In fact, I could have gotten more if I'd been faster, but I couldn't get back fast enough and they had some crazy manager who was just in a huff probably because we got this stuff. But I did that piled it up. In fact, we are the last nine bags are getting ready to be used for what I do in the way of gardening here. Everything else, soil's ready to go. Going to be recovering some of the other land and rearranging the garden. We're doing tear gardening. We just did a bunch of bucket gardening. That's totally transportable. I could move it if I need to. We also did a number of garden sites away from here. We've got stuff where we've potted things up and it's going to sit right there where it is. We got junk fencing, put it around that, critters can't get to it. I don't care how it develops, but if need be, if I'm on foot somewhere else later on, got another place I can go. I'm at another place, and another place, and several other places. All of you need to be thinking that way. But grow whatever you can, however you can, and even when you think you're going to have too much, I'm going to warn you right now, if they keep going with what they're doing, they keep stretching the rubber band out, they keep stretching the rubber band out, they keep stretching the rubber band out, you're not going to have enough. You're going to think you have too much and you do not have enough, but at least this way you won't starve. You may be lean by the other end, but I'm going to remind you again what you got to do. You got to start really hyper-engineering things. Fresh foods get eaten first, and no matter what, don't go to waste. before they get to the point where you think you got a trash of you better make sure you're managing your food and get used to the idea of consuming what it is that you produce you can't waste it if it can the second uses of this if it's on the edge and you don't want you will don't like it figure out how to give it to the dogs give it to the cat and use it for beating them up No, not because I plan on eating them, but if they are useful, dogs are kind of nice, they make noise, people don't like being bit by dogs. You get into a crisis situation later, you get bit by a dog and you can't go into the medical, that's a hell of a wound to try and heal. And everybody will learn that that's why military people don't like dogs. Okay, I ran with SEALs and SF people, and I'm gonna tell you one thing that SEALs were always terrified in the field when we did back 40 work infiltrating through public areas like this. They were scared to death of the dogs. I won't say scared to death, but let's put it this way. They had a real healthy fear, respect for the dogs to the point where they're ready to kill them because they knew there's nothing to stop them if the dogs did what they were supposed to do. And they know that no matter what you might do to the owner, especially if you do something to the owner, that dog ain't gonna stop. You get mauled, you get hit, and dogs, you don't know what size you got in front of you. Here's the thing, it's like what I, with my situation here, the dogs we have, Petey would bark, let you know he was in a place cold black. At night he would bark from back of the yard. By the time you tried to figure out where he was, he'd already made a full C right around him to come up behind you to hamstring you. I had to call him a couple. He always would get right back, put his head sideways. What was he aiming for? That Achilles tendon right there at the bottom of the leg. Why? He could hobble somebody. Animals have a natural attack instinct for that. You hobble something, the harder for it to get away, then you can chew on it all you want. So heads up on that one. If I start pulling the trigger, it's going to be for a very specific and narrow reason, and it will wage war. What you have to worry about if you're the other side is that person who has made their own judgment call and their own decision or they are thinking emotionally because they're pent up pressure cookers. The cops knew this in Lansing that after more and more people showed up, the numbers of their survivability rating went down with every hundred cars that showed up. What do I mean by that? Well, they stuck their head in the wrong car. Like I said, you got somebody whose house might be foreclosed on, they got taxes they owe, they've been pushed out of work, they drank their beer, they watched their sports, they did everything they were told to do, they got a car loan, a boat loan, even the cottage they thought they were going to go to, they got a loan on. They got everything more digital loaned up and the banks of course got them by the short hairs. And they've just been off work for two months and they're retired and now it's like hey, just let me go back to work and I won't hurt anybody. They're already pissed to the point where they got hold of somebody and just keep beating them until there was just a pizza mush in front of them instead of a head. Or if somebody pops their head and starts barking at them, they might just take that handgun that they've got and put it right under the person's chin and they won't leave that car with a head. The cops know this. That's why they backed off. It has nothing to do with us. It has to do with all the other really wicked variables. what can happen remember you might even killed the guy who was behind the crew of cop might even get away with that to a degree in that but the wife is just as well armed and they're both pissed and they don't know what the way to turn and they've already been so frustrated they're ready to leave their home in shame because that's all they think they think they should be ashamed because you know they bought the crew they drank the kool-aid and the company now they change the flavor packet they told you your kool-aid was illegal and uh... they're not going to give any more kool-aid how do you like that one Well, they know that you might even get that guy who was behind a stereo. How much were you spending for a gallon of gas? We're gonna just keep in simple math I know it's higher and or lower depending on where we are but really the basic math doesn't change You were paying $3 for a gallon of gas last year at this time Now I know you know people mark. I was closer to four. I don't care. Let's just do it this way three dollars And now your gallon of gas is down to $1. Now, if you were going to work right now under those conditions, what just happened? You just got $2 for every gallon put back in your wallet for you to do anything you need to. And if right now all these stores were open, the American stores, not these big box China whores, If all of the rest of the stores were open, you'd be spending money on a friend who has a small business, and that $2 per gallon means you could have that radio that you need, or those tools that you need. Or go right down the shopping list because those dollars are in your pocket. But Donald Trump made sure the big companies and the monopolies are the only ones who are going to get that benefit, not the regular working man. Do you see how that works? Just the math. Do you realize, what are they just yapping today about gas? What just happened with oil? Supposedly it's a penny a gallon, or a penny a barrel. Do you believe that? Do you think anybody's coming off oil for a penny a barrel? Ain't nobody coming off oil for a penny a barrel. It just isn't happening. Period. which means we have a massive surf yet but guess what that's because of the level of consumption was taking place so i guess we're going to this way for the ecology point of view purchased wonderful but if we are going to be able to do anything guess what we right now could do it for the most economical level of of consumption that we've ever had sense i was a kid Some of you are paying less than a dollar a gallon for gasoline right now. Remember gas is a waste product. They would have to burn it if they couldn't sell it to you. they have to get the gasoline off. It's a junk product that, yeah, it should have been at this price already. 17 cents a gallon is what almost every one of these countries we've attacked, although again, Venezuela has been useless anyway. You may know what they're doing there, if that's where they want us to be. But all these other countries, like in the Middle East, Saddam Hussein, his people were fed. They don't want to tell you that. They believe in propaganda if you want, but if you know the real numbers, He bought more food from the United States than any other Middle Eastern country. How many of you know that? All the other countries pissed on us. Saddam Hussein's Iraq bought American grains and mass. In all categories, in some cases per year, was buying better than anyone else on the planet, but especially in the Middle East. Okay? I want you to think about that. His people paid 17 cents a gallon for gasoline before we showed up. Ask people what their situation is under both categories, starvation level or in minimal food intake because of the screw that took place with one of our allies. And in the process, wow, what happened to all the rest of their cost of living issues combined with their food? They're waging the same war against you right now. Donald Trump fully cooperated with that war being waged against you. Donald Trump is as guilty as all the rest of those turds by the very fact that he walked right up on, he walked up to that podium, he's been leading this charge to attack your wallet every step of the way. At another store, we got it because it was marked down, only because it was flavor changing. And if I'm gonna hand food out to people I don't know or people that are not as friendly, I'm giving them the stuff that I'm not too worried about. Okay, not exciting to me and guess what, it's a hearts and minds thing. If I were to do that or trade or barter with aliens, so to speak, people that are not my circle. I'll give you a bowl of oatmeal, a can of these sardines, and you're happy. You are happy, right? Because you were starving and fucking vapors, and I just gave you something to eat. So anyway, we got that. But for a day, I needed a heartbeat. I'm sorry. Of course I could get spiky, but I like spicy. here's the other thing that controls jelly containers were under a lot of it yet there are the jelly containers of just tell about what the dollar piece but here's what's really cute because they're coming from peru there's no fructose corn syrup in them or cane sugar which means they're a much healthier if you're going to have a jelly that we were talking all of them there is the free is the the fruit uh... obviously whatever the other move preserve it is like a short short short list but what's fascinating is sugar is the first, which it will be on jelly. It's going to either be high fructose corn syrup and then another dose of it with another part of the list. I always love the other stuff. What's interesting is the other was the apricot from, which we got before this, was the apricot from Egypt. Now, I expect that because there's big products of apricots and from the Middle East from Egypt, they have a big apricot crop. Okay. If you didn't pay attention, you've already bought this stuff and didn't notice. Okay, maybe you did if you're smart, or even if you weren't smart. But if you pay attention, you'll notice that a lot of the apricot products are not from Michigan where they should be, but are from the Middle East, and then to a degree from Asia, but not so much. Egypt got the apricot market pretty well cornered, okay? What's interesting is several other Peru products have shown up or Argentinian products have shown up all at once, be replacing the product lines that they had which are now off the shelf and not replaceable. In other words, they've had to take the entire product, you know, markers off, they're gone, they're not showing up and the hole in them on the shelf. Instead, the South American products are now going to be the wave that you see coming in. Now I've told you before, this is not necessarily bad. On the one hand, people who watch from South America, well, you're buying stuff from Vietnam and from Indonesia and from China. And if you are thinking about pineapple, where does most of your pineapple come from right now? Malaysia, Indonesia, and now the latest wave is Vietnam. Pretty much the pineapple, there's no Hawaiian pineapple per se. Those pieces of property all got taken up with condos. We've talked about that on the air here. so you're already buying that kind of product from a foreign power no matter what foreign country now i don't know how much i'd buy from vietnam but that's because you see they're still but a people around their my agent might think that they don't like americans they might figure if they could have come to america that might not be something you'd like to eat but they'll make sure it still takes basically like a kid should but that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that So anyway, the wave is already here, it is showing up, but I will say this, I bought a bunch of those great squeeze jellies, because they're great for putting in a backpack, crackers, peanut butter, and oh wow, I got some great jelly and I can limit what I put on, and I open it up and squeeze a little on there. Oh man, you're eating like a king in the field. You are eaten that is going to taste like steak especially when your butt is going to be stripped You are going to be tired. You are going to be stretched. You will not have any spare calories on your bones and Anything and everything that's going to give you protein and sugars and a pick-me-up is going to make you feel warm and fuzzy real quick You don't think so you wait and see So anyway, for everybody out there, just solutions. This was at Menards, but it's not the only place this stuff is showing up. It's in the one chain store here that's a smaller grocery store. We try to deal with them because they are a smaller mom and pop store, the grocery store that we have here, there's a couple of them. The bigger chain stores, well I will say this, one of them, an art that I mentioned, actually had toilet paper. They had it way back in the corner at the end of the aisle. And a lot of people walked by until I said, hey, what's that over there in the corner? 24-count bundle of toilet paper. There were only like 11 there. And the whole rest of the shelves were empty. And they had it all the way to the end of the aisle, so it really kind of didn't, you didn't notice it. It was against the wall. So it was like, oh, okay, well I went out and grabbed that and then people stopped and they looked down the aisle and then the eyes went blank and they all quickly moved towards the... And it was gone. It was very much gone. It was sad, but it was gone. So anyway... uh... as part of other solutions uh... i would remind everybody if it's a choice uh... well no actually it's not a choice if you're going to be preparing and you're going to be canning let me recommend something every time we go to the store now you need to be picking up pickling salt kosher salt uh... white vinegar and in fact white vinegar is good for so many different things but most important to be that for canning and pickling Obviously the spices, a lot of the spices you use, I will remind you again, they were exotic. They used to be called exotic for a reason. If the economy goes into the toilet, people are not going to be able to pay what those spices are worth. So any spices that you use for canning and for pickling, you should be buying more of now. The other thing, again, any of all, like dill, now here's the thing, we just put in, I think, I think she put in probably 20 or 30 dill plants just today, it was yesterday maybe. We're growing them both from seed and we have dill that we promote in the garden that is kind of wild grown. And that is a priority because, again, it's one of those products that you're going to need for flavoring and pickling, you know, when you're pickling things. So just stuff that you need to advance the store for what's coming next season. You need to be thinking ahead. We need to have the long eye. You're going to use it anyway. One of the biggest debates, well, not really debate, because no matter what, we're going to have the same tomato production we had last year because we'll put them in wherever I can. But we have really good production storage still from last year. However, if we really prioritize using it up, we should be able to cycle and overlap what we have with the new production that we're going to be putting into jars and a couple hundred jars, a couple hundred quarts of tomatoes probably in the workings. I'm sitting over top of about 2,000 jars anyway, so we have all the jars we need. We've already been picking up more lids. uh... everybody you need to be thinking that way watching for solutions uh... again watch the recycle beds people are stupid i'm sorry but people are stupid i've gotten probably out of the white glass been uh... last two times i've gone by the recycle points i picked up probably three cases of court now mason jars Now, they put them in the container, kind of dropped them in, so one or two were broken. But the good thing is, they're not emptying out the recycled bins as fast, and because of that, they're kind of loaded. So when people toss stuff in, it doesn't drop as far, so it doesn't break. Another thing, for storage of certain things like oils, if you are going to be looking at oil storage, I'm not talking petroleum products, I'm talking cooking oils. A recommendation is that you think about if you're going to be squeezing grape seeds, if you're going to be doing grape oil, whatever it is you're going to do, or apricot oils or whatever, because there's a number of different, all the pit fruits can actually be squeezed, or their nuts can be, the natural seed can be squashed and you can take advantage of the pulp and consume it, but you can push the oils out and those can be used for cooking oils. You're going to need cooking oils. You also need something to put them in and it needs to be storable where you're not going to have anything break down, especially if you're in a humid, like root cellar environment. Watch for these wine bottles and liquor bottles that have the plastic caps and glass bodies. Those are perfect for oils. In fact, if you want to buy them, you'll find out their stupid price. But because a lot of people are boozing it up right now, woo woo, which is a good thing, uh... guess what you can find a consistent series of containers for free typically and again uh... you guys figure out what you want to do as far as are you sterilizing was not a big deal parts world real straight straightforward but you need to have a stacking systems a watch for the boxes go to the go to the white liquor stores of their opener go to the uh... your grocery store when the guys coming through and he's she's loading the shelves back up with booze uh... ask for the boxes if he doesn't use the fees the whole box and he's gonna want to you know get rid of the box if you know what the wine guys come in in the booze guys come in the liquor guys you can easily access the storage system that you need for the containers that you picked up and you have a system already made by somebody else okay so that's an advantage all other things uh... right now especially Do you know about all of the natural weeds out there that you can eat? Now, this time of year, with all the nettles that are coming up, because their nettles are a pretty tough bird, if you are worried about cancer or if you're worried about a number of other debilitating diseases, I recommend that you do morning picks of sprouted nettles. You treat them just like you would any other green. uh... steven would have been with the team blanch them and eat them all you could add you can add real butter which would be as an option not your first year not necessary if you don't believe in that he thought that you're worried about what fault you use uh... because you get all the additional minerals you can solve it lightly and console and what you're going to do is boost your immune system you're going to help to uh... beef up well pretty much all of the metal increment, metal, metal nutritional requirements. You get some zinc out of the deal, you're going to get some magnesium out of the deal, naturally occurring and easily absorbed. So guys, start doing, if you can, an inventory of what it is you have that's popping up right now. Some of you listening are in areas that are much warmer than us. You're ahead of us by maybe three, four weeks, maybe a month, and that's the advantage of being farther south. We know that. One of the things that I would recommend in light of what all is happening there is you can also promote the plants. Everybody goes, nettles, guys, nettles until they start to burr. And it's real simple. You know why. You know what a nettle is, what it does. Prick a prickshaw, the little ticky things, get candy like barbed wire, and you don't like it. But when it's first sprouted, like dandelions, when they're first sprouted, that's when you want to eat them. And deadlines are the same way until they bloom. And even when they do bloom, there's all kinds of recipes and ways to use them. So again, it's one of the few of the milky weed plants that you can actually eat. Most of the others are in the medicinal range, but you can't just cook them and eat them. Go ahead, caller, jump in there. Who do we have? This time, this weekend, me and a few guys did some training. And I found out people need to check their gear barrier because mine, or my gear was too loose on me and it kept falling and getting in the middle of the back. And you know, people need to check their stuff to make sure it still works properly because you don't need to find out when the shit hits the fan that, oh my straps are too loose. It's putting a lot of weight on my back and we don't need a bunch of injured people with back problems. My thing is, test your gear, walk in the woods, walk down the street, walk down the driveway with it. Make sure it's not loose, make sure it's not noisy, and just make sure everything fits right. Depending on the equipment you're using, the TA-56 and TA-90 gear, the Aller's gear, the earlier is the Vietnam, and there's a bunch of that laying around right now. Either way, the pistol belt is the foundation element. That's what you adjust first to the clothing you're going to be wearing. The next step, and you have to be snug, after that, then you adjust your suspenders accordingly based upon where the pistol belt is going to be permanently oriented. That's the two foundational components. Everything else attaches after that. Here's another trick. Remember that your mag pouches, if you're not loading your mags and you're not loading your mag pouches, that most of your sag weight to the rear is simply because what you do have that you're carrying cargo-wise is putting an unbalanced stress on the equipment. If you are not going to carry your mags, or understandably a lot of people aren't, find something that's going to fit that front pocket that is going to be heavy. You can make little fan mags up. You can take a couple of Ziploc bags, fill the one bag up with sand. Now make sure it fits your mag pouches, but fill it up with sand, solid. You can do other things. If you've got a shotgun shot, I guess you could do that. That's going to be heavier. But then take that bag and put it inside another Ziploc bag, and that way you don't get any crud inside your mag pouch. but wait the front to match the back. You got your canteens to the rear typically, you've got your fanny pack to the rear or utility pouches to the rear, they're pulling toward to the system. Then you got a backpack maybe hooked up, that's pushing down on the system to the rear also, which is why you're going to see ride and slide. what you need to do is put that weight forward you got a couple of thirty-round or twenty-round mag depending on the weapon system you're using or shotgun shells or however many boxes of twenty two or however many stick mags with twenty two m or you know ten shot ruger mags or whatever you're carrying you want that weight up front because that's one of the other problems even if you square it all the way you have a problem with a dismount unbalanced system now it's going to happen anyway i would point out remember i've told you before you can drop mags and lose them so you know you want to cause we have an eye for scavenging when you're in the field adding your from from enemy combat loads or or allied losses nothing goes to the rear if it's already deployed forward and it's something you recover from the enemy even as you've made them a steaming warm dead body You strip that enemy of everything and it goes into your tactical load if it makes sense and it's useful for your weapons system immediately. You restock, reload, constantly, in motion, and especially if you've had a wind, which I also wanted to touch on today. We'll get you, but we'll get, that's a sidebar. The big thing here is, again, all of you need to remember, we're changing seasons. That's another problem. A lot of everybody's gear is right now queued up for the winter or the late spring, you know, early spring cold. Now, where Tom is, it's still higher in altitude, the little colder up north, to a degree. If it's not colder during the day, it is at least colder at night. Okay, I want everybody to remember that. So, we need to be prepared and act accordingly to deal with that problem. and that's where you need to readjust your equipment look for your seasonal change uh... don't forget there's a bunch of small and if you can carry for a cold of the uh... pullover will equally though sweaters Don't forget again a kidney pad even if you didn't care anything but a kidney pad if you don't know what those are for I've talked about them many times on the air if you're in a situation Where we're right now in this part of the season and you start to strip all of some of your cold weather gear out fine But make yourself up a kidney pad and it wraps around the middle of the waist if you look at the voyager type coats the old voyager coats had a what was like it's where a cummerbund would normally be Guys, that's what a cummerbund technically did. It was actually, if you look at where it was located, look at how it was really originally intended, or when it was designed, you know, hundreds of years ago. What it mutated into is something a little different, purely for image. But the fact of the matter is that these tools were designed so that every element helped to engineer your body or sculpt it for the conditions. and by keeping your kidneys warm you actually keep the rest of your body warm without having to wear as much so just something to think about and also always wear headgear the top of your head is a chimney ninety percent of your body heat's going right out your right out the top of your head that's why your brain is there a bit we developed god figured out or natural selection whatever your belief system is And so the brain is kept warm by the very nature of gravity sucks in one direction for one issue, but with regard to heat, heat rises and your whole body is running at 98.6 and it's guaranteed that the very least everything will be moving towards that brain pantyhors and maintaining at 98.6 even if other extremities do not. So put a cover on. And again, I don't care what it is, I would point out black is not your first best tactical color, but if that's what you got for a stocking cap, use it. However, you can find OD green, you can find different goofy camouflages, all of which are fine, none of them are bad. Earth brown would be a better choice for most of where you're going. and uh... there's other tactical colors anything i don't care what it is but you don't do orange or purple or pink or whatever that's only if you are a survival situation and that's what you could find it even then find something else to cover up that purple or that pink so it's out of sight out of mind find a bandana some corpses t-shirt cover everything up you still got the the the uh... really cap over your head but you use the t-shirt i don't care if got some blood guts and stains in it you know what ring that stuff out a little bit put that over that purple or green stuff you had to use and that way you're out of sight out of mind always remember that remember try not to draw attention to yourself somebody's probably trying to shoot your hind end and those spotches are natural demo that's right they will turn a rusty brown or other colors but uh... anyway uh... couple of things your backwoods home magazine and forget i was trying to find a while we're doing the program i don't know what got rid of probably guys subscribe to backwoods home magazine they have a deal right now where they are at like half price for a subscription by a lot of the magazine it isn't excellent thing to have in paper form get the magazine itself don't be a business one of those times where duffy has been doing that magazine for decades he has stayed the course he has done what what other people have stumbled he stayed he stayed in motion he's continued to function and if you go and find backwoods home magazine watcher social media popping up in the scrolls depending on where you are but i'm looking at my political a clock to give it out on the air because i had a right here probably but i've been playing other stuff for you uh... but backwoods home magazine uh... has everything from ideas for gardening uh... anything ever do with everything from home burials because you're gonna have to be dealing with that if we get into the long-term problems everything from home funerals to uh... helping to the deal raise rabbits to every little trick of the trade anybody's come up with and come off to share will take advantage of that you don't need to reinvent the wheel you just copy with somebody else did because it works Okay, prior proper planning prevents piss poor performance, and our mission is to get things done. That's because they have no place to put it, and people aren't burning it like it's not, gas isn't being used like it was a month or two ago, because the entire economy is pretty much shut down. The Fed had a difficulty keeping the fake stock market propped up today because one issue is when you... they like to pick, I think it's actually about five different major stocks they pick and they just buy the crap out of them to boost the fake market to make it look like it's doing something. because last week you had 22 million people claiming employment. I think that's the total for, it's not monthly, it's actually weekly, but that 22 million number is actually, I think, three weeks total. So we had, now mind you, I think during the Great Depression or was it like in the 80s, there was the other two worst points were like 81 and like, During the Great Depression, I think that topped like a million something like that million and a half and so this topped like 22 million and Stocks went up last week matter of fact stocks had their best two-week period ever with 22 million jobs claimed to be lost so if you need any more proof the markets entirely fake Look no further Okay, so I guess last week, the americanpartisan.org website was down for a day or two there. And I kind of questioned whether it was somebody not paying their bill or if it was something more sinister. It turns out to be it was actually something of a sinister type. They supposedly were getting a denial of service attack. Took the website down. That was Monday. So it was Monday, the day of the rally they had. I think it was. I do think it was actually. So that's interesting. They were attacked on that day. Didn't think they had that much connection to Michigan, but maybe I'm wrong. You don't necessarily, don't always know where the owner of a site lives or whatever, but okay. Wrong one. Okay, so, anyway, they got that cleared up. I don't know if we can look forward to other sites like that getting attacked. I mean, historically, they've always been at risk, and some of them have been attacked before. Interesting to note, the FBI actually did put... This is actually... This is not conspiracy or nothing. I mean, it's a... I mean, it's a conspiracy theory, I should say. It is a conspiracy. The FBI actually stuck a super cookie. They managed to get it on several prominent Patriot websites, including the survivalblog.com, John Wesley Ross' site, which he admitted once he found out about it. He told everybody that was a problem. They snuck a cookie on there so that when you'd visit certain sites, so I forget how that went, there was a specific, they weren't necessarily, they claimed they weren't going after everybody, but there was some specific individuals they were trying to track between some sites or something. I don't know if they were white supremacists or what they were. It's quite, come on. It's entirely possible that they were doing absolutely nothing wrong for that matter. That's entirely possible. Even likely. But that did happen. Super cookies are ones they don't necessarily even get at least... Let me see if this has changed. Your cookies normally won't even get deleted. A lot of these browsers are set up now that you can actually have them automatically delete cookies when you exit. I don't know if they're designed to delete super cookies now or not. Okay, so anyway, there are browser plugins that I can actually, you can actually run to solve the tracker issue. So your browser, when you go to websites, websites usually get a list of, or they can figure out what kind of plugins and stuff you have on your browser, and there's different ways to fingerprint your web browser. And most people's web browsers aren't. If you've changed anything on them from stock, then they're not. all the same and the more unique changes you make to it will make you stand out amongst the crowd, so to speak. I haven't actually read the article here, but skimming through it looks like He teaches basically, he refers to, yeah, basically he kind of condenses several brush beaters slash NC Scouts. Antennae designs, mind you not original Antennae designs but ones that he recommends here. Now it looks like the dipole, single, simple dipole antenna. Not sure what I'm looking at in that picture. He has basically a jungle antenna. He has the picture of the jungle antenna. The jungle antenna is basically a, I guess you could call it a dive hole. Why they're throwing over a tree branch hanging down and it has... Well, anyway, look at the picture. The elements hanging down underneath it like a typical antenna, but only basically it's like a typical antenna you might see stuck on a mast, but only it's a wire antenna and it's supported from the top instead of having a mast underneath it is really the main difference there. So it can be thrown over a branch or something. He uses a lot of caught a banana connector. Or was it called the official name for that because you should all have one of these I forget they just caught on comment banana connector. It's a it's basically a I guess on on Amazon they're called the uxl BNC male plug to two banana female jack coaxial connector adapter, which is more descriptive than than a name but basically it's a it's what it's a adapter that has a bean C connector on one end and then it has two Banana jacks on the other end that you can attach You know pieces of wire to to make your own antenna and adapt it to your feed line Like do you get five pieces 14 16 plus 4 30 shipping? Now I've gotten some of these and sometimes the specs on I don't know if it's the same. Well, probably most crap from China comes from the same factory typically the specs on the BNC connector I got two pack once and the One BNC connector fit just fine. The other one was too tight. So the specs can differ So, I don't know if there was something I could file down on that to make it work or something. But if you're going to be home brewing or in the field brewing antennas and stuff, the BNC banana plug adapter there is something you definitely need to get. I guess you could rig it with... Well, there's always ways you could improvise things, but that would just be a very nice thing to have there with simplified things. When you start cutting coax and stuff up, you have moisture to get in there and start corroding things. So even in theory, you could just shove a piece of wire straight into the antenna port on your radio and make something work. That's not the most preferable way to do that. OK. That's true. So somebody posted someplace I saw. There is a called EarthNow or earthnow.com. It is a satellite service that they evidently plan on launching here at some point. It is not, I don't believe it has anything to do with, uh, you've got to start, uh, Elon Musk's Starlink. I don't believe it has anything to do with that, but it's supposed to be a 500 satellite constellation. to basically give 24-7 tracking of practically all of Earth video footage, which is obviously somewhat concerning. Now, I know they have spy satellites that can read a piece of paper, or what you have, you know, can read your newspaper or what have you, but That's not specifically what this is supposed to be. It's still concerning Actually, there'd be no reason why they would have that ability on these because then you'd be losing Well, they probably just keep that for the spy satellite, but says here it's I guess their services so to rent out their services to Anybody that had money I guess says here On the EarthNow website that you can catch illegal fishing ships in the act, watch hurricanes, typhoons, detect forest fires, the moment they start, watch volcanoes, system media telling stories from around the world, truck large, track large whales as they migrate, help smart cities become more efficient, access to health of crops on the med, sort of conflict zones or respond immediately when crisis arise. Instantly create living 3D miles of town, even in remote locations. Living 3D model. Hmm. Now the 3D model part is as long as the satellite's moving or you have a couple of satellites come go over at slightly different angles then you can create through structure, through promotion or photogrammetry. Basically the same thing. You're able to create three models. It's basically like scanning the stuff as long as you have enough different angles of the photograph. Oftentimes people just take videos and then just pulse still frames from that stuff. Trying to find, well there's a frequently asked, this, I don't believe any of these satellites are in orbit at the time at least from this constellation. How does EarthNow compare to with existing satellite imaging systems? EarthNow represents a dramatic leap forward in capability compared to other Earth observation satellite systems, which deliver pictures and sometimes video clips to users many minutes, hours, days later, or after they requested. Anyway, basically it says here EarthNow you can see events unfold as they happen in real time. Now then... Machine intelligence. Okay, it wasn't meant by machine intelligence. Each satellite is equipped with an unprecedented amount of onboard processing power. That's typically not been, historically that's not been the thing they've tried to put, like for example, that's the reason why you can easily, quote unquote, hack into Navy satellites because they're just designed as basic repeaters and they don't even have any encryption ability or any of that stuff is not even onboard. This historically It costs money to add a bunch of satellites only so big and technology is advancing all the time anyway so why put a bunch of stuff up there that you won't be able to upgrade at any point ever. I think the only exception is I think they did go up there and fix the Hubble telescope but I think that's a rare exception. Typically you don't try to fix satellites. That's here. It says here it has more onboard processing power, including more CPU cores than all the other commercial satellites combined. When combined with terrestrial processing and machine learning, this will give the Earth now a satellite's ability to intercept what they say in real time, what they see in real time. Machine intelligence is expected to be a great value for applications where users need to know what is happening as it happens. It still doesn't entirely answer the question. machine real satisfied with that answer because you're like what is meant by machine intelligence and they're just like our siloeds are really have really pro powerful CPUs in them and so They're really powerful So that they can do a machine intelligence. What is machine intelligence? Anyway from what I've seen from other persistent Surveillance systems is typically the ability to track individual objects or perhaps say if you have enough processing power track all the objects in a scene. So that could be something like that. This company could possibly go bust before it even gets a single satellite in the sky because they're looking for investors and stuff. It says here, each Earth now silos will be constantly connected to the ground network, thereby ensuring real time availability on a global basis. It means they'd have to have nodes on the ground all over the place, not all over the place, but, you know, spouts spread out so many hundreds of miles. Every now and then there'd be a node, receiver node from one of these things. So if, you know, one of these nodes wasn't operating in a particular area, then in theory they wouldn't have any video footage from the satellite going over, or any satellites of this constellation going over that particular area. Just something to think about. So how will the satellites observe the Earth? This is here. Each satellite is equipped with, let me post this, I think I actually got this link from the Discord chat. for the sake of this redundancy I will repost this link in discord. Okay, each satellite is observed earth, each satellite is equipped with unique video imaging systems, a global view imager provides a horizon to a horizon intelligent video imaging enabling continuous detection and monitoring of events almost the entire earth 24-7. simultaneously the spot view imagers can zoom in and see specific... Oh, interesting. So whatever I just said about not reading a newspaper, of course that doesn't mean they can, but they currently will have at least two different cameras on them. One general coverage camera and a spot view imager that can zoom in and see specific locations in more detail. Privacy protection, the resolution of the imagers would not be capable of monitoring an individual person. Now, the way it's worded here actually implies that they basically, technologically aren't capable of zooming in better than an individual person resolution of imagers. At least that's what they're claiming. That could just be, as opposed to intentionally not allowing the end user to see things zoomed in farther than something. So I find the choice of wording there interesting. I mean, just interesting from the point that they seem to be claiming that they're not going to have the capability of zooming into an individual person. Now then, interestingly enough, there is an issue with companies will sometimes not have their products They're like, oh, there's cameras everywhere and they can see everything, blah, blah, blah. And sometimes companies will prefer that cameras aren't capable of actually seeing everything other than their primary job because it can get kind of annoying having the government come in every time somebody does something that's possibly on one of your cameras wanting to be able to see stuff. And if you can just say, well, our cameras weren't good enough to capture it, you know, there's a, I don't know, it could be a potential liability issue there, issues. So I, yeah, you know what, they, instead of saying that your software downgrades it to claim, now, it doesn't necessarily mean their sensors can't, but if you from the very get-go claim that your equipment was never physically capable of processing images clear than a certain amount of resolution, then that's probably to stem off lawyers from getting sued. I'm sure the ACLU or something would be all over this. Surprise! So, that could be an interesting little can of worms right there, actually. As they could actually be claiming, they could actually have better stuff For the customer, you know, the price is right, you get access to the real deal, and if not, then they can claim that they aren't capable of zooming in further than certain amounts. Oh, what is the resolution? Oh, okay. They should just read this instead of guessing all this stuff. Yeah, well, you know, a lot of these frequently asked questions They're frequent. They're at questions that are asked. They don't necessarily have answers to them. What is the resol- what is the resolution of these cameras? Oh, the native video resolution combined with imaging enhancement techniques is designed to enable vent monitoring and tracking applications consistent with existing and future customer requirements. In fact, tomorrow next day they say, who knows, we'll see what happens. But that means that for the moment, we can still put the cold vegetables in. Spinach doesn't start out, you have to put it in in cold. There's certain roots in vegetables you need to put in cold in order for them to go. and once it starts to get warmer, their production drops, okay? So they know this, our enemy knows this, they're hitting you during the food growing cycle that was planned, that is not accidental. Look at the damage they are doing to our food reserves. Now, it's bad, but it's not that bad yet because all of you, everyone within my earshot that can hear what I'm doing, produce food. Produce more than you think you need, it will not be enough. but produce more than you think you need to find out more about some of the other issues and problems were facing here now somebody would say well you're just say we might be going to work at we grow we can we produce what we can and somebody else might be dead one on a later edition you know my allies or whoever but wherever i go somewhere else food is also being produced if everything stands near is stable where i am here i'm gonna keep doing what i'm doing everybody else will be too all of you should be thinking the exact same way because it's by mass production and and mass by the individual that we can make up for the local consumption slash consumables that we need to get through the season through the cold weather coming up for mark we're headed to the summer yeah we better be thinking long-term on those because your enemy has already calculated the calories they've destroyed and they're going to do more short dollar matter of throw weight in calories people anyway we've got a card with a patient who we have i heard a voice to ever clear of the night to say or i think it is expected it what do you think i said it again but it's a key i think it's a key thing we are going to have a real good call regatta it's larry yeah i love that movie absolutely love that movie uh... that uh... yeah you're right uh... you get watermelons and other things uh... store and yet the the complaint but uh... It's almost getting too late to do tomatoes and peppers in some places. I'm not sure how your state goes, but I've got a bunch of them ready to go in the ground here. But yeah, they're doing everything they can to close down food producing meat plants and milk plants and everything else they can. So if you haven't been stocking now like we've been encouraging you to do, you're starting to see why you did that, huh? you know what's funny that we are with tell you guys to go by the uh... will be holiday uh... summer sausage guys those summer sausage two-pound summer sausage were down to three dollars and forty nine cents apiece until a few weeks after this hit then they went back up to about six dollars now all the same product which by the way has been hanging around for the christmas is now almost ten dollars apiece They haven't got new product in, they've just slid the scale back up. I grabbed a bunch of them. In fact, we filled up two. They don't need to be cooled, but you want to protect them because they're just in a plastic sleeve. They're shelf stable, but you still want to prioritize also using them. But for the cost, for the meat, for what you're getting, for storage, what I did is I take these extra coolers I keep finding that people drop along the road or we got them from other locations. and i just took a couple of minutes of the pair actually secure from being polkin damage and compromised they're not in a heavy heavy they're good gauge plastic but you know something could pull could will blow up while you prevent that by putting in a better container they do not need to be cool but we have had relatively cool weather so they're actually in chill on top everything else so that something to look at uh... again just as an example where they're sliding everything up the other thing where i don't know if you heard guys i'm gonna bring it up again i was telling you we're going to be the south american stuff okay but we've had the problem uh... we all know the argentine and uh... and the brazilian uh... uh... cora corned beef okay no a person that never hit american market big chunk of it actually and that's because it is a a long term goes back to world war one storage item that they agreed that you know when they did the war one giving up of things it's like even though you should be american corned beef in a can most of it is not in fact as the years have passed argentina and brazil or the dominant card countries for corned beef in can processing however there's other things a foot and first the china wall has already been hit and we are we are great now they're the only reason you're not seeing is because if they didn't let you buy in walmart by all these from these box stores all their dry goods Not only would the toilet paper aisle be gone, but any place where somebody had an interest in something, it would be, there would be massive teeth missing, holes in the inventory, and with every passing day it would get worse. Well, over at Menards, and in two other stores we run into now, the products from Peru and Chile have started to replace the Vietnamese or the Chinese, and even a lot of the American products. so expect to see more and more of the can or processed foods example but it's not a bad thing actually it's been a pop up a big thing here there's a squeeze great jelly uh... uh... stock that's made by pamper everybody paper but immediately they go out mostly china and some of the uh... and some malaysia depending on what it is now pamper has not been doing that coming from china with some of the products were seeing that uh... for instance uh... dollar tree dollar trees i gotta bet right keep everything at a dollar so the latest batch of peaches that came in came in from south africa and also from southeast asia just kind of interesting but it's got hot muggy weather so peaches should do well there anyway the latest the peruvian grape jelly most important is there's no high fructose corn syrup in any of it it's real should sugar cane sugar so while sure is your first best choice for anything you're doing if you have a choice real sugars or natural occurring sugars rather than or but i should say minimally processed sugar is still a better choice that high fructose corn syrup now i can show you as an example of a couple weeks time making a video uh... but i could show you if you were standing here and i could describe if you have a pamper uh... apricot it is uh... made in egypt if you get the other stuff in fact there was some great or earlier we got it for like thirty forty seven container because there was some mark down stuff in a basket will be hold it's a big product i just bought yesterday but it's from china now everybody else will market about about from china why don't buy a child i will buy it from china for me per se but you know what if somebody knocks at the door but get what dole or or trade some food ok well the roll-outs the sirocco bob bob uh... sardines that i just got for less than seventy five cent a can and the chinese stuff like that we've to put thirty nine cents all of a sudden becomes the bar double or the the gift to somebody but that's not a good ally but maybe just a good associate they get something to eat everybody's happy i'm not out anything you see how that works now most people need to go over there but i think now remember hearts and minds and also buying time something to think about their so again the big thing here is the products of chili and and peruvian products are now starting to replace the american products that are missing or the other import products are missing and you're going to see this in a massive way because the commerce vacuum we perhaps to go somewhere to buy something to put on the shelf and i got my complaining actually i bought a bunch of the great containers because they were real sugar so that was my money and again for what i'm doing with it uh... well i will say this if i were using it it goes in the backpack with uh... peanut butter crackers and all the other ones to the combat cookies and a little bit of great jelly of anything i don't care what is sweet one-top of some peanut butter on top of a cracker when you're but starving is like steak i'ma tell you right now we have to do you have a chance to get all hungry or like a lot hungry and you'll appreciate the idea of how simple things just take so much better okay so be ready for that all the other thing although it's a meat slurry slash one step below treat over at dollar tree they do have all the wall the equivalent to spam over there dollar can who knows who well it says what it's made up you tell me but for the for a dollar a can again goes in the backpack as a an alternate ration i take one of those split it up in the slivers all about a quarter inch around uh... take a robin little pack take my standard m r of my standard uh... mess kit uh... use the wide bay put the uh... but noodles and that uh... take the powder pack put it on top of everything uh... on top of the noodles then take the middle of the meet laid on top of the noodles or underneath to if you want I'll put about a third of a tray to a little more, maybe it'll almost half but not quite, of water in the mess kit, put the lid on the top of it, use the handle to hold it near the fire, put it in next to the fire where it's going to cook well, you want it so that the material inside is boiling, obviously, and when you open it back up you've got some really tasty saturated with meat greases. all ramen noodles which can add little vegetables or a little whatever garnish whatever you've got that you can find or whatever you have the might be useful a little packet of of soy sauce from the stores down the street when they were still open uh... or a little package of hot sauce from taco bell you rip open a pouch you put one pouch on no more congratulations you eat like a king in a situation where but it also sucking vapors So just many of the little ways you can cook fast and stay alive, which is all we're worried about in the field. It's throwing calories in. That's right. Keep all that stuff. Right, as far as little packets go, everything gets kept. If it goes bad down the road, chuck it. But you know what? The idea is to prioritize it, to use it so it doesn't go bad. If you've got bigger containers, hold the bigger containers back. use the smaller packs for field use because you only open what you need but i'm going to tell you something about that i don't care what it is salt packs sugar packs if you got em i read uh... you take the salt and you spread it around whatever you can that you that would take salt If you have something to drink like a powder mix, especially if it's one of the flavored powders, if you've got salt left, you pour it into the canteen or into the cup that you're going to mix the drink in. Make sure you stir everything together. Drink the salt pack, whatever's left in that salt pack with that, kind of like Gatorade. The same is true with the sugar. The same is true with the coffee. I'll tell you what, one of the guys that was a seal, that I worked with, and then operations. he would take everything out of the mr a pouch uh... take everything out of the big pouch now the big pouch remember the old brown ones when they first came out and what he would do is open everything up with what these do with the rations and then what he do see where to be got the rest uh... dump everything in the container take the knife chop it all up make it all up for the salt pack in there the coffee on top of it right amongst all the food everything was in the pouch everything was in all little pouches when in there stir it all up eat it keep moving Now, that's a real deal. As opposed to all the fake stuff you hear and all these other panty ways that, you know, pop a, you can't do that or you don't want to eat this. Yeah, right, whatever. You ain't starved, you don't have a clue. It's that simple. And again, I understand the method to the, it's not madness, it was just common sense. Again, minimize time, maximize whatever they put into a ration pack. Let's think about this. whatever they put into that mre was expected to give you the calories that you need out we know about the balancing of that craig has covered the uh... the newer mre's versus the original mre's versus the snow civilians tough with them put together we know about the sugar connect with with that that's just how it works uh... if the guys had that those uh... pop-tarts that are in there will get crumbled up and crushed right in with everything else they go with the coffee mmm they go with the beat sticks blue they go in with the pork and beans and yum and everything get mixed up and just getting why because you're in a hurry okay the idea is you know what you don't know what you're going to get set upon but one of the things to remember about being in a fighting situation whatever you do and you don't want to rush but you do want to get things done as quick as you can uh... it's really funny i i i i i don't bring it by no this is going to be applied tangent but i want you to start looking at something in the movies i don't care if you watch sci-fi or if you watch soap operas or if you want to talk about cantonese from hollywood word not alive stuff of course are no different really but uh... if you watch any of these movies you ever noticed that that there it's always always as part of the standard that's you know if you're on star trek it's going to be the metal all okay so these people sit down and like in uh... star trek enterprise it's really obvious what count how many times somebody sits down they go all i have a pattern taken all bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob bob and then they're eating it and they get into conversation, they get pissy on each other and all of a sudden they walk away and here's three quarters of a steak that's as thick as two of my fingers sitting on the plate. But the guy hadn't had a steak in how long? If you watch, there is a constant impress to waste like that or to walk away from uneaten food. It's in all of these programs. Now granted, part of this is they're not going to sit down for a half hour or 40 minute meal, depending on how long you have to eat if on a regular, you know, sit down basis. and uh... watch you eat while they have some kind of dot some kind of dialogue but they could come they could compress it or change where they come into the whole process but they come in the got a trade for food not think about this when you watch this stuff on you'll see what i'm talking about got a trade for a food got a plate full of this tell you how they love this so much and then they get a bit walk away that's like everything they pretty well walk to the table with a couple sitting on the plate Now I'm probably gonna root it for you, but you're gonna see this after a while, you're watching enough goofiness on. And I don't care what it is, and if for the last 30, 40 years it's been like this, but it's been getting worse. And it's really obvious. So keep in mind that there's subliminal conditioning going on there. Just the reverse is the case. When you're at operations and you're eating, you're not focusing on the bag of food. I'm gonna remind you of something. You get used to looking around, and the food comes, you know, the cracker gets, you know, put together real quick. You get used to using your fingers to gauge everything so you don't mess anything up. And you make sure the peanut butter, a little snub of peanut butter's on there, a little bit of jelly's on there, and you throw that in your mouth and you're chewing on it or you're nibbling at it while you're looking around. You're not looking at your food, you're not looking at the ground, you're not diddling yourself, and you're sure as hell not in conversation with anybody else. That doesn't happen if you really know what you're doing and you master the trade. when you stop and eat your tactically eating just like everything else because if i were the enemy i'd try to get you comfortable and whoever however many are comfortable are the ones who died quickest well actually if i killed the guys that are your sentries and prepared a lot easier to kill the rest of you they can pick which pecking order they want to use along just pick at you I just make sure the ones that are fixed in really great shot, the first ones I hit and then disappear. Maybe I can't attack you because maybe I'm all by my lonesome. But I make sure the easy shot gets hit every time. Go ahead, caller, jump in there. Another thing you don't want to do is leave any trash or anything to let people know that you were there. Everything gets picked up. It's not because I'm worried about being an eco freak. It's everything that can be picked up, gets picked up. anything that you are going to leave behind, this is what everybody should be carrying an E tool for, an entrenching tool. If you're going to piss, you take your E tool, use it like a bit while you put it to the, put the blade perpendicular with the handle, take it and spade it into the ground, pull the soil back, piss into the hole you made, the slit you made, then bring the shovel out, let the sod fall back in, congratulations, that's called a cat hole. If you're going to defecate, you do the same thing. Only you pull the sod over, obviously. You aim towards that hole that you made, that cat hole. And after you're done, whatever it is that you wipe your hind end is, you make sure that gets down in the bottom there. So get a little pokey stick or whatever you got to do. And then you let that sod fall back over a little extra soil. Now, one last trick. If you have foot, I just had a bottle of foot powder in my coat, I forgot about that, I pulled out of a backpack. What we used to do, you take a foot powder, the old style military foot powder container, which is basically like the Ben Gay and all the other type of foot powders you could buy privately, about two inches in diameter, about five inches long, has a little shaker top on it with a little plastic cap. What we used to do is we would get, one person would draw CF powder in the packet form. you take the p.s. powder not be where don't put it on your feet by the way all make sure you market cscn if you can get it if not use cap cam powder do use cayenne pepper what you do is you sprinkle a little bit that pscn on the poop or if you're going to bury anything in the way wrappers if you're not going to carry them out trigger you would powder those uh... mre or so for giving the ration cancer mre pouches with the uh... powder and then you follow up the uh... your cat hole five jump fall back over everything and you make sure it's settled down and then you try to conceal make sure you don't leave any bear dirt laying around that is a visible signal you make sure that that is covered up you got leaves you can spread it out move that around your hands to get that out of the out of sight of the minor at least if hope you flicked a little bit Now why did I use the CS powder? Well, I'm not booby trapping my poop, but I'm not booby trapping the food for the enemy. I'm booby trapping it for Rocky the raccoon and Chuckie the possum who like to dig things up and waddle around in them. Num, num, num. Okay. They will find their curious little buggers. So what you do is by having the CS powder over top of that, what happens is it usually deters the critters from getting too motivated. Okay, once they get burned, they have a tendency to back off. Now, again, whenever possible, like with this day and age with the MRE pouches, I'll only go through another common sense thing most people don't think about because they don't think they're going to think about calories. When you heat up a canteen cup for water for that coffee, make sure it's at all possible almost a full cup. When you take your pouch and you either eat from it with a spoon or if you use it and then use the mess kit like I said take like a main course emery pouch and put it on a ramen noodle and heat up a meal like that. The pouch use hot water you get the hot water boiling with a small little fire source you don't build a campfire. And then what you do is you take a percentage of that hot water put it inside that pouch roll the pouch shut shake it up drink it. Two things, you got more moisture going in, heat's good, in this case you're adding body temp, but in addition to that, you also took all of the last calories out of that pouch with hot water and you've cleaned it. Now you reverse toothpaste roll that pouch shut and then you put that into your dump bag that's gonna be trashed down the road when you get out of wherever you are or when you choose to actually bury it like I said earlier. And there's less to attract insects. exactly what you're doing is you're making all the other problems now here's another thing what you should use for those pouches number one you all those pouches down with the food out of a very very very small you want a couple of uh... when you want free other items too but you know a couple of utility larger freezer bags with these fantastic news that block solutions which we didn't have very much of way way back in the day that is such a blessing for the very reason that uh... that uh... fluffy just mentioned bugs okay uh... if you've got the plot bags you've got it out of the environment and that's especially critical can't be identified for certain smell now this is where you gotta balance things out you don't want too much junk on you that is smellable because the dogs might be tracking you know people are pretty good at it when they're hungry zombies so to speak and a good tracker will be paying attention looking for these things So as Bob was saying, you watch your tracks, make sure you disperse whatever possible, walk on hard objects where you don't leave a track. Move, if you're moving on trails, beware trails. But if you do use trails, remember, don't just drop your foot anywhere. Think in advance. You have to constantly be thinking, when I say master the trade, this is garbage, you become second nature to anybody who's in the field. Now most of these pampered characters we got, especially coming out of this last bunch of junk, are because again, they're in a dirt war where there's no, there's not that much, if any, real cover. but we're in a temperate environment and we have all of the advantages of home ground and so the sooner that we get up and online with understanding how to not be seen and for people not to be able to find us the better off we'll be and if you embrace that immediately you don't wait to start having bullets take people down because you've screwed up and didn't pay attention prior proper planning prevents pis poor performance the p-principal always use it always apply it okay another thing team leaders you also have to maintain discipline on people people will do stupid things okay now this is a tough one and it's a balancing everybody's got to worry about snot rags and worrying about the news and worrying about you know having you know covers over your face bandanas are a wonderful thing but you gotta rotate them out you can't have just one if you go over to uh... actually i think or from the guy that still selling stuff okay if you go over to sportsman's guide and you walk in there for military surplus bandanas and handkerchiefs okay bandanas are what you want obviously because of the desert situation they became popular again uh... for the longest time the government used to give you ten hankerchiefs they used to be originally what i went and they were white with ten white ones and ten o d green ones now eventually they dropped dropped the o d green and you only got ten white ones if you will if you had any they were tired out or you lost them you go to quarter bastard and quarter bastard would give you replacements if they had a much typically did because most people didn't think about anchor chief or scarves or all that stuff uh... but the advantage covering up part of your faith keeping things from getting at you i don't have a problem with that it has been tactically especially but understand that again it's not going to stop most everything but it is going to muffle example that uh... You know what a cough sounds like at 3 o'clock in the morning out in the middle of BFE? Like hearing a... It's like hearing a goat, meh! Well, that's not natural. That could be a deer. Yeah, but it sounds more like a goat. In this case, a hawk, hawk, hawk. So you gotta get used to the idea of muffling things now. This is why they also, if you look at military kits, military unit support, you have cough drops. Now, cough drops that are preferably not fented, strawberry cough drops or cherry cough drops in the middle of BFE, you may not have made any noise, but when a guy goes and smells cherry and it's not that time of year and it's not a really good flavored cherry anyway, hmm, that's man-made. Somebody's nearby and I'm within wind shot of them. I'm the sentry, maybe I should let the Sarge know somebody's headed our way. So you've got to think this through, where you have to balance it out. But I will point out, government, when they do stuff like this, they don't care about you. Government, the Army doesn't care about you. Your government, as you're seeing, doesn't care about you. So, when you see equipment that is made for field use, when you see certain things that are made for field use, it is because it was understud there was a need and the application keep the soldier functional so we can do more you know killing for the government so to speak right uh... that is their job so if they could avoid giving you cough drops or if they could avoid giving you a foot powder if they could avoid feeding you even do be out there bare-ass naked with a sharp stick and they would have you poking at each other until you're all dead So when something is in a kit or is in a system, it's because the government begrudgingly, begrudgingly decided, yeah, that probably is something we could use. And if it'll keep them alive longer, maybe they'll fight better. And if they fight better, we might win. So yeah, let's give them some first aid kit dressings and stuff. Yeah, yeah, that's a good idea. Let's do that. It'll motivate them. If they feel they might live, they might actually fight. If they get hit, they probably will live. all year because if you go back to the years you'll find you don't find a personal medical support being carried by troops yeah there's a lot of things that are changed okay by the way i do have a firm believer of the sharp pointing object though does the bad at and for any fool tells you don't need it well you can wink and smile at them get a bad at for a rifle you got that'll take one They do not have to be the best blade in the world. They don't have to be brand new. Used to be there was a bunch of M14 bayonets out there. I got dozens of them, dozens and dozens for like three, five dollars a piece. Man, they were tired. They came from Korea when the Bluebird rifles came in. three dollars apiece without a scabbard but i could get filipino import uh... scabbards that were either aftermarket or that were military for about a dollar apiece so though a lot of important most you know scabbards for also carpenter same way corramps the same way uh... there are copies number bring this up go over to bud k dot com if they're still shipping but k dot com If you have a grand, you're looking at, they can charge up to a hundred and some dollars for a special serial numbered special ID, you know, special manufacturer bayonet. That's not what you need. You need a bayonet that is a service grade throwaway that when the time comes, if something happens to it, you're not going to cry. If you lose it, you're not going to cry. It'll cut somebody, it'll hack somebody, it'll chop somebody, it'll do a fine job of it for a good price. Well, over at www.mudk.com, they have, and they're not the only ones, they have the 1903 Springfield slash M1 Garand Bannettes. There's the short blade and there's the sword blade. I love my M1942. I carry that with my 1903 Springfield, but it also works with any of the M1 Garand's that I have, because the bannette was inter-useful, in other words, interchangeable. So, the advantage here is that I have a really, really good opportunity to rather than spend, take my M1942 Remington blade, which is an original Remington blade, low serial number, and it's a sword blade, they cut most of those down. I'm going over to Bud K, and I can pick up a sword length. M1903 type bayonet that will fit the Goran and the Springfield rifle and I got myself a Goran rifle. Forgive me, I've got myself a Goran bayonet. They do make a shorter model, that's fine. And for anybody out there, there's also a number of others, but I'm sure that their inventory is disappearing the way things are going. And I expect that to be the case. That's rather interesting. There we go. Bayonet. Now I'm going over there while I'm buying myself some time. Let's see what they have left, if they have anything. Okay, now example. Well, they've gone up in price. Of course they have. The Chinese stuff isn't as readily available. If you got an M16, an AR-15 rifle, especially if you got a 20-incher, the Standard Bennett works fine, otherwise you know how goofy it is when you got the M4 barrel with the long barrel of the short gas system. Okay, I know how that looks. Anyway, they've got an M7 knockoff. It isn't stainless. It is $17 with a scabbard. It used to be $10. Now it's more. They have a M7 knockoff. Again, it's more serviceable enough. Something to put on the end of those spare AR-15s you bought. $25, that used to be a $12 knife. They do have a combination bayonet knife and sheet stainless steel blade. $16.98, actually the best price. Well, those two are about the same. uh... it's uh... but i have to experiment with that haven't seen that one so i don't know what the groups made out of it better be mettle of the plastic it's just some of the break but after the mother's uh... question mark the two blades i mentioned and one grand bandit historical replica of the fifteen-inch which is the intermediate blade before they went to the even shorter blade that you feel like on the m seven bandit thirty dollars or things were about twenty four they've come up come up a few dollars but not much and they're supposed to have a scabbard with them which is especially good all the one that i'd like to be a one-girl and historical replica twenty one and three-quarter inch blade yeah i know you can chop this to chop people that like a short shorter machete uh... isn't that all of good as the reamington blade dot i know better you know what all krabok care about a few beat this not out of it When the tide comes, I'll carry the other one. But for most all the work I'm going to do, this will work just fine. Especially since I have more than one Garand that needs a bayonet or more than one Springfield that needs a bayonet. Now, I would point something out. A lot of you guys put those trench extenders on your, and shields on your shotguns. Those do not take a Springfield bayonet typically. If you got the older style, the Winchester knockoffs, Those take the M1917 Enfield Man-Eps. So if you have one of those, maybe, Dad, in fact, you might even have inherited an M191897 Thumb Buster. Okay, if you got one of those, if it's an original, and most of them are, you're going to need an M1917 Man-Eps. Like the bullet, you're going to have to find one, if you want to do that. But it's not the O3. Now, if you've got the more modern uh... mausburg those take the m sixteen man that that's a good thing and i just showed you a couple of fifteen twelve seventeen to twenty five dollars and that's a lot of that are good enough for what they're for ideas that is the problem of the other side of the other side of the individual squared away while we're still working on the unit that i do have some larger formation All of you need to be in gear.
