Summary
Mark Koernke discussed the chaotic U.S. military withdrawal from Afghanistan, criticizing the abandonment of allies and destruction of supplies left at the base. He covered preparedness topics including medical supply sourcing at ShopMedVet.com, fuel pricing strategies, diesel storage additives, oil conservation and recycling, field cache construction with cooking equipment, and AR-15 spare parts prioritization. Extended caller segments addressed revolver acquisition options (Smith Model 10, Taurus, Arms Corp, Rossi alternatives) given inflated prices, parts sourcing from JGSales and GunPartsCorp, and ammunition/MRE deals from various suppliers.

He took off his three-cornered hat. Speaking low to me, he said, we fought a revolution. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate. And your Christian values can't be taught. According to the state you read about the current news in a regulated press and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold you trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame you trade it in your name You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctrine so their children will be married. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As Iowoki vanished in the mist from whence he came, his words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as Tyrant trampled each god-given right, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Is this still the land of the free? Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. This is the evening intelligence report I have, R. Kurnkey. one day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters both on and behind the lines that occupy territories southwest north northeast and south ladies and gentlemen you were listening to us on libertytreeradio.4mg.com, Liberty Tree Radio and Satellite, and we are on AM&FM microstations, CB base stations, and UltraNet Hallmark and Golden Spike technologies east and west of the Mississippi along with Alaska. It is 805 PM Eastern Standard Time. It is Monday evening. It's July and is wet outside. I mean, it is. We just got it down for an hour. Some blue sky poking through, but this storm front is coming from the north. So heads up. It's heading towards the middle of the Midwest. You guys are going to get whatever we got. Anyway, it is the 13th year of open Fabian socialist and Soviet socialist occupation. America with a 2021 older calendar 2021 battle for the Republic dance of sorts. Apparently one of the really dirty things that our US government personnel did when they abandoned the airbase in Afghanistan here over the weekend and they did it all at once no announcements they just unasked the AO shut the power off and ran for the plane. the base without notifying, for instance, local commanders like the Afghan army, the new Afghan army, that's your ally, the people that, yeah, they put a uniform on because the US government said, yeah, we're going to be here forever and you're going to be our buddies and we're going to take care of you. When they shut the power off, they opened up all the coolers and freezers for all the deep storage food that was there piled up so they could ruin it. Yeah, this is really kind of a real special on the part. You know, you're gonna leave your allies a message. Let's see. I mean, first of all, let's understand something. Okay, we're leaving Afghanistan, you know, because of policies established in the district of criminals, right? And it's not because we're, I think, exing the allies we created over there per se because, well, one of their real, we don't like these guys, we don't like those guys. Instead, they just kind of were told, hey piss in the pool anyway you can and by the way, you know, here, do this. Maybe the base commander thought this up on his or her own. Maybe it's some quadriplegic homosexual Eskimo, you know, with pedophilic tendencies. You know, in other words absolute minority slash, you know, maybe a female who is a male who thinks it's a lesbian female. You know, that kind of garbage. You can have, remember, 27, 38, 56 different sexes, and they're all in uniform right now, okay? So anyway, if you didn't see the videos of this, it's quite fascinating because, again, there's nothing to explain why you would do that. Aren't they your allies? By the way, let's point something out. The same allies, okay, let's think about this, the Air Force unasked the AO there and tried to frag everything that they could. They did not leave an ounce. They did not have a transfer of the flag ceremony. You know, guys, you ever been in a base where we have foreign powers in charge? What do you do? You remember? You traditionally, what's done? There is a transfer of the flag, a transfer of the facility. There's usually a glad handing, a sur- you know, there's units on both sides standing there. One salutes the other, they surrender the base flag to the other group, and then you leave. They didn't do that. In the middle of the night, they shut the power off, ran like hell for the, you know, planes and the equipment, left everything laying right where it was. If you have not seen the reports, they left small arms and ammunition laying around. They just left stuff around. The Iraqis, or for Iraqis, if you want to do that, we probably did the same thing to them, we just did here 90% of that. But with the Afghanis, they came in and found everything just empty, okay? So they took everything over, they're occupying it with minimal force, they don't have so many men, and This wasn't anticipated. So now they're in the place, they're doing whatever. But why I can understand, or why I would say I can understand why anybody would want to be an ally to the Idiot Stick American government, and this is a classic example of end of the Vietnam War, so to speak, on this case, it's the end of the 100 year war scam. Remember we're going to be at war for 100 years, we're going to be up there in Afghanistan, and we're going to blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And instead, just to reverse, it's classic end of the war, Vietnamization, everybody heading for the tarmac and running like hell. It's exactly what they just did. You haven't seen any of the raw footage, ignore most of the tripe that's done on the canned media. Go look at the raw satellite footage that's out there that's been posted or the stuff done by, you know, for instance, I think, in fact, it's interesting. In the one case, wow, of all places, the Chinese are showing everybody, hey, look what they did here. Wow, now this is a South Asian news service, okay, so could have been Vietnam, could be whoever. But the footage is phenomenal and it speaks for itself. Again, here you got all these rows of walk-in, you know, freezers and coolers. They left the doors all open intentionally and one of them you've got piles of food literally right to the door spilling out the door and flopped onto the ground. Remember they shut the power off intentionally. So it also compromised total perimeter security. You know, we're worried about them. They're Kelly Van and you know them Taras Yeah, my ass. Lions sacked the BS cross the board But of course they left a whole bunch of stuff just laying around too and the inventory isn't even complete yet and they don't know how much got walked away with because other people were paying attention to the government ours running for the planes jumping off the base and without letting anybody know and other people probably walked in and feel for the whole bunch of stuff. And maybe that was part of the setup to hand the stuff over to people that will what, undermine the Kabul government? Oh, it's just like the end of Vietnam too, isn't it, remember? Yeah, remember all those goodies they just left laying around. So heads up on that one anyway. Again, it's all around the other side of the world. Nothing we can do about it except point out that there's why you don't listen to nor trust anything you hear from the mouth of these turds or any of their meat puppets run out of the district of criminals. Especially once we get into a ground conflict. Well, they made a promise. They're gonna... Yeah, right. You believe that? Are you that much of an absolute ink idiot? You gotta have... You'd have to have your head stuffed so far up there, ours, that if they had a sphincter movement, your head would pop up like a pimple into their bowels. And that kind of stupid. I don't want to be murdered in me. Anyway. As it is, a couple of things. Now, I didn't mention ShopMedVet.com. ShopMedVet.com. www.shopmedvet.com. There are some phenomenal deals on medical garments, but also, I mean everything, anything and everything you can imagine there. But one of the things, there have been a number of surgical tools. I know I had a couple of emails on medical support asking about surgical kits, et cetera. Guys, go over to ShopMedVet.com. But first, if you got a list, a shopping list for major emergency trauma surgery, They've got spreaders for nothing in there by comparison with the normal price is there and they're cheap at shop Medbet.com But the discount going to the 70% 80% discount chest or wound spreaders Probes a little bit of everything for sits clamps you name it. It's there just too numerous to mention right here right now. I Did clear out most of the probes. I will say that all of the wound channel probes, especially The ones with the, you know, 45 degree and 35 degree tapered head. A lot of those are gone. I got them. Okay, you'll see why when you see the price. But those go into the forward area surgery and evaluation kits and they're priceless. But these are German. The ones that they had there are German. Or is that German? Is it Ger or Ger? Well, anyway, they're Deutsch. So you will like them. Okay. Another thing, every time you place an order with ShopMedVet.com, as a policy, I want you, if you can, if you're going to be doing other things, at least pick one case of rolled gauze cheapest available and one case of cheapest available two buys, three buys, or four buys in dressing. There's all kinds of less expensive available there. I'm really happy with the two inch roll gauze I got. I think I got like 880, no, 860 pieces in a box. These are all individually wrapped. I wasn't expecting that because sometimes they just come bulk. These are individually wrapped. They're now being subdivided to go into blowout kits because I would have used them as backups, as like the supplemental. But these are perfect along with other items for setting up auxiliary blowout kits that are packed up in the Ziploc bag. They go into a carrier when you pick which one you want to use. And you've got a bunch of spares, okay? But the shipping is $10 unless you get over $100 and it goes to $5. And if you go $200 worth of stuff, it's free shipping. But the shipping is so cheap for, and remember that's dollar amount. So let me point something out on that. If you haven't ordered cases of the medical dressings and like 96 count rolls to a case, that's a lot of volume and it's still flat rate and it can be hundreds of pounds. I had 200 pounds worth of stuff, including dressings, compresses, gel packs for burns. And it came to $10 shipping and I bought under $100 worth of stuff, but it was all when it was on sale. Plus I had a discount coupon. So instead of it being a couple hundred dollars, it was only about I think $98, but it was two full crates almost so big I couldn't wrap my arms around the boxes. Okay, around the box, individual box for each of them. The price just can't be beat for this stuff. And again, if you're looking at building up forward area medical or a retreat, You're going to want a surgery slash a medical room. You want to do something where you have an examination room with the ability to do surgeries or anything else. If you've got med personnel or you have to do it yourself. Bottom line is you need an area set up. Well, guess what? If you're trying to stock it, ShopMedVet.com www.shopmedvet.com is the place to go. www.shopmedvet.com. And again, I'll remind you, the gloves, go to the work glove section, take a look at the stuff for a dollar a pair of people. You can't beat the prices with this stuff. And the blue gloves alone, the gauntlet gloves, go look at the price on those normally, and then realize you're getting them for a dollar a pair. I have two pairs sitting right next to me right now. They're going into another decon kit. Why? Because this is exactly what I'd want and the kind of D-Con kit I'm sitting up, it's perfect. I mean, we're not talking kind of sort of, it's exactly what I wanted. Except I'm not paying $20 or $18 or $16 a pair. $1 a pair. You can't beat that. Anyway, there is a bunch of other stuff there available and it's too numerous to mention. You got to go a page at a time, through each section at a time and you got to keep notes. Put a little notepad down, grab a pen, take notes, and make sure that again you kind of benchmark where you are. If it's something that you're really thinking you're going to order, put it in your cart and then go through the cart once you've got everything added up. And if you've got it back off, make note of what you have to come back for that you think is the second priority as opposed to first priority. And then do a follow-up order when you have the money. But take the time and get into this. Medical is hypercritical. Food, water, ammunition, medical support. Communications is right up there too as we've also talked about transportation. Now another thing on that. I don't know what your area is like but where we are here we are seeing goofy roller coaster prices on gas. However, it is still ridiculously high in my area. And right now, I can travel a fairly short distance. If I'm traveling around to visit some of you, you know what's going on. We're taking care of all the stuff like we did over the weekend. I paid $0.40 less a gallon for gas than where I live. And the area where I was located used to be one of the cheapest spots on the I-94 corridor on the eastern side of the state there, at least for the most part. Unfortunately, I think we've had so many arborites move into our area that it's changed the demographics and therefore, you know, changed the scale for, again, the pricing scale. So, I don't even buy gas. I'm not even buying gas in the area right now. It doesn't make sense. If I go any point of the compass, north, south, east, or west, I can find whole areas right now, 30 cents and 40 cents cheaper per gallon. You need to pay attention. When you start saving that amount, if you need to go visit Uncle Bob like we were talking about to set up your retreat, find out where all the prices are and guess what? When you're going out to see Uncle Bob to check to make sure, hey, is everything okay? I want to do this. Guess what? Don't buy any gas until you get to that end and fill up and you paid for the trip. 40 cents a gallon and you fill up the car, you do the math. Especially if you've got a fuel sipper, if you've got even a mid-sized car or a mid-sized SUV, you're pretty good mileage. So you run it the way you normally would when you're getting down. Well, see Uncle Bob, that's your excuse to fill up the tank. Didn't cost anything. So again, you're multitasking, right? Good thing. Another thing is diesel. And again, we had a lot of discussions on this with diesel for storage. Guys, don't forget, diesel doesn't have some of the problems gas has, but it does have molding issues. There are plenty of different additives, including the military, which made a bunch of stuff that they've sold surplus. Anti-mold, you know, an anti-secondary debris type of stabilizer. It basically, I guess, it multiplies slash breaks down whatever it might be in the fuel, but it also prevents the fuel from gelling or breaking down while it's in storage for any period of time, especially with high, low temperatures. Keeps it uniform flow. That's the most important thing. Burns just fine. Doesn't do anything to degrade the performance of the diesel. Just a reverse, it actually improves. So if you can, you want to invest in some of that, have it on the shelf. And if you're going to be doing any diesel for storage, You don't even have to do a full dose, but you can lightly treat the diesel so that there's a guaranteed time factor extension just in the event you have to keep the stuff longer because you have miscalculated when World War III slash the war for independence was going to take place. And because of that, you always want to have, you know, be able to buy yourself more time on the clock. So again, take a look at some of the technologies out there as far as the additives. They do come in both powder and in liquid form. Now liquid would probably be the most efficient, but powder stores pretty much indefinitely. And that's why the military went with a powder additive for both the anti-mold and enhancement additives. So, excuse me, for what it is that you're dealing with diesel, you want to make sure that you juice it a little bit just for that purpose of nothing else. Just because, just in case. Another thing, petroleum oil lubricant products, oil, oil, oil. Oil doesn't go bad. Once you buy oil, it's yours until you use it. And even after you're done using it, you don't dump it. Take the used crankcase oil, stick that off to the side, and have that in reserve. OK? But in fact, save up your old oil containers that go one way. And don't just pour and then toss those containers. Take the time and do a gravity feed to put one container in keep one underneath this the catch Make a little frame that goes on the wall so you can flip the containers upside down and let the juice of Saffu that's in there the oil Gravity feed into one of the other containers. It doesn't take long to fill up another quart You'd be amazed how much of that fine viscous and very expensive material stays stuck to the side of that container unless you are patient and And since most of you aren't patient, how about we make a device, just a couple of nails, a store bought Dollar Tree funnel, and another container down below, another oil quart or five-gallon oil container that you bought from the store where you used it for changing out the transmission or, or give me, transmission, changing out the oil. for the engine. And when you're done, again, whatever you're going to drop in, if you had other quarts, you get one quart, use it for the catcher. And then you take the others and dump them according and let them just sit and let gravity do the work for you. You'd be amazed at how quickly you accumulate oil that way. Now remember, if you do end up mixing oil in a container, which is not a big deal, you've got hundreds of other applications, hundreds. All of my saw blades, that's what I've been doing every time I handle a saw blade here recently. Immediately, one of the first things I do is I go over it with an oil cloth. I put a few drips of oil on it, and I rub it in to the metal, and that's how it's going to stay until I use it. And even then, most of it will It won't sloth off, but what it will do is distribute and dissipate over the sheet metal structure of say the handsaws. And I have many, many, many handsaws. But I also do, something you may not have thought of, is your regular skill saw blades. Any blades that you have, you need to put a coat of lubricant on them. even if they're just in storage. Why? Well, moisture kills. Entropy is something that exists and will forever. And it's eventual inevitable that the metal is going to start breaking down. Well, you can protract that. You can extend it by just simply lubricating the different blades, your bandsaw blades. your bucksaw blades. I've got a bunch of bucksaws. I got bucksaws for $2 apiece over the weekend at one estate sale. And they're all engineered blades. They're all stuff that I'm going to put right into kits. And I can, every vehicle already has a bucksaw. Every vehicle already has a folding saw. Every vehicle already has a bolt cutter. Every vehicle already has, you know, a shopping list. But I do have a couple other vehicles I'm putting together right now. Plus I want spares. Well, I just got all the goodies I needed to make up the kit so that they got their engineer slash, safer kit, you know, safer kit ready to go. And it didn't cost me anything. I'm not out anything. I actually, I can afford to have the extras or distribute the saws. Now the roughest stuff that I have, it goes out into the field, you know, like the raider caches. I'll have steel grates out there or iron grates out there for cooking over, pans which will be pre-deployed, coffee cups, silverware, and you cash it because you can put it all in one lump. In addition to that, hand tools. I'm not out anything. The tools were going to get thrown in the landfill. The guy was going to, I always go to the freebies first. I ended up with a box full of tools between a couple of different locations, all of them serviceable. and a bunch of other stuff like that. Well, it all gets cleaned up, lubricated, painted if need be, wherever it needs to be painted. And then that's going into, for instance, the field caches. Like I said, a couple of pans for cooking, got lids. Everything is needed, and it's left in a ranger cache so everybody knows that it's one of those way stations out in the middle of nowhere. Everything that's needed is right there. You don't have to bring anything in other than some basics, and obviously it'd be good to have some food. The idea here is that all you do is keep moving, you can stop, it's a breakpoint, it is well secluded, it is chosen for terrain, water is nearby, water is always stored at these locations, and everything is concealed out of sight, out of mind. When you're done, you leave it the way you found it, and on with the mission. So there's another reason for collecting all those extra pots and pans. Steelware, especially stainless steelware, anything that's stainless you grab. Needless to say when you go to some of these caches, they always have plastic here too. Why? Well, plastic stores, well, it doesn't rust. So for utensils and stuff, for once it's working the cooking, all that stuff was free. All of it can go into sealed containers inside sealed containers. It's, again, just cached as in it's either in a corn or put under cover of something. And when you're ready to go, it's ready to go. It's already there waiting for you. I have these all over the countryside, all across this part of the state. So you can move to an area, it's out in the middle of a section, off away from everything. Whatever you need to do, you need to do. And remember, water cashing is especially critical. You can potable water, you're going to need it. Again, if you're on the run because it's in survival escape and evasion mode, you're not necessarily going to cook. as an erasing campfire, but you may still do and you should be able to learn to do a quick boil for water and utilizing what's available in the food cache there, minimizing consumption, you're able to eat, you're able to, you know, stay healthy, you got a place to rest for a bit, and on with the business. Wherever, whatever the agenda admission is, continue with the task. That simple. We're at the bottom of the hour. Tell you what, we need to do some more poker face. So, let's see. Rather die than be your slave. And for everybody out there talking about the door-to-door coronavirus strike force, remember the red-headed stepchild B-Witch that's the press secretary brought up strike forces. They're using their strike forces. Well, strike forces doesn't sound too peaceable, does it? You know as well as I do that it isn't. So they got these strike forces that are in motion her words not mine and Everybody needs to be ready for them and for that reason again poker face rather die than be your slave. Tell you what though your mission Make sure they die first and then you don't die at all and go on and find more of the bastards and kill more of them and win That should be your attitude. We're not going to let them enslave us. They are really trying hard But we're going to have to put the kibosh to that. So again, poker face, rather die than be your slave. That'll be our bottom of the heartbreak. If we can make it, if not, I got to keep talking because it's radio. And we do it on the network, of course. Also, and I want to say thank you because I don't know I'm not going to mention our listener But we had a significant gift that came in as a donation, and I want to say thank you I appreciate that keep an eye on your mailbox. We should be shipping something back that way as the thank you and For anybody who would like to donate to Liberty Tree radio, www.libertytreeradio.4mg.com www.libertytreeradio.4mg.com That's www.4mg.com And when you get there, go to the donate key and you can donate any amount. Of course we do have the Axion red, blue, green rifle sites available, $25 donation per. And we have the eight power binocular with the illuminator underneath, $25 donation. If you could, you go to www.libertytreeradio.4mg.com. And again, what you want to do is where there is a comment section. If you would please, you need to go to the comment slash, you know, it basically is a instruction section. If you want the red, blue, green, put red, blue, green, dash, and then the number that you want. One, three, five, whatever. If you want the monocular, say put mono, M-O-N-O, mono, dash, and then the quantity. Number one, two, five, whatever. And those two codes are easy to understand. It can't get them confused. Red, blue, green, and dash number, and mono dash number, whatever that number is. And then I also, before you leave there, I need a mailing address. And it needs to be there in that notation section. You can't put it anywhere else. So I need the quantities for the red, blue, green, dash, whatever, and the mono dash whatever. And then I need your mailing address. Then you're all set to go. We'll get it out to you as quickly as we can. Got a bunch of stuff that's showing up on the porch right now for everybody. Got a bunch of packages that went out. Also some big ones, a really big one, as a matter of fact. So a very large one. And for our friends that did that, I want to say thank you. And again, we will do everything we can to move as quickly as possible to find some of the other solutions we're asking about. Also, we've had some court requests for certain equipment. Some things, yes, as far as electronics, I can't guarantee anything. I've never seen the electronics arm since the commies took over. It just tells me that we're in the end of the NAFTA GAT scam. We've never seen them so eclectic and stumbling with the electronics. Where they are completely out of inventory and then they have a small burst instead of the usual quantity or any reasonable quantity. Very small amount and then nothing again. And that means that they're choking the system intentionally. So again, they start also jacking the price, which we are seeing. So that's not a surprise. Where we make deals or find that we can cherry pick something, we will. And I will recommend it if I see it. And we'll go from there. On that note, let's see, what was the other thing? Let's see, well, I think we covered the donation well enough. Over on PalmettoStateArmory.com for today, it is the deal of the day. They have 10 PMAGs and a quantity of Tula ammunition, I believe, for about $150. These are, again, PMAGs, it's 10 of them, and ammunition, I'd have to double check the quantity again. Take a look at it and see if it floats your boat and makes sense. ARP mags have been going for about $10 a piece. I haven't seen them below that in a while, but if you've seen them for less, let us know. And again, remember, you still have the shipping price, which I believe, of course, is still going to be on this one too. But there are other items on the deal of the day list that you might want to take a look at. If you're not going to do a 10%, but you wanted lowers, they have a couple of really good prices on BLEM AR-15 standard lowers. with, for instance, one with gray furniture. And both of them, of course, do require paperwork. These are not 10%. These are standard receivers. So you are going to have to go through an FFL. But if you're looking to finish more rifles, and that's just the way you're going to do it, if you piecemeal, you can afford it where maybe you couldn't afford the whole lump sum at once. One nice thing about an AR-15, it's a Lego gun. Buy your red Legos first. Buy your blue Legos second. Put the red and blue Legos together. Blue is the bottom, red is the top, and it's all done. There you go. You got a complete Lego gun ready to go. And that works out pretty well for you. Okay? Another thing about the air is, again, remember spare parts. If you've already squared all your weapons away, the next thing that you need to do... We're going to war. It's not a maybe, not a kind of, not a sort of. They're just trying to jump off without you getting caught flat footed. That's the advantage. They want you to have an idea what's going on. Everybody can see the writing on the wall. Firing pin, extractor and ejector. Firing pin, extractor and ejector. That's especially critical right now. You need to have a second wave of perishable spare parts ready to go. It doesn't have to be a complete bolt if you have both your bolt carrier You can do that you can afford it have a whole bolt carrier ready to go with everything on board Pull the bolt carrier out. You got a malfunction throw the other one in you're done Finish and go work on that other bolt later on and you don't have to fiddle part with anything But if all else fails firing pin extractor and ejector you can carry those somewhere real convenient with you And those are the three first most common issues you're going to find with a breakage or a wear. Go ahead, Collin, we got you. Jeff and... Yeah, this text makes... I was... I've been looking for a revolver because I... I've got some .38 Special I've had for quite some time and I don't have a revolver anymore. But I was at a gun show and it seems like I was looking at some Model 10s But I thought the price they wanted for him was a little much. The average price was $550 for a money-sensitive weapon. Oh, I know. I know. It's the same thing that's happened. Anything that's a traditional standard, usually what used to be bread and butter weapons, are everything's jacked. For the longest time, $75 would buy you a Smith Model 10, then it went to $125, then $150. 200 you could buy up until a little while ago and I don't know what happened but you might remember there was a bunch of these kits that were the arms core you know model 10 copy the model 10 something happened where they blocked them from coming in and again there's no excuse because they're Filipino you know arms cores mostly those are Filipino made and they do really know how to make a model that In fact, they may come on the islands and you swear to God it's an original Smith from 1949, 1960, 1980. They'll build any gun you want and they'll make it from scratch. Well, anyway, the ARMS Corps would be your best choice. They were the last of the import guns that were standard K-frame, bold barrel, round butt, or a Pockmeyer-type grip on our, maybe a square butt. And you can get them in two and four inch. I haven't seen anybody that's carrying them. But that would be your better choice for looking for something that would be about $200, $250. What I think is interesting is that niche is gone. I mean, there's nothing in that price range in a big, I should say, a standard large center bore pistol. You can find a bunch of those Heritage 22s out there. In fact, classic arms, I think, has got probably about 10, 15, or 20 variations. Center fire is the same way. But if you look around, the arm score pistol would probably be your better choice right now. All the leather would fit, the speed loaders are the same. I don't know how many parts are interchangeable. I've never really messed with that. I know there are some dimension differences in certain parts, but for all practical purposes, those would be probably your best bet at the moment, even if you found one used. The Smith name in itself has made it classic. It's collectible text maps. Oh, man. You know and the problem is they really are good guns. I mean they really are they were in fact it was the Chevy forever If you went to Smith Model 10 was like going to buy that Chevy biscuit, okay? It's basic. There's no frills the guns work every time pull the trigger they go boom and That's a good choice on the colt side. It was the official police That was the month gun to go to on their side. It was a cave frame But there's far fewer of those floating around in Colts or even more outrageous than Smiths are. The other option is, like I said, either Arms Corp, maybe a Rossi, Taurus. What about Taurus? Have you looked around to see what's laying around in a Taurus gun right now? I haven't seen many of them, but from what I have seen, I should have picked them up sooner, but I've just kind of decided to pick one up. I could probably for the same price they've got on that mom 10 I can pick up a four-inch stainless 357 in in a in a tourist or yeah I personally I used to be a tourist distributor when they first came in and I carried a model their model 66 for a very long time 16th barrel had four of them any given time They're all cashed in underground now, but those were butter actions. When they first came out, people weren't really sure about them. But torus is Smith and Wesson of Brazil. When Smith changed out its tooling, one of its arsenal plants that was used in World War II basically was in mothballs. What they did is they sold it south, and that's what made torus. That's where Taurus came from. When everybody goes, well, they're like Smith and Wesson. Well, yeah, they probably should be considering it's all their tooling, all their machinery. And so again, the newer guns, all their newer guns are unique. But if you look for like their, although they can't, well, here's the problem. Even some of those guns are now considered collectible because the Taurus's first came out in the 70s in good numbers, late 70s. But if you can find a K frame in any models if it's stainless and it's one of their K frames If that's what you're looking for is a K you can get speed loaders from any number of places JG sales got spade loaders HSK I think for the best price in the country and I wouldn't think twice about carrying a torus I like the guns again. You're looking for a Chevy right you're looking for a shooter Right. Right? Yeah, right now it's a matter of if I can get two guns for the price of one or a brand new gun as opposed to, you know, use, that was the problem of the SKS's. The SKS's have been driven up in price to the point where you can almost buy a whole AR-15 and a 7.62x39. The advantage of the SKS is it is self-contained. But it's a toss-up, you know, whichever direction you want to go. Rossies are out there. In fact, you don't find as many Rossies in the K-frame, but they are out there. The J-frame Rossie, that was their niche. They did a five-inch copy of the, basically all the Smith & Wesson action, Smith & Wesson type action. They did a really beautiful six-inch diamond back type gun. which is like the 38 Colt, you know, instead of the Python, they had the little diamond back, little, it basically looks like a baby Python. La Rossi's in stainless, they did well with their stainless and they did make K frames. So if you see one, maybe for 150, 180 dollars, as long as the timing seems right, that would be a good choice. But I again, there's no Rossi's coming in we know about what happened with Rest of the companies out of Europe not much of anything in the way of revolvers that really is coming in so not like we were in the Taurus Well, they actually I think they even made a couple of titanium guns recently I think about the time that Smith came up with their Model 61, I think Taurus did their knockoff of that and they've got one that's all titanium. Not cheap, but it's still cheaper than that. Well, at least it's no more expensive than that Model 10 for $500. Just kind of crazy. Well... I don't know, like I said, every year it passes. Remember, it's farther than the taillights when they made them. That's the problem. And most of the American companies have been done in by the traders inside the country. So, I mean, what could just happen with Remington? And they did that intentionally to attack the American manufacturing industry while the foreigners like FN, etc., are eating up the market and that money is all leaving the United States. That's why they're doing that. So what we need to do is support, needless to say, we can support an American company, but it's got to be reasonably priced. And there's no reason for the Smith basic guns not to be reasonably priced. Well, you look at the military guns we got right now, you know, what's in our military, like you said, FN, Beretta, Sig Sauer, and there was the other one. There's another foreigner. Yeah, the one that's just got the contract. I'm trying to think of why they can't rattle it off Well, FN has most of it and in fact as it stands FN is got had 76% of all government contracts, which means your tax dollars are going overseas. Oh, no, it's that kind of America. Yeah, my ass It's not FN of America. It's just that's their fate corporation and it all goes back over to Belgium Which means the Jewish mafia filters the money through our tax, tax companies, and it goes to that fake shill they have here and then it goes overseas. The thing is that they just got the new squad gun contract, so they got to have close to 80, you know, maybe 85 percent. And that's all 100 percent foreign manufacturer. And they are not our friends. They are in fact, they hate us. So as far as I'm concerned, again, anytime we can support any of these little guys that are manufacturing like Bear Creek or Paul Meadow or anybody else, I don't care. Everybody pitches about Anderson. But you know what? At least they're made here. I can think of a bunch of others that aren't helping us. Go ahead. I'm sorry. I said that even when I'm talking about Taurus. But Taurus is where if you're looking for a certain tool and toolbox, there aren't a whole lot of American companies making the gun that you want in that category. Right. Yeah, Bob. I was going to say, Six Hour just, you know, they just produced 450,000 of the M17 for the Army. And, you know, they've got like a million plus contract for those pistols. You know, the polymer pistol, the boot, where they went from the Beretta, you know, the Beretta M9, which was at least alloy and steel. Yeah, and interestingly enough, that's going to come back to bite them in the hind end. The well again think about this we're ending up with a better quality gun than they are on the other side It's more durable. It'll be around longer Everything and anything we we can pick cherry pick from the best of the inventory They're stuck with whatever it is the brown envelope bought under the table You know what I mean they slid you know the bribe that they slid under the table. That's how it works The other thing real quick. You know what they still have I don't know if you want to experiment with building a, putting a revolver back together, but they do have the frames at JGSales.com and those were two inch guns, but that doesn't really make any difference. That just means that the pushrod for the extractor is shorter. However, there are model six and model seven barrels for way under $100 over at GunPartsCorp.com. So you can buy the frame from one side, buy a barrel from the other, and it's not that hard to tune the gun up. In fact, to be quite honest, as long as you've got a... It's no different from putting a barrel on a Dan Wesson. The difference is it's pin fixed. Whereas the Dan Wessons are, you know, not torqued down. Otherwise, you just make sure that that jump difference, that distance between the cylinder and the barrel is correct. And that's not hard to do. It's just you got to be patient. Remember, when you don't grind, you lap. And in many cases with the barrels, if you torque the barrel on for test, you will probably find it's so close it may be done. So just a consideration. I found Model 7 barrels, I think they had a couple different models. Remember what I mentioned before, a 5 inch. And I think they had a 4 also. And the 5 inch was actually cheaper at about $40. The 4 inch was running about, I think $67. Now I don't know what those frames are running. I think they're $250 at least right now from JG Sales. But I talked to them and those are... very serviceable. They're Canadian police. They're American made, but they're Canadian police guns that they had to deactivate by taking the barrels off. So that would be a consideration if you're looking for a .38. Go ahead. I'm sorry. But you're saying that those frames were snub nose is what they were saying. They were. No, you can tell by looking at the push rod for the ejector. Notice how short it is. That was built for a, the rod has a shroud with the shorter barrels and even with the Model 10, later models, you have a push rod shroud that is, you know, part of the barrel. Now you don't need that and to be quite honest, I'd be just as quick to buy any of the bull barrels that are standard and torque it onto that frame and they're gonna work just fine. As long as that threading is the same, there's like decades of Smith and Wesson Model 10s. decades, actually, to be quite honest, almost 100 years now. Because I think they're still making the Model 10 in limited production when randomly they feel like it, and it came out, the K-frame basically came out in that particular configuration, the first, which is more like the pre-war 38 Smith and Wesson, what, 1921, 1922, if not a little earlier. in final production because they did do it. They did experimental runs on that. Oh, probably even to the end of World War One. But the end frame was dominant then. And then what happened is, of course, the cops loved the little J frame police positive in the Colt and the Smith counterpart was basically another little J frame. Both of those guns can't take any high pressure if they're the earlier guns. However, all of the barrels that you're looking at right now are modern metallurgy and typically 70s, 80s, and 90s production, mostly 70s and 80s. So they're probably better steel to begin with. You can get bull barrel or you can get the Papered Police Barrel, which usually had the rails, in fact, I'm sure that's what's on the The frame there has the split rail top, which is just the ditch type rear sight. And you just line that up with that little notch up front because it was a belly gun to begin with. Now most of the Model 10 police guns were like that. They didn't have a target rear sight. So putting a 4 inch barrel on that's not a big deal. It'd be normal and you can get a number of different options. I probably, probably opt if you want to spend a few pennies. I get the bull barrel model. It just is going to be a stronger, you know, stronger gun altogether. So that's one way to get a .38 and still cut that price down by a little less than, maybe about half. We'll take a look at what JG wants for the frame. And then go, in fact, I'll tell you what, there's another place to go, apexgunparts.com, apexgunparts.com, apexgunparts.com. Apex has barrels too, but I don't know how many they have left because somebody's been hitting their barrel selection. I mean, they've been selling massive quantities of barrels at Apex. They used to have a wide family of Smith and Wesson and Webley barrels. Somebody came in and cleaned out their Webley barrels and they had a lot of them. I talked to them about that. He didn't want to make a deal but they Somebody swept in and picked almost all of them up and they had hundreds hundreds of one model and they're gone. So Apex and Gun Parts Corp would be your first spot to check and then there might be something over at e-circo, e-circo-link.com. CIRCO might have some right now again too. And then it's just a matter of feeler gauge and again when you torque it down if it you may just screw the barrel on I mean they were pretty consistent you got to remember guys They made so many of those model tens they cranked them out for how many wars we carried them in before World War two carried them during World War II, they used them in Korea, they issued them in Vietnam. Every cop shop in the country at one time or another carried the Model 10 or its counterpart, the Model 19. Both of those are K-frames. The only difference, one is .38, the other is .357 Magnum. But the basic gun is identical. I mean, I love the Model 19. I mean, we talked about that, but because we're talking about the .38. But the pistols are still, the frames are still available at J.B. Sales because they're on the front page and they do have them in stock. So if you want to go pistol shopping, that might be another way to go. Hey Mark. The only other thing, you're going to have to spend money on cross pins. You got to buy, I'd buy three. I wouldn't buy one. Buy three. Go ahead, caller, jump in there. Two questions. Oh, you could ask. Ed would have to answer that as far as I know they were. Okay, next question. Did you say Remington is good? Well, Remington got broken down. Remember, that's where all this stuff came from, like this ammunition and weapons parts about six months ago. Remington was busted up. They had bush master, like the Remington group. Everybody has bought the different components of what Remington had, and they've already been divvied up. So yeah, there's whatever the ghost of Remington is, Apparently, it's going to be moving maybe to either, the announcement is either Texas. I want to see Texas, but I think it might also, maybe Tennessee. That's why there were no 870s running around. Remember that? For a while I was talking about that. Man, you couldn't find an 870. Well, that's because the production line was down. And remember about, what, three months ago, They started one of the production lines back up because some department wanted, I guess the Fed wanted some guns. Well the Fed helped to screw Remington, which I think is fascinating. I'd tell them to go stuff it, even if it were me, but that's just my attitude. Okay, thank you. Put the information mark on one. No, that's okay. That's a good question on that one. Yeah, because Remington, they put them into bankruptcy, they subdivided everything. They already, in fact, oh, well, remember. Oh God, what company was it? CDNN Sports. Remember they had all those Bushmaster parts and I told everybody they were pennies. They were. We bought as many thousands of pieces as we could. But I called the guys and what they said is those parts were from the Bush, the Remington foreclosure where they had to sell out and because they had to stop production, the Bushmaster line stopped. all those parts including they had upper receivers they have for the AR-10 they may still have some of that in stock but it was quantity purchases only and that was over at cdnnsports.com. cdnnsports.com. Guys if you get a chance you might even call them tomorrow see if they have any of that left because they had pins, springs, internal parts of all kinds. They had some bolt carriers and receivers, not lowers, but they did have a bunch of upper stuff. And some of it went out real quick and some of it I was surprised because it was a chunk of change. So somebody was building some .308 rifles because a lot of the .308 first wave went out fast. Everybody, and I know I call, they actually they listed the quantity. They had like 12,000 875 upper receivers and they were not they were cheap, but they weren't cheap if you're like 12,000 of them and somebody came in and bought them all So that means somebody's planning on building about 12,000 AR-10 upper receivers or at least selling a good chunk of it maybe making some themselves or whatever they were going to do they bought them all So that should tell you something and that was through a second party because they've already been auctioned off from the original holding companies, okay Anyway, on this note too, again with the revolvers, guys there's lots of good leather out there. There's all kinds of cop shop stuff still laying around. You can get hold of speed loader pouches. Again, I will emphasize I like the HSK type speed loader. A lot of guys like the Sierra push holders. They're out there too, surplus. But the, but JG Sales has them in any frame. If you need a speed loader for your revolver. go to JGSales.com, JGSales.com, JGSales.com and go over to their speed loaders. You'll find there's a category in there and they have everything. They've got H&R, Speed Loaders, Smith, Colt, Ruger, Ross, everybody I mentioned and then some. So, in fact, I haven't talked about Rugers, but Rugers have been pricey for a long time and the Ruger revolvers, most of the Speed 6 and Security 6 are still going for a pretty good price, but probably less than $500, I would hope. You know what, Tech Max thinks, that's an idea. Look to see if there's some Rugers laying around. The Speed 6 and Security 6 are fine guns. They're just heavier than a brick. I mean, one thing I'd like about them, if you can beat the living snout at somebody and still turn around and shoot them if you finally got around to the cylinder that wasn't empty. Here I have had enough of you and click click click click boom there. I knew I had one left there we go I got it Another thing also guys again as I mentioned before sportsman's guide has some military rations over in the new category They got cakes they got pound cakes in the in the individual pouches. They got the big tray cake the a ration type Kate tray cakes You go take a look at those those are not a bad price. I've paid more for those in the past, but again, nothing's cheap in MREs right now, or for that matter, any military reactions. And that may even be some of the stuff that was sold by Iron Planet here about a month ago. I was looking at some of it, I just got disgusted, because the base price to start out was so high, and it went even higher. It went crazy prices. I couldn't believe some of the prices were paid. Go ahead, caller, jump in there, quick. Real quick, you're talking about pound cake. Major surplus has pound cake. 12 pack assorted for $20, $19.95. That's a better price than sports week, I agree now. And it's the MRE pound cake. Yep, that's good. That works out. Uh-oh. Again, if you can think, guys, thank you for mentioning that. Major Surplus does have a couple other really good buys and some odds and ends right now. Get on their email and pay attention. I know they do cyclic stuff and repeat a lot of things that happen. But watch for their deals. All those vegetarian Italian uniforms are gone. That was the best price in the country. And every once in a while, because they're on the west coast, they get a lot of things that the other companies don't get because they come in right off the docks. Everybody gets stuff off the docks. But they made a deal and they had a ton of those uniforms. Somebody came in and said, oh, I think I want them all. And they did, okay? So that happens. Anyway, but there's other stuff sitting there. And again, they do have MRE components. We're at the top, guys. A little past, actually. We gotta get going. We'll hear the music. LibertyTreeRadio.4MG.com LibertyTreeRadio.4MG.com If you can't take the time and donate, but help out. God bless the Republic. Get after the New World Order. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. We'll move on the mark, though. Stay on the line. You rock! Peek-a-moo slats, beat them down hard, guys. They're coming door-to-door with their strike force to show you some big brother, coronavir virus, murder, death, kill, shot, love. I think you better keep everything loaded and ready to say, well, thank you, but no thank you. And then, by the way, hold my bullets. Pop, pop, pop. We're going to take off for now. Ed taking over. God bless you all. We'll see you tomorrow. See you in time on Liberty Green Radio.
