Mark Koernke and Don Dutcher discussed preparedness, weapons, and survival topics on December 28, 2016. The show covered nuclear fallout shelter survival, various firearms and magazines available at discounted prices from retailers like Palmetto State Armory and CDNN Investments, night vision technology from YDTOE, and the importance of maintaining full gas tanks during winter weather emergencies. They also discussed historical firearms with documented combat histories, the significance of gun ownership and wills, and broader themes about civil unrest, self-defense, and the need for citizens to be prepared for potential conflict. The hosts emphasized the importance of acquiring ammunition, magazines, and tactical gear while supplies remained available.
survive completely either in major cities. If a major city got nuked, the people of the world might survive. There could be a lot of damage to eardrums and such because the overpressure incurred would blow off the doors they had because these shelters did not have huge blasters. We're talking about civilian fall shelters here. We're not talking about whatever government may or may not have had, depending on what you read. We're talking about civilian fall shelters. They just had fairly standard commercial doors. They didn't have these massive blasters. So the doors would be blown, potentially the doors would be blown in and there would be an over pressure which alone could kill people. But you have a much greater chance. There were people that survived even outside behind a large concrete, things like abundance in Hiroshima, Nagasaki 1945. There were people that actually survived out in the open, but they were in, let's call it a shadow of a big chunk of concrete or something of that nature. Okay, I'm out of time. This is Craig. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat and speaking low to me, he said, we fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate. And your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press. And you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken a number and you've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seemingly farm and keep our country deep. But men of God in jail, harass your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children will be. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God, make the torch of freedom bright as I awoke he'd vanished in the mist from whence he came. His words were true, not free. But we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each god-given right, we only watch and tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep, and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer? He called out from the grave. Don, what's it like in your neck of the woods? What's the day today? What's jumping off the wall, please? Well, it is the 28th day of December. Year of Our Lord 2016 and, you know, beautiful, wonderful day. It wasn't real cold and it wasn't real windy and, well, trying to floss some ground out. Built a tent today, so here we go. Again, the 28th day of December 2016 and, you know, that's the strike middle of the week on the paper index that hangs there on the wall, you know, some call them calendars as they strike off each day of the week until they get to a middle of the week stripe. And then Don finds himself with a 1911 in one hand with an empty magazine well and a full magazine in the other hand and well, we just solved that problem and we just put one in the chamber too so we could tell you, hey, parameter needs some attention. If you keep pulling the lever on that reloader you can say to yourself, much like I am as I top off this magazine, there's plenty more where that came from. And that means we can offer equal opportunity, coercive force. And we're doing everything we can to plug in the technology accordingly and prep everybody for what it is that's headed our way. Yes, well, actually everybody is pretty well evaluating that old bummer is uh... you actually playing and doing as much damage as he can before he leaves we kind of a we told you so what i think everybody pretty well know what kind of a turd we were dealing with man uh... hillary the hut he'd be prepping the ground for the next level of uh... activity in country here with hillary of course grabbing the baton from his claw as he left and the other claw reached out and snared the baton of Well, on another. Yeah. So as it is, instead, he's, you know, pissing up a fit because, well, he didn't get his way and neither the rest of them, the characters that run all of these Shysters, they decided that, nah, they're just gonna go the dirty deed the way it is with Trump and how far they can get along with that. A couple of different ideas out there that we need to be dealing with. Number one, again, as I mentioned, a number of different weapons during, it is Weapons Wednesday. during the two-hour block. Some not very common and in reality although they're good firearms and you need to be familiar with them, I should have mentioned again that most important is the idea that you need to be familiar with how they function, how they operate, what are their shortcomings or what are their restrictions, what are their limitations because you're probably going to pick one off an enemy corpse down the road. uh... that's the reason you need to be familiar with not because you're planning on going on buying one you'll be paying for it in other ways you know it's going to cost you a few bullets and danger of the battlefield and you'll be picking the enemy clean uh... sig rifles are out there in the forest uh... number of different bullpups and the bullpups aren't really hard to figure out none of these weapons are extremely difficult or truly separate designs from anything that you would you know not be able to understand in fact very straightforward very easy to uh... So we'll figure on being able to function, work the action, load the magazine into the magazine well, etc., etc. All of it's pretty well there. There are some variations or nuances in little minor control features. Those can be worked out pretty quickly as long as you pay attention. Just a little heads up there. I guess one of the other things before we go farther, of course, Carrie Fisher, Princess Leia passed away. again, our age. But if you noticed, I don't know, the last movie, none of them seem to be that perky considering they're not that old. In fact, even Harrison Ford is not that old, but man. Old enough to survive a plane wreck. Yeah. Yeah, in fact, you know, the thing is, I guess good drugs will do that to you. It's the only thing I can figure because I don't know what the hell else they've been doing. putting high mileage on them. You know what I mean? They got more money than you and me by far. Okay, so... Yeah, and so obviously that didn't do them any good. I would point out too with Carrie Fisher, and this is something I have to keep emphasizing. I figure she'd be dead a lot sooner because she contracted AIDS years ago. This is something that nobody talks about. She HIV positive contracted, you know, she was into the whole AIDS cycle. And I figured she'd be dead in about two years, because that was typical for everybody else in that window of activity when she contracted AIDS. What's interesting is that's not supposedly what she died of. Isn't that fascinating? Yeah, heart failure is what she passed away from. Yeah, supposedly. Yeah, this is, well, it's as likely as not. But what I'm fascinated by is, once again, this is like many of the things we've talked about on the air here. Rockefeller has had seven heart transplants. How did they get around the blood clots with him? To have one at the age that he originally had the first heart transplant, and in many cases, there's all like a 60, 40 percent chance you're probably not going to make it. And again, you may survive the surgery, but you won't survive the blood clot. So here we have a person who is as old as dirt. has had seven transplants and not one of those transplants has killed him, which is unheard of. Now, again, Carrie Fisher is not the only one who has contracted or been confirmed HIV positive, has contracted the disease, and then just coasts with no, you know, quote, unquote, ill effects. I'm sure there are ill effects we're not seeing, but it's the idea that, you know, proceeds on through the a much longer window of life than any and all of the other counterparts contracting the same disease. So to me, this as much as anything is a good example of where we're talking about hidden technologies or treatments that are available but not for the peasantry. You know what I mean? Not for you and me. Is it magic that that one fellow Johnson has been around so long? Yeah, and again, same scenario. Some people get special treatment, others not so much. Who and what they want to send out and how much money you're willing to sign over, right? On top of everything else. And it's not because it's truly expensive. It's just that it's made to be expensive, the name of the game. So anyway, just a heads up on that, I was rather curious, and it's something that apparently is not what killed her. It's not the issue of HIV slash AIDS, although there are a number of sidebars with regard to the illness and how it affects people, what it does to their system, immune system, needless to say is first, but body parts have a tendency to degrade, so who knows? Maybe it's a side effect of the drug and some people make it better than others but still don't make it. But again, eventually something is going to get you. So just another heads up on that one. Also again, that 1911 before I forget also, over at CDN and Investments.com, CDN and Investments, we've been looking for magazines. Of course this is their niche, their forte there. an area of expertise. So cdnn, cdnninvestments.com. Get over there and take a look at their holiday specials. Of course, we're past Christmas now, so now it has to be the New Year's Eve special. Party hardy and fire for the sky, dudes. You know how it is. Go away you go. Buy those cheap tracers. They may only see 40% of them, but they'll figure there's got to be twice as many in the air. Anyway, there are a number of different sale items on their general page that are looking pretty interesting. And, ooh, interesting prices on knives. And I deal with a company that makes these, and I'm going to tell you, it's interesting. They're the one that imports them, and I made here, made in China. But there's a series of pocket knives that are there, and actually, that is the wholesale cost for those. All the blades, the folding slash lock blades that you see there. And the same with the fixed blade, what are they calling this, the US Army Double Edge Fixed Knife by Taylor. 855 for the fixed blade knife and 450 for the folders. And those folders are exactly the knife that I could access from the company that brings men. I deal with a company that they're dealing with. They can recognize the entire knife line. And that actually is about average for that is the average price for all those blades plus or minus a few pennies wholesale. So that's definitely a good buy. They've changed out the mags. In fact, there aren't any mags on this page. I was just going to reference the Air 15 mags. But apparently, they just shut that off or switched out. And I got an email on it too, which is why I went to it all about three hours ago. So that's rather fascinating. Anyway, we'll see what we can do to find out more about that. I'll double check. But I know that CenterfireSystems.com also is carrying a number of deals, of course, through to the New Year's. And hopefully they haven't sold out. But that doesn't mean they couldn't, because a lot of these people have guys. There's a lot of activity going on right now. And here we go. Oh, do I'm looking? I'm looking? I'm looking? And oh, well, they still have the six-pack of HK mags. But I don't see hold on here. I guess I better double check There's a number of different places we can look so I have somebody trying to help me with the program You might hear his voice or her voice in the background. Wow Wow, I have my assistant keyboard operator. That's who it is, too It's the one that's normally here helping me on the monitor Forgive me. I don't know hold on because they do have another listing and I got to go through and find it I hate it when I do page changes guys because nothing is where you expect it to be so They just did a pack. I don't even know why they did this. It makes no sense whatsoever. Oh, the deck now and then. Yeah, just for the sake of me. We thought you were going to dig for it. It's like, well then maybe I'll just give up. How's that sound? Oh, you can't do that. Well, yes I can. Watch me. Anyway, no. Wow, it looks like they had an AR-15 package deal. Oh, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Oh, that's a bit of luck here. No, they're gone. I'm looking right at the numbers. They already sold out. This is happening every time I do this, Ted. I help you guys out. More and more. Well, anyway, don't worry about center fire systems. They sold out of there. As I can see, the zeros are attached to the picture again. So they loaded up. They probably had them by midday and sold out by this afternoon before we got up on the air this evening. So not a surprise. go to the last of what I had on the schedule here which was Palmetto Stairway because they had a magazine deal at least a couple of them on the front page. Nope, they still have some mag deals going on. They've got the daily deals which are the one thing to always keep an eye on. And let's see, well they've got the magpul pea mags again. And 12.30 a piece but with free shipping. On the one hand, it's mid-price for those particular mags. Now, Don, you've got a friend there and I don't know, let's see, it's only going to be good until tomorrow. D&H, 20 round aluminum AR-10 magazines with PSA base plate in black for $10.99, $11.99. You better get a fire under his arse and you get hold of him tonight when we're done with the program because that's as cheap as you're going to get an AR-10 mag for. I haven't heard of that cheap in a long time. And that's at palmettostatearmory.com. It's on the front page. It's part of the daily deals. Let's see, I don't think it's free shipping though, but it is still. That's a good price. You know, the AR-10, you know, again, this is Weapons Wednesday, so let's qualify this. I like the AR-10, I really do, but you'll notice I don't mention it, if I do, I mention it as the fourth rifle out. Now, there's a reason for that. It is a very common firearm by comparison to what it was, say, 30 years ago. There are a lot of AR-10s, they're a good rifle, but they are an orphan for magazines. They are very, very narrow and specific. Unlike the FN-FAO, the HK-91, or the M14, You have to buy all the mags that you can if you think you're going to run that rifle. It's just that simple. You've got to buy all the mags you can find and cheaper for more is always better. There are or have been a couple of nice deals with law enforcement only mags that were built in the 90s, but those things are pretty well dried up and are gone. So what you're going to have to run with is what we can find on a day like today. where they have again AR-10, DNA, what did I say? DNAH, yeah, DNAH, 20 rounders and their aluminum AR-10 and they're $11 a piece, good until tomorrow. And also they do have a number of kits that are on sale, you'll have to check that out, see if anything is worthwhile. And PMC ammunition also. With the kits, they're 16 inches, I don't see anything else. The stand was 409. Well, they do have one. Free shipping. It's a carbine, one to seven to a spas fake rifle, a PTAC and $350. But free shipping on top of everything else. And these are random deals, depending on what day you hit them. Looks like the magazines not all gone. There are some. Hold on here, let's see what they say if we get While you're looking to thermal 20 rounders? Yep. Good enough. Especially for some 50 cents a piece that's still a very reasonable price. The 20 rounders they fit everywhere and you'd be amazed at how small those are. They're not the size of a carbine 15 round mag but they look pretty darn close and the price is right. So that is definitely worthwhile and that's at old numerous arms slash gun parts Corp. Go ahead and give all the information out again. You got it right there. Yep. It helps us out a lot. And again, for Air 15 mags, if you put a kit together for the holiday, there's a magazine solution. Buy 20 or 30 of them if at all possible. You'll find that you can store them in a lot more unique locations. They're tiny. 20 rounders though, but they're small and much smaller than you actually perceive as far as scale goes. So, you know, it kind of reminds me of enough that we've got many, many, many hundreds and hundreds, if not thousands of them. I don't even know what the total count is they have on those. And the bags, of course, were utility bags. So those went on to actually use those for the ones that they offered. We used for medical pouches. Yeah, but $3.95 each, these are... Yep. And about mags, one more time, I actually... Oh, no. Oh, yes. Okay. Finally found them. They actually moved in the very end. They must be almost gone. They have 30 rounders, MFT, standard capacity, polymer mag, 30 rounders, air 15, 223, 300 AC, and they're $7 apiece. 30 rounder for $7 and 350 for a 20 rounder. Hey, wait a minute, you get 10 more rounds in a magazine, you know, because you have two mag, two 20 rounders for the price of what you're paying for one 30 rounder. You get 40 rounds for the price of the price. That's pretty good going the other way. Either way, if you need 30s or 20s, there's a solution. Thank you, sir. I don't see anything else. That's less than $4 for a magazine for an AR. And again, like I said, I carry them everywhere. 20 rounds I carry in every pocket. If we were going into a fight, I'd make a point of distributing them. That's why we have so many of them piled up, is that you distribute them all through every pocket you've got, one way or another. The weight of another, how many hundreds of rounds can be carried. efficiently all over your person, all over your combat pack, you know, the whole nine yards. You can have it distributed in many, many different locations, which was the original idea behind the FAL mag system that they built for era. So the magazines were distributed all over the gear. Auxiliary mag pouches, single pocket and double pocket pouches were sewn right onto, you know, the roofs of the individual bag, you know, sides of mag pouches to the sides of the other utility on the top flap of, etc., etc. And the idea was you're hearing that many more mags distributed so the weight wasn't all piled up in one place. You can do that with these 20s the same way. Anyway, Don, I'll tell you what, we're right at the bottom of the hour, so let's do this. Night vision technology. You have it. We need it. Look outside, guys. And little additional LED lighting. Christmas lighting. or all kinds of IR lighting, not Christmas lighting, but the next best thing, very cheap. And you've got yourself the ability to enhance an area where you need to without directly exposing your position, guys. Well, then you take Don's night vision and you act accordingly. So Don, you've got it. What do we have available? What are the web pages? And what do we need to do if we go to the web page too? Make sure you explain that every time. Well, if you go over to the webpage, that's Y-D-T-O-E dot U-S, that's Yankee, Delta, Tango, Os, you know, U-S. You'll see gun sites and binoculars and binoculars and things in a number of digital and screen and stuff. Well, you'll see prices there that we can beat if you give me a call. I can reduce that price and that phone number is 231-7968. Again, 231. 7, 9, 8, 4, 5, 8. You can, oh, as an example, the top of the line thermal, now this is a big dollar piece, but I offer up the example. That runs about, I think it lists for like $6,200 bucks and there are people who want to charge it that much for you. If you look at that device and that's what you want and you call me, I'll give you a code and you'll save more than enough money to buy one of those Zeta complete ARs in a case of ammo. So that's a measure of how much you'll save off of the top of the line thermal gun sight. Can't exactly tell you price on here because I'm not supposed to advertise for less than the prices that you see there. So you can see my situation here, but if you call me, we can, well, we can do a deal over the phone and get around that. My number is 231-79658. The other thing is every made that has the call for the reduction in prices, I've had good confidence in. It's the ones that don't call that I'm pretty I've become suspicious three times someone has made a venture into the website for a purchase and hasn't made the call it has been so again if you're looking give me a call my number is two three one seven nine six website yd to e goggles or gun sights green screens digital and and the Thorg recently that sure even finer the picture on the Thor is just get and tremendous you guys from the entry level all the way up to that big big dollar piece. It's just and we'll see these again company the manufacturers committed to this body as example seeing the ability to change color and a number of upgrades that are giving you more things that the device will do and in coming down the bed. If you're looking for a piece of thermal you guys the Thor is one of the most universal pieces right now as exact you know being able to be updated If you're looking, go over to the website, ydtoe.us. If you want to reduce the prices, give me a call. My number is 231-796-58. And if you bought a Thor and you haven't, you guys, if you go and get the most current download, you get all the others that you haven't put into the device yet. Well, I'd encourage you to keep your device current because, well, it's a computer. If you keep it current, it's a lot. One of the reasons why they do this is to keep it unhackable. I want to see the device. Go over to ydtoe.us. If you have any questions or you want to reduce the price, my number is 231796. It is a weapons Wednesday and there's a couple things I want to bring up like a demonstration of guns. We could do it like this because you know, for certain guns, I can't understand this because we run the parallel up mark of you know, some of those Japanese swords that were acquired like as the Marines and the Army marched across the Pacific. The ones with the plastic handles, they were the cheap ones. The ones with the ivory handles, they were of a middle-class family. The ones with the wire-bound, the leather and wire-bound handles, had been around a long time or had previous Here's the point here. No pun intended. Had previous marks from striking other swords in them. That mark might have happened 100 years ago because the owner didn't turn the blade in time. Some of those old swords may well have been on this date. The sword was in a battle and this sword killed that person and that person. And recorded into history, you guys. And this is what one might call to a samurai pride of ownership. understand the statement there, right? That pride of ownership. This was my great grandfather's or my uncle's or my father's went to battle and it's recorded. He survived that battle and in that battle killed three of his enemies in a duel. Now that sword went right back to this is a difference in society and a difference in mores and what's acceptable and what not. You know, in that time frame of the samurai. If a samurai was walking down the street and a person of lesser class just touched his sword, he could take his head just for that reason. You don't touch my accoutrements. You don't touch my sword as if it is my soul. And he could walk away. He could walk and still have his sword. Now think about that for a minute. Let's think that when sitting bull after 1876, wherever Sitting Bull went and the Federals came across him, you know they searched him almost to his bare naked body, searched his family, they searched almost everyone in the pack, everyone in his tribe that was traveling with him. You know what they were looking for? You know what they were looking for? They were looking for remnants of the Little Bighorn Battle. They were looking for war trophies and they were looking for direct involvement. They knew that Sitting Bull was involved and they knew that others were involved. But to find that you're guilty, you killed, and then to bring charges. That's what... This is why he was... one of the reasons why he was hounded so much and his people were hounded so much. He went to camp. But the point is, there's someone somewhere and perhaps he's listening or maybe his cousin or uncle or grandfather is listening right now. And that someone can say as he opens up... This is the gun that killed Custer and maybe he takes another rag or maybe out of the same bundle and this is Custer's gun. Now there are other guns in history that collectors have that have what one might call a history unto themselves. I wonder where that gun is that killed the guy you know I'm talking about if you know what a dead man's hand is. I wonder where that gun is if it's in some collector's hand somewhere. in someone's collection somewhere. And the guns out of the gangster era of America are people who have collected some of those guns and they have a history. They have what one might call blood on them. It's astounding to me that if a gun is involved in a crime, it's generally destroyed. unless, well, look at this, this is really cool, and this is the gun that, and this goes back over to that history. This is the gun that, and it might disappear into the logs of the property room, and well, eventually it's in someone's collection. That's not really, as an example, the Japanese sword. It was early. This is the gun that shot. No pun intended. That wasn't a hiccup at any rate. Think about that. It's abhorrent to spend that time and energy and then blame a particular, it's like, that's the car that ran into the crowd there, it needs to go to the crusher. The car that Bonnie and Clyde died in, that one didn't go to the crusher, did it? I think that one still, there's some place where you can go and see it, pay money to see it. Where did those guns go to? And Bonnie carried around, their barrow, and I can't remember her last name. Those guns go from that bloody conclusion there. how many holes in the car. Well, maybe perhaps, Mark, all those guns were all shot up and they were useless and they went to the Schmelter. Yeah, right. Those are in somebody's hands someplace. This is an actual gun from the Bonnie and Clyde car. Those are in somebody's hands somewhere. But now, again, this goes over to another thought line. It runs like this. And I don't want to be morbid about this, but do you have a will? Do you have someone that if you're not here tomorrow, Frank's going to, your son is going to get that gun or your brother or your father or someone, that's where your guns are going to go and that's where all of the accoutrements, what would be in the moussette bag, darn it. Your gear bag, that moussette bag is a French canoneer, that's where that comes from. I didn't mean to do that, but I did. It spilled out that French word, dang it. The reason I bring this up, and now we're going to go to a completely different subject, but we're going to go along. Why do you carry a gun? Or as civil times, best civil as times are right now, don't go to a mall. You might be involved in, everybody's running this way, everybody's running that way, and now everybody's running head on toward each other, and look, there's about 150 people over there fighting. But why do you carry a gun? The ultimate reason would be self-defense. That's the basic reason. I carry it because I feel more comfortable with it when I go out into the world. That might be your reasoning, but the bottom line is it's self-diving. Shifting that over, Mark, I'm certain, I don't even know if you might have talked about it, I apologize for not being here as of late, but you might have heard about another wreck there on 96. It was about 48 cars and a couple of people died in it. It's winter time, you guys. We talk about the winner will kill you as fast as they bullet. And you know if you're going to walk off to war or if you're going to a gunfight you probably want to take as many bullets with you as you can, right? Hence, you know, high capacity magazines and all of that and pockets everywhere, right? Let's apply that thought line to a different story because you know a lot of those people that waited in their cars sat there for 9 and 10 hours in their cars in the wintertime. It would have been good had they just left the gas station at the exit before and got on the expressway with a full tank of gas. You know, it doesn't cost much to keep your tank full. If you fill it up once, many people, I'm guilty of this too, but this is how I cure this problem. I'll go to the gas station and put $10 in or a habit. $10 or $20. It's habit. It's something I find hard to break. But if I look at the gas gauge and it's about halfway, if I put that $20 in, I've got a full tank of gas in or a gallon or two short of a full tank of gas. So if you top the tank, you say, man, I can't afford to keep a full tank of gas. We just told you how. Payday, top it off. Then, if you're usually, I put five bucks in it or ten bucks in it twice a week, but keep it full. Why? Well, if you're sitting in one of these places, and that was in almost the middle of civilization, you guys. That was down there not very far from Lansing and not very far from other places that are warm and comfortable and there's coffee and food and things like that. The roofs don't even leak. So that was kind of pretty close to civilization, but a lot of people spent, you know, seven and nine hours in their cars in the winter. A full tank of gas would be like a gift, like having a, you know, like having, you know, a half and a half, a 50 caliber for you if you're shooting the 50, right? It not only goes over to you, but it, you know, when you're in that car, it's like you're captain of the ship, aren't you? You are charged. You have charge of all of those souls on board, don't you? Yes. Going back to your first story, that was Bonnie Parker. Bonnie Parker, yes, thank you. Yes, she was actually from the area in Texas I'm in and the Parkers are still well known around here. Cool. And Aces and Aids and Wild Bill. Wild Bill. And I also one time had a I bought it at a flea market thing. I didn't know what it was until I got somebody to look at it. It was a NCO's Japanese sword. It didn't have any markings on it, family markings. The guy looked at it, but it was an original. It was NCO. Supposedly, he said that the guy that looked at it knew about it. He said it was actually made in Germany, a soldier, and he said when the Japanese and the Germans were the Axis powers, they were allies, the Germans made quite a few swords for them for their NCOs and it was a pretty good sword. Unfortunately, I sold it. A nice wall hanger, but again, we do what we have to, right? You sold it to buy a gun, right? This is good. You sold it to the soy to buy a gun. I couldn't remember Miss Parker's name there. But again, there are certain guns that really do have a history. This is a gun. This gun was carried to or even smaller things, not necessarily guns. I have a compass. My brother gave it to me. I had it sitting on a, oh, the table at a gun show years ago. And this guy walks up and says, oh that's a nice compass. Is that for sale? No, my brother gave it to me. He looks it over and turns it up and down and says, he collects compasses. I says, what can you tell me about that? He says, well, probably in World War I it was probably in, it might have been in Africa at the end of the century before that, but I'll give you a hundred bucks for it. I explained to him again that my brother gave it to me and he wasn't going to walk away with it. $100 or $500. I'm certain that that $100 coming off the top of his head, I'm certain that that compass was worth more than that. But again, it goes back over to the little things in the history of, I don't know the history of that compass, but that fellow said, rattled off a number of places that it could have been in its timeframe because it was a military compass at the time, at any rate. The point here is, we talk about a whole bunch of things. Where are your guns going to go? If you're still here tomorrow, that's probably because you made some action to make that happen at one time or another through the day or as necessary. That doesn't mean that every day is a life-threatening experience or hair-raising and just scary to which end. You're going to sit there and freeze to death in your car. But again, these are basic preparations. If I was going to drive across the desert, I'd probably have a couple gallons of water with me. Just in case, you know? When you... Oh, it's the classic thing in the horror movies and whatnot. Last gas for 93 miles. There used to be a place in Florida driving down I-75. where it was 93 miles or where there wasn't a long I-75, there wasn't a gas station in Florida for 93 miles. Imagine running out of gas in the middle of that and there's not even a small town. But again, this goes over to if you're not able to fight, you're not in the fight. It's that simple. If you're not here, if you died freezing in your car, think about it. Or whatever is that you dodged last week or the week before or twice this year, the year is almost gone. We've got the trucker listening. Just by getting out in the world and doing what we do, oh man, I can tell you three times last year where it seemed like for an instant, this is it, man, I'm a goner. You know what I mean? It's good to be here. It's good because you're still here. It means that you can still be in the fight. Now another point I wanted to make here. This goes over. This really is connected with this thought line. At the beginning of the hour you hear that 1911 and that's done for a reason. You know, that's, well we've got guns and we're willing to use them kind of thought line. It's exhibited right there. Because the other side has got guns and they're willing to come in and shoot up your church. You know that. Come in and, you know. people to the hundred and more in your church. Using that as a guideline or a comparison, you know, they promoted that Lan Horiyuchi, that fellow, that woman in the head, her baby in her arms, he was in charge of the sniper teams. Again, you hear that 1911 at the beginning of the hour. And there's, we've talked about that audible gun fought, you know, that of the double barrel ventures into the tube. Now that's kind of intimidating when the crowd is quiet but you just clap, you rack, glide on the gauge. That gains people's attention doesn't it? So offered up that thought line that it's not, it can be the one that you hear can really indicate danger. But in the world we live in and if it gets worse by just three quarters of an ounce worse, you know, just a hair's breath, you know, just chicken's teeth worse. Well it's not going to be good to be just walking down the road because it's the one over there that you didn't even hear the bolt close on, right? Walking down the middle of the road isn't going to be something that, well, is conducive to a long life. We've talked about this. We've brought this to you before. It's not as much, you know, if you're hearing that somebody racking that 12 gauge you're going to be looking over there. You might even be jumping behind the bar or something, you know, opening and closing the door as you exit the building, right? reaching for your gun. But the other indicators, there are so many others, but the one off in the distance that you don't hear, that's just as much the worry, particular when things heat up. So walking around out in the open, we've talked about this, walking around out in the open in the daytime, that's almost as, you know, well, it's only slightly... It's what we call a shoot-me syndrome. Yeah, exactly. But now we progress that thought line and there's so much night vision and so much even servillion night vision out there that walking around in the open, just walking down the road in the middle of the night in what would seemingly be a non-combat area, stumbled across those brigands. We bring this thought line to you just because, well, you can't trust location. As much as you think you will because everything is happening over there in whatever state starts with an A. Alaska, Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas. It's all happening. I don't think we have any states that start with a B. We could just run down the list. It's happening over there. But if it's happening over there, how come it's not happening here? I tell you Every time I put a gun sight into the field, I feel like I've lifted my burden just a little bit. I tell you, every time I put a gun sight into the field, I'm trusting that I'm selling that to someone who's gonna keep someone busy over in his neck of the woods. Keep someone busy, you know, the inference, the reference there, right? Because if need be, if it's happening over there, I'm gonna be keeping someone busy over here. Believe me, put that in mind. We've discussed this, we've brought this up before. If it lights up in Colorado or Nevada or Florida, what's to stop it from just booming like wildfire? With that in mind, again, you know, hen's teeth away. A hair's breath away. We've talked about that. And that's not beyond belief. But it's hard for people to change habits. That's another point to be made. I've walked down this road a hundred times day and night and I know it's safe here. Well, if it lights up and we talk about the computers you guys, you know, Facebook right now is working as hard as it can to bring nothing but truth to Facebook and I find Mr. Zuckerberg kind of laughable for that. In other words, they're editing wherever they can as quickly as they can. Exactly. laughable rather than laudable. There's no laurels that will come from it. He's only trying to conform. He's only trying to continue to do business as usual as far as he can. Why? Because he is on that verge of, oh, we're going to shut down the Internet. Have you heard that? Oh, we're going to tax the Internet. Oh, the Chinese are running it now. So he has his own problems there. So he wants to conform. We talked about conformity the other day. that shutting down. The only way he's going to do that is either through what's the algorithms that look for particular combinations of words, or eventually they just automatically turn you off, or going to go a lot more like particular places where we don't like what you're talking about, we don't want you back in particular chat rooms. If you go into some chat rooms and speak your mind, they don't want you there anymore. You're not talking mere agendas, so eventually they don't allow you in anymore. That is going to go in that direction. But again, we've talked about technology, but that's a communication thing to the other side of that. So it's not so much technology or what we're talking about, the latest singer who died or whatnot. It's the overall communication look. So it's a win-win as long as we've got it. They try to run as far as fake news. It's a win-win as long as we use it. Mark, you've talked about this with so many different things. Use it as long as you've got it. And well, if you've got it, why would you have it if you didn't intend to use it? That goes back over to the Use It or Lose It campaign. Exactly. Exactly. In fact, one of the most important things is, and this is the balance, remember, unlike the times that we've experienced, you know, up to this date, And even there, where we've been successful is where we've been able to turn around, hit all the switches, plug everything in, and state uncategorically we're using everything we've got. Well, repeatedly, the other side isn't too excited about the idea that, well, tit fat, we'll just go to town. It's something that is an issue across the board when it comes to, you know, at this point in time. You bought the ammunition for a reason. You've acquired the material and the technology. Now, do become a master of it. Remember that. Become a master of it. But when the time comes, If you have to fight, pull out all the stops and destroy whatever is in front of you. Reach for the biggest guns you've got, boys. Yeah. And remember, it's what you bought all the ammo for, not to hold it back. It's one of those things where you've got to win. If you're on your power base, an offensive force accepts casualties and nobody, especially at this point, nobody, nobody is even wanting to think about the idea that they're going to be. When it's demonstrated that it's a very of as the only offering and even there nobody sure of what really happened there's no one to talk to and you don't leave the battlefield intact anyway. You'll find them all used all over. I'll tell you what, we're at the top guys, I was looking to see if there's any notices here I had a couple of requests but we're not going to get to those. We should be hearing the music any moment now because we are at the top And I know we'll hear the music because we are at the top of the hour. Any second now, the music will be heard. Hey, I just heard Debbie Reynolds just died. A bunch of people around the Christmas holiday. Hey, they made it to Christmas. Yeah. Debbie Reynolds is way, if she's still alive until recently, I mean, until just now, then she's been around a long time. That was Kerry. Kerry's picture's mom. Oh, yeah. Yeah, she collapsed earlier this evening. Well, you know that might have been because of. Yeah, it's not good to lose your children. Oh, that's interesting. Well, you know, maybe she decided it was time. That happens too. Yeah, it happens to the best of them and it happens to the worst of them too. We're going to have to make it happen to the worst of them. Yeah, some of them we're going to have to help along. I mean, that's just how it's going to work. A lot of them. It's inevitable. Well so Debbie Reynolds, okay I'm gonna double check, well actually I understand you guys probably got it right, I'm just gonna have to find a little more about that. So Debbie Reynolds passed away today. He passed away what, a day, almost two days now. I died in an airplane crash, didn't he? I don't know when or where but he's been dead for a long time then, okay. That makes sense. Anyway, we should be hearing the music. Edward, it is time. We are past the top of the hour. Wait a second here. You know what, for the night vision, give us all the information please. website ydtoe.us. You'll need the phone number to help you reduce prices. The phone number is 231-96. Because we did have a couple of very generous gifts that came in as donations. I know we had a series of donations that just came in last night because I saw them in the email response. I appreciate that. Guys, also give me a heads up when you receive, if you can, libertyatprovide.net, libertyatprovide.net. When you get your packages in, just give me a thumbs up and let me know that you got them. We've been shipping out a lot of stuff, actually, but I've been shorted boxes because some of the big things require some special boxes and it's going to have to accommodate space. So I can't just roll those things out without them, you know, I don't want anything messed up where we can help it. But it's just a heads up for you that are expecting, just if you get it in the mail, it just gives me a map out. If I can know what date and, you know, again, just can confirm, you know, who. Because I don't want to ship them, I just want to see what the duration, what the time is to target. the same boat. We've had some really up and down as far as delivery time stuff coming in our way. Waiting for something really, really big and it might even be sitting over there waiting to be picked up. I just don't know yet. So I was going to check on that this afternoon and get tied up outside and just couldn't get to the bone. So number of pieces of equipment available. We mentioned center fire systems. It looks like a bunch of their sales are off. Keepshooting.com had some really good prices on several items. still have some interesting stuff in body armor and also in other specs. So if you're searching around, flage in certain patterns and certain equipment, just go through these sites, KeepShooting.com, KeepShooting.com, KeepShooting.com. And always look at their clearance, not much in their clearance right now, they just shifted everything around so the holiday sales are kind of coming off and going back to the regular prices. Like I said, take advantage of it while you could. I know maybe some can't, but When I point something out, there is a reason. And again, Center Fire still has several of their really good right now, including those eight
