A figure walking through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat and speaking low to me, he said, We've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free, the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate. And your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep and dead. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be burned. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedom for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand. defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God-given right, and pray to God as I awoke he'd vanished in the mist from whence he came. His words were true, not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God-given right, we only watch and tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave, is this still the land of the free, the home of the free? It was a nice day, a rather comfortable day. You didn't need to dress with 14 layers and hold out the howling wind from the north and have layers on so thick when the wolves first bite you, they don't even get to the flesh. to bite. It was a great day and it's not over yet. So hey, there we go on the 26th day of February 2016. I'm sitting here getting ready for the hour and trying to get some other small things done like feeding the animals and such. Mark talked about the Brit they got on Crime Watch Daily here on, I think it's channel 9 in the middle of Michigan. We have actually a number of channel 9s. I think it's 9.1. And this guy, you know, it's the same guy, you know, the Cockney accent and all of this, and most of a month ago he said, what are we going to do about the guns in America? You know, like he really, I don't know how long he's been here and he has not assimilated yet, but he'll probably go home for a box or a day or something. I don't know whatever they celebrate there in, you know, lovely old England. But brought up the scenario, Mark, about the concealed carry and you walk into a uh or something and there's a robbery going on and the question from the board what would you do well i'd get my gun out try to intervene and save lives well maybe you won't get because they were making a movie there you brought that scenario out mark I didn't pay attention to the names, you guys, because I generally don't pay attention to the Brit who just flaps his jaw a whole lot and tells us about, well, this person was hacked in 17 pieces by the... It's just on. It beats watching Ellen. You know what I mean? It beats watching Ellen. So, uh, I didn't catch the names, but there's a guy in New Jersey, and he... when he said gun laws, I started paying attention. And, you know, the gun laws in New Jersey are some of the worst in the state, according to... in... in the United States, according to this Brit. And, well, this one poor fellow, he answered an internet ad mark to make a movie, to be in a movie. And, well, he's all excited about being in a movie, and they give him this plastic gun, and they're filming this scene in this car, and they get arrested. No, he's looking at five years in New Jersey. Why? The director the producer all of these people behind mucky mucks I'd use that term for this didn't get a permit to make a movie in New Jersey Not to mention mark. They didn't get a permit for the gun They did not get a permit for the gun did I mention the gun is a you know a replica a toy like you know I'm a near soft toy. Yeah, yes, we're doing now so they don't have permits or anything guys But which is something New Jersey, but in New Jersey they get the envelope They didn't get their bullets Izzy Blansonstein and the rest of the shysters didn't get their mocks! We'll teach you! Hooray, I'm telling ya! And that's exactly how it plays, too. Hey, you know, we could take this a stretch farther and that toy gun looks exactly like a real gun. And, you know, cost a young child his life a year or two ago in Cleveland, didn't it? And I'm, you know, that was a bad situation in a bad time in America when a cop might have just rolled up someplace and expected someone to show them their gun. The situation really hasn't backed down much, has it? Again, five years for a toy gun and I'm making a movie here. Why they use that on the other side is an excuse, don't they? And that only examples the, well, ignorance is no excuse. But it's not really that, it's uh... It's... My excuse works for me, but not for you. That covers it better, doesn't it? Oh, oh, that's the two-edged portion of the law. Like the two-edged sword. It's either one, but it... I don't know how that works, Mark, but... Oh, that's what you call arbitrary and capricious? There it is. But I thought I'd mention that. He did mention this Brit. I brought his name a week or so ago. I can't remember his name, particularly. Don't want to. What are we going to do about America's guns in America? He did mention guns in America. There was a shooting in Kalamazoo here. We talked about it. Some guy just Uber driver went nuts and shot six people and more and six are fatal in Kalamazoo a week or so ago. It looks now Mark, like they're indicting his son also. So, if whether his son had something to do with it or not, to come up a week later and indict his son, it's just the reflection on it. You know, how come they didn't bring him in immediately if they had any kind of, well, he was involved. The other thing is, well, you know how people are in particular areas? Maybe we'll take this chance and we'll get your little son, too. You know, instead of your little doggy. But well, you know, maybe they'll come up with some pretty good excuses for arresting that poor fellow's son. You know, we'll see. We'll have protect people right there in that area. Kalamazoo is Masonic Central, so this is going on, we'll find out. Dark Arts location, guys. Got an emphasis on you really don't know. Wondering where Kalamazoo is. I-94 Quarter to the west side in the state, 94 in Michigan, runs from east to west. And we're on the east side, on one end of the international highway. Inter-State Highway and at the other end Kalamazoo, not quite to Grand Rapids, you gotta go kind of cross to go to Grand Rapids. It's bizarre but there's something else I would point out. That stretch of road of I-94 every year has a horrific right there where Kalamazoo is. Now we don't see across the whole stretch of the rest of the state but in that location, in that area, every year.
