The other night that while I didn't understand, a figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat and speaking low to me, he said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost. You're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free, the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to this. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seasonally farm. You keep our country, you put men of God in jail, harass your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children can be Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, Preserve our great republic and each god given right. And pray to god to torture freedom burning bright. As I awoke he'd vanished in the mist for once he came. His words were true, I'd free. But we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trampled each god given right. We only watch and tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. He stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep. What would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Well, the plan to the floor... Intelligence report time are quirky. Answer to victory for all brothers and men behind the lines in occupied territories on an AM and FM micro station, CB base stations, and UltraNet hallmark and golden spike technologies with a afternoon to the Aleutian and to our friends weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee out there in Marianas. Hey, you guys have some freedom going on. Quick on that one. Remember, the Marianas is where that federal judge kind of warned everybody in the country about the go around. This is what old Bummer was planning on doing. All of the anti-gun stuff, all the bans, all the extreme taxes. Guys, he implemented them in the territory of Northern Marianas. I believe Northern, I think it was the Northern Marianas. federal system that's not under the state system that's under the fed door we're talking about but not everybody had caught on to read the actual back story of what was going on with that turns out that we're not for that court ruling a lot of people didn't catch on to what they had administratively enacted at the federal level anyway today's date well it's Wednesday it is weapons Wednesday it is the 12th October is the 8th year of open Fabian Socialist and Soviet Socialist occupation of America with a K 2016, old earth calendar, 2016 year of battle, year of most assuredly. And again look at the weather, well that weather was whirling around us, apparently I said shut off the electronic, shut off the generator. Now it might be heading towards us again. We'll see what happens. It's amazing. I said something on the air. All day it just goes around and around and around. So they shut the radiation off. We'll check to see what our meters say because we have our frequency counters watching me. Yeah, oh, you didn't think we knew about that. That's why you don't sleep in the same place very often, but let them think that nothing has changed. Yeah. Anyway, it is a beautiful Wednesday, Weapons Wednesday, face plasma rifle, fold you out to range, who's eating 9mm carbine. I should not say a word about this. In fact, I'm gonna just put it this way. As soon as I get done with the program, I'm gonna place an order. But for those of you who are looking for a few deals if you use the ACU uniform, let's see what size you have left, whoa! If you guys use the air or if you want some nice clothes to wear, here you go, and you want some camouflage camouflage camouflagey, okay? They have Rothko ACU camo BDU shirts for $6.50 a piece. The smalls, that's not a bad price, but the big big saving is on the extra extra large. You've got extra extra large shirts, four pocket, standard BDU cut for $6.50, brand new. These are in the wrapper. I've picked up a lot of these over the years, but for $6.50, again, I always watch for this kind of clearance. They put them back on clearance for $6.50, and that is at airrattle.com. Airrattle.com. When you get to Airrattle, over on the right side of the black header, it says deals and steals. And there's a couple pages worth of stuff. Take a look at what might be useful there. But they have the uniforms are standard. This is Rothko, standard surplus. Go to your surplus stores. You'll see this Rothko stuff at Harry's Army Surplus. Mid-lapse, Navy, Army, Navy, whatever. And for 650 at top, they don't have any bottoms. They just have tops. Again, this is why you have to say before you have to cherry pick. You have to go from one section to the next and you find some things here and some things there. If you like ACU, maybe you don't use ACU. I understand that. Might as well as a wearable shirt. 650 is not bad anyway for a double X. You can buy the double X if you're like a large and extra large and make that into a field jacket. More on that in a little bit. Well, actually it's pretty straightforward and simple to understand. They also have a digital camel woodwind. Oh, I missed that. see what sizes they have. Well they don't say what size. That's kind of interesting. They do have, okay, in stock, Rothwell Co., Woodland Digital Camel, BDU shirt. They don't say what size. Wait a minute, let me look down below. BDU shirt, polyester, wooden digital, cotton polyester, four button pockets. I have to call them. They don't have a listing, but they do show that they still have for eight dollars a piece The Woodland Digital Camo, which is in the green-brown range, how that works, and it's digital, so match up with a lot of your other digital junk, if that's where you went, was towards Woodland Digital. Or Marpat, which I really don't care, mix them up, mix and match, it'll work just fine. Knee pads for $4, there are gloves for $2. But one of the things they do have is a Cytac hard shell T24-7 magazine pouch. This is a paddle mag pouch that goes in the belt, carries two staggered mag Beretta, Smith, whatever you got, Glock, and they're $2 apiece. Yeah, this is the same company that makes them for everybody else. It's the same. They're just a hard shell that casts plastic. $2 apiece, hell, for $2, wear them until they break and grab another one off the shelf. These are an assemble hard plastic. The paddle slip behind the belt into the pant. The pouches themselves sit outside on front of the belt. The pocket cups, these are the type of snuggies. They hold the mags in place. All you do is grab the mag and put it in. You introduce the mag and you're done. Holster belt clips available for replacements for the unit, which is rather interesting for $2. So if you want the other spare parts, you can buy the whole darn thing for $2, and you can buy the spare parts for $2. So there's an idea. They do have a number of other insignia, for instance, medic insignia marked down. They've got, let's see, let me go to the first page. There's a number of items. And again, I'm bringing this up because this is like a second wave sale for what little we got left. TSD tactical, full airsoft, safety goggles, $1.25, markdown from $12. They do have a couple of assault vests, tactical plate carriers, good enough for rubber baby buggy bumpers. There are some mags, you'll have to take a look at that and see if it's anything used for airsoft. Tactical Expedition Gun Cleaning Kit Black, they had one cheaper but they've got one for $19.30 right now. They do have the tactical Tacklite long sleeve shirts. These are in the Realtree Extra, which I do like the pattern. In fact, every time I try to find it, they usually sell out. Unfortunately, these are in medium. I don't wear medium, but maybe you do. And maybe you also use Realtree. So if you do, there you go, guys. So if you're a medium and you use Realtree, there is a solution for you. It will work out pretty well and it's $8 a shirt which is pretty decent. And it is a long sleeve shirt in standard two pocket cut just to give you a heads up on that one. Otherwise nothing else is screaming off the page but I wanted to bring those up because that's a little sale that may not last for very long. But for as long as it lasts, you might want to take advantage of it. I'm going to look real quick and see if any of the other tactical gear is marked down. They work. They're selling real cheap chem suits on Amazon. You can buy one for $11.81 right now. Right, but now remember, I don't know which one you're looking at, but go over to Maine Military and take a look at what his prices are on the chem suits right now. They're not that bad. Maine Military. Maine Military dot com. Go over to MAINE, like the state. Maine Military. You might be heading towards it even as we speak. Maine Military. Oh, they had a little typo. They got some $200 a pair of gloves. I don't think I'll be buying those. But I don't think they're $200 or $2 a pair just as a heads up. In the chem suits, what size do you need? I'm embarrassed to tell you. Let's just say it's like a wear and a plump tent. A big one. You need a big size. Yeah, it's just a 5. I'm not sure it's just 5X, I'm afraid. 1X, 2X? Do you think 5X? No, about a 4. I'm pretty big. It's about a 4. 3 or 4X, okay. Well, I'll tell you why I bring that up. Let me point something out to you. Rothko has a sales section, okay? Rothko, that I just mentioned, rothko.com. Now, they're a wholesaler, but they do sell, you know, if you were willing to buy a chunk of stuff that anybody can buy from them, here's why I recommend them. They carry size 3, size 4, and size 5 as regular sizes, okay? and they are most likely to have sales on those sizes. Let me give you an example. A couple years ago, I bought every one of my goods. They had bomber jackets in woodland camo for $5 a piece in 4 and 5X. You couldn't buy the material for $5. Okay. This one on Amazon is $11.81, 5X, full chem suit. Oh, it's a 5X? Well, yeah, is it an American? If it's that big, it's probably an American. It could be an American set, probably not your old. Yeah, but it's bright yellow. I mean, I don't want a bright yellow one. I'm too damn bright. I'm looking for something. Well, that may not be a chem suit. That may be a rad suit. Radiological suit. Is it yellow? What's the material? Is it Tyvex or is it neoprene? It's not Tyvex. Tyvex. Well, it's a combination. It's a decontamination suit, but it could also be considered a radiological defense suit too. Yeah, I just got my mask in from healthmet.com. A full military gas mask. I just opened the box. It's pretty cool. Good. Okay. So now I've got to get that suit, you know. Well, again, one of the things to think about is, and I'm telling you like I said before, rain suits will work just as well. Okay. A rain suit will work as a chem suit. If you take a look at the check, the only difference is whether or not it's powdered and again you have to, it needs to be, you need to make sure that you have where there's a seam point, it needs to be sealed. Well, the trick there with rain suits is Mr. Duct Tape is your friend. Right. Okay, that's how it works. Traditionally, it's what's been done. The one reason, again, temporarily, a regular poncho, since you're a big guy. See, I've got a lot of big guys. I mean, they're like 6'11 and 7' tall, and they need 4 and 5X because of just height and girth, because proportionally, they're big. I mean, big. I've always said if they hit the ground, being almost 7 foot tall and proportional, man, I will try to move you, but by God I'm going to need help. If you get hurt, these guys are pretty confident with their weapons, and they can carry stuff I can't. Well, they can carry stuff I can carry it, but I can't carry it the way they can. Know what I mean? When you're bigger like that. I understand dimensionally it can be other issues, but Rothko for the clothing, you want to check them every once in a while in their sales and clearance section. Now I will say something else, if I'd known this sooner because I lost track of a company, I have contact with one of the companies that makes all the BDUs inside the US. It's one of the biggest manufacturers. And it's still an American company, and they make them in the US. They have clearance specials where they go all the way up to 5x and all the way down to extra extra small and they offer package deals and they had some really phenomenal package deals if you were willing to take a hundred pieces it was like three dollars a top and then like 350 a bottom and you know 350 for a shirt you know a battle blouse you know three dollars but you take a wide range of sizes now I don't have a problem with doing that because you see for instance you could use the big sizes and they're nice comfortable clothes. You see the other thing is like it's like big guys with boots. For the longest time a lot of guys have to go to big and tall to get anything you want that you need. And shoes even. You know if you wear a 16 or an 18, I've got guys who wear 18s, okay. I used to get them shoes for $5 and boots for $5 a pair all day. One of the wholesalers, that's what his niche was, was military surplus, US Army surplus boots and shoes. and he would always have these extra large sizes for nothing because only a handful of people wanted them and he had tons of this stuff coming in so he needed to move it out. So I would get big boots like that for combat boots, real US military combat boots, size 16, 17 and 18 for $5 a pair. Now there's still deals like that out there but we just got to find out who's doing it now. That's what I need to find. And some of these companies, they have recently, the guys that have been doing it for decades, here's what happens. Dad has been doing it for 40 years and the kids counted on Dad to keep doing it for them. Now the kids have taken over and one of those companies just got run into the ground because they had been paid attention, they had no clue how things worked and they just let it fall. just mismanaged it into the ground. And Dad had been doing it for 40 years and all the information, the contacts were there, they just didn't know how to deal with people. So that's the problem. People get old, people pass away. We've still got the rope lady out there. She's one of these specialists for ropes. Anything, string to ship ropes that are three inches in diameter. She has it. Everything. Warehouses fold. And she knows the whole inventory. But she's a one of a kind person. If anything ever happened to her, I don't know where that part of the industry would go. So, that's everybody assumes that there's like these legions of people and they'll... But then they find out there's this crazy lady. She's got cats and she does rope. She loves cats and she lets them play with string and rope, you know? But she has warehouses full of rope. And everybody goes to her and they go, she's going to Strange. Yeah, but she always has what you need. You see? And then when Strange disappears, there's nobody out there who was willing to pick up the distance on that. And that's how whole parts of the industry just go flat. And that's what's been happening here, guys. It's happening in a lot of areas. Machining, repair, manufacturing, you name it. Once that last guy dies, there's nobody there to replace that last guy that was willing to do it right. Hello? Go ahead, caller. Jump in there. Hey Mark, this is Young, this is Towne from Northern Michigan. Hey, Tom, what's going on up there, sir? It's raining and cold. Well, thank goodness, that's Michigan! Yep, I know. It was in the 60s day and signing out, it's like raining and like in the 40s. Well, we've not gotten that yet, so don't let it go. But remember, we're down in the bottom land here. We'll get it last, but we get it. We're going to get it full force. Yeah. Anyways, I'm calling. I was shooting guns a few weeks ago, and I had this .308. I had work done. I shot it, and now there's a bullet jammed in the chamber. How would I... I tried using gun rods, jamming it down and getting it out and it's not coming out. Okay, you got a projectile in the barrel? Yes. What caliber is it first of all? 30 caliber. I'm sorry you said that. It's 30 caliber. Okay. Is it a bolt gun or some automatic firearm? Bolt. Good. semi's more of a trouble. Well, because there was a Mauser, then whoever had it turned it into a .308 and when they did that, they didn't chamber it right. I had to have it chambered right. And I fired a couple boxes of like the Winchester or Remington or what the, a name brand. And I went to fire this Russian, I think Russian or U-roll lobby. That's what's jamming it. Okay, well hold on. That may be the load. No, if you've already fired ammunition through the gun and it's worked, that's not the chamber of the weapon. That's something else with the ammo. It's a good thing you called anyway. Number one, we're going to need information on what ammunition that is, okay? If you were firing other factory ammo and it worked fine, it should work fine with whatever else is in .308. So if you have a bullet in the tube, that means something's wrong with that load. Something I was curious about was going to ask you what kind of ammo but now we know it's a factory Russian steel case, right? Russian uses probably something over in that meeting with M62x51A or whatever. Was it a steel case round? I believe so. Okay, brown steel case or zinc? What was the color? You've got more of the ammo, don't you? Yeah, yeah, it was uh, okay. Don't leave it. You don't have to guess here's the thing You need to round up one of those we need to know more about it. Don't don't put any more in your gun Let's let's settle with my gun right I know when you can't until the bullets stack up to the point where she just don't load anymore And then there's real embarrassment sometimes. Yeah, then you go It's amazing how much the gun could actually probably put up with in the way of abuse, but we're not gonna do that now uh... the thing is rather than ruining any of your aluminum rods but you're gonna probably end up having to go to the hardware and get yourself a less than thirty caliber or just right at thirty caliber either steel rod or brass rod and you're gonna have to have the how far how far is it down the barrel from the chamber from throw to the chamber it's at the very end in there as you can act i'd fired off in the in there No, okay, like okay, you mean it's just sitting right beyond the chamber like just went into the end of the barrel and stopped Yeah, and it fired off. It won't even when I went to pull a bolt back. It wouldn't fly out like they usually do Well, that sounds like okay was there a primer pop or was there it was there a charge or anything? Or did it just go did it just go pop or did it do the usual kaboom? It did the usual kaboom. I hate a laptop. I don't use laptop up there Okay, what wait a minute? about the target okay listen if it went boom and the bullets still there then did you have backwash or pressure against your face did you have any dust or uh... uh... no then whatever it was that couldn't have been a complete boom because not when you walk they only do this we have doing this over the radio but we can still do it when you open the bowl it was tough to pull the bolt back right uh... not really no oh good okay well okay now you work the bowl when you put when you we grab the bowl handle When you pushed up, did it move the way it normally would? Yes. And when you pulled back, it did the same thing, right? Yes. Now, when you looked at the case, was the case split or ruptured anywhere? I couldn't see it very well. No, no, wait a minute. Were you in a dark room? You've got the cartridge case. The cartridge case, the one that had the bullet out of it. Do you have it? You should have it there, right? Oh, the cartridge case? Yeah, it's done. That's what I'm talking about, Tom. The cartridge case that we just fired, is there a split or a break or a rupture in it anywhere? No. Okay, that's good. That means that it did not, however it over pressured, you didn't get any big backwash, but you got a noise. Now, here's the thing. I'm questioning whether or not there was a full powder charge there, because otherwise, Yeah, okay, but the primer okay the prime does the primer have a dimple in it it obviously made noise So the primer should have a dimple in it and it went off right Yes, and then probably all you had was a gay an empty case with a primer charge for pushing the bullet And so it didn't backwash in any significant way. In fact, if it did, it bled back around the throat and the bolt cam area. There's a bleed off vent with most mousers. It's to the left and at about 9 o'clock, but it can also be at about 10 o'clock on the receiver. You probably wouldn't have even noticed because it would be like a little popcorn fart. OK? But the good thing is case is not ruptured but the bad thing is the bullet is stuck right there just beyond the beyond the chamber, right? No, no, the cartridge itself is in there. The whole cartridge and the bullet? No, the bullet fired off. The cartridge is what's stuck in there. Oh, wait a minute. And okay, you work the action and you pull the boat back. Okay, stop, stop, stop. Okay, you pull the boat back. Did any part of the case come back with that? No. Good. Okay. So the whole case is still in one piece in there, right? Okay, now here's the thing. What you've got is... Now hold on, I'll explain to you what's going on. See, now I've got a better understanding. Okay, it did put a bullet downrange. The bullet is not stuck. You see, let's make sure we get our nomenclature right. The bullet is the projectile. It went downrange. The case, the primer activated. The powder charge went off. The bullet went down the barrel. When you try to extract, Is your extractor... no, you pulled the bolt back and the round failed to extract. The case failed to extract. Right. Now, did you look at the base of the case? Did you try to put the bolt back in and try to re-catch the case? Yes, I've tried that several times. Okay, enough of that. Don't do it again. That's abusive on the extractor. But here's another thing. Did you break the extractor? Did the extractor possibly break on the rifle? Did you look at that? No, I didn't look there. Okay, this is what I need to have you do. There's two things. Number one, because we need to do this for maintenance on the gun now, okay? What you're going to do is you can take the bolt out. You know how to do that. Yes. Take a look at the fascia, you know, the face of the bolt, and you know, there should be a claw there that slides, moves with the turning of the bolt, etc. You'll see it. You can't miss it. If it's broken on a Mauser, it's pretty obvious. Okay? but that claw will be either cracked and pushed back or fractured and completely off. But you didn't get the extra parts out of the gun, right? You didn't have no pieces falling off, right? No, I didn't have no pieces falling off. Okay, so probably what happened instead is that the rim of the extractor band broke or sheared enough that the bolt slid back over it. Also, it could be under machined. It could be smaller than normal spec. So the extractor claw cannot get a good bite or it wasn't able to get a good bite from the get go. Was able to pick it up, was able to hold it, but was not able to continue the process. What you have with this gun is the very thing we talked about for the longest time. You have a good tight chambers, so don't worry about that. If it was firing the federal and the other brass cases, you don't have anything to worry about. But you see, the reason they use brass is because when you have steel on steel, you can get what's called adhesion because of similar metals. And by the fact that the two metals, they don't necessarily, first of all, are not very forgiving or giving. Steel is more resilient than brass is. The brass is a malleable slash a softer metal. And typically will work like a, the reason they chose brass is it works kind of like a lubricant. Okay, it will move over the steel. It will give in place of the steel. It will not adhere to the steel unless there's a dimple or something that pushes the brass out into that divot and then works kind of like an extra little break. So we've got a little adhesion. That may be for whatever reason it's because of something having to do with how the case was the cartridge is built, the steel case. Your best bet, this is good because it's the same solution but instead we're not having to beat a bullet out of there. Go to the hardware, get yourself a brass or a steel rod. Now steel would be your better choice. If you're lucky your hardware may have them. You need to make sure it's long enough that it's longer than the barrel, obviously. Excuse me. What you want to do is start from the muzzle end. Be careful. Don't beat up that crown. And be careful even when you're using the hammer or the mallet on this. Now it's got to be tough enough that it can beat on that rod, brass or steel. so that it works that case back out. That's what you're having to do. However that's going to happen, you've got to be careful. You want to use taps. You don't want to just fud like you're driving a spike. What you want to do is tap it, tap it, tap it, tap it, and agitate it. Then stop for a minute. And again, if you're going to buy a steel rod, it's got to be 30 calories. It's got to be able to sit down the barrel of the gun. And it still needs to be long enough so you've got a few inches, more preferably four or five, so that when you start to tap it down it can work that case without getting too near the crown so you don't ding or damage or hammer the crown by accident, okay, on the end of the barrel. Yeah. Otherwise it's just a straightforward mission. What I would do is this. You got any good penetrating oil that's a spray like PLL, well, anything, WD-40 is okay, but a good penetrating oil is what you want to use first. Take the barrel, take the gun, put the muzzle down and obviously the rifle up. Spray the case around it and around the chamber there and let it sit upright for the night. And then you want to use the steel rod. Don't mess up anymore your cleaning rods. I know that's the first temptation and I've ruined a few myself years ago, but I don't do that anymore. Once you invest in the steel rod, it's part of your armors kit. It stays with your stuff you use in maintaining your weapons because it's an armorer's tool. Okay. But whatever steel, whatever kind of rod you can get that will fit in the 30 caliber barrels, it's got to be able to fit in that barrel. It can be bigger, needless to say, and you're just going to have to tap it out from the other direction. But use the penetrating oil on it and let it sit overnight. Don't just oil it up and, you know, why isn't it working right now? Just let the oil do its work. And that will bleed along the crystal structure, through the crystal structure of both surfaces. and will help to create a slippery surface that will perhaps help with the assistance in tapping that thing out of there. Okay? Okay. It's not your gun. That gun fired other ammunition flawlessly, right? You didn't have any problem with the Federal, right? Federal and Winchester, I think it was. Then it's standard. What it is, those are standard 308 loads. What you've got there is something with that. I want you to also take a look. Was the ammunition a steel case? Right you do you remember? Yeah, it was like it's an oldie green box with yellow Okay, there we go now. I need to know okay. Here's what I want you to do Take the time write all the or I'll bring the box over when you get a chance you can call back into the program in fact Call them at 8 o'clock You've got the ammo there. Don't you? It's in the other room Okay, I want you to give me a ring back at 8 o'clock And I want you to read out all the information so I can write it down But so other people can pay attention to now it fired But what it is is that maybe for again your chamber is probably tight now Let me ask was that done by Lee dozer was that a Lee gun the Mauser? My dad brought a gun show. I have no idea. Well, up where you are, we had a lot of master gunsmiths that were developed and the big project here several years ago was to take and convert 8mm Mausers to .308. It was a good project. In fact, there was a couple of colleges. The colleges became politically correct. Oh my God, they're having gunsmithing classes in our college. And so they cancelled them out, but they had classes, they were gunsmithing classes, and the project for each of the students was to customize K-98 Mausers. And that's why you've got a lot of them floating around up there where you are. Now here's the thing, they took the barrels off, they took the military stocks off, in many cases they took the military sites off too. Well, I told the guys, because they didn't know what to do, they said give them to me. And what we did is we took the military barrels, the military stocks, an 8mm plus all the other parts. We had a bunch of receivers down here. I had like a couple hundred of them actually. They were from another gunsmith who passed away. And he had these that he had bought years and years ago that were demilitarized, they were disassembled. He bought them at a gun show where a guy had been doing gun work way back in like the 50s. And we rebuilt all of those for free because we had a guy that you know actually we had several gunsmiths up there and they said well what do you want us to do? I said I want to take all these military parts and put them on these military receivers and put them all back together and say well it's just the reverse of what we did. I said yeah but it's not going to cost me a penny because we got the receivers for nothing and your gun parts we got for nothing including the stocks which really the stocks for the most expensive part. and we put hundreds of K98s back together because once people found out what we were doing they started digging out in the closet and under the workbench and finding other Mauser receivers. So we took all the parts that were taking off your guns and put them on our guns on this end of the state, which is kind of cool. Well I did. I mean, it was a whole pile of them. I don't know how many stuck away. I'm probably close to, again, about 200 or left at least. up and we greased them up in their storage just like the army stores them so they could be good forever. And when the time comes, somebody's going to be carrying a K98 Mauser to put a hole in Ching Li. Euro 308 came from that group probably. So, they're good now. It's a scope rifle, right? Or did it have iron sights too or scoped in iron sights? There's no scope iron. I was going to have one iron put on it, but I wanted to get it working right before I did. Okay, very good. Well, first of all, let lubricants do their work. I love petroleum oil and lubricant products. In other words, POL. And let the lubricants get in there first. Again, use the pentat... If you have to, get a little can of penetrating oil if you don't have any. But you need a good spray, a good real penetrating oil. There's liquid wrench brands, there's a bunch of others. Gibbs, if you've got a can of Gibbs laying around, Gibbs would be best. It won't hurt your weapon, it won't hurt the wood. In fact, it will be nothing but plus plus. But then we need to find out more about that ammunition. That's what I want to know more about. So I'll tell you what, at 8 o'clock I want you to call back, have the box in hand, and you can read all the information off to us. And make sure you have one of the cases so we can read what's on the base of the case. Very good. Oh, that's good. That's a heads up. So it's not a bullet in the barrel, it's the case in the chamber. That's what we have to get out. That's pretty straightforward. As long as it wasn't ruptured or fractured. Well, here's the thing. Since you don't have it out, now that we know that's a sure thing, it might be split. It may have expanded and fractured rather than stretched around the throat. Since you didn't have any catastrophic issues back against the weapon and you didn't see any venting, you didn't see a puff of smoke next to the receiver, right? On your end, towards your eyes. No. Okay, no, it wouldn't be very big. It's really hardly noticeable sometimes. There's a gas blowback so that if you have a base rupture, okay, when you pull this out, the base rupture is the most dangerous. A throat usually is not what will happen as it just expands a little bit but the projectile goes down range, the powder goes down range, nothing to worry about. But a base case rupture can cause a lot of other issues, not the least of which can be again, expansion and gases back towards the shooter. Now on the Mauser rifles, the Turnbolt Mauser rifles, all of them, I don't care if even the Dutch The Swedish Mausers, the K98 Mausers made in Germany, the Czech, the Pole, the South American, the Mexican Mausers, they all have this gas bleed off, or at least the lion's share, I would say probably about 92%. And it's for the purpose of, again, it's a safety blow off in the event of a base case rupture, you know, base of the case. Now the rupture, there are two types. But one would be an issue that I would expect if you had a mismatch bolt to the barrel, but you don't because you've already been shooting other rounds and you've had no problems. If there is a headspace issue, the most catastrophic and dangerous is a crescent base rupture. It actually looks just like a clipping of a fingernail on the side and it runs around the circle of the case. A side split is not good, but there again it's typically going to stay kind of compartmentalized and typically the chamber will make up the difference and do what it's supposed to do and everything goes down range. So when we get that case out we want to inspect the case. And this is what you're looking for, either A, a very obvious split. It can be up by the throat where the bullet sits and it will be like a line crack. It can be on the shoulder and it will be a shoulder crack similar to what might be with the throat. It will be running the length but on the shoulder. It can be a body failure but if it is it will probably be back towards the base of the case not towards the front. Now that's the least likely to have happened as a forward split or rupture or failure of the case in the chamber. And the last, which is the worst, is a base case split that's lateral, perpendicular to the length of the case itself. But that typically identifies improper head spacing, close to insufficient or, again, dangerous or failure. So that's the things you're watching for. If it does not split, it may simply stretch and be ready to crack. So you've got to take your fingernail and you want to run it around the edge of the case in different places all the way around. and you experiment to see, oh there's a spot right there, it looks fine, it feels a little different. You can feel it with your fingernail. But tonight you won't be able to tell us anything about that because you're going to let the penetrating oil soak into that chamber, okay? Okay, do I spray it down the chamber or do I open up the sink? No, no, I'll turn the... Well, you can do it both ways. What I would do is, first of all, spray some down the barrel, but then you've got to let it sit for a bit that direction. Gravity sucks. But because the case will be part... Since you can open the bolt, take the bolt right off the gun. That way you can turn the barrel upright, put a rag underneath it, make sure you don't put anything you like, any cloth or anything. You don't want it to get on any carpeting or in your furniture. But put a cloth in the muzzle end and then spray around the case, around the base, leaving it upright. And the chamber, well, I should say the bolt cam area will work as like a cup. so that whatever doesn't go down immediately will be lingering right there and it'll be drawn into the channel of the chamber. Either way that'll work, you can pour it down the barrel, spray it down the barrel, but you've got to remember that the inside of the bullet's gone, so the inside of the chamber, forgive me, the case can end up with a lot of the spray and it does you no good. You see how that works? But you can spray it both ways. Give a little spray from the one end, because that'll help it to work from the throat end of the case. then turn it the other way around and do it from the uh... from the chamber and but and be generous i mean after all we're going to get that puppy out there we don't want to mess up anything i doubt that you even have any case rupture but it's possible and that's one of the things we're looking for if you did not have any failure with any of those brass cases What we found out is that your rifle needs to digest a better quality of ammo because it was built to higher tolerance. It is not a badly built gun in just reverse. It's a precision built gun. Okay? Yeah. So that's not a problem. I wouldn't get rid of anything yet because it doesn't sound like it's been an issue. It just means you're going to have to shoot cheap federal ammo, son. Yeah. Okay. Well, now here's another thing. There is... There is some pretty partisan PPU ammo. It's pretty cheap 308 and it's in factory factory loads and It shoots well, and it's basically where it's basically federal is what it is, but it's not but it's a federal spec cartridge like federal or I don't know there's a couple of companies I think herders is buying someone they got some of their brand name that they made for it But it's a boxer prime not corrosive heat and heal case and it's a soft point or you can get a spire point whatever you want You know or ball ammunition, but they make all kinds of hunting loads PPU doesn't just make military spec ammo They make you know hunting loads, so they make some pretty cool stuff, and it's good It's good quality and it's a boxer prime so you can reload it always save all your brass for reloading right Yeah, so there's our steel case right off the bat it could happen it could be a bad day at the factory But it's more likely you've got a really tight gun back gun. Yeah. Anyway, good point. Well, that'll help us to understand something's going on and for a chance, well, I guess hopefully everybody understood what I was saying. But the big thing is let's get the lubricant on it first and then we'll take a look at the rest. If you didn't see one of the other things about a case, like you see, one of the things that would also cause, well, let's look at some of the problems that can create a case rupture. Insufficient spin or control during the striking of the case. and one side of the case is thicker than the other. This happens with glass the same way, so one side can be like double the thickness and the other can be paper thin. There's where you'll end up with a case rupture. It can happen. It doesn't happen very often, but it can happen. The other is, of course, myth-sizing. Needless to say, that's we've already pretty well covered. And there can also be charge issues. It could be somebody did you a favor and put more than a regular charge but less than a double charge. Because if it was any kind of significant overcharge, you'll feel it. You know what I mean? It didn't feel like it was kicking more or anything, right? No. Yeah, see, so you also notice that because it'll bite you. It'll bump you more. I know. I've had that. Right, and so in this case, since it wasn't something that jumps out at you memory-wise during the event, it's something that we can pretty well figure that it was probably not an overcharge issue. Now it's just a matter of probably sizing, and like I said, the other step beyond that is failure of the case because of improper construction during the six or seven point stamping process where they make the case. Because that's where the problems take place. Like I said, 99.9999% of the time. In fact, it's probably even lower than that. 99.9999999999% of the time. Because they do millions and billions of rounds a year. For any one company, any one machine, probably, it's millions and millions of rounds. Because the machines never stop running. I don't care whose company it is right now. They're building animals fast. They can put the materials into the machine. It's just a, we'll narrow it down. Right now we're actually just going through the checklist of what you'd be looking for and what you should be looking for as an armor or when you're taking care of your own weapons. Okie dokie. Hey Mark. Yeah. At 8 o'clock, can you kinda, Putin's making a lot of noise right now. He acts like he's gonna push the button any second. Could you kinda go over what the hell is bothering Putin and why he's so pissed off at us? I don't know what you're doing. What do you mean? Number one, let's go back a little bit. Putin already bit the bullet when we shot down one of his planes. We've already shot down one of Russia's planes, remember? Let's go back a little bit. Oh, the Turks did it. Yeah, the Turks, the Israelis. Okay, think about this. Who's running ISIS? The stinking Israeli pigs, the Turks, and us, okay? So the Russians are flying low support with no top cover. That means they were confident that everybody knew what was going on. So they were flying attack planes without any fighter support. Well the Turks turned around and shot down a Russian ground support aircraft because they knew they could get away with it because those planes are not designed for air to air combat. They're designed for coin work, okay? The ones the Russians had there. So the Russians have already had their aircraft attacked by NATO. Already. And now on top of that, you've got this other BS that we just, you know, again, the Israelis pulled, and we're being pulled around by our green weenie dick, and he dink, that's what's happening. As far as them yapping about him wanting to start World War III, reverse that. It's the OI boys, the Jewish Mafia, those pieces of filth. If anybody's gonna bomb us, like I said a million times, guys, it's gonna be the Israelis. And all the Russians did a sneak attack and they hit us with one two or three bombs Why would they hit us with one two, anything? Whoever starts launching nukes, one thing you remember I was thinking about this earlier today guys always remember this axiom in warfare use it or lose it once a war starts use it or lose it. Now that works Whatever you're hearing, yeah, Putin and those guys are, I can't play what was just said on the air here. One of the Russian officials just threw it, oh where the hell, maybe I can't. No, I don't think I can on the air. But it has to do with kitty cats. And the Russians said, well, I don't know, I can't really say there's a lot of kitty cats on both sides, you know, Republican and Democrat. You know what I mean? Only didn't say kitty cats. Now, think about what he meant. The woman, she was laughing. She couldn't help but she was laughing into her lap because she was asking about the kitty cat statements about petting kitty cats and groping kitty cats. She thought she was going to get him to stumble and say it. He came with a perfect kickback and she was laughing. She couldn't help it because it was like totally excused. She goes, I wasn't really expecting that. And he goes, yeah, well, you're cutting, he goes, he goes, well, America is full of kitty cats right now. Yeah. Well, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you said America is full of kitty cats and you're a government right now. You get my drift. I think everybody knows what word we can change kitty cat with, right? Unfortunately true. Yeah, it is. That's the problem with this. They're right out in the money. He knows. See, it's our fault because we're letting them get away with it. That is our fault and they know it. It's like Lyndon Baines Johnson not sending the aircraft. If everybody thinks Benghazi is new, let's remember something about the USS Liberty. We had aircraft carriers that could be there within minutes, within moments. The jets were already off the deck and headed to help our ship out. And Lyndon Baines Johnson, that traitorous pig, just like FDR, by the way, both of them Democrats, Lyndon Baines Johnson, it's now proven, said, I don't want anybody to help that. I want to see that blankety blank ship at the bottom of the sea. I want to see. Yeah, he's sending them around. Yeah, he called back our planes so the Israelis could murder our servicemen. You see how that works? So I want to remind everybody who's going to be shooting at us is not the Russians. The Russians are killing ISIS. The latest video that guy hacking the ones, once again, they're ISIS, you know, taking a knife and hacking a guy's head off, sawing it off, you know, with an 8-inch knife. The guy is very much alive, okay, but not after the first several cuts. But the bottom line is, is you're telling me I'm supposed to feel bad because some Americans and Turks and Israeli filth were standing next to all these ISIS baby-rapers and they all got their arse whacked? Good, I don't want them coming back here and I don't want the rest of the pigs traveling with them here either. I hope they kill every last one of the bastards. Well, seriously. Go ahead. I'm sorry. Can you jump in there? Is that Tom? Tom, go ahead. The pictures floating around of them painting are plain Russian colors so they can attack us. Well, that's the aggressor force. I know what they're doing there. We used to do it actually with liers. But they're painting up aircraft right now that yeah, if they wanted to they could do that but the thing is they're over in the United States. In order for them to get over there it would take a few, it would take more than a few hours. So if they ever get off the ground and somebody were to just keep an eye on with cameras, the site, just put some security cameras, point them at that air base. You know, just the flight, just the runways. And you see those planes take off and they start heading east. Okay from where they are then I would worry if they just go east and nobody comes back And they're probably going out to do a dirty deed, but it's more likely that just like what the Israelis did with the Liberty The Liberty was attacked by unmarked fighter aircraft jet bombers, okay They were Israeli aircraft that only the Israelis flew and they knew it now when they came in with the boats They were flying Israeli flags and they were proud to shoot to shoot Americans from their their gunboats They torpedoed our people. They napalmed our people with Israeli flags flying high because they were told by Lyndon Johnson they could kill every Goy American there and murder every last one of our men. So they were given the wink of the nod so they came in with the flag flying high and knew they were killing Americans every step of the way. Putin just told his people in America to come back to the motherland. Well, they're telling all of their, this is something that, like I told you before, it's like before any real war, you start rolling in the carpet. Start crawling in the at-large individuals, especially if they're dignitaries' families or if it's even the... What happens, it's like when we abandon the Iranian embassy before the hostage taking. We were rolling up the carpet, all the dependents were sent home. Everybody has their property boxed up and they give the keys to the guards there, the Marines at the embassy, and they take care of it.
