A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat and speaking low to me, he said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost. You're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free, of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate. And your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken a number and you've traded in your name. You've given government control. 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, I have no contact in my ear. I've very faint-meared something is not like beauty. You're loud and clear of my gut and shame. Very good. 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3. You're loud and clear of my servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. Your daughters visit doctors so their children won't leave. One, two, three, if you copy your... You have the sand artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torture freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he'd vanished in the mist from whence he came. His words were true, not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each god-given right, we only watch and tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep, and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave, dill the land of the free? Out there protecting us and keeping an eye on us? Well, that's a like 1984. They for- what a twit! Some left this little rat coat- that was incorporated into some stupid story. Our friends out there, it is a beautiful, beautiful Wednesday. Phenomenal day. Do we have done with this? Yes, it is. There we go. We got done and it's been, first it was clear and cool, then it was clear and getting warmer and then we got those lensing because you'll never get anything done. Otherwise, just keep plugging away. Got some more grass mowed, got some other components and critical equipment squared away. One of the things I'm doing, Don, is an ongoing thing. I'm working on props for the science fiction series we're going to be doing, too, which is screwing stuff together and painting it, screwing it together, and then doing another additional coat of paint to blend in or blend in anything that looks a little strange. The idea behind this is that propping is a matter of taking all the junk that looks alien and making it look even more unique and alien or shall we say futuristic and to the point where it's intricate and LED lighting makes up the difference. And now with Christmas LED lighting being thrown out all over the place, But man, I'm telling you, you can make modular sci-fi technology that you can put this way, turn that way, and it's like a 3D multi-dimensional prop set by the time you're done. So that's just an ongoing thing. Never throw a neat chunk away. Oh, that looks exciting. I'll have to screw that to that board over there, along with 20 other things. There you go. In addition to that, of course, we're getting ready for the night vision video. We're working on that. Don, what's it like in your neck of the woods? What's the date today? What's jumping off the wall, please? Hey, as you point out, it's a beautiful day. This is the 25th day of May. May's almost gone, you guys. This time next week, we'll be talking about the J word. But, you know, that month that brides like to hear about or like to be promised thereof. At any rate, beautiful, wonderful day. This is the 25th day of... May 2016, you're of our Lord. But you know what? That's the strike down the middle of the week on a calendar. You know, one of those antique things. People used to hang on walls. But with that in mind, with a 1911 in one hand, with an empty magazine well and a full magazine in the other hand, we're just going to solve the empty magazine well problem in the chamber too. All in one fell swoop. But we can tell you it is a weapons Wednesday. The perimeter needs some attention. And as we top off this magazine, it's also worthy to be mentioning that there's plenty more out there to be had if you're pulling the lever on your reloading. Now we can offer equal opportunity, coercive force against the enemy. And in 1911, personal hand cannon, don't forget Zaina.com, www.zaina.com for an AR-15 M4 knockoff, a liberty rifle. Go to zaina.com and there's your long gun. For those of you who are trying to build a 5.10 program or outfit and arm the rest of the people that you've got. 1911 up on the hip and an AR-15 to the shoulder. Congratulations, good combo. But everyone should. Everyone should have a hand cannon. Everyone, no matter what. I don't care what you buy, I don't care what you pick up. In fact, you can even buy a Glock and you'll be okay. We'll even include the Glockites. Okay, go ahead. This will work even for the Glock fellows, the upcoming little diatribe from Don. But we talk about Hollywood and how many people have you seen in Hollywood even those that are supposed to be professionals, you know, they're pay killers that have a hold of the gun. They'll drop a magazine to the floor. No problem. But they've got the next magazine in their hand almost like it's a pistol grip and they insert it into the magazine well and then they move their hand around there and then they push the magazine up in there and then they're done. How about, and we've described this before, lay that magazine in your hand. If it's your right hand, if you're left handed, all this, I'll even go out on a limb here for all of you guys that aren't left handed. You've got that in 1911, or your favorite Glock, or your Ruger, or your whatever. As long as it's a magazine fed gun in your right hand. Lay that magazine out flat. in your left hand. Just to the point where when you turn your fingers up like you're curling or starting to make a fist, it lifts that magazine right in the fold in the palm of your hand. So it's not going to go back any farther. Now you have a natural feel for the plane, the flat side of the magazine. You have a natural feel for the plane, the flat side of the gun. When you bring these two together, That magazine just goes right in there. The fingertips get out of the way in the palm of the hand, almost to the heel area of the hand. You know, like the heel of your foot just guides the magazine home. I'd repeat that if you'd like. It's a basic action. It happens in one motion. If you pick up that magazine like it's a pistol grip and try to put it in there, you're gonna, I'm gonna put three magazines in in a time it takes you to put one in. And maybe not all at once, but over the course of the gunfight that certainly could make a difference. Again, for you left-handers, I'll give it to you. Your Glock is in your left hand there, that magazine comes up flat. Flat! The bullets are pointed away from your body, toward your thumb. That's the way to put it. The tips of the bullets, in this end, is pointed at your thumb. because that just means as you swing these two planes together the plane that is the palm you know the flat area that matters not if it's level to the ground or pointing up in the air you're going to have that feel that reference you've worked with your hands all of your life this is one of the reasons why this was discovered and then taught to other people because that magazine is clear from the I've got about an inch and a quarter of magazine beyond my fingertips. It's in the magazine well now. My finger moved just beyond the top of the hand and the fingers that are holding the gun at the same moment. The palm just slapped that magazine home. I don't need to describe it a third time, do I? It's a very simple action. If no one's ever taught it to you, we'll have to show that to you on YouTube or something or maybe the guy down the street can show you. The guy who wasn't thought to pick up that magazine like it's a pistol grip. Thank you, Mark. And again, a reminder that said 1911, the hand cannon, it doesn't really mean it was which handgun it is. The procedure Don described for pretty much all of your autoloaders, unless you have a broom handle mouser and you got a stripper clip for the front, you know, and you know, up there in the front magazine well, or a Steyr. which takes a top stripper like a, you know, it's one of the older Stires, model 1910, takes an upper stripper. Beyond that, pretty much all those pistol grip mounted magazine wells work the same way. Clocks, 1911, you name it, all of them can be handled with the same procedure and with the same proficiency. Yep. Purely a matter of practice. That difference can mean to drop a magazine and get another magazine back in there. Now if you have the slide open, you're gonna add a little bit more time to touch that slide release, right? Another point to be made here. If the gun fight's going on and you find cover for a moment and you've lost count of how many bullets you've sent down range, but you know you've sent a good portion, might be a good time to change a mag right then and there and do it as the aforementioned procedure is described, then you'll be back in the fight really, really quick. Instead of, oh man, you know every time, if you're not taught to do it right, every time you pick it up, if no one taught you how to do it, every time you pick it up, you might do it different. If you do it different this time, you drop it. It ain't good to drop a magazine in the middle of a gunfight, is it, Mark? Particularly if you're one of those frugal people that, oh, I only need the one in the gun, and if I'm really going in, I might take one more now and then. You can't afford to drop that mag, can you? Real quick here, since it's weapons Wednesday, a reminder, we always look for ammunition where you're desperately in need of something unique perhaps. I mentioned the company SurplusM.O.com, SurplusM.O.com, SurplusM.O.com, they have just received a shipment of Prevea partisan. You know how I love PP, you know, PPU ammo. Because PPU ammo is reloadable guys and you know, Prevea works and then it works again and again and again and again and again and again as long as you pay attention, pick up the brass, right? Well, there's a couple things they've got that had people asking for and one of them, first of all, right off the bat, everybody always asks if they win. Mark, if you ever see any 10 millimeter ammo, let people know. 50 rounds of 10 millimeter, 170 grain JFP, preview partisan ammo, brand new in the box, boxer prime, brass case, non-corrosive and ready to roll. And that's F, let's see, JFP for $18.99, that's $19, we'll accept that. Also, they have some reloadable 7.62x54R. Now, this is factory 150 grain SPBT, but it's, again, Boxer Prime heat annealed brass case. This is the reloadable stuff. So, for those of you looking for building up your own load, especially for those Dragonovs, or if you have one of those PU sniper rifles, PU, then guess what? There's the ammunition for you once you got the brass, and once you shoot it in the rifle, it's formed. That's your first step. then the load you come up with is yours. In other words, make that gun sing at maximum range. Last is, a lot of guys have been asking about this and I don't know, it's just catch as catch again. I haven't had any come in for a bit. 45-70, government, 405 grain, SJFP, and it's 28.99. Little more than it's been the last time. They've usually been a lot cheaper on this, but the ammunition, usually they go with a ball or a Simple soft point. Apparently, in this case, yeah. I don't see anything, you know, unique about it, but the 405 grain bullet is a little lighter than some of you probably shoot, since you can go up to a 500 grain on the 45-70 easily. But a 405 is a good load, a good bullet. Now, lots of freight train energy there, guys, and this is a smokeless case cartridge. Works in all your black powder trap doors without blowing them up and works in all your lever action Marlins That's what a lot of guys have here the 444 Marlin or 45 70 and the real big bore Marlin lever actions Don't get rid of those guns. Those are those are freight trains going down range You know what they don't have for velocity They make up for in like twice the weight of another bullet out there coming down at you When that hits things go sideways They really do. They stagger and go sideways. The ham fist coming at you. Yeah. So I really love these particular loads. And again, good solution. Heat and eel, brass case, boxer prime, non-corrosive, and it's 45-70 govern. That's at surplus ammo dot com. It's not the only thing that they have. They do have, of course, you know, a number of different calibers that apparently have come in. So check their ammunition. That's why they're called surplus ammo dot com. They have surplus too, by the way. This is not surplus. This is stuff from the brand new shipment from the factory. Also, a 300AA blackout, 125 grain custom load there. It's not everybody expected. Hornady, which Hornady is not always the cheapest. They have a tendency to buy somebody else's stuff and then get kind of smacked. But they do have a number of different loads that are unique. So too numerous to mention. Easy for you to just go to the page. They have mag pull PMAG M2s, MOE 30 rounders for $10.49 a piece. Not a bad price for those. And especially if you're looking for AR mags for those ARs, keep them functional. If you buy one of Luca's rifles at zaina.com at zaina.com, then you're going to need magazines. And you want to pick up mags immediately, at least get 10. At least 10 right off the bat. More would be better then pass that whatever one you got left throw it in ammunition because you're gonna need lots of ammo if you bought a semi Not that I expect you to spray and pray you better not but there is some pretty good work can be done there They do have some other exotic ammunition on the sheet Well always I hate when I see some of this stuff. They've got some 44 special 44 snw special unbox of It's a hyper jacket load over a dollar a round and it's like, 44 Smith and Wesson Special should cost less than 44 Magnum. If they're doing 44 Magnum in a production run, guys, all you do is ratchet down the dies. 44 Smith and Wesson Special is to 44 Magnum and 38 Special is to 357 Magnum. So it's not a special cartridge. There's nothing that they don't already have on the shelf for this. It's ready to roll. Same powders, same primer, case is a little shorter. All you would do is ratchet back the dies and start cranking stuff out and it should cost the same price or less. But they charge more for 44 Smith & Wesson Special right now than they do for 44 Magnum. It doesn't make any sense to me. I mean, it always pisses me off when I see stuff like that. It's kind of like, again, let it, I'm going to let it gasoline back in the 70s. All gasoline was unleaded, but they were charging you ten cents more because you were getting that special, unleaded gas. Didn't you know that? And it's like, yes, and I explain that to people, and my dad did, over and over he goes, all gasoline comes from the factory unleaded. They have to add the lead, and they're charging us less for adding the lead than they are for buying, quote unquote, unleaded gasoline. They're charging us more for the unleaded. This is ludicrous. Everybody's like, no, no, they told us it was special. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you're special kids off the bus too, I understand that. So, you know, anyway, just a little heads up on that one. Always agitates me, but the clothes that, you know, there are some unique clothes out there, some that are just expensive across the board. Some people love them for a particular mission. I know everybody's got some. Silver chip, it's not quite as expensive as the dollar round, but for a while there it was almost as pricey, just as, you know, a unique new round and new on the block and everybody wanted it. It's all good ammunition. I don't care what it is. Whatever you show up with, whatever you can spend the money on, I'm not complaining about that. It's just the idea if it could show up with more and it's serviceable and you get the job done, try to put as much on the plate for you as we can. That's how you got to think about it. Do you have enough ammunition to load up all the empty mags you have? That should be your first goal. And not with the most expensive, but with the field grade ball ammunition that you can get the most for the least so you can get everything loaded and even reload again. Then you start looking for unique. Once you fired the weapon enough, you go, hmm, I think I could use a more specialized bullet in this thing. And I'm shooting with some guys that got a few cool ideas. And I think I can copy what they're doing. So I can understand that. But step one, get on the table, get to a certain level so that you can perform and sustain your action. I've got these really cool rounds. They cost like $3 apiece. I have 20 of them. I have one 20 round mag filled and I have 15 other mags empty but no ammunition for them. See, it doesn't work. And again, if at all possible, your goal, step one, off ammo, load every mag you got. Step two. They look really good in the pouch, though. Yeah, they look quite sophisticated. My magazine pouches are flat. I don't have something in them. I just can't do anything with it. So, that's another issue. Also, they have at surplusammo.com, arms core, 22 Winchester Magnum, rimfire, 1,000 rounds, for $339.99. Now that's not bad, it's a 22 Magnum rimfire. A 22 rimfire mag has always been expensive, it's always more expensive. I would point out that when they did the prototyping for the XM16, when the XM was originally reading research in its earliest phase, they proposed using 22 Magnum as the primary cartridge, you guys. They built rifles in the prototyping phase and demonstrated that not only could they get them to work, it was again lightweight, delivered a bullet almost as heavy as what they were planning on using, and they came up with a number of new custom loads. Those were adopted. The rifle wasn't adopted, 223 Remington instead, which is scaled down 30-06. just purely in all dimensions. That's all they did. They took all the dimensions of the 30-out-6 round, compressed them in all directions, and brought you the 223 Remington slash the 556 NATO. I have to imagine, Mark, that one day someone in the factory up in the upper floors, they're leaning over a draft board, someone came and put their hand on his shoulder and said, Don, you can't do that. And he looks up, Don looks up and says, why? And he says, the Hague Convention. But we could do a two to three. Yeah, by another hundredth of an inch. We can't use- Talk about playing with numbers and measures. Yeah. In fact, it's one of those fasting things where it's like, what are you talking about? It's inhumane to shoot a combatant with a 22 caliber mark. But we can go just a little farther. It might wound him, yeah. You know, that is what happened by the way. It's so we can't carry a .22 caliber gun, but we can carry a .223 gun. Of course then the Russians said, well you're basically violating the law, so let's just go to 545. Give me something about it, right? You'll notice that there wasn't, after we came up with a .223 weapon first, there wasn't any room for squawk or yap when the Russians came up with a 545. That's how they got into the business. That's why they did it. Well of course they had their own ideas about projectiles and all the other fun stuff. And before I forget here real quick, they do have some not too outrageously priced 38 Smith & Wesson Special, 44 Special, 240 grain lead, 80 rounds, again, $28.99. It's Magtech, they make good ammunition. I don't care about, I don't care about, you know, you know what you say guys, Magtech has, you know, got a long history now, they've performed well. Lots of their ammunition is out there. Tons and their 9mm. God, I don't even know how much they've made, how many millions or tens of millions. This particular load is a lead round nose charter bulldog. If you got one of those little 3 inch charters, don't ever get rid of it. That is a hand cannon like that 1911. Small, medium weight, very compact, and when it hits you it's got a lot of bump. If that's what you have right now, I wouldn't change out for the time being. You got a good gun. It's only a five shot, but just buy more ammo and pick up more speed loaders. I used to carry five speed loaders with that, at least. And then I'd carry ammunition and loops hidden around on the clothing in different locations and on the belt. That way it was distributed, wasn't real obvious, and it was flat. And they've got little flat loop carriers, guys. I used to get them all the time for nothing. I mean, they were cop shop items. And again, if you've got one of those little bulldogs, they aren't going to fall apart on you. They can take the standard or even the hotter loads without any difficulty with a three inch barrel. It's got enough energy so it will get the job done. There used to be a lot of bailiffs like that gun. The only thing that changed is everybody got in their idea, they got it stuffed up their panties that all of these cops were under the county sheriff, were under MJTF and under the FEMO scam. should all be carrying the same gun so they pushed them out of carrying that little five inch belly gun that was so popular. Most everybody knew that, they experimented with it or had to use it, is that one round from a .44 or .45 usually did a pretty good job of convincing someone not to do much more of anything. So if you've already got it, maybe you inherited it as a dad's gun, those things came out back in the 70s. They're still out there, charter is being remade and there's a punch. now in adjustable sights, bull barrels, you name it that are in the charter five shot, three inch or four inch guns. So good little weapon. Other mag tech and other ammunition, too numerous to mention. They got a whole bunch of stuff in that they just picked up, just came in. And whatever you're looking for, you'll go and do it on your own. I can't help you out here. They're just kind of pointing in the right direction. Surplus ammo dot com. Surplus ammo dot com. They don't advertise with us. They don't benefit except they have all of you better armed by doing this. Okay, that's the reason for doing it, is to get everybody up to speed, up to snuff, and squared away. Go ahead, caller. Hey, this is Carl in Virginia. Hey, I've always been wondering if you're going to do another, an updated version of the Borg mentality video. I think it was 2009, the last one it was made. Oh yeah. The numbers are staggeringly high now. Even with that being said, I've spent quite a bit of time in the range. I think I only have time to see people come in and they don't own any ammunition, but they own lots of guns. They come in, they buy the ammunition they're going to shoot at the range there and they shoot every single round and they walk away and they don't own a single round of ammunition. They won't acknowledge it, yeah. Or what move they have. They have something probably at home for defense. But not as much as they should have you know that's that that idea all I got a hundred rounds for the gun not enough You know just enough to get you in trouble, right? Yeah, this is the five-stop revolver crowd. This is people with multiple ar-15 and Glocks and everything And they've been pushed into still the same idea. Well, while I need 100 rounds, you'll hear this repeated. This is that, it's like the crack dealers talking about how they were slinging $5,000 on the corner every day. And it's like really, why are you bumming cigarettes in? There's this mindset that's part of the you know, my little finger up and my nose in the air routine that we're shooters We're not we're not crazy people trying to defend ourselves. Yeah. Okay. Well, that's nice to know Anyway, there's this magic number like I said, you know, I've got about a hundred rounds for the gun at home Why would I need more and like you said you're gonna go to their gato to the range and it's like milk bottles You know, you're you know, you're buying fill up full milk bottles and then you they sweep up the empties. Okay That's where the problem is. There's a percentage out there that are like that. You're really not gonna easily change them except I keep mentioning, wow, look how short a time it takes for you to burn out this much ammunition. Boy, I hope you got more at home. How long it'll take for you to burn out? How much ammo did you get? Oh, oh, oh, about a couple hundred rounds. How long it'll take you to shoot it here? So if you were in an exchange, which apparently you bought these rifles for defense, a couple hundred rounds probably wouldn't last you too long now, would it? go pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew like you're doing here. See that's the first thing I point out when people say, well who would I need it for? What would I... Well how much ammunition did you shoot at the range today? How long did it take you to do it? And every time you go to the range you always say, man it always seems like we didn't bring enough. Am I right? You know I am. So that's what we need to concentrate on, just hammer these people. Hey, and by the way to do the video you're right, one of the things See, every week, well, forgive me, every month we've been breaking records now. And everybody is voting with their wallet to demonstrate their confidence in what's going on. But let's figure this out. Even if, like we said, if everybody, okay, if 2.7 million people, you know, requested, and we're going to go with their low numbers, because you know that when they get a request to purchase a firearm, that a lot of these people are getting their first, you know, handgun, rifle, and shotgun. They're getting three weapons in many cases, if not more. Some requests are for 10 or 20 weapons, I won't worry about that, because just as many are single purchases. So it rounds out that, well, we'll give them the numbers that they give us. But we also know that there's probably a lot more that are actually being purchased. Well, if you got 2.7 million firearms in a month, then if you have just one cartridge sold to each person, how many rounds is that? 2.7 million cartridges, but you can pretty well figure if somebody bought a gun they bought at least 50 rounds for a pistol at least and typically more So let's see if we bought a hundred rounds per then what does that come to 2.0 wait a minute Yeah, 2.7 million and everybody bought a hundred rounds Isn't that like a hundred and two hundred wow wait a minute 100 times 2 million is 200 million, isn't it? 200 million rounds in a month. Now you can't tell me that that isn't the case, and here's why. Okay, there's that one person that only buys one box ammo. Or two. But still, like I said, if it's a pistol, that's 100 rounds right there. How many people bought a .22 rifle and bought 500 round bricks of ammunition? How many people bought a shotgun and bought a case ammo? And here's the thing that really changes the numbers up so that even if there's somebody that's low that only bought one 20-round box of ammo, maybe they bought a night dresser gun and they figured, well, we only need 20 rounds. For everyone that might do that, which is the minority, the absolute minimalist minority, which there would be like, I would say that would be less than one hundredth of a, you know, well, one tenth to one hundredth of a percentage point at the best. It's probably much lower than that. Well, for everyone that does that, there's the other guy that just, you know, filled the back of the pickup truck with ammo. So, in reality, if you look at it for one month, how many millions of rounds when they always told the government bought this much ammo? Really? We did that in two or three weeks. If not, the month. And we still have every month where we're pumping the same way. And I don't know anybody who buys a firearm who isn't buying some ammunition. So there's the other part about it, like you said, you know, killing the boric myth, you know, you know, it's feudal resistance, you'll be absorbed, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. We can beat that down. And again, magazines the same way. They're pumping out mags, and we're seeing right now just a few packed deals. Like I told you guys, the October window was the best. It's not really coming down much, but there are, you know, we're hovering around 10, $11 will get you a good magazine. There are a few packaged deals where it's been eight, maybe about 850 apiece. uh... that's all the prices especially since most of the magazine offered have been the first generation magpoles and by the fed many times well why did you buy magpole bags in the first place all because they worked in you like them so when they went from the first to second generation does that mean all the first generation ones became obsolete and they all like curled their toes up and or became useless all they were just as good as the only when you bought them for the reason you bought them So if more of the first gen are available, they're not bad magazines, are they? Same with the second gen. It's like, oh, the second gen, they've made modifications, or they've got a little different haul design. That's good. I like those. And when you can get those down below $10 or for $10, you're doing pretty good. So you can't really complain. And then there's many, many, many other options. Right now, I don't see a whole lot of There are some other bundles that are being offered by different places, but you're going to have to shop around. cdnandinvestments.com, cdnandinvestments.com, copesdistributing.com, copesdistributing.com. Also, CentrifierSystems.com. They've actually had some interesting little bundle packages going on there. CentrifierSystems.com. And this lot forget JG Sales out there in Prescott, Arizona. There's a lot of other companies out there, but JG Sales been around a long time. Every once in a while they make deals on cool stuff, which definitely makes it worthwhile. Okay. So Don, anyway, night vision before everybody farther. How long you gonna be able to stick around today, sir? I'm here for the top mark. Very good. Okay, well, if I get you right now, let us know. How can we get a hold of you? Where's the webpage? What do we have, sir? Please. Well, if you want to go over and see parts, this will do it in this format, in this, you know, array. If you want to go over and see parts at the website, that's Y-D-T-O-E dot U-S. That's Yankee, Delta, Tango, Oscar, Echo, dot... You know, you are. And I did that is because well you can read some text and you can see some parts and you can scroll down and see more parts and of a different variety and go even farther and there's another flavor and in every category you'll see gun sights. The digital and the green screen and the thermal you'll see gun sights. But you have any questions or you look and you say that can't be the real price, give me a call. We'll talk about the real price. We'll talk about what This, that, or the other... Now there's a cliche you haven't heard on the hour in a long time. What this, that, or the other thing will do. As example, this, the digital, well it's about 90% of what first generation used to be. You're going to want to turn on the illuminator when it gets dark. Second generation cures most of that problem unless, you know, clouds come in and there ain't no moon box because light comes right down through the clouds, infrared. If there's no stars or moon in the sky, well, you're kind of itching to turn on the illuminator with the second generation. You'll still produce a good picture with the third generation. Granted, its range will be shorter. We've pointed that out as of late because thermal isn't dependent on light. That would be the next category that you scroll into, you know, this, that. That's the other thing. Get there, you'll see a good variety of price and performance. Well, the entry level will allow you to see a human being and know that that's a human being. 340 meters, that's uh, 5 yards. That's entry level. I've got a real good price on that, but I can't talk about it on the air. If you'd like it at a better price than $51 less than $2,000, give me a call. My number is 231958. Again, 231796. Going to the other end of the scale on the thermal stuff, well, man you're looking at a device that is five power minimum and fifty power at the top of its magnification digital magnification now that device will allow you to recognize a human being at fifteen hundred meters that's you know let's pick up the stone and throw it and throw it again and if you got a good arm well that's you're only that much short of a mile at fifteen hundred meters that's sixteen hundred and some yards I can't remember good long ways toward a mile now you might say that well I don't need to see a mile we've been a proponent for a good long time of citing the opposition for they cite you. When farther out for that to happen, that's fine, isn't it? Because now you have the ability to maneuver. Then that 5x54, that thermal devices, well, that's gonna run like 599.99 list. Let's say I can do a lot better than that. If you're looking around and you see it on the internet, get that price down and give me a call on 231-74-7. Again, 231796oe.us. Well, the stranger, when Don Betcher is available, that makes no sense. Give him a call or check out the webpage first. Now, I would highly recommend, pay attention to what we're saying here, you really need to contact Don when you really want something. When you look at the page, remember that gives you pictures, very pretty pictures. Numbers are different, okay? And when I say that, I am emphasizing for a reason that you do so, okay? Now, put the night vision on, you know, there were several people asking again, actually we were talking this morning about the CETME rifles. You know what, I didn't ask our caller in the morning, Don, there is a, this new CAI C308 CETME HKG-3 pattern semi-auto rifle that Century Arms International came out with. JG Sales has it for $700 a gun, which is not bad. Some people have shot them and said, hey, they got no problem. Others, well, they just haven't discussed for a century right from the get-go because of past experience. And we can relate to that. We understand what they're lamenting about. That may be the rifle. I did not ask about the type of flash height around the gun. And I'm going to do that this morning and ask our friend to call back in. And the reason I say that is because this has a 19-inch barrel, number one. It's that in-between barrel. It's not a 16. 18 is the next most common in the PTRs. This is a 19 inch barrel with a V-shaped chevron compensator. That would be the identifier on that gun. And I would be curious about that because he didn't dispose of it, but rather slid it sideways to another member of the people that he knows that was looking for a .308 rifle and looking for an HK or something to get to the shoulder for a reasonable price. And he did, okay? That's why I really want to know more about that gun because we have somebody who actually had one of these in hand that's been taking it out and was experimenting with it. The gun has a picatinny rail on it right from the get-go just like they're doing on the PTRs now so that Don's night vision would slide right on the roof of that weapon. Just a little heads up, when you see those rails, understand what Don just described. Don would go right on that firearm, wouldn't it? So if you're looking for something to go onto the site, you've already decided you're going to get a site. And by the way, again, look at the web page and then understand that those numbers you see are not your numbers. In order for you to get the real numbers, you need to call Don. Once you do that, you're going to be very happy and very happy indeed. So JG Sales has got a bunch of other interesting things. They do have some SKS's with crack stocks. Those are not big deal crack stock issue I've got one that we know what about when they first came in for $69 apiece the same time they had the Hakeem's for 69 and guys that rifle is one of the most accurate as cases I have Not pretty on the outside But I'll tell you what God help you if you're in front of it on you know as far as what's gonna do Whatever's on the inside of it. It's gonna be inside you pretty soon. Uh-huh. Yeah, if you're in front of it. You're not friendly Okay, go ahead caller John from Kentucky. I talked to you this morning about that. Is that me? There we go. Yes. Did that happen? Go ahead. That was a, had an 18 inch barrel on it. I couldn't describe the flash hider. And a chevron, like a V in the front? Yeah, and it holds all the way around. That pepper box with a chevron. Yeah, okay. Well, now wait a minute. Hold on. Now you're describing. Let me look here and see what they've got on this thing. I've got a picture. I don't know. Here we go. Okay, now I got a better picture. I don't know if it was an aftermarket or not, but if I remember, I think it did not look the same. It was part of us, the gun was black. Right, well this Chevron, okay, this thing has a V notch in the front, like it's flat towards the back of the receiver, but you know, as far as where, towards where the receiver or the rear side, the front sight would be. It's flat, and then it's cut on an angle forward. Is that what you had? Okay, that's a... Yes, that's a Chevron, okay? Okay. So that was a Chevron Pepperbox, that's what this, you probably had one of these. That's the rifle I was curious about because, see this weapon just came out not too long ago. I think they even had it at the shot show. Although it was already out before the shot show, it was still a new firearm for them as far as something they've put together. So that's probably what you had, right there. This was a, I think it was a 308E four digit serial number. That's what we're looking at. That's okay. There we go. See, you know, I just jogged my memory of what we were talking about this morning. So that is one of the new guns. Now, I believe that the barrels, hold on, might be the right up here. There was like a picatinny rail, of course. Yeah, adjustable flip rear sight. Did it have the adjustable flip rear sight? Yeah, there was like three sites and one kind of a notch. Yep. Okay, that's it then. Okay, we got the rifle. We're on that one, black synthetic stock. I'm just looking to see because, OK, wait a minute, here we go. Setme G3 pattern rifle features a 19-inch barrel with V-shaped Chevron compensator and a form steel receiver. Of course, we know that with a rubber block. Yes, that's typical. It's an HK. They don't mention the barrel in this article. There's another one right up that I saw that gave me the information on the barrel. I'm going to have to dig it out. The barrels were built for that for a century, I'm pretty sure. I don't think they used a standard barrel. I think they actually had to use, you know, because it's not the polygon barrel. I think they had to build a barrel in country. Chop barrels up, they can't yield. It depends. I mean, I don't know who's really come up with any code on this. It's a matter of how much you pay off the bat faggots about what you could use or do. You know, from the manufacturing end. So that's the rifle then. Okay, that had a rail on the roof, had a picatinny rail on the roof. There you go. It was welded on. Yep. Now, okay, it was welded. It's not screwed. Yes. Okay, good. Okay, well, it's not going anywhere then. Yeah, we're... Oh, no. Wherever it is, it's permanently affixed. Now, here's the other thing, was I was pointing out, now the gun you had, like you were telling us, We're getting case splits along the throat and a little along the shoulder or down towards the body of the case. This is the case. Okay, see that's forming with regard to the tooling that made that as far as I'm concerned, I don't believe it's head spacing. If it was head spacing, we'd see the fractures farther to the base. Also, that could be, again, a bare number of other issues, both improperly faced to the receiver. What? That could be done, huh? What percentage of damage? Every one? One in 20? Not nine out of ten rounds. National match brass. And we don't want to do any more of that. We won't do that with that ammunition now. We're going to use some other ammunition. You know, Hertenberg or Schmitzberg or Blatstein-Emo, but don't shoot the national match once you know you've got a problem. The weapon functions. It ejected the brass completely. What was the print like on the paper? Not that good. I was probably around three inches or so. Okay, let's go ahead. Find one of your buddies who has the same chamber and send about four of those out of that lot downrange just to either confirm or condemn the lot. Well, you don't think it's the lot. I think you've got an oversized diameter chamber, not necessarily long, just oversized diameter. Right. This is actually seen on the Oh, the die there. Somebody leaned on the chamber reamer. Not necessarily for depth though, but for oversize and I could be wrong about that. That's why I say take the breast to another chamber, same, you know, same caliber and send four or six of them down range. See if you see even one failure. Well, you're using this in M1A right now and you've never had that happen, right? A national match in 1A, it's an M21. You see, so the ammunition is pretty well over-squared away on that. The reason I brought this up is because, as I pointed out, I don't know if you heard the rest of what we were talking about, using the gun as a squad gun. You know, the weapon is functioning, it ejects the brass, it puts a bullet down range, it prints on paper, so it's not spread all over, like one's going to 12 o'clock, the other one's down at 9 o'clock, and you know, off the paper almost. It's staying within a group that's reasonable for a cone of destruction. See, because what I would do with that gun is take, since you've already got it, and it is functioning. Number one, I would prioritize Steel Case or Berdam Prime Damo towards that gun. because it's cheaper and less likely you're going to be able to work with it. Now, I still hate blowing up brass, but the idea is I put an M14, an M14A, what is it, A2E2 bipod on it, and then maybe even get a rear riser, one of the cheap rear riser cheek weld pieces that you can buy for that rifle for the PTRs in the HKs. And then by one of the 75, well no there are 50 round drums and you got yourself a squad gun. You know what I mean? I've discussed that with my friend this afternoon. Yeah, boom boom boom, boom boom boom boom. It would be great because, no, it didn't have the carry handle, right? No, sir. Okay, they do make a carry handle for it and it's not that expensive. They run about $4 to $9 a piece and they're an offset. They're just like on the FAL. designed so that it goes right, if you see where the knock is, right in front of the receiver on the upper hand guard, there's a, well you can't see it very well here even. Kailh's not good enough. But anyway, there's a company that's already making a, it's a clamp on, and it actually doesn't impede the gun in any way, but what it also does is when you're carrying it, when you pick the carry handle up, it intentionally pivots the magazine away from your leg. You know what I mean? It's a smart move. The FAOs were built the same way. Most people would think, well, it's not carrying it right. And it's like, think about it. You want that thing beating up your leg every so many seconds while you're chugging along with it? Let's say you're just trying to run along. You're tired. It's been a long day. People are trying to kill you. I'm getting poked in the leg every minute. It's like, oh, man. So they actually thought it through. It's a good feature. You know, the round mag. The mags, in fact. Let me see if I can find them real quick, because Most everybody is carrying them now. Uh oh, I'll tell you what, stay right where you are. Don, you're gonna take off, sir, right? Okay, let's do this. We're gonna pick this up, we come back on the other side. Guys, we're serious. Call Don to find out about pricey on the webpage is what has to be there.
