Mark Koernke and Don discussed perception versus reality, using parachute physics as an analogy for how people misinterpret visual information. They extensively analyzed the September 11 attacks, arguing that the towers' collapse was not caused by aircraft impact but by controlled demolition, and that Building 7 and the Pentagon were also destroyed through other means. They attributed responsibility to Israeli and U.S. government actors. The show pivoted to preparedness topics, featuring Don discussing night vision and thermal imaging technology for tactical field operations, including detailed scenarios on how to deploy mixed teams of three thermal and two night vision devices (or vice versa) under different lighting conditions, with emphasis on team communication and complementary capabilities.

I had a dream the other night that, well, understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said, We've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this the land of the free, the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money is spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper, so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number, you've traded in your name, you've given government control to those who do you harm, so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm, and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail, harass your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors, so their children will be. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores, and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave. O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God-given right, and pray to God to torture freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he'd vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each god-given right, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep, and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave the land of the free? Okay, well it is been a beautiful, beautiful day today. Weather varied, of course, quad covered mix, but some sunshine and some snow-bally rain, so it's a mix of weather. Don, what's it like in your neck of the woods? What's the next day? Let's jump in off the wall, please. Hey, this is the 29th day of March. Year of our Lord, 2000 and... 2016 yeah the calendar on the wall says so it's a beautiful day ever so slight the breeze We're into the low 40s. It didn't get real warm, but for this time of year. It's just a wonderful day It's one of the oldest day member of the end of March from when I was I remember is a day like this just a beautiful day late in the winter want to do this here because this is a Bemis of an argument. We've brought this to the hour before and times are experiencing it or looking at it me Mark and we've all seen sequence of events that I'm going to run by. Now, imagine this, you're looking at that invasion force and over there through the window being filmed by the camera. That's a key thing here now. Remember camera and perspective, point of view. Now, I'm told and I had a talk with someone who jumped out of planes. For the military, they call them static jumps when you jump and the cord pulls the parachute out. You know that, Mark. But you guys, they call that a static cord jump because it formally, it doesn't, you know, somebody doesn't open their parachute right away and somebody else counts to four and it legs uniformly. It almost guarantees a parachute to open. uniformity and keeping the group tight as long as they're going out of the door real close together. There's a number of reasons why a static court, but again, for safety and almost guaranteeing opening. No, this person was telling me he'd been a jumper in the military and I brought up the perspective thing about, well, you know what's funny to me? How many peeves that when you pull your parachute, when you go up. argument with an argument almost coming to, you know, almost physically, yeah, I'm going to break this bottle on your forehead, you're telling me I'm wrong. You know what I mean? A couple of people are like that. But you do not go up when you pull the cord on your parachute and your parachute deploys. And that person was able to grasp that. But the other thing that, again, this person jumped out of airplane, static cord, parachute jumps. He says, you know when you jump out of the airplane, you swing on the end of that static cord and there's a lot of drag that, there's so much drag of that parachute coming out that you actually swing on that static cord. And you know when you look, you can see those guys swinging on the end of that cord as the parachute comes out. Well, here's someone who has a grasp to a certain extent of, you know, two pieces of mass in motion and one slows down and the other angles the camera back. and it appears as if the guy whose parachute opened it, it actually appears as if he went up. In reality, the guy holding the camera continued down at the early boats we're traveling at. He could understand that. But he also thought that there has to be so much drag, Mark, at the end of that parachute, at the end of that static cord, when the parachute starts to get pulled out, that you swing on the end of that cord. And I thought about that for an instant. And you know, That's another misperception, but this goes over to what you're looking at and what you're experiencing and what you think is going on. But you have to understand that as soon as you step out of the plane, you're not traveling as fast as the plane anymore, right? Even if you're not traveling down, but gravity still works. That's why the guy's wearing a parachute, right? No. You step out of that door. The drag of the air moving past is going to slow you. You're going to experience that immediately. You're going to experience gravity immediately. You start to fall down and you start to move backward. And as that static cord starts to deploy and actually come to its end, you're falling down and you're falling backward. And it appears because there's an arch in that cord that look at he's swinging on the end of the cord. There's nothing of the sort going on. just told you what is happening. This is even deeper into the argument, Mark, of you go up when you deploy your parachute. And again, this goes back over to what people see, what they think is going on, versus what is really happening. And to take that even to someone who's a static chord jumper, the word was, you get snatched up at the end of that chord. He kept saying that over and over. That's the feeling. You get snatched up by that cord. No, that's the cord. Just tugging the feet, the beginning to tug the parachute out. And you, you're not swinging on the end of that cord. You're slowing down and you're falling. And that's what, when you look at it from a distance, from another airplane, that's what seems to create that swinging motion. You're not swinging on the end of that. Why not just grab onto it and swing the other way? I know, on a star and all of that. Well, I'm getting a little goofy there. But again, I brought this to the hour mark, only as a basic example of many people, they'll argue onto, I'm going to break this beer bottle over your head. You can see the veins bulging in my neck. have been flexing for a good long time and I haven't sat down in my bar stool for a long time and I'm leaning toward you more and more. I've had that argument with a couple of people about that. And this goes over to, we can take that argument about what people see and what they perceive versus what is real, feed that all in and wrap that up with the garbage in garbage out. You understand that and this is why I brought this to the hour, a great illustration. But the other portion of why I brought this to the hour, Mark, and everybody listening, you know that guy sitting there that he, I'm serious, you know, it's like his eyes are getting bigger. And it doesn't matter if he's got a beer in him or not, or some people, they just, they become so set in their ways. And they will argue the point, even though it is wrong, even though he would put so much information in front of them to combat that information inside their brain that has convinced them that they're right. Because I saw it. I want to run a sidebar because earlier in the day, in the morning hour, a caller was talking about what has ruined plenty of people's lives. And he was talking about television. And one of the things I wanted to interject in that is, you know, that's why television is the reason why Mark and many listeners That's the reason why a whole bunch of people who don't know a whole lot about engineering or concrete and steel and basic harmonics and impact and fuel burn and what they're looking at even to the way the smoke is bleeding from the buildings. When you show them the plane hitting the building the plane hitting the building the building falling down the plane hitting the building the building falling I could do that over and over for the rest of the hour and I couldn't I couldn't say that I could do that you guys you know this I could say the plane hits the building the building falls down the other plane hits the building the building falls down and I could do that at that speed and Consistency for the rest of the hour and we've got like 44 minutes left and then you'd be really mad at me you'd be Many of you would have changed the channel and I wouldn't blame you if every one of you did. I promise you I will not do that. I counted that out. I could probably get about six of those in in a minute. I'll do it one more time. The plane hit the building, the building came down. The other plane hit the other building, the building came down. Golly gee, I slightly altered it. But I guess you could get about six of those in in a minute. And if you multiply that by about 45, I am more than certain that's far short of the number of times most of America and lots of the world saw on the television the powers coming down over and over and over. I didn't believe it when they first saw it. That's unbelievable. I didn't know. I couldn't. It's never happened before if they didn't believe it when they first saw it. That subtlety, that power of suggestion, of seeing it over again. to the point that many people having no other knowledge for certain are convinced, Mark and every listener, that those towers came down because the airplanes crashed into them. And that's the fault. And oh by the way, that other building just collapsed because the airplanes flew into the towers right next to that other building. And many people believe that unto the today. Why? Because I'm gonna do this again. They saw the airplane fly into the building and it fell down and they saw the other airplane fly into the other building and it fell down and I could repeat that unto, well at least for the rest of the hour and underscore it, more people saw that those towers come down repetitively over and over in the news and in memoriam and in this and in that and just because it's the anniversary and a thousand times between. Again, if they weren't convinced, that's the power of television. If they weren't convinced that the powers came down because, well, airplanes crashed into them, they were by the time they'd seen it over and over. I relate the story from Mr. Otto, Jack Otto. He worked in advertising for GM for a while until he decided not to do that anymore. Because, you know, when you get up into the advertising, you know, the tops, a lot of it's mind control and over and over and repetition and whatnot. But the thought was, seven to fourteen times or eleven to twenty times you have to, depending on which school you were taught in, you have to tell the average person. They have to see that many, to see your subject matter, what you're trying to sell them many times before they start to pay attention to it, before it starts to sink in. Stand now, why? Probably a thousand times. Ask your cousin the next time you see him. Hey, remember, ask your brother-in-law. How many times did you think you saw the towers come down on television? If he says 20 or 30 times, he doesn't watch much television. And if he says 20 or 30 times and he watches a lot of television and you know it, challenge him on that. Come on, man. Really? In the garbage out. That only examples, you know, what are you paying attention to? We can go in a number of directions and that was going to be a little portion of, but it offers up the substance of, you don't go up when you open your parachute. and the towers didn't come down because the plane fell into them and I'm not trying to talk to you in some kind of, you know, like Dr. Zeus up and down. It's hard to believe if you look at what's mostly presented, your eyes seem to lie to you. It's just a basic, what one might almost call an optical illusion, it's just a basic phenomenon of speed and velocity and another traveling at the same speed and then slowing. That's not even a phenomenon, that's just basic physics. The other is a basic law. and seeing it over and over and it must be true, Mark. I saw it over and over and it. Oh, by the way, there was another pair of, by Mark, like three or four skyscrapers have burned in the last year and half and they've burned like torches, like Roman candles in place and just burned until they're, well, burned until they didn't fall. They burned out and then they rebuilt them. couldn't do that because I saw 9-11 then yeah I know you saw 9-11. I, doesn't it? You saw a plane go into the building and it fell and then you saw a plane go in the building and it fell then you saw no plane go into a building and it fell that's even worse throwing that third building there and you're not even supposed to think about it. Remember the four buildings that were attacked on 9-11 with three planes in them. What? Well yeah. The other one went down too and It wasn't really hurt by any of the aircraft. It was another project. It was the other project. There was another plane or drone or something it was supposed to hit. It just didn't make it to its target. So they went ahead with a lie anyway. Well, there were four planes destroyed, in theory. And there were four buildings destroyed by aircraft. Well, only three. But you're supposed to ignore that and be really fuzzy of mind and not have a brain. If they only had a brain... Well, we do. And we're thinking, oh, that's one of those fakes. That's one of those anomalies where you can hardly believe your eyes, Mark. The building fell down and I didn't see an airplane. And I really didn't see an airplane fly into the Pentagon either, but I can hardly believe my eyes. But your eyes weren't even given the opportunity to see, therefore, it's until such time as I see anything different, we know the Pentagon was alive. And we know that Building 7 was done by the Israelis. That's pretty well it. Everything else is dog and pony show. As far as the two buildings that went down when the planes ran into them, once again, the Israelis did it. It was a dog and pony show and we go to blame. Know who is at fault and know who it is that made them come down. And it wasn't the supposed Arab terrorists that we have no pictures of getting on the plane, even though security cameras filmed everybody going on the plane. Not one of the Arab terrorists is in any of the security videos. Just a little sidebar there. Well then who did do that? Well you figure out who profited. Again, reminder guys that there is going to be another one that's coming up. Whatever they're going to try, they've already done the Brussels. They've got to Brusselsize America. They've got to get the secret police out on the street. They've been practicing for just that mission and it's a coming. So we need to be watching for it. Now, if you have any training operations, especially big ones in your area, they're trying not to give them any coverage like in Texas. Guys, everybody, at least talk as loud as you can in your area and tell, you know, and make a point especially if they're, if they would think they're infiltrating the area and they're operational in the area. Oh yeah, just repeat that everybody's filming them right now and nothing they're doing is in a vacuum and everybody's watching them. And do that locally, by the way. Do that so that it's like, oh yeah, well everybody's keeping an eye on it. We cambered up the whole area. We watched for anybody we don't recognize and people that aren't from the area. And we kind of do a face recognition thing because we know who all the local cops and county cops and state police are. And most of the feds, so if we see somebody else around here we don't recognize, we know we got a problem. You know, that's the kind of work you need to do constantly. Because the ground pounders, the ones who will be setting up the dirty work for whatever they're going to do with their brusselizing, where they're going to brusselite, you know, America, we're going to be attacked by the Israelis and the US government again. They're going to be the ones, you know, with some of their odd employees, but most of those will all be Jewish mobsters, and they'll all be doing it at 9-11-slasher in Oklahoma on us again. So we need to be prepared for it. Okay, everybody ready to roll. Just that simple. Beyond that, also prepping for the battle. Don, night vision technology, almost to the bottom of the hour here. Hold on a second, let's double check. We're almost to the bottom of the hour break. You have resources available in a few more hours. It's going to be pretty apparent why you need them, guys, as it gets darker. It gets a lot harder to see, but even during the day, Thermal is good 24-7. So both of those technologies are useful. Both have their purpose in life. We're going to apply them. How can we get hold of you? Where's the webpage? What do we have, please? Two, three, one, seven, nine, six, four, five, eight, eight parts. Go over to the website, you guys. You know the website. That's Y-D-T-O. Kind of weird, but that's easy to remember that way. You won't forget it now, will you? Y-D, you know, wide without the apostrophe. Y-D-T-O-E, so out of the quicker and hey man it just punches her and you're there and you're looking at my green stuff and and Thermal you know I'll do this because it's a communications Tuesday You know plenty of times when I pick up the phone and I get that call Hey, are you the guy with the night vision goggles? And you know some people do it because they've heard it on the air and they do it almost in jest But some people do it I can tell the difference you know some people they they I with the night vision God you know and It's something here the seriousness that what they want or that's the only thing they think about with the first reference. Why? Because what are your sight lines? Oh, I'm all hills and pine trees. Oh, I'm in the city and I don't think I'll ever get out. I get the answer and we come to a conclusion about what might be necessary. Now this leads over. The reason I did this was because the right tool for the right job. And I've got, Mark, you mentioned thermal and I've touched on this and they will be available soon. They're back ordered. They're not necessarily, yeah, they are back ordered, but they're waiting to be distributed because, well, here they all, here's the 2.0 version. I'm not a fan of that because it confuses the technology, the terminology rather, rather the nomenclature with green screen. It's not second generation. It's just software has been developed and This has been added and that has been added. Now you've got a compass and GPS if you want and you can turn them off if you want. You can range with it and other things but they're building up enough of them so that they can send them out to the distributors and nobody's saying, oh come, he's got one and I don't. So that's why they're kind of bad right now. And they sold the heck out of them at the SHOT Show. And you know this is the thing that the company's done this to me in 1995. Offered up a product and got everybody all fired up about it. How long ago was the shot show? Sitting on the edge of their seat, waiting for the new digital gun sights and sitting on the edge of their seat, waiting for the new thermal, but you guys, that's part of the new Thor compass in it. It'll have GP lorometer in it that'll measure when you, and it will measure the angle, like, you know, a deer, an estimate of, but it will range for, oh, is there the more certain bar of having a first shot, first hit, right? For three more weeks, you guys. Loosen at large, the dollar under $2,000. $1,000 for entry level for a thermal gun sight. That's a thermal gun sight. He says, oh, live on top of your .308. And the company says, oh, and do they warranty it on top of .308. A few more features. Getting cheaper, you guys. And we brought this thought line to the hour, too, because the US military is on the verge of replacing their green screen right down to the individual soldier. Their green screen, even third generation that, you know, your son might come home. you know, hanging from their helmet in Baghdad or wherever, they're getting ready to replace all the green screen with thermal. Right down to the book, right down, and trying to point them. Each has its own abilities, and each in its own particular, where it shines, it stands head and shoulders above the other screen. As an example, you point that thermal at a billboard, no matter how big the print is, you're not gonna read it. You're not gonna read the unit designation or the company identifier on the door of the truck or the license plate, you're not going to be able to do that with thermal. But you're not going to be able to look into that shadow over there if you're looking, as example, down a street. Street lights are out. And it's a full moon. You can look down the street for a good, long ways if it's a full moon with first, second, or third generation. And even fourth, a good, long ways. But you can't look into those hard shadows. trees are creating because I did mention it's a full moon, didn't I? High light level and that will give you real hard shadows for a green screen and you will get no information from there but thermal will look through that for you. Each has its own abilities that the other and we've talked about this to the extent that when you melt them together a couple of green screens and a couple of thermals and maybe the odd one. Well, three thermals and two green screens are the other way around in a five man team. Man, that's a hard team to beat. Entry level, because you know, I would say it's the cheapest, but I know what $2,000 is worth, but we, I know it. This device, like 3400 or 3600, right now, that's for less than $2,000. For what I offer, I really less than what the company wants for their entry level third generation gun sight. with a thermal gun sight, 308 capable, do it the other way. You know, they want $199 for, that's the company's minimum average, at night arrow. You see there at the web's power, they've sold out, or don't, the proper English, but I got no control over that. $13.99 or $13.95, that's $14. And if you look at, like, more than 25, about 30% more, you're into a thermal gun sight. It's almost 50% less than a generation gun sight. Now that device of the front lens and the screen size, it will detect the human being out to 340 meters, which is about 375 yards. Now, I would 375, I'd say 440 is a quarter mile. I think I'm pretty right about that, 440 is a quarter mile. The idea of, you know, what we can go up from there until if you want to put something on your 50, and this is the reason why I ask, what are your ranges? What are your sight lines? And many of you have heard that. I'm probably never going to work in over about 150 or 250 yards. That entry level, one and a half to a great little addition to your team, if it's a stand alone piece, it would be a great piece. I ramble on about this, but to go up, like for something that would be, well, you talked about, Don, it'll live on your fist, if it's only going to, 140 meters, I don't want to put that top of my 50 because it might 50, that's just past where the bullet starts to go to sleep. I know it's about almost twice as far, but true path, not like spin direction, well over 100 yards, but nothing in the city isn't all of those and many other, which way it's going to go as far as its spin. See farther than 340 meters. Well, if you go up in the number of common thermal, when I as a human being, something that'll live on top of your 50, we can remember the, we were told here about the thermal to identify that there's a target there. We talked about complimenting green screen and thermal because see some things there, but one may give me better detail over the other. This is in those shadows that thermal's going to confirm, yeah, that's a people-sized target, something viable. Is there anybody friendly in that area? Yes or no? And that's how you'd confirm it. But let's do this. Take this almost enough there. Are you going to be around until after or are you going to go? Okay, now, I want you to take up the rest of the hour and go ahead. Two thermal, three night vision. How can we employ them best? And what would we do under the different conditions? Example, we've got about a little more than a half moon right now. And even with cloud cover, pretty bright. Go ahead and walk everybody through the different deployment ideas. Three for two, two for three. If we have twos, for instance, thermal three star light, or we go three thermal two star light, how would we over integrate these? How would we overwatch? Because we do get better with the green than we do with the thermal when we get up to greater ranges. Thank you. We'll run up a number of different vignettes. Dang, I think that might be French. If the accent on the syllable were slightly different, I could say, dang, I think I spoke Italian. But we can run up a number of different scenarios. One of them, and you mentioned moon. We're just about three quarters of a moon right now. A little more than half a moon, little less than a full moon. Full moon was about five days ago. So that'll give you an idea. The other point to be made is that moon, if I look here, that moon's chasing the sun across the sky. The sun is gonna go down and then the moon is gonna go down. Now, the moon might be down. I'd have to confirm that, but they're real close right now. What that's saying is, you guys, that moon doesn't come up for about four or five hours after it's dark outside. Now, we've offered up this parameter here about the comparisons of performance. In this instance, I'd be happy if we were heavy on the thermal, three pieces of thermal and two pieces of green screen because, well, when it gets dark, because it's gonna, when it gets dark, there's no moon. My thermal is not gonna be limited in its performance by the light level, but if there's no moon up yet and it's overcast, if it's extremely low light, even my third generation is going to be cut back on its ability to, is that a human being? Frank or is that Gustavo over there? Just one. That's just offering one of the comparisons between light levels. And we've talked about this. A thermal isn't affected by light level. In most of the nation, and you'll understand when I say in most of the nation, the thermal isn't affected by temperature. Well, what do you mean by that, Don? You know, if you walk into the doctor's office and it's cold outside and you take your overcoat off and they throw you on the scale there and you weigh an X amount of stone, well that would be in England. You weigh X amount of stone and the next thing the nurse might put that thing up to your forehead or rudely introduce it into the crevices of your ear there and take your temperature. And you know, if you've been out in the weather a little bit, you might be like 98.1. you know, on your forehead or at your ear. You know, 98.6 is your normal and that's more toward the core and generally, at any rate, country where it might get to be 98 degrees outside in the morning and then it gets warmer and warmer and then it, are there a way the ambient temperature above separates from that 98.6 degrees, the more distinct that human will be. And it's starting to cool down and it gets closer and closer in the air temperature and the surrounding temperatures because the solids are going to cool down slower than the air. The solids tend to hold longer. But as the temperatures tend to coincide, there will be that time when that 98.6 tends to disappear. Now, this goes back over to it won't completely disappear. If it's moving, there will be ghosty images of because you'll be moving across background that might not be uniform in temperature, even to the extent that it's uniform in temperature on the screen, but as your temperature moves across it, that's what I mean about ghosty image. It might be a portion of an image and you seem to sense motion there and you look up and you think, well, there might be somebody over there with an invisibility suit or something, but then the temperature continues to fall below that 98.6 and you have that recognition again. timeframe, man it would be really good to have green screen in her third or fourth generation wouldn't it? Let's continue on into the night a little bit farther with that three and two green screens. You're moving through an area and well there's no there's no moon. The moon's gonna be up and about it's just dark dark enough that your day we're gonna move now. With the naked eye you won't be seeing it distance and you know unless you just stumble across some in the dark, you could probably walk past them at a distance. In an area in good contrast, the green screen guys, they're working pretty well and they've got the edge of their, I know that's a person, about one third of it would be if there were a full moon. At 500 yards with a full moon, you're looking at probably 100 and, that'll probably be closer to 120 with no moon. Consistent background that would, background too. Now this is another thing that thermal piece of thermal and you finally, some people have a hard time green screen before because why that you almost look at blades of grass you almost look at the individual pieces of wheat moving again this goes back over to you can read what's the number on that truck what's that unit designation Frank and Frank can read that well and tell you the unit name that the none that door or he reads English you can read again we've talked to mean screen you can read a lot more as far as visible detail as long as you've got enough light to bring the image back to you. The thermal performance isn't going to degrade as far as the light levels to that. If you've been using green screen and this is something that has to happen inside the team. You don't want to just take something into the field. You guys have sat around for a while and I have become familiar with your thermal and you have become familiar with my starlight, my green screen, right? And if all you've ever used is green screen a piece of thermal up, well, a lot of thermal doesn't display a round image. It displays almost like a mail slot or an envelope. Might be a better description. You might even be looking into a round port like a daylight scope or like a piece of night vision with a round boot. But you're looking at what is like a business envelope shape inside. Around it is black. So you have to get used to that. The team has done this. You've exchanged pieces and you might work for an hour into the field and then exchange pieces and work for another hour and exchange pieces so that you get that experience. But also, it's not so much the experience. It's once you have that experience with either device, now you've got a different eye looking through the same device and now you get some eye relief. from eye fatigue from looking at the same device for a long time. Now you're looking at a green screen. Now you're looking at a black and white screen. And you know, some thermal you can change the heat from white to black, the button and it reverses your perception image. So what is hot is no longer white, now it's black. A black and white image. Sometimes you do that because you don't, you're not. certain what you're looking at because well it's a raw black and white and people haven't seen black even black and white televisions and way too long definite lines like like the crease of the collar or something like that along those lines either to give you more depth perception or definition of what something might be you might only be discerning the outside shape of it again shape and color the difference between green screen and and You guys, you've already dealt with that before you go out into the field, right? Because you know what your teammate can do and what your ability can do, you're going to play them to the best of your abilities. It would be kind of slow, not to, wouldn't it? It would be to your advantage, not to. So it comes from, again, that exchange. I'm going to drive this green screen for an hour, and then I'm going to drive that piece of thermal for an hour, and before the night's done, we've pretty much split the hour. the evening and the dark in use of the devices and because of that well well we've got more experience on each device right now that's that's a basic plan of the team now if you're going into a full moon and it's you know sometimes the moon comes up just after and you've got moon almost all night that would be a good time to have to be heavy with green screen three green screen and two thermal but you're gonna wanna pair them up because again Even if you're moving through a city, through a woods, or you're moving through a jungle, jungle with a lot of overhead and canopy is going to cut down a lot of that ambient light that comes down to the ground level, but also going to want to make you look into the three-dimensional what's up in that tree, right? But wait a minute, what's up in that second floor window? Not just working at the ground level are you? I have to remind everybody about that. Because these are things that the team discussed before they go out into the field, right? In order to, you know, bring these thoughts fresh into the front so that we don't drop. You guys get to an area where from the moonlight and the thermal is working to the best of ability but wait, wait, you point out to your guy about seven feet away from you, you motion form and he moves up a little closer to you, you can hear your loud whisper. But you're talking about something there that's about a hundred yards away so that loud whisper might not be detected but you want it just loud enough that he can hear about that maybe six yards away. And you point out that house, that third house beyond the intersection we're moving toward on the far side of the street. See that big broken picture window? It's completely dark in there. My green screen. I thought I saw something move in that. Just as I panned onto it, I thought I saw something fade back into it. Tell me what you see. And the guy with the thermal, he'll bring that up and he'll focus it on that distance. And he'll see that person standing in the dark looking back at us, his green screen. see that person standing in the dark trying to hide in the dark. It's another one of the hard shadow examples and that's a real good one. That's one that I can paint and it can be easily recognized in an audio world trying to bring up visual images. That one works real well because you can imagine it might be real bright up and down the street from moonlight but you can imagine that with that picture window smashed so someone could just step through that area. Your human eye won't bring anything out of. and the green screen won't because I remind you it adjusts to the brightest, whatever it is, image in its field of view, the human eye. Hold into that area and you brought that guy up. your thermal partner as you split this through the team, you've asked him to look right into that particular area. It can be a house, it can be a group of trees. See that tree that's fallen? See the tallest tree? See how tall it is? Lay it down three times to the left. See that uniform? You might have to do something like that. That's the tallest tree, but everything to the left is very uniform. Can't go over to see that rock, see that See that little bit of jump up that's about three times the length of the tree fallen to the left? That little bit of tree that if the huffed isn't there, you're going to have to use given images and lengths. But when you've identified this for your thermal guy, now the thermal guy might, he might be busy trying to keep track of something. As you're looking at this house, Kima, where of the intersection and up and down the road and you might deploy someone across the street. If you have a big enough team, you might just deploy someone across, down the next street, or looking for reinforcements or maybe just looking for another place to go. All kinds of reasons to be looking for something, aren't there? Guy with the thermal confirms that, man, I watched that thing that you thought you saw in the edge of the green screen, he confirms that there's a person in there. He might also see that there are two or three more coming and they're moving and it looks like they've just moved beyond his view towards him. He might tell you they're getting ready to move into your ability. No, they're getting ready to move into your arena of view. That's another example of how they can work together and that only comes from the team communicating and that's You can imagine this, you guys. You're looking into that house with an angle, and both of you are looking at the house. And now you've got your whole team looking up and down the street. And again, the team is splitting to try to envelop the area. Don't forget to... This only exemplifies the team that can look in more than one direction, doesn't it? Don't talk about target fixation, haven't we? And don't forget to look behind you. Ignore these things as you try to decide what this is you're looking at to your front. or what was to your quarter and now becomes as of interest to your front. Don't forget to... But again, you can well imagine, you can see the guy with the thermal, he's looking into that shadow that the guy with the green screen can't see into. And he's gonna tell you, you've got four people moving toward the front door, they're about to come into your detection. They're about to come into, it might be as simple as, they're about to arrive in your ability. And you know, they're about to work out into enough light that the green screen can target them, can determine who they are, because the thermal can't really tell if the, well the thermal might tell the shape of a helmet, and sometimes the shape of a helmet will determine who or what they are. International cold scuttle helmet, it's becoming more and more common for the shape of the helmet, isn't it? Lightly altered little helmet. The same one they wore in the other, the first half of that great war that was with a 20 year intermission. the Fritz helmet. I wish they got they never showed up night or day and then go hunt down who set them down. The night vision page and your number once again please encloses. Data page is YE. Thank you Mark. I had a dream the other night that, well, I didn't understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat and, speaking low to me, he said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations this legacy we gave In this the land of the free and home of the brave The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave In this the land of the free, the brave You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun permits to start a business or to build a place for one.
