Last week when Bobo Biden stood at the podium and told the world how he was going to save the world by violating the Second Amendment. You know, remember that whole no amendment is absolute BS, especially the one that says, shall not be infringed. Well, there's a lot of people that aren't familiar with David Chipman. I'm going to give you a brief rundown of some of his shining stars for his resume, and then I'll leave it up to you to do your own little bit of investigation and make your own decisions. But this guy is probably the worst candidate ever. for director of the ATF. Now, he was a 25 year agent in the ATF and he retired. And he's done a couple things since then like be the senior policy advisor for the Giffords Group, the same Giffords Group that is vehemently against the Second Amendment and trying to delete guns and have gun bans and magazine bans, etc. Same guy who did a YouTube video for Giffords about ghost guns and how dangerous they are. This is a guy who is on record numerous times calling for assault weapon bans, for magazine bans, for universal background checks. He's a big, big fan of extreme risk protection orders and more. But some of the glaring things that you need to know is that he was at Ruby Ridge. The whole, if you're not familiar with Ruby Ridge, you're gonna wanna do your on investigation there. And there were members of the Weaver family that were killed, murdered, assassinated by the federal government. So if you're not aware of that, you should be aware of that. And that was in August of 1992. I remember that because I was a junior in high school. And then the following year, he was at Waco. He was the case agent at Waco, the Branch Davidian complex, if you're not familiar with that. Do research on that because that will discuss to you on how our federal government operates with their enforcement. So that was a 51-day standoff between ATF and FBI and the Branch Davidians who were headed by David Koresh, if you can remember back then. And that ran from February 28th to April 19th of 1993. That was my senior year in high school. I remember that one. That was that was a hell of a scene. I remember watching that play out on television Like I said, the it was a standoff and they were there allegedly to arrest David Koresh who they said they had a warrant for David Koresh Routinely jogged the complex alone. So he could have easily been apprehended if they really wanted him However, they also apparently were after a stockpile of what they thought were illegal weapons and there were some false claims made by by this guy David shipment that two Choppers were shot down by 50 cal Barrett rifles, which is a blatant lie if you read the reports from the 1996 house report by both the oversight in the judiciary committees They say yes, there were the Davidians did shoot at the helicopters after the incident started. but none of the National Guard crewmen or the ATF agents on board were injured and the birds did not go down because of gunfire at all. So he's lying, outright lying. And that's the case agent, one of the case agents, if not the only case agent, for the Waco massacre. I say massacre because in total, I always get the numbers wrong, 76 branch Davidians died or murdered. as well as 25 children and two pregnant mothers. And they also had four ATF agents that were killed that day as well. And you might remember pictures or video of the burning building, which happened after the FBI initiated a tank and tear gas offensive, you know, tanks. These are the same people that say, you know, the citizens don't need weapons of war because we're just going to mow, mow, or burn them down with tanks. But that happened. And this picture is going around. This is David, David Chipman posing in front of the burned rubble and the smoldering remains of people at Waco. So that's a good candidate, according to the Biden administration. And I mentioned that he went to work for the Giffords Group as well. And the Giffords Group last week said, quote, that he was the perfect choice for the ATF director. So it tells you that These anti-gun groups are salivating at having somebody who is a proven anti-gun extremist who's willing to burn down buildings and kill women and children for guns. So it's just astonishing. And this video is kind of going all over the place because I get frustrated with this, that a lot of people don't know about this clown, this scumbag, who is now pimp to potentially run the ATF. Some other things that he has done. He's on record in 2018, and this was in October of 2018, and he was asked if AR-15s should be treated like or regulated like machine guns. And his quotes were, what I support is treating them just like machine guns. To me, if you want to have a weapon of war, the same gun that was issued to me as a member of the ATF SWAT team, It makes sense that you would have to pass a background check. The gun would have to be in your name, and there would be a picture and fingerprints on file. To me, I don't mind doing it if I want to buy a gun. These policies just protect the criminal, like... I don't think you should be able to anonymously purchase 20 AR-15s at one time, and the government shouldn't know. I don't think it's unreasonable at all that you have to pass a background check to own a weapon of war. So for those in the back of the room, an AR-15 is not an assault rifle. It is not a weapon of war. There has not been one standing military unit in the world that's gone to war with an AR-15. None. I say that everybody should be able to defend themselves with an AR-15. And that is not a weapon of war, an AR-15, because you were not a soldier at war, Bobo. He also had a slew of... solid gold questions and answers in an AMA and asked me anything that he did in 2019 on Reddit. Now I am a Reddit virgin. I don't know how to Reddit. I don't even know that's the right way to say it. There's some gold in there of people asking him questions, him answering his gun control answers, and them hammering him with follow-up questions that he doesn't answer. But nobody's a big fan of red flag laws he wants to treat. AR-15s like machine guns, he wants to have AR-AK pistols under the NFA, he's against ghost guns, and he's huge for universal background checks. Now I just want to address his quote when referring to AR-15s and how they should be treated as a machine gun. Now I can only speak for the state that I live in, But I'm willing to bet a small amount of money. But I'm willing to bet that most of the states out there that have firearms permits, licenses to carry, whatever they're called, have a similar type of process. My fingerprints are taken and they're on file. In fact, my fingerprints are run through the FBI and NCIC and they're also run through the mental health database. so that they will know if I am a criminal, B have been involuntarily thrown into a mental hospital or something like that. My fingerprints are on file. They also take a thumbprint that in Massachusetts was on the actual card. Your photo is taken. So the photo is on record and your prints are on record. And you have to do the background check. What else does... I mean, it's already done. So he's lying. These people, these anti-gunners are lying blatantly. to the non-gun owning public because they just don't know and they believe what they're being told because it sounds reasonable but it's a friggin lie. Now it's important to note that although he's been nominated he needs 51 votes in the Senate to be confirmed and that is where we the people can stop this quite easily I think. All you have to do is call your senators and I'll have a link down below on how to find out who your senator is and how you can get a hold of them. And if this goes 50-50 down the line guys and gals Kamala Harris will be the tiebreaker She'll smile and cackle. Hahaha. She'll do that awkward laugh as she's signing this clown this scumbag to be the director of the ATF and that's where we come in and you should be hammering your senators now I don't care if your senator is Dianne Feinstein mine is Elizabeth Warren and Marky I'm still gonna call them. And you think they care that Jared from Guns and Gans is calling with a concern about the Second Amendment? They don't give a shit. But you know what? I don't give a shit. Literally everybody, all the cops were told, you know, go get a fact, you might recall we played, I think, part of the one on, well, we did play part of it on the air, where the cops were told, if you've got anything in precinct number four, for all the guys that are in precinct four, if you've got any personal property, go in and get it, because in 20 minutes, we're rolling out of here. And guys step by step, all the outlying precincts, where all of the black districts were, they said, you know what, you got it, go ahead, burn the place down, we're out of here, bye. And they backed out. They pulled out the weapons, they pulled out equipment, locked everything down. If you're smart, you just pull everything out, lock every door, lock every closet door, every room door. The biggest problem is whether or not they actually have the barrels in stock. Bear Creek Arsenal, of course, does. uh... and the prices of progress we've been going up as we've seen through the whole the industry uh... what a country dot com doesn't have a big selection of barrels but they do have some m four knockoff barrel standard miltype carbine length uh... gas system about one can a piece so that they can't solution now bolt carriers same thing looking for a reasonably priced standard field grade both care are aimed surplus dot com when they get a man they get them in for a good price Take the time go over there to aim surplus. It's one of the reasons I've talked about them for so many years not so much the ammunition issue It has been the again bolt carriers that's been their niche and they as bolt carrier technology Has gotten a little unique with some of the different finishes Aim surplus has been right there paralleling or actually did some of the first work With the more unique finishes which are now standard so aim surplus and if you watch they may have their own product line and they do really good work I haven't had anybody complain about any of the bulk carriers that they've ever bought from them and we have a lot of guys running them right now another thing is remember spares you are going to want at least if you especially if you have a rack full of air 15s you want to start picking up spares in terms of bolt carriers you know bolts all the small pins, all the small springs, because you are going to wear things out. I have had experience with this. We have fishing tackle boxes that are full of spare parts for the AR for that reason. A couple times we've had some real problem child factory guns made by Colt, who were some of the most obnoxious ARs to try and get running ever since back when the Italians had taken over Colt for a while. And then when they did that, they got rid of all the tradespeople, everything got buggered up. And even their top-of-the-line ARs, they were having major problems with. In fact, the one gun we ever quite fixed, we ever quite got to work with, should have, or print where it should have, especially for an H-bar. So what can happen doesn't mean you're with who made it. The big thing is spare parts. At some point, you are going to wear out extractors. You are going to wear out, you know, firing pin. You are going to wear out, you know, the ejector. That's why they're tiny parts that are replaceable. That's why they're set up to be so simple to replace. Okay. Now another thing, just going through this, something we experienced this weekend, and actually have had a couple different experiences within the past, mentioning extractors. British Enfield, number one mark three and the number four mark one. Two totally different parts systems as far as the main spring and the extractor. Very common for people to mix parts up, which is why when you get parts in the mail, you want to cross check them. Don't assume that you got the right parts. If you have a certain rifle that you are buying parts for... that I'm going to remind you again to double check and reference example. Circle has always been really good for that. In fact, circle for the longest time when things were more readily available and there was a, you know, the surplus market was flush. There was just tons and tons of stuff around guys. They used to send both parts, both parts as an option just in case you didn't know what you were talking about even though they talked you over the phone. uh... example i've been ordered curbing parts and they would send uh... you know even when you told them it was for instance universal they would send one of each one of the standard military extractor and one universal extractor difficult they've had piled apart bucket and bucket and barrels and bibs and they wanted a happy customer was good customer relations pluses move the parts that they use it if you want the other maybe but you know guess what if you made a mistake and all i should have ordered universal extractor uh... one behold guess what melis sensual universal extractor and then you also have the uh... standard of one carbine depending on the year some of the universal use regular carbine parts for a big chunk of the gun but remember there was a big change in the pattern This is what gave them a bad name as far as people not liking the way that the new all-stamp parts universal carbine worked. The first rule with the universal carbine was no different than a regular M1 carbine in that both of them, the TAP-IT system, would typically be followed up because somebody didn't know how to clean the gun. And then of course automatically if it was a universal, it was, oh, universals don't work. It's like, well, they work if you clean them. And if you think it's bad when people have a regular military carbine, they may not know. Well, they got a sporting carbine and they figured, well, it's different from the M1. And you shouldn't do what it's doing. And this has got to be bad because it was badly made. Half of this is mythos slash repeated assumption. All the carbines work, but you've got to keep that blasted gas capit clean. You got to open up the action, you got to pull the action out of the receiver. There's that little gas, you got a little gas tap out there. That little piston's got to be un-carbonized and usually that's where the number one problem is and it doesn't take long to build up. Okay, it will happen. That's just again, basic rule. So, in this case, remember, the number one mark three Enfield of the variants that fall into the SMLE family are one part inventory. Right now, for a little while, don't ask me, I mean, other than the fact that a bunch of armies have sold a bunch of their parts inventory, not weapons, just the parts inventory. Right now, it's almost the cheapest we've seen in quite some time for Enfield parts. But if you have for instance the extractor and you have an extractor spring break Then it can happen because it was designed to do this if it fails It's not going to mess up the gun. It just means you're not going to have proper extraction. You're not going to have proper aggressive grip on the extractor plate Because remember it is a rimmed cartridge when it pulls back on it It'll roll right over it and release and you know if there's any kind of resistance and you're not going to extract So you definitely want to A, make sure that you've got the proper spring, and in addition to that, for either the number one mark three or the number four mark one and all the number four variants, including the mark five, which is, they're all the same there, mark four, mark five, except that some jungle carvings were made on the SML-E as aftermarket. Beware, you gotta know the guns. But for the most part the number four number fives are pretty much if it's the real number five jungle carbine all the parts from the number four typically work If it's the number one mark three SMLE that's totally different parts inventory, but either way I recommend that you right now go to for instance apex gun parts or gun parts Corp.com Now apex gun parts has got some incredibly cheap prices on infield parts right now And if you have an Enfield, you want a spare extractor, at least one, preferably two. You want a couple of those extractor springs. They're very small. And in addition to that, you also want to pick up one of the firing pin springs. They're cheap right now, a couple dollars apiece. Now that's a bigger spring, but it's awful nice to have a crisp, fresh one. Okay, just something to think about. Factory, military, production for $2. So, if you want an extractor, you definitely want, again, the extractor spring. I would also pick up a couple of the extractor nuts, or forgive me, bolts. There's a tiny little bolt. They're only about a dollar or two a piece. They are tiny, and if you drop it, if for whatever reason when you're doing maintenance and you lose it, you're kind of screwed. So here's the thing, you take all these little parts, you get one of those oiler bottles, plastic ones that will fit in the grand or the M1, M14, M1A, and what you do is put oil in there, take all those tiny little parts, put them inside that, and you can fit that right into the single hole cleaning rod station that's in the butt of the standard SMLE or the number four. Now some of the number fours don't do or don't have that retainer. that channel but most do so you've got a place to take all your little spare parts once you put them in that little tube and put some oil in there with it. In fact, fill it up with oil is your best choice. And that way they're completely immersed in oil. It's solid, it's sealed tight, not going to leak out or anything. But the parts are right there with the weapon when you need them. Now another thing I usually do with the number three, number one, mark three and with the number four, mark ones, is front blade grab it one or two extra front blades for the front sight. They're cheap, they're a giveaway price, and you might find them as little as 75 cents an item, but even for a dollar or two you can't make it for what it is, but if something happens or something gets buggered up, that little blade sight's awful handy to have on what is a main battle rifle that is relatively accurate. Okay. So if you can, you want to grab one of those. It will go right in that little tube with all little parts. In fact, you can fit two extractors, two extractor springs, the little nuts, forgive me, the little bolts, a couple of blade sites, and any other small parts you want to put in. If you want to get some of the other screws and other small springs, there's only one or two others. And you insert those in the tube, fill it with lubricant, quality you're going to use for the rifle remember you can always use it to lubricate the weapon down the road just a little bit of oil here and there not much going back on a green the thing and coat it with wood lubricant the idea is you're going to clean the gun up and you may need to or you want not make you want to or all the uh... rail tracks everything so what a guy didn't slide them very comfortable smooth action but this is a solution anyway we're at the top we're going to go away for the moment For everybody out there guys, again, guns and gadgets.
