Mark Koernke discussed proposed FAA drone regulations that would require federal pilot licensing, drone registration, electronic kill switches, and government authority to shoot down civilian drones without restriction. He highlighted that drone operators and hobby industry representatives were excluded from the congressional meetings that shaped these rules. Koernke then reviewed the Swell Pro Splash drone as an off-the-shelf alternative with waterproof design and cargo hook capabilities for fishing and other applications. He concluded with a cryptocurrency market analysis, noting that Bitcoin and Litecoin investors who bought a year prior had achieved 50% and 25% gains respectively, and predicted another market cycle within three to four months.

A figure walking through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three cornered hat. And speaking low to me, he said, we fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free, the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate. And your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press. And you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize them. family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children won't leave. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to torture freedom burning bright. As I awoke he'd vanished in the mist from whence he came His words were true, not free But we have ourselves to blame For even now as tyrants trample each God-given rite We only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep And wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep What would be your answer if he called out from the grave Is this still the land of the free? malicious, test your violence, for malicious stealing their gear, mobilizing to the US southern border are headed there to deter, but, walking. There was some sort of loud-mouthed cynic on the air saying, gee, the money's gonna get slid sideways to the Israelis. Can't imagine how that happened. Yeah, and again, well, here's the thing, watch this. One of the things that companies, and hacking the few border patroller were there, which then had the doubles, it's in the, uh, I always have subjects, uh, advance which is a good thing because things went sideways today and I've discovered that there are a couple of clocks that don't agree with each other yeah one of them said I had plenty of time and the other one said not so much pal so sorry about committee clocking the same way I've got two clocks here they're both nucleus yeah it does get a little confusing sometimes you scratch your head and wonder how did that happen you know it was that a singular event or a slow drift or what's the deal oh well so at any rate did we do all our time stamping and all that kind of good stuff early on okay some interesting things are going on A few months ago, there was a big meeting between Congress and the FAA and a bunch of corporate interests discussing the topic of drones, which is what we say nowadays when we mean radio control airplanes, quadcopters, etc. and they had a little meeting and decided, well, you know, we need additional rules to cope with these newfangled threats to motherhood and apple pie. There is one group that was not represented at that meeting, and that was drone operators, the actual individuals that fly these things that have a hobby, anybody in the hobby industry supplying them, etc. They were not present. The people present were Congress and the FAA and all of the corporate suits, people like Amazon and stuff. Isn't that sweet? So we can anticipate what will come out of that meeting. uh... and we had to study correctly what came out of that meeting there is a new proposed f a a authorization bill with a whole bunch of stuff uh... jammed into it now when you run these authorization bills that's pretty much giving the uh... organization it's it's marching orders so you know that's a that's a convenient place where congress can stuff all sorts of directors do this that the other thing This particular bill has new requirements to affect drone operations, quadcopters and radio control airplanes and everything. The new regulations are not in effect yet because the bill hasn't been finalized, but this is what those guys put together. They have now set up a system whereby the federal government will create a pilots test for drones. That will be on the internet. You have to pay for, take, and pass a pilot's test from the federal government and get your drone's pilot's license with your name, rank, and serial number and all this kind of good stuff on it. And then if you actually seek to own one of these little monsters, these terrors, these threats to humanity, it must have a federal registration and a serial number and be marked on the device and so on. Then we have all the usual rules and regulations about when you can fly and where and how I and all this kind of good stuff. And they're also specifying in the current version, this may get dropped out, that all these things have to have an electronic kill switch so that any doofus with a government paycheck can take a little gadget pointed at your drone and shoot it out of the sky electronically. And they are also authorizing that various and sundry government officials, basically anybody with a government paycheck, has the right under any circumstances and total discretion to physically shoot down and destroy any drone they want. So this is your freedom being disposed of as we speak, and very few people are talking about it or telling you about it. But that's what our employees, our representatives in the federal government came up with. Now, it would be easy to blame the FAA because they're the ones that are going to have to enforce and fill out all this kind of nonsense. But in this area, I would say that the FAA are not the bad guys. They certainly didn't push for that. They have a history of being aviation enthusiasts and wanting to try to make things work. They come out with various rules and regulations that are awfully common sensation, their description and application of all the government agencies that abuse their power and existence and so on. I would say that in general the FAA is not the guilty one, but yeah, go ahead and speak. Yeah, you know I heard about with the FAA like last year a couple years ago that if you didn't register your bind Yeah, there were there was a directive along that I don't know whether that one came out of the FAA or whether pushed into it In general the FAA does not have a long track record of being the bad guys. They've Consistently been the good guys in an awful lot of stuff promoted aviation, try to keep the skies fairly open and that kind of thing. But this time around the authorization bill is specifying all of this crud to go into their rules and their operations. And if that stays in the bill as of the time it has passed, then their hands are tied. So this is what your Congress wants to do to your freedoms in that area. I was wondering, I remember hearing in the news, almost 40 years ago... Reagan era confrontation, yeah. They were adequately paid, not terrifically so, but it was an incredibly stressful job, especially with the technology they had available. They were moving around little scraps of paper to try to keep track of... aircraft in the air and those guys are having the ulcers and heart attacks like crazy because you know they had not worked out the ergonomics and distress factors and so on basically their technology had not improved since World War two and yet they had vastly more traffic and faster aircraft and so on so you know they they're both sides were jerks back in the Reagan era. Reagan had to do something to show some union somewhere that there was a limit to what they could get away with. Those guys had a legitimate complaint. They were unfortunate that they ran into the period when the administration had to show that it could stand pat. They chose the wrong year to act up. Actors as well Reagan was president for only a very short period of time before Bush attempted to assassinate him Oh, did I say that that's just purely my opinion. Of course that that Bush was behind it But what we now know That we did not know back then was that to a very large degree Bush took over the entire White House for most of Reagan's official term and basically ran things from Behind the curtain and then he had a term of his own so for all practical purposes Bush was president for 10 or 11 years Is what boiled down to and that's why we got so much of this neocon garbage going on during what was putatively the Reagan administration that makes a lot of things that seemed confusing back then Seem much more understandable than they were at the time because now we realize that the shenanigans was going on. I think you got more stuff to move on to now. Right, germane to the topic of drones and drone regulation and so on, I thought I would mention to people that there's an interesting off-the-shelf drone that you can you can acquire right now and you might want to acquire it right now if these rules become too draconian and so forth. This is not cheap, but if you don't want to do the assembly work and design work in the electronics and so on yourself Somebody else has done a very interesting thing. There is a drum called the swell Pro splash Okay, spelled swell Pro is s w e l l p r o r are we about to have music or something? I'm hearing Okay, anyway, the Swell Pro, S-W-E-L-L-P-R-O, the model name is the Splash. What's interesting about, actually this is version three, so if that's germane. What this is, it's a rather expensive drone, it's like $14 or $1700, but it's got some very interesting features that people might want to look at. or maybe replicate. One of them is it's got a big plastic shell out over it so that it is watertight. All of the guts inside this thing are sealed up. There's a probably injection molded plastic case around this whole thing that covers all of the electronics and it's got all the necessary o-rings and seals and all that kind of good stuff. So it truly is a water-tight device. It is intended for operation in and around coastal areas with saltwater. Is somebody speaking? Yeah, BK, I had a question on drones. They were mandating a kill switch for models. An electronic kill switch, yeah. Yeah, is that mandate applied to a official them. I'm not sure what the question is. Well, you know, the question is, does the kill switch mean also the governmental issue? Not to my knowledge. I think it just applies to the grubby little peasant struts. That's what I want to know. Wouldn't be at all surprising if there were one On a government drone then it would probably be heavily encrypted to protect it from some some you know Smelly little peasants actually activating it drones with qualified immunity no doubt Okay so at any rate the Swell Pro Splash Drone, here's what's interesting about it. It's got a plastic shell and it's very watertight, it's all sealed up. As a matter of fact there's a little rigmarole in getting it apart and changing the batteries because they're inside. comes in two flavors there is the fishing version and the 4k camera version what is interesting about these two things well for one thing it's a reasonable size fairly competent drone it is all but impossible, not entirely impossible, all but impossible to crash it over water because it almost always floats correct side up and then it can launch from the water. So it does some neat stuff. People have shown footage of it being used in clear water environments. That means ocean water because actual freshwater is almost always full of algae and opaque. But if you recall ever flying over a coastal area like in Hawaii or what have you, you look down, you can see all of those schools of fish and the sharks and everything else in those coastal waters as you're looking down from the airplane. Well, the exact same thing happens with this drone. So there's a lot of footage of them flying around in island saltwater environments, spotting schools of fish and sharks and all that kind of good stuff. Okay. So far so good. Both of these versions have cameras. The one with the fancy camera is the 4K camera. It's got a three-way gimbal as opposed to a two-way gimbal and so on. But what's really, really interesting is the cheaper version, the $1,400 so-called fishing camera, uses a simpler camera and a simpler gimbal. In exchange for that, it has a cargo hook. Okay, think about this for a minute Here you have a regular drone that can be flown around with a regular remote control panel So, you know suppose you have your buddy flying the drone around it's got this controllable cargo hook on the bottom The idea is that you can use this drone to grab hold of say your fishing lure on the end of your line and your buddy flies the drone out a hundred yards over the lake or what have you. You've got your spool open just you know paying out and as soon as it gets about to the end it you know he sends a command that lets go of the bait and you go ahead and you just did a 100 yard cast out into a lake. or the ocean or what have you. It's kind of cute and neat and fun. But it's also kind of interesting, they show some video of people doing this stuff and the first such flight they catch a fish, it's not too surprising because you're covering an awful lot more ground flying the thing out 100 yards than you are in the distance that you can cast and you're getting that much farther away from the boats and so on and so forth. So the fishing people might enjoy this. They have done the same thing in coastal areas where you can see where the fish are, which makes it even easier because you and your buddy get up, you know, you've got your fishing pole and he's got the remote control, you fly the drone out there, you look around, you see where the school of fish are and that's where you drop your bait. You're pretty much guaranteed to catch a fish. It becomes an interesting tool in that regard, and they call it a phishing device. Let's be a little bit more creative. Remember that not everything that hangs from a cargo hook necessarily has to be a fishing lure. You could be dropping navigational beacons into a hostile location. You could be, you know, perish the thought that you might actually drop something that could be described as ordinance. but you can certainly drop markers, you can drop smoke on a target that you want somebody to pay attention to without necessarily walking up to that target yourself in person. There's all kinds of interesting things you could do. I think that the ability to drop cameras and microphones in places that you can't necessarily reach in person would be a very interesting thing. a technique like this could get a version two of the Bohemian Grove videos. If you air drop your own little robots into a location and they keep things all around and direct their cameras. I mean, there's all sorts of things. Your imagination is the only limitation. But what's interesting is here off the shelf, you can buy one of these Swell Pro Splash version 3's in fishing version and here it is right off the shelf ready to go You've got yourself a fairly competent drone with nice camera and real-time feeds and all this kind of good stuff so you can fly it around first person and it's got a controllable cargo hook So, one step closer to really cool utility available off the shelf. Mark, do you have any comments or questions or anything like that? Oh, they're actually a pretty cool solution. One of the other things to remember is, we're still dropping, for instance, using a loop like that. There have been some versions of Little I.R. Beacon's marketed, I think, on her brand name, Firefly. These things kind of clipped onto the end of a 9 volt battery and just sat there and blinked until the battery ran down. Pretty cheap little guys, you know. Uh oh, if somebody's gonna find somebody a copier. If I'm listening to the background noise. Someone should know to Mun's device and it might be... Some of the usual suspects are not online tonight, so you know. certain suspect is. He wandered off to the potty or something. Yeah, but he should have had the mic off anyway. Yeah, strange. Okay, so I will remind everybody that a year ago, it is now November, so a year ago in October, I started ragging on all of you talking about cryptocurrencies, and I was saying, you know, hey everybody, I am not a financial advisor, this is not financial advice, usual disclaimers, blah, blah, blah, but here's what I think. What I was yelling at all of you about, this is before the big run up in December and January, and then the ski slope afterwards, and the stabilizing, and all this kind of good stuff. Bitcoin was at about $4,400 at the time. and Litecoin was about $40 at the time. And I was telling all of you that in my opinion, my purely unqualified opinion, if people could scrape up $500 or $1,000 or something that they wouldn't need immediately and put it into the cryptocurrencies, that a year from then they would be happy campers. I said, I don't know whether you'll be up 50% or 5,000%, but I think that you'll be happy campers. So let's look back and see what happened. From then to now... There's been an awful lot of activity. We all know about the tremendous run-up where Bitcoin went to $20,000 very briefly. More like $18,000 is realistic. But it did go up there and then the crust broke and it came down the ski slope and has deposited us at where we are right now. We now know that there is a bunch of funny business. We know that a fraudulent coin called Tether injected billions of dollars of liquidity into the system. Tether is in the process of collapsing. Now the people behind it are fraudsters and creeps and pitos and should be locked up in a cage individually. But that contributed very much to the run-up. and then some manipulations involving the Mt. Gox bankruptcy trustee slamming the market with enormous instantaneous sales helped slam the market back down again. So there were some tremendous manipulations going on. Nonetheless, the overall trend was the things went up and a little crazy and then they came down but not nearly as much. So where are we right now? Well, Bitcoin has been ping-ponging around between about 62 and 6500, sometimes touching 66, you know we're talking maybe the last month or so. Litecoin has been floating around in the low 50s around 52, something like that, occasionally dipping down into the high 40s and occasionally spiking up near 60 but not so much. What kind of performance is that? Well, if people had jumped into this field when I started talking about it and haranguing it, that was $4,400. If we choose $6,600 because the arithmetic is easy, that means Bitcoin is up 50% in that year. How does that compare against bank interest that you get in your checking account? Of course, if you had exactly the right timing and the wonderful instincts and so on you sell off at 18 or 19 or something and then you know it falls back in the current range and you buy back in you have three times as much but I didn't have those instincts and I imagine most of us would not So that's just the realm of novelists and fiction writers. But if you had bought and ridden through all of that crazy period and ended up here and still had it in your hand, you would be up 50%. Compared against the 1% that you get from bank interest, that's 50 years worth of interest right there in one year. A similar story with Litecoin though, not as much. We consider Litecoin to be the little brother to Bitcoin. We expect it to have more legs when things kick in the next time that it's got a high beta that is a sort of a high multiplier when Bitcoin goes up a little, Litecoin goes up a larger percentage when it goes down a little, Litecoin goes down a larger percentage. But Litecoin was at about $40 back when I started hammering on this topic. It's now at about $52, something like that. So what's that, about 25% gain instead? It's not as much as we expected. It's not as good as Bitcoin, but it's still 25% or so in one year. And that is despite all of the gyrations, the crazy run up and then the crazy crash. that have transpired. So where are we now? Not only have the cryptos done very very nice things to those people who bought in and just tell Pat didn't try to do the fancy trader stuff. Traders either make them into or lose their shirts basically. You know the people that buy, hold and you know every decade move out of a market into a different market. uh... are the ones that are much more likely to succeed the less spectacularly uh... but where we go We have been in a fairly long period by crypto standards of market consolidation. This ski slope has run down and flattened out. There have been a few jumps and hiccups and stuff. Anybody can pick up these charts off the internet. That's easy. There are a bazillion websites discussing the topic on any given day. And we have been stabilized and everything has gone very sideways for last month, month and a half, something along these lines. All of the experienced traders say this looks like a classic market formation. It looks like we've gone through the market cycle and it's thinking about starting up again. We back in the spring and summer all expected the fourth quarter to be another replay of the Wild West. It is not looking like that's going to be the case. What I think is going on is that the fat cats, the big banks, and so on are trying very hard to get into this space, as well as all the simple wealthy vampires. They've been slow about it and they are slowing things down so that their buddies can get on board before the next run So we probably have a little bit of time. We probably have the rest of this quarter to Make up our minds, but anybody that listened to old BK, but did not act Let me wag my finger at you and say well, you know you missed out on 50% gains in Bitcoin and 25 ish percent coins in Litecoin I think that there will be even more finger wagging after the next cycle and the next cycle will, in my opinion, start within maybe three or four months. So you have a little bit of time, but I think that this time anybody who does not jump on the bandwagon deserves to be told, we told you so. So here's an opportunity. We got a phase one. You saw what happened. Some people jumped on board. Some people did not. Here's another chance. Here's your opportunity. I will probably succumb to the temptation to say, I told you so at some point on down the road if people do not listen and then they complain of being left behind. Well, you have to get on the train if you want to go to the next station. Think of all the things in your other areas of Endeavor, all of the other preparations, you know, this business of paying off the mortgage, so on and so forth, that would be accelerated or eased or made easier by available funds in excess of what's available now. And listen to old BK, you know, banging on the gong here saying, hey look guys, We've seen this once before and we had a lot of warning. You know, OBK was, you know, running around yelling about this and we dragged our feet and we managed to cleverly avoid those gains. Shall we do it again? Well, here's your second chance. Here's your opportunity to do it again or not. If anybody is just totally starting out from scratch the ultra short form of how to In my opinion what I recommend get the Exodus wallet on your PC and get the Abra app ABRA app on a smartphone and you can purchase stuff to the smartphone and you can squirt Bitcoin or Litecoin off to your Personally controlled wallet through Abra so you can use Abra as a portal to the banking world. It's got some rather strict limits, but if you're not George Soros, those limits are really not going to bother you very much. $1,000 in a week is a lot of money for a normal person and basically that's what they hold you down to. If you feel cramped by that then congratulations. I'm very very pleased at your affluence. But most people, $1,000 is not a trivial sum and that is your weekly limit on an Abrac device. That's easy. So at any rate, you're going to be hearing more about this as the market develops. I will try not to hit it every week and so on because some people find it boring. But we are, in my opinion, about to enter a new cycle of the cryptos. This is the way that the old system is phasing over into a new system that's hopefully a little bit less corrupt. The dollar is doomed and the cryptos are going to be the error. I think that people in the government know this and are trying to ease the transition and the sooner we get on board the better off we'll be. Go ahead. I'm not real good at these finances, but if you say you're saying that in this year if I would have been at 50% I would... is that what you're saying? If you had bought Bitcoin back when I started haranguing you it was at $4,400 in recent times it has been at or very close to $6,600 that's a 50% gain. Yeah, that's that's what I'm saying So, you know if you had bought it back in October when I was you know started beating the drum Put a thousand dollars in there. You'd have $1,500 worth right now Oh No, I'm waiting for you to die. Okay, very good. God bless the Republic. Death to the New World Order. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. We're on the market boat day and night. We'll be back Monday. Meanwhile, over the weekend, stay frosty. We're playing down to rest tomorrow. And so all of everybody is on alert for the time being as of this evening, of course. I want to say thank you to our Garrison Patrol that is here in the area. You guys will be Kind of watch it for the bad guys. We hope we're gonna catch them this time around we planned on dealing off of anyway We'll be back. Thank you sir. You're welcome. God bless everybody out here. Stay frosty. Get a little claim. You know every god bless. Bye. Bye
