Mark Koernke discussed weapons, ammunition, and tactical gear on Weapons Wednesday, July 7, 2021. He covered SKS carbine availability and pricing, police trade-in pistols including Smith & Wesson M&Ps and Berettas, holster options for various firearms (particularly 1911s, Berettas, and the UM-84), and ammunition selection emphasizing ball ammo standardization. Callers contributed perspectives on modern Kydex holsters and Bianchi holster designs. The show shifted to broader political commentary, including criticism of COVID-19 vaccine mandates, vaccine deaths, government propaganda, and advertising patterns. Koernke discussed rifle grenades, recoil pads, medicine ball cartridges, and MRE pricing, concluding with appeals for donations to Liberty Tree Radio.
Constitution, you know the right to bear arms is because that's the last form of defense against tyranny Not to hunt to protect yourself from the police anybody that wants to disarm me can drop dead Anybody that wants to make me unarmed and helpless people that want to literally create the proven Places where more innocents are killed called gun-free zones. We're gonna beat you. We're gonna vote you out of office or suck on my machine Not again, so why must be what do we do politicians? Look, okay, just get any blunt objects together, alright? If you get corners, bash them in the head, that seems to work out. Keep together, stay sharp and follow me. I had a dream the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat and speaking low to me, he said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrant flavored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate. And your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press. and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number and you've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm. and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children will be. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for what you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God-given right, and pray to God, keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he'd vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true. We are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now, as Tyrant trampled each god-given rite, we only watch and tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave, dill the land of the free? It's raining a little bit again. It's been kind of not raining much, but we got a little bit of moisture finally felt. So it's a mix, depending on where you are in the state and some places. We've got thunder boomers over towards Lake Erie and in locations just over the Ohio border. Tell me about Ohio. Yes. Anyway, let's see, a couple things. SKS carbines, nothing really to write home about. No sales on any that we've seen yet. That doesn't mean somebody might not have something, but they are out there floating about, and as one group runs out of them, somebody else apparently has ordered a stock of them or a crunch of them. how are that works, a case, pallet, and they've got some. So you need to shop around, pay attention. They're all the same model. It looks like I think it all came from the same big turn-in by one government or another to one of the revolution, you know, rent a revolution companies. And they in turn, of course, have been allowed to bring them in because they are semi-auto only. They're a 10-shot. They're restricted all the way around. So it's like they're, you know, they can't say much about them. Of course, they're semi-auto, manually operated weapon. But the SKS is about 500 is the average but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to find a better price. So shop around. Shop smart. Shop S smart. You got that? Okay. Anyway, let's see. Next. Over at JGSales.com they did get a couple of other police trade-in pistols. Hand guns are not as pressing for everybody because of the cost of ammunition. But you do need a hand cannon per one per person if at all possible more is better. Caching pistols is a good idea. The police trade-ins like in the 40 Smiths, the Smiths and Wesson M&Ps in the 40 caliber, and then they do have those in nine. But they also are popping up with Berettas. Beretta standard, you know, American models. And these are kind of high in mileage it looks like. They're finishes at least worn a bit. That's typical because again these look like they're contract guns for somewhere in the United States and probably were quite heavily carried, not necessarily heavily shot. So they're definitely worthwhile. There's a bunch of Beretta magazines, certainly lots of leather and government Nylon available, so there's plenty of carry systems out there for the Beretta. It's been around a good long time. And then you do have some of the overlapping European stuff. The only difference is where the magazine release is, remember, and magazine tag on the gun between the Euro and the American model. But as far as the basic frame goes, everything is identical. So the service molded holsters work just fine. There's a bunch of Italian. Tactical combat holsters like the UM-84, there's three different models out there and none of them are expensive, all of them are cheap. And they're comparable quality. I have one of each and I have some of the other odd man out that are now not available that came in with this first Italian wave of surplus. I mean, if I always had Italian junk out there, stuff. But in this case, all of a sudden we've had a bunch of really good, you know, quality. regular military issue equipment pop out from the Italian inventory. So that's why you want to look at it. Plus Italian municipality which basically is cop shop and you know county and state type of operations. But they do use a lot of different things you know the forestry service etc has both military type uniforms and they carry weapons. I don't know how many of them carry weapons, but they had enough that everybody's got holster, so that's pretty pretty kind of cool and cheap. So the big thing is cheap. So if you're looking for holster solutions for those two guns, both of those are out there in force right now. Copshop Leather and Copshop Carry. There's a bunch of surplus stuff that's used, goes right along with those guns. It doesn't always go to the same place. I don't know that JG Sales actually has any of the used police leather. They might. And if they do, that'd be as good as anything else you'd use to carry. I have a problem with the police grade issue, for instance, they've got all kinds of black tactical nylon. So if you see something here at work, run with it. But it's a personal flavor choice thing. So whatever's on the shelf, remember too, it's also finite. So if you were thinking about doing that for several guns, And you might want to call and find out what they have in stock, how much is left, and procure what you think makes sense for your issue, for your needs. So that's especially critical to remember because this is surplus, not new. It's surplus. Not that there's much in new where you can rely or count on it forever anyway, but the surplus stuff, when you see it that's cheap, take advantage of it because it won't be cheap for long and it may not even be there ever again. It might not even make it back to expensive. I mean I'll find it even less. Another thing, it's Weapons Wednesday. I know there's some unique ammunitions that came out with all this stuff when the ammunition shortage started. I've commented on this. I've mentioned it many times. Stick with ball ammo if you can. Now I know there are a few rounds that are specialized that are actually no more expensive than regular 9mm. So if you're thinking about that, and this is the tough part when it comes to shortage periods, if you're looking at a unique round, you want to buy a sampling so you might want to get at least a reasonable quantity and you've got to test it in the guns you're going to use, especially in pistol ammo because There are hundreds, if not a thousand, different frames out there and some automatic guns in 9mm alone that each one slightly different. Some are copies like copies of Steyr's, copies of Sig's, copies of Glocks, you know, knockoff variations, you know, a little different in the hull but basically the gun internally is the same. However, how things feed in handguns, especially semi-auto handguns, is something you got to keep an eye on. Revolvers, not a big deal. Just slide it in the end of the cylinder there and go boom, boom, and then, you know, hey, guess what, drop the brass. But remember, there's a bunch of things that some automatic pistol rounders got to do. The baseline for all of that is ball ammo. Copper jacketed, standard ball ammo. Lead typically will work as well when a lot of guns have, there are lead loads out there available, as we know. But ball ammo is the base, or again, whatever is the standard jacket, jacket and ground. Or a simic, a mimic of the same thing, a let it brown those, projectile, copper wash, we talked about that for reloads, you can get that to work especially for training. But... More important thing is if you are in a situation somebody says throw me some ammo If you have a very specialized round which doesn't mean you won't throw it at somebody if that's all you got But if you throw somebody a specialized round you may have a malfunction immediately Depending upon whose gun you know what you got everybody's carrying or if it's a friendly but somebody new you don't know what they have And that's why the ball ammunition baseline is my credo for pretty much any field operations because we know it'll work in all the guns. When I said the case of ammo forward, it's not going to be, you know, super bright. HP 5000, super max P, P, P, plus, plus, plus load. No, it's going to be a standard baseline. middle of the road, ball round 9mm 45 ACP, 7.62x39, 5.56, 7.62 NATO, it doesn't make any difference. 30 at 6, 3.08, okay. Whatever, 8mm mount. It's still going to be the first thing I'm going to shoot out to a unit in the field is going to be ball ammo. Now if I run through all that, then I'll start sending out the more exotic stuff like round nose soft point. Not a critical problem. Most guns, if it's a rifle for instance, but it varies depending upon each weapon. So a lot of the Morris, you know, sophisticated star cookie cutter goes in the size of your little finger and comes out the other side a sewer pipe and you can hear the echo through the wound channel. Echo, echo, echo, echo. Because of the nature of those rounds and some guns It's just that simple little shoot, but getting a you know ejection or getting a pickup or because the feed ramp paper Etc etc etc you need some things you can fix But remember if you're gonna have the problem and you had to you had to tune it Then somebody else's untuned gun is probably gonna have the same problem you had there's something to think about there it's like wadcutter 45 works just fine in the guns that works in and That's actually a pretty straightforward round But if your pistol is not throwed and the ramp is not polished, it's not guaranteed, you're going to see that 45 ACP wadcutter work in the gun you've got. That's a simple round by comparison to some of the other stuff we're talking about. So, heads up there. Another thing... Let's go back to we were talking about holsters there a minute ago before I forget I've had a lot of people asking about well, what do we use for the 1911 with you know, their military surplus? Officers just don't seem to be out there. That's true For the 45 there's a bunch of commercial Tactical holsters that are available right now. So it's really not hard to find something But there is some surplus laying around or copies. The big thing is the World War two reenactors There's a whole industry. If you don't know about this, you should. I thought most of you would. You've seen this in that there's replacement cartridge belts. You've got whole uniforms. Hell, they're doing Russian and French uniforms for World War II reenacting. So an Italian, no less. But as far as like all of the leather, they make standard 10-round cartridge belts. BAR belts brand new. They're Chinese made. But they have also made an entire family of leather original knockoff 45 and revolver holsters. So if you look around you can still find them The only thing is there were some there were some knockoffs done. They weren't for the World War two reenactors or whatever But there were there were a bunch of surplus items, you know anywhere from 15 to 30 years ago whereby they made a copy the Chinese did but they didn't make it exactly the same. For example they made a leather 1911 holster classic hanger but they went with a snap instead of a brass stud for the flap. It's not the original configuration. Does it work? Yeah they work. They seem to work pretty well. Eventually you probably have to replace that snap male or female. component but they work and they were reasonably priced. Now the surplus, let's just say non surplus original but they're surplus now. There's a bunch of these things laying around. 45 holsters are running an average price. Not a great price, not a super sale price but they are available for around 20 bucks plus or minus. Now They're some more expensive and they are you know, obviously the grain of the leather and the quality of the cut is the big deal and you know accuracy and finish and by the way, there's one or two companies Let's see. I think Royal Tiger import still carries a bunch of them But there are a bunch of variations just on the 1911 and the m1917 revolver holsters guys I mean, there are a dozen of them and they've made those as surplus or as reproductions for collection. Mostly because then the reproductions are used rather than the originals. You save those, put them on the shelf for going out in the field and beating them up. Just a heads up, there are some holsters out there. If you like that standard 1911 with the M1910 hanger, brass or steel, and you want the stud for the brass stud or bronze stud instead of the snap for that flap, They make them, they're made to original gauge with a leather. They're stamped appropriately, not that that's critical, but a lot of you guys like it, you know, full pattern. And if you look around, you will find them in the system. They are out there. In fact, I mentioned one company, Royal Tiger Imports, they might even have them on the shelf right now. And if you want the pancake shoulder holster, A bunch of companies are carrying those. They make them for both the 45 and they make them for the revolver. That's the type that was used for armored, crewmen, and aviators. Go ahead, Colin. Come in there. Yeah, Tex-Mex. Yeah, the holster I like for my 1911 is the more modern one. The one made by Albianchi is the flap-over nylon. What's great about that, what's great about that holster is not only will it fit on 1911, but anything in that size, it fits it just perfect. And it was designed for the Beretta, or I forget what the military... name for the Berena was but it you know it'll fit that your Smith and Wesson's any of your semi-autos that size it'll fit perfect and with the flap over it you know the flap over latch it's going to be there when you need it you know a lot of these guys you know like I've used it in competition and on the running guns and there's a lot of high-speed low drag holsters out there but You know, if you're going through cross country and everything, you know, when you get to a stage, you want to be sure that thing is still in there, you know? Right. Oh, no, the jiggle wiggle, it's very easy to jiggle wiggle something right out of its picture. And holsters, you know, handguns included, enough to run, jog, roll, and bounce. And you reach for it and there's an empty pocket or an empty holster in this case. Yeah, one of the nice things about that is probably the UM-84 is what you're talking about. It's been around a long time. Bianchi made it and it's of course got a couple other designations overseas. And in fact, that's the one I was talking about. The Italians have been sending some in the surplus. So you might find one there. Now, they have different back hangers. That's the only thing, you know, how they connect to the rig. In fact, the earliest ones, it's a UM84, I've got two of them. A sportsman's guide had them, and I mention them because they went down to a ridiculous price. Well, instead of a regular loop or any of the other type of hangers for the belt, it has the traditional M1910 wire hanger system, which Works, it's just most people are not familiar with it anymore. It's still out there There's still you know that's why your pistol belts have grommets guys those grommets are for the m1910 wire hanger That's how the gear was supposed to be hooked up World War one. That's how they did it to extend the magazine extend the capacity of your your Cartridge belt whether it was a bar belt 10 pocket cartridge belt or a standard pistol belt. Either way those grommets are there. And that's so you could hang different things like that 45 holster could hang right to the end of a BAR pouch and get strapped down to your leg. Just how it was supposed to be set up. The BAR pouch being a priority, your BAR was your first, the pistol was your second, you know, your second idea. Just in case. Go ahead, anything else? Jump in there please. Yeah, I was just going to say that a lot of these new modern Kydex holsters are great. And you know, they've got a pretty good retention, but they're designed for if you're in your car, you're sitting in your concealed, sitting in your car or in the restaurant or something like that, that's great and everything. But if you really got to move around one of those things, if you don't have like a secondary system to hold it in place, a good button or something like that, those posters, you can... If you give them a good shake, your gun will pop right out. Yeah, that's another thing. Remember, a lot of people don't like cross straps or back strap systems, but there was a reason those were put together. And again, for most of your travel or motion work, a simple cross strap retainer, like a safety band, is a very good idea. When you come, when it comes time to get a little closer to an issue, then all you did was pop the snap on the front or the, there are a number of different systems, of course even bucklers, but that's not your first choice. But the, you just pop the snap and now it's free floating in the holster. So it's pretty straightforward. Again, you gotta watch it because now once you've taken the retainer off, well, it does move a little more. So there's where you have to constantly be thinking And especially since the handgun is probably not your at that moment primary thought process. So it's got to be part of your constant mental inventory that you're doing about, you know, first of all, what do you have on your person? Does the weight feel right? And think when you move, especially if you put everything into a heightened state of preparedness for contact. In other words, release the safeties, whatever you're going to do with all the cross, you know, if you have a cross strap or a safety strap of some kind on the gun. Flaps, in fact, UM-84, the flap will come right off. Just a heads up for anybody, if you guys, you know, you mentioned it was a flap type holster. The UM-84, when it was designed, there were specific specs laid down like any government contract, and they matched everything that was required. So you can actually take the full cover flap off a standard UM-84 and make it an open top bucket holster for quicker withdrawal and use. The flap is designed to keep it from getting the ship meat out of it and also keep moisture and dirt out of it That's its first purpose and it's logical because you're in the field bouncing around you never know what you're gonna run into go ahead call the trip in there. Oh, yeah, I've used it in sandy conditions that really work well for keeping sand out of the action Now any shoots coming up or anything happening in the not too distant future I mean summertime anybody out there, you know popping caps and and Going $1 $1 $1 every time they pull the trigger Oh, that's only half a dollar half a dollar half a dollar see that's the problem now. It's like, you know to me that's oh, yeah I know you have the worst part is growing up way I did because you know three cents around five cents around and I mean, when it was cheap, that's why I shoot certain guns. Because it's cheap to shoot! Or it was cheap to shoot. Now it's, you know, like I said, $1. That's what's going on. You're thinking, you can feel your wallet getting thinner. Every time I pull the trigger, my wallet seems to move. Why? Well, it's like, isn't it about like a dollar? Oh yeah, yeah, the credit card's, you know, re-inventoring. That's what it's doing. So, chicka, chicka, chicka, chicka. Or ching, ching, ching, ching. And that ain't the bullet hitting the plate. That's the money hitting the pan there. Now on that note, real quick, let's not forget, there's a bunch of yields on. Unless you shoot the 7.62x39 and it's 33 cents around. Right, exactly. I can go one, two, three a dollar. One, two, three a dollar. Whereas the other is one dollar. So see, that's why it is nicer to shoot 7.62x39, at least for utility purposes. So and why you all need a 7.62x39 gun of some kind. If you got an AR-15, buy a 7.62x39 upper. They got two of them on sale over at Bear Creek Arsenal right now. Tops with bolt carrier and charging handle all complete under our about... do I know? Hold on, what was the price? I think they're under $300 apiece. Right now they just the one barrel in fact I know correction both are stainless One is a carbine length the other one is a mid-length gas system You know the carbine length is cheaper by that one. I'll remind you again But yeah, some 62 by 39 is the way to go for you're getting out on the range and at least being able to do some range fire But most people just want it because you need more ammo for the war which is what everybody told me today that I ran into I need more ammo for the war. I know. Go here. Go here, young man. Go here. Or go here, young man. As in one case where it was a whole bunch of people standing there and they're all the same. Yeah, I need more ammo too. So everybody, nobody is, everybody is sharing more confidence. Yeah, everybody's sharing their confidence in the machine by voting with their wallet right now, guys. Nobody trusts. Washington. Nobody. There isn't anyone I have run into who in any way shape or form is trusting Washington or this regime or the government in any way shape or form right now. That's why it's rather comical. Remember, boy, July, we'll have everybody. We're going to get 100%. It's like they right now, the numbers, they've tried to redoctor them. I got to remind everybody real quick before I go any farther on this. 70, they admit seven out of 10 people have not taken the murder death kill shot. 7 out of 10. In other words, 70%. Non-country, well, we got 55%, maybe they got one or two dot spots. But across the board, the reason they're lamenting, oh, no, it will take longer. Anybody see the announcements today? Got to mention this too. Oh, they're talking about for all you people who took the murder death kill shot, you need to have more protection now. You need to have double masks and more masks than mask mandates again. Wait a minute. If this thing doesn't do anything for you, which it doesn't, why do you need anything? The masks or anything? So it obviously isn't doing what they're claiming it was going to do. It does something else. Well, the thing that's been in the news down here, dad, that's been big. It's actually the kid who died from the second COVID vaccine shot up there in Michigan. He had no prior, uh, no, uh, was no pre-existing conditions. Kid was perfectly healthy. He got the first shot, felt a little sick from it. The mom kept him on track though and made sure he got in there for the second shot and the night after taking the shot he was dead. That's been all worth the news down here. I think there's more than one. Let everybody know. I think there's been like three or four of those. And one of the people I ran into today, this morning, well, midday, said that, and I didn't know that they were doing that down in Texas, but you just informed me, but that they had more than one and they tried to shut up about it. Obviously, if they've had four that you might be able to find out about, there's a lot more. So they're obviously, the social media compartmentalization, they're gonna bare face lie about whatever is going on. And whatever they're claiming this garbage does, it doesn't do anything for you, but it can kill you. It does nothing, per the Dr. Quackenbush scam claim. Ah, yes! You take this shot and you'll be cured of everything. The coronavirus will never threaten you again. But just to be safe, we're going to put you in quarantine again and we're going to put double face masks on you and we're also going to restrict your travel. Well, what does the shot do? Why? It does nothing, my boy. It does nothing, but it'll kill you. Go ahead, Colin. Yeah, did you see the I saw a good one on the on the internet said that the press secretary said that in order to encourage more people to get the shot that they were going to go door-to-door and Somebody pops off and says oh, so you admit you're keeping a list Right if we're gonna go door-to-door Well, yeah, you might but you know what at some point It's gonna be like while they just beat them and they beat them and they beat them and they just wouldn't stop beating them With a 2x4 and a hammer and I think they used a yard-yard rake that took a long time to dive being beat to death with a yard rake But it was it made the person who did it feel good because it did take so long Oh God hit me with something else. No. No, this will last an hour or two Yeah, you know, you just shut up Again, first rule, like I said, for all of you that are listening to this program, you're the thinkers, not the stinkers. Look at it this way. It's going to thin out the enemy ranks, not ours. Anybody stupid enough to go along with it isn't really in your camp. And again, they were willing to acquiesce. There was no pressure. Nobody put any gun in anybody's head. Well, I just had to take the shot. Why? Well, I just had to do it. No, you didn't. But I tell you what, you know, and I don't be overt. Remember always do this. You just start fading that person away from you. I had two discussions this weekend and one of our one of the speakers at Freedom Palusa was talking about, you know, all of her cousins that she went to see on the left coast and how they all were, you know, a bunch of them were fruity. And it's like those person would never be in my life ever again. I don't want to talk to them. I don't care if they die. when they just started just the stupid Karen kind of in your face crap other done and you know what better to know now because they wouldn't be any different any other serious thing pops up they'd be the same kind of monkey poking backstabbers so instead write them off now and like I said if you've got family members or that kind of doofiness Write them out of your wills. I cannot stress that. If you've got leftist family members, the one thing you can do is reach out from the grave and make sure they don't get any of your digits. That's the beauty of making and writing a will. And right now you got plenty of time to think about it, but you put them on the feces list. under no circumstances. In fact, I've got a list of not relatives that I will give everything to. If all the rest of the relatives I like are dead, then I want it to go over here to this person with his family, all his kids, to make sure he's got lots of kids. Give him the house, give him the car, give him whatever. That's what needs to happen. Seriously. That's how you treat enemies, because these people are enemies. Most of them, bragging or yapping off the side or gobbling up all this dog vomit about, kill all the white people or hate yourself or apologize. No, those people, they're done. But you need to treat them as the enemies that they are to you and our society. And you need to treat them, again, treat them like red-headed step-chokers. Guess what? You're a press secretary for the peto meat, you know, snipper meat puppet, okay, right? Notice they're doing, that's another thing, real quick, propaganda. I know I'm shifting here. It's weapons Wednesday. Have you noticed how many red bimbo's they have, red-headed bimbo's they have now that look just like the press secretary that they've gone out and hired for all of their different advertising and propaganda? And it's really obvious on the Internet systems because you have all these ads that are popped up that are shoved in your face. If you'll notice, they're trying to get, if you look like the red-headed twit, that is the press secretary in Washington, and you're in Hollyweird or you're in publishing as a model. Your butt is busy. You're getting paid. Okay. In fact, if they can't, if you don't have red hair, they'll just simply use the computer technology and give you the same shade of red hair. What you probably have is an inventory code out right now. So just a heads up. Pay attention to that one. And of course, there are no white people in any advertising anymore. It's, let's see, black. Oh, white female, queer, black female, and then Hispanic and or arbitrary Asian person. And that's it. So it's a standard pattern. It's laughable. It's why I shut all ads off as quick as I see them. And if I'm not, if I can't shut them off. Like I have to suffer through whatever little things you're doing. Hit the silence and scroll up the page so you don't even see the image. I am dead cold serious about that. That's another thing you all need to be doing. Don't let them just by osmosis condition you because there's a lot of subliminal crap that comes in with all that. So what you do... Scroll the page up. Don't scroll it up so far. You can't hit the mute like it's gonna put in 30 seconds. The ad will be over. Oh, well, that's good I got 30 seconds to rest for a minute and breathe and not listen to whatever they're doing and not watch whatever they have put together and I'm serious I'm religious about that and you should be to treat your enemies as Enemies, okay Let's see a couple of things. Number one are recoil pads. There are, and this has to do with the question about the SKS is also they actually made one that was screwed on but I don't know if anybody has it. Capco used to offer them also. It's a recoil pad that actually also lengthens your standard stock. on an SKS and it has a hole for the, you know, getting to the clean out kit. It's a neat little idea and what this did is they were also rubber baby buggy bumper, you know, recoil pads in addition to being an extender. Now there are other types of recoil pads out there. There's, everybody makes at least one or two models of this if you need one but you don't want to do a lot of work especially taking off the butt plate. you know, chopping down the rubbers, you know, grinding the rubber to spec and all that. There are rubber boots that will go on your shotgun, they'll go on a rifle, they'll even go to 22. Sometimes you've got a youth 22 and you want it to maybe adapt it as a really cool little small, say, backpack rifle. One of the considerations, excuse me, one of the considerations is to track down where these little rubber baby buggy boot type pads are. They literally have a boot that is slightly smaller than the spec for the stock. It stretches. It doesn't stretch and distort to the point where it rips. It's designed to be just big enough for the average stock. And it goes right over the end of the existing stock and it extends. There you can get different thicknesses. But those are also a combination of extensions and recoil pads. Now, if you wanted to take and make a little backpack rifle, like take one of these Youth Scout rifle 22s or little shotguns, but you wanted, you know, it's like, man, it's just still really, really giddy short, which by the way, isn't necessarily bad if you learn how to shoot those, right? But if you wanted to make that a little more of an adult-sized stock without changing everything out, Pick up one of these rubber recoil pads, find out what the thickness is from the inside of the pad to the outside back where it makes contact with your shoulder. And there are different sizes. Now the advantage here is you've got a neat little utility chipmunk gun. An example is a little chipmunk bolt action rifles. There's two or three little semi-autos that are tiny boys. And needless to say, the smaller youth shotguns And in fact, there's a bunch that right now have been out there, I noticed, that are left-handed, which, yeah, not necessarily your first choice if you're right-handed, but they've actually been pretty cheap. So you might want to check those out and see what makes sense. But the rubber recoil pads, the boot type, do not require any engineering whatsoever. All I have to do is just determine, you know, will it slide over the buttstock? This makes for a neat, neat little tiny package, almost like if you got a chopped down rifle, but in reality, that little rifle or semi-auto gun is normal size and within specs per the government requirements, you're actually going to add an inch or two with the rubber baby buggy bumper boots and they're kind of handy to have around for another reason. If you're thinking about having, you know, doing a rifle grenades off your Garand or off your M1 carbine or off your Springfield. They made, and they're harder to find now than they used to be, but used to be able to get the whole package for a few pennies between everything. The government made one of these rubber boots like this for putting on the end of a grand stock or a carbine stock so that when you launch rifle grenades, much like you would a mortar, You drop it to the ground, the recoil pad, make sure you don't take a divot out of the walnut stock when it hits, when it strikes the ground because the recoil pad is between the back of the stock and the ground. And you can use the other newer types. They're not quite as rigid, but they would work for the same purpose. So if you have a Grand and you're thinking you're going to be using it as a Grenadier's rifle, you know, toot. then finding the right recoil pad you might want to call around because it is a little thicker than the regular stock you find on a lot of other rifles, but most of them I think would probably work best be one of the shotgun recoil pads because many of the stocks are built because of the comb and the angle and everything a little bigger. So if you're looking for something like that to make a recoil pad, you know, a slice bumper pad for a rifle grenade, Easily you can make them fit the carbine stocks a little smaller The US military ones were black. They have us an ordinance symbol on the butt One model has it on the side. There were two different companies or three that made them during the war and Again, they rolled them right over to use on the m14 with the rifle grenades also So again, if you're using it in the indirect fire mode for poor man's mortar Which they would work quite well for Then you need the spigot launcher. You want to make sure you have rifle grenade blanks and you can actually load those, but you've got to make sure you have the right powder. And yes, the formulas are out there. I'll probably see if I can dig out before tomorrow. There's a couple companies west of the Mississippi that were selling all the components, including rifle grenade blanks at one time, but they also were, they do sell all of the cookbook formulas. for making your own rifle grenade blank because rifle grenade blanks have become rarer than they were in the past. Used to be they were all over the place. People fiddle-farted with them and played with them as squibs for the Fourth of July because they're a noisy bucker when you pull the trigger. If you don't have any rifle grenades on them, you know, boom! So they sounded like the regular rifle report. It didn't sound like a regular blank. Much barkier, let's put it that way. Another thing, I'll answer another question real quick because it'll be more than one. The BRICS made rifle grenades, everybody did, so there are some British launchers for the number four Mark I Enfield. They are the spigot, not the cup type, and they are out there. One of the companies that did have them, but may or may not, is e-circoinc.com. CIRCO. CIRCO had Belgium and I believe also German made after the war for the you know, Bundeswehr. Hail, hail the Wehrmacht, I mean the Bundeswehr. Yeah. So anyway, these are a spigot type like you would find on the M1 Garand, the carbine or any of the US weapons. But there are cup launchers out there. And the cup launchers, as a matter of fact, let's see, I believe Gunparts, Korp, Hatzem and Stock. Apex Gunparts has them in stock for the cup type and the cup type were designed to also launch conventional grenades shorter distances but there were all kinds of different solutions they came up with and again the idea of using them now with other pyrotechnics might be kind of interesting to say the least but you got to do a little research. The cup type or the spigot both use the rifle grenade launching blank. And again, you'll find a mix of manufacturers. The tail end of all the rifle grenade spigot launchers has been the stuff out of Yugoslavia. The Yugos were selling that stuff on the Run of Revolution market and making brand new copies of stuff that was kind of harder to find, but for certain weapons like for the FN FAL. even for the G3 rifle. Pakistan made a bunch of the launchers for the G3 etc. So different countries actually all made a launcher of that type and all the same spec as far as the spigot goes. One of the reasons is one of the biggest producers in the later phase when rifle grenades were very much in bougain, they're still in bougain, Inurga, the Inurga anti-tank rifle grenade. Everybody wanted to use that when it came out and because of that all any launchers you typically find will all be to the US slash NATO spec for the dimension for the spigot launcher itself. So again last thing medicine balls what I meant by a medicine ball there is an insert. Now beware listen to what I'm saying if you have a rifle grenade launching system and you already know how to use it You may have gotten a bunch of what look like little silver magneto discs or like transistors. These are what are called medicine balls. Now beware, do not, do not, do not ever fire those from the shoulder. Never fire them from, unless you want to go to the hospital because it'll break a collarbone, it will dislocate an arm, it'll do all kinds of fun stuff. Depending on where you have, how it slides as it slams back against you. The medicine balls were designed to increase the range of the rifle grenade, which it does. However, you either fire it from the ground, as I mentioned, using it kind of like a mortar round, or the other trick is you use a tree. You put the stock of your rifle underneath your armpit, you set up with the rifle rested against the tree, preferably with the rubber baby buggy bumper pad on the back, And you could fire direct line of sight that way with a car to the operator. But do not, do not, do not ever get anybody to convince you that you can launch a rifle grenade with the medicine ball slash the, it's an assist cartridge. You can't, you don't do that. You can't, you can do it any way, but it will get you hurt. So we don't want to see that happen. And there's a ton of those out there. We used them for years when we want to use the parachute flares. I was using the parachute flares I bought from Sarko. I cleared them out and bought like 2,000 of them. The flare will boost the flare another, I think, 700, 600 yards. What's cool is, again, it'll push it up higher so that you'll get full burn and it won't drop to the ground. That's not what it was originally intended for, but we used them for illuminating an area and again minimizing the amount of re-illumination we had to use by keeping the aluminum high. It's just a little trick that I learned and it worked really well, especially with night ambushing. So just something to think about. But if you do have or run into somebody who inherits a bunch of stuff, these are a silver type cartridge. What they literally have is a little manganese burn plate. And what happens is when you pull, launch it, it takes so long for it to burn and then it's like a little rocket assist up inside the rifle grenade channel for the spigot. It's fascinating the way it was. It was a great idea. It was a simple idea. I've never heard of any malfunctions. I don't believe there were. It's so simple, it's ridiculous, like the rifle grenade system itself making it more economical to build in wartime production again. You know, 100 men with a rifle grenade each and everybody launching at the same time, it's a poor man's Katyushka. Poor man's rocket, like rocket Calliope. Only in this case, rifle grenade Calliope. Just imagine 100 men going doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo all at once. And then you simply turn the gun down and start using it as a standard rifle. First to do you drop drop a barrage on someone think about a whole company doing that all at once together two times 120 or 140 Talk about shock and awe by the way, that's a trick that was used by special forces when they did have a field of trained individuals of battalion Guys, everybody carried a couple of rifle grenades or two laws rockets. Guess what you did first You drop a couple you drop a couple rockets each or a couple rifle grenades each and then you dump two full magazines off of whatever weapon you've got and then you proceed to the advance. Imagine what that's like. Pascating Hades as they say. So, and the one last thing again MREs are starting to bleed out but boy they're trying your wallet will bleed it's like buying ammunition. The prices are insane and there is no reason except for the devaluation of the currency or people charging of the market will bear. I don't recommend them right now and again if you look like Dollar Tree or any of your Distress Stores, you can find some really good canned and even retort pouch products and make up your own meal packs for a lot less. and end up with just as good a variety, in fact a better variety of meals too, which is something that I've done. So again, I saw this, ironplanet.com had MREs. If you are on Iron Planet as a customer, tag the MREs when they come through and then the day after the auction, go look at what the bids went for. And I'm gonna put something next to that what I saw in the way of prices. No way in hell. The prices that people bid on those MREs was, oh wait a minute, insane. No, insane. There we go, insane. Don't do that. If you're gonna do anything, hell, you're gonna spend that kind of money, freeze-dried if you can find it, go freeze-dried pouches. Do the math, okay? That's the thing, do the math. This is why doing your own homemade combination, I'm looking at some, cheese pouches I got. I got peanut butter fudge bars for like almost free. I've got several different types of cans of beans and or other legumes that are flavored, some of them phenomenally so. And between that one little pack of crackers, one can, one of those pouches, pack of crackers and that peanut butter bar, I've got a meal and more calories than I would get from a regular MRE to be quite honest. only because I'm going to get a whole can, 15 ounce can of food, and I'm going to slug it down because I'm going to be kneading it when I'm on the move and in the field. I'm going to need those calories inside when the time comes, so I'll take advantage of it. Anyway, we're almost to the top. Don't forget you can donate to Liberty Tree Radio by going to www.libertytreeradio.4mg.com. When you get there, go to the Donate T. And don't forget we do have the Axion rifle sights, red, blue, green, and we have the Monocleurs. I'll mention more on that tomorrow. and watch your mail. Everybody's got stuff inbound right now. In fact, if they'd like to hear more from you, send me an email at liberty at provide.net if you got your stuff. Just so I know you got it. God bless the Republic. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire's on the run. We're on the run. We're on the run. Again guys together you are the solution the bad guys are in trouble. They know it. They're not disarming us Only their people have been stupid enough to get the shot. It's the murdered in a kill shot And now they want to try and strong arm us. Well, I'm waiting with a 2x4 to shove up their hind end sideways when that happens And then still beat him with something else I can find to say. Hopefully something that will take a long time before they're done. Where are you at here for now? All of you, God bless and Edward taking over Liberty Free Radio right where he belongs.
