Summary
Mark Koernke discussed post-election firearms and ammunition markets, noting that prices for military surplus items like entrenching tools, ponchos, and ammunition magazines have not decreased as some predicted but instead risen due to global conflicts consuming inventory. He covered night vision technology in detail, including first and second generation devices, thermal imaging, proper weapon ergonomics with Picatinny rails, and shooting techniques. Callers shared experiences purchasing surplus military equipment at varying prices, and Mark emphasized the importance of preparedness and voting with one's wallet by purchasing ammunition and supplies while available.

Sex are cults. Quit bashing the little ones just because they don't believe what the majority do. And the same could probably be said in the Flat Earthers' mind that the Globers, that sometimes were called, or the people who believe in the spherical earth, were in our own little cult. So in a way with me bashing the Flat Earthers and calling them a cult, just because they're a minority, and they are definitely a minority. They claim they're bigger than we think they are, but they're not. It's proven to me when I get attacked how many of them really are. It's just a smaller cult. I get upset sometimes when the Branch Davidians, they use that word cult to demonize some religious sect that doesn't follow the norm. I haven't followed exactly what the Branch Davidians believed. It was another branch of Christianity. Their version of the Bible. And they got attacked viciously for it for their beliefs. Remember folks, we all have the right to believe whatever we want to believe. You want to believe in Santa Claus and Easter Bunny and Big Foot and Chemtrails and UFOs and whatever else you want to believe in, you're welcome to believe that. I have no problem with that. But when you post videos on YouTube claiming it to be the truth and you're raking over people's minds for the sake of a little paycheck, I'm going to attack that. I'm going to attack anywhere I see a lie that can easily be demonstrable to be false. That's what I try to do with my channel and with my TV show, my radio show. That's just me. So anyway, we're getting near the end here. The selection is over for now. We'll wait until January to find out who really gets in office. Probably will be Trump, but we're in kind of a possibly a rough ride here. Our country is going down. has been for decades. We'll probably continue to go down with Donald Trump because I believe he's working for the same people that work with, that's working the other ones I should say, working them, whether they're called, whether you put an R in front of their name or a D, Democrat or Republican, their strings are all being pulled, that's my opinion of it. I don't have absolute proof of that. But our country's been going down no matter which of the two are in office for decades. And I suspect it will continue to do so. Let's hope he's not one of them. Let's hope he really is what he says he is, or what he portrays to be. But I'm seriously doubtful of it until I can see some evidence. Otherwise, I'm going to have to assume that he's going to be a problem that brings this country down even more. Maybe even faster than Billory would have. I don't know. Maybe they have plans to use his inexperience and name to show how disastrous things could be going if we don't put in a real politician, whatever that is. A professional liar, rather than one just comes along and starts lying off the spur of the moment. It would have been really interesting and it wouldn't have been much of a race if, for instance, I heard this brought up on one of the Talking Heads shows or somewhere, what if Oprah Winfrey had decided to run instead of Billory? probably wouldn't have been a race there. Probably would have been also win three immediately. Not that she's any better than Trump, but it's a name everybody recognizes. She's a woman and she's black and there you go. Democrat all the way, right? So anyway, forbiddenknowledge.info is the website. The third of TV is the YouTube channel, Wayne. My name is Craig. Thanks everybody for listening. So long. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said, We've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money is spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to this. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seasonally farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors. So their children will need your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land. Preserve our great Republic in each God-given right, and pray to God, keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he'd vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now his tyrants trampled each God-given right. We only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Excuse me, I started losing my voice at the end of the hour, too. Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. This is the evening intelligence report. I'm Mark Kornke. And I'm Don Betcher. One day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters, both on behind the lines in occupied territories west, central, east, and, ladies and gentlemen, you were listening to us on 33radio.4mg.com, Indiana Freedom Talk Radio dot com, and we are on AM and FM micro stations, CBE base stations, and UltraNet Hallmark and Golden Spike technologies. East and west of the Mississippi, along with Alaska. Good afternoon to our friends in the great state of Jefferson. Well Don, it is clear we have more than a half moon, really bright tonight. Still get some work done as soon as I'm done with the program, back outside. What's it like in your neck of the woods? What's the day today? What's jumping off the wall, please? Well, hey, it is the ninth day of Year of Our Lord 2016, and it was a great day. Bright, sunny day. At least half the nation was happy. I don't know about the other half and all those sad clowns, but more on that in a little while. Beautiful day. I can still see a little bit of light at the end, so I touch that slide, and now there's one in the chamber, right? Ready to go. That's a condition one gun, a hot gun. It's my gun. Let's not argue about that. It's my gun. Weapons Wednesday, the perimeter sure does need some attention and you know if you keep pulling the lever on that reloading device that you've acquired, hop off the magazine like I've just done, you can say to yourself there's plenty more where that came from. It looks like you can, well, keep right on applying proper energy where energy is required and certainly needful. For all of our friends out there it is Weapons Wednesday. And of course the objective is to be able to introduce coercive force under our control against the aggressor. As was mentioned by BC over at CenterFireSystems.com, they do have a couple of really good package deals still, a few AR-15 kits, though they really sold down on those. before the election day yesterday, the day of deception. Still moving pretty fast and checking on the lowers, they have complete lowers. I don't know, there's something about the way they wrote that particular thing up. It's a lower receiver, I don't know what's aluminum or polymer, I believe it's an aluminum and it's one of the odd man out companies that sprung up as far as the receiver. The basic receiver itself is one of several done by one of the CNC groups that puts a variety of different names on the lowers. And it's a hell of a hell for $109. No matter what it is, it's ready to roll. And that's a hell of a good price. It is an FFL item because it is a complete receiver. But if you buy one half of the gun one way, you cherry pick whatever part you want for the other, And guys, you're looking at a pretty good price for putting an AR-15 together if you're in a hurry and you want to put more 5-10 guns on the shelf. Is it the prettiest and most sophisticated? Well, pretty is a matter of preference anyway. That's a personal perception thing. But the bottom line is, can I hand five rifles out and get them out there for a pretty good price and the guys don't know what they're doing with them? Like we've said, a lot of military people are going to be showing up. They may not be familiar with much. But they are familiar, very familiar with the M16 pattern rifles so that would behoove you to have a number of them on the shelf ready to be able to serve our people who are helping along with yourselves to defend our liberty. Oh you know. And we need the system in place. Go ahead Don. I could even hand out an M16 type pattern rifle and UNAR-15 with a PVS-2 on it. That would just make somebody's day. Somebody that had trained and served with that. You've given me everything I need done. That's old-school dude. But still very serviceable. Yes. You've given me everything I need done. We have quite a few and we hopefully will be experimenting with some of these Polish handouts that they're moving right now. We might have one in hand here very shortly. I've been wanting to put it on the inventory so that Don can put it on an AK and then we're going to test it out against the, you know, it's a counterpart for the era. If it's anything like its American counterpart, it's still very serviceable, just bigger, but very, very serviceable. In fact, stronger in some ways than the newer equipment. So just heads up on that one. We'll do what we can to find out more. On that note, look outside. It's already dark but we do have a nice moon. Right now I don't turn a flashlight on when I'm outside. Use your natural night vision, adapt accordingly. If you've got a dark spot, having that... well actually I've got a gnome right here in my left pocket. It's one that Don made available many years ago. And this gnome fills in those dark spots. If I see something where I need to look a little deeper, the Ambient Moonlight guys and quote unquote starlight, remember that's why they called it starlight technology, right? Yep. That light allows me to see into those dark spaces without throwing a whole lot of attention up right away. I don't use the illuminator, I just crank up the system, power it up, and then randomly recharge as needed because there's a certain amount of residual activity even after I shut the unit out. So the cool thing is I don't have to run, run, run, run the batteries. It's working for me even if I hit the switch. That's pretty cool. The other thing is again, adapt. Remember, wherever we can save batteries, save power, save running time, save our technology, we want to do that. So we complement our night vision technology that's synthetic with our natural night vision capabilities that always have to be prepared to defend them. In other words, protect them on standby. Eyepatches were one technique that was used for the longest time. dark, dark wraparound type granny infrared sunglasses were actually built so that they are blackout glasses. You don't see those as often because they were a lot more expensive than an eye patch, but they were made. In fact, it's where the idea for these wraparound glasses like you see down in Florida for older people because their eyes are sensitive and they actually cup the eye. They are almost like a goggle, but they are not. They are actually just a really big sunglass. Well, they make those in totally, again, neutral. In other words, they're opaque. They're just plastic cast. And the idea behind these is that you can alternate. They actually have a slide plate that was made for the ones that were made for the military. So you can switch from the left eye to the right eye for shielding. And it was kind of a cool idea, something similar to what they did with nuclear threat defense. Only low, low tech by comparison if you've ever seen the owl eyes that the pilots were wearing. So that in the event of a nuclear flash, literally there was a shielding system that the pilots wear that would literally lock down faster or as quickly as soon as they identified the threat of an illumination. This lensing and actual sinker system would literally cover the eye to protect the eye from the nuclear flash. If you've ever seen them, they look goofy as hell. It looks like you've got a couple of trash can lids on the front of the helmet. Not quite as big as a full trash can lid, but like a home waste basket for your office. Imagine two of those side by side. That's basically what they look like sitting in the front of the helmet, guys. And it was all part of an optic system. So there have been all kinds of solutions for dealing with optical issues. But the basic, your natural night vision is something you need to perfect and utilize wherever possible. This means our equipment will run longer and that's a good thing since we're in for the long haul. Anyway, Don, let's jump off up there in your neck of the woods please. Well, you brought up a point that we haven't touched on in a good long time because well, first generation is kind of disappearing into the history of night vision much like generation You can't buy that anymore unless you buy it used. But we talked about first generation. One of the ways you can distinguish it in green screen, you turn it on, there's only one, perhaps, generation devices that come on almost as soon as you touch the bus. One of them is the device that is powered by the paiseo strip. You press it almost like the grenade lever. You press it and the device comes on and you've powered it with that motion. That's one of the only first generation devices that comes on right away, but it still stays on for a while. Every first generation device, when you turn it off, when you un-power it, you still have an image for a while. This is one of the reasons why, Mark, you've done this. This is one of the reasons why that device still works for you. Because if you turn on your first generation device and you just keep feeding the power to it and feeding the power to it, it's like, well, You know there's about 1500 hours in a first generation tube If you treat it real good you might get 6 or 17, you know, no tail lights, no headlights, no fires, no street lights, you know, no high stress on it. You might get 16 maybe 1700 hours out of it depending on much like Skip used to say, you know, about every 10th rifle that comes down the line is gonna be noticeably better than the other 9. That's one of the reasons why your device is still working, Mark, because you'd power it up and when it had a satisfactory image, you'd turn the power off and as the tube cooled, it would still show you an image. And if need be, you'd turn it back on and bring the image back up to warm, so to speak, and then turn it off again. We haven't brought that to the, thank you for sparking that thought line because there are still plenty of first generation devices out there. And that's one of the ways to help increase the service life of the device. I couldn't help but mention that, Mark. Thank you. Well, actually, I have both your round gnome and the square gnome. And of course, the square gnome is earlier still the rectangular, like a couple packs of cigarettes side by side. Not even quite, well, yeah, about two packs of soft-pack cigarettes. And camel gnome filters, by the way, is what they would be. That neat little unit is very sophisticated guys, but you know what? It works. And the round gnome, of course, a little more collection capability, bigger lens. The first one is in the earlier First generation pattern that was typical for the Euro-Russian equipment and for a lot of the American equipment when it first came out. The second Nome, much larger collection lens and wider perspective and works flawlessly. I can't complain about it at all. Again, using 1, 2, 3 batteries. The batteries have had good life and the equipment, although it's probably about time for me to change this one out again. I do have rechargeables, but I use copper tops. I got a little flurry of copper tops for free here that were part of some camera collection down the street with a gaudy yard sale. And I got a whole bunch of them. I'd really use them. And they actually have been running quite well and servicing quite well. The date on the batteries is out to 2018, so I think I'm in pretty good shape. Anyway, again protect it. I always carry it in the armored case that it came with and make sure that as soon as I'm done I'm religious about protecting the lenses. That's the most important thing. Good equipment, but let's make sure. If it's going to run longer, you've got to follow through on the procedure the way we normally would. Never slough off on that. Go ahead. Do we have a caller? I think so. Who do we have? Mike. Around 1999, a company called Night Owl Optics, a thousand yard range finder. AA batteries and you could see, oh god, you could see quite well at about 150 feet staying and make out the, it was nice. It had a lot of snow, you know the term. And if you monkey with it enough, you probably could mount it somehow, you know, to a rifle or something like that. But it was a monocular, fit right in the shirt pocket. And that was back around 99. And once they went rushing, boys made fun of Russians in the sun. The thing they built was like a brick dog house. think about it, that if you drop it, you drop it in the rice paddy, squish it around in the mud, and the cow doopie, you drop it in the water, it's not a bad thing, especially when it comes to something, the pole is not coming out of the water, it's a good deal. Well, one of the things about the night vision that we've explained time and again is nothing is outdated or obsolete. Even infrared technology, IR, what, Generation Zero. Generation Zero. Works just fine. In most cases, the stuff, especially that, never was run out. I have not run into a piece that has been burned or has had an image fried onto, for instance, the tubes or where it's just been sitting in one place and just run to the point where it just fizzled out. None of that technology, in fact I think part of the reason is because it was so stinking expensive back in the day. From a military perspective, the idea is save it and don't run it just like we're saying. Don't run it any farther than you have to because you might have to use it in battle and so hold back on using it for training. And that's exactly what happened. Everybody conserved it, protected it. I think the driving units got more business than the rifle sites did. The driving literally goggles. Do you remember these rectangular packs? There's a number of different patterns that were tested. Some that were XM, some that were final made standard. And they probably got more mileage simply because there was more of an excuse to use them. And even there, remember the vehicles, M48s, the M80 series of APCs, all the other different armored vehicles had IR lens systems on board. They were actually integrated into the wiring lighting system so that all you had to do is put the headset on and the light was provided all around you. You hit a switch and all your IR technology would come on, all your lighting would come on, and then of course your other vehicles would be using it. And it was for motion movement purposes to begin with, and mostly in convoy. Not so much, although it was available for cross country use. More than anything it allowed for or afforded greater speed in convoy with greater visibility, as opposed to full blackout lighting. So that was the big reason it was like a pathfinder vehicle would have the lights on. The others might keep everything shut off but still have their night vision, you know, they're frigging me, their generation zero technology mounted on their helmet and they would be traveling at a better speed, more reliably able to maneuver if there was a problem. And could always hit the switch and provide IR illumination as needed virtually from the whole vehicle. depending on what it was. You might notice there's like spider eyes in the front of the vehicle. You had conventional white and you had infrared lens sealed systems that were secondary, that were part of the lighting system. Still not a bad idea. It's like I said, every once in a while a pile of that glass comes out. If you get a chance and you see it for a dollar or so per lens, grab it. You can make a boot, if it doesn't have one with it, you make a boot and translate that over with these new LED lights, even though I know you can get those in infrared, I know that. But what's really cool is the intensity, the amount of energy you can generate with these other systems and be that much more effective in the field with regard to illuminating an area. So you can adapt it to the stuff that typically isn't being adapted over to IR. The infrared LEDs are usually in particular output in terms of energy and they're limited. But there's a lot of other brighter LED technology that if you combine it with the glass lens in a booting system so you don't have any light leakage. Guys, these things would just blare. They would just flame the battlefield, which is something that we can use every once in a while, something that's needful. So just an idea, plenty of seed. You want to do research? Maybe you've got a surplus store that's over in Missouri or up in Maine or that's an older one. Well, he's got stacks of those things. If anybody does run into a situation like that, please drop us a line ASAP. If you run into big stacks and crate something, the guy's like, you've got hundreds of them and I don't know what I'm going to do with them. I'm thinking of throwing them out. Well, we need to know about that before they get tossed out because that's a needful thing. We will purchase all of them. Okay? And I don't care if they're, you know, three inch, five inch or 12 inch because they made them for the spot lights too. I'd be happy with all of the above. It just happens stuff gets flying around and small arms fire especially, well anything like that, it will probably, unfortunately it will find you. It will find you, it will find your equipment. Anyway, before we go any farther, and we owe it right at the bottom, good timing on this one. Don, since we're talking about night vision technology and look outside guys, it is dark. How can we get hold of the web page? How do we need to operate it? How do we make it work for us? And what do we have available? Go ahead please. Well, since we're talking about first generation, you know, I don't think right now unless again, you saw, you know, a hidey hole or a stash or something someplace would say, you know, there's a first generation tube inside every second, third and fourth generation device. And that's where, well, most of my sources, first generation tubes are still out there and, or maybe at the, something cause you'll find them there every now and then. But, and if you do, that's not better than the digital right now, as far as for entry level. only it's purpose built. It's built for the nighttime. It's not exactly as daytime friendly as the digital. We've talked about being able to use the digital the daytime then into the dark or from the dark when it's almost to when it's too dark really use the digital unless you want to turn on the illuminator but being able to use it from the dark into the daytime you can't do that with the green screen. When you look over to the green screen, you're going to get better performance in low light than the digital, be it second, third, or even fourth generation. And when we talk about fourth generation, you guys were in the ballpark, as far as money, of some of the big and, uh, about the United States military shifting over from green screen on the individual boot to, uh, thermal. And that'll happen and it'll, it'll be, you know, a little thing, then it'll get it, that unit'll get it. And eventually most of, uh, Sam's people will have thermal instead of green screen. That doesn't mean that the green screen is worthless. You've talked about this many times Mark. The green screen you got on TV with the green screen, you can't do that with thermal. I could read the numbers on the side of the truck. The rank on the camouflage uniform, probably aren't going to do that with thermal. But you'll get good detail. The thermal detail has come up tremendously in the last while. The entry level for you guys It has a, it's one and a half power, high power, and one and a half power, you can focus it as close as your feet. You can focus it as close as, well, your knee and your foot on your knee. Close, you're looking at the knit lines in your sock. You know what I mean? Find the thermal image has become as of late. Be looking, now that's reading the thermal gradient there across the sock, you guys. That's tremendous. But it's not going to, if you're sitting in a car, it's not going to see the other side of the glass for a handheld piece of thermal. That's not going to happen. Well, again, each of these devices has its own abilities where it excels compared to the other. As far as teamwork or whatnot, depending on the right combination, we've talked about this, you guys. A piece of green screen and a piece of thermal combined together, that's a tremendous team because the thermal will see things that the green screen won't and the green screen will see things that the thermal won't. We've talked about this. But if you want to see parts, go over to the website, that's ydpoe.us. Again, ydpoe.us. If you have any questions about Well, what will the thermal do compared to this or the digital compared to that or across the board? What is the real price? It's one of the reasons why we give you the number because I can't advertise for less than what you see there and still keep my source. They're trying to bring uniformity to the industry. We've talked about that before. If you call me, we can do a deal over the phone and I can reduce the price that you see there. If you want to do the deal over the Internet, you can enter that code into the website. It will take the reduced price. That's why we give you the number because again, I'd like to see cheaper prices there than what you see at the website. If you want to see cheaper prices, just give me a call and you'll see the cheaper price when you enter the code. We will have come to an agreement before that. How about this is much better than that, isn't it? Website YDTOEUS. Phone number? Two, three, one, seven, nine, six, five, eight. 2, 3, 1, 7, 9, 6, Y, D, P, O, and again, while you're dealing with a stranger when Don Betcher is available, guys. On that note, too, again, a lot of your pistols and a lot of your weapons across the board now are pretty well rail crazy. Even your handguns, most of them coming out right now, if you look at, like, SIG, If you look at any of the new, even the Glocks of course will offer it. You've got small rail points underneath the front chin of the frame just beyond the trigger guard. You may also find rails in other locations on the weapon depending on how big the frame is. They're even playing around a lot of neat stuff with the Desert Eagles, the big, big beasts. Again, I think they're out of production again because the company is, you know, that production has changed hands. But, un-rifles, You can stack rails on rails. We've always joked about that. But for instance, looking at the G36s and a lot of the other weapons with the way they're set up, you have ample opportunity to come up with solutions, and especially with solutions that will not interfere with each other. That is the advantage of the clock system they've set up, where you have a rail on the bottom at the 6 o'clock, a rail on top, which is typically where you find your weapon sights. And then two other rails at three o'clock at nine for optics or lighting or something else, lasers, whatever you want. They can be on the bottom. They can be on the side. It's a personal flavor thing. Different people, different ideas. Also, how your body works and reaches things. Which is always a consideration we've talked about. Just because somebody does something a certain way, you trying to mimic it may not benefit you because you can't reach as far. You have to remember that by having these long picatinny rails on the system, they're able to adjust it ergonomically to the shooter so it fits the shooter. This is also true with regard to eye relief. A lot of the heads up sighting systems, people require that sight laying at different points based upon headrest, neck length, all these other things and a lot of the guns amazingly are for quite accommodating. You know the SCAR has length and height adjustment, of course also as a folding stock, but many of the weapons mimic this. The Italians have come up with variations on the theme. Needless to say, Steyer has got a bunch of other new rifles that of course like HK, you can't own them because they're only for the government. But if you take a look, you'll see the same basic features to allow for proper support so that the shooter is not straining. When you strain, and this is where if you're using night vision, if you have a certain weapon system, we've talked about using cooperative supports. They were already built. Back in World War II, they made the M1D sniper cheekwet rests. Well, they lapped onto anything. They're made out of leather. They lash onto the gun, and they're adjustable. So I've put those things on almost every existing military firearm where we've adapted night vision or mostly where we've adapted conventional optics but because of the size of the optics they're comparable in scale and dimension to what you see with the night vision technology. And the thermal being a little bigger still again would be accommodated. However the big thing is that if you're going to be using it day or night the optics you need to be again in that niche where all the different components that are supporting the weapons platform, your arms, your torso, They are not stretched or overstretched. There is a balancing point where you can reach too far or you can crunch up and not reach far enough. There is a balance set. There is an optimal centering point. Now there are some techniques. I was taught them years ago and I can still do it. What we call the crunch and scrunch with the 03 Springfield. It is almost like the front foregrip does not even exist. The technique is interesting. It was quite successful back in the day, but other techniques were argued in favor of and were perfected. We've gone back and forth with different ideas there. But with optics, there's really not a change. If you're straining, remember, what are you doing? Your muscle is working. Now, let's think about what we're doing when we're shooting. Day or night, we have to breathe. BOOBEES, my tasty friend! BOOBEES! As the big burly guy with the beard smacks you on the back and it looks like all three of you are in the sauna but you're actually in a whole cough drop commercial. Hey, wait a minute! Well anyway, we're not a cough drop commercial but we are going to have to breathe. And because of that, again remember that three breaths. The first, the second, the third, I'm halfway out and then I act like I'm crying and I tell you that my kid was killed at Sandy Hook. Oh God, I did it again. I went and did something else. Well, it's the same technique. What you see actors use, shooters have used for as long as they've perfected the art. and it works the same way. What you're doing is you're oxygenating the body, you get it to that third breath, and then you go into action. With that half breath let out, you've already oxygenated the system. With that half breath left out, you still have a little bit of control. You're not straining even your lungs. There's still oxygen there. Your body has oxygen to work with. But if you're having to stretch your neck and hold your chin up in an odd place, or if you're having to work that arm farther out because somebody said, no, no, no, put it way out that, well, see, the problem is your arms may be a little shorter than my arms. We need to find where you get the same conceptual application, just like Mark has, but based upon your dimensions and your musculature. So you're mimicking, but you don't directly apply the same way to the same points that I do, that energy. And especially with regard to the neck, and remember, first of all, your neck muscles are not as developed. Unless you are a very, very guy and you're doing lots of push-ups and lots of sit-ups and lots of weight lifting, chances are your neck's an average neck. And you're not doing a whole lot of weight work with it. Well, because of that, it's not built. It's not stabilized or supported in the same way. It's not dense. And so here we rest and we have a cheek weld. We make sure our shoulder weld is correct. Site alignment based on the idea of where we rest the cheek is always supportive. Always remember that guys. So we need to be cooperative in that respect with regard to all the components. Also remember we're a gun platform. If we overstress there, our muscles start eating oxygen. Well, the quicker they eat oxygen, the less time you have to be able to acquire and rest on target. And in some cases, people then start to overstress and overreact and they try to hold on a target they can't. And you've wasted all of that time trying to acquire and engage when you actually have to rebreathe and re-oxygenate and start all over again. Well, it only takes seconds, but remember in this case, you're hunting people who are probably hunting you. It might be a good idea to hit them first and not give them a chance to apply their energy. Just a little heads up on that one. So again, where you engineer the technology accordingly, these Picatinny rails are really cool because there's all kinds of other stuff we can do with them. On a lot of the different equipment, they're metal rails, even though the gun may be polymer, and polymer in terms of the frame. But amazingly enough, the lion's share are a metal rail, and so they can be applied to a lot of other projects or to a lot of other, again, R&D. wreckage and stuff that people take off of equipment and say, what are you going to do with the old one? I'm just going to toss it out. Can I have it? Oh, sure. Well, you make up rail systems or have spare parts on the shelf. Now when you want to do some research, you've got something to work with, which is kind of cool. So that's what we're endeavoring to move towards to support Don in more of the research and development that progressively we're going to be going through the rest of this year. and we've done just that and you're going to see a lot of that in the up and coming next set of videos on night vision. So again be prepared and on thermal of course too. Real quick again, somebody's asking where was that lower? It's CenterFireSystems.com again for Robert and Hal. It's CenterFireSystems.com. Hold on here, I gotta switch over. I just got another message. Yeah, that Center Fire Systems, BC brought that up during the two hour block. It is at CenterFireSystems.com. I believe it's $109. And they've got specials on shipping, but I didn't look at the header to see what they have right now. They might even have a really good price going, something unique, and you might want to check it out. So again, they typically do with a dollar amount rather than a weight factor or certain items. Over at ApexGunParts.com, they have, though they've come up about a dollar in price per unit, even in the quantity price, it's a dollar more for the quantity price than it was the last time I told you to go there. But the Steel Setme L mags, the 223 mags, are still the best price right now in the country. They are a military magazine. They are steel. They are used but they are in pretty good shape. The guys that got them said they like them. They are not right home about. They are just a regular military 223 30 round magazine. They are well made and they were made for military for the Spanish so they were meant to last and they had to get it right or somebody would find them and put their arse in jail hopefully. But anyway, that's at ApexGunParts.com. ApexGunParts.com. Now they also have the Set Me 308 kits again. They ran out of them. It shows that they have them back in stock for about $299 a piece. This has trigger groups, magazines, small parts, armorers, tools. a complete set of wood, replacement stocks, rods, you name it, main springs, it's just a pile of stuff. Take a look at the basic kit that they are describing. and check to see if that's right for you but if you have a HK or a Setme collection this is a nice little batch of stuff to have especially if you have a bunch of the Setmes that you put together that are in .308 and you've been looking for more parts that are Setme specific parts. The neat thing is the trigger groups, brand new trigger groups whole piles of other stuff too numerous to mention and it varies depending upon the kit that's one thing they did mention but the basic armor tools are there that are designed for supporting the rifle etc etc it comes in a wooden carry transport case so this is all modular it's all separated and definitely definitely worthwhile So, $2.99 right now on sale. I don't know how long it's going to last. I don't know if it's already ended. You have to double check that because they have these odd dates. It works. Today is Wednesday. I don't believe it was an election special, but it might have been. So congratulations. Go that way. And again, that's apexgunparts.com. We've got a caller. Who do we have? Yeah, Georgetown, Texas. I was listening on a local radio show post-election. a gun maker on the radio show and he sat there and goes, hypothetically, he was given the office and it's like he said, you know, you're going to see the demand of firearms go down and demand for ammunition and he was saying you're going to see a significant drop in price in ammunition and weapons and he said that's the best time to start because the demand goes to start to go down. Well, in theory, if it holds together long enough, there will be a slope cycle down some, but here's the problem. His logic is based on the idea that there would be available inventory to replace it with. My problem with this is looking at ammunition inventory, the 545x39 ammo that of course they have been blocking anyway, but it's being eaten up in three different hot wars. I mean they're aggressive hot wars. I don't know how much material has been consumed that probably would have ended up here that's just been used up in the Ukraine war alone. There are three things. Let me give you an example in surplus, not just in firearms. Go out and try to buy a cheap poncho. I don't mean a cheaply made poncho. Go to see if you can find one of those $5 ponchos like I kept pointing you guys to. Remember? Try and find one. In fact, the big deal right now with all the surplus data, there are two things they've got. They've got a knockoff South American, I think they're Brazilian camouflage poncho which looks like it's some kind of desert pattern. They actually would work well in Michigan fall. Any Browns or Cams work for Michigan fall and into the winter. The other one are the Swiss ponchos in the alpine flash with the red. They're not $2 a piece when I told you guys to buy them for $2 a piece, remember? Now the minimum price is $12. Why? Because there's nothing in the system that anybody is able to buy. They're going to the wars. They're going to the Middle East. They're going to Asia. Everybody forgets there's activity over there in the Philippines and other places. And then they're going into the Ukraine. Another one is entrenching tools. Try to find a cheap, real entrenching tool. You know what? I had a guy tell me he's one of the oldest men I know in surplus. He goes, you know, Mark? Everybody thought that we would never, in their mind, nobody believed they could ever run out of entrenching tools. But it's a reality. So there's an example. Prices have not gone down. In fact, prices are going stupid in the other direction. To be quite honest, I won't pay the prices for the... And a lot of them now, here's the thing. They're even making Chinese copies of the Swiss stuff to look like the Swiss surplus. Most of you don't even know that, but they're actually offering, oh they're making a copy of the Swiss entrenching tool, but it's not the Swiss entrenching tool, I just want to make it Chinese and say it's sent. Oh no, because that way they can throw it out there and everybody thinks, oh I'm getting a Swiss e-tool. It's a replica. It's a replica. Mark, you know the thing is, last night one of the, I think one or two of the people walked out of the Tabulation Center and quit county and they just sat there and said, I'm not going to get my ass shot off for a bunch of angry people. And the only person they're worried about is that person sitting at that chair. So three or four of them are like in the foreground near the person and acting like they're just having a conversation. But what they're doing is blocking the person's view of the ballot boxes being stuffed. And all the rest of the pigs there were in on it. So you've got one person and then they watch and what are you guys doing over there? Oh, you bugger! I'm not going to be part of this. I'm not going to get caught in this. And so they get up and they walk away. Well, they don't mind that. I mean in reality except if somebody actually talks about it like we just heard because that gets rid of the one person they had to hide stuff from. They get rid of the one or two people that really were there for serious reasons. They actually were being honest. Well, the ones that hate you and me guys and everybody else in this country, and they believe in their version of democracy which is stuffing the ballot boxes, well they like it when everybody walks away. That's the thing. And I understand the concern because yeah, people find out. I can't see us mobbing them. It's not going to happen. We'd be more likely to be like, hey, were you involved in this? Well, let me tell you, I didn't do anything, but I got the hell out of there. Oh, so you'd like to be a witness. Yeah, I didn't have anything to do with that. I hate these buggers. It was an insult. And so that's how you're going to find out what's really going on, is somebody like that stepping forward. Well, but the thing is, too, looking at the Hillary victory party, man, it looked like a wake. Well, that's the whole point. That only poses the question, George. I wonder if the Chinese are going to give her her money back on the fireworks. Yeah. I can't go to fireworks. You can't send me. Listen round I will we always pay enough money for you and now you worthless You better pay for fireworks and we put them up your butt at night them You know what we do to remember we dick to Harry Reid look at his face We do same thing to you we tell him you have weightlifting incident only problem is you have bumhole all burned out You better pay for the fireworks round I Can you picture that I can I you know the mother You know today to Obama and Lee's office I wanted to sit there and replay that clip on John Stewart saying, I'm coming for the guns. I'm sure you are. But you know what? There's a bunch waiting for you to come. Why don't you try it? You know? Hey, we got another caller. Hold on. Who else do we have? Go ahead. Hey, Mark. I just wanted to let you know I got an entrench until a few weeks ago. The Ames, it's Ames folder with the cover for, I had to pay 20 bucks for it. I've seen US The Woodland Camo Panchos, they're 25 now. I bought a, I think it's a M17 gas mask. It has the flat filters. The chip on cheeks. It came with a set in there. It came with an extra set in the bag and they threw in an extra set for 20 bucks. Oh, that's a good bag, man. I threw that one in my vehicle just to have one handy. I have an M40 with several, like a half a dozen filters I think. The M40 cost me a little bit more, but M40s are going for $50 now with one filter. I know I probably should have bought another M40, but that doesn't sound like that. That's not a bad price for an M40 to be quite honest. Oh really? $50 a piece? Where are you getting them for those? Here at a local gun show. That's not a bad price because they've been staying at about $90 to $100 on an average. So that's actually a pretty good price. Well they are huge. I mean you may have come down even a little bit because there are a few more of them that are actually out there in circulation. And remember Granger of all places, that's why I tell everybody check these industrial sites. Grainger had M40s that they were selling out on sale because they bought a ton of them as personal protection equipment and these were brand new military issue standard grade and they had the best price in the country on them. So you never know where you're going to run into them. But the 40 is a good bill. It's a present mask. You're going to see tons of them out there. It's a well built mask. It's fresher. I mean let's put it this way. Anything that's newer is nice. But the M17 will work just fine. The M17 just understands it takes time to change out those filters. So if you're going to be changing them out, you either have to be secure or you have another mask. But you have the spare filters and that's half the battle. Yeah, they're not NBC filters. He said they were just the regular filters. But I figured that's probably good enough for, you know, just keep my pickup. And like I said, the M40 is going to be my main mask. All filters work for radiological number one. All filters work for all low chemical. As far as biological, well, some they will, some they won't, despite the fact that they may not have the neutralizing agent applicator. our application, forgive me, but you can get replacement filters even for the M17s that are full bio range. It's a matter of paying price and again, check Grainger's out because you see they offered a lot of this stuff and they've got an awfully big catalog so you never know from one month to the next what they're going to have on inventory. So if you really wanted super fresh, that's another way to go. Otherwise, the real quick thing, the reason I brought up the eTools is like the ammunition, like George was talking about here, the ammunition and the mags and everything else. Guys, look at the price of AK mags. Think about what you guys paid for your AK mags three years ago. Take a look at the average price right now. It's not coming down. In fact, that's the one thing about AK stuff. It is crept up progressively and even though there's lots of them on the planet, The problem is, the lots of them that are on the planet, a good chunk of them are right now killing each other. You know, they're in wars shooting at each other. In fact, more so than our M16 in many ways right now. Yeah, and the reason they're not coming back down is because the cheap, cheap inventory and our dollar exchange have changed. Remember those $60 and $80 cans? A 545 by $39. I told everybody to buy them. Hell, for a short time there, you could buy a whole case for $80, $82. The other thing is, hey, they figured out that we'll pay this much for it. Why stop? Yeah, exactly. Why sell it for less? Well, we're going to get past that. Most important is, again, vote with your wallet, buy more ammunition as part of the celebration. When anybody asks, why are you doing that? Why, I'm celebrating. Everything that I'm celebrating, I'm going to vote, celebrate, and be happy by buying more of what I need. and putting it on the shelf because it ain't getting any cheaper and I don't see any relief on the horizon. And for everybody out there again, stay focused, pay attention to what's going on. Don't be surprised, don't get caught flat-footed. God bless the Republic. Death put the new world order. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen, the Empire is on the run, but we are on the march both day and night. Hoorah! Take him to the flat, beat him down hard, don't let him get back up and remember, When the time comes, ooh, get that magazine back. Where it belongs, there we go. Everybody out there, we get a lot of work to do. Stay organized, stay prepped. Don, you're number one night vision webpage, guys. He's gonna be available in just a minute so you can call. Go ahead, Don. Thank you, Mark Kay. The phone number is 231-796-8458. Again, 231-796. You'll need that when you go over to the website. That'll help you reduce the prices. You'll see over at the website, you know, ydkoe.us. Thank you Mark, God bless you God bless you America
