Anyway, it is a beautiful, cool day here in Michigan. Winter doesn't want to quiet let go or else you could just say that, you know, early Friday, this is Michigan, we have temperate weather. By the way, for our friends up farther north, we'll just use some snow squalls even off the lakes, expect it. It's cold and the bodies of water known as Great Lakes are still from the highs up here in Michigan, we're still getting the cool-y, cold-y thingy and used to life fish by the way. Gotta watch some of those ice blows though because this is the iffy kind of time of year. Remember water levels rise and fall? One minute you're attached to the next minute you're in a two and a half or four mile slug of ice headed down the St. Lawrence Seaway so to speak. If you're like on Lake Erie and you start floating you gotta go downstream. Yeah yeah it's kind of embarrassing so again you gotta pay attention. Don't drag your car out there take the snowmobile it's more affordable if you lose it. Okay you look stupid if you take your car out out there and then... six fishing... oh man, some of the guys have been doing really great on Lake Erie. Last week came back with... well, we got the limit in both the Super Pan Bluegill. They show up even in Lake Erie right now because they've started up here in the upper part of the state, the upper part of the state of Michigan. Oh, about what? 25, 30 years ago, in the inland lakes, gravity sucks, water goes downstream, you know, and so does the fishies with it. Well, those big pan fish, the big Super Pan fish, kinda got out and around. So if you know where to drill a hole and drop a hook, you know, limited number of perks. You've been way down for a long time because the big game fish are eating everything up. But in the right spot and the right bars, you can find some bars and sandbars and such. If you know the role of the lake, you know where to drop the hook. You can get some pretty good eating for a while there, guys. And that's exactly what they're doing. Of course, there are also a lot of guys that are out there for the big fish during the winter, too. Got to drill a bigger hole or work them through. You got the ice bud, Andy. This little story, by the way, you know what an ice bud is? Like a big bar with it. It's like a wrecking bar, guys. And the ice fishing bar. Well, here's the other thing you do if you know they've got a fun... Where I used to live on a lake on the Huron River chain. Nobody... It wasn't stupid price. It was, oh, you were rich! You lived on a lake! Guys, lake property used to be nothing. And my dad bought the property at the right time. We built the house from scratch that was on there. There used to be like three people living on this island that we lived on. It was kind of an island because it was in the middle of the river. The lake on one side, small lake on the other. And there was a split right there. We tore down a mansion. Two of the old garden pulled nails out of how they were iron nails. So a lot of times those iron nails didn't even budge. And my job was to pull the nails on these real 2x10s and 2x12s. We just stumbled the mansion, this whole mansion in one place, it was a little contract, then got it, you know, got to take it home. We inventoryed it, of course, and my dad, of course, him and the guys that he knew, brick, you know, brick fascia. Nice brick building. Chicken, chicken coop type room. I mean, first one was the Lake Cottage, because hey, you know, we kept building the stuff we found and, you know, actually put together, and it was masonry skills, brick went to die for them. Every winter everybody goes on the lake. Every late spring, summer the divers would come out and guys they would get out of the there would be a forest in the bottom of the lake there would be a forest well guys you see well ice buds typically guys don't think that Heather they're chipping on the ice and they're beating on the ice and they're kind of frustrated because you know they try to get that big fish through the ice and they didn't been bored big enough a hole and all of a sudden steel harpoon straight down spring divers come through and fetch out the two or three snowmobiles that fell through the ice over by the riverside. The flow of the water is greater and people are warned not to go there and somebody always doesn't listen because they know more than you do and then they lose their sled. So we get old snowmobiles that the guy is fine and then we tow him and blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. And there would be a 35 or 15 horse or a 10 horse, you know, Johnson or anything. From the season before, of course. And then there's the forest. And you could tell right where the ice always in the bay area, it was a bay that we're out in the middle of, it's the lake itself, it works like a bay. But then, you see some ice stuck in the lake. Of course, there'd be other gear sometimes, there'd be all kinds of stuff, you'd never know what you're gonna find. And one foot at a time, they would scour the lake bottom and we would end up with all this cool equipment, which everybody would get back, because somebody would kinda go, yeah, that's my ice bud, that's it. You know, because the people that were using the ice, a lot of them were the people that lived there, were their friends that come out to play on the lake. So everybody gets their icebud back, so they can turn around and lose it to beer. So the divers could come out and find it again, pick it back up and bring it out of the water and go, yeah, I found it right about there. Oh, it's fine. The guys happen to be standing here. And half the time they wouldn't be there because they're cottages, you know, permanent houses. So we kind of just stick them in the ground there and people come along and pick up their icebud. Yeah, so just things that are part of the, how could you possibly live in that weather with all that snow? Living that weather? Now we had fun! That's back when America had, you know, like, you know, male organs if they were males, you know. They had all the body parts that they asked the Pope about when they, you know, when they bring in a new Pope. They asked him if he had some. Yep. Well, men used to have those in Maryland. Who you must have to do stuff. You know, not, not, not, not, sit there, of course, and stare at a screen. Instead, we got outside to hear our hind ends out. It's pretty different up here in Michigan. We have a lot of fun. snowmobiles I think everybody's learning to reinvest in more snowmobiles burning the hard way. Eight feet of snow and buffalo. Kind of handy to get a snowmobile there, wouldn't it? But I don't use it all the time. Well it wasn't meant to be used all the time. That's why we call it a snowmobile. Something to make it work. Vocabulary is everything, don't you think? So anyway, it is, oh, Friday already. We're headed towards the top of the hour. And again, if you're heading out this morning, hold on. because you smell, grab everything. Have your raincoat or your raincoat. If you've got Gore-Tech, take it with you because we may end up with some more rain here across Michigan again. Gonna warm up progressively through the day. We'll get above freezing, but beware if you're headed out because in those intersections it looks, you know, glossy. Just like the beginning of the season and all through, yep, that's all that grip off the cars. Freeze up already. And now you're gonna hear about all these bumper humpers where people are thinking, oh it's spring, I can drive. So don't be part of that. The basic goal of galactic theory, the same place. Next, and by the way, good morning while our friends out here at worldreport.com, www.worldreport.com, we appreciate the work you're doing. Carry the read, carry the read. Once again, well gee, like we didn't know he was in the graft and corruption. He's a stinking senator. I mean, I'm not ridiculed that guys did the article, it's just, he's a rotten, he's a senator. What do you expect from the trash? That's all you got nowadays. I bought and paid for prostitutes. Anyway, a couple of other things. One before I want to do this before I go any farther. The last couple of days, don't ask me why. You know what, you're in a hurry. And when I squiggle and write, sometimes, you know, again, it's like you're transposing something. And I took a T, I should forgive me, an F, and somehow translated it into a T. And I know why, because I just kind of screwed the top of the F, okay? Well, YankeeD's got a new webpage, and for everybody out there, I'm gonna make sure we put it into the body of the program where you can find it and go back and dig it out Friday, the first hour. Shopify and Shopify is spelled s y dot com W dot Yankee dash doodle do I Shopify I think I know that song. I just wanna Shopify Yeah, I could picture you and you got to be doing the leisure suit Hey, you know, and of course that you got to have the pro and the leisure suit has to have the no bottoms with the riddance lift with the Spanish cut red inside them, right? and you're almost like, you know, staying alive? Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, guys that has a 50 cal he's got a Zussman Ackermann chain-fed B7B he's actually kind of guarding the real estate down the road for us so actually he's guarding our real estate his line of fire covers you know a lot of bile and a half but he picked up one of the new Aries because it's going on both his Barrett 50 or he can switch it over to the Zussman and his Barrett is one that he bought back when you know oh wait what did he pay for his Barrett $3,000 possible they cost like $10,000 now yeah yeah give me two give me two I think two oh yeah well you know what when Barrett first came out with this rifle let's jog some memories out there of all you gun owners if you were you know aficionados back in the day build his gun from scratch originally when he built that gun and his son put it out he was you know he actually was you know in carpentry and stuff you know he really wasn't in the middle of it at the time he decided to want to build this thing and he actually developed everything for it he first brought it to the Ohio Valley gun collectors show to show people what could be done and he had his working rifles and he had rifles for sale only a few at a time. They were $1,700 apiece. In other words, you're looking at the same rifle. I mean, there are a few, two things they've tweaked and a few things that they've changed, very few. And it went from a $1,600 to $1,700 rifle to a $10,000 rifle because government was one movie. Most everybody, if you want to wonder how old the Barrett is now, this will spring. Remember the movie, the original movie, RoboCop, right? Remember RoboCop? Yes. Remember the gangsters came out and they had that Vulcan 20 rifle cabin, right? Guys, those were Barrett. Those were 50 caliber Barrett. semi-automatic rifles when they first came out and Hollywood bought a handful of those for the movie. Actually Barrett had to go out and I think, hey, I think it was Barrett himself went out because they had to, you know, make sure they knew what they were doing with the rifles. Nobody had had them before and that made them, everybody saw them in robo-composite. What is that? Oh no, that's a real gun man. That's a Barrett man. And everybody had to have one. Hollywood, you know, the guys who were in the property department said, dudes, have you seen this? and it was like, cool. Now you see, now, some automatic .50 caliber has been around for a long time. The problem? They were all made by the Russians. They had rifle, .50 caliber rifles. You know, you like your SKS, Joe. You got an SKS, I think. I do. Like your SKS? I do. Pretty cool rifle? Yes, sir. How about imagine on steroids and a .50 caliber? I do. Literally, they made a .50 cal. It has the same magazine, same rifle. Right. imagine it in 50 caliber and watch the leads blow away and that's just one of many weapons that are developed in the 50 caliber if you out there, if there's somebody out there that's never fired a 50 cal go find one beg them to shoot just one time go pay for the ammo only cost you about three dollars a round if you go buy it from let's say unmo.com yeah let's feel the power What was that? Oh, that was an experience. All right, try another piece of Kevlar. That one didn't work. Can I do it? Can I do it? Can I do it? Can I do it again? Well, you've lost the 10 rounds. Go ahead. It's awesome. And the thing is that the Russians, they greatly appreciated that. In fact, back in World War II, before they had the RPG-7, let's point something out here, the Russians had already embraced the idea of an anti-tank weapon in every fire team, in every five-man team. So they built a 50 caliber that was about screwed it was quickly built well built for you know what they like 9 out of the 9th man in the squad had one every out of 10 men one guy at least had if not two you know one every fire team or one in every squad just like the RPG 7 operator is today so way before they had the RPGs they already had a big board you know putting holes in the light armor and middle armor and of course now the Germans captured but core like cork with stack like like trees and turned around use of his throw mouth anyway i hear the music and we are stopping at joe here with us it is friday on the rocks single day emo day 550s what time is it I said it's Cinco di Amode by 50. Oh, yes. Buy a couple of 50 rounds and we'll find the friend with the 50 rifle. You will like it. Whoa. Bueno bueno. God bless the Republic. Death to the New World Order. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. We're on the march, night and day. Hurrah. We'll be back right here in just a few minutes. Second hour of the intel report. It is Cinco di Amode.
