won't mind if you do that but you're probably going to be worried initially because yeah it would cost a chunk of change to replace on the other hand you go find them used a band that's out there and amazingly enough they're cheap enough or get the aftermarket they'll do the job When the time comes, you have the right tool in the toolbox, as they say, and you can get on with making whatever work work for you, but learn to use the technology. Learn to make it work right for you. A lot of thrust, parry, develop, withdraw, follow up. Withdraw. And the follow up, it means that you might reintroduce the routine again, because you've got to turn... You introduce that blade right under the chin. Yep. As a matter of fact, I'm looking real quick and yes, they still do have quite a selection of bayonets and when you look at the prices you're going to go, oh my god. But if you do have certain rifles, then you might find a used one for a reasonable price. The VZ-58 bayonets are still only about $25 and that's not bad. That's the original pattern with the sheath, but not many of you have the VZ-58. However, There are carbine banettes out there. The Italian ones came in at, in fact, they have a little 64.95. A US one's running over, what, 100? The Italian banettes are newer production. Now they're collectible too, but they're still basic service knives. And you can get, well, it says if you buy five, forgive me, you gotta buy five at a time. You got a bunch of carbines, there you go. You got a bunch of banettes cheaper. But that's still 64.95, that's $65, okay? Throw that nickel in there. You can find copies of the carbine bayonet maybe for less. $27 to $35 I think. The other thing I've noticed, and they do have some right now, the spike bayonet for the infield used to be like $2 forever, like BAR magazines and infield spike bayonet were $2 for decades. They had so many of them, they didn't know what to do with them. Now they're more, but over at Apex Gun Parts, that's what I'm talking about here, they have spike bandets for your infield for about $12, well, $13. If you buy a handful of them, they're $12. That's not a bad price for those. They're, of course, way back in the tail lights because they're World War II to Korea. sold again you're getting a decent and again don't go anything fancy i mentioned all all we have it now very good host bill better choice kickmark in a microphone here we go uh... special and feel number four spike bandit set up to blue steel very good conditions sixteen ninety five there we go that's more like what i'd like to see eight dollars and fifty cents apiece they're used all these benefits are used most people used to joke if you use the infield bayonet for a tent stake it's a straightforward spike there is many blade on it there's even a sculpting on it it is a spike but it is the correct bayonet that will fit your number four mark one and that's reasonable eight dollars that's reasonable okay so if you got a british infield there ain't no reason for you not to have the bayonet and put it you know we'll make up a sheath with nylon or see if you can track one of them down the sheets whenever great to begin with it was wartime production but uh... you can make a key for that with nylon strapping and you know about what ten minutes and it would be just as good as anything they made world war two seriously but it's a it would you if you're not familiar with it and he got an infield there that's still the best solution now they do have number one mark three and field banettes uh... the look like a heavy stock right now and they do have some of the other Mauser like the FN Mausers but that has again the full ring. As a matter of fact the Yugoslavian type 3 AK bayonets also, depending on the model here let me double check, yep those have the wire cutter and I've had some people asking do the wire cutter work? Let me tell you something, when those wire cutter bayonets, the AK bayonets first came in I could get them for $1.25 a piece all day by the crate and I did. and you know who carried them the national guard signal units here in michigan love that to all your upon the line you're carrying a cutting blade that's a work blade it's not nothing fancy but it is well built which russian dog house but what they use that for with the line when used them for you know poor work anything on the ground in pre-cut they had to cut it they didn't have to carry a pair of snippers they have everything they needed right there and they would be bad at was the wire cutter because the sheet is the other half of it and they hang from the belt so while you're upon their using alignment hanger uh... you just brace yourself and then you don't want to get attached the uh... but what was told by the guys where they were doing it they would be good to catch the uh... uh... better the uh... scabbard from your belt they hook it up to the front and all they had to do is pull it up line up the wire between their hook up the bayonet clip and they're done If they had to do two or three wires, they'd do them all at once, and then they'd put the bayonet back in the sheath, let it flop and hang, get on with the work they needed to do, and it was nice because it was on a hanger, so they didn't have to re-clip it. All they had to do was put the knife in the sheath, and they were finished, and it has a good aggressive spring to keep the bayonet where it's supposed to. These are tools. That's why you get a used one. You're not going to cry when you have to use it. or if it's pristine, oh I got the one that's $200, it's like buying that $3,000 HK. What happened? What happened? So you don't want that. You want a working blade. And there are a lot of places where there are still some working blades out there. What I mean by working is you won't be afraid to use them. Okay? So anyway, hopefully I covered that enough with that. Manettes, yes. If you can get one, get one. If you can get an aftermarket or a used beater. The in the M14 was mentioned earlier. There were a ton of really tired M14 bandits that came in for about $10 apiece. They were Korean. Well, the Koreans use their weapons. Okay, they're on a war zone. That's what the DMC is. And these blades were I think worn down by a third from sharpening over decades. But you know what? The American steel, it worked just fine. Made by TRW or one of the subcontractors to TRW and they worked. So there we still have them got tons of them, but that's back when they were a lot cheaper to Last but not least since forward apex. I would remind you always go check the Apex sales and deals. I mentioned Enfield's they have Enfield holes I bought a couple of these checksy with the quality of this batches There is nothing wrong with the holes. You're still going to need the you know follower and the spring but if you got a damaged hole Buy one of these, clean it up, repaint it with standard Krylon enamel, and put all your guts into that magazine. Double plus good, thumbs up, you're done. So just a heads up, I've had people asking about Enfield. The Enfields used to be as cheap as the Mausers. They're not so much, but also ammunition is not as common because the 303 has been an orphan round for a very long time. It's not obsolete, I don't want to get shot with it. but it is one of those rounds where you're not going to see much in a way of surplus, it's got to be new ammunition. The good thing is, the preview part is on. You can get brand new 303 British, go right into that number 3 mark 1, or forgive me, that number 1 mark 3, get it right Mark, or the number 4 mark 1, or the jungle carbine number 5, take your pick, whatever, or a Lee Medford rifle, and they work new, fresh ammo, which is really good. So, you wind up with one-star brass to re-use. Yeah, and it's sized brass to the rifle, marked for the gun in the box. And when you reload, remember you only have to throat resize that. Yeah, thank you. Again, that's a big plus. And the preview part is on, guys, it's comparable to or superior to a lot of the American ammunition that's out there. So, in PPU, I'll hug you if you give me a box of that. and uh... well maybe not a lot but i i thought you want but if you throw me another box you're not going to get a lot okay unless well maybe it's a bit like that would give you a lot so uh... let's see last at least for almost the top here uh... apex does have a lot of other parts of command they just got a big shipment i had been called to the whole list but if you're looking for a k a k forty seven a k seventy four air fifteen sent me a fail which case these these golly old like about uh... any of the auto loading or bolt-action rifles and they do have a lot of marksman's parts for unique guns uh... you want to go through some stuff is just god-awful outrageous price and i wouldn't touch it with your money well yeah i couldn't because you wouldn't give it to me but uh... on the other hand again they do have a lot of other parts out there that nobody else has they've got day will parts In fact, if you need a Daewoo barrel, and I know somebody who does, might be listening, somebody who does, they just asked me about what, a week ago, guess what, they've got barrels. And they have them in, oh, whoa, wait a minute. Well, if you want to change your rifle over to 7.62x39, they don't have the .223 in stock that I can see. They have them 7.62x39, that is kind of unique. But if you are interested in doing that and for Ralph, if you are listening, they have them over at apexgunparts.com. I know we have a damaged muzzle. Can't be fixed. Could be shortened, but you don't really want to do that. If you do, you're going to have to rethread, which we may do anyway because barrels aren't cheap for the day will. but they do have all of the other small parts and pretty prices are reasonable not great but reasonable so if you have to put a rifle back online because you've worn parts out they do have they will parts over at apex gun parts dot com apex gun parts dot com when they put it if they built it some six to buy thirty nine they never brought that many of those and uh... that basically put them in a k category obviously And the Daewoo has the best features of the AK and the AR-15 combined and it's actually an excellent rifle. I wouldn't hesitate to give you one of those. Again, I would hug you for that. I would easily carry a Daewoo parallel to an AK any day and the Daewoo really is a little bit up on the AK in several areas. So that's why they won't let our allies, the Koreans, bring the Daewoo rifle in. Mark, if I had a choice between the 5.56 and the 7.62.39 and the Daewoo, I'd choose a 7.62.39 every time. Yeah, and I think it's a far superior cartridge. The penetration, you know, you don't get the tumbly tumbly thing, but for me that's a good thing. Right, we're modern battlefield, the thing is guys, guess what, everybody's more and more wearing armor. What we just talked about through this hour. so guess that everybody goes why is the government like going back up to a bigger caliber well they're not fighting uh... five you know five-year-old blind kids you know with a thing i dog now with no body armor wearing tennis shoes they're now looking at having to fight real real nation states and most everybody that is a real nation state has body armor think about that penetration is going to be an issue again real quick doesn't mean you can't do damage to the two to three but it's like all these sci-fi movies If I'm going up against aliens that are five times my size or some BS movie future war, why am I sending everybody back up north, you know, so to speak, to the future with pith ant guns against monsters that are, you know, like five times my size and highly aggressive and very, very fast? I'd be wanting to carry the biggest, baddest, and carry as much ammo as I can. In fact, it's all I'd be carrying. uh... there's much ammo as many mags and uh... many rifles into the future that would be bigger bore so that i can hit a once and tear body parts off are superior to say just using a five five six think about it they don't do that in fact it's all that you got out of the blade spray guns how about i should have walked that would be bad would it moved dead boom dead will never get or never get all that kind of cool Yeah, but that wouldn't be great for the movie because you got to have this overwhelming force you just can't handle. Now where all the GE miniguns go to? That's another one that bothers me. Anyway, so we're at the top for everybody out there.
