Summary
Mark Koernke dedicated this episode to the memory of Donald Betcher, a longtime patriot and co-host who passed away on October 17, 2018. Koernke discussed Betcher's life, character, and contributions to the Liberty Tree Radio network and the broader patriot movement, including his involvement in what Koernke cryptically referred to as the "Dagger War." The episode also addressed the compounded tragedy that Betcher's wife Debbie lost her son on the same day Don was dying, and Koernke emphasized the community's efforts to support the family during this difficult time. Callers shared personal memories of Betcher and expressed their grief and respect for his legacy.

He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said, We fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free, of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate. And your Christian values can't be taught. According to the... You read about the current news in a regulated press. and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. It's number you've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country Put men of God in jail, harass your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children won't leave. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God-given right, and pray to God, get the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he'd vanished in the mist from whence he came. His words were true, not free. But we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each god-given right, we only watch and tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep, and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave, dill the land of the free? Ladies and gentlemen, this is the Intelligence Report for Kunky to refer all behind the lines to us for mg.com indianafreedomtalkradio.com in memoriam nfm micro stations cb base stations hallmark in golden spike technologies and west of the mississippi along with alaska good to our friends in the 49 which includes the state of jefferson The Civ, which is the border in which the regime that is in power is no different from the other stamp regimes that really aren't so much in power, but usurping power by the fail-us across the whole of our nation. Greetings and good afternoon to our friends in the Alaskan frontier, Hawaiian Islands, the territories, and the clock. For many of you listening, whether you're getting up early, you're staying up late, and those who are turning around just able to hit the switch We appreciate you being here. We thank you for passing on the information about how to find us. 17th October, 10th year of open Fabian socialist and Soviet socialist occupation. Arco with a K 2018 old earth calendar. 2018 year of conflict, year of deception. And this year and the day of the passing of our friend and brother-in-arms Donald Betcher. Ready to have both to be here with my friend the time of his test where he can now probably sit across the table from Spike Kim and Sarah and they're having a conversation now. They probably haven't had a chance to have before like no other. Donald Betcher has passed away but stretching the imagination is gonna be forgotten. We want to give credit where, you know, great credit is due to the team here that tag team 24 Hour Care leaves his wife Debbie behind. Debbie is now having to deal with Don's funeral but We still have to deal with Debbie's son's funeral. All of these issues are being dealt with. It's just it's not leaving. There's no easing up of the burden because, well, there's a whole bunch of things that have to be taken care of here now. But again, Joe, Joe Budd, who was the man who was here tending, in fact, it was he was tending, Don, as he, of course, faced that last moment and everybody came together as quick as they could. Debbie was here and she was here with her husband and he's passing throughout the night and for the last more than a few days we've all been in a special care situation with Don and we almost lost him. I think we lost him last night. I had him in my arms and I think he left us. But it wasn't his time and I kind of stood him up a bit. I think and Joe was right there and the two of us talking to him But we got him back for a little bit longer and the good thing is is that more friends were able to visit The we ours in the morning is where I expected really to see this happen, but it happened this afternoon and again, we don't get to choose that but all the people that down affected if you could say a bit of a prayer of remembrance and for So that you can rest there's many friends that we now get a chance to meet Your relatives, all the people we've known, we're gonna meet again. Like I said, I think they're probably having a great conversation, right? And rightly so. Because they were the same kind of souls. As I've said, I'm a Yankeey betcher. And to be there for a good portion of his life, is he was there for my family, and for myself, all of you. And the way you heard him out of the air, understand that Don Betcher in no way, shape or form is any different off the air. Where were you? Where have you met him personally? You know that he was a guy with a big heart. He was a gentle person. He could be finessary to preserve proper liberty. But he was a wonderful person. He is not a person that can be easily replaced any way, shape, or form, nor could we think to do so. The only thing we can hope for is for the next person, for these cast the baton on to, to step on the two wheel part, continue in an ongoing fight, and wait to see what long break whose job it is to step on the on when it's time to go. Did everything he could. He wanted to be up on the air. At least I could get the microphone over there in the earpiece. And he was able to say a few words. Some of you probably couldn't hear. But he was just thrilled by the idea that he could hear your voices. The other day when you guys called in and everybody said hi, guys, it worked out. Then someone mentioned the dead word if you could. Probably right there or hopefully queued up. But you know it's not a good thing to dig it out. But Steve Boss is out. And the other one I want you to this is the bottom of the hour. When we come back, I'll get arrested. I would point out that look at Donald Betcher. If you ever had member-size face, I did mention this a few times, I should have mentioned it more. But if you go to Google and you punch in images, although they always try to be derogatory however they can, there are some really phenomenal images of Donald Betcher speaking at different engagements. One of them was, again, to support me when I was behind the wire and helping my family and helping all of her friends to step up and work together. It's actually a complimentary. Also when he was speaking, guys, if you could, read the word. It is, of course, on to the next fight. A lot of the Joint Allegiance that are going to be in the big fight. Say a good word for him. Say a good word. For those who don't know, maybe tune in on the late, our good friend and telefate, Rhea Donald, that you're passed away today, a few hours ago. He is moving on to the next roll call, as some people say, and he is by his wife Debbie. Her family members have passed before him. Remember we had a great fight. A loyal brother, even with a brother that was a little persnickety. Don did everything for his brother that he could. I think Don saved his life. He truly saved his brother's life. You all pitched in, you all made that happen. And it's just the kind of man, the kind of who we're dealing with. Not in the real fancy. In fact, you know what? I felt Don, we were hoping to build him a dojo. for the trade that he had mastered. He is a master of many trades, a master, I would not say simply an interested hobbyist. He was a master in many areas that you will never know about perhaps. Some of it has to do with the Dagger War. Donald Betcher is a veteran and was a veteran of the Dagger War and knew things that we can't talk about yet. There's gonna be a place down the road where hopefully we can. and life was threatened, Donald Betcher stepped forward on the line. When friends needed help, Donald Betcher stepped forward on the line. And another thing that he didn't do is he never worked. I know, test that. My wife, my family, my friends, all the people who are there, anybody who knew Donald Betcher, the nicest guy, the guy who you now want to have sitting across the kitchen table from you enjoying a cup of coffee and walk until three or four in the morning. The kind of guy that could pick up on a subject, many different subjects, and you'd have a great time because you could learn a lot from him. He was a great, casual, intelligent teacher. Even of himself, it was a great... Some people are surprised, and I know we actually, we did say, you know, we tried to explain, have you been dealing with this for the last couple of days? Last night, unfortunately, when we had to move down, or not unfortunately, he demanded to move. He was motivated right up until the end guys, he just, the body failed and he just couldn't go any farther, okay? So last night, for just a moment, for a few more than a few moments, we just, he was gone. And for whatever reason, I picked him up and Joe supported him. We got him just for some reason, he just came back to us. And wasn't the time, wasn't quite time yet. It was the last mile to walk, I guess. Maybe that's the time it was a different place to be at that moment. And he had to be with us for a little bit longer. Go ahead, caller, please. Go away from me and pick up a conversation, you know, a year later and it's like you've been right there. Yeah. Just so natural that he was, you know, when you're around him, just the best way of natural. around and person to be around and again he was a fun guy to have around too. He wasn't stoic, although there were points where we have been. There's points where you'll find that you want to see us angry, you could see us angry. But angry in an intelligent way, not in a senseless anger. The only thing he was commenting with me about before we went to the point where we were doing everything for him is that he just wanted to do more that he did not want to leave the fight that he did not want to do to be in the situation he was in as much as anything because he knows the fights coming. We had that conversation more than a few times in the last several weeks guys because there's no doubt you can touch it taste it smell it and it's one of those things where it's like you just that's the only part of frustration he had is knowing again the potty fails you at some point you can I told you before, the spirit commands the mind, the mind commands the body, but there is a certain point in which the body simply, it just won't do anymore. And at that point, that's where again, I will say this, make no mistake about it, Don Betcher never lost nor laid nor in any way, shape or form denied his fate. In fact, every step of the way, again, he was a righteous man. He was a righteous man all of his life. There are mistakes made. No one ever told me any of you were perfect. And he would tell you the same thing. But there is one thing. The reason a person can get to the path, to the right path, is because, again, the center of their being is still and always focused and understands the path as it should be. It's kind of cool. regular guy that understood all of that and a whole lot more. I wish I could have gotten as... I just... so many things have happened in the last couple of years that have just cascaded one after another in this kind of a situation. We've been the fire brigade that has to be there. Because of that, we can't be where we want to be. And I've got everything, I collected everything, I wanted to build him a Don Stojoe. And I was hoping, you know, again, if I had the time, somehow we should have made the time. That's another regret. But there's only so many hours in the day and there's only so many days in the week. There's only so many days in the year. And we pressed on, we did what we could, some things were completed, others were not. But, and it does mean you didn't stop teaching people anything. You didn't, Dom didn't need a dojo to do that. There's young men around here that he affected significantly and will have affected them for all of their lives. Okay? So, again, we need to remember him. We need to think about, you know, again, constantly. What are we going to do? How are we going to deal with this? I'll tell you what I have to do because we have to move Don's body right. Give me a minute. We have to take a refer to him. We've got to move Don. Liberty Tree Radio is asking for your help. I'm from it this run to it the enemy that stands before us and will be laying below our feet and gentlemen, this is the the afternoon intelligence report. I'm Mark Hernke. One day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters on and behind the lines in occupied territories southwest and north. Ladies and gentlemen, you are listening to us on 43radio.4mg.com IndianaFreedomTalkRadio.com in memoriam. We'll remember spike. We're also on AM&FM micro stations, CB base stations, and Ultra! Hallmark and Golden Spike technologies, and west of the Mississippi, along with Alaska. Told you so. Ladies and gentlemen, today's date, it is Thursday. It is the 17th of October. year of open and obvious Thebians, Socialist and Soviet Socialist of America with a K2000 and... old earth calendar 2018 year of conflict, year of deception, but they're not fooling anyone. We're looking straight at the creatures behind the curtains who think that you're just going to throw the organic sandbags at us and they were going to be distracted. I know where I'm putting my bullets first when the time comes. sandbags. They'll be taken care of by late. And it has been a beautiful, beautiful afternoon as far as the weather goes here. It has been medium temperatures. It was, of course, down into the freezing, just a little freezing last night. It's probably going to get the same way today. We are going to see a clear sky. You'll be able to see to eternity this evening. And I would point out that if you do not know, if you're tuning in for this hour and you do not or were not able to tune in for the last hour, Our good friend, our fellow Patriot Captain Don Betcher slash Don Yankee D has passed away this afternoon. Patriot, a good man, a good husband, best friend that you could possibly have, a man that was truly, had a very gentle heart, but understood full well the need to be able to focus violence as needed to destroy any threat to his liberty or to yours. A little bit ago here, Mr. Betcher. Don left his home for the last time. And of course we assisted with the surrendering of the body to those people who of course are going to prepare him for a final funeral. So Don has finally left his new home. He didn't spend much time in it. We at least were able to get him in here. And of course his wife and Deb is still here with us. There's been no easing. Some people would say, well, you know, he was ill and he passed away. But We had a double tap here with this with Debbie, with Debbie Betcher, Donald Betcher's wife. And then the last day, while we were tending to down before he passed away and while he was so ill, we got a call that in the morning, the first thing, and it was total, it's never expected, but this was the worst kind of news for a mother, in that we were informed that her son was found at home having passed away. So here you are, your husband is on literally what is a deathbed and you're informed that your son has just gone before him. It's not good. She's, I won't say holding up, nobody could be doing well under these conditions. But she has done what's needed to be done and she has been supported by many, many friends here. And I want to say thank you to all of the people who have stepped up and assisted with the situation. It still is in other words, going to continue for days here because we're still pulled in a couple different directions simultaneously. It happens. It's not something you want to be. You want to have happen to you, but if it does take place, the only way it can properly be dealt with is if everybody steps up and does something. You don't have to do everything but do something. Many hands make for life work, and that's what's happening right now. So I want to say thank you to all of our friends. All the people appear in the upper part of the state are friends that have come up from other parts of the state of Michigan and from out of state and it helped to vet your family over the last several weeks because of the one thing after another and we've made a what was a high watermark and you know did well and then there was other news we were in Florida that you know changed the situation and Don put up a fight every step of the way I got to tell you when you guys were talking to him That was the high point of his day, guys, to have people telling him and wishing him well and thinking about it. Kind of alone, when you're in the situation, you said, you can't escape your body. Eventually you'll escape this mortal coil. That's not a problem. That's something, again, Don Betcher, of course, has said he was faithful, he stood again with strong belief in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. and express that whenever it was necessary with no hesitation and no softening of the voice or apologizing because there should be no apologizing. Who the hell do we have to apologize about? So for everybody out there again, a good patriot, a fellow warrior, at some time I'm going to get to be able to say a lot more. It's written down in a place where it'll be somebody will have it, but most people do not know what the dagger worn tail and what it cost us and what it is costing us. Donald Betcher was there for many a fight that you won't hear about until after things are said and done and maybe I won't be able to myself but somebody else is going to read the words and some that are part of the living history will tell you of the war that we have been in and the battles that we have fought on American soil already. That's coming in full full color soon enough as it is because we're going to have to deal with this okay we are just going to have to deal with it. The threat is too great and the price is too high, we're not going to surrender our liberty. Don kept commenting on that for the last several weeks while he could still speak and his concern. And even at the last part of that point where he could communicate, the level of disgust at what it is that we know is happening just could not be expressed. And, you know, it was just, it shook him to the core that we'd have to see this the way things are going. knowing that we're going to have to be in this fight and he wanted to be here. He really, really, really wants to be here. Personally, as I know, and I think you all should too if you really are of the faith, he is here. He's going to be here when the time comes. There's a whole lot of other battles that are going to go on as we join in this fight. And the spirits of those that have gone before us in this cycle, this particular phase, well, they're there with us later on. And we're all going to be together eventually. So take solace in that and have comfort and confidence in that. Your enemy quakes at the possibility or the thought of that. In fact, they have no foundation whatsoever. And again, they shudder to the core. I am joyful in that. I'm very proud to have known Donald Betcher. I'm very proud that the men that, of course, both of us knew, well, he's going to meet. I can think of a few other good men he's known for a long time. and him probably are saying something right now. I think also, human spike, oh, there's a combination. Jack Totto, Spike Simmons, Donald Betcher sitting down together, and George Matusik will be there too. No problem, son. Battle dog. All the guys at Mobile, they're all sitting down there talking right now. They're enjoying each other's company for the first time in a long time. Be comforted in that. Again, there's gonna be a lot of other work to do. We'll inform everybody on the air about funeral arrangements that's being worked on. It's tough, like we said right now. Every other call that we had, all of the calls are support, in between them. The problem was a confusion, which should never happen to anybody, when somebody was trying to talk about the funeral. And then you have to sort out if it's going to be your husband's funeral or your son's funeral. And more than a few times, it's just stopped everybody for a minute. And of course, certainly Debbie. up for a bit, but we are going to have a memorial for Don, a celebration of his life, a memory of his life. And there's a few other things that I plan on doing. Number one, as I haven't said anything, I have to meet with some of my friends, but we're going to organize the Donald Betcher Company as part of my unit. And so the Raider Company, the Raider, our, should say, our Raider Battalion, as it's set up, we're going to reconfigure the first infantry so that it is the Don Betcher Company. And there'll be a ceremony for that. We're going to change the unit flag. There's a couple other things need to be done. Nancy's going to have to do some sewing for me and we'll get that out of the way. But we're not, we're going to make sure that one way or another, Don Betcher goes into battle when this thing kicks off. As we choose to fight, when we choose to fight. When the time comes, Donald Betcher's name will be there one way or another. So again, there's things that are in the works. We do not have a support point of, there's so much going on. I had to step away because we had to move down and two people can't do it, especially with the stairs and landings and things to take care of. So we helped to make sure that there weren't any, anybody hurt or any stumbling. And with all the manpower that we have here, shouldn't be heavy for any one person. It shouldn't be two people just doing it and everybody else stand aside even though, even if they're grieving, it doesn't make any difference. Give you a chance to lend a helping hand to a friend in the last travels, but they'll make care amongst us. Everybody pitching in on that even, guys. It's a good thing. Go ahead, Paula. Go ahead. Be for long, my dad. That's exactly the point. Be for my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Don Betcher was one of the finest men he could possibly know. And he was a joy to be with. He was a hellion when he needed to be. And he was a saint where he needed to be. Sainted swear to God and I know it because God knows it too that he was a saint He was a gentle giant assert with a lot of people. It's only a handful of people that I would truly say We're great warriors and having been with a great warrior again Donald betcher is one of those men You knew that if you were standing next to him next to him and he next to you There wasn't any doubt about where he was gonna be if you turned and you had to deal with something and You knew he was going to be there either beside you or watching your back, but one way or another, you were going to be standing there in that fight to the end. And because of that, it wasn't the end. Don't you remember that, people? There's a... I've mentioned many times, you know, that the... There's a frustration, and I know what it is, because everybody can sense the conflict that we're in right now, how close we are. It can be tipped over at any time. And it's like I've told you, How frustrating would it be to be prepared for, you know, to go to war, to fight for our independence, to be there on the edge and then to turn ill and maybe even pass away. Might even have few things to say to the creator, but because there's a method to all of the actions and there's a purpose to all that takes place. So somebody needed a really nice guy. Somebody needed another sergeant or another captain somewhere. And That's where this guy is right now. Where he needs to be. I'd rather have him here. I was... I've said before that I'd rather have him here. Can't have him away. Oh well. Not my choosing. But I will remember and I will have... I will keep good faith to the promises that I have made to my friend. And that my friend has always made me and all of us who have had to fight. He never broke his vows. He never, never wavered. And there's always a time of question, there's always a time where you'll even verbalize it. But you're not leaving, you're not turning. You're asking, again, because it's that moment where everybody, did I make the right decision? What do you think, Mark? What do you think, Ed? What do you think, Bob? And the only reason I would ask that, the only reason you do that is because it's astounding, because all of us, realize you're facing the wall. It's a ledge that you might fall beyond and not be able to come back from. Life's on the edge there. You know, it's one of those things where you made the decision to stay the course. Edward knows there's all kinds of things that, you know, Don Betcher was a great guy to have just as an iaza voice in your ear. and a friend near to you in the time game. All of you guys. Any of you listening that know him or have known him, some of you, of course. I'm Jeff Yuzak, your mayor. I know who that is. We're gonna go to break. Thank you, Ed. We'll be back right here in a minute. Bottom of the hour. ACING GRACE. One of the last hymns that Donald Betcher heard before he passed away. In fact, it was sung by a gentleman who was standing here with a tremendous voice in Don's home while Don was resting here. So thank you, I'd really appreciate that. And again, especially I love Steve Boss, the music is phenomenal. And there's a whole bunch of other Patriot authors out there, guys, share them however you can. You want to do something tonight? Do me a favor. You can take Don Betcher's name, Don, B-T-T-C-H-E-R, you know, a memorial of him. and pull Steve Voss's song over there and share it over on all of the social media, Facebook, Twitter, and memoriam of Donald Yankee D. Betcher. Of course, mostly if you're been around listening to this network for a long, long time, might recall first hearing Don's voice as a, you know, he used to call in. Don was being worked on by Jack Otto. Don would be the first to tell you that he was a refusenick. He was a teach him and he'd have things to say to Jack and he was opinionated which is fine by us and that's why Jack didn't let up and Don eventually had an epiphany and had an experience more than one or two that helped put him into the Patriot effort in spades and he of course had been a long friend of Jack Otto's long friend and other individuals out there that A part of the Patriot effort had touched his life at one time or another and he called in on occasion to the intel report with Republic Radio and said hi. He was like, hey, how about, what would you like to do, you know, with Liberty Tree Radio? How about you do a program? Why don't you do a Patriot program? And so we had Don come up on Saturdays. Edward had to, of course, make accommodations for that. And Don, of course, started doing his own program. Of course the intel report expanded. We needed more co-hosts. I needed because not everybody can work non-stop every day. And Don stepped into that and stepped forward. When the enemy perpetrated what they did and started to stir the pot with the family and myself, Don and the crew stepped up and pitched in and helped in so many different ways. And LTR continued because again, Don and Edward working together and they carried on the programming. They carried on the network. And of course, it was a fight. And there were points at which everybody, all parties concerned, were like, you know, well, this is a tough road to hoe. But they stuck with it. All of them did. And again, Don Betcher is a fellow patriot and as a friend, well we got to the other end, that's where he's been right there. He never decided, oh now I can just leave, take off, brush my hand, brush my cloak off, or wipe off my hands. Nope, stayed the course, stayed in the fight, continued to do what needed to be done. Again, you count on Don, he did a really great job, and again now, his turn here, he actually is resting now. Like all the rest of the patriot, this is probably about the only time in which we're gonna get any rest. If you'd like to call in, go ahead and do so. If you'd like to speak up. I miss his voice and you know it hasn't been here as often as we'd like it to be. And we had to work with, you know, before we realized what fully was going on, we found out eventually it was happening. Don was having to rest more often and we had to, you know, we wanted him to recuperate. We wanted him to be able to, you know, step up to the microphone and not make it, you know, make it hurt, hurt him, you know, or damage him in any way. And so that's one of the reasons you weren't carrying him as often. It's not because we're trying to deny Don being on the air. It's that Don was in a situation where he didn't feel that he could contribute effectively and wasn't able to actually perform as he'd like to if he wasn't on the light performing up on the air. So he did his part and we've done ours and we've done our duty. We're going to continue to do that. We've got to take care of the family here. We're going to make sure that the Homestead all the rest of the things that need to be done are done while I'm speaking the boys and Joe or my middle son this year right now and us or others and what we're doing is finishing the outsides of the house with it. We're not done. We still have a lot of other work that needs to be finished and make the effort and Got all the eyes and cross all the T's. Gotta make it safe. Make sure it's secure for the winter. And so I don't have to worry. We don't have to worry about, you know, coming back and finding Debbie in trouble in any way. We don't know what the future's gonna hold, but we'll see. Go ahead, call her. Jump in there, please. Hi Mark. This is Mark Schumacher. You know, Don was blessed to have you and Ed as friends. I mean, I've listened to you guys for years and, you know, I know you're devastated Mark I know Ed is I know your whole family is and you know Don was blessed to have you as friends Mark you know he I could feel the love whenever you guys talk to each other and it was a pleasure tuning into your show with Don with Don there and you're talking with each other it was a you know family and I just want to say to everybody out there that if Don was blessed to have you as his friend. By the way thank you for calling because your name came up and he was concerned about where you what was going on with you. Well, I've been away from the show for a while Mark. I've been running my butt off. I've been working with Henry. I appreciate him. I'm just going to tell you something. He actually thought about you because he hadn't heard from you in a while on the air. Seriously, that's the kind of guy that he was. Yeah, and you know, that really hurts me that I wasn't able to talk. You know, I just found out today that he was even ill. I mean, Henry called me and said, you know, he told me all about Don and I I couldn't believe it. I called in about an hour ago and he just passed away. I was just going to say hi to you and you just left. I couldn't believe it. I just took the timing. The minute I call in, he dies. I feel like I just can't believe it. For some reason again, I think, like I said, the way it's an act of God thing, I was worried about you because we didn't... It's good, whatever you were doing, because we can't be in all places at once. But I was concerned that something else might have happened to you because I know what you've been doing, how you've been working. And this is where again, we have a lot of listeners who, the family works both ways. We appreciate everybody that calls him. And just to give you an idea, he was like, you know, we haven't heard from Mark in a while. Is there anything wrong with him? Seriously. And it was like, talk about stuff, feeling good. Okay, so just a heads up. Remember, he was always thinking about his friends, and he considered all of you guys that were listening good friends. That's how the Patriot Movement is in general though, if we're doing it right, guys. The strength we have, as opposed to the drivel on the other side, that'd never be a part of. Think about it. You know, we have a big family. One of the things I'd point out is you could have a conversation. I feel the same way. It's like, you could walk away, talk to down about something, come back, and you know, we would be discussing something, we'd pick it up. the conversation even though we might have touched other things two months or a week later or whatever like we were just standing there discussing it the whole time and it was just one of those things where everybody is on the same page although everybody had a special interest I'm gonna tell you guys one thing about Donald Batcher make no mistake he had a mind that was there like an alligator trap there are many things that he was interested in that he was was immersed himself in He was a very proficient individual in many of the physical sciences. He was a master in defense. In fact, there's a lot of people that are going to miss him here. They were already missing him because he was physically not able to participate the way that he had, but he was a trainer. This is a man who had many different arts and talents at his disposal. And he used them in his personal life when dealing with other people in so many significant ways. that he was an important part of many people's lives that you probably won't ever meet from different spheres and each one of them would say the same thing that they greatly appreciated the man. They appreciated the man. Don't you have to sign off or anything but thank you because let me be quite honest, I was worried too about you. You appreciate that. Thank you. Well thanks for worrying Mark. I just want to say it again, you know, and Ed have done so much for the community and that Don was a big part of that and you know God bless you all you know I just held a fight in front of us and you had one hell of a partner next to you for those 30 years 30 or 40 years you know I mean just it's incredible how long your friendship lasted and how much you guys did thank you so much. Well thank you appreciate it we'll keep doing we're gonna keep doing we're doing because we have to and it's pretty obvious this fights This fight's gonna go into a different realm here pretty soon. This is why everybody needs to be prepared to deal with the situation. Have your head, have your spirit squared away, have your mind squared away, physically prepare yourselves. That's all I can, I can't stress that enough. That's why he was frustrated a little bit because there are some of our conversations a few weeks ago because there's, there's so, he didn't want to leave, he doesn't want to leave us. He didn't want to leave us because he was worried about everybody else. I mean granted you don't want to die, nobody wants to die, there's always that factor, we know that. But that's not what is, that wasn't his first concern. It's how am I leaving everybody else? What have I not done for the people that I love or people that are in my family and the people that he cared for? And so that's why there was this scurrying around, this was not expected. I mean we're getting up there in years, everybody is, and nobody's going to get out of here without this happening in some form. Maybe fast, maybe slow, maybe expected, maybe not even time to think about it. What we get is what we get. I don't want to mount that part. Again, I understand what he is concerned with. I don't want to leave my friends in the lurch. I believe that we really do need an American War for Independence. I don't think we should wait any longer. I believe that we need to deal with this problem. It's not going to be fixed with the creatures that broke it. It's going to have to be fixed by the people who know how to fix it, and that's us. I truly believe that. See, what he was expressing to me in one of our conversations while he was still able to speak. He did not swear arbitrarily, but his emphasis when he did that was just because there's this pent up energy where you just know there's so many ways you could express yourself about an injustice or an evil or wickedness and that's where he could put the emphasis into a word that would help you to understand just exactly to his core how he felt about that. And we all do, okay guys? The baton has been passed on. is what it comes down to. And a good patriot has done everything that he can. What have you done with what he's provided? And again, I have to, I have to, I have a whole line of friends and some of them I've mentioned, and forgive me, I didn't mention, you know, I think Don's saying hi to Bob Bourne right now. I think he and Bob, they knew each other. They're getting along fine for a moment. They all haven't seen you in a while, Bob. Bob is like Don. Bob was in the Dagger War. Bob Borne is a hero here in Michigan that most people don't even know about. They don't have a clue of how it is that he fought against the Tyrants and risked his life and came out the other side alive in the Dagger War during these fights we've had here in the last 25 years that were the physical war. Not the serial war, the physical war. Bob Borne would be there every time. The enemy threatened my family, Bob Borne, Donald Betcher, and there's a whole bunch of other warriors. We all stepped up to the line, we put our face right in there, and you know, we didn't blink. They did. In fact, they did more than blink in some cases. They didn't exactly expect what they got for their payment. For everybody out there again, let's be again, let's remember Don Betcher tonight, if you would, say a prayer. So if you want a lift of glass, doesn't have to be liquor. If you're, I don't drink, monkey, that's not the point. It is a offering, a toast of friendship and remembrance. Because for this moment in time, this is the sharp point of a friend's passing. Every once in a while, like I try to do here on the air, I'll mention a friend's name because I remember them so well and I appreciate all that they did with their lives. Each one of you is the same way. Some of you are even unsung heroes. In fact, I'd say pretty much all of you are, because I think a lot of people are basically eat, drink, and be merry and stupefied by the idiocy of the system. and the nonsense that's offered when again they should be living in, you know, again, full lives and adult lives. And most of them don't even know what the word adult means. Never will. Doesn't mean you don't have fun, but it means that you gotta take responsibility, you gotta step up to the plate once in a while, guys. Sometimes every day. Another song, and I know it's the 8's, I always joke about this, but Don liked the song too because it kind of expressed everything we've ever done. So, and again, Ed, I played it for him because I have it on disc here, but worst day since yesterday and For all the things that go right. There's a dozen things that go wrong and you know the old story, you know 500 attaboys are pretty well undone by one oh shit Okay, that's the way it is. But you know what you do. You take a look at the problem You realize how you need to fix it or get around it break out the tools Roll up your sleeves, get to work son, get to work. And Don and I were kind of laughing about that with some of the stuff that we've gone over that we've done or we've dealt with and how it just, everything was just right and then it wasn't. And remembrances real quick here on all the things that well, it could have been nice if it's done better, but you know what, we got served, but we got served. It happened the way it happened. How do you deal with it? What do you do to correct the course or make it continue to run even when somebody thought they broke it for you? For everybody out there again, just think about all the things and all the times. If you've known Don Betcher, a lot of you had time to affect the bunch of you that were here in the last two days. Several of you have known Don probably as long as I have, and one or two longer. And all the things that we've done, he was into motorcycles, he was with the clubs, that's it. experience of life right there with all things that can happen. We were kind of chuckling about all the, well, it's amazing you survived that one, you know. And later on, of course, especially when you get a little more grown up, realize you better be doing something. You make something of your life there. Even as he was doing what he was doing with the motorcycle club. He was learning a lot. He developed himself in so many ways in terms of expertise and education that he really can't cover it all. In fact, we're still benefiting from some of what he did design-wise in one sphere of the militia that really can't even be talked about yet, probably until after we're done with this war. Some of the things that Donald Betcher did are going to save a lot of lives and in fact have already saved lives. When things kick off, some of the stuff that he did, that he personally invented or created, that we couldn't talk about here, are gonna change the battlefield. So just a little heads up on that. That's something to set in of itself. So many elements of how our lives are affected by each of our friends is just incredible. Anyway, go ahead, call or jump in there, please. Yeah, Jefferson POTUS here. I'm very upset about passing. Everybody says I am. The moment I heard Steve Boss come on, I knew down at the pass during the beginning of the first hour anyway. I got a chance to talk to Don personally. I had met him. I really do. The way he experienced his casual persona, the way that you, you know, that's how he was with everybody though. He was really annoying. In fact, He was very patient, he wasn't going to make any assumptions to anybody. No, you start to piss him off or do something stupid. You'd find out about Mr. Bester's, you know, preponderance for the ability to express himself. But you know what, I'll tell you what, you know, again, that's why, like I said, it's like sitting down at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee across from your friends and talking to the point where you don't realize it's, you know, three o'clock in the morning until someone finally looks over and realizes where the hell all this time go. you wouldn't have any problems and we've done that time and again we've done that over and over and over again and it's part of the taking pleasure in the company of friends where you can you can inter inter work with them like that you know one of the things you can do and for everybody out there guys if you go over now you wouldn't think you wouldn't think If you go over to Google, okay, and Google Don Betcher or my name, Mark Hornky, and what's gonna happen is my picture doesn't show up. You go to images, my picture shows up some. There's a bunch of other goofy garbage that's totally irrelevant. But you might pay attention. You'll see another guy there with a beard, and you're wearing a dew rag. A very nice one. And that's Don Betcher. Pictures where we were speaking down in Texas. And they're actually pretty good. And they're pretty good photographs. Now if you punch in Don Betcher or Donald Betcher, B-O-E-T-T-C-H-E-R, a bunch of other images show up. And if you guys could take his picture and just commemorate him, okay? The passing of Donald Betcher today on the 17th. Again, as a great patriot, as a great, you know, depending on how you knew him or what you knew about him, you choose the words. But put that out out there in the social media. Everybody, we need to just, you know, sound the sound from the tower. Use the tools the way they're intended. Go ahead, caller, please. Yeah, this is B.C. Some of those in the listening audience that might like to have a little closer insight into Don, I prayed with him about a week ago and had a nice casual conversation with him and he was very upbeat and very encouraging and you know, I've heard him, but you know, Don ended up encouraging me as well, the kind of guy Don was. And we're all very, very grateful to the Lord for an opportunity to have known and had opportunity to speak with Don and to be comrade in arms. Fellowship something that would be appropriate with this that term is appropriate with him, isn't it? Yes, he he truly truly possessed the spirit of the Lord I know for certain that Don betcher was saved those who are believers and followers of Jesus Christ He will see Don again Amen. Amen. Well, and again your program is coming up before we farther BC is coming up next guys Liberty Bible hour is the next hour after this one And if you would, please take the time, sit back and rest and listen, pay attention, and share. The most important thing here, share. The one thing about Don is, you know, we almost lost him last night. We really did. I think we did. I think he switched out. I not think, I know, I know what happened. I was the one holding him. There was a moment where he said, not now. I said, Don, not now. And... He shut down completely and Joe was right there and he of course tried to help to lift him up. He wanted to stand and move on his own. I know guys. You couldn't stop him. Don Betcher was kind of a guy. If he focused or decided he was determined on something, and again he fought every step of the way during this illness. He didn't give up. He didn't give up and say, oh well, hell with it, just flop over. No. The biggest problem is that he was a can-do person in that respect. and he also didn't want to burden anybody else. Now I know it's some of that because he couldn't really know, I don't know that he knew all that was going on within his perception because of his illness, but you know, he expressed himself in much the same way that he always had and that he would do for himself and he didn't want to burden anyone else. And it was time for us to take the burden and pick it up a little bit and help him, which is what we all did. I'm not the only one. Joe Budd gets a lot of credit here. That man did a phenomenal job and has been doing a phenomenal job here helping his friend and helping the family in that respect. And guys, 24 hours, we all, we were nonstop for days here, days and nights, days and nights again, really with no rest. I mean, we take him, but we, you know, when you don't know if something serious is happening, so you're right on the edge of getting back up and being right there. So every time something was starting to rustle or alarm, everybody immediately is concerned that well, you know, we better be there to make sure nothing goes nothing snags He's done his part. He's with our friends. I have full confidence in that he's in the hands of the Lord He's into the the other the truth authority has power in the first place who's gonna make that decision matter what we think we want that simple where we we get to travel this path, but there's a point at which we leaves the pass. We're going to go on. We have a final pass on over there and then we're both, we find out, we get through the brush. Look at all the other people I know here. Not a bad situation. We're going to jump in there. We got a few more minutes, please. Hey Mark, it's the honor to meet Don a weekend with him and you know it's always used to be when we went and he just wouldn't stop. We couldn't keep him from getting up, could we? He just got tired of the point where he couldn't help it. He just had to be there to help the people that were helping him. Yep, I remember that. I mean, he wouldn't let anyone else do it. He wanted to do it. He wanted to do that shit. He wanted to do all this stuff. And we just helped. We can do it. We want him to be the Chief Cookin' Model Washer with the magic pointy finger. He said he had a hard time doing that because he'd prefer to have the tool in his hands rather than pointing and telling someone else what to do, guys. Just one more thing is what he would do. Just one more thaw, you know. I enjoyed being there, like I said. I've done it. was a real, taught me a lot with my vision and I'm beyond my... like you said, meeting him, he does like to talk and he does like to help and we can't... I'm just out of words, I guess, but I did love him like a brother, like another brother, he was a brother to me. Taught my back and he would have done the same. Your loved one is hard. Two is worse, that's the sad part guys, and he's... Some of the cheat boards passed here just in the last day and this is why we were working to help Don. So I don't even know. Right now when I left, when I left, separated from the house here to come back and do the program, we had other problems that were arising out of the whole issue of taking care of the, all the things that to a degree were just put off a little bit because they had to be. All of the issues about dealing with her son are still right here with us and that's the second wave. There's no let up. So we're doing everything we can to help there. Do you have the double funeral for her? I don't know. I was actually thinking about that if it was possible but there were arrangements that were being made for the son separate even as while Don was in the last 24-40 hours, Don was still with us. but that's changed, the math formula has changed. I don't think everybody believed that he would be gone this day, but one of the nurses who wasn't being, she was the nicest woman, and she was expressing, well beware, because this could happen sooner. And she's a phenomenal lady, I helped her dress Don, she was having a horrible time, she was a small woman, and Don's a pretty big guy, so a big tall guy. I helped address him because we of course had him down to, you know, for maintenance purposes. We had him, you know, where we needed to have him, you know, like in my basically birthday suit. And we had to get him dressed. So I helped her to dress him after he passed. And she was just, you know, the nicest person. A lot of people that do this, these kind of jobs, they really aren't properly, people aren't grateful for them. And guys don't hesitate to pitch in. The obesity's coming up next.
