Summary
Mark Koernke discussed preparedness products and vendors, then covered two major regulatory topics: the FAA's incoming restrictions on drones and remote-controlled aircraft, which he characterized as a corporate sellout to Amazon and other commercial interests using terrorism as justification, and the broader pattern of immediate-effect regulations that restrict civilian freedoms. He also addressed FAR 103 ultralight aircraft regulations as one of the last remaining areas of aviation freedom, and fielded caller questions about Discord communication channels for Liberty Tree Radio listeners.

That's WBCQ 5.130 Regular Shortwave and LibertyTreeRadio.4mg.com. Dream the other night that a figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat and speaking low to me, he said, we fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free, of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate. And your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press. And you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame to number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm. And keep our country deep and dead Put men of God in jail Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn And your daughters visit doctors So their children won't be Your leaders send artillery And guns to foreign shores And send your sons to slaughter Fighting other people's wars Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God-given right, and pray to God to torture freedom burning bright. As I awoke he'd vanished in the mist from whence he came. His words were true, not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God-given right, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave, to dill the land of the free? It is frightening. It is the last hour of the day intelligence report in the last quarter masters for the year so that makes us quarter masters corner and We are On every Friday as usual and I don't know what else to say about that It's just a little BK yammering away with with mark and seeing what we can we can do Is somebody trying to speak or is that leakage? quite so gentle. We've been ping ponging back and forth between highs of 50s and lows below freezing. The leaves are all soggy and wet. I keep trying to wait for them to dry out so that I can do something about them. I get a little chip away at them, but nothing near completion. So it's my annoying weather Climb it here. I've learned that winter is monsoon season sometimes it's white and fluffy and sometimes it's wet But it's monsoon season. I don't expect it to dry out significantly for a long while Which is a little annoying, but you know we just we just cope with what's what I have a new coping method for cold I got wild and crazy, and I actually spent some money I spent $72 which is a lot for old BK and picked up An interesting thing, a set of insulated coveralls. And that doesn't sound very interesting or exciting, of course, but it is to me, I've been having a lot of fun just wearing them around the house, which is not their intended purpose, but they are serving quite nicely. Regular listeners here may be aware that I tend to keep the house around 55 degrees or so in the winter, just as an economy measure. And with a reasonable amount of clothing that's tolerable and whatnot. And every once in a while I fire up the furnace for 20 or 30 minutes. And my gas bill has been remarkably low for this time of year. Instead of 300 bucks, it's been $100 for the month. We have not had blistering cold blizzard weather or anything but still that is an enormous reduction I have found that with these these comfy cover coveralls on top of my regular clothing I'm not even tempted to fire the furnace so my only concern is to make sure the pipes don't freeze and we're nowhere near that point but I haven't run the furnace in like two days and so I figure these guys are probably saving me $3 or $4 a day in another month or two they will have completely paid themselves back and they will be free coveralls. This is neat. What I chose was from army surplus world.com These are not real mil-spec Mil-serp and all this kind of good stuff. This is commercial manufacturer May or may not be an overrun from one of the contractors. I don't know that but from examining the goods, I couldn't tell either way because I'm very, very impressed and pleased with the way these things are constructed and all this kind of good stuff. Seems like good material, very nice stitching, all of that. There are limitations in the sizing. They don't have a height selection. They're simply small, medium, large XL, two XL, so on and so forth. All the way up to 5X. which is gotta be kinda, I can just imagine what five X looks like if it were fully filled. But I got the two X's, I'm only six feet, and these are just tall enough for me. So if somebody's six foot two or something, the two X's would probably not suit you. Anytime you're measuring something simply by an X size, they're going for sort of an average on height and so on. But I lucked out. These fit great and I'm just really, really impressed. That is army surplus world dot com is the ones I got. There may be better somewhere or cheaper somewhere, but you know after a little bit of shopping that's what I found. And man am I tickled pink. The only thing wrong with them is that I have to unzip them to get to the pockets in my regular clothing and people that know old BK know that I keep an awful lot of junk in my pockets so that my clothes basically weigh about eight pounds. all by themselves but you know aside from that I am really pleased so I'm gonna give a butter knife two thumbs up to that vendor and that particular item any comments or questions or anything like that. Question is that a www? Yes it's www.armysurfplusworld.com and what I got were black insulated coveralls. I figure if it's cold enough outside for me to want these things, I would just as in soak up every photon that comes down the pipe. And the navy blue ones were another six bucks anyway. So that was an easy decision. These things are listed at 72 bucks. And I think their actual real world functional price given my circumstances is zero dollars and zero cents because as I said I think in a month or two they will have paid themselves off completely. Now that wouldn't work if there were ten people in the household and we'd have to insulate all the people it's cheaper to eat the house. with one person in the house, all this cheaper to eat the person than the house. So that's the approach I've been taking. Questions, comments, etc. There's a couple of other things that will gear kind of interesting and they do have some of them here in addition to all the other good stuff. Pistol belt. This is a B.J. Hey George, that you went ahead and took the incentive to go ahead and order that up. Also the research that you did there on determining where is it and much better sharing that with all. Do you do Discord, George? What's that? Do you ever get on the Discord? The Discord? A Discord for Liberty Tree Radio. I could see it's label and sentence marks mailbox. One, two, three. One, two, three. Can you hear me? Discord is not Java. Discord is a chat service. In fact, you can even get a widget for your smartphone, George. Just do a search for Discord. And then use the link on the Liberty Tree Radio website to connect yourself to Discord. It'll ask you to create a nickname. The nickname you don't have to register with an email address, but it's better if you do, because then you can come back with the same name over and over again. If you don't until you log out of the service with the computer that you're using it will recognize that computer as that identity identity so Yeah, and George you could you can the discourse is very very interesting. We believe that you'll find that very very useful and what you can do there George is you can post a link on there you know that you can transcribe and or you can physically put the information in there and then everyone has access to it. Including dad. Thank you George. If he wants to see it and he can use it on air he can read it and put it on himself. There's also the stuff in the Town Hall Meeting. There's stuff I don't always bring up because I can't see it. If more people call in, if they see something that's on Discord that I'm not talking about, on the Town Hall Meeting Discord, you'll notice I've tried to set one up for each of the programs. I need to finish setting it up the rest of the way for the other shows, but for our more interactive ones, it's there. Do a YouTube video on this thing. I'm going to do a depth incident and all that stuff. Very interesting, but the question that was asked was, George, would you care to share with the listeners, the source and the vendor that you use? That was the question. George, you can paste it in the tiny URL and get an easy URL from it that you can recite easily as well. I will add that Discord has done a very good job on their marketing and packaging. You can log on to their service either through a web browser or through a downloadable installable program on Windows or on a smartphone. So they've got all of those different media covered. It does let you paste and display photos and links and all that kind of good stuff So it's a little slick in that fashion. It's it's fancier Than team speak though. They both work very very well on the audio. I personally refused to use the LTR Discord channel because I'm already on discord and the way it's set up is a privacy violation it would cause a certain amount of leakage between my LTR persona and my gaming persona so I won't do it. Nobody told me about it. They just kind of fled the IRC channel and moved to Discord and after a while I figured out where they went. But so not everybody on the planet is going to be on Discord. So it's a good idea to do things like, you know, convert a URL to a tiny URL so that you can recite that on air. Just a hint. One, two, three. Can you guys hear me? Yes, you are still overdriven, but we got you. I'm overdriven just a little bit. You know, I'm on Discord with the Liberty Tree Radio ID, and that's my work ID for Liberty Tree Radio. And over here, I'm on Discord with my gaming handle. You can have more than one Discord handle, BK. I know you can, but there is some leakage. I'm paranoid about these things. And I see the leakage and I know how it works and I do not choose to allow the leakage. So that's the way it goes. is that i think that's more more uh... leakage background noise somebody needs to close their mike okay so uh... let's touch on some other topics i will remind people again that the uh... f a a is inching forward towards a whole bunch of new restrictions on so-called drones which in their uh... in in the real world means uh... not only quad copters but every sort of radio or remote controlled flying thingamajig available there was a congressional hearing a few months ago and the people who are invited where the f a and some congress stolz and amazon and some uh... a few commercial operators uh... you know amazon of course wants to own the skies and it turns out that they've already made some deals with various cities so that they are the only commercial operator allowed to fly the skies. So the feds are in the process of selling the skies to corporate interests and that means telling you that you don't have any access. They are planning this, they're inching along, there's not a lot of publicity and those restrictions will just sort of pop into existence. by surprise to most people. So if you are interested in having a drone or a quadcopter or a radio control airplane or anything else of that sort and not having a bunch of stupid restrictions, the things they're listing are that you have to get a federal pilot's license for your your drone which will initially be cheap and easy and then of course it will get harder and all of your equipment has to be registered and there's all sorts of operational rules and blah blah blah the usual garbage they will pump out all sorts of fantasies like what if some terrorist did something bad with it well you know what we've had radio-controlled airplanes since since World War II. My dad built one as a kid with one vacuum tube in it, you know, and he was a kid during World War II, you know, a teenager. You know, we've had all this stuff for all this time. If it were going to be the favorite weapon of terrorists, we would have seen it by now. It doesn't mean that some CIA spook won't kill a bunch of people in an airliner for political purposes. We certainly saw them kill 3,000 people. on 9-11 for political purposes so we know they're perfectly willing to do that kind of stuff and it wouldn't take as many people or as much logistics to attack an airliner as it would be to attack an entire high-rise building but they're certainly willing to do this stuff if they don't get their way. So, this will go through regardless of what anybody else thinks about it. The process is mainly seen as a sellout to the corporate interests with the usual terrorist excuse behind it. But then again, you know, they could pass any law with terrorism as an excuse. They could say, you must be strip searched every time you emerge from your house, because otherwise the terrorists will get the little children and mother and apple pie will vanish from the face of the earth and human history. It's a BS, but it's the usual stuff. This is the momentum of the vampires. They've got you know what's what's a million sprinkled off of the system and all it takes is a little bit of corruption and greed like you know amazon and so forth and they can put their almost anything they want on paper sooner or later their grip will break maybe uh... you know the civil population will have to do something extremely caused that maybe not okay but uh... it is coming go ahead but you know i think it's i've heard like uh... the rollout of the 5G is uh... for the drone frequency No, I'd be too. Nope. There may be authorized official government in Amazon drones using 5G. It's certainly a technology available. I've heard all kinds of interesting stories about 5G. Most of them boil down to you probably don't want the spraying all over you, but it's going to anyway. Cliff, I had an interesting thing to say recently. I really like Cliff. Hi, though. I don't take everything he says at face value. He says that 5G is being rolled out as a defense screen against the grays, that their ability to control people's minds is disrupted by 5G frequencies, and that's why we're rolling it out. I don't know about that one. I will wait and see if suddenly we have a drop off of reported abductions and such. But we will see there's lots and lots of theories around however the point of my time here doubts Yeah, who knows? My point of my comments is that these restrictions on drones are coming down the pipe Be aware of these and if you want to have a nice drone, you might want to think about getting that fairly soon because when they slam it down on you, it's going to be just like the Brady Bill and all these other things. They just jam it through and then announce it, surprise, surprise, and no grace period. I noticed the pattern. back in the eighties whenever they're passing a law that's kind of me reasonable and sensible you can make a case for it they'd say this law goes into effect in six months or three months or whatever the case is when they're passing a law that's that's basically just sticking it to the public it becomes effective immediately you know like all of the gun stuff and so forth uh... that phase change occurred in the eighties and we've been in that mode ever since because you know that's that's when the vampires, the deep state, whatever you want to call them, really got over in their various attacks on our culture and the population and so forth. So you can expect that sort of behavior when they shove this thing through too. So be aware, this is coming down the pipe. If you want to have a decent quality drone that doesn't have a built-in kill switch and a built-in IFF and all of this crud they're talking about, you'd probably better start thinking about that now and get busy shopping that is the point of my comment any any questions or comments no you're most likely right yeah i don't like it but i think i probably am on this one uh... okay now there is a topic that i want to cover before the end of the year right it's got a one more comment it was surprised you know i have to register my uh... my motor was both of what airplane well if they don't have a motor and they don't have control and they probably aren't much interested in it but they certainly do want to control everything that's got control and basically I'm just wondering how long it is until they drop the hammer on ultralight aircraft and stuff because there's way too much freedom there you can't have peasants buzzing that's the area that is the you know the they've come down on the top end of the of the experimentals ultra lights are a great last free flying and it's the only place where anybody's good Under FAR 103 which is the rules for ultralight aircraft. There's very little restriction on FAR 103 It's a lovely American rule It's it's you know one of the old-school FAA rules where you know the FAA used to be in favor of aviation They now days behave as if they hate aviation and don't want it to happen anymore. But FAR 103 is a lovely little set of regulations, very basic, very common sense, and you know, just, you know, what's the rule? Don't be the D word and you're fine. There's just, you know, stay out of the class C and above airspace and you're cool. and stay away from congested areas because they don't want to crash landing in somebody's subdivision or city street or whatnot. Short of that, you can pretty much do what you want as long as you're displaying some common sense. And that's no longer the American way, or at least the American government way, to let people do what they want as long as they aren't being jerks. But we retain that for now. depends on which class you're talking about ordinary paper club type of you're not playing from your first thing they will do is take your plane away let's have a look at the living comment people saying you know man more and more of this we're delicious there and these people are warring against my law they're warring against my constitution they're warring against me they're warring against me I see a man as criminal combatants. They stand at terminology outlaw. May God have mercy on their soul.
