It actually sat down, made an agreement, but it was a conditional agreement, which right about the time that the virus hit, People were making claims that Afghanistan had already violated the peace treaty, but that's all been put on the backwash with what's been happening with the coronavirus. We haven't heard anything about what was going on. What did they do to violate the treaty or anything? None of that's been in the mainstream because everybody has been focused on the virus, the virus, the virus, the virus. I don't know, many people think the virus came from China, but you know, all the time something's coming up down there. But could this be why God has made the coronavirus to slow down the world to where we can stand still and at least talk about something besides blowing up kids and stuff all around. Unfortunately, especially in Michigan, and we've talked about this before because we've seen it firsthand, we had the opportunity to purchase a lot of the PPE equipment, which the University of Michigan was throwing out from the last pandemic from 2017. The Ebola pandemic, everybody remember that? It killed more people than coronavirus has so far. It really did. And we had all that pandemic supply at the University of Michigan. When it came up for sale, dad brought it up to everybody's attention. We tried to purchase as much of it as we could and what they did not purchase. This is equipment that was like three years old. Three years old, there's nothing wrong with masks, gloves, or anything that's three years old that's been stored in a box and stored properly. And they threw it away. They threw all of it out. What they couldn't sell, they sent to the landfill. That's criminal. Is that without David? No, it was not out. It's only three years old, Randy. Even if you know the latex gloves have some BS expiration date on it, they're latex gloves, they're good for however long they're in the package as long as they don't get direct sunlight on them. You get direct sunlight on them, they start to break down, they brown, they crack, but that's not what this was. This was the PPE equipment, hell, when we were going through even the respirator stuff that they're talking about. while i was up there they were selling that stuff off left and right they had it they had it in bulk that you could buy it off the auction block up there at the university of michigan through property disposition michigan state university was doing the same damn thing so the reason why we've got a shortage with those uh... and university michigan is the medical school there in michigan the only reason why we got a shortage there is because they saw another uh... as Deb would say, another tit to suck off from the federal government. So with this coming, because yeah, you can't say they didn't see this coming because Bill Gates and the World Health Organization ran a drill prior to this for the coronavirus. So they saw it coming. They just saw it as another way to get more funding from the federal government. It's the only excuse for throwing away the equipment the way that they did. Yes, they destroy a lot of equipment, not just a little bit, a lot. Now they're asking people that have body shops and construction people if you have extra masks to drop them off at your local hospitals when they have all that going on. And there are a lot of really cool stuff that is going on in the private sector. Like down here, like I was telling dad, we've got these guys that are building, rather than ventilators, they are building oxygen helmets. They look like fishbowls. You strap on somebody's head, they hook directly up to the wall of oxygen in a hospital, and they're getting the oxygen to the patients that way. There are volunteers that are coming in. They're working for nothing down here in Texas. They're making as many of them as they can and sending them out as a substitute or actually a better replacement in most cases than the ventilators. It's a big thing in Europe. Chicago Med was using them as the only real place that they had ordering them in the US, but now that people are more aware of it. They've been getting orders from all over the place, including outside the country, although since they are an American company, I would hope that they are focusing on America first. Yeah, and these times they don't want to get caught selling to Israel when they can sell it in Detroit at no cost. Oh, no, we're spending, you know, this they say this came from China. We're spending 30 million dollars of our of that money of that trillions of dollars that Came out the Fed is spending 30 million dollars with China for respirator equipment. Yeah, and not because that's what it's worth But that's because that's what the market value has gone up to with everybody trying to order this stuff There's no guarantee that we're gonna get it anyway They have been amazing the government has for emergencies like we're not in one but they found out that There's quite a few of them in their pile that don't work and the strict the strategic reserve Manufacturing plant in Flint, Michigan as big as several football fields wide that Chrysler was Remember Chrysler got a government grant for that and the government could come in take it over blah blah blah that that factory is gone a lot of the factories for strategic Manufacturing like that You just drive your Detroit you drive through through Flint through those areas where those factories work. They won't let people come in but they are shipping stuff out. Well, maybe we'll get something going here anyway. That's why they're saying it's four or five months down the road before they'll be getting their stuff together. And that's why it's got to get here, let's put the parts together. And yesterday was Doc's Day. Doctors' Day, May 30th every year is Doctors' Day. Well, 100 in New York died. over that 24 hours. In 7 hours, 17% of the police force got sick. They're using reefer trucks for more. Police are hit hard. Nursing homes are hit hard. They were questioning about putting her in a home. I would not do it down here. We are having a problem with the nursing homes. It's either the testing and this is who they this these are the two groups that they tried to back to in the nursing homes down here. It's either the people testing the for the coronavirus that are spreading it or it's the Meals on Wheels that are spreading the coronavirus down here to the nursing homes. They're the only cross-contamination between the nursing homes that is taking place right now. Yeah, so they know it's either it's either the testers or it's the meals on wheels I would not trust either if you could make your own food make your own food You know or if you can have family members come in and make food for you Don't trust if you're taking the if you're taking the virus seriously, I would not trust meals on wheels. Oh, we don't have more We we touch them not all the The nurse is meant to come around except for the one that comes in and takes her blood pressure and lab work and stuff. A lot of the other ones we don't let come in. And you guys are of the age group that has to worry about it. That's one of the things that's like everybody, I don't know if you saw the piece with Dr. Oz and his kids and making the argument, well how come we don't quarantine the people that are most susceptible and then the people that are least susceptible and Create an immunity to it faster have them out in the workplace doing the work that they should be doing but still practicing You know the common sense the mass the net their younger bodies are creating antibodies and then we get the vaccine quicker because we'll have people that are Naturally creating an immunity to it But you have to have that discipline of the people that are more susceptible to it. You have to practice that, you know, whole thing. But of course, you had both sides of his family, you know, the son making one argument, the daughter making the other. I did watch that. I thought it was interesting. The daughter's more in my line of thinking, you know, that, yeah, let's get the people out there that can work that are, you know, technically least susceptible to it. and get the economy rolling, that way we can have this equipment and everything out there. You know, a lot of the truck drivers are not showing up to work because they're afraid, you know, they could get ill and something would happen to them. They're still giving this farce down here that the on-demand delivery system is working fine, but almost all the stores have a quarter of what they should on their shelves because they don't have drivers. Yeah, Saturday or Monday I was in Myers parking and I just pulled in and parked and While I was getting out of band came around and I noticed that it had bag full of everything from progress Myers Walmart's and now they're in Myers again and it had Ohio plates on the car The guy got out of the car and his buddy got out on his side and they started walking nice I asked him I Says hey, are you guys here visiting people or are you just going from store to store? buying up our supplies taking Ohio there and Tripling your money, you know, you're going into my supply room. We're at war You're going to my supply room to buy my baby diapers or whatever you buy to take the Ohio and sell for a profit. And you're not even supposed to be here because the state is on shutdown. Well keep in mind Randy, they may not be there buying supplies to take and sell. They could be just there looking for supplies. Remember we had that big blackout in Michigan. We had people driving out as far as they could to get gas and then drive back. Unfortunately, we had rocket scientists who would spend a half a tank to get out to where we were where we still had power to get gas and not have a gas can and then spend a half a tank to get back. So they're in the same boat as when they left. You know, but people will do that They will drive and keep driving until they find the supplies that they need buy them and then take them back to their location I don't honestly I don't see a problem with that But yeah, there's got to be a little understanding there there too, you know, they're the situation that they're in and You've been listening to Don and my dad on and off and if you prepared the way that they talked about this This initial thing is not going to hurt you. If you did the two week thing that the CDC was telling you, well, it was two weeks, two weeks ago, and now they're saying we got another month of this. So if you listen to their two week plan and you just planned on sitting in quarantine for those two weeks, you'd starve to death. Oh, I got plenty of food. I got plenty of toilet paper. But we aren't all in trouble. With people coming up here by they bought to clip my lady bought $600 of toilet paper when it first hit and Walmart told it to her Any minutes later? There's no toilet paper and haven't been any better but when Randy I'm sure they're telling you the same thing. They're telling us down here the supply chain is fine Though it shouldn't matter that she bought the 600 rows the 600 rows of toilet paper It should be back on the shelf already if the supply chain is fine. I would think so Well, that's just one of the examples of the lies that they keep telling people over the airwaves and I point that out to people it's like no It's just because of people hoarding no It's one person who was smart and went out and bought it before it was trouble and now that it is trouble and Other people are complaining that they're hoarding, but they're still telling you that that supply chain is fine But if the supply chain was fine, they would already have it restocked, you know There's a certain amount of stock they keep in the back shop back room I'm sure she didn't buy everything that was back there But somebody else who came in next bought everything that was back there. See Yeah, yeah, they got one guy he was allowed to all the dollar stores and buy left all the hand sanitizer FBI said to his door, went into his garage and confiscated it all, hit him with charges and he's waiting to see what's going to happen to him. I forget what they call it, or selling for profit and all that. Well that's the thing, was he turning around and selling it for profit? Because we have had that happen here where people go right into the Walmart Get a case of toilet paper, sit out in the parking lot and sell each rule of toilet paper for $5 apiece. That's doing it for a profit. That's not doing it for your own self preparedness. Although, you know, people are trying to pay their rent You know there are people who don't have who are not fortunate enough And I know people I'm gonna get smacked in the face for this there are people who are not on a government income check That live paycheck to paycheck and rely on their job to do it and they're out of work right now And they're turning around and they're trying to sell everything they can just to keep their homes I got two of them sitting right here both of my daughters Yeah, I got a third one that didn't come up with them She was laid off I got Chris down in Florida, her and her husband and two sons are trying to get up to Michigan. He's a truck driver, but he's got his own rigging back. So I imagine he'll be coming up as soon as they get ready to. He may not be able to. I can tell you interstate shipping right now, they are telling you that the supply chain is fine, but at the same time, there are places like between Texas and New Mexico where the border is closed. Yeah, it's closing Florida, too. You can't drive your truck through there unless you have the special paperwork. But as some of our truck drivers have been talking about, the special paperwork is just a letter. And if you make copies of that letter, anybody can drive through that area as long as they're shipping something. He's moving, and he won't line up there. He ran it out. Yeah. I hope they figure out something with this year. Samantha, she's going to have her baby here in July. And we're just hoping that they get all this stuff they can care of before all this starts happening. Well, what was the date they gave last time? The end of August? Wait, no, not August. I think they said the end of April was where they rolled it back to now. And then they're saying that this will be there. They're also the Last thing that I heard last week was that this is seasonal and we may have to do this all again in the winter You imagine the what would happen if they tried to do this type of closed down thing in the middle of winter for you guys up there in Michigan How many people are gonna freeze to death? It's crazy it's good that way You might have to make room in your backyard. I'll be coming down that way maybe. If the wet you come this way. I would find a way if I had to. Or I would be going to jail for trying. Well, you know, and they've closed down places where people were trying to get away from it, like Yellowstone Park for camping. You can't go to Yellowstone Park, be out in the middle of BFE away from everybody at a campsite, because they closed that down because people who were trying to escape the coronavirus were headed out that way, and we need to practice. You can't practice more social distancing than being out in the middle of BFE away from everybody. It's like telling people that you can't go out on the lakes in Michigan and go fishing. on your fishing boat for a week because you know we have to practice social distancing. Who the heck are you going to infect out there or who's going to infect you if you're sitting out on a boat by yourself? Well, it makes no sense. Well, the boat ramps here in Michigan are closed down. Uh-huh. So you can't go out, you can't, they want you to sit indoors, be at home, I mean like that, like not just dead but other people are saying this is a lockdown, they're treating you like prisoners. Rand Paul, Rand Paul, Rand Paul's dad, he's a doctor saying that the best thing you can do is get outside and get sunlight, but in some states they're telling you if you step outside your house they're going to arrest you. What sense does that make? Even just getting in your own backyard. Dang it. About a block but a 6 feet distance. and there's got to be more to it. And Trump, he should keep his mouth shut. He doesn't know, you know, he's telling people when the summer gets here it will kill the disease. He don't know that. But that's what he's being told and that's what other doctors are saying too. That's why they're saying the CDC has said that in the summer months This is gonna die down and it may end up being a seasonal thing So yeah, the news media can bash Trump for saying what he's saying But he is just repeating stuff that the CDC has been saying themselves on the air, you know, yeah That's one thing I got is like I watched a couple of times where they were interviewing him. It's like whether they're saying well You're panicking people remember at the start of it you're panicking people you can't do that So he started doing the well, we'll get through this we'll get to the other side now. It's not he's not panicking them enough He needs to push more panic. I can't make that mind They got something that save it.
