Now like for me if I order this in Illinois I'd probably have to pay tax on it which is a used car in most places. Or the first born male child, right arm, left nut, stuff like that. Okay here's the deal. Palo Alto, Illinois. Yeah. Yeah, that's in Illinois. uh... but here's the deal you set about turnic it so this is the better quality tourniquet uh... you can use it with one hand uh... and the prices well i don't know how you can do much better deal for two to three dollars on the pond clean on what you do well this riddle thank you for helping to put it in a i had a chance because we already talked to several people and everybody is agreeing what we want to do is is may have probably two three four hundred uh... block it whereas what i'm going to do it set up like i said everything up give you your bag air here's your pick sheet you know and just what you do is put a sheet right next to it take four of these take one of these take two of these take four of these you know right next to the pile and do it like a do it like a worker and I'm getting ready to answer ask you anyhow have you got that pick sheet figured out because see my problem is mark when I look at these uh... When I look at blowout kits or medical, I like to put everything with the kitchen sink into my blowout kits. One of the things, okay, remember this, okay, the big thing is... I need to make another one, I need to get it figured out, okay? Right, the blowout kit, most people are going one tourniquet, and that's because of cost as much as anything. However, in reality, if you... See, we got this debate years ago about how many turnigates should you carry. Well, actually as many as you can afford. The medic is going to do that. Personally, I would say, like we're talking compress bandages, we carry three automatically no matter what. That's mandatory. I make that... If you're going into the field with me, I know where each one's going to be because your kit will be exactly like mine. uh... with the tourniquets at least two and there's a reason because we always you know it's your story you you got to two-holstered you know to skip this and you got one tourniquet to share well i got to happen uh... of course there again they can also be got your butt peppered with something and you got a bullet wound in two out of the all three out of four arms well you're a more one target but that's why i said do you have to know the thing that we're right now the big deal is you carry a primary tourniquet that should take care of most of what you're dealing with and then in most of the block gets everybody has learned to carry the rubber baby buggy bumper rubber bands the big heavy ones uh... there are just a little bit of a left-eye is material and that is you know layered they aren't rolling at their layering it like you know like you're like you're doing candy ribbon you know one layer back in layer back and layer back and they're all it's a perpetual peace so how are a lot longer needed you use but you finish the world you pull it tight which means you're going to choke it off you're not going to be rock on a loose it up either though uh... you know that little uh... piece of elastic that you like when you go in to give blood or they take a blood that would have what this is like it's only that what is that about them that shop med that for like a dollar or less that's that's where i'm getting them mad because again i want to a fairly good size role they have all the basic as i think shop med that the the the best thing is to drive find the best price on tourniquets and i think you did right here because i have seen any better and i've been watching those patiently for the last couple years we did have a couple of deals and i mentioned on the air all the listeners bottom before i could even get back in there uh... and all they did cuz even said while we had this rush and all of a sudden they're gone uh... well while other people well here's the only had i everybody tell me the same thing people have bought lots of stuff to put leaky holes in people okay there's more ammunition out there that most of the first top armies have right now we've got more weapons than all ten of the top armies out there right now inside the u.s. in our hands but i think and this is what some of the people are agreeing as people are shifting now to the other components that we've been preaching about for years i know why no for instance couple people have had somebody waddling and buy everything and people have no further a someone came in they bought everyone of these bags the only reason you need it doesn't fit me mags it's a medical bag they just came in bought every one of them they made a deal uh... the famous true with even medical items some items just went to their bond and it's because you've got people like i said counties not now here's another one we haven't talked much about what we have talked about guys the states are getting ready to go to war the states are getting ready to go your your biggest if you thought it was bad before when you have to compete with each other for ammunition understand the throw weight of institutions and the fact that they can walk through and clear the place out like sherman's march to the sea this happens in wartime all the time we haven't had a big in desert dust part one guys it when everybody realized their ass was going overseas and we put four hundred thousand men in a matter of of a couple of months into one area of the planet i had to set up uh... stores extensions of radar company all over the country on all these bases and i had the wholesalers dumping equipment to the troops because the army couldn't get it but then the army did finally go out and they just purchase swept everything because they didn't have enough and because none of their manufacturer would keep up or could get it to him soon enough so what they did is what they've always done they went into the private sector and they grabbed everything that they could get now we already started that i'll fit in more units going overseas company-strength unit top to bottom with all the garbage that the military should have had and they just sold to uh... to surplus uh... hacks all over the country and i knew where they were Couple of them, like I said, are out of business because of what happened on 9-11. But in 89-90, what happened is these guys, nothing that they needed was there. No bayonets, no canteens, no water bladders, no carriers. Most of them didn't even have proper web gear. I've seen that before myself. That's how I got into surplus when I was in the military. I went out and purchased for pennies brand new equipment while they were issuing to us rags. And you know what they were pissed as hell. Where did we get that gear? Because I took the whole damn platoon and outfitted them brand new with stuff that was going out the back door and I spent a couple of dollars per man. Well you know, you gotta understand Mark, I realized probably 10 years ago that a lot of them learned about you in the 90s. I'd probably be a hell of a lot better off as far as being equipped because I missed on a lot of deals just because I didn't know better. Well, it's like ammunition, let me think about it. Yeah, but there's people on ammo that invested back in the 80s, retired, and if it weren't for that that mammal they bought, they'd be screwed. General Motors screwed their employees, every retiree since George Herbert Walker Bush. was hockey park right from the beginning through their they cut their medical and have picked up their pensions and have they stole all of their their long-term retirement uh... uh... investment mostly and they let him do it then it was the equator clinton work hand in glove with the auto companies to screw their employees you know what they've the ones that were listening to one terrible you're crazy are the guys who bought garage full of ammo Yeah, oh and by the way they also bought crates of SKS's because they were working for Ford GM or Chrysler They were making money hand over fist. Well mark I would like to real quick get back to it and edit it for us now. We're talking about two tourniquets probably at least and Like I said the tourniquet deal I've just told you about I don't know where you're going to beat that when you look at when you see what the quality is That's good enough to save your life and you can do it with one hand. Okay? The other thing is you talked about compressed bandages, at least three compressed bandages. Now is there anything else you want to talk about for this? Oh okay, we want to, okay just a quick off the top of my head. A couple of three, you want two, three by however many foot rolls of standard gauze that we can. but uh... you want for at least although i feel i'm just have three but i like to put four of the two-inch by thirteen-foot roll gauze now remember we've talked about this year probably not going to you you may not use the three-inch uh... for roll gauze to wrap a wound guys what what we're talking about it from the get-go these are used as plugs the police sophisticated there's all kinds of new stuff they've got one that like a pet a pampeck injector that is full of bald absorbent wound dressing with a quick clot and there's another one that they got you inject it right into the wound as you push it you pull it out and all the material goes right into the wound channel and swells up immediately and is starting absorption and and you know to clot the blood now that's the most sophisticated but they're outrageously priced and most people just can't afford to do a lot of them but even if you had that guys you're not going to have enough of them So, the basic rule is you don't know what kind of wound you're going to end up with, and so while that's really cool for, oh, probably 60% of your through and throughs, or any of them for that matter, if there's a direct wound channel. the biggest problem you've got and why you need versatility is that you may need to use one of those as a plug and still need a wrap to hold everything in place or you may need again multiple front and rear because you're not going to get through the whole depth of a like a torso hit you're going to push as much as you can in the front push as much as you can in the back and you're going to cap that off with uh... for instance what i like uh... to of well two three inch four of the two-inch two or three it's a matter of personal flavor there of the abdominal size wound dressings and you can get really cheap very good quality over it shop med vet in the by the case i just got uh... i think it's a case of sixty four eight mike ten for uh... or was it uh... sixty four or four eight dollars and ninety cents karat shop med vet in their seventy percent discount uh... i've got a multi other battle Yeah, they had some 8x10s in there where you could buy 50 of them for like $5 and something. And again, the only difference is, remember, they'll see abdominal, but if you'll notice, guys, there's different dimensions. The reason I like the 8x10 is because you've got more stuff to work with. You've got to apply by the 5.99 and a lot of the iFacts give you the 5.9, which is the smaller one. But we're more reliable by nine for practically nothing as well, and we're talking sterile here, too Yeah, that's the other thing is that they're sterile and non-sterile Again the also packing remember durability and packing I'm going with a cheaper Because these I facts are being pre-packed so the dock is going to have six eight or ten of them on hand These are the stack packs that's why i'm looking at these they know i'm ever worse real quick to the little bit will be for the copy our here did you ever come up with the deal for those medical baggy talked about a week or so you know what they are given a chance because we have been on the move this weekend i might have an email on that uh... but as a matter of fact let me drop something here go you know that we're not i fact bags but you know i could pull you out there My wife's about ready to disown me because we have a like a table here in the living room in front of the couch. It's really boxes of medical from ShopMedVet.com with a towel laid over and that's what we're using for like a coffee-type table. Well, it looks like people sleeping on MREs, you know, a pallet full of MREs basically makes one nice, you know, box frame. I've got two or three big cubs of my homemade bandoliers and my homemade fanny packs in here. And my wife's about ready to disown me because we've got a little walkway through the house, you know, and that's about it because all the rest of it's stacked. Well, one of the, okay, just a recommendation, the 35, 30 gallon, 25 gallon wide mouth barrels. uh... you can find under food grade they died they're not toxic they don't have a smell i've been picking them up for a little fifteen dollars a piece but you know you pay as you know twenty five until reasonable for them what i had to refine those mark how can i find a little go to try using face book and searching there to see who's got something in the outlying area i'll tell you what you're at war i'll close you to chicago oh i'm i'm where i'm a southern illinois i'm two hundred fifty maulter while you're good you're safe i've better be a direct but uh... gas away there's problems the weather it here any one of the metropolitan areas course you you what were you probably you'll probably run into a pickle barrels uh... when you go farther north here like around the bay city area uh... fifty and sixty gallon or large mouth or torpedo i love the torpedo types good rifle that right it will be buying hundreds of them for years uh... the i don't know why they build the boy to do but they're there's two different containers and both refer pickles the one is long enough it'll hold a grand rifle comfortably or like a local you could get their their usually like five ten dollars a piece and they've usually got thousands of them outside the plant okay now these other barrels are used for neutral aggregate uh... different types of delicate and whatever but for like hospital or food grade they're not and they're not contaminated i think i throw all virgin material also their bag and which is what i do if you use a barrel no matter what you're using twenty gallon twenty five gallon thirty gallon thirty fives or even if you go bigger your reason fifty five which i use for quantity stuff like blankets long john's things of that nature uh... what you do is line it with one or if you're more rich do put two of the standard industrial all leaf bags the real heavy heavy gauge bags best quality eighty gallon bags of time yeah put those in to make one those to the side and then pack everything up and again of you know diaphragm you know real roll up the top and feel them when you've got everything solid pack Now I do that with everything. I do that with medical, I do that with clothing. We do that, and I've done that for years, even with ammo. Okay, we've got ammo, we've got the camp, and we're here, we've got one of the 50 caliber plants you're not supposed to know about here in Michigan. And they have the barrel, you ever seen the munitions barrels of loose 50 caliber loaded ammo? no sir i have not all my goodness uh... out now i know what was being moved around a certain pallets and certain warehouses because now i know what to look at from even a different there are unique can they're like a paper cup and their cheap up here i can get uh... i've been we've been putting right back in a more was originally in a because they're designed to hold the weight their heavier than if you were to load of the way they are you hear are moving it without mechanical you can't move my hand five well known i bet more than that was it it's it's it's actually their way that by the pound it's exactly what they do with plastic explosives and they also do this with bomb uh... uh... fuses with uh... again and uh... come on blasting caps what people think you know you while you have the parrot about plastic gas we're supposed to be but you know they have blasting caps in pallets kid bimson and just dump them in and then they're sorted at the packing plant at another location. The C3 and C4 comes in paste and it's literally in tanker trucks. Now, guess what? The ammunition, they just comes off the end of the production line for the heavies and they just drop it right into that barrel, I mean literally, and when they're done, they cap the barrel, take it to the second point and open it up and then that's where they either they link it or pack it, you know, for issue so these cancer out there there's a ton of different places that have all the different containers and in this case like i said the uh... what i've been doing for instance is uh... red cap i get a red cap thirty gallon barrel it's perfect because it's a with with of the barrel the advantage like when we got med that would be exceptional for really big boxes most everything will fit whole box into those barrels so what i do when i do the five hundred counter thousand counter eight hundred calic like the paper was talk about the later rolled into the take to the to the box are a little fit those will fit right in the center of the barrel and then all the other stuff that you're ordering from shop med vet i read but i don't read baguette don't take it out of the original container but i use industrial uh... industrials applaud bags have engaged back to the check you got we got a factory nearby that does work they probably throw them out every day by the thousands powerful off the raw map mark we've lost all the quality factors we had we've lost everybody even a little manufacturing site the world opening to do is check to see if you got some kind of school all of uh... creatives uh... art supply in the area that's done by somebody private that we have a bunch of them here and that are across bottom of the state and they get the stuff from the warehouses from the from these fights and if anything they normally throw away that they have a lot of and that's another source for the bags because they'll have pallet bins full of the bags just loose they're not stacked up they're not brand new but they're virtually real one-time use and in most cases it's sterile material so when they open up the bag just you know through it in the box to pay for the the place that they donated to the stuff is like virtually new i have to look for some of that because i would love to find some uh... fifteen or thirty gallon rums you know with with removable replaceable pop where do you want the plastic because those are effect remember they were they look just like the fifty five with your scale down yeah i have a have the carry handle left and right now i've followed unless you do something really weird like for instance i did just get a part of the uh... probodyne you know the i'd i'm that with that price i cleared out shop medvet okay i bought every walled sixteen-ounce container that they had to go to the other guy yet idea that i can walk into the devil mind now that all got divided and there's six containers per barrel in addition to the dressing so if the medical smocks in fact i will remind everybody shot med that ninety nine thousand two dollars and fifty seven four most grubs over and then i don't know a lot of the a lot of you people you better look at her because there's also a lot of other quote then they have the warm-up shirts uh... extra-large which is perfect as a total stretch to a two-ax and will go on anybody else smaller but it's like i think what is it twenty or twenty four pieces it was ridiculous price it's a comfortable like about a dollar something a piece there blams or whatever uh... you're getting a whole lot of clothing that you can put on anybody's hands for nothing for a yellow thing you have to do when you go to shop med that people you gotta take the time to go to every stinking every paid but yes one line at a time and also if you see something pay attention to the quantities i had couple people so well that's only like six to a box six to a box times how many to a case rewooded says all and it's like ninety six pieces or whatever and that some people grossly underestimate how much they're getting Well, because it's still, okay, Shop Med Vet, the prices are fantastic. Even their regular prices, it doesn't have to be the discount, are excellent for volume work like we're talking about doing. But I won't say... Well, you remember when they had the IV sets for nothing? I told you about that here about, oh, what, last year? Those IV sets for nothing? Yeah. Like 50, 35 to 55 cents a piece? well all it was they were out expired on the due date but they were still filled in their inner sterile pack or i i i have thousands i've got a little bit out of a area they drop about a tenth of a piece or did they you know they don't know what i mean that i don't know that the eighty percent off section okay completely gone but i don't know how to get somebody came in and made a deal on all of that that's what happened Somebody came in and said, well, I want to look in there. They do have what's called for educational training. Right. Once in a while, they'll slide some of that stuff sideways into that. But, but anyhow, I wanted to ask about the blowout kits and those bags. And because I've got to do something to organize what I've got, I've got stuff all over the place and it's unorganized. Now, the blowout kits should be in a single quick either to rip care open like they've done or you know, one zip arc. you know and you can't get to it that's why they put it on the you know everything's up to what you pull on that plate everything kinda comes out because like you said you're probably doing it with one hand the first rule here is for everybody remember we're in combat everybody's fighting to stay alive the best way to keep you alive is to win the fight so that means you're going to be everybody has to stay focused on the fight Now if you're wounded, if you can do anything for yourself first, don't worry. Your battle buddy, if he's still alive, is going to do what he can for you. But if not, either one of the other team members or the doc is going to be dealing with it. But anything that you can do to slow things down... is going to work now let me point out i'll work but what were the top it don't bring the music up on a point something out here years ago i'll tell you one of the tricks that i know that some of the sf guys were using they would so the tourniquets into their uniforms okay in other words a right up around just around the upper part of the arm under the armpit they info and in fact they had until that they would swivel and they had a of they would do a flap over them so that you couldn't mess up the turnbuckle or hook it they would put one of these on the upper leg they would put one of both upper legs and then they would also put one on top of each arm someone so far as to also put one right at the top of the uh... cap and these were shown into the uniforms because you have a bit people were going on the middle of bf e you know while the camodia uh... egypt there's guys that are dropped in the job out in the middle of nowhere of the fine i was notorious that nobody would go to the finite because of the land of landmines largely what i mean to be a little tourniquet for the price you have to share with you earlier that's the perfect tourniquet to sell in the unit that's the one you could afford to do yes yeah for what they did it in box yeah they did it leave a little flight leave and they had a so that you know the clear clothing was not going to restrict everything about it we have to tell their work with stop so that was even that was no that's no no no no interference of what you're doing anyway now it's no guarantee that you're going to be where you need to be like i said that's why some did the cap to do because lower leg injuries are really the toughest could actually got hit in the leg guys there's not a whole lot of places that just flesh it's bone and tendon that's why i said when i have one guy headed bullet go right through the side of the top of his leg right at the height top of the boot it went straight through and didn't hit anything and you know how impossible that shot would be nor you could try and do it you try to put up next to your leg but a gun next to your leg and shoot yourself in the leg You hear that that bullet went through the top of the book cookie-cuttered it out went through the sock went through that's where everything front and back didn't bust a bone didn't didn't sever the tendon didn't sever the tendon channel Didn't cut an artery it went right through and out the other side and you know on into another object But it went through the whole top of the boat and the only reason I think that it really did it the way it did it was a cart mouth of hollow point The only reason that it didn't work, I think what happened was when it hit, the leather plugged the hollow point. Because it went right to the top of a T-90 series combat boot. I looked, looking right at it, and it went like, whoa! that's kind of fascinating and you know but no it's just the idea that you know you'd knowing where it was you got to think you're right away cut you're going to be busted bone you've got an artery the first thing you do is you're pushing the person back to flatten them out because you got to keep you know you got to keep the table you're going to start treatment for shock before shock hits and none of that up there we were at the miracle i mean seriously it's one of those shots you wanted a million you couldn't record repeat otherwise you get it lower leg you look at your leg feel it how many places are there down there where you got flesh? And especially when you go through the leg, because you've got a guy, that bone down there is going to be tagged if you're hitting something like that usually. A lot of guys have half moon divots in their bones down there if they got hit, where it doesn't fill back in. They might reinforce it with a plate or a stirrup, but otherwise, if you do an x-ray, I know a couple guys, check this out, he's got like a crescent moon cut out of the bone. because it went right straight through. Of course it also cut an artery almost, almost bled to death. That's another person entirely different. Anyway, that's where the cheap turn, the tourniquets though work. Because I don't know where you're going to find a tourniquet you can use with one hand for two dollars and substance delivery. Exactly. And again guys, pollution is not just complaining about the drop. Yeah, we're talking about medical life. Because we've got to keep everybody alive. Putting bullets down range, that's not hard. You know how to keep your from leaking out all that radiator fluid? That's work. Yeah. God bless the republic. Death to the new world war. Clothing does not go into the grave. We used to have burial traps. we used to do simple crude clothing, sackcloth, whatever. Clothing went back to the family because it was valuable. You have been pampered for so long with so much that you have no understanding of the value of real things. Last forever, and most of them barely are built to any standard that we used to apply. And so socks, underpants, t-shirts, pants especially pants pants it go find a deal on pants anywhere if you go to a yard sale i made a deal this weekend uh... for for twenty before for clothing items for a dollar all my ties camouflage mostly uh... kryptech i get kryptech camouflage for for a dollar because somebody who's goodbye and do Now the quality of the stuff was Cabela's type and all the other fun names, and you'd recognize all of them. But at four for a dollar, I grabbed everything that was decent and as heavy a gauge as possible, and it all stayed right on the hangers and it went right into the inventory. So if one of you show up, you're not going to be bare-ass naked in rags. Instead, we can take care of both ourselves or whoever else. Now guys, you can all do this, and it doesn't cause any...
