Well, see, grapes, grapes do not, if you've got a bunch of grapes on a grapevine, they don't rely on that sunlight. And what some people do to stop birds from getting into grapes for the same reason that you said about the tomatoes. They take a little brown paper lunch sack that you buy at the dollar store. and you put that around a bunch of grapes when it first forms and tie a string around it and leave it there, those grapes will go ahead and grow. Excellent. Absolutely. Absolutely. But I didn't know if a tomato would do that or not. Yep, the actual fruits of the tomato themselves can definitely handle that method and I really appreciate you calling in with that because that hadn't even crossed my mind. But if you use a barrier method like surrounding your tomatoes with a bag, once they've actually fruited out from the flowers, that will totally work because the energy that tomatoes use, even the moisture that tomatoes use, comes from two places. Number one, the leaves around those fruits and then number two, the actual soil and roots from that area. So if you're not fertilizing or irrigating the leaves, then you need to make sure you're paying a lot of attention to that soil area around basically a two to three foot circumference, a circle around the base or stem of that tomato plant. But I appreciate that because yes, I think that would work for David as well doing that. The only concern I would have with bagging the fruits would be again using fungal disease but you've called in and mentioned that your humidity has not been high. So I think this would work. You could also use a, I guess like a mesh bag if you were really paranoid about it. But yeah, I think this is a good technique as well. Folks, we are out of time. I appreciate it. Once again, email me at joe from the Carolinas at gmail.com at joe from Carolina. check out my new video on youtube.com, Joe from the Carolinas on youtube.com. I'm Ron Haim, an FMI-Crow Station, CB Bay Station, Ulfredet, Hallmark, and Golden Spike Technologies East, and along with Alaska as a reinforce to be safe just in case it was a mute issue. Today is a year of open Fabian Socialist, Soviet Socialist, Oracle of the K, 2000, and Old Earth Calendar, and full of our guys for helping out here with the stuff that's going on right now. Again, great weekend. We had a phenomenal response. by everybody that showed up over at the Samba Shalott, if it can't Fox. And again, I can't thank you guys enough for that. More reports I'm getting, everybody is, you know, it's a double plus good. Try that at Orwell's 1984, except this ain't 90 sponsors. Get out there by the guys right now, especially recruiting. Weekend coming up, there's gonna be a series of recruiting actions taking place. Actually, I thought it'd be two, but it looks like there'll be more than a few that are operational simultaneously. I might be able to help with one. are looking schedule-wise, we are going to get stopped because we've got to get filming in more in the can with regard to what's going on with vision video. That's been the priority. And we've got a lot of stuff set up to go. I've got additional material that has to be plugged in. As a matter of fact, buddy, that we'll be participating square top to bottom because this is going to be a major event. We're going to be doing a little bit of a data process here, guys. That's really interesting for everyone. going to be able to do that. So next night vision video will complement the first two. The first video is the classroom component. The second video is the, we have many, many, many others that are, shall we say, going to be quite unique here, demonstrating with the next wave. Thermal, the other equipment that you guys are able to acquire or maybe using right now, because halfway through, we're the third week, this is the 21st, we're going to be the end of the third week of June. Obviously the bad guys obviously want to try and kick things off working the way they hoped. In fact, it's got a kind of cool, I think, but we'll see how that works out in the long run. The only good thing about some people that have gone out to pickle the excess stuff later for a pretty good price because not all these people are going to follow through or do the right thing. That's okay. That's cool. The benefit, the materials out there won't be trackable and you'll be acquiring firearms and equipment and need. to support the troops that are staying focused and are staying on track. Whoever does what when it comes to getting involved. It's just the way it works, guys. Some people know how to stay focused. They know how to, again, understand the long-term aspect of this commitment-wise. Others do not. There's an equipment out of the system, actually, again, and there's no pinging it back to anywhere. It's working on that. I think everybody's pretty well on the same page. I can't even be rather surprised at just how well this is going to work out for us because actual force numbers appear to almost have doubled just in the last couple of weeks with people finally deciding that they have to come and survive what's going on. That's a good thing. We can handle that. It's not like we wouldn't have expected that. It is interesting to note that hard chargers are plugging in very quickly. They kind of deal right now with these guys. A pack of coal to make sure that wasn't a strip. something we're supposed to get and they've got to try to dump something. Let's see if we can find out. Oh, I picked everybody's interest. It's Communications Tuesday. That ought to communicate to everybody. Watch, cheat, find out more about that in a moment. I want to remind everybody we're talking FRS radios now. As FRS is your show, they tell some cases of talking about how big a piece of real estate and how a real estate is. It's a good thing. And I would remind everybody again, radio discipline is going to be especially critical in the up and coming issue of American soil. Looking at equipment like this, remember we need to limit the range under certain conditions. We don't really want to be reaching that far. We need to talk to the other either themselves or the other fire team. Beyond that, you know, talking the way out is only going to be providing the enemy with information that they don't deserve. And that's something that everybody needs to be thinking about. Ahead of prior proper planning prevents, make sure that the bad guys are denied as much information as is humanly possible. is still getting the critical information across that we need to when the time comes. That's one of the other considerations, that's one of the other issues that needs to be addressed, the next phase, you know, the troubles that are coming. That's true, that was a great price. It was a set of Colt magazines, but they are 35 cents for a pair of Colt mags. They really are Colt mags. 1911 mags, 235 cents, which a price even there for the Airsoft mags, but that's not for your 1911 as in your 45 1911 and 45 Mucp, okay? So I saw the search on that, that's pretty cool. That's a good price if you have the Airsoft that matches that. For two magazines for your Airsoft 1911 trainer, hold on here, come over to their air-sizing section, 25 cent, 35 cent and 10 cent magazines right now. Yes they do, as a matter of fact. Now for very specific and near-cold knockoffs, a lot of those showed up at Meyers, you know, and also at Walmart. by Colt or under crack for Colt with a Colt name on them. That is a hell of a buy. You just want to make sure you're getting the right magazine for your airsoft firearm, okay? Is right. So if you're looking at a quarter for two, I think I'd buy $5 worth, don't you? Yeah, you could afford a whole bunch of airsoft pistol mags for your airsoft gun that way. And that's at airww.airrattle.com. Ww.airbigradio is talking down. Well, here's the basic rule. You can only go so far because of the jump that takes place. You know, it's a hop, skip, and the jump. But you can actually bring your heavy radio technology, your long-range technology down and hit the area of operation where you are. Heavy transmitters should be focused on trying to reach out and talk to the planet or listen to the planet. But if you very power and you drop the power down dramatically, which by the way is what big radio companies do to hit certain markets, they could retransmit a million watts. I'll even tell you what they're doing if it's AM for instance. If you drive that signal, initially you can actually lose a whole bunch of your quote-unquote local market, which is probably what you're really interested in, at least with step one, first part of the bounce. If you pull that signal back, the first strike off of the antenna or the main thrust off of that antenna is the best way to describe it. It will envelop the local area, but that impact area can be put out or pulled back by by increasing, you can push it out farther, you pull the power down, you pull the signal back so it strikes at a different location. Now this is a trick that could be used in an emergency if you were having problems because of local jamming in particular areas of operation, well with certain technologies, example FRS radios, marine radios, whatever, everything's being jammed, it's a particular bandwidth. That guys have decided they need to do that or can't, then you need to have a solution deal with that particular problem and over-override it as needed. Okay, or get it probably, you can do the same thing in reverse, but most important is getting an emergency signal message out. This is where you pre-designate, know that this might be an issue, you have to get an emergency broadcast out, let's say that all of a sudden we might not already be, what you do is inform the likelihood of an attack alternate wave is one of the options. Everybody can pick up a shortwave transmitter or has one typically on the shelf for a pretty good price like little or nothing. And this is a solution to deal with the issue, the issue at hand. You'll be able to tune into the battle emergency frequency, kind of like civil defense used to do. Okay, remember good old civil defense? Well, they did the same thing. They had CED designated frequencies on your local radio. The civil defense frequencies were, you know, backed up by heavy monstrous, well-armored, EMP protected transmitters that had one mission. That was to get the signal out, to get emergency information out to the population. Remember that the military had first dibs on anything that was being used, so the actual priority was for maintaining some level of military civilian support and paramilitary support, utilizing shortwave VHF and UHF to whatever degree. And these hardened locations, which were actually quite extensive and distributed all over the country, could be quickly tuned into by anybody who are procuring a civilian vehicle, and help all of us. Well, to a degree, the more important vehicles would have benchmarkers immediately that they could go to, to receive specific orders, which comes, that's the whole idea. With the background there, sorry about that, it's a really cool thing. I like it. For right now, I'll hear in just a moment, but Now is the time to tweak your equipment. If you're using radio, for instance, the same thing can be done with many of the higher end marine radios. You can also, again, vary output. You may have cool as a lot of those. Better radios can be laked. It doesn't mean you don't still do a given ticket and they run out of targets. Well, it's the same thing on the Great Lakes. The only good thing is that if you go to these places where they're chopping up and burning the boats, because a lot of them are fiberglass, they're good boats. Very well built. Well, because they're doing that, they're stripping all the electronics off. And in many cases, you can get one, two, three, and up to five marine radios off one boat. If it has a flying bridge and then a lower command bridge, it probably has at least three radios on board. One on the flying bridge, one's down the command bridge, and one back on the personnel deck. Those radios could also be used as intercoms. Now, the booger radios, especially if you've got somebody that has like a five 5 cabin or 6 cabin cruiser. Chances are they spent top are out there now. It doesn't look ultra super new modern. Luckily it's more powerful. Has a greater number of options with regard to control. Again, operation in general. And you're going to get them for scrap weight. Guards a little more but the fuguities are weathered. So everything on board. Including the electronics. That's why I love marine radios guys. I really really really do. heads up on that one. Also again if you're going to be doing marine radio grab all the coax and yes there are antennas. Now you'll find some of those are mega death whips but you know what I really do like those. It'll make great base radio antennas don't they? Look like hell, it's like they're fishing poles. Yeah, you want those. Yes you do. You want all the fixtures, the bases, the coax and everything. In fact pretty much first radio uses a base station. Just take the entire fixture the way it was set up on the boat. and mount the radio wherever you're going to mount it, and congratulations, first one done. Some people like to keep those clustered together because if you're going to be in fairly close proximity, let's say you get two or three or four hulks off of a boat, what's going to happen is if one does have a problem, you can switch out the exact same radio if you use those as backups. At the very least, you can parasite and start to cannibalize as needed, and then upgrade to another radio or change out to another radio if there's a problem. Just things to think about there because you're constantly looking at breakage. You should always be thinking about breakage. Something is gonna go wrong. It's not a maybe or kind of. It's the nature of the battlefield. And by the way, haven't you watched all these horror movies? Haven't you watched all these Hollywood productions? He always breaks down when it's most needed. It's always the case. So what's really funny is, unlike Hollywood, it's like, oh yeah, it broke down, you're right, but uh, I'll get another one right here. Oh, you sabotaged the first one. Oh, you're working for somebody else. Ah, don't worry, we're gonna contact our people and now that you can see that we're actually still online, you're probably wanting to get hold of your people to stop that attack you had planned, right? Remember all those movies are always like that, it's always like, we're only a moment away from them and they're gonna shoot the bugger. You shoot him and get rid of him. No, you have to have dialogue and plot complex. Well I say, well you just shoot him and be done with it and then get rid of his buddies. Well that shortens the series for a lot of exciting work you can put on film later about how you build society back up once you get rid of these POSs, the problems. That's right, it'll work so much better for everybody. Yeah, okay. Anyway, I'll do it, yes. I've had three requests in for this particular. And if you want to request a song for the programming any time during the day, when you call in. If you want it in the afternoon, I'll play it in the afternoon. Appreciation for the human fly. Really cool. Which is, I think, really, this song has been already popular, but what really made it popular is that particular video. It shows you how the flying suit works and, wow, what kind of a crazy person is in the suit. It really is, no matter how you look at it. It is impressive, and he is pressing the envelope. Including Sally, and there too, with the Signal Communications group, the four-ninth. the 49th and the Lake State Militia. This particular song where a request for you, brought it by you guys and a whole bunch of other people, so we're gonna play it. Here we go. Of course, there's a big piece for what he did, but it's one of those pieces, that's like I said, in fact, I wanna try it on another stereo system we put on a vehicle, Outbound. It's like there's another song out there. To me, this always was an armored song. The next one I'm gonna play here real quick because everybody's gonna recognize it. But to me it's like, especially when you get that stomping beat where you get that low resonance, do, that do, that's like feedback on a, I mean this is to say feedback on a big woofer or like on a speaker where the mic's just a little too, do, beat where it's like, well, you know, the armors kick in like you said, as the turret turns and you're panning, do, and then of course scanning back the other way, kind of like a really slow version of that silence, make sure we got the right. Oh my goodness, you never know that. You see guys when you play with a key, oh it's horrible when you gotta do that add thing first of it. I think we got it right here so, we can do. But the, some really great stuff you can plug in, it passes the time guys, it really does. It helps a lot, motivates the troops. I know this is an oldie and a moldie, an oldie but a goodie as they say too. But, a particular piece right here especially. of it. This is where again you got that track piece, you're moving, you're taking off, you got the Eowall Nation piece going. And then, you know, of course, wheel in the skies now, they're pretty good. If you listen to that, I've already worked out a video for that one, I just haven't had time to finish that up. It's an armor piece. This one is where it kind of plays out a little softer. You won't think where I'm going with this one. We will, than you, but with the same author singing. And by the way, that one's cut down to 205, so it's pretty much that way. So again, Sometimes it's just one way. Example is, if you're going to be setting up communications, most of you don't probably know this, although you have heard about it. Most of you don't know. You're here many times. Let's give credit where credit is due. Where the micro FM broadcasters came from was Vietnam. The Vietnam War. Not just over here. I'm talking about over there. We're picking up equipment, especially of, you know, electronic wizards that, you know, now had government behind them and massive waste. And the guys built portable radio stations and they started broadcasting out to the troops. A lot of times while you had one PRC-77 or 25 tuned up to the tactical net, dragged along a backup radio and that backup radio was tuning in. You're someone of battalion, editing and unique stuff. And they worked in all the frequencies that were needed to get it out to where the troops were depending upon what force it was, etc. These were all independent little groups. They were literally pirate radio. Units actually carried additional radios that were separate from everything else that was used for military purposes. Guys that were doing the independent pirate radio off of the military rigs, the attitude. Guys came back with similar expertise from World War II and they picked up the radio equipment and to a degree did some of that after World War II. Same with Korea, but Vietnam, especially with everybody getting tired and doing the protest thing, etc. And also seeing the writing on the wall with a lot of the stuff that was going on. Well, independent alternate radio became the norm. Underground magazines printed and produced. A lot of stuff like this was popping in with information. Way before the internet, etc. And it was the other way to get stuff, you know, information and news that otherwise, well, information, not news. instance the gemstone file. The old gemstone file was incorporated by a lot of the into many of the B.M. systems. Programs are so heavily embedded that they could never be extracted or at least by the novices or the inept that were running the systems that came through. They couldn't extract the program without collapsing the system that was running the system. And so many of these files stayed buried in and in fact if you knew where to look they were accessible. University of Michigan, Michigan. Ohio State University, etc. and they were all over the country back in the 70s and into the 80s. Progressively, the information became more readily available as PCs become more readily available too. Now, what's happened to the programming? Well, a lot of systems have been passed up now by newer mainframes or different, again, technologies. But the gemstone files and a lot of the other information like that was still out there and about in the periphery, in the machine, a ghost. Don't say it can't be done, because other people have done it in the past and made their mark and it has helped you change. We'll have to look at things in. It makes a big difference. Everything you do, however you decide to come up with this problem, is an excellent solution. Okay, any of that will help. Now find us, libertytreeradio.4mg. Liberty Tree Radio. When you get there, pass it on to everybody, wherever you can, wherever you go. I do. I've already seen this, postings on the, uh, working out of all the different venues. I've publicly, if you're hearing me talk about it, keep sharing as we speak. Okay. One last request. I know I got to say I'm going to fit it in because I had a whole bunch, a whole bunch that didn't help get it Mark. Well, we're good. There you go. We're good. Through the day, any girls dimension, evening, morning, and day or evening, and we'll act accordingly. and you can leave a music request there. And I played Michael McSilent running a couple times last year to take care of one of our friends who actually is not the only one. A lot of times you guys have heard music here, I guess, and people have pretty good memories. It's amazing. We got the thinkers, they got the stinkers. So I'm gonna play this again for our evening crew. I believe I played it morning and afternoon, but not for the eight o'clock that have not heard it because they can't catch us and they wanted it full. And it's for their entertainment. Well, not only that, but it's... part of what we're doing. We're making history and we're going to make this part of our history too. So here we go. On that song of the unit is they would leave, not necessarily the 7th Cavalry, and in fact was a very comedy of the, somebody headsets and something didn't work. And I of course had to point out with my first email out, I said, did you confirm the model? The response was it looked the same. And it's like, well, it looked the same. Probably I've put it in South Deal. Extreme does this all the time. multiple headsets. They're the same headset. The headset doesn't change. It's the fixture that goes to your radio that changes. And lo and behold, the person had ordered from the wrong category. There's a picture of your headset and then it says, the picture of your headset and then it says, MOVE! Or, you know, ZIMM several. Their headset, he had the right kind of headset and in fact, there is one that's totally compatible with his belt. Something for a young man this many times. It's just easier for them. They just crank out the same picture. They don't do another like everybody was hoping they would like. Maybe have a, well here's a headset. It's very dull. Let's do a bangle from this side, call that the number two, and then do an angle from the other direction and call it number three. Then we'll do a backward shot, call it number four. Well, they don't do that. They expect you if you're ordering something, chances are you're interested and may spend your money right. make a point of doing so. Now if you don't find your unit right away, the radio you have and the headset that you want is sitting there, do a cross reference then on the models that are provided. Remember that you probably have one of those off company names which doesn't have anything to do with what's in the box. In the box it might be a Kenwood, it could be a Baufang, it could be a Baufang, it could be anything, okay? So with that in mind, there is a cross-referencing system to ID which of the connectors will work with your radio. Usually when you do a double tap on the image and pull up more detail, it in many cases has a full cross-reference identifying all of the or most of the different radios that that particular headset fits. OK? Now this is true for headset slash with the R boom mic and headset combinations, throat mic and earpiece combinations, et cetera, et cetera. You're gonna have to do a little research and experimentation, but you gotta read first, guys. They did exactly what you told them to do. You just told them the wrong thing. Okay, so let's not get upset about that. Let's pay attention. I've always pointed out, D, that's the one I want. Yep, that looks like it. Yep, I see the, wait a minute, that's not right. You tapped the one two over. You slid back and you didn't go all the way back to your radio, okay? Now, another thing, I just mentioned, throat mics. There are a wide variety and quality, you know, variant in the throat mics, but all of them work. I haven't run into one that doesn't because the really, really garbage ones have fallen to the wayside years ago, and they started making these things and bringing them in, what, 15, 20 years ago. And all they are is a cheapie Chinese copy of the World War II throat mics that were made for the US military for pilots during World War II, mostly in the bomber crews. made that they'll survive for a while. I would point out that you might want to do some maintenance on the mics, but be very careful. They're not that tough to begin with, but remember that that plastic is designed so it's actually, it's not abrasive, but it is mildly adhesive because it does a brace to the skin. It's designed to be just resistant enough. Fly it all over the place. Well, tacky. Yeah, tacky. It's going to create, your body oils are going to change that, okay? And think about where the throat mic is. Have you ever been out in the field when you sweated? Gravity sucks, doesn't it? And where does all the sweat ride while you're chilling in? There's your throat mic right there. And electricity are never a good thing. One of the considerations is maintenance, and that means doing it even in the field would be a good idea, kind of like with your eyeglasses, having the eyeglass patch cleaner. Don't just use your T-shirt, that'll scratch up those lenses. It's true with that throat mic. You might want a little baggie, a little clean kit for it and every once in a while you want to clean that area of your neck because that's another thing that's going to build up crud and you're feeling real cool and you got the sand kicking up behind the vehicle there or the putty dust from the secondary Michigan streets and roads. That dust that builds up especially in the summer and it's kicking up behind you. You're not the lead vehicle. You're number two, three, four, five or six. And that dust all comes down and you're sweating and a sweat commutes all that dirt. And the dirt collects all in spots where it builds up. And then it starts to abrase and then you start to get kind of itchy and yeah, I see this is a spiraling down scenario. It's not going to kill you. It's just in advance, be prepared for that. And again, do regular maintenance. And that's what handkerchiefs and bandanas are actually for. So utilize them, okay? Also again, be prepared to clean this stuff up, this is gonna get dirty. We are headed out for everybody out there in communications. Tuesday is over for the intel report, but it isn't over for you guys. You can still run out to the truck stop and pick up a CB radio, 110 and a plug and put your car together. That's what you should be doing if you haven't done it yet. Meanwhile, I got 100 2x6x9, hurry up, 2x6x9 footers. I'm gonna move up tonight or wait till tomorrow. Maybe I'm lazy. Now, Actually, they're safe where they are. Ahh, I don't know.
