Summary
Mark Koernke and Joe McNeil discussed alternative weapons technology including slingshots, crossbows, air rifles, and improvised projectile devices, examining their historical use, effectiveness, and modern applications for survival and preparedness. The show included announcements about a fundraising drawing for a complete FM radio station (needing 7 more $100 contributions to reach 30 entries), a request for prayers for longtime chat room member Mary Brewer who was hospitalized with internal bleeding, and updates on efforts to restore the satellite feed. Joe McNeil also promoted the website survey to track listener demographics across internet, satellite, and mobile platforms.

They're already daily They're already daylight open Fabian socialist and not any big wind or anything guys sticking. It's right on the edge of freezing where we own and a little slow because we've got some melt here and there that's understandable We're heading into the next wave no country and it's just gonna be the way break out this double deals break out the speed the, oh that's right, that grinder out. Anything else is down there. Ski country, cross country, ski, ski, break them out. You don't have to use them all the time, but otherwise, it's kind of like you have to use anything and keep yourself. Nothing too much. Wiped out my fence yesterday. Wiped out a big hunk of my fence, and stuff in Northern California. And we would go out and, I mean you can go for miles. We would be able to get fending for vermin, and then, I mentioned before, my mother's a full-blooded Indian. And this one time, I went to this event and they were having like almost half an hour behind some of those bows was amazing and this one guy... You know something we've talked about there's a the slingshot channel on YouTube you get a chance because he's about the size of an odd and then he does all kinds of but the ones that he produces standard VU type with a handle actually cast them. The thing about it is is that designs you know us how to use gel with. Years ago we we in the horse school was binding right and then you know properly processed. Well he'd take a bucket and he was taking one of his, what happened is he shot and it went through the equivalent to a five gallon pail. Guys, that's like going through a person's chest, you know, solid with muscle. Thing is that he went straight through and he goes, oh, that's not what I wanted. So he went and he got a bigger concept. He went with a bigger ball bearing and it went eight inches. Would you want like about a 20 millimeter or 25 millimeter steel ball stuck in your chest? And none of these have to be. And that's really a good way to mess up someone, you know what I mean? When you think about it, just like you're saying, slingshots are, you know, they've, in fact, an interesting thing happened. I don't know if you watch, did you watch any of the Hobbit series, the new movie? Yeah, the new movie. Just the first one. Well, the first, second, and third are now out, all three are out now, right? Ah, okay. Remember in the second one when they were trying to get to, and it just bounces off? Guys, that is not what happened and why slingshots came about back in the day. There are two things, like you said, Bill, that are not toys. And we think of them as toys because we've been, we've, number one, slingshots. Slingshots are a lethal, carried weapon. Were again, a pocket for their day. And the other one is, do you think we came up with that game for the fun of it? In fact, I want you to look at the way darts have changed and traditional darts. Traditional darts was like a body of an airplane. It literally would fill the palm of your hand. If you were to grip it, it was about the size of a really thick broomstick. More like a big mop. an actual little oversized mop handle, and it would be in a tear-shaped form, and about 6 to 8 inches long, and then it was thin stabilized. Now, the steel prod reed, or force, was bored into that wooden body, and there was a purpose of attention. You read older works you'll talk about, and many an arrow flew from the walls of the fortress. Hint, hint, hint. Acquiring anything other than human hand and an eyeball to fight a rampart. virtual barrel weapon. If you were five or six stories up, think about that. She was an arm. And here's another wicked thing coming down at you. They would be three. And then it would be knocked. I'll just land it in you and it hit you. If we were really lucky, tried to pull on it. It was bought to the meat and the organs. And then when you tried to grab the dart and pull it out, it would snap off in you. The panicking go take it off. Now you got this little stuff that's in you. And by the way, back in the day, guys, there wasn't any tetanus shots. And they always made a point of it being rusted iron. Well, that wasn't good work. You know, I've only seen a little bit of information about things and on it. I mean, I know that they use them in the Pacific Islands. The, well, actually what it is is you combined is that you actually eject it out, you allow it, and then you, again, you're talking about something that's been around, like you said, for thousands of years. People have died at the hands of the come to it. All these things we're talking about are also fairly quiet, guys. I mean, through the neck or the, you know what, when your life depends on it? The illegal and war. make any money on powder, do you want to swap the Demetri or whoever might be making the powder, but yeah, the original era of the Austrian military, 1700, the major European, Spain, being agreed, bought a campaign. Napoleon beat the Spanish army and maneuvered, but he thinks about as in they took the tube and hit the target, they didn't distort, it tumbled and tore. Speaking of many hestuses, it's a good read. I get behind this, most people are thinking when they take air rifles, old Mark. were really black powder, medium velocity put behind it obviously. But the average chart, you know, again more on bullet formulas than it was on tremendous downrange, is efficient velocity perforate tissue and do damage. But the objective behind, you know, how they designed the projectile was when it got there, determine how much energy delivered against the chart. That's the critical part. The Amer people, uh, when it was met, they bring these things together and did what they were supposed to have done. Uh, again, we're a gift weapon. Well, actually, it was going to be a survival weapon because there was some forethought on it. Three guys, powder might not be there, but air is free. Cash bullets. To carry, just to carry the lead, cheaper and easier than, you know, again, having to worry about powder. You know, you show it at the lead with either weapon. All kinds of things kept on with the type of weapons they were carrying. And the air rifle was a more logical way in general for their remote condition. I don't know if you've watched any of the new, have you seen any of this that's how we're the, you know, the sport. What's interesting is it's, uh, all the space stations are orbiting Earth, had to, Earth had to three, they drop, unknowing what they're doing into a drop capsule and drop them back on Earth like guinea pigs. Of course it's a hundred years after the idea that, you know, dangerous after being stored and, and like the kid grabs the cartridge and drops it. Did you ever have the apple with the cartridge? We can make you all paranoid as ignorant teenagers of anything that has to do with guns, because we don't want you to touch, they might just blow up on you! How long would it be before people, if they didn't have you, would resort to all? And if you already have a working knowledge and all kinds of junk and clunk-wainer, you'd be making air rifles because an expensive thing to maintain in the long run. I don't want to be fighting hand-to-hand if I can put, you know, an air-old, right, even with, uh, for the one-sevenths. Well, didn't they? I remember shooting those left to right. I don't see those on the market anymore. I don't know, etc. But that comes back down to gun ignorance, public fool system. was like, well don't do this at home, well we didn't have to tell anybody not to do this at home because we were all smart enough and had enough common sense to figure that out. Don't get shot. Don't put your hands in the saw and you won't lose your fingers. Before you cross the field. Which was a problem where I lived. As it is, again, the alternate weapons idea, that's something, thank you for bringing it up, because there are a number of things where, the reason I bring this up about ammunition, if you had cartridge guns or weapons systems and you have, obviously, don't even think about wasting ammunition on games where we have other and other technology, even snaring. Good friends that are in the Patriot effort that have done programming for years, buckshows against snaring. Creatures out there from mice all the way out to find the game trail and put the snare on the game trail. Because once you learn to spot the trail where the smaller rodents travel along. Behind this is that again, all wherever you deploy, to make the snare or to make the dart, the arrow or to maximum calor to minimize the amount of time and effort and maximize the end result. The thing that you're doing with operations, it costs counting if you've got overweight. I'm gonna say something about that. Everybody's, you know what? We'll bring on a new weight. I can remember in the 60s, popular science mechanics, probably not popular science, sorry, popular mechanics, in those type magazines, articles about making a crossbow springs from smaller vehicles in the 60s. When you get that big, talking harblisks now in place, there's on the back, and that time we fired, We estimated going across the 40 acre field and I figured okay it's clear in the first round we've lost the dart. Wishing the field expecting to hit in the dust where you know we're looking and it goes right on over the tights of the trees and just goes we never found that dart we tried real hard because we really really want to know what our ranges were. Well then we had to adjust accordingly and then fired the second one and we kind of we might have shishkababed the tree and that dart could have been up at 30 feet I don't know. Pollution on the impact take to make that time it takes for you to start just a second. One interesting thing, you know with front wheel drive, the suspension stabilizer, and the only thing is it's five catch them when they're younger and new. They actually break or actually replace them with a lot of these guys if you put many many many many miles on them. That particular spring, the article was found in the car. Search on the net, I'm pretty sure you can find those articles. I'm making a little crossbow using those things. What plus floating around for years. The big thing about the steel is it would be a cross. once hammered out, re-tempered, make fabulous swords, make fabulous weapons. Anything else? Alternative weapons technology, thank you sir. Back at high speed on an icy day. Man, this danger will not be down on the ridge in Kentucky or Tennessee right now. We're gonna take up a coffee, smell, taste. We'll be back right here on the rock. It is weapons Wednesday, the Arbalest. How about harpooning a car with a six foot piece of water pipe? Let it fun. Put a warhead on the end of it. It's just about unthinkable. Wednesday, no easy. are going to get sick this winter from colds, flus and other illnesses. Make sure you're not one of them. Protect yourself with Supernatural Silver, a revolutionary new product. And remember, it's all completely natural, available, and participating health food stores nationwide. Micro is there. And good morning folks. You are listening to the Morning Intel Report. I'm Joe McNeil. Uh, just kidding on the microphone actually here with uh Mark Cornke. And there's a reason I just played that song here. For those of you who patronize our chat room on a regular basis, our good friend Mary Brewer is in the hospital. For, I don't know how many times this makes, but I guess there's some internal bleeding going on and they have no idea what they're looking for. So I would hope that all of you would pray for this wonderful person. She's been with us since the beginning of the micro effect actually. We've had a lot of great arguments and special moments and the lady's just a great person. She's always been a big supporter of the microflex. So if you would, add Mary Brewer in your prayers. I just got a text from her at the hospital here this morning. And Mark, if you know, how's Don doing there? His mother, I know there's a... I haven't heard from him today and I know again he may have to try. So folks, your prayers for Don's mother? Yes. in Arizona? Is that where you live? Yeah, in Arizona. So, you know, the micro effect has always been somewhat kind of, we treasure our friends here at the micro effect, especially people that's been with us for a very long time. And, you know, Mary Brewer has always, she's been on the fire. I don't know how many times trying to keep our chat room cleaned up, just getting into arguments with people, throwing people out. But, The lady's got a heart. I sent her back a text message. I said, well, you better tune in because I'm going to play Rocky Top. Rocky Top happens to be her favorite song. Whenever we've done a music show or something like that, her first request is always play Rocky Top for me. So there we played it for you, Mary. And this won't go into the archives, so she'll be able to hear what we're doing because she's not able to listen right now. Anyway, we're still working on a drawing my friends for the entire complete radio station here. We have I think seven entries left. Okay, there's seven more to go. So that's a $100 minimum contribution. We'll get you an A-1 time. We're shooting for 30 entries and right now we're at 23. And so there's seven more to go and as soon as that number seven comes in we'll have reached 30 and we will have the drawing for the complete radio station. So if you'd like to do that this morning 208-935-0094 or go to the front of the website and use the donate button and put a little note in there as you go along. I'm not sure if we have, we did have one gentleman call in yesterday who was going to mail in a hundred bucks. So we will His name has already entered. We will do that. And if you'd like to, snail mail is PO Box 164, Kami'i, Idaho 83536. Once again, PO Box 164, Kami'i, Idaho 83536. And again, if you're going, if you're the only officer you have is snail mail, please, please, please call us and let us know that you're doing that because we have no way of knowing that there's something on the way. and you wouldn't be counted in because of our, we're not, we didn't know. Okay. So again, that's for the FM Ramsey transmitter, the 9024 Ballinger compressor limiter, the YAGI antenna, a KU-band satellite receiver system, and a mixer board brought to us by Mark Feaster down in Tennessee. Also, Mark had offered yesterday You sent me a message during the program that anywhere within the lower 48, if you need help putting the station together, you've never done it before, then he would be happy to be, you know, get there as soon as he can and help you with it. Okay? So I just don't know what else a person could ask for. Lots of tech help out here. Somebody willing to go onsite with you and help you with it. Everything is right there at your fingertips. all for a $100 contribution. So, 208-935-0094. And, Barry, when you listen to this recording, God bless you, hon, we love you much because you've been with us for so long. We're sorry about all the troubles you're having. And that's what I have for this morning here, Mark. I was just, uh... And again, the whole state of Michigan, now it's halfway, so we gotta keep an eye on that kind of work. Michigan is off the road, you know, people, nah, What's the weather like there and up on the rock this morning by the way? Well, about the same as it was yesterday. We got somewhat warm in the mid-30s. Been having clear skies at night here. So, you know, it's kind of usually when you have clear skies it gets colder because you don't have any overcast. But not too bad. Not too bad. Hey, you know, I also need to mention I was on the phone with Tim yesterday who handles our website for us. We need to share with you all that. There is a little bit of a survey button there on the main page. If you all would patronize that for a while, you can only register once, but it was just asking you, how do you listen to the micro effect, whether it's on satellite, internet, or on your iPhone. And if you could go there and just, it's just a little bit of survey. So we know where our, you know, both of our listeners are right now at bulk of our listeners, according to Tim, is on the internet. So If you would do this right on the front page, just scroll down the right side and you'll see that. We also have a spot on Facebook. If you would go to Facebook and like this on Facebook, try to gain us some popularity there. We have a forum as well. Not too many people have been accessing the forum here in recent times. Mary is actually the one who's been posting a lot of articles along with Mark and others that have been monitoring the Facebook so there's lots of articles on there that you might want to be reading. All the features that we put up on the website are things for people to access and to use and participate on the micro effect. Leave your comments and this kind of thing. So I just wanted to remind everybody that all those things are there and that your participation, especially with the survey. We can get some idea of how strong we are one way or the other. But right now the internet feed seems to be the most popular at this time. And speaking of the satellite feed, we are working diligently. I'm waiting to hear back from the people. We're trying to get it turned back on. So we're struggling to get that done. That's our goal at the moment to get the satellite feed back online. And unlike the X-Bipe, as Jeff affectionately calls it, they will not be coming back. I guess they're way too deep. And we've never really allowed that to happen with the micro effects. It's within the armed streets. It just takes some contributions from you people out there. So if you're not interested in getting in on the drawing for the radio station, Even $25, $50, $10, what have you, contribution is going to help us reset gold, folks. So 208-935-0094. And I think that's about it. I might think of something else here in the next few minutes here, but there's always a ton of stuff I'm supposed to be talking about. But you get sidetracked, sidelined, and things never come out. We participated in the survey. We're doing that for a purpose. It'll just be up there for a while. So we're just trying to get a feeling for what we have going on. So again, 208-935-0094. Back to you, Mark. I guess it would be a centrifugal gun. There's a number of different narratives, but this is something that came up when the age of electronics. I already knew how to do this. You do the same thing to move a cylinder. You've probably used this as a child. You had these little like shooting galleries, but you had a gun and it had little electric multiple the trigger all the little beeps and they would spit out the front. Well, that's a centrifugal gun. I've built one of these and more serious about it more focused centrifugal weapon like this would be anything that could be dumped in like this end of that arm and then it would be one of those things where I don't want anything for some more babies in there. This is an ammunition. There's all kinds of mean things you can do to people who put a gun like this at sea in leg heights. I mean it'd be just like a boob. Well that would be mean. Well, recognize sound avoid it. Just remember that. They will come in, they'll eat young, they'll kill chill, anything. Again, once you've tried to trap them, plan. No. You're gonna do. Another thing is a pipe. Simple to a two liter pop these videos. And how could I make that about this could be a junk off. She's not gonna like it. The Aero did a lot better than he expected, guys. So you wanna check these out. Again, you don't have to reinvent the wheel. Just learn to be a good driver. Because it's out there and then look at it and go, hmm, now let me give you a little simp. If you wanted to collect the Aero like an Aero inside of Pee-Bees, put it down the tube. It won't create off the Aero. When it leaves, it's not gonna give any resistance or offer resistance when you shift about something on the other end. But you could also be a projectile weapon, gun, all kinds of cool things. Check out the video, do a little search on YouTube, you'll find what I'm talking about. And for a few pennies, you can go out and play with some air tanks, you know, slash p.v. pipe and bottles, and have a whole lot of fun. Anyway, we are tough. Get into the drawing. 2089350094. 2089350094. The sooner we get those 30 people into the drawing, the sooner we're gonna have the drawing, guys. So, again, contribute, help to make it happen. Let's get out on the next mission. God bless the Republic. Death to the New World Order. Shelverville, ladies and gentlemen. Empires on the run. And we're on the march, night and day, Mark. Oh, he's just coming right into the body armor. Whoa, dude! How do you get out of body armor when you've got an arrow sticking through the front plant panel and then kind of stuck into the back panel? But not going through all the way. Hey, that's not fun. Anyway, we'll be back tomorrow same time. Meanwhile, Jim Fennick coming to the next. Thank you, Joe. Thank you, Mark. Get in on the drawing 208 935, 03094. There's only seven entries left. And coming up next, Jeff Bennett, Life's Liberty and all that jazz. And thank you for listening to the microfetch.
