The company has a large selection of pistols and rifles suited for your needs. Are your local stores sold out of ammunition? Call or visit them today for prices on hard to find ammo and bulk ammo orders. You don't need to worry about having a military surplus store in your area because MaineMilitary.com is the only store you'll ever need, all from the comfort of your computer. Visit them online today at MaineMilitary.com. That's Maine, like the state, Military.com. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat and speaking low to me, he said, We've bought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy is the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free, the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate and your Christian values can't be taught According to the state you read about the current news in a regulated press and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and see and they farm and keep our country deep. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children will be dead. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic in each God-given right, and pray to God, freedom burning bright. As I awoke he'd vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now his tyrants trampled, each God given right. We only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave, till the land of the free? Mike open and we've had visitor from the past either interrupted or it's damaged in the machine and is not feeding properly open Mike who is not We need to mute them up. They are interfering with me I can hear you. Okay. I think it's Our driver friend. I'll mute him real quick. He's only very very well. I don't hear it now so 1-2-3, 1-2-3 and we sound good. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the summer of the afternoon intelligence report. Korky runs in occupied territories west, on AM and FM microstations C, base stations and Ultra, Net Hallmark and Golden Spike technologies east and west of the Mississippi along with Alaska. To our friends on the Pacific side of the Rockies, we're going to be separating for the rest of California soon. Since California and the Fagot towns in Washington and Oregon, it's not really the whole of the state wants to leave the United States. It's the pockets of puffs that need to be encapsulated walled in, which chances are they already are, and then carved off from the rest of the state of Washington, the rest of the state of Oregon, and then peel off San Francisco and Los Angeles into another pocket there. And even the eastern part of California would probably be happy with that one. So it would not be hard to generate containment, okay? Just a real easy process. Anyway, today's date, well it is the second hour of the intel report, it is Wednesday, it is the 16th of November, it is the 8th year of open Fabian, the socialist and Soviet socialist occupation of America with a K. 2016, the year of battle, year of storm. We're talking this morning about a number of different weapons. Now, here's the thing, I haven't talked about, this is weird, but it's not. Because the Italian weapons, like Beretta, really haven't gotten that much play. And the Italians, in their effort to try and conceal themselves because of other activities, they get very little news coverage inside the United States, and they also get very little information or press coverage in general because everybody's told to turn a blind eye to what's going on there. Okay, and there's a lot of other stuff politically that is happening. But what's fascinating is their arms are the same way. You know, always trying to think of the Beretta, you know, the nomenclature for the Beretta pistol. Bottom line is that 92 has been around a long time, but it's number one, not really, you know, as accessible as say, Glocks or anything else you could possibly think of. I mean, Sigs, even they're pricey, but at least you can buy them, okay? The Paredes have been coming and going up and down. They have been on the market, but they just, they're just there. And because there were some issues with the American made Berettas with their locking cam malfunctioning at about 2000 rounds, remember we just kind of said, well if you got one, you got one. If you've got the wrong one, you'll find out when it locks up somewhere around 2000 rounds, which is pretty consistent. It's kind of a joke. It's a self-ragging commander killer. If you knew you were close like 9,998, 9,998, hey, hey, Lieutenant, why don't you fire my pistol here for a little bit. Take a couple mags with you. There you go. Yeah, yeah, you can use mine. Go ahead. Yeah, I knew it was close. A little more than 2,000 though, wasn't it? Yeah, I think I was six. Well, that's okay. Well, anyway, what's interesting is Britta did make and has made for a little while now a really nice carbine. It does run about 700. I saw one for No, I think 680, that's still a chunk of change, but it is a 9mm carbine. Very much it has the like sporter arrow look to it. The cool thing is it takes Beretta magazines, which is, as I've said many times, they need to razor it some blades. Now, you can get two high points and a lot of ammo and some mags for the price of which you're paying for one of these Berettas, but if you already have a Beretta 92, This would be a very good choice for you as a firearm, especially since a lot of you, every time when I bring up less expensive weapons like, hey, I'd go this way. Oh, you're spending money on yourself. Well, I would, but you see, it depends on my situation. If I were somebody else right now and I were single, I have a limited income and I need to be completely prepared and squared away to a degree. Well guys, I have to work from one area to the next and the next and the next. I've got to balance out my account so that I can get everything I need. Gas mask, combat gear, and the combat gear has to match up with the weapon I've chosen. So I've got to make sure that everything is correct and that I can bring myself, get myself on the table across the board in all categories. So that's one of the reasons that many of these weapons that aren't as expensive but are still more than serviceable enough. They're Chevys. There's nothing, there's no special whistle, there's no special bell, there's no razor lights. It's just a basic firearm that does a really good job. And pretty much everything that's out there in production does work. Now some, not as well as others, depending upon who put them together. We've joked about that with sentry arms. But there are a lot of decent guns, and Beretta has produced a pretty decent little carbine. Everybody that has gotten hold of them has liked them. So, if you have a Beretta 92 in service, this would be a good saddle rifle to go along with that pistol you've already got. Your mags are common, ammunition is the same, and away you go. So you're squared away there. So I wasn't ridiculing the Beretta except for the price. It's just the idea that it's the Beretta's answer to the high point carbine. And it really is. I mean, they made it out of, it's a clamshell receiver system. It's plastic, it's polymer, it's got metal internal parts, it's basically a handgun encapsulated with a frame and a long barrel. It's what it is. The same idea but done by Beretta. Right now there are a number of surplus mags available so that makes it even more desirable in terms of well if you already got a Beretta pistol and you're looking for that carbine, once you square that away just start cranking on the mags. Okay, just that easy. A solution, not just complaining about the problem. Now I love the high points and I'll tell you why. Number one, American made 100%. That's the first. Number two, lifetime warranty on everything. Okay, number three, well, pretty affordable price. I can get a whole lot of people armed if I need light carvings for people that aren't going to be blazing away all the time. They need something to get themselves out of a situation, not into one. So again, the high points do just fine. Now there's another thing I did kind of jump on. I didn't give you, it was on the next page so I didn't really touch on it. Except to mention it, but there are high point 380 carbines now. Now the guys that tested these, I watched one video, so what would have even built it? Well, because they're already building the pistol. And there's a lot of 380 ammunition out there and a lot of 380 guns out there. And somebody's already got it and they only want to buy one caliber. Maybe they like 380. See, this is America where we don't have to be all exactly the same. It would be nice, but then we'd all be competing for the same stuff all the time. And in a wartime situation, I'd be having that odd weapon and that odd niche, awfully handy. You might have ammunition and be able to shoot what nobody else can, which typically is what happens. OK? So the little 380 auto high point carbine's really cool. If you haven't had a chance to check them out, get to the gun show and ask about them. Somebody might be carrying one or have one on the shelf. Most of the high points go pretty well, you know, like a stack of, a stack of, uh, like a cordwood, a stack of chopped logs. Everybody grabs them, grabs them, runs. By the time the guy's done, usually a guy'll bring six, seven, eight into his show and there's none left before he gets to, you know, the end of Saturday, typically. Although he might have to wait until Sunday to sell the last one or two, but that usually isn't the case. When they first came out and they were about a hundred and some dollars a piece, oh hell, they were going out just, I was sitting at the gun show, set up on one table, watching a guy come in with 20 or 30 at a time. And as soon as he'd get them in, people would swarm in by two or three of them, one of them at least, again, plus a pistol, and I mean, just halfway through the day, all of them gone. Well, a lot of satisfied people would pick them up, and they aren't lamenting about them. It's a nice little cash gun, so I mean, stick away. Don't have a whole lot of money tied up in so you can deal with it. Now speaking of cachetes, we're going to use our sébaud, sébo, or sébo. Should I say sébo? And of course, my name is Marc, not Mark. And by the way, we'll be using the French Pundalciafilm for everything. And we can do this. But I'm going to tell you about them, their cachetes. Because a cachet, that's how my sergeant explained to me, cachet. So I'm going to use the word cachet, because my instructor used the word cachet. And I know he meant cachet. I understood that. I didn't need to have anybody interpret his particular dialect. But you know what? He was really darn good at teaching us how to hide things. In fact, he was a master of it. That's why he was giving the class. Caché weapons slash cash weapons like the little Beretta or the High Point. I'll tell you another one, the SKS carbine. I love the SKS carbine for being able to stash in places. I do not change out the magazine. As I said this morning, stick with a 10 round mag, focus on stripper clips, focus on ammunition. One nice thing about the SKS coming out the tube like that, there's nothing to lose. There's nothing you can fall off, even if the magazine is released. The magazine just pivots and flops on you. An inexperienced shooter can't lose it. This is especially critical when you have people who have very little gun time and you're trying to get them up to speed. Well, you don't make things too overly complicated. ammunition goes in the top son ball pull the bolt back let it slide forward don't hold it there you go shunk and now we point it towards the enemy not towards friendlies there is no such thing as friendly fire and we're going to line up the sights and we're going to work on shoulder weld, cheek weld, breathing and sight alignment and squeeze that titty and boom there you go see how that works and then repeat it nine more times yeah there were 10 rounds in that magazine The nice thing is that it's also small. It fits in a nice simple PVC tube along with a coil of ammo, cleaning gear, chest pouches, spare food, even a pair of tennis shoes or a pair of cheapie jungle boots where you get some dry feet put together there. You're already wet soaked or your shoes are falling off your feet. Kind of nice to know you've got a cache where you can pick up most of the basics and at least give you so many more days or weeks or hours of running time. It doesn't mean it's a hell of a lot better than running around barefoot or with equipment falling apart. You figure out what you're going to put in each of those caches so that you are properly supported. I love spare socks, underpants and t-shirt right off the bat. Remember, those old ones, if they are really ratty and shot, you never throw things away because they're cleaning rags if nothing else. That's right, fine cotton. Wash it back up, get the stink out of it, and use them accordingly. Of course, on the other hand, if you're really short, you won't be throwing them away until they're literally falling off your hind end. That's just a basic rule. This is Hal in South Dakota. Oh, go ahead, sir. Jump in there, please. I just wanted to back you up on the SKS. Yeah, I love the heck out of SKS. And like you say, you get up there in that hill, I'll show you some obsolete. The other thing is, yeah, high point, sorry about the noise outside here, I'm close to the interstate. High point, you can get into like a 9mm 40 or 45 for less than $200. Yep. And I wanted to give you a heads up this Friday. Thursday night and Friday we're supposed to get some snow here, maybe four inches. In the Dakotas? Yeah. That means it'll be rolling our way a little bit too eventually. I mean, after all, look at the date. It's the 16th of November. We can't complain, you know. Actually, yeah, the other thing is, if you're going to get it, we'll probably get at least some of the high ground up north because we always get a little bit of snow for opening gear. and at least a little eventually. And we're in the opening deer season right now, so it's coming up just like here. It's on top of us now. It's as brown as heck here and as thin dry as heck. And, well, my still got potatoes to dig up. I'll let you go. I just wanted to say, I take an SKS over 8K any day. A 20 inch barrel. Heck yeah. If he reaches farther, it's more, it's a comfortable gun to shoot, and I can throw it in anybody's hands. And like I said, nothing falls off it. The bayonet folds, the magazine doesn't fall off the gun, so even if the shooter doesn't have a clue, you just remind him, hang onto the weapon. If something happens, turn, run like hell, and hang onto the weapon. We'll fix it when we get to the other end. There's probably nothing to fix. The guy just may not have experience, and you gotta be prepared for that, because, you know, there's a lot of people that don't have a lot of time on weapons. The SKS is a great training rifle for that purpose too. The key to SKS is to get used to shoving that stripper clip down into the top. I don't like them duckbill magazines because they're really hard to... you need a big pulse for them. If you leave that bill hanging off, they like to hook up on stuff. Well that's just it. About half the weapons I have at the RISCAS like that, we pick them up because somebody else will get rid of them. So half have the detachable mag, but we have it because the other people got rid of the original magazine and went to the detachable. But I always go and buy a 10-rounder for each one of them so I can get in there, pop it off the stock, put the 10-rounder back in, and switch her back to 10 rounds. If they drop or lose all of the duckbill mags, Then we're going to go back to the 10-routers. Yep, yep. And even if you've got one of them 20-routers or 30-routers on there, you can still dump 10 in the top. Yep, exactly. Well, we can get the 20-in-spill better. But I'll get off here, yeah. And you know, that's the big thing. Practice that. Practice that. You know, you can carry a lot of rounds with you've got an SKS rig. You can carry a lot of rounds on the stripper clips. Yep. So, you know. We load up all of our SKS chest pouches. What I do is we put three 10 round stripper clips in the plastic and then in a zip lock bag and put those in the individual pocket and we use the chest pouches as bandoliers. Now if you throw that to a guy with an AK, he's got three 10 round stripper clips. There's a loader guide in the pocket where it's supposed to be and on the side oiler pocket. and you can load up the mags that way. If you threw it to a guy with an SKS, he's got strip-e-clips galore and he keeps running with it the way he normally would. Yep, and a loaded SKS rig fits really nice on a 30 caliber can. Yes, exactly. Oh, yes, or piles in a 20, you know what I mean. Very good. I heard another caller. Anything else, sir? I'm out of here. Okay, thank you. Appreciate that. And who do we have? Will's. I heard a voice. Well, I just heard a voice for a moment. I know, I'm sorry for interrupting. That's okay. I'll tell you what guys, we're going to do an air candy, we're almost at the bottom of the hour. Talking Heads. Hey, good choice guys. Life During War Time. Remember this song? Oh, you'll recognize it when you hear it. Used to be, well, a few years back, more than a few now, on occasion you might hear this on the radio. I think it's on the no playlist now. because, well, the people that took it to heart were on our side. The other side is too busy with diapers, being snowflakes, and looking for safe places. On our side, we're kind of weapons-oriented. So the song makes more sense kind of when you're looking. It would be more our perspective on the world and how it works in the up-and-coming war. Anyway, here we go. Little talking heads and alternate rock back in the day dudes. They were like, you know, up against a man. And then they sold out dudes because that's what everybody else said once they started getting popular. Anyway, here we go. Life During War Time. Actually the two best recordings, and I think the two most common recordings you've heard, are both live performances by the way. That's actually a second piece, a second production piece from later on in their career. It's all in original release. And that was done as a live performance. Kind of funny that way. Some funny bands, you hear them, they call them studio bands. Man, they sound great in the studio, but get them out where the mixing board can't do all the work. Everybody out there, again, music mixes, some of this stuff. This is one of the no play album pieces right here. This is one of them, the list of things you're not supposed to play, so you should have plugged your ears while you were listening. Remember, your mind is your first best weapon, and your fingers will, of course, protect your mind by blocking the evil sounds of band instruments. Well, wait a minute. What was that line from Braveheart? Fascinating. Nothing's changed, has it guys? Isn't that amazing? Outlawed Tune on Outlawed Pipe. The regime's still well. It's not so much the regime. The Shasters know the power of music and sound and, you know, again, orientation, how we, you know, how we visualize things based upon life's experience. And when they realize it's not working, their advantage, oh, they don't want that around. Pretty well guaranteed. Now, couple other things about being around. Again, uh, a reminder that we do have a couple of other unique calibers floating around out there that are actually pretty decent. One, it's purely a matter of how motivated you get. JG Sales has got a bunch of this 45 alternate ammunition available. Now it's not a bad device, guys. It's not a bad choice. Problem is you just have to have a custom 1911 barrel made, and this is what most people are, you know, when I've mentioned this before, they kind of went, eh, I might get a lot of work. It really isn't. You can get a nice field grade standard barrel 1911 in the 45 alternate load like this. So would you tell them what you want spec wise you tell them what it is They'll check their records. They know what you're talking about And what's cool is that they can actually, the industries that do barrels will chamber something for you. The cool thing is, this is a European alternative because in Europe, like in Italy, we talked about them earlier, you can't have a standard military caliber for a gun. If a gun is a military weapon, you can have it in any other caliber as long as it's not in the military caliber. In some countries, you have to have a special, you know, a special chambering a special load, totally unique, totally alien to everything else that's out there, okay? But what's interesting is there are some neat solutions that people came up with. Well, Samco out of Florida bought a bunch of stuff like this and was marketing it, but kind of slow on the upkeep there. And because of that, what happened is, in fact, let's see if I go, oh, I hope I'm mentioning it now. Okay, there we go. Here it is, AP. Let's see if they still have it in stock. Uh oh, they got gap. Whoa, okay. Maybe I'm telling you about something that they might have already sold? Let's hope not. Anyway, this is a 45 load and their 45 long colt is not what we're looking for. Okay. 45 long colt, but that's not what we need. Oh, forgive me guys. They actually had this listed before. Okay, let's go to other calibers. Let's see if they did that. They might have put it over. They did okay very good. That's what they've done. They were jiggled it around a little bit, but I they still have it anyway. It's 45 HP now. This is not 45 ACP. It's preview partisan factory fresh ammunition Boxer prime non-corrosive the overall length of the case is the same as standard 45 But the case itself is shorter by a millimeter and the reason for this is so that you can't get it to operate in any standard sub-atamatic pistol. You can't use a standard barrel. So you have to have a separate barrel, which means that the companies that chamber this already are building barrels for handguns. Oh, that means they offer this in Europe, you see. Well, SAMCO had a whole pile of it. and it turns out that JG Sales bought out on the auction a bunch of the ammunition that they had and one of them is this 45 HP. Now what you could do is you take and tell a company that does barrels, there's a dozen different ones out there, more than a dozen, probably about 20 or 30 of them if you look around long enough, but they will build you a standard 1911 barrel if you've got a 1911 that will be chambered for this round. What's the advantage? Well, it's $159 per thousand. That's a lot of range time for a lot less money than standard 45 ACP. And for the price of a relatively inexpensive, again, field grade standard barrel would go on your 1911 if that's what you got. Now, here's the cool thing. If you have any of the end frame revolvers, this ammo will work in it all day. If you've got any big end frame revolvers in 45 ACP, all other dimensions for the case that we're talking about here are identical. So you can put this ammunition into the half moon clips, put it in your Model 1917 Smith or your Model 1917 Colt or your Smith & Wesson, I believe, Model 25, and boom, boom, boom, boom, but you're shooting for a whole hell of a lot less. So this is a real good solution for big bore for some people who just need, you know, want to have a lot more ammunition on the shelf. If you are committed to those revolvers, this is an excellent choice, as a matter of fact. Now the only interesting thing is it looks like somebody came in and bought all of the ball ammo. And the reason I say that, because the only thing they list now is the soft, you know, jacketed hollow point. Okay, so it's a soft nose jacket at hollow point and it's $159 per thousand and you really can't beat the price on that. But somebody got smart and bought all the ball ammo they had. Hmm, I'm fascinated by that one. I wonder what they could... Somebody probably got motivated the same way, but they also focused on the ball ammo. Which I've pointed out again ball ammo first maybe somebody's listening. That's cool now in this case with the revolvers me if it's a revolver you're going to be shooting in anything will do in the jacket at hollow point will work just fine. So there you go that is an excellent solution and if you have grandpa's old model 1917 or a great grandpa's depending how old you are If you've got a 1917 Smith & Wesson or 1917 Colt, both of the big N-frame 45, actually they were a 45 rimmed case, they made that, they made a 45 rimmed pistol. It's a 45 ACP case with a rim. And then they also made half moon clips so you could use all that standard 1911 government ammo laying around and load it up that way. Both solutions are good solutions. Oh, very good. Okay, excellent. Now I'll get back to you. As soon as I'm done with the program, I'll shoot you the information I have from John up there in Maine. Sound good? Yeah, I didn't put nothing on the subject line, so you might have a hard time finding it. Oh, don't worry. I'll figure it out. You did it just at about 638, 637, so that means I can figure out where it is. 639 right now. Perfect. Very good. Thank you, sir. And let's see, one other thing that you, as long as I'm over at J&G Sales, you know, I'm gonna harp on it, 6.5 by 55, wooden bullet ammunition, 4,000 rounds for $200, 4,000 rounds of rifle ammunition for training purposes, and you can't beat the price. Now, how much of that they have left? I don't know. But they did have a big chunk of it still as of the last time that it was at the... Oh, forgive me, I was at the page. Oh, there we go, 6.5 variants, wrong section, no wonder. Oh, and then there's things... Oh, well, it's not really too bad. Now, it's not cheap, but they do have some 6.5 Carcano Hornady ammunition for you guys who have a Carcano. It's 29.48 a box. That's almost $30. Actually, it's $30 a box unless you buy quantity. Well, hey, that's what Carcano, especially Hornady, a little high or mid-grade on the price on that one. That's not unexpected. However, scroll down a little bit, and the 6.5 variants in terms of loads, they have 6.5 by 55 Swedish M14 blank slash wooden projectile. and 4,000 rounds for $199.60. That's a hell of a good deal. How much is that weigh Mark? 4,000? Oh I don't. Actually a couple of our callers and a couple of our listeners, forgive me, I know bought this ammunition and actually it's a chunk of change to ship because 4,000 rounds even with a wooden projectile is a big pile of ammunition. Okay? So, what's interesting is they also offer it in the belt, you know, browning belts. They offer it in smaller lots if you want to buy a smaller quantity, of course. For $200 for 4,000 rounds plus shipping, you can't beat it no matter what. And again, if you're training people, here's the other thing people are doing. They're pulling the wood bullet, they're resizing everything, and then they're loading it up to fill them in as ball ammo. That's another option and 6.5 swish is kind of pricey So this is a very good price for basic components and then you go from there the powder cannot be used a EC blank one two or three and this is probably one of the EC variants is To not a burning powder to use for any kind of conventional projectile load So I'm going to warn everybody do not use blank powders for loading any of your standard rifle or pistol cartridges. Again, I guess in a crisis down the road, maybe somebody will work out the numbers. But the problem with EC blank is it actually detonates. It is burning so hot that it's actually considered a, you know, again, well it really does, it slaps the end of the bullet no matter what kind of powder is used, but we're talking velocities that are up into the high explosive range. In fact, EC blank, if there's a whole bunch of it together and they were inside something about the size of your fist, well, oh wait a minute, that is one of the powders that was used for making grenades. EC blank powder slaps that metal and shears it into little shards and horrible wretched pieces of shredded death. So EC blank powder has other purposes, but typically again if you're using any of the blanks for components you dump the powder and save it, but you mark it. or if you can confirm that it's EC1, EC2 or EC, that's echo Charlie, EC1, EC2 or EC3. Now there are other powders and this is a Euro so it might be an EC variant that was done in Europe by whatever year but it will be a higher burning, a higher velocity powder that's really not useful. until you do some burn checks if somebody knows what they're doing. Otherwise, I would dump the powder, use the primer, it's pretty damn primed anyway, size it up, and resize, full-size the case, and if you have to trim but you shouldn't, and then drop your either cast bullet or a regular projectile on top of that and go to town. That's a great way if you've got a bunch of 6.5 Swedish Lügemanns which are semi-auto or a bunch of bolt-action Swedish Mausers to keep them fed. That's what a lot of people are doing. In fact, I suspect that 45 HP, only the soft point is left, the ball is all gone and they had a lot of that stuff. Somebody may have picked it up for components. For what reason or what they figured out, they might have decided they can stretch the case by doing a full resize on it and get that extra length back and then reassemble it. I wouldn't be surprised. There's guys with better machinery than we have and production machinery, but if you know what you're doing, you can thin out that 45 case. There's a lot of extra metal there, especially since, remember, the case is tapering inward at the base. internally. Inside it tapers. It's part of the projection cone for the shock wave when the powder burns and it's designed to direct the powder charge towards the base of that bullet. It's kind of a cupping process, okay? So anyway, the ball rounds are all gone. Since I told you what a day ago on the air, somebody swept in and bought every last round they had. So, I'm not surprised. Now, as far as this 6.5x55 Swedish M14 blank, I don't know how much of it they have. I haven't talked to them. I guess I'll call. I might give them a call tomorrow. I think I will. Because I have been curious about this. You know, I know they got it from SAMCA, which means they had to ship it from Florida all the way over to Arizona. So it's already moved first from across from Sweden over here to the US and then it went another almost the whole length of the country across to get plopped down in Prescott, Arizona, which is where it is now. Kind of interesting. But anyway, stuff like that happens with ammunition and with guns, guys. You know, people make trades, people chain all, buy things, and especially when they buy tonnage, just how it works. Another thing about the 6.5 Swedish, if I were looking for a rifle, I'd look for a field grade at a gun show. I'm not looking for pretty. I just need a rifle so I can take it to the range and enjoy this cheap ammunition, either for cutting paper at really, really, really close range. You know, you're not going to reach great ranges with it. You don't want to get shot with a wooden bullet either. It's kind of nasty, okay? Just kind of think about that one. So while they are quote-unquote blanks, that is a projectile. Okay? It's just like the plastic 40 grain and 30 grain bullets built by the Germans. Those are bullets. They may be plastic, but they are bullets. You can die from them. What really is interesting is my grandpa, my grandpa's showing on my mom's side, her dad was in World War I and it's like he said, when they were training, the French would fire wooden bullets at the troops in the training trenches. You got hit, if you got an eye knocked out or something like that, hey it was part of the war, it was part of training. It's your fault you didn't duck, it's your problem, not mine. Seriously, so trust me on this one. These wooden bullets, nothing to mess with though. Just because it says blank. In fact, a blank without a bullet behind it is a high pressure vent of energy. That by itself, if you stick that barrel up to somebody's head or to their butt and you pull the trigger, you're going to cut a swathe out of them. You're going to blow a chunk out of them with pressure. Really embarrassing. These are not toys, these are weapons. Always treat them as weapons and treat them with respect and you'll do just fine. I remember an actor who shot himself with a blank. in an empty case with a primer of all things. They actually had primers that were still active in the cartridges. Well, apparently they had been fiddle screwing with the guns when they had those in the weapon and somebody pulled the trigger, and one of those jackets was sitting in the barrel. And when Mr. Lee took that blank gun and said, oh, he was laughing up and took the blank and stuck it to his head and pulled the trigger, there was enough of a projectile there with that jacket, so it went right into his beener and pretty well did him in. The pressure from the blank would be enough to kill him though, so you don't fiddle fart with stuff like that. Yeah, what an idiot. Well, they're in Hollywood. Did I say more? It's also social Darwinism. It's like Daddy taught me a long time ago, don't point the barrel towards anything unless you're serious and never play with the weapon. You can work with a weapon and even then something can happen. It's like saws, trucks, cars, anything. I don't care. You've got to constantly be thinking and you can still have something go wrong. Something can still happen. So, again, but you don't add to that problem by exacerbating it with stupidity, okay? This is a good choice though. You can set a young person or the ladies who don't have enough rifle time, you can put them down on the range and for 4,000 rounds for $200, even if the shipping is another $100, and I think it is, you're still looking at a hell of a buy. That's a lot of trigger time, guys. And every time they pull the trigger, you get the flash, you get the boom, you cut paper, okay, so everybody gets all the positive response that they need and they gain experience. So that's how you need to treat this. I would treat this for minimal effort. In other words, if I needed ammunition, I'd be pulling, we pull powder on anything. We've taken every kind of blank that exists and made it into a ball round. Okay, seriously. 223, 30 out of 6, 308. We've done all that. We've researched that at different times. This country has been desperate for ammunition because the supplies ran right down to zero. Okay? Or earlier on, let's remember something. When the AR-15 rifle first came out, there was no surplus. Think about it. Years ago in the 70s, there was no surplus. Now, guys, pilfered ammo from the guard But, you know, everybody was paranoid about that because they were real rabid about, you know, hunting people down and harassing them on the gun ranges. I remember that. So a lot of people, when they got brass, mostly it was blank brass. Well, guess what? You make a tool that would open up that rosette crimp and then you run it through the resizing die and then you do your case trimming and by the time you're done, it's work. But you know what? You ended up with a thousand rounds of .223, you know, and it was .556 to take to the range. And that's what we shot. Cast bullet with a three quarter gas check that we built from 22 rounds or full metal jacket 22 rounds made from 22 long rifle rounds. Because there weren't enough bullets around. There wasn't any surplus until, you know, right, you know, I'd say almost the end of the 70s because Vietnam shut down. They still had an army and there wasn't that much of the stuff in the inventory because they lost a bunch of it overseas or they left it overseas because of the Cold War. So we've had to do this before. In 30 out of 6, it's actually a good practice because, again, take it and develop your skills. Some of the brass is not long enough. There's some brass is built that even if you try, you can't get enough length out of it. But you can cut it down for other cases and then full resize it step by step. which is another thing we've done. So again, creative minds, necessity is the mother of invention. People will develop. It's that simple. But this is a good solution right here. And again, for everybody I keep talking about, it's JGSales.com, www.jgsales.com. When you get there, go to ammunition for rifles. Ammo for rifles is what it says. And then when you get to ammo for rifles, go to 6.5 variants. It's what it says, right below 50 caliber BMG. You go all the way through all the big calibers and 6.5 variants. It's where they stuck all the odd 6.5 millimeter ammunition. There's 6.5 Swedish, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 by 57R Mauser. a mix of everything and of course the surplus ammunition is in there too in the 6.5 category so there's some pretty interesting stuff and again that year 6.5 Grendel that's in here too I didn't notice that Creedmoor, Grendel and of course some Caracano and then the Swedish and the Mauser that's about it. The best price is that 4,000 rounds of wooden blank ammunition for $199.60. I'll throw the dime and the two quarters in there just to round it out real quick. Oh, not even that. What are you talking about? A quarter, a nickel, and a dime. There we go. Now, 60 cents. I only need 40 more. Anyway, other things. We're almost, oh, hell, we're almost at the top already, guys. We're not going to play that other piece of music somebody asked for. That's okay. Another thing was magazines. Now, again for everybody, as we've pointed out, Apex Gunparts is an up and coming company that has been doing a lot of new work. They've been grabbing stuff from all over the planet and dragging it in. They've got an entire armor slash tank optic section now. So if you're looking for optics because maybe you have something laying around that's big and tracked and the optics are almost always missing because they were taken out and used for something else, you know, given to another tank or given to a country, well, some of that stuff's available. So if you need a 105, you know, optics system or if, you know, for the 90 millimeter gun, depending on what it is or for the commander's cupola, they've got that sitting there. But magazines, They still have the Set-Me-L223 mags. These are the 556 NATO mags. They're steel. And with the prices the way they are in the country, it's probably the second best price in the nation right now, if not the best price, because it is a military mag. These were made for the Spanish military. They went into service. The guns have been used. The magazines have been used. And they work. That's the one thing I like about them. If they're military mag, they wouldn't have bought them if they didn't work. And the only thing is that the Setme 223 rifle, you know, 5.56 rifle is now long in the tooth by .223 standards. And so they've apparently gone to another gun or they're starting to mark it out some of the earlier, you know, Setme 5.56 variants. for whatever reason. That means the mags came with them and they got a pile of mags for a pretty good price. So that's ApexGunParts.com. If you're a new shooter or somebody who's been listening to this, you know, been listening to what we're talking about by building a gun, grabbing the kits, getting the 80% receivers, still need mags and ammo. Ammo, search the system. Again, AIM Surplus, JGSales.com, UNAMMO.com, AMOMAN.com. Magazines, you bounce all over the place, look to see what you can find. Search for the best price. The important thing is to pick up at least 20 to 22, 23 mags right away. That just should be a policy. 20 mags is a nice round number, so maybe make that your happy number, okay? Two zero. Then keep accumulating mags. In step one, most for the least, but again they've got to be serviceable, that's obviously the case. We have not seen any magazine produced in 223 recently that has been a problem. I don't think we've seen an orphan mag in quite some time that's been a real bugger of a child. All of them pretty well are on the up and up and have been functioning well. The hex mags work well. C mags seem to work pretty well, at least they're worked up to small spec. Magpul, of course, everybody loves Magpul. Magpul made some hard decisions and stayed the course and stayed pro-gun guys. They could have tried to suck Dinkus to the government when Bummer was going after the guns three years ago, but they didn't do that, did they? They showed Colorado a thing or two also, so that should tell you something. Anyway, if there was anything else, of course the magazines, you could also go to centerfiresystems.com centerfiresystems.com centerfiresystems.com and they do have a couple of sales going on there but I have to look to see if they have the stuff in stock and you can check on that. So go to www.centerfiresystems.com and when you get there you can go to their mags but also always check top of it. Oh, right there. Here we go, it's not the absolute cheapest price. AR, in fact this just went up because it wasn't there earlier. Bio, let's see, on, oh and Korean AR mag and drum. Bio, special Bio, okay, Bio. Purchase of any AR-15, rifle or parts kit. Oh, okay, well, they got the parts kit for good price too. AR-15, 30 round mags, $7.49 each. and the Titsadoom, the Beta Mags for $94.99, so that's $95. I'll throw the penny in there on that one. Anyway, they do have a number of kits also, and in fact, they're showing the Korean Air 15 Steel Mag for $750 apiece. I gotta buy that M1 from Charmedale before tomorrow, right Mark? The one is yet, before midnight, you gotta pick up the Palmetto Kits, yes. Then they'll change, they'll put another one on sale, but the one we were talking about that was on sale is the best price right now in the country by what I can see. It's a good rifle, like I said, it's a good choice. The Palmetto, it's an M4 knockoff, 1 in 7 twist, it's a serviceable gun. Palmetto makes good products, everybody's happy with them. The big thing here again is, in fact, hold on, I'm going to look to see. Yeah, I think that's as good a price as any, in fact a better price than most, looking at even center fire prices right now. So yeah, in L.A. you get free shipping with it, right? Yeah. Yeah, so it's the best choice. They got one for $369.99, but it's going to take a lot more work to put it together because it's completely in parts. Whereas the Palmetto kit, the upper receiver is completely assembled. I gotta get that thing bought. How about I've got some time left? Well, a big thing here again, like I said, magazines. Korean Air 15, 30 round 223, 5.56, blued steel mags. $7.49 a piece. And nothing to write home about, just a basic dent resistant construction, rust resistant finish. green anti-tilt follower, blue steel, new condition, manufactured in Korea, 30 round capacity. It's right on the front page of Centerfire. So there's another solution. And those are brand new mags. So if you're worried, if you don't want to buy the used mags from whoever, you can buy the brand new mags from Centerfire. Works out just fine. In fact, they have all their kits on the front page for anybody who's looking anyway. So if you were curious about what we're talking about, The entire Plum Crazy lowers are $110 a piece. Those are listed on the page, the upper left hand corner, easy to spot, and their E3 Arms Plum Crazy AR-15 Complete M4 lowers. Ready to roll. Anyway, we are at the top of the hour.
