We've also had a number of cases where the dogs have been left shot and dying. or critically wounded or marvel-y wounded and you know, they leave a note or whatever. Now reverse that if you'd gone to their property or reverse that if it would be one of those stinking police dogs, what would happen? Which is a lie. But again, this is part of the lie of America slash suddenly the more of the way it is right now. But I will emphasize again, the level of repetitive action is just like the stop resisting scam. Um, so by the way, magazines, yes, I had this request again. Remember this morning we were talking about it. The, uh, a lot of the companies that had bags, if you list them, when you go to the page and you go to the specific mag listing, they're sold out. If you're looking for field grade standard mags, they have to dig those back corners out or watch for any kind of sale maybe on the first or second generation mag pull mags in the introductory models. You know, the first generation slash first pattern models that they have. If you go that route, again, there's nothing wrong with them. I mean, come on guys, everybody was buying those mag pull mags in force. There are newer models or different models they've created. But they're more than effective enough for what you're doing. So if it's a C mag or a surplus military Colt mag, whatever you're doing, all of them work. The Colt mags are stupid priced right now. You know, and they're going up stupid or still. So, yeah. But they do show up in surplus in certain circles and certain people's hands. I think Centerfire actually had a decent price for the 30 round Colt mags. And again, they have the Prancing Pony on the base plate. That's what makes them Colt mags. I still have hundreds if not thousands of cold air 15-20 rounders. I don't even know what the actual count is. I've had so many crates that we boxed up. Worked really well for me. That sounds weird. What, Adventure Line? Are you kidding? No, that was the company's name, Adventure Line. And a lot of you guys in the 70s and 80s carried Adventure Line mags. That was the second wave coming out. Actually, you had the Vietnam War, but the contract, I believe, really picked up. That was the primary contractor for the end of the war to the thing, you know, the two years afterwards, up to about 78, 79, 77, 78, right around there. And the next group of mags came in were abysmal. They actually had a bunch of problems with them. In fact, it was an other low bid contractor that never built mags before. The government, of course, immediately cut and they did the contract. The rest is history as they say, the company went out of business. But in the meantime, they did some damage to reliability issues. With regard to the AR, didn't help the already, shall we say, sane event process of using the AM16. And sought out and stuck to the 20 rounders for that reason. Even though their 30 rounders were available, the rumor mill was enough to make people very of 30 rounders for a long time, even if they were cold. So just a heads up. Those issues have been dealt with. Magpul makes some great mags. There are other companies also building the mags. It's purely a flavor choice on your part. But cleaning kits on the other hand, of newer pattern cleaning kits, personally I like the older Vietnam Aeroset slash post-Vietnam Standard M16 223 kit. But there are some really nice, through the adventure continues, cleaning kits that are now have come down in cost. Quite a bit. They were up about $109, $119, $120 a piece. Right now I've noticed that some of those are down to $34, $35. Now it's probably not the same companies are surplus items, so they probably got them at a government auction, but they're offering them for about one third what they've been going for. And they're a good system. They're designed to be self-contained. They are, of course, you know, they've got the spring solid rod that coils up inside the kit. It's an interesting idea, it works and it doesn't take up much space. So if you were looking for that, you see those, your heart is set upon it, it's okay. I don't see a problem with that. Any kind of cleaning kit you have is a hell of a lot better than assuming that somehow the dirt works its own way out of the gun. I've seen a lot of people actually argue that, oh yeah, it works in the door thing. No, no, well, every gun is actually in that respect. Every firearm in theory, when you work the bolt, certain amount of scraping and cleaning. Typically the stuff, you know, the junk and debris that's moved around by the bolt via the semi-auto or manual is gravity through the magazine well or through the trigger, the trigger guard, you know, through the trigger, the trigger channel. That actually happens no matter what. Even if the design wasn't meant to do it, it happens. Okay, so that's another heads up that, yeah, it does, well, it doesn't really self-clean. It just, the debris gets so thick and it gets pushed out. We don't want to wait until situations get to that point. You need to be cleaning your weapons. If you've got the SKS and the AK and you don't have a cleaning kit in your buttstock, get it in there. You know why? Hey guys, it all works. It's simple, a kiss, keep it simple, stupid. It all functions well. It's a proven system. Why reinvent the wheel? The only problem is with how you have cleaning rods. If you're going to put a cleaning rod on board, try to find the right size and always test the thread for that cleaning rod with your cleaning kit. Because there are one or two odd men out there. Go ahead, caller. Mark, you're talking about rumor mill. In my rumor mill, I just heard that they're putting out now a support year to five year lifespan. Have you heard anything on that? They tried this several years ago, and beware it because there's people that might be trying to stir the pot on this. Here's a way to settle that. You know what, talk about this always. I like buying surplus older ammo anyway, don't I? 600 crores, you need millimeter. Why? primer and it sits on the shelf forever and works. And I guess this project was tested originally. Several of the European manufacturers were building this time sensitive primer and ammunition. It's the primer that desensitizes. And it was called the green process where what they do is they, when they develop the crystalline filament that actually goes in the primer, it's green so it's still curing. is at a given point it cures out of service. The disadvantage, and this is where they had their problem, and I think they would still have this problem, is that they just calculated the time allotment, and they had a bunch of ammunition that went faulty almost from the get-go. So, and that's been years now. That's been probably what, 07. They were pushing it back in 98, 99. It fell flat on its face then. When they went into desert dust and they start using these mercenary prostitutes out of Eastern Europe. These had-hoc companies, they produced the ammunition for the shysters that wanted this as part of a UN specification. Well, it's like I said, good. The enemy's producing, you know, faulty ammo for themselves. Meanwhile, we're sticking with the older inventory that we know is pretty much serviceable, and the shelf life's good, just keeping it ammo cans. The latest, latest, if it's military, it could be If it's civilian, not so much. There's two different production lines and in many cases the ones that have been doing the desensitizing munitions were European contractors. Which is another reason that I don't like some of those European contractors. So, it's possible, it's not as likely, but let's assume the worst and we won't be disappointed and stay focused with any munitions that we have in our inventory that we know is proven. I had not heard that they cut it off completely, and I noticed that UNAMMO.com and AMMOMAN.com have been recovering good quantities. However, again, it would still be probably three months to four months before they would deplete their inventory. Could be less, depending on the rush. But we wouldn't see it right away. We wouldn't know about it until it was too late. In the past people used to at least have conversations about this. The system is now trying to avoid talking about these issues, which tells me that they're real. Past people are pretty casual. Now all of a sudden it's like, oh, oh, and I would assume, see here's the other thing that I think that goes along with that. Remember there's only so many importers. And the importer, the government loves taking their money because they have to pay all those excise taxes and such. But they're also notorious for screwing you every chance they can. So, what they'll do is they'll come up and tell these guys, yeah you can impart this, but this is the last time, and don't you tell anybody, oh, Homeland Security classification, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. In other words, the peasants, it's to try and avoid letting the peasants know that this is going on. And that's the field that I get from the people that I talk to. I appreciate the feedback on that, thank you. First thing that I would point out, you know what? The Yugoslavian 7.62x39 brass case, copper jacket, in stripper clip demo is still coming in. That would be, that should be our priority for purchasing. Certainly we'd want to grab all the cheapest ammo we can, and Walt is still the cheapest out there along with Red Army whenever each one shows up in mass. The Yugoslav had all the one big advantage, it's all coming in stripper clips. If any's more, it's worth it for the stripper clips, guys. We have a lot of SKS's in service. The quicker you can reload that weapon, the more volume fire you can put down range. Now, I don't like to spray and pray with the SKS, in fact, I like the SKS as a marksman's rifle. And contrary to all the other BS, I'll put you to test at 300 yards with the SKS all day, with iron sights. So it's a decent, it's a carbine to begin with, it's not a rifle, but remember the barrel length is longer than an AK. It's a carbine, it's rated as a carbine, it was listed and brought in the inventory as a carbine, but it is still a very lethal tool and a very serviceable tool. Its reliability more anything else makes it the most valuable component. a lot of different units. It's self-contained, the 10-round magazine capacity, the magazine itself is not loseable if you use the original configuration. The van it can't be dropped, the cleaning kit is in the buttstock, the cleaning rod is under the barrel. You throw the rifle to somebody and if you pack it up properly, all with a chest pouch, you got everything they need to start fighting immediately. And they are, of course, great cachet weapons because of their size. And a standard SKS is more than serviceable enough for pretty much everything you're gonna do in a guerrilla warfare operation. Now if you want to select fire weapon, take that SKS with its 10 rounds, spend one or two to collect what you want from the enemy, and then you decide whether or not you want to continue working with the SKS, or you want to give it to somebody else so they can go get their weapon from the enemy. Okay, now there's two of us. You get the SKS, I get the HK we stole from the other side because we plugged the sentry. Now let's go find another guy or another couple guys and let's double our force again. See, that SKS would never truly be retired because we'll still need rifles. And again, in a defensive situation, we would need defense in depth. A percentage of weapons available need to be in place. SKS's are a great choice for that. And as you know, we've bought a lot of them. Now they're not as cheap as they used to be. Gun, let's see, JGSales.com, com, JGSales.com has SKS and they have the 7.62x39 on stripper clips. But I think that the price that you and ammo for the UGO ammo is still better by a few dollars than it is at JGSales. But JGSales has been reliable. JGSales.com. Still not outrageous, but yes, what we used to pay for an AK. Change rate, what's left in the inventory? Most of the SKS's, if they're not the Chinese ones that were made during the Vietnam War, probably for Vietnam. the Yugoslavian 66's in whichever configuration. Those are good rifles. Most of them are brand new, unissued, or refabricated in the arsenal, and they look just like they came right out of the plant, which by the way they probably did. And those are decent weapons, but they're Yugo, so remember certain things are Yugo only, and you've got to make sure you have parts.
