And this is always a good kind of a thing to ask yourself to kind of build all your actions around. I heard a neat saying over the weekend, kind of a twist on that Mahatma Gandhi, where he said, you gotta be the change you want to see in the world. Well, kind of like bringing it home. I heard somebody twist that phrase into, you gotta be the kind of man in the case of some of our lady listeners, you got to be the kind of lady that you wish had some more influence on you as you were coming up. And this is, like I say, you can plug that sort of thing into anything, like whether or not you're deciding to vote for like Wasserman Schultz or whatever. It just helps a person to figure out, well, what am I going to do today and how am I going to do it? Because as you know, when we get enough people acting sensibly, All of the idiocy just doesn't have any room to stand. And I just like to see that happen, but if I can't see a whole bunch of it, I'm damn sure gonna see some of it happening around me, because I'm trying to become that man that I know is a useful person that I could've used. Well, I think one of the... That's why I don't shut up when I go to places where you're running to a lot of people. It's funny, because now you run into as many older as you do young people, and so... of any kind, whereas it used to be you'd be retiring and you know you should have a, usually you wouldn't be out there where the kids normally be at McDonald's or anything like that, but that's changed now. We know how that is with the economy. There's old people serving up burgers in McDonald's. Yeah, something don't seem right, but anyhow, yes sir. Yeah, because the kids won't get above the good earth to do most anything. That's why they're not out there with the job. There are some out there working. So those are where, you know, when you see somebody, you ask them a question. Know them something, per se. Good question. that is going to set off some kind of switch if they're thinking, or at least when they do that, when they do answer, if it's a skew an opening, really, well that's fascinating. Set them up for another force the brain juices to move. Only a dialogue person, maybe. Sometimes you get going and when you leave them, that there's a good make sense. I'm trying to argue that it doesn't, but it does make sense. Sometimes you'll affect people, otherwise you won't. But unless you step up to the plate and do something, then you're not going to have any effect. If you just keep trying to suck it in and we'll play it safe. In a public place or a public venue, especially when you're traveling, you're probably not going to see that person maybe ever again in your lifetime, depending on where it is you're going and what it is you're doing. But on the other hand, every once in a while you keep nipping at somebody, and if you just smile and wave, and if they say something, or you might just follow through and kind of give a little more information. Don't inundate, but certainly try to minimally or to a little nip educate. No matter what you're talking about. It's kind of hard to do when you're talking to people between video games and they're responding with half sentences and that kind of thing. Yeah, well that's where if they're at work it's a little hard. That's why usually catching them at work is what you're saying there. Yeah, the temptation to pull out the, or not just video games, the temptation to be talking to the phone more than the people who are right there in front of you. Not really needed here. I would say time to go. You guys have the right idea though, like you were saying Mark, just to use that Socratic method to get those little brass wheels in a person's mind turning. Because when the people start doing some thinking, and apparently there's people from thinking, at least for themselves, but if you ask a question and get those little brass wheels in the people's heads spinning wide, pretty soon you're to swallow the lies and foolishness. that people are in the habit of. The statistics show that what is it men between the ages 35 and 40 spent an average of 20 hours a week? playing internet games 20 hours a week just think of all you could get done physically or otherwise in 20 hours Per week. What do you think you could accomplish with that much time? I'm sure that that way is not realistic. Yeah because I don't especially say that some are double that, you know, to explain that you can be any more productive is impossible because of the way the video game time. You can be any more productive than they are because of possibly good, you know, in any way you can be any more productive. Did you get in the way of the video time? If you think of it this way, you know, they don't, you can't gamble or go into a casino unless you buy it on 1821, whatever it is, okay, and play games when you can sit all day at home and play games. Well, you don't think about it for a while there, now, you were a trucker, you know, Disney State was one of them. They had one-armed bandits at stops. They had variations on different kinds of gambling games at the truck stops. And in fact, typically the diesel desk paid the cash out that they won, or they'd have prizes they'd win inside the truck stop. Well, these are your, what, pinball machines? Yeah, well... Same thing you know you win the family in here so Gambling is not necessarily something new it's just there's different types of Addictions, I guess you can say that They've been using I guess mankind and his natural addictions Maybe shall we say what entertained? I don't know if that would be a good bird to use or not, but the mindset of, you know, grown man 20 hours a week on the average is up pretty quick. If you focus that on something else, something productive, I'm wondering what you could come up with. But to sit around all day and just play video games, video games over 20 hours a week. That's something I've never allowed here. We've never had, and I've mentioned this before. We never allowed for the video games, Xboxes and all that stuff. Actually, I mean literally, there wasn't any time for it between homeschooling and building something and building tree forts or go-kart or something. You know, when the kids are growing up, I always kept them focused on something outside. So they don't necessarily miss anything. They never had it. And no question if they went over to one of their friends house they'd play you know a video game for an hour or so, but they don't spend their life trying to conquer war of the worlds or something along those lines. Those games are I'm not even sure this is the name of them all. It doesn't really matter. But 20 hours a week. If you're getting a paycheck for 40 hours a week And you've got an initial 20 hours a week. You know, that's like half your paycheck. You know, there's a couple of different ways you can put that. We have what? 20, 30, 40 year old, 40 year old still living at home with mom and dad. Waiting for them to pay the internet service, I guess. One of the things that got us talking about this. We know a young couple had a little baby and of course they're both working. And the choice came between buying diapers and formula and things like that or paying the internet service. Which one do you think they chose? They picked the internet service. Go ahead, follow me on the air. Yeah, I just wanted to chime in on the conversation here. I agree, you know, you've got to first see it and experience it and able to The people that I respected and the people who spoke with very sharp wisdom were people who studied Scripture. And for a long time, I never did it. And it took my life and all kinds of chaotic ways. Never really knowing which way to go this way, that way, what is the meaning of life, etc. And then finally, I said, you know, I have to come to that point where you come to yourself and you say, I need to do this. is absolutely critical. And you know, scripture was, you know, there's many guys out there that, you know, we were born and studied and learned the ways from our fathers and forefathers that meant something. And we're there for a reason, absolutely. It uses, but they don't have scripture and they will add from your foundations. If you're not careful, you are not set in your wisdom and your knowledge and knowledge. And these things are more precious than silver and gold. Then you're going down the road and you can see signs, you know, there's all kinds of blinky lights and neon lights and lights and flashing things and yellow and red and you know, but you know, looking a little closer and seeing things that are just a little bit more, or should I say a little less obvious. You know, why is that sign right where it is? You know, I went over to a friend's house the other day. You know, the neighbor didn't trim the tree, and the tree grew the sign. Or what does that tell you about the person then? That tells you that that person really doesn't care much about their lawn or maybe the other people seeing the sign. When you see things like that, and it's just something that could go right past you, and you have no idea. unless you're looking and when you look and you actually can see, you know, your mind's eye is able to filter and disseminate what is there then you have a force of the world around you a little bit more than those who... Well, I appreciate your point there, you know, speaking of the Bible, if you will. It is no, I suppose you would have to be in my age group to see the difference of what the lack of God in schools, what abortion has done to this country, and you can go right on down the list. You can see the difference. The demoralization of an entire, if you will. And you're right. I don't know, I can't tell you the day, the month of the year, but I realized at some point I need to start reading some scripture. There's supposed to be some wisdom here and as I started reading and understanding what I was reading I knew it was correct. There is some wisdom here. Reasons why we shouldn't be doing things just forevermore. You'll never have it all. But people have not, you know, they don't seem to be interested. You know, like I consider and tell you, 20 hours out of the week, you know, grown men are sitting there playing video games. Well, what if they spent that 20 hours a week studying scripture? What do you think would be the difference between that individual from one side to the other? You'd be more apt to do the right thing under the right circumstances with a better understanding and using wisdom, playing 20 hours a week on, you know, I don't know, a Pac-Man or something, adds up to nothing in absolute waste. Absolutely. So, and then, but yet you don't hear many people discussing scripture because it always creates the argument. Well, the Protestants say this and the Catholics say that. No, that's not what happened. Blah, blah, blah. So it ends up being something you kind of keep to yourself just like a video game. in the game or you in the Bible and it rarely gets discussed the only time that things get Brought to the table if there's something unusual took place in one or the other applied somehow I can tell you people that if you aren't reading a Amount of scripture a week or a day Then you have already and you are already standing on the field of, I want to use, I suppose, the word ignorance as to what is going on in this world. Because the battle for good and evil has been going on for a very long time, long before you and I got here, and it's still rolling around today. Anyway, we've got to go to break here. You know I wanted to readily admit I'm not a Bible thumber. I am not an authority. I am not a scholar when it comes to the Biblical understandings of that like maybe most people understand a few things and I probably should know more and I should probably spend more time reading the Bible You know like I was pointing out, you know 20 hours a week man. You'd certainly be a scholar at some point, but I don't have 20 hours a week to focus on anything that I can think of other than radio. Yeah So if you're one of those individuals like myself who have come to the conclusion, you know, how I came to my conclusion was I was in a battle trying to find out why all these people, meaning the government, had power to just take money out of my checks and how I owed them all the time. Any time you turn around you have to pay a fee. As somebody else said, that was my battle. And as I started reading, studying law, you know, people were bringing things to the table back then, that was back in the 90s. I began to understand, oh man, and moreover the verbiage that was used in law caused me to, oh this has a biblical ring to it somehow. That's the way it seemed to me. So I started cross-referencing things with the law versus the Bible, why God would have this law. And that's the path that I took. I'm not the one who wrote Romans 13, let every soul be subject to the higher power. There is no power but of government. Oh, did I say government? Yeah, they had to change that. There is no power but of God, okay? So the government which is to be your God and people are worshiping government they they don't fear God they fear the government this all gets pointed out many times over the years if you're paying attention or if you believe the words that you read in the Bible and you could see if you were somewhat of a follower that where the moral corruption lies the destruction basically of Christianity You know, I remembered, maybe some of you had this thought when they started talking about how UFOs and aliens and blah blah blah, you know, people kind of laughed it off. But don't laugh too quickly because it's science. Science has replaced the Bible. And if science can convince you that it was aliens that came down and created mankind, and I'm sure you've discovered this, right? It was the aliens. They were here millions upon millions of years. You always get sick to my stomach when everybody uses that description. Well, 10 million years ago. There is nobody on this planet that was here 10 million years ago. You couldn't describe an accident, a car accident from yesterday. Nevermind 10 million years ago. But these are people who wish to be considered. Gifted somehow by all the intellect that they have collected off the internet or wherever they got it. And they're all willing to share it with you. Nothing connected to common sense, morals, freedom, or anything else. All the fighting you've been watching in the past two years, for example, back and forth, back and forth. Oh, Hillary's going to jail, but Democrats this. I mean, just pick one. There's plenty of it out there. Have you seen any biblical reference? Have you heard any biblical reference? Is there anything discussing your freedom or the laws that already exist that have been enforced or are being enforced? You see and hear none of it, which in turn leaves it all up to you as it always has. It's always been your choice, how you're going to conduct your life. You're in God's world. You're responsible for everything. As in if you bring some harm to somebody's life, liberty or property, you are responsible for those things. In the government world or the Satan's world, nobody's responsible for anything. These things aren't hard to figure out. And as much as people really said sometimes, oh, believe me, there's been a few times in my life, oh man, am I responsible? Oh, I don't want to be responsible, but you have to pony up. And if everybody's doing what they're supposed to be doing, any problems. We live today in nothing but demoralized, decayed lies, cheats, and what have you. And somehow they place themselves on some sort of pedestal with a political position or something that we should worship. Some of the things that comes with the garbage that comes out of these politicians' mouths Somebody should immediately stand there and just slap them down. But we're just accepting it though. And that's why I sound like I sound disgusted. So let me give you a piece of advice. Surely some of you out there do some scripture, studying, reading, what have you. I say keep going. And if you know somebody's putting in 20 hours a week on a video game, I would now hand them a Bible or something. that might connect them back to mankind. Boy, when you sit back, I'm sure Mark can tell you this, when you sit back and look at the world that we're living in today, it's total science and creativity and... I sound believe we didn't have all this, but for there are people out there, obviously born after we've been born, that have no idea what the world was like without a computer. Haven't got a clue. They would never reach. or a pencil and paper. They will reach for their phone or their computer, but never a pencil and paper. And that's why it's not important in the schools today for kids to be able to write their names so that they can just put it on their phone. Technology is showing us that in the future everybody's going to have to have a phone, a smartphone or something of that nature. The body, you know, information so they can scan you. Just like cattle and if you don't mind being a sheep or cattle or oh I don't know Frog whatever whatever it is you don't mind being then good for you. I guess There's somebody here to take care of you But then again, that's something else that we have a problem that everybody wants to be taken care of But they just don't get the price or paying for the special care that they're receiving Truly, I don't understand the battle between the between the races. Can I use that word? Races the battle between the the ethnic cultures the races that they go on on the planet Yeah, I've mentioned this before it's simple. It's so simple Who's your God? Pull out your wallet pull out your purse got your driver's license. Oh, yeah So scared enough. Oh, yeah Get your fishing license all the things all the privileges that have been granted to you By the powers that be and then no how we're different Do you think that computer or any computer? Stupidity overflowing. I mean, look at this girl that they put in the, uh, in Congress who doesn't have enough money to rent an apartment, who tells you, just pay for it. It were true, I don't know, I didn't rub Obama's balls and I sure as hell hadn't rubbed Michelle's balls if she has any. But if it is true, what we've had in the past for eight years, you know, a president with a, you know what I'm saying, we allowed for that. And we've already accepted it. We're ready to move on now and see what the next entertainment is going to be. We allowed for that. Under duress, of course. And if somebody was trying to tell us the truth, we didn't want to listen, but we did hear that it's okay for men to go in the women's bathroom, we heard about that and all the other things that came with it, and we didn't do anything about that, it doesn't appear. Other good information on his website is one called like many times, kind of like in comic books, if you give an innocuous, prolific researchers won't even bother to open the cover or look at it.
