Mark Koernke discussed Pennsylvania gun show regulations, specifically Eagle Arms Productions' ban on 80% lower receivers and the controversial support from Firearms Owners Against Crime (FOAC). He analyzed the political implications of this self-regulation, warning that anti-gun groups are using it as precedent for national bans. The show covered extensive technical content on Carcano rifles and ammunition sourcing, Italian military surplus uniforms available at Major Surplus, and detailed radio communications including linear amplifiers, antenna systems, grounding techniques, and tactical signaling methods using semaphore and infrared LEDs. A caller (Todd from Orlando) asked technical questions about linear amp specifications and power supply requirements, which Koernke addressed with detailed guidance on tube versus solid-state equipment maintenance.
constitution. You know, the right to bear arms is because that's the last form of defense against tyranny, not to hunt, to protect yourself from the police. Anybody that wants to disarm me can drop dead. Anybody that wants to make me unarmed and helpless, people that want to literally create the proven pleiniscence are killed called gun-free zones, we're going to beat you. out of office or suck in my machine gun. What do we do? Politicians. Look, okay, just get any blunt objects together, alright? If you get corners, put the fashion in the head. That seems to work out. Keep together, stay sharp, and follow me. I had a dream the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said, we fought a revolution to save to cure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. But Tyrant flavored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate. And your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press. and you pay attacks you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number, you've traded in your name, you've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm. and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children will be. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for what you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? Oh, sons of the Republic, arise. Take a stand. Defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land. Preserve our great Republic and eat God-given right. And pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he'd vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true. We are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as Tyrant trampled each god-given rite, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave, dill the land of the free? afternoon ladies and gentlemen this is the hour of the afternoon intelligence report i'm our quirk in one day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters on and behind the lines in occupied territories southwest northeast and central Ladies and gentlemen, you are listening to us on LibertyTreeRadio.4mg.com Liberty Tree Radio on satellite and we are on AM&FM micro stations, CB base stations, and UltraNet hallmark in Golden Spike technologies east and west of the Mississippi along with Alaska. Okay, let's understand that just because oh their guns special your guns not but let's go over to guns and gadgets Pennsylvania gun rights group. He should have put that in quotes. Okay with ban of 80% firearms at gun shows, okay uh... anyway pennsylvania gun rights group okay with battle eighty percent firearms at gun shows now again what's fascinating about this is so it doesn't make any difference the first wall is always some maulthe piece of trash is actually the leftist you know jewish mafia uh... connected with the oil boy is in the lodge whose job it is to do like what the fb i was doing when they were going to the neighborhood watch groups they were told get into the neighborhood watch groups because of the leader of after all europe and then tell everybody be a good victim if they come in whatever they're going to do it you just let them do it of course we didn't tell you the reason it makes it easier to fill up report when there's just a corpse rather than somebody bleeding and semi alive who might have fought for their lives before they you know the bad guy had a chance to kill them but just be a good victim that was the big point back in the day guys and a lot of the toadies that are all through the system which is another reason we have to fight an american war for independence and get rid of this this whole patty waste crap altogether is because well this is what happens here's where you go so anyway yet if you could pennsylvania gun rights group okay with band of eighty percent firearms at gun shows and that is uh... posted for today i think it's so it's not that long let's see i think i could find out real quick here it's going to take a second cuz i gotta wait for all the ad garbage myself but uh... guns and gadgets you guys you need to share wherever you can i'm doing it even as i'm speaking here because well wherever you can share it share it post it until they take uh... your you know with a page down or whatever read it becoming you know the early stages of the or middle stages really appear farce book slash face book so it's only a matter of time i mean come on the future gonna fail one after another and and and again remember yahoo well yahoo is kind out there still but it kind of got big and then it kind of just faded off into the background so to speak right A gun show promoter in Pennsylvania has banned the sale of 80% lowers at all of their shows going forward and it appears that one of the state's gun right groups is on board with this. There's a lot going on, let's unpack it here on this episode of Guns and Gadgets. Today's video is brought to you by Sylvan Arms. Sylvan Arms provides quality American made firearms accessories at an affordable price and most of you might know them from their folding stock adapters or their 9mm conversion block but their latest release is this M-Lok 2-in-1 QD Sling Mount. Now the Sling Mount allows users to use either a QD sling or standard clips if you have that, or both. It's perfect for moving between multiple spots on your rifle to account for whatever accessories you put on your rifle, or you can move the Sling Mount to a different rifle altogether. I really like the spring-loaded design. It locks in place and again allows for super easy adjustment with minimal effort. This is perfect if you have a favorite sling that you want to use on different rifles. All you got to do is quickly disconnect it from your current setup and move it to your new setup. Get yours today at Sylvan Arms and tell them that guns and gadgets meant you. Alright guys and gals, let me try to set the stage so that everybody can understand what's going on. There's still some cloudiness here but I've talked to numerous people on the ground in Pennsylvania and in different parts that know what's going on. And again, let me set the stage. You have Eagle Arms Productions. They're Pennsylvania's largest gun show promoter. They have made a decision to ban the sale of 80% lower risk at all their future gun shows. Now, FOAC, which is the Firearms Owners Against Crime in Pennsylvania, they're on record for being against the ban of 80% lowers, and based off of information I have received from a couple different sources, but also a phone call that they did with John Crump of Amilin and Gun Owners of America. You can see that on John's YouTube channel. But like I said, they're against the ban, but they say they're for this type of ban in the community so that government doesn't do it and I'll try to get you like I said, this is difficult so Josh Shapiro is the attorney the Attorney General of Pennsylvania very very anti gun and he's already doing The win-win yay-yay victory tour on this because they're saying look that Eagle Arms Productions is the first gun show promoter in the country to proactively ban a sale of 80% lowers. And based off of what Kim Stolfer of the firearms owners against crime in Pennsylvania has said to John Crump, they're cool with this decision because among other things a lot of these kits were being sold in bulk for cash and based off of a sting that was done some of these kits are being purchased by prohibited people and perhaps being used on the street in crime. Now on the screen is the press release from firearms owners against crime and I will say first off Eagle Arms Productions is a private entity. They have the right to determine what can be what what is allowed in their show with the private, okay? I get that. And you can see their press release says, the right to keep and bear arms is a cherished right that is enshrined in our constitutions, both state and federal. This right is under assault in part because of the unscrupulous and merciless actions of not only criminals who manipulate the law to suit the circumstances, but also heartless merchants, not legitimate FFLs. Now in my opinion that's directly pointed at JSD Supply because they're the group that was selling these at the shows in Pennsylvania that were told basically to cease and desist. And they are not and FFL. In fact, they addressed some of these claims again with John Crump. I'll continue. These violent career criminals are aided and abetted by ruthless persons without a conscience who turn a blind eye to the consequences of their unaccountable commerce. The recent investigation and apprehension of four individuals, a Morgantown gun show who bought dozens of Polymer 80 kits that can be, with about an hour's work, turned into fully functional Glock firearms, was the last straw for the gun show for motor Eagle Arms and its CEO, Joel. As of March 12th, Eagle Arms informed vendors that they would no longer allow the sale of Polymer 80 firearms kits. This was after a consultation with Representative Aiman Brown, who is a very anti-gun politician out of the Philadelphia area. whose district has been beset by homicide after homicide with these firearms turning up on almost a daily basis at crime scenes, putting our communities at risk as well as our Second Amendment at risk. Now look at this part. The failure of our Second Amendment community to police our own ranks opens the door for opportunistic politicians to seize on these crimes to advance a gun control agenda. This is demonstrated by the recent introduction of SB 413 in the Pennsylvania Senate to ban these firearm parts kits. We command and support Eagle Arms' decision to terminate the sale of these kits, which were clearly turning up in crime as functional firearms. This is a form of self-regulation that is conducted on a daily basis at FFL dealers across Pennsylvania and the country. Private enterprises like Eagle Arms have every right to control what products are sold at their events. Legitimate vendors at these events support what Eagle Arms is doing. These polymer 80 kits are still available for sale to citizens throughout Pennsylvania and they can purchase them at FFLs, gun dealers, and still order them online from any business including as you know Brownells and Midway and even the manufacturer. But then again, they won't be able to lay down the cash and skirt the process that normal citizens follow. Both Representative Amen Brown and Eagle Arms have collaborated on a decision that will save lives as well as protect the constitutional rights of all citizens without government intervention and restriction. So there you have it in their own words. They're okay with this happening and they seem to have an issue with people being able to buy Palmer 80 kits for cash. From non FFL dealers. I don't know if they're for a background check for polymer kits for things that are not firearms They've kind of I mean crump asked them that a few times and they really didn't get an answer on that But again, this is their press release from FOAC and they're behind this going on because of Crime now again, they said that Eagle Arms can do this. They back it. It's a private entity private gun show. Yep But were they pressured to do it is a question I have and Where again it seems like somewhere. I'm not necessarily saying it's faux act or even eagle arms, but somewhere Someone has a wink wink nod nod deal with anti-gun politicians, and that's just not cool It appears that faux act is okay with this because they're proactively finding a solution To a crime problem in the Philadelphia area related to ghost guns now Alright, I'm not sitting here pointing the finger at anybody saying that they're wrong for their opinion, but what I will say is that as a Second Amendment community, we should not be proactively doing the work of the anti-gun groups for them. Texas area homeowners, if you have a power meter like this on the side of your house, you can qualify. What do I mean? Since this has happened yesterday morning, again, Josh Shapiro is taking a victory lap. You have every town for gun safety, also pointing at this. and saying that this is a great thing and every other gun show promoter in the land should do this. You have Moms Demand Action doing the same thing and calling out the Biden administration to now have a ban nationally and to have the ATF do what is within their power now to go after 80% lowers and DIY kits, etc. And what they're going to do now and what they have been doing is saying, look, a gun rights group even backs this. That will be the battle cry for a national ban. Look, a gun rights group is okay with this in Pennsylvania. So why can't we make that cool across the country? I think, in a way, it was an attempt to find a solution to a problem, but the problem is the criminal mind. Us as gun owners, lawful, law-abiding, constitutional-abiding people, we know that crime is a fact of life. You cannot legislate evil. You cannot legislate the evil thoughts or beliefs or desires in the hearts and minds of men and women. You can't do it. Building your own gun has been legal in this country since the beginning. And prior to that, it's always been legal. Do 80% lawyers end up in crime? Yes, they do. But it's a very small percentage. And the country as a whole should never give up a right for a very small percentage of people, whether we're talking about guns or search and seizure or quartering troops and houses or freedom of speech. Now to me it appears, and I could be 100% wrong, but it appears to me that somewhere whether it's with the Attorney General's office and the gun show promoter or the gun rights group, it appears that somewhere there's a wink, wink, nod, nod type thing going on. And I can't put my finger on it, but I hope that's not the case. We should not be doing the work of the anti-gunners. Period. Is that happening in Pennsylvania? I don't know, but what I can tell you is that a gun show promoter has banned 80% lowers from the rest of their gun shows, something that is 100% legal. America still. I mean this might lead to the national ban, who knows, and a Second Amendment gun rights group is involved somehow and are cool with the decision. So yeah, if you are in Pennsylvania you are probably already know about this. Everybody's talking about it right now, but I just wanted to get this out there. Something stinks and I can't quite figure out what it is. But I don't believe we should as gun right advocates we should never be doing the work of the enemy and Looking for a way to infringe on the Second Amendment. That's just my humble opinion. I could be wrong. Let me know down below What do you think especially if you live in Pennsylvania? Do you think that this is cool kosher copacetic? What do you think this is something that is wrong and? I look forward to reading these down below. Again, kind of like an all over the place video because this scenario as we stand right now is all over the place. You talk to different people, there's a lot of craziness going on. But I wanted you all to know what's going on in Pennsylvania. The big picture is that all of the anti-gun groups, Moms Demand, Everytown, Bloomberg, they've got it, Giffords Group, they've all got this now and they're running with it. And we will not, this is not gonna be the end of it, we will hear this. Going forward this will not be the end of this unfortunately so with that everybody I hope you're having a fantastic day. I don't know again something smells fishy till we see each other again be safe stay vigilant carry a weapon I look forward to seeing your comments down below Please help the shadow man help kill the shadow man here like subscribe if you haven't already share it with your friends leave a comment down below even if it's an emoji For the algorithm I appreciate you all so much more again. Take care. I'll see you on the next one I would recommend anybody that needs the documents stored. Alright, thank you Edward. And for everybody out there, it was good played all the way through. Again, guns and gadgets you need to be hooked up to on a regular basis. And again, he explained the poly-ticks, multi-headed blood sucking insects, and the little prostitutes in Horace and Holly will of course try to, well as long as I can throw you from this way. and course now the other side doesn't do that are you actually by the time we're done you catch one of these uh... quadriplegic homosexual eskimos with pedophilic queer tendencies uh... the pdemic and although they'll ride them right you know until they absolutely just a meal they want to release or or dump on if they're caught red handed with two naked children in each hand and snortin cole wait a minute that's hunter biden that's right now that that won't even be a story Yeah, tell me about it. So again, until the idiot sticks that are supposed to be fake ass conservatives which typically aren't conservatives, the other panty waste leftists, as I've mentioned many times on the air for years, the Republirat party, there's a percentage of them that are just absolute worthless turd rhinos across the board. Even when they try to, oh, they'll flap their y- at the moment something gets serious, they defecate their spine out their bunghole like a meat xylophone and all you see when you turn to look where the hell they go, all you'll see are the bottom of their tennis shoes and those elbows pumping and it'll be three tree lines away. You know how the one tree line's a hundred yards behind you? You'll be seeing the flash of the tennis shoes through the trees and the other trees because there's some sunlight hitting the upper hill that they're finally cresting over there where the other tree line is and their ass is back there so fast you can't even count. you want to do it you know they went through those those first two tree lines to reflect that's what kind of coverage you're dealing with across the board by the first course i have a problem with that i'm just reminding you that you know a lot of people at the at least pie wearing you know yet flappers uh... get away with the s you know the candy arse typical you know dung berries we have no business listening to but they are allowed to gravitate and there's a whole bunch of people that just worship the scam that's all there is to it uh... there is a uh... another piece i have a chance look at what they thank you to uh... harvey for uh... sending it to me but i'm gonna have to save it i have to wait till break time i might go follow up on it you know there's a bunch of carcano car beans out there uh... that are available that cheap but they're right now the cheapest thing by comparison with a were there really like the cheapest thing that's out there a bolt-action rifle however i will remind you If you're to buy one of the Carcanos, you've got to try and find stripper clips. Now you might find a few odd companies, but I would go through everything posted out there, not just searching for Carcano. Look for companies that are gun parts companies. A lot of the places that are out there have odds and ends stuff. And a lot of times, like some of these guys, they bought a pallet of this or 10 pallets of that, and they got the parts they wanted, but they get these oblique parts. Like 15 cases of Carcano's ripper clips. They're in blues, they're in boxes, and they were dusty and they've been in there. They could be brass or they could be steel. The older are brass. If you're familiar with Carcano's ripper clips, they actually were brass originally. Not brass plated, they were brass. I have many of them. The later models were stamped steel and blued. uh... the very last model even worse some were even parker i'd only because it was whatever finish was available i guess i'm whatever part of italy where they were still crank it out those triple clips and loading them off because the amal coms on the stripper clip to the military when they were when they were you know back in the day when the car car was issued the stripper clips came with every box of ammo there was three stripper clips six rounds per you pull about your pollers triple clip out show them the weapon close the boat you got one of the two and you got five of the magazine nice package good way to thank them so the problem the car colors otherwise it is a single shot rifle it's not an inaccurate gala just don't have a really greatest site uh... recommendation i think one of the best right up Now, it's not just right up, it's a tutorial on the Carcano, and I don't disagree with what he said, although it's rather funny that he did say it, because most everybody else has been conditioned not to, but forgotten weapons. If you go to the channel and look up the Carcano video, the latest one I think that he did, where he does an evaluation of the Model 1939. Now, that's not the one that typically you're seeing, which really doesn't make any difference. The 39 is just less sophisticated. not more sophisticated of the older m ninety five m all three m all seven and blah blah blah because there's a whole bunch of attended car beans that are out there or four rifles before rifles are cool they're just like a big long traditional uh... infantry weapons for you know the governor like like the big long full length battle rifle length barrels uh... there a lot you feel out of out there i haven't seen any of the latest patch for a very few most of the car beams or the model thirty nine flash uh... uh... six point five or seven point three five car car i used to shoot both about quite a bit and the rifle itself is incredibly simple but it is also a very court action one of most common mistakes made is that the military rifle you don't baby it you work the end you you'll manhandle the action seriously it's called forward down and you use energy you're not going to break it okay but in the guns and gadgets video or guns and gadgets god forgive me in the uh... uh... forgotten weapons video is a lot for the best of the weapons made world war two and everybody go i'm sure people going why Well, in reality from a manufacturer's point of view and considering what they kept preaching and they now do preach, well, you aren't going to shoot past 200 yards. Well, with that being the criteria as opposed to long range rifle marksmanship, then the M39 is perfect. It fits right in that niche. And the 6.5 car counter round could have been improved. The 7.35 supposedly was. but they dropped it very quickly and stuck with a six point five millimeter pencil bullet now let me point something out about that because it may be everybody does this on the one hand well i want you to think about some of the goofiness here from people well the six point four it was anemic and the uh... thirty-odd six is great all case we have a thirty-odd six all pretty up to the lovely costly overpowered blah blah blah blah blah wait a minute back up here i want you to look at the ballistics of the six point five car car around I want you to go look at the ballistics of the 5.56 NATO round. Go look at the ballistics of the 7.62x39. Now, I would point something out about this. You may have a little less velocity out of the standard load, a little less, a little less. But what size bullet are you pushing down range? what's inside and all the play gave you a big hand the original car carlo load is a pencil bullet you know what a pencil bullet is they're gonna slow round with a round nose on it if the ball round it was nickel-plated typically the first-perverse pattern they were nickel-plated k and nickel-plated uh... uh... steel jacket copper jacket depending on what your europe because you gotta remember that they were progressively shorter and shorter material with a lead core. Okay, so you're talking 110 grain mullet going down range, or 140 grain mullet, depending on which projectile it was that they were cranking out for which gun. And there are variations on this. But here's another wicked thing most people don't know about the Carcano, and I have to keep reminding you all about this, have you ever heard about an arcane load that was built for the Carcano? Well, you typically don't, because here's what the Italian military did to their troops. A frangible bullet is considered to be a no-no with regard to the rules of war, the Hague Convention and the Geneva Convention and the Hague Trees, okay, I got to get that right, the Geneva Conventions, all three, and the Hague Treaty. Now, under this is chain bullet holes. Whatever you want to think about that when I, you know, always, everybody always kind of goes, However, the 6.5 Carcano by the nature of the long length of the bullet, landed itself towards an idea that turned out to be pretty devastating. They made a large quantity of 6.5 projectiles in which about one quarter of the way up from the tip, they scored the inside of the uh... jacket and then they came up another quarter halfway and they scored the jacket again then they did this again and scored on the scored on the inside this is especially critical can't be seen from the outside now what we mean by score is significantly gouge with a tool and i i'm sure was probably got all at once they do one of them to win the three no cuz are cracking up millions of bullets So what they did is they had a tool that went in, and as it was probably pulled back, it was set to depth, or as it pushed in, it's set to depth, and then they did a turn with it, and what it did is it sculpted and cut out half of the metal of the jacket. Now in the next step, when all these jackets were dumped into position, what they did next is they actually cast one, that one quarter with lead. then they cast the next quarter with lead, then they cast the next, and they probably had a higher, either a higher level of tandem antimony, or they went with another base pot metal, because it wouldn't make any difference, it's inside a jacket. But what they did is they ensured that they had the basic weight down and consistency down from bullet to bullet. They then matched the loading when these came out of the factory, when these came out of the production line, not the factory, not the final back door. then what they did, now think about this one, they randomly mixed the rounds in with the other ammunition the Italians were using. So you didn't know when you were pulling the trigger if you weren't sending a frangible round downrange. In other words, it was, and nobody was told that much about it, although the Italians finally figured out when they looked at some of the casualties they produced, because the Italians didn't lose every conflict contrary to the movies. The Italians had a few victories here and there on the boot, more than a few. In fact, in general infantry actions, it took time for us to beat the Italians and the Germans down. And it wasn't just the Germans. The Italians actually fought quite well. So, but you course work for the propaganda, you know, people flapping there, yeah, but anybody who was, for instance, at Monte Cassino, well, yeah, well, the Italians and the Germans held up for that whole period of time. Certainly the Germans were there at the Corps, but the Italians are right there with them. Now, when the Italians had wind, they get a chance to look at the results of the battlefield, and they noticed some really strange things going on, because they were not heavy in automatic weapons. but understand something you do notice they're using a manual rifle uh... have you look at the squad guns that were not normal for the uh... you know the italian military the bretta was one uh... the breeder breeder machine got beautiful gun by the way if the if the english to capture made mount among their vehicles quick as they could And again, this was a very successful machine gun design, but they were not a preponderance of semi-auto or fully auto weapons in the Italian military like they did in other armies. For instance, the Germans were quite prolific with automatic weapons and semi-automatic. US military, well look at the plethora of junk we made. Okay, we had a whole, we had four weapons at any given time, always in service. Carving, Thompson, or a submachine gun of some kind. main battle rifle and the BAR and then there's still the Browning machine gun and everything else stuck in the unit somewhere. So the interesting thing is that they figured out eventually, oh, you know what, when we got some stuff going on here and we really can't, they couldn't control it, they didn't say much, nobody really said much about it, I don't know what if it came up after the war. as part of the way to punish the you know italy and so the german's or somebody could tell you what the front excuse you know the jewish mob slash or boys were looking for an excuse to try and kill off as many europeans they could or a gamble you know i got a feel that about but anyway uh... don't factor now the thing is that this is where is all the car carl amal mike revealed his secret source for six point five by fifty two m m now i'm gonna watch this you might want to watch yourself because if you do have a car connell uh... pay you're up pretty partisan p p u i've told you is cranking out the ammunition and i would point out that if you were thinking about one of the guns they're not weeping off the shelf right now they are moving to a degree but they're not really leap off the shelf everybody's got some why because what i just mentioned number one amo number two stripper clips all the car connell does not have a mouser it is a man lyncher magazine it does not have a mauler internal magazine it is a man venture magazine and that's especially critical to understand with regard to again uh... how to make the weapon work now you can still get the weapon to shoot single shot And again, like I said, if you were looking for a placement gun for just, you know, long, you know, marksmanship purposes or utility guns, if you had some stripper clips, you'd keep it in close to the defense area, for instance, security or backup weapons, you know, auxiliary weapons have stashed at different fighting points, so you have a few extra guns around just there, okay? It would be good for that. The only thing is, again, like I said, we used to buy these things for a bucket of them, for $120. That isn't the case anymore. But they're still the cheapest thing, pretty much, that actually is an inventory. Everything else is five, six, seven, $800 or $1,000. So that shows you the devaluation of your currency, not the increase in value of the guns, really, is what it does. So, anyway, I want to bring it up again. Where is all the Carcano ammo? Mike reveals his secret source for 6.5 by 52 millimeter and that's over on YouTube and it's on Mike B channel. MIKE space capital B, Mike B. And go check to see if there's anything useful there in the way of information. This is posted, okay, today is March 16th. This is posted for March 10th. It's kind of cute. He's wearing... Oh, hey, by the way, when you go watch the video, remember that uniform I told you he'd get for a pretty good price right now? Brand new over at MajorSurplus.com. He's wearing a vegetato uniform. Take a look at it. That's the uniform you'll be getting. And right now guys, again, I'm going to, as long as I'm on Italian stuff, right? Go over to www.majorsurplus.com, www.majorsurplus.com. They are out of California, by the way. And they do have, well, it is pants, jacket, and hat matching, $15, only size large, which is, I think, waist is like, what, 33 to, 39 which is pretty good. They're true size, they're military uniforms, Italian military uniforms, so this is a good purchase. If you need more fatigues, if you're looking for more uniforms, if you're looking for something that kind of, it really isn't that far off even like the multicam from a distance you wouldn't know the difference. Probably the colorations, the colors are rather unique. I like the brown-brown that they came up with. There's a light brown-dark brown crossover working into medium olive green and then darker green along with a little hash of like, almost like it's the, like you said, the multicam, almost like a little bit of a gray-white. But it's random, very, very, very random. And the pattern looks good. uh... it blends well so it is but it's only the size large over there at major surplus now my thought it's fifteen dollars for the fact hat pants insured guys you can buy a pair of pants in fatigues in any kind of pattern even for for fifteen fifteen dollars seriously think about it now you want to buy a quantity of stuff go over there they've got the other items we mentioned like the turkish reversible or reindeer and that is in sizes. We brought that up the other day. Now these are only in size large, but let me point something out. How many troops do you think you're going to have coming in? How many people do you have uniforms set up for? And by the way, they're going to need more than one uniform. Here's another thing for yourself. Try to get three or four sets of these things. This is as cheap as you're going to get something like this for, brand new, out of the box. I don't emphasize this very often, but I'm also, this is where the prices used to be for wholesale. for that uniform but what this also tells me that uniform probably wholesale might be as cheap as seven dollars i don't know remember what it goes from wholesale to retail the price typically double so whatever is going on here they made a deal we have a call or jump in there yes there's a thirty two thirty eight is the uh... the advertised size for that waste on the stands very good okay and again uh... that well remember to bill there's a here's another little trick by the way if you have ever got take the buttons disconnect them fly it over toward the edge a little more and you get about another half-inch if you have to there even more if you need to so yeah that way and again the other yeah remember these are adjustable their standard the beauty you type pants so they have the adjustment straps on the side and if you take a media might still by these seriously you can't get a uniform for this price anywhere get girls to a girl to talk you know talking so whatever it takes but uh... in the other consideration is Remember, I can mention, use the coat if you get these battle blouses. Sew a middle sash cord for the waist above the lower pocket and below the upper pocket. And sew in some buttons. And for all you guys listening, use it as a battle jacket with a liner. If you're medium or small. You know, the neat thing is you can put a swooly pulley under that, sweatshirt under that, whatever you want to for an insulator layer. then still have the field jacket liner buttoned in and you can blouse the thing to keep the wind from whacking around but you just got to do a little sewing however that's something i have been doing i've been buying every 5x if i've been seeing 5x clothing in camouflage which i've told you before guys i've bought out a couple of companies it's unheard of to see 3x 4x or 5x for three dollars a top okay What we can do with those put them right over top of that purple coat you're wearing So your ass doesn't stick out standing here next to me because you make a good bullet magnet right now If that's all you got that's fine. Guess what? I cover your hind end and maybe it is a good coat You've all you got a really great coat there. It's downfield. I think that's wonderful But you know what's gonna get covered with a 5x It's gonna go over everything keep the coat where it belongs still wear junk underneath it. Let's go look like a battle jacket See how that works? And you know what? For $3, $4, brand new, I mentioned these before, they're all gone, trust me, I bought every last one of them. Call them up, how many you got? Bought every last one of them. You know what they were in? ATACs. Normally do that, but again also, you know how ATACs is stupid price. Go look what the ATACs prices are for that camouflage. This Vegetato uniforms, these were going for $80 a piece a year ago. And in reality, they were rare. The Italians don't release much surplus. You know what, the only reason I think this stuff is showing up is because they got screwed with the Corona beer virus scam, like we did. And they're looking for how to find scratch. Well, what do they got? They got inventory. Well, they're going to get as much as they paid for it. Hell no. The actual price, the Italians got further uniforms and surplus that you're seeing that's out there on the market. If you go to Sportsman's Guide, here's a way to understand what I'm talking about. go to Sportsman's Guide, go do a search and go Surplus Italian. Don't put Italian Surplus, but Surplus Italian. And what will pop up in the search is all of the equipment that's Italian junk that can be anything surplus. I don't want brand new from like one of the Schmidlap companies. Well, it's a $180 jacket. No, no, I'm going to show you how Surplus works. take a look at the interesting municipal was that municipal what's garbage workers that yard workers that's uh... street street maintenance older municipal gear yeah right or your cop shops but interestingly enough what's been going on i want you to look at the stuff from italy from france to the same thing as sportsman's guide you use the catalog as a as a uh... as your showcase you tell it works at seven doing for years with you guys Take these things and use that as your showcase so everybody can understand what we're talking about. I'll have to post a picture. Somebody else has posted 50 million pictures of this stuff. So there's no reason to really reinvent it. The idea is point you towards something where you can relate to it. Now, if you'll notice something, I want you to pay attention here. Some of that Italian municipal equipment looks really abstract. Seriously, it looks like, hey, those are like Star Wars second generation uniforms for the next era going into the 22nd century. They really did some interesting stuff with their outdoor gear, their outdoor clothing. But it's their fatigue work gear. Now, after you've looked at that stuff from France and from Italy, I want you to go look at the videos from the Ukraine I've mentioned for the last couple years while the Ukraine has been at war all this time. Now start looking at the clothing that the militia is wearing over there. Son of a bugger! They've been buying Italian and French municipal workers clothing. That patchwork gear where it's two colors, black and green or black and gray. or black and feel brown and i thought you know that's an interesting fatigue pattern i wonder where the hell they got that i assume that the black is like the where areas like for because you know it's not like the inboard side so you make maybe a heavier material but look at those uniforms after you look at the surplus which we didn't have until just recently that particular job that stop not mostly junk but stop all of a sudden, looking at that, I go, oh, so that's where they got that stuff from. And you know why the Ukrainian militia is using it? Because the camouflage is not expensive, but it's more expensive than buying those municipal workers fatigues. Oh! Yeah, if you're poor and you're trying to field an army and you need multiple uniforms, you're looking for fatigues. Remember, I've told you this a million times. You're looking for fatigues. You need stuff that will wear under work conditions. Now, case in point, when you look at all of those Ukrainian battlefields, have you guys noticed that they're smart enough to trench and dig in? Anybody? Do you think those trenches got dug all by themselves? No, probably not. Yeah. You're gonna get dirty, you're gonna get messy, you're gonna get dusty. Hell, like we're in the... Remember, March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb. Last couple of, well last week especially here, we had lots of wind kick up and it's just dry enough. I mean I came up in from outside working on some of the stuff over at other locations. I had grit in the hair, grit in everything, dusty stuff coming out of the eyes and it's just in the air. And you're going to get dirty. On top of that, you're shoveling stuff, moving stuff, digging stuff, tunneling stuff. Okay, you're gonna get dirty. We don't want the uniform so caked with dirt and quadded with dirt that the pores of the cloth are saturated and the stuff breaks down because the dirt in your clothing works like sandpaper. It's why you'll notice your uniforms start to look fuzzy, especially because, well, wait a minute, let's think this through, your uniforms are 50-50 cotton polyester blend. Now the cotton, it's not helping that at all. But the plastic, what happens to plastic? It frays. It gets polished. It looks shiny. That's like those clothes we're talking about there. Yeah, see how that works? So just a heads up, you need more clothing. Now you can't really beat the price in this. I'm banging the gong on it for a reason. Now here, I'll just challenge you. Go look. go go look over sportsman's guide go look over at colman's dot com i've been doing this i've been trying to find eight cheap reasonable i don't care if they're used pair of all the green fatigue pants in a mix of sizes i bought out several companies bought five hundred eighty pairs of pants for for one militia unit here bought another what close to two thousand we bought off the one company that we bought did by camouflage from a company down in in georgia and i think we ran their inventory out may have been the backup online We exhausted them. I saw the pictures. I saw what they had It was like 580 some mix from size extra small to size 3x and 4x at the top end Like 500 a some uniforms about three dollars and sixty cents for camouflage uniforms can't find anything like that now just before the curve when everything started where it is now where everything's being grabbed so the other problem with competition is this there's no money out there because of the corona beer virus scam and what money we had you know what we'll see the jackasses in washington are going to raise the taxes so that they can what let me ask you all something guys they just had the corona beer virus uh... scam bill that went through how much of that one overseas How much of that garbage had absolutely nothing to do with anything? Had no business spending the money on it. Now that's the Jewish mob's way of laundering money. They send it overseas, the little Jewish bankers in Pakistan, the Jewish bankers over there, wherever, whatever country it hits in, they already got the digits in play, they go right over to Haifa and Tel Aviv and they're putting in some new solid gold bathroom fixtures by the third day. That simple. so we're going to read the tax on your because wall we've got other money to wander and then overseas digit so that all these people can you know stuff their wallets even thicker they're not thick enough both bank accounts for the uh... jewish mob are aren't burgeoning enough don't you know you just don't understand Of course, on the other hand, most all of you are having a tough time paying your bills. That was a limitation about having the Coronavir virus checks coming out. Oh, and by the way, remember that is something you get charged for and taxed back on later. Again, just a heads up on this. This is where, again, the balance is. So why there are some things when they pop up like this, I know you're short. Okay, this is why, like I said, pennies instead of dollars, wherever we can. Why? Well, because your ammunition costs dollars now. Does it if you're coming to the table late you better figure out some way to minimize in one side so you can maximize Really where the most important components are on the other? That's really the problem. We got here. So anyway, and this all started talking about the car, kano ammo Where the car this is a video over on YouTube. This is a video over on YouTube This is a video over on YouTube YouTube Where is all the Carcano ammo? Mike reveals his secret source for 6.5 by 52 millimeter exclamation point. This is dated for March 10th. By the way, subscribe, give them a thumbs up, why not? You're going to revisit. Mike B is the channel. and uh... they've got these got pretty cool fire in the background a lot of the typical surplus you'd see starry's car carlos look like a couple of grega bear baller uh... you'd be able to go to the background and uh... i was a more than one of the starry straight poles and another car carla over shoulder there i can see anyway need to go uh... now next communications i want to touch on this real quick we're almost the top of the hour guys you had to say anything you don't have to send a signal per se to be sending a signal let me tell you okay which remind you of the story everybody like to really kill they're talking about the civil war had this old man a she was a uh... black woman she was a a wall wash lady and she would be scrub of the clothes for the command on the confederate side down south there over the river and everyday when uh... after a certain point in time she come out religiously like clockwork and she would lay out on the laundry line the clothing that she had scrubbed that day and other you know tablecloths and all kinds of fun stuff Interestingly enough, on the other side of the river was a guy with binoculars and he had a sketch pad. And by watching what the person put up in the way of laundry laid out on the laundry lines, it was a semaphore code. And she spelled out and gave information step by step, hour after hour, for that day as she hung the laundry up on the laundry line. No flares, no lights, no boom toys, no special technology, just laying a handful of items on a line, hanging them on a line, and dot dash, dot dot, dot dot dash, take a pic of whatever you would want to use as a seminar. Remember, with Semaphore, uh... in the navy you have flags or use the two-flag system and use a code signal system with your hands right or if the electronic cell before that the most sophisticated where you to cheat cheat cheat you remember you have the shutter you've seen at the old movies still available today So in or it's blinking lights, take your pick. But that's what we do sophisticated. We're talking no electronics, no special fanfare. All you do is figure it's somebody else's task to get across the ridge, up on the hill, over across the river and see what you've got on the clothesline. Now you don't repeat it. Every time you put the new batch of clothes up, another message is going up. And when that one's done, they should know that as the clothes dry, you're gonna come out, take the clothes off. When you hang the new batch of clothes, that woman was putting out another message. Wow! How dare you? Yeah, how dare you? How dare you? Yeah, cough, cough, heck, what the hell is she spreading? I don't know, it's something about climate change. Remember, don't forget, build a cat. Greta is build a cat, crack, build a cat's illegitimate daughter. Gack, how dare you, how dare you, start. Yep, build a cat. So anyway, remember, be creative. How many ways can you do this? You can be working out in the yard just because a bucket hangs somewhere. It's a message for one person. Another piece of, well, you know, equipment laying in a particular spot with the crane up as opposed to the crane down. It can be the umbrella open on the picnic table as opposed to the umbrella closed on the picnic. Just a matter of creativity on your part. Remember, the chair is against the wall. Has a long mustache. John has a long mustache. That's another phonetic code. Well, the chair is against the wall. the chair is against the wall jon has a long mustache jon has a long mustache you know that works but even less sophisticated also there's old martha do a laundry again movement he's like clockwork which is really great to very productive we get all the laundry done by the way of the amount they got a thing happened really it did if you're not familiar with all of the horror Horror stories about rocket attacks and mortar attacks and how accurate they were for a reason Because the troops are stinking all a lot of troops to stinking lazy washer on clothes. You got to buy a mama's on Mama's not working for uncle ho Mama's job is to pay out the inside the compound and not do it. So it's obvious You got to do it. You know the smart ones never got caught right That mama found just plodded along. She knew that a half step was as good as a full step. She didn't have to make sure that she was very carefully pacing things out. Let me point something out about that. How many of you, I've mentioned this many times, we're almost to the break here, how many of you have done cross-country orienteering? How many of you that are former military have been pacing men? Now, you do math in your head. You know how to calculate your pace going downhill? Do you know how to calculate your pace going uphill? Do you know how to calculate your pace cross-country day, night? And what are the differences? Ah, remember, you walk in different ways and we're still using cross-country technique, not road march consistent. And this is where the paceman works very carefully with the map coordinator. The team leader, or the fire team leader, squad leader, just the orientation team leader, the straw boss for the moment. And between the paceman, the map reader, and the man with the clock, you should be able to go pretty well anywhere in bat-dark conditions. And they'll almost think you're a bat if you got your act together. That compass man, by the way, is really anyway we have a lot of work to do we are at the top so for everybody out there will remind you if you can take the time to donate to liberty tree radio w w w dot liberty tree radio dot four m g dot com w w w dot liberty tree radio dot four m g dot com and when you get there go to the donate key you can donate any amount you can get a regular donation cycle all of it would help okay we're at top dot four hour Yes to the New World Order and we're on the march both day and night We had the power on liberty and we had the time to get rid of the Constitution. Where more innocents are killed called gun-free zones, we're gonna beat you. We're gonna vote you out of office or suck on my machine gun. What are we doing? Politicians. No, okay. Just get any blunt objects together, alright? If you get corners, put the fashion in the head. That seems to work out. Keep together, stay sharp, and follow me. I had a dream the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said, we fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. And your Christian values can't be taught. According to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press. And you pay attacks you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken some numbers and you've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children will be married. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? Both sons of the Republic arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God-given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright as Iowoki vanished in the mist from whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trampled each God-given right, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Dill the land of the free. Real quick, before we get any farther, that video I was mentioning, I want to say thank you to our friend for sending it. However, it really doesn't offer any information. Where to get not that I could see I did a real quick readers digest version and all it was was lamenting and doing the oh in three to five years You'll have some ammo again And it's like well, okay. Yeah, whatever wish in one hand defecate in the other and see which one get which one gets full first however What did show up because I did go to that. Thank you Lord is m thirty eight car car being brilliant or rubbish this is the video was done three years ago at forgotten weapons and basically what he reinforces what i've said for years about the car car on especially when it used to be uh... you could buy buckets of them for nothing ammunition i was getting military animal for about two or three cents around in the stripper clips And by the way, the latest thing is they're calling it N-clips. They've had to change the nomenclature. You will not find them called N-clips or D-clips anywhere in any vocabulary for the last, you know, 67 years. They're Carcano stripper clips. That's what they're called. That's what they've been called. uh... it's like somebody's trying to change up the more you know what the apartment will be a particular your skill but they're using a we are right okay well i've been handling things for my when nobody wanted to buy car car laws i bought car car you could ask edward okay uh... yeah well i was a little more shooting people put your point and by the way shooting cheap people in cheap and and here's the other thing the car carlos Before the big influx of SKS's and AK's which were very reasonably priced when they came in from China, I would point out that the Carcanos, the Enfields, the Model 1917 US Military Enfield were all still very very reasonably priced at way under $100. In fact, a lot of you guys listening are carrying Model 1917 Enfields and you're smiling right now because you know who you are. Back when we were rounding them up for $65 and $55 apiece, then they did creep up to about $100. But these are 30-06 U.S. Military Eddie Stone, Winchester, uh... and fields you know slash take a break three manufacturers uh... but eddie stone was the cheapest because nobody want yeti stone luisville was popular so i was getting the eddie stone carby or carby the eddie stone battle rifle m nineteen seventeen for fifty five to sixty sixty five dollars all day even when the others like the winchester went up to all about ninety dollars a gun a lot of you guys love that rifle you will come off it now you want because what gets what go to the price for one of those it's a world war one u.s. military battle rifle and uh... car condos they were three times no three times less the cost actually if not well it's like i said i would buy ten twelve fifteen of those for ninety two hundred and twenty dollars and usually somebody throw in a couple extra guns just for the fun of it couple times i bought a clutch of this way you know i got a couple more of their take those two i didn't pay attention it was like give me an an infield number of smelly an smelly and uh... another gun for like a hundred twenty dollars and those were the sks is of the day of the car car always i said many times you know what if that's a title comparable gun to carry you can't really break it uh... it get take a it takes a lot of abuse and the one thing they did figure i mean the italian's when they can when they perfected the model thirty eight uh... a lot of people look at real quick and just without seeing the magazine well area also with the mouser or like the K98 variant of some kind. And again, that's not uncommon. Also, when a lot of people looked at their Carcanos, they would think of them that they were another one of the Mausers. The earlier, anywhere from the 91s modified to the 93s, 95, 96 Mauser, and they would, they'd assume, okay, just it happened. Because again, a lot of the Mausers are made in 6.5 caliber, okay? And not everybody was paying attention to what they had in their hands. not complaining just pointing out history okay but that's why there's a lot of car panels are going to come out of the woodwork because there are braces and braces and brace a little by the way and was triple clips another thing i don't like about that video it does the wall on the table order all you know what that's a stupid comment if this country supposedly is rich enough to pose with nothing going on there is no such thing as hoarding the only place where you hear that term is where commies or asshat socialists are in charge and they've made production you know uh... you know we've got dropped in the toilet like you see right now where you have piswilly incompetent socialist in the government that be that want to be commie so bad they're propping at the mouth and your economy gets you know get flushed and then everything becomes short supply but to try and desperately hide that will just don't buy too much or if this country was strong of the country stable i don't care we pick something should be able by as much as you want after all it is america right What they do mark is they create artificial scarcity and then anybody who has a normal amount is considered a hoarder Right and that's that that's propaganda. It's why I also commented on that video when I during the break I watched it real quick and It's like okay. I've made the comment, you know in a free country or if this was truly a strong America that word hoarding doesn't exist but at the fact that you're parroting what your enemy is using in the way of vocabulary is a stupid act and You're worrying! It's like there is no such thing. In fact, I don't care what the hell you buy. She has a problem with that. I'm an American. I don't care what the hell you buy. If you want to spend your money on whatever, congratulations. If you got there before I did, you're smart. You know, that's what they want. You're told you're stupid because you're buying the old, but then all of a sudden there's none available. You, I deserve. Now, I'm going to tell you something. I had this conversation with one of my close relatives here about another conversation from somebody else. that he had a he was talking to and during the pandemic thing why are you the gas mask and the conversation went from i'd need a gas mask not my not my not my relative somebody else it went from i need it too i deserve it you have a gas mask and the next step ready to come out of his mouth was why even deserve your gas mask But that's where this, if you again, you talk to these Fruit Loops long enough people and the rest of what's on their little small brain comes out into the public venue. You shouldn't have that, ammo. Or if you do, I deserve it. You don't. Or you bought too much. What do you mean, bought too much? This is America, right? There's nothing wrong with the economy, right? Everything's right as rain. So if we want to go out and spend our money on whatever we want to, that shouldn't be a problem, should it? Except that when we do that, it demonstrates the intentional fabricated failures across the board that they don't want you to catch onto until they pull the plug. There's the problem. That's what they don't like. It's like I told you guys, there's no plan for coming after the guns. Oh, they just passed three different bills in the house like bang, bang, bang. And they're all gun grab bills. Bang, bang, bang. But they don't have any agenda, they don't have any plan, you need all just go into brain fart, go stupid, you're all dimwits, right? You're all gonna go stupid now. And by the way, there are enough other idiot sticks out there. Oh, don't worry about it. You guys don't need to buy all that ammo. Why don't you just... Well, I'll tell you what. Just in case we'll buy all this ammo, and then if we need this ammo, once they decide to do the little hairy eyeball crazy thing they're gonna do, then we're gonna shoot their little hairy eyeball arse, aren't we? Well, you can't do that. Yeah, we can. In spades, every last one of them, once we start, you don't stop. Okay? Just that simple. That's where it needs to be. I would point out again, too, again with communications, we have talked about lasers. We have talked about using semaphore, as we did earlier, and I believe that that is something that you all need to keep in mind, you know, simple lighting systems. but you don't want it out in the open and exposed and you want to keep it as directional as possible. Always remember that you need it as directional as possible. So either cardboard tube, plastic tube, PVC pipe, you cut three or four inches, you put it in the side, mount it so it's centered, but you mount it and then camouflage everything. Give it a nice coat of brown-green-gray, give it some subdued colors so your little signaling device doesn't stand out as a white piece of plastic pipe. And again, what you do is you point it towards the objective, you signal, and you're down. And when you're looking for the other guy, remember, you wait for your response with a confirm they received. If they send a repeat, do a quick repeat, but don't do a third. If there is a request for a confirmation with a repeat, you're also, best bet, move 20, 30 feet or 40 feet from the location where you were standing. Why? three on a match is very bad luck yeah because your friend over there it might not be your friend or you could be your friend with somebody who don't know and those people have called in something because now they've got a great on you and by the way there and you read them but you don't stay on location now remember that they can adjust players just as quickly as they fire but that gives you enough time to shut down again when you do stand from any point that you're going to try to put here the couple of little secrets heavily wooded area. Roll in terrain. Why? Well, you only come up to the crest of the of the of the rail, you point at the target area, which can be a ridge, it can be a building, it can be look, you know, for instance, I've said many times of the laser, have them open up a door on a barn and you paint the inside wall on the far side where nothing can be seen from outside the building. open up a room or target a room in a structure half a mile, a mile, two miles away. You can send a signal that way with a laser painting inside, especially these better high power lasers. You can flash an area inside. Everybody can see the signal. They can record it. You're finished. Now on to other things. As soon as the last dash or dot is done, then you're shutting down and the rest of your team has already turned to move and you unask the AO immediately. In doing so, remember, that area across the way, you're on the reverse slope. You're not on the top or crest, you're on the reverse to the crest. You send the signal, you drop down and turn left or turn right immediately. You back off the ridge and turn left or turn right. You do not go run back and in line with the location you were sending the signal to. Why? Because as you move away from the ridge, you're not going to have the protection of the berm. And with bullet drop and somebody doing a lazy dog using your laser point as the benchmark, they fire over the ridge and take their chances on strafing down the re-escape line where you fall straight back from your position. so you go back only so many steps and immediately run a tangent and left and tangent or right away from the uh... from the ball location where you were sending the signal all things you have to remember your job is is a little more sophisticated and complicated that you might imagine And if you want to really live to survive to see the end of the battle and the war, the idea is to have all these things in the brain pan already working for you. Put junk between you and direct fire whenever possible. It's called cover. Cover can be concealment, but concealment isn't necessarily going to be cover. Cover stops bullets. It reduces energy. It reduces or stops an incoming something. Now remember, I also mentioned indirect fire. There could be something 600 yards downrange there, or a little less, that goes like a 40 millimeter grenade launcher. Now I'm going to tell you if it was me, and I thought I could, I'm going to eyeball one in. That's a long shot. Hell yes. And I'm going to take it. Why? If I can make it difficult for you, and you're somebody I'm hunting, in addition, everybody else is going to be dumping stuff downrange, if that's what I got, and I can't call up a mortar? Hell yes. Any of you ever do any long shoot work with 40mm M203 or M79? Think about it. Guys, this is all stuff that's part of the inventory that you need to remember. It's going to be there. Another thing here real quick with semaphore signaling, as we pointed out, another little trick with infrared LEDs is you post an infrared LED on a couple of states you uh... conduct tape of together using map mob handles broom handles pvp pipe ideal you want to break it down if you duct tape it you gotta you know break whatever you've picked together uh... if you are smart you can actually use a couple of pvp pipe fittings run a line up, run a line that's going to be twice the length, your upper and lower handle. When you want to run, you're going to drop it, pull it back down. You turn and as you're moving, break it down so it's half the height, which would be two four-foot sections. You're rolling up your wire around that. You've disconnected your power source, and now you're un-assing the AO, pumping leather and moving the elbows to get away from wherever you just sent the signal from. So again, be creative. How many different ways can you do this? purely as many as your mind can come up with and i don't need to know all of them but again little little things to remember learn from the mistakes of others you won't live long enough to make them all yourself which is why we want to make sure that uh... we have a some pre-established concept of how to avoid getting bagged and tagged when the time comes Oh, let's see, other things with regard to antenna wires, someone is asking me, guys, any wire can be antenna wired. There is no, you know, there's some, well, depending on how much power you put down the line, using, say, a little piece of telephone wire, it's going to get warm. Okay, it depends. So there is a restriction there that you want to use a little heavier gauge whenever possible, but... It's like today, I just got 180 foot of 4 strand copper telephone wire. I wouldn't want to go buy it, but I got it for free and also got a couple of extension cords now. I've got an extension cord, the one that I picked up, it was broken, probably 70 footers, what I calculated, what was it, 10 fathoms. I counted 10 fathoms. and so a little more than that probably was there because of the second piece. Well, what I'm going to do is take and pull another cord here I use for utility work that's getting kind of tired. And I'm going to pull the plugs off of it, the ones that are actually, you know, they're going to go on this other extension cord. Then I'm going to take the copper wire I got here and I'm not going to waste it. But if need be, I could take that wire and spool it up because it's a 100-foot extension cord. and I could use that for... ...antennicates. There's no reason not to. In fact, there's a bare ground, which is really great. It's copper. Now, I can get a little more sophisticated. Not everybody bothers with this, but you could take that bare wire and even give it a little light coat of Krylon flat paint of some kind. Which is not bad. If I was going to hang it and leave it, like we've talked about leaving antennas in positions with a... a guy wire, you know, tension system already set up to go, so all you do is walk up to the position, grab hold of your leads, plug them into your fixture, tighten down the nuts, power up, and you're going to town. You are only there for so many minutes, the time it takes to run the signal three times, and then you stop, disconnect, and you're unasked in the AO and moving on down the road. In fact, your policy may be only to broadcast once from that location. One time. and only once anyway. From that point forward, you're moving on to another radio signal point to send out long range signal communications. Now, it's the job of the catcher to hit that signal. It's not my job to confirm that you're listening. This is another rule about tactical communications, and especially with long range, say, intelligence reports. Guys, it's the job of the people with bigger, better equipment that are supposed to be in command. to pick up what it is that you're sending out provided you know how to use your equipment the first place okay so this is where random radio antenna caches like that can be established virtually all over your area of operation but they'll only be used in fact you have a map you'll go in use it and then you highlight it with yellow Then you go to another location and you use it and you highlight it in yellow. Then you go another location six, eight miles down the road for the next event and you highlight it with yellow. But you also have a blue and a green marker. Now you go through every wire station you've used for the process in your area of operation with unconventional or paraconventional. And then down the road, once you've gone through every site, you come back to the first of the yellow markers, which is also tagged as number one, but that marker is already, that number is already on the page. That's what marks where the antenna is. You can come back to that and also change up your patterns. You're not doing a pattern that will be consistent. You can jump to other locations. But now you take your green highlighter and tag off with a green highlighter. go through every one of those antenna stations again randomly and not in the order you did the first time and then you can come back with a blue marker and start that over if you're going to be in that area of operation for any period of time or for that long now you got to be aware because even that is a limited pattern and after the first cycle the enemy might have a tick board that's just like the one you have on the piece of paper there so this is where prior proper planning prevents poor performance you have to pay attention and listen to an operand a curse have your counterintelligence process where you are collecting the data that the enemy is perhaps in pending or with the technology that they're utilizing you can identify a pattern that matches what you are working to do and that means that you change your project up altogether but remember when you do it in a cash is new prior to me you probably will only use them once You may even have a policy where you're just going to have them set up with bungee cord or with throwaway cordage so that when you're done with the signal, you cut the paracord, the bungee cord, the chicken wire, whatever you're using, and roll up that copper wire and take it with you because now you're going to set up another antenna cache that you're not going to use when you go to the next location. You're going to set up another cache. What we mean by cache is a pre-deployed antenna. with other equipment possibly on-site shovels water whatever you have cached underground but it's a radio relay point Well another thing real quick There are a lot of different surplus weapons still available out there in a mix in terms well, that's what surplus is to say Not surplus, but new imports but from countries that are you know basically being prostitutes or whores for us right now like turkey there are there or that they're they're getting special treatment because they're working with the oil boy jewish mafia to murder the syrians so for the moment those dirty or they're getting whatever the hell they want uh... including importing stuff that nobody else can are korean allies i want to point something out if you go over to classic firearms right now classic firearms has how many turkish guns available let me ask you something how many south korean guns do you see listed there who's been our longer ally Anybody? Who's been our ally for a longer period of time? South Korea or those Turks that really kind of get wishy-washy or go back and forth between one scam or another over the last 60-70 years. You know who's more reliable? South Korea's been more reliable. You know who can't bring guns into America? South Korea can't bring any of their very fine firearms into the United States. day will can't bring any other government here but those dirty horror turks all p o s is a kentucky junk on a con america right now look for a pin down there will coach a mafia operators there that you know they're not most of their israelis that are running israeli according turkey no flash coach or mafia all that they have no problem they do whatever they want amazing But you can't get a Daewoo rifle, and you can't get a Daewoo pistol. And both of the weapon systems that are available, by the way they make them beautiful. Look at all the semi-automatic evil wicked bad, uh, shotguns coming from Turkey. But you can't buy the Daewoo magazine-fed shotgun from Korea. Which one's been built longer and is established to be a good weapon system? The Korean gun. They've been around for 30 plus years. I remember seeing those back in the late 80s, early 90s. Yep, they came in for a short time there. We tested the, I'll tell you what, we would have had as many Daewoo rifles and then eventually probably more Daewoos than AKs had they been accessible. We bought the first of the Daewoos that came in and I used them and opt for. and we intentionally abused those rifles. You know, everybody talks about, I don't clean them, and I don't do this. Well, we intentionally did that. We want to see how long would it take to screw up one of these Daewoo rifles. We would put the Hollywood Blanket adapter on them, and I wanted to follow them up. Now then, once we followed them up, because you were using them for training fire, we'd take the Hollywood Blank Adapter out, and then we'd put the Flash Hider back on. And when we were doing range training, live range training, we wanted to see how many misfires, jams, malfunctions we'd get from those Daewoo rifles. And we had all three variants. We had the folding stock with the standard barrel. We had the long barrel model, which was kind of like a marksman or a squad gun. and then we had the standard rifle with the standard stock and we had multiple examples of each okay now guys the guns that we chose to be the you know the black brigands these guns never malfunctioned now we were walking this i said that your government gave me i would probably with the one gun we've heard eight thousand rounds through it and this is a standard rifle standard day will five five six uses air fifteen mags it has a cake a tight gas system uses AR-15 internal parts so it's cheap to run, right? We ran 8,000 plus rounds. I know that they fired more after that, but we were logging it and after a while I was like, man, this thing just works. But we fired 8,000 rounds without cleaning that gun and we'd never had a malfunction. We never had a failure to feed. We never had anything choke up on the gun. So basically it performs like a potato digger AK. And needless to say, it's in 556, so the advantage is it has all the best features of the AR-15. It's why they won't let anybody build a gun like that in the US. Here's another thing, why not just make a copy of the Daewoo right here in America? Oh, you know why? Think about this. Well, that would be expensive, really. The receivers are no more complicated than the AR-15 to make with CNC machinery. All the internals, all the critical wear internals are US military parts. And the magazine well is built to handle the standard AR-15 magazine, which means your perishable ammunition, which is most critical, is 5.56. The magazines are M16. The bolt and extractor and ejector are all M16. And everything else is, guess what? It works like a singer's sewing machine. Really did, okay? We can't have those. I bet I figured out how we can, Mark. We call it the gay-woot. Gay, G-A-Y. And then we paint it pink with some paint that just washes off when you get it. How dare you not bring it to another country. How dare you? How dare you? Exactly. Hey Mark, you know what gay manufactured firearms in South Korea are not being allowed in America. We need to drop that one That's a good idea. Go ahead call or jump in there. Hey, it is Todd in Orlando a couple things I wanted to talk to you about tonight I'm not able to find information exactly on it people talk about bits and pieces the two things I want to talk about is In regards to linear amps, okay, because some of these 12 volt linear amps They will have an off-on switch a preamp switch. They'll have maybe a switch for a.m. And single sideband and it's a little bit more sophisticated. They'll have you know a plate Tuner and load or maybe a switch from what and you want to go to but most of these that are being sold right now that people can pick up the 12-volt ones What I've heard was that You have different inputs on these and some of these lower drive amps will have a different input now some of these better ones like the Dave made amps will have you know, they'll say that you can run it from One watt all the way up to 100. It doesn't matter and a couple of them I've seen these guys are running it. It's a thousand watt amp They may run it like a hundred and twenty five hundred and fifty amps are saying that's not good But they're still getting thirteen hundred watts. I'm not really looking to get that. I'm just looking to get, you know, like these Palomar's or these off-brand that show up. The problem with them is they're all used. Some of them are rebuilt, but none of them mention what the input wattage is. And the problem I'm hearing is that some of these watts or some of these amps, if you push more than, you know, 10 or 15 input watts, although the output watts may be three or 400, you're still going to burn up the amp. So my question is, just to be clear, Is there a way that we can find out what the input water should be on these amps so that we don't burn them out? And more importantly, what kind of regulated power supply should be running on these, whether a Micronta or a PMC, which would allow there to be enough power so that it doesn't burn out as well? Well, first of all, one of the things that's good about going to the ham fest is that usually there's somebody that's a builder. Okay, be quite honest. a lot of the different systems way as you get pointed out a lot of them have no a couple of different factors tied in number one when were they constructed in the production process because you know it's like i've talked about you know that you know the unit and uh... one one fifty six you know the deals radio service the same radio over again but there's the e a the a e the a i the b c the cake you i don't know how to make a couple of letters but what it comes down to the open the hood There are reconfigurations, and now what I personally believe it is, is it's based on what kind of surplus junk was laying around. That wasn't junk, when I say that I don't mean junk, but what surplus it was laying around that met the specs of the design. So one of the problems you've got with the French since your amps is that you may have started out, probably started out roll in output. intentionally because they wanted to reach a medium that was more sensible for operation. What happened, especially with the older rigs, is as CB became, you know, the blossoming industry that it was, the first thing that all Americans wanted was to be able to talk to Bolivia, even though they didn't need to. And because of this, because Americans like big cars with big engines, they want big calibers with Magnum powder, the same was true with radio. So what happened is, they may not have changed but who will it could have done these are because the the components can be built handle that you know down beyond wherever you add the upgrade uh... the biggest thing is to try and find somebody in the industry at that one of the uh... hamfest that does cb i mean to where you go to his table purchase rack and stacked the real estate is because uh... there there's always a guy down at the uh... over the northern indiana down at uh... or the uh... university is oklahoma others like you as a uh... ham fest in their way not be having a cause of the well they probably do it indiana what am i talking about they probably are doing in indiana there's a couple of guys that show up there that usually have six to eight tables of nothing but rebuilt cbs and affect it really one guy but he has a couple of uh... demi apprentices at work with him He stacks them up like cordwood. He has usually three or four tables that have radios for $10 to $20 apiece, and he hasn't just listed that way. Whatever's here, $10 to $20. Over here, $45. Over here, $100. The ones that are the basic duck boxes by the old standards are the ones that are cheaper. Well, this guy also does do desktop units of many different types. And he's been at a radio for a long time. he would probably be the one that would have more between his ears on the cyclic process of you know knowing when and what unit was was installed because that that's really where we need to go for this now you could meter it to determine what would only have to do that you should be able to get a readout off of the uh... bar tag you know the ball on the bar brace that goes over the unit there that particular in that particular fixture it should have a code number and i was about that matches anything in the u.s. who knows but if you're lucky it actually is going to have manufacturer it should have even you know obviously location was that you know you i think of america was at hong kong was it you know taiwan and it probably has an end code number one good thing is that most of these these companies actually have the data out there on of on their web i'm not sure the website but uh... uh... but not a of of video website but more like a data website where you can cross reference and the reason that that exists is because like i said the reason these companies did this why you see variances the way you do is because what we have a fish midlap four or two they're available here they're brand new they were using them in an Arnold radio they've got four thousand of them we can get them for three dollars less than buying the brand new are you know which it we've been buying but by those and they do and since they conform within the power you know the power output specs within the old they would could be up to a twenty thirty five to thirty five percent increase in power output still be sufficient to work with the existing circuit the existing system they'll adopt that but then maybe the next time they went to the purchasing board because we ran through that four thousand faster expected Two things happened, the customers wanted a little more output, they had feedback from some of the guys that are distributors, so then they started looking for something that was more of a racehorse. And in doing that, the other thing you have to watch is you can also pay attention downstream from wherever they install something like this, look to see if there's a difference from one board to the next in terms of the number of resistor packs. and or diodes that are added and it could be a combination by the way to it don't forget a few disk capacitors here and there but the idea is that they can regulate by modifying the circuit minimally now in many cases with these radios you'll notice this when you lift up a little box boxes you got more spots for parts in there than they have part Have you ever noticed that? You get a circuit board and you open it up and you look at a circuit board that's cluttered with junk, but it's not as cluttered as you thought it was going to be. It's like half full, and you're looking at that board and, well, wait a minute. There's a little circuit node on the board that goes to here, and they even drilled it. And here's another one that goes right across for a minute. Now, it looks like they'd normally have a diode or a resistor or something there. It looks like it's bridged in as long. It's not a capacitor because they're usually pretty close. And it's weird it doesn't do anything. Well, what was it doing? You know, that's been my question all along. It's like, hey, this is really neat. When I was even younger, I didn't know as much about electronics. I was like, okay, I have to ask Dr. Smith, you know, Mr. Smith, my teacher, why is it that this is going here and it does nothing and this is going here? And by the way, they printed the board. And then they etched the board and they even included the metals there and then they even drilled the hole and said, well, it's real simple. They figured out that they didn't want to use this, this, this part and this piece because they didn't want to filter it. They figured they could accept the noise or they want either up or down with power. And so they went to another component downstream. Always think, next step. Okay. So the next step can help you to identify the component's value a lot of times. And again, if you have multiple units, this is why I like to have them pile some units up and then start working on them, because I can, you know, you can lay them down on the workbench, you open them all up side by side, like you got a line of Ferraris or a line of Chevys or a line of Hugos, and you look at them and go, wow, okay, now let me do something. And the first thing I do is I look at the nomenclature. Now, before I even lift the hood, I put all the ones with the same nomenclature like that, A-I or A-B or D-C, you know, cobra, 123-A-X. What's the difference between an A-X and a D-X or an E-X or a B-X? And it's like, oh, so you put those together. Now, when you lift the hoods on the radios, you look at them and you go, oh, okay, there's a difference here, okay, here's the main, here's my main issue. I'll start from, say, the microphone. work my way in for the microphone station and go, okay, what have I got? What's missing or what is there more of? So that's another way to identify what's in the station with any given component. It doesn't mean it's what it is. When you start at a certain point, you're looking for what is it, what's regulating it or what fails to regulate it. You see what I mean? Yes, so let me ask you this if you had your choice and you had you know Whatever money you wanted to spend it wasn't an issue Would you rather go for the solid-state amps or the tube amps which one's less finicky? Which one would have more water? They're actually the two went full circle remember I mentioned before tube is really the better way to go Because of one thing and it's really true. It's plug-and-play Sure. You know what I mean? I like the idea that whenever we had to work on any of it, one-on-one, let me point out, the 45 amp linear amp that I've got right now that's sitting in the truck, that's an all tube unit. Well, not all tube, it's got mixed solid state and you hit tube, but it's primarily tube and it's older format, real format solid state. And the reason I like that is because before I got that way back in the 80s when my kids were a lot younger, that particular unit i was able to know i'd went through and identified all the ball of the tubes and i've watched for shipwreck like old televisions and stuff like that which you don't see it much now but i made up little kids that have the tubes in the pain on amalcad and all the all of the uh... spare parts including a lot of solace take components which i just added to the other day because i've bought bought from one of the you know they've had a bunch of sales every time i watch a sale looking for co so i bought a disk of pastors uh... and i hope which i've warned about over and over again the eyes by diodes whose dial to the person's gonna fry on anything and in fact uh... that's the next thing you watch for but the uh... the two-person it's unplugged put out the counter do it continuity tester to tester check to see if everything first of all if it's even running and then with the tube tester check to see what its value is to determine you know if that's the part that's causing the problem so it's even a poll test the individual circuit so to speak that too and then put it back that component back in play to do its part now here's a little trick i'm gonna remind you about something to you get frustrated you get you cut corners remember that when you handle the tube first of all wash your hands well okay what you're going to open up and play doctor if you're going to handle tubes it's just like handling lighting wash your hands nowadays we have these really cheap will be all surgical gloves you know like latex rubber gloves for inspection or for those who are incredibly paranoid about the corona beer virus scam And when you handle anything, when you take it out, check it. But here's another thing, clean it up. Clean the tube up. Also, be careful, get a small set of brushes and clean all of those contacts and look for oxidation. Now don't grind. Remember, this is like doing machine work. All you want to do is clean off and make sure the oxidation, if there is any, is moved away. So we don't grind and we don't scrape. We lap. we just take a not not make them paper green pad is really good really fine fine fine fine green pad and just haven't tried to pull the that lead out but remember you got this little court of copia little crown if they turn the tube upside down clean those connections off because i think most common problem it's not that the tube is degraded it that dust crud and oxidation of built upon those little contacts so you do that first and lay the tube off to the side Go in, get your, I know this is fatiguing, but wait a minute, before I go any farther, everybody unplug the power. I should have said that first. Rule number one, unplug the power, make sure the saw isn't plugged in. Okay, oh I'm sorry, radio. But after that, well, again remember you do have a few capacitors under the hood there. So let's not get little metal objects and start tweaking around testing things. Number one, get a bunch of pipe cleaners. Take the pipe cleaners, get right down into those little contact areas for each one of your little foundation bases. And be very patient, and outfit if they're bigger. You don't have to go buy another pipe cleaner, just bend them in half. Now, what you want to do is just up and down, be patient, up and down, up and down, clean them out, look at it, get a nice little, you got all these beautiful little LED super bright lights nowadays, guys, you can play surgeon. Carefully go through each one of the fixtures, clean those up. That dirt and dust, and mostly it's fuzz and dust, is enough to cause a whole pile of noise in background. But the other thing is strangely enough, it'll also create little bridging microcircuits, and those in turn will degrade the performance of the tube. it's like anything else if you're if you pay if you really you'd like if you have a corvette you can have a corvette we've ever really nice corvette for a really nice corvette because you're going to micromanage it okay anything you only could do the same thing but with radios all of it is again purely a matter of energy passing from point A to point B and there are so many ways it can do it you can do it accidentally or unintentionally needless to say water is the first bad thing we're not plumbers we're electricians okay we're into electronics moisture kills. The second is dirt, dust, and crud. This is why military radios have so many different protection baffles because they're going to be in worse conditions. The stuff that was made for Vietnam, especially one thing to think about, it was designed for extreme heat right from the get-go and extreme monsoon weather conditions. So everything was hyper-weatherized. The nice thing is when you take it out of that environment, that equipment lasts so much longer. When you're dealing with a lot of the stuff like the stuff that was made by the guys in the 70s and 80s, they came out of that school. So there's a lot more attention to detail with regard to safety components, you know, and of course protection from moisture. You can't do anything about dirt because you have to have air flow. The only other thing that I would recommend, something we've mentioned many times, is remember today you can add more heat sinks, which you didn't have as great a proliferation of, you had to make them yourself, you couldn't go out and just buy them like you can now. If you did, they were god-awful expensive. You usually made them out of aircraft aluminum rail. But the other thing is all these microfans and the microfans make a big difference in not only Well, if the air is passing through certainly some stuff's going to connect but amazingly enough, especially if you make it an export fan Make sure there's an export fan not just an import fan The export fan is going to pull out of the crap across the board and take it out But you want two fans if you can so there's another thing you can modify and you can find it with you Go ahead. Would you put die electric grease on these? the uh... you know the electric coming out of the tube before you put it in you can't have it the problem with mokey where they're again one of the things to remember is while you've got it a bit of a of a service upgrade for the short haul in the long run it's another thing that can up attract or can you know create other quarter okay just something about and the other thing to remember anything that you add already any work you're going to do like that you want to make up a little patch kit because you know a little patch up for parts pieces that's why when you break something or when you know like when you we when you pull any of the components any of the of any sleeves any any uh... uh... type of uh... bridges or for instance grounding lines anything else yet no matter what it is if it's not completely shot or if it's you just going to change it up policy kind of like changing plug wires when you change plugs in a car uh... save the others back just in case something happens like we're talking about moisture or somebody it gets it will go to much power better to have a part or even better still have a brand new part in a little baggy little uh... the will be used nowadays is make all your little kip up and uh... snack bags full-time in those are blocked that makes and mark them with a sharpie on the outside what it is Don't just leave it in the bag. Okay, there's no reason to do that. Sharpie ink is free, almost. Dollar store. And also, here's another thing, I know Mark's paranoid. Just in case the ink wears off, put a little slip of paper inside with exactly what it is in little micro print. You can be printed up on your computer or what I do is just print it by hand. And that way I've got a double backup, I've got a backup system with regard to marking the components. The other thing there, again, remember anything where you have more layers of material or where you have anything that is... The reason I bring it up is because most people don't think about those grounding flats. That's another thing that's tied into this. That's another place where dust, dirt will accumulate. Even if you have the system, man, I feel this thing up. I know it's not that bad. The electronic fields will attract. whatever's in the air. And it will build up microscopically and at the visible range, but very small, with very small pieces. And that's where a lot of times people complain when they've been running a rig for a period of time and they start to get build up, what happens is you get build up and you're carrying what is called fuzz. We call it fuzz. In reality, it hits most of the time what it is. So let me ask you, sorry, speaking of grounding, If you have a 12 volt amp, and you have a power supply running it like a Micronter or a PMC, on the back of each one of these amps, it doesn't even matter if it's 12 volt or 110, they always have a grounding post. So if you have a base station at your home, where would you be if you did ground it, where would you put that ground? Well, there's two tricks. One is you could, if you've got enough tape or if you're going to want to wire it, you can run it right over to the same grounding fixture that is with the 110. The other option is, as a lot of guys do, is they break a whole new line, especially guys that were running big linears. You go outside, you get yourself a steel or a copper rod like you do for grounding the house. and you drive a new grounding rod outside, you run your line right out to it and you've got the most efficient ground you could possibly ask for. Sure. And again, one of the reasons you're thinking about using more power eventually, so it doesn't hurt to do it. Now, here's the thing, in your mobile kit, thank you for bringing it up, you know, because I haven't really talked that much about that. In your mobile kit, you take and make three or four steel or copper tent stakes. only longer actually now you can get uh... pieces of rebar they work really well but you don't just want to be to rebar you take a drill and run three holes about an inch apart on in the rebar and sharpen it to get over the grinder and sharpen it now then you want to paint the upper part a little bit but not though about the whole she drove but just pay it so it's you know where it just doesn't rust as much it's going to rust no matter what but what those are are quick ground stakes and those go in your kit with your your you know your while wire line and everything else you're going to use for your hasty antennas but thank you for bringing up because i really talked about that much you can use tent stakes if you but steel again that plastic guys a quickie solution is still can't take one that's really really cheap and is the probably the easiest fastest for everybody go to a retail shop i just was a one the other day here all they had problems of these people drop off uh... and intent parts and pieces of the family sorted there's out the other day and they have piles of those little elk type of their almost like a j you know cheapy rod uh... you know tent takes And those are perfect for that because they've got that little jade. You don't have to drill a hole. You just wrap the wire around that. But when you do it, you want to wrap it and then give it a little bit of an S so that you've got good connection. It's good enough for in the field. But when you're looking at a big, big transmitter that's mobile, even if you were in the military, if you talk to anybody who's been in military radio communications, when the guys are deploying the antennas, there's another guy whose job is to drive grounding rods. One of his list of things to do. and they're driving rods and they're running a line that's already, Billicus is hooked up on the outside where usually if you're smart you'll put a fixture on the outside of the cab of the van. And basically a lot of guys used a quick Charlie Fix which is to use a sprinkler line hanger like you find on the side of a house. Painted OD Green, use a couple of screws. and every time you stop all you do is unroll that off there take it up to where you drove the stake and run it you know run it through lock it down with a nut and boo-boo you're ready to go but for the house yeah you know that you're going to be permanent it's where you want it wherever you want your radio shack that's where you want a good crowd Sure, well hurt and copper is better obviously the steel but if you know you can find them near you can find a number of different ones out there and They just a matter of who's what lows or home despot or whatever they have in stock right now And you can get away with iron, but you know in either case try to go you'll get get it deeper It's not only in fact you'll abandon in place. You won't pull it back out sure That works. Good point. Again, the important thing with your mobile kit, you do need to have, again, grounding stakes. You can make them a number of different ways, and they can be hasty, but it really, really makes a big difference with regard to, you know, again, cleaning up the signal, ensuring there's some place for that junk to go if there's a little bit of a problem, and it's not going to handle, it won't handle everything, but it'll handle more than most. That's the best way to describe it. Okay, let me be clear on something. I've got a really nice omni-directional. It's a serial 827. But I was thinking about putting up some kind of Yagi or even a moonraker like a directional antenna. But when you do that, you have to have an antenna, like a motor that turns the antenna because every time you want to talk to a different part of the country you have to turn that antenna into a 360 degrees you've got to be a little especially with the egg is abused in a if you're using any kind of beams with a baby for instance yes or for that matter any eggy because remember you're focusing the signal so if you were to hook up an eight hundred meg either a now that no nothing about the smaller the antenna you can cheat and do a manual Okay, if you're willing to do it, but you remember somebody's got to be outside or you got bill reach out a window and you can have your you can have a handle on the post and have it so it pivots inside your tri-mast and You can do it by hand with a single like almost like you're running a periscope Okay, but you're gonna have to watch your signal You know in other words you've got it in order for you get on target because remember you're focusing it The least efficient with the yaggy is going to be down around 80 to 82 percent If you've got a really good connection, you've got a really good job with your coax and spent more money on the coax. That's the secret. Ed knows we were blessed because the University of Michigan has more money than brains. So all the coax that we were putting in with a lot of our stations was commercial grade coax. Multi-shielded, it cost something like $100 a foot. We bought it for $10 a spool. while okay just giving idea for money than brain and i was going to open other right you know what we're going to play that the uh... the big thing with uh... that with the motor that you want for instance if you go to face book marketplace people do have those out there craigslist i've seen what the bear to recently uh... and then again go to the retail shop but here's what you gotta do go to the receiving area and column I'm looking for things like this and show them what you want, okay? Like have be ready with a picture. And if you get any of these, you know, they're the old controllers for the directional television antenna basis. Now, if you get any of those, and especially you want both, you know, they usually come with even the antenna, and they won't want to take the antenna. They won't take the mast, but they'll get the controller, get the cable even sometimes. Show them what it is you want because you want the controller too. It probably will get thrown in for a great price, but if they don't know that somebody wants it, they probably will just chuck them. You want to go tell people, and I'm really interested in these. If you save them for me, I'll buy it from you. The next question would be, of course, if we're talking about standing wave ratios, on an antenna you get your 1-1 as much as you can on channel 19, channel 20, whatever. But if you've got a radio, like for instance an RCI Ranger that goes from 24 to 32, obviously you're not going to use, there's a lot of stuff in there which is government, you don't want to touch. But my question is, if you have that much power and you're going to throw it through the antenna, once you get and stray away from Channel 19, you're going to have to have an incentive sooner to make sure the F-S-R's are lower at a different band, like say the 12 yards. Well, as a matter of fact, most people spend the money by a mid-grade or better and leave it permanently affixed and try to station it right next to your rig. In other words, you will be adjusting, you will be tuning the antenna from the station while you'll identify what you need to do. And then there's a couple of the tricks there with regard to final adjustment, but that's something where, again, you also want a, you're going to have to be able to set up a separate meter if you can, so that you can, especially Yogi, identify that you're zero. Because you can lose a lot of signal just by being off by three or four degrees. Remember, you've tightened it up. Now that you want to do is benchmark it so that, you know, the other guy, not just you, but remember when you're talking to the other guy, he's got to be paying attention too. Your life will sound good. This may sound like something out of Star Wars, but it's hard to tell towards the deadline. That's the biggest problem. Both sides to work together. Now do what? We're going to go though, for now. Quickens, thank you sir. Got it. Our republic. Destiny moved up to the new world order. The gentleman the Empire is on the run. Another thing real quick is they used to make tube shields. They were either square with glass or with spudges. So they made some that look basically like mad science and tube guys. Cool looking, but they work. All of those, why here for now, we're going to take a break. Thank you very much guys. Again, Ed taking over, we'll be back with the evening insular part in one hour. Bye bye.
