I looked at that picture, Nancy showed me one of the pictures this morning called insurance scan. That's like, you know, we've always joked about this, you know, you don't want to know what the doom of a ship is. Doom of a ship on the high seas in your company, Flag or Liberia. That might as well have the word shoot me in the ass, I'm gonna die. Okay, it'd be like oh, what are you? Oh, I'm on the SS Mashmugabunga. Where's it flagged to? It's flagged to Liberia. Oh you war bugger. Guys, during the Gulf War, super tankers by sending them to the Persian Gulf. Now otherwise they had to spend money because London was still, you know, flag the tankers for the Sunday sale of the Persian Gulf. And if you look at those pictures they hardly ever show you anymore, those are those rusting hulks. sunk and identified all up and down the street. Yeah, like about 120-130 of them. A lot better to collect insurance, you know, park them and then cut them up. Now, little case in point here, down here in Panama City, didn't they know that they had in line with the storm? Everybody's showing you those pictures of the airport there. Why would those airliners be sitting on the ground in ground zero? They're all paid for this, guys. Here's the thing. I'd be guaranteed. Well, you take all your junk and put it at the airport. Yeah, exactly. It's called the Hebrew Lightning. Have you ever done this before? I'm telling you, you have a store and it's not doing real well. And all of a sudden, during the night, your moving trucks come in and they get all the good stuff out, you know, the really expensive stuff. And you go to the resale store and you put all this other stuff in and then all of a sudden, there's this gasoline that appears and your place boils down. Oh, Hebrew Lightning. Oh, it was the best of my stuff. Did you see the silks that bind? Did you look at all I'm telling you? Oh, look at all it was billions of dollars. By the way, isn't this in government subsidy I can get to? Gee, that's the thing about this. Why would you leave? Guys, you know what the price of even just a low engine. I'm talking like, you know, those didn't look like they're really super tired, but I noticed something. They all have the same tail fins on them, like a certain airlines that might probably be like in And all of a sudden they didn't know how to fly their planes and their pilots didn't know how to start them up. And they didn't have a clue that the storm was coming, but boy, their planes are under water now. They're going to have to ride them off with show ends. And you know, they were the best of the planes they had. They weren't the ones that were like kind of adding on the last legs. The finest of planes. Oh, I am telling you, they were the best of, and not only that, but the insurance company will pay, which means you and I pay guys. And then on top of that, you wanna bet that there isn't some kind of government-fed subsidy. Oh, your planes were lost at Hurricane Schmidlap, eh? Oh, don't worry, Cousin Izzy will get the government paper going. You're gonna get some new planes. By the way, we're gonna milk out the other ones, wash them up a little bit. We're gonna ship them over to Africa and fly them until they drop guns, until they start killing Africans by falling out of the sky. But that's okay, because you don't hear about those plane crashes, do you? Not very often. This is like Katrina where the all kinds of resources remember those pictures of all of the city buses sitting like No, do you think they didn't know the hurricane was coming guys? But what would you call that that is either intentional malfeasance or you got a really stupid bunch of people on your hands who should have been dragged out put against a wall shot and executed for the sake of saving the rest of the population from their stupidity. Tell me how this works. Because you know here's nothing Joe if you've been through Panama City you've probably driven through that area one time or another right? Panama City? Yeah. Yes, sir. That's why does a pancake isn't it? Why does a pancake? There's no mountain of skills or rolling terrain, right? There's like why does a pancake because that's what that part of Florida is like. Guys if you don't drive a lot I've always thought again that area well there's a reason it's because of what you just saw. That area used to be Palmetto's. The one thing I remember about that story that area. Flat as a pancake and Palmetto's. The only thing that was more exciting than that if you went farther north, if you shot in towards Georgia, is Valdosta, Georgia, where it was even flatter only because they grew onions. And so the ground cover was shorter, okay? All you saw was onion fields, onion fields, onion fields, onion fields, onion fields, onion fields. Oh, wait a minute, we're in Florida, how can you tell? Palmetto tree, not Palmetto tree, Palmetto brush. Was the change in terrain, does anybody remember that when they were growing up? I do. Okay, so here we're talking this place where they know it's our cousin one neat thing about planes Let me give you a little hint pain takes off no longer in the water number one and you can leave before this happens And number two is it can go straight to somewhere else where there is no water in a minute Yeah, just flying straight north take your pick. Hey, I mean, come on. What does it take to lift? You know again the pilots do it every day. How could those planes? on the ground like that. In fact, you even knew that the hurricane was coming days in advance to the point where, now you gotta understand that even if those things had, and they weren't, those don't look like anger queens. This is a big insurance scam write-off. That's the thing that makes it really disgusting. Expecting you and me and everybody else. And I do guarantee that not only that, all of these scatists when they have companies don't know how to get on that big tip that drops from the sis bunches of them, okay? I guarantee they got the tax write-off. Forgive me the taxpayer on one end and the insurance right off from the other. How the hell would you leave those kind of assets on the ground? Now you can't move the work and clean them out, wash them off. Get out the power sprayer and there you go. Aircraft are a different story. They have to be certified to fly. Now here's the thing, because here's a simple marketing. Could we work? You know what? They'll do a quick engine swap out if that's what's needed. And they'll give them the certificate flight for maintenance. Now you start talking about this. If you're in aviation, you know what I'm talking about. So when you see these pictures, look how disastrous it is! Look at Panama Airport! It's like, wow! And the little planes are the same way. Now the only thing about, there are a lot of planes that go laying on a runway, little ones, that guys, you're up for sale, so to speak. The person probably hasn't flown them in six. I know this from personal experience for quite a few years. I was just looking at three planes this week that the guy hadn't opened the hangar for ten years. They'd just been sitting there. Still, I mean, to the point where the dust of age paint job. Okay. The owner, it sounds weird, but oh my god, my plane's over at Panama. I was thinking about, for other people, it's like, why would you leave an aircraft on the tarmac when you know full well, all you got to do is stumble around down the flight line, pick an airport with higher ground? Why not? Yeah, probably be a good thing too. Your plane will get there faster than that car would that you might have used. The car use that every day. The plane, not so much. But these are large ticket items. And when you start talking jets, Well, you start going into millions immediately. In fact, little Gulf Streams, very few that are down below the 35 to 800,000 are kind of tired. Immediately jumps, you know, one million dollar, million dollar aircraft makes me go, oh, we just... They don't want to slow it down where they got something else they want to take care of, and they hit it with a microwave. That can happen with Katrina, remember, when it went inland. If you watch, can see that once it hit landfall, the storm continued to maintain its high probability of destruction. But in front of it, especially when we got to the Ohio, you'll see a formatting of the cloud cover where it starts to get hit with something really strange. This is all stuff we watched on the satellites. And by the way, each of the satellite systems, German, French, Chinese, all image, which can be found over and over again back when this was happened. But it'd be interesting to see if, like everybody said, well, the projection is the storm is going to do this. But all of a sudden it did something like exit stage right. Turn inland stage. When you see that, you kind of want to pay attention to what these other young kids are talking about. They're doing some pretty good research. Bring the other technology that's out there. Because again, it's provided by people that we don't control. So when they do, when you're provided, you can't say, well, somebody altered this or fixed that. Well, you can find multiple variables. Just pay attention. I'd be curious to see how that works out for us. Again, you don't want broken, you don't care about... well, some other nature is just gonna... What is jumping off the wall up there? You don't have hurricanes fortunately in Idaho right now. Just cool weather, that's kind of nice. You're better than the poor right now. That's the armpit of the world At least it's got all the snow from the Central of Canada and the Arctic Circle of the Skid Drive Well, Minnesota is talking more than a glacier trail And talk about something else that's you know pretty flat Minnesota's pretty much that way, but the year that we moved out here There was a record low not a windshield but an actual temperature of 60 below and We barely ever seen below zero since we've been here matter of fact when I arrived here I was just walking around in a t-shirt people were looking at me like I was crazy. You don't understand man. This is a... I come from the level. Right. See that's true though. See that's like when I went down to Arizona, when I was stationed. I came from minus 50 degree weather. Went down to Arizona's coldest winter in years. In degrees. I was looking at him, it's like you have absolutely no reason for that. I went down to U6. Minus 50, well 40 or 50 and then all of a sudden 70 degree weather it's like this is like wow. Well imagine going from 60 below to, I don't know, 32 degrees. That's a 90 degree swing there, man. That's a totally different part of the world. You're talking a 90 degree weather shift from, that's the one thing about acclimation. We talk about this all the time. It's stuck both ways. 50, 40 degrees. Then when you start looking at zero, oh, that doesn't help. They say, great, I can drink more beer. No, it doesn't work that way. You need other things. Work in another direction. Now don't think alcohol. And you can't do it, it's just that it's not going to ease if they're looking for a body. Guys, there's a lot of neat places you can pick where the weather's pretty stable. The thing else is with the norm and for the Indian population traveling halfway across the country, although now we have snowbirds that really do that. Okay, one minute through Michigan. The I-75 corridor is plugged. Yeah, the migration corridor through this storm. A little bit, but we're on the road. Except for the airlines who do not know how to move planes or fly and leave multi-million dollar aircraft away and be drowned Well think about that for a second. They could just as well took the airlines and said Hey, if anybody wants to get out of here $10 a seat. We're leaving. Yeah, we're going one way. It's a one-way ticket We're not gonna this is an unscheduled flight, but you if you're going in that direction that if we got a plane now. Yeah. We've been on a jet plane and my L and well we remember what the Navy calls it, as to the that way. Well it just goes to show even people that have money doesn't make them smart. Yeah or well or maybe they're smart. They might not be able to think that you know not letting things get damaged with these. Remember they might be. You might be a little suspicious if it's kind of like a Pearl Harbor thing where they Everybody's sending their planes down to this particular airport. Yeah, and we don't have any more room. I wanted to mention the tropical storm coming in from the other direction, which by the way, is making Arizona rather lush right now for the last couple of days. Rain, back in that five days, it was down there living in the in the sunlight of Arizona. The rain, which has been what they get for the whole season. That's the equivalent to like tropical rainforest for Arizona. Arizona, New Mexico, it's of an inch. Your drop here is kind of getting pushed in with these two hurricanes, season environments, very dynamic, and on a very high level, combination of sunspots, planetary tilt. Right now, in fact, you guys pay attention, well, don't look at it, but you might notice when you try to look at the sun when we have any kind of non-cloud cover, you know, usually kind of least gaze that a little bit. Not right. place even as I speak so that's why the dynamic storms are taking place and they're going to continue to be an issue. The only good thing? By the way, they call them privileges, not say you have a right to travel, you only have privilege. the state of michigan had this money money tip that they figured they were going to drop out of the sky if you had a ticket and they there was a driver responsibility scam this is their revenue latest revenue scam here several years ago it popped out of the sky that you don't just pay the ticket initially that you get But guys, you get to pay and pay and pay and they had a two year package, Joe. This is how expanded this was. You get to pay so many hundreds of dollars the first time around and then guess what? You get to pay hundreds of dollars the next year. Oh, and by the way, there's these classes. Does this sound familiar? Like with child perverted services, you have to take classes that are sponsored by the prostitute or the judge. You know, those. who have these special people, who by the way don't even have high school degrees, who will be giving you classes on your driver privilege and your driver responsibility. Now, here's what happened. So many people and the people just basically threw their hands up in the air and said, I don't think I need a driver's license. Guess what? The camel finally broke its back here a few weeks ago and the state of Michigan decided, and I also believe the reason they did this is because This only happens when enough money people finally have their butt bit. Then they have an epiphany and oh, all of a sudden it's not good. Drum roll please. Yeah, they canceled the whole thing and all of this is exonerated. You need to come back in and get your driver's license. Get your driver's license now. A lot of people didn't because they couldn't afford to. That's a house payment. You're talking hundreds of dollars. That's a house payment. That's a car payment. That's your rent for the month. Let's see. Do I give money to the state of Michigan? Those asses. Or put some food on the table. Yeah, exactly. So guess what? Now, right now, Nancy just stopped in the Secretary of State's office. They are being, now, since they've all of a sudden flip-flopped on this, they're being flooded with people who are reinstating their driver. Now, this is how bad it was. that the state of michigan is wanting to hire that secretary of state's office has to hire more people because they're so backlog and can't handle all the people who want to come in now and get their driver's license again you know what that means that means exactly what i said years ago when this bs started that people would walk and we talked about this on this program over and over again about walking away they just threw their hands up in the air and said, well we can't do this and you don't owe anything and you just come back in and get that driver's license so we can get that money from the international bankers. Instead of 500 we'll settle for 50. You see how that works? Now that's really sad. I said this one, we brought this subject up but this just happened and now the Secretary of State has had so much business of people standing in line having to hire more people just for You're the people should have just kept going man. That means it's massive. That means that they didn't even want to acknowledge the fact I'd be willing to bet that they had a quarter add driver's license. You know, we've always tried to get people to do that. Government made a system people to do it because it could not economically or the BS that they, they piled on people's. Now think about that guys. That means that you're not talking a few bodies. You're talking a big chunk. And by the way, there was no massive. This is the one thing I want to talk about. Well, nobody had a driver's license, or a lot of people didn't, right? Yeah. Well, was there any massive, you know, accident pileups and, you know, deaths everywhere? What guys? They didn't want to talk about that. There was no significant increase in any way, shape, or form. Probably was a decrease in activity. They parked their cars. Oh, again, people were watching out because they don't want to have to. The numbers don't mate with the idea. If you don't, no, we wouldn't. We could have paid attention. And a lot of people, sir, aren't getting suckered into the driver's license thing. Isn't that amazing guys? Just exactly what we've told people about. So it's kind of like they did it to themselves and it showed people, I kind of mentioned this to several people, I said well you saw the big announcement. Yeah. Well was there any like massive deaths because you didn't give that money to the state so that they pull you over and demand a piece of fur or plastic? Just simply to be a dog tag, a revenue mechanism. I've always said a few, I think that driver's license is something, hold it up in the window just before impact and see what kind of a... You can pick up a pretty decent crank in the clockwork radio when you wind it up. I understand there's another model of the hour. It's not critical. The half hour mark was considered normal because you tune into a program at the top of the hour to crank it up while the brakes are going. Sound theory. Remember with regard to the frequencies of the European shortwave, you want to make sure that it kind of touches frequencies that you are of interest and i feel like europe you want to find out more all the euro frequencies are fine but you might want to watch and make sure that the we frequencies that are covered by those radios are the ones that you can receive from here there is a difference in something that they didn't mention anybody lot of guys impor-sees years ago first wave of i think about eight thousand is complaining i can't get the frequencies i want to well because it's geared for european shortwave you could tune into the European frequencies, your American bandwidth was cut, was blocked, okay? It wasn't blocked so much. It just wasn't covered. It wasn't part of that radio. Another cool thing is those things do take a beating. I have had two of the original first 20,000 that came in. In fact, if I were out in the little shop tonight, I'd like to one up every two or three days and just land. That radio has worked pretty stinkin' good for a little technology. There's no solar. Actually have little solar panels built into them to charge up a small battery pack on board. Appliances like, for instance, your cell phone if you want to charge it up. There's a small generator pack too. Equipment like flashlights or whatever and they're rechargeable. Guess what? You can charge them back up using that same radio crank slash, you know, power supply. That clockwork you get the job done. In light of what you just saw here with these hurricanes, you know, we have the, you know, we're seeing the side effects of the who view to a few of these pieces of equipment. And in the process, well, like I said, if you're listening, some of you are listening right now, if you're in Africa, probably using the very radios we're talking about from the program today that's being retransmitted via the micro FM that is in your area. Again, a lot of you guys would be second nature, like, oh, Mark, I know all about this. It's been a while since we've pumped that into everybody's ears and we need to remind everybody of the technology that needs to be acquired. And once you got it, sit down to the shelf waiting for you. And again, you can listen to the micro effect. If you've got your little micro FM nearby and you're listening through that, it's not just complaining about the problems, because we know there's problems out there, but you've got to have answers. Another thing real quick, I assume that the white ones seem to be moving faster than the black cups. How about if you don't have a micro? If you are covering yourself up and you're in a humid environment and there's lots of moisture in the air and you put a big waterproof thing around you that is kind of tight, I don't care what it is, doesn't breathe well at all as a matter of fact. Uh, if it does breathe, it also says moisture and you end up wet anyway. So it kind of defeats the purpose behind why did you put the rain gear on? Now on the other hand, the rain gear also of course will get you to sweat, which means you get wet, which means that, wow, you go, why did I bother putting the rain gear on? Let's go back to a base of ponchos. Ponchos are readily available. They're still out there in good service. And one of the advantage of the poncho is on the one hand, it works like, well, what it's supposed to do, a big, drapey cloth that goes over your whole cart. The other thing is it just breathes more efficiently if you're worried about the idea that, you know, I need to shed some calories or some air going, airflow going, so I kind of dry off or stale. That was one of the big and to a degree. There's limitations, nashing of teeth. and running of hair. Well, here's the thing. Try just finding a poncho and test it a little bit in case you don't have the experience with them. One of the advantages of poncho too over top of the rain suit is that on the poncho it covered everything. Covered your gear, covered your backpack, covered your equipment. By doing that, you're also making sure you're not adding things you really can't afford to burn. And again, as we've spending upon the situation, again, look at buying two ponchos per person because they are a tool. They are useful when the time comes. 2089350094 and how many colors am I even up and on the air? Can we get them well? There are a number of sources but military ponchos have become a real two things that the surplus industry thought they'd never run out of. Entrenching tools and ponchos and the third item was wool. So few a number of wool army blankets and surplus that they're now making copies of all the wool blankets. And wool blankets went for blankets, the American blankets all have US on them or a Swiss color. but they're all pretty much being made over in China's port right now so here's another issue with the uh... ponchos while they may be milk cut yeah there's going to be some variations this has not been cheap there are some very ponchos that have been showing up on the market they are out there in good number uh... basically the Austrians back during the uh... cold war adopted the American kind of like the Dutch there's countries the Dutch and the Austrians Pretty well copied our system. Nylon web gear, nylon backpacks like the Alice gear. They went with an OD green uniform and then of course went to their own camel pattern later on. The old equipment that they used is basically, the neat thing is it all integrates with all of the American equipment that you do have out there from the same period. Because of this, they also cranked out a snot load of ponchos and they've been using, they didn't throw their army smaller. They didn't want to spend money if they didn't have to after all their kind of demi-neutral, remember, all street. And so a lot of this stuff piling up in their country and it finally has been coming out of the end. So because of this, the technology is for a pretty good price. These, when they come in, usually they're snagged up and they're gone as quick as they can. A little different green from the OD green that you're familiar with, a little different technology, but still very, very useful. So definitely something that equipment you're using, they'll work and they definitely are. the austrian are not much cheaper but they are genuine military article from the cold war era so they were built by a totally different group of people better skilled better technology now another thing major surplus dot com has a south american surplus on show and i can't apply should kind of looks like a five color chocolate chip reasonably priced that well but to the people pick them up little different from the uh... standard military ponchos of most here familiar with but close enough that you won't know the difference. And again, the price is right. So if you've got a bunch of people or if you're trying to put multiple pieces of equipment in or something like that, these are affordable enough you can roll them up, put them in storage or put them in the vehicle, you're not going to cry about them.
