On December 31, 2014, Mark Koernke and Joe McNeil hosted a New Year's Eve morning broadcast discussing preparedness, firearms, and police accountability. The show featured an extended segment on StrikeHardGear.com products including medical kits, tactical gear, and surplus equipment, emphasizing the importance of personal preparedness. A significant portion of the second hour focused on Weapons Wednesday, where callers asked about Mosin-Nagant rifle variants (round vs. hex receivers, Finnish vs. Russian manufacture) and carbine vs. full-rifle performance characteristics. The hosts discussed police shootings and a New York City police work slowdown, arguing that 94% of police enforcement activities were unnecessary. Koernke announced he and his daughter would broadcast oldies rock and roll on KIYE radio until midnight Pacific time.

He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave, in this, the last. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost. You're no more than a slave to land of the free, the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. To start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught. You read about the current use in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and sheep. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and fees. our country, put men of God in jail harass your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters descend artillery and your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. You regain the freedoms for which we fought and died. But don't you have the courage to stand with and are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Sons of the Republic arise. Titution is supreme law of the land. Preserve our great Republican, each God-given right. I awoke he'd vanished in the mist for once he came. His words were true. We are free. But we have ourselves, or even now as parents, trampled each God-given right. We're the only watching tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. By the way, real quick. strange. This is a new set, everything back. We have this happen on occasion in different parts of the street. Hardgear.com. Well how do you guys have the Moyse and Neigat rifle? I didn't know who all was, I've seen, I knew the design was out there, but Strike Card and Neigat, they come in black, but he goes, well Mark, it's gonna chip off. Good. Naturally and somewhat. It doesn't have to perfect, in fact, people have a tendency to go pat. Look out your window. There's nothing that's basic, the basic pattern is gravity sucks. And whatever way they can, little bit of brown, the moisten they got butts right now and for the reason I'm bringing this up, for some people, this looks long enough. For something I just talked about, things fit different. National, they've got big people in Russia, don't you think they have big people in Russia? I mean the farther north you go, you notice the bigger the speed, why were the stocks, what do we call the stocks? The Russians, it's not as good because they were mostly turned into slaves by the rifle in its form. They did change the stock, but that's to say, again, national policy and the basic design of the stock doesn't change. reason? Well they wanted to bring the body, everything is supposed to be a gun platform and they wanted to bring all the points of contact in tighter and closer center of mass. Again we've performed, we've got, we've got, they got, don't change their factory maintenance. This is for the Nagan? Yeah, for the Moisin they got rifle. Yeah, I'm trying to find it here. It's in the, Moisin they got, you tap it, it says choose your weapon. Tap Moisin they got. Gotcha. They also have something else I've talked about. They have a moistened nagot vanette sheet. Never a sheet made for that van. One from the strange about this. Talk to vanette in your belt. Now, this is a shirt pointy thing on the end of that. See, that was like, okay, there's a kind of an interesting twist. And of course you would get punished if you lost your vanette. Well, people probably make sure they didn't lose it if they had vanette. Well, if they didn't know how to make them, guys, they were made out of leather back, you know, in the 1800s. Half of the nagot are also a lot cool SKS. It uses a couple of straps. the second pattern, you know, did not curve it in canvas pistol, but they came up with a pistol belt that had snaps all the way around. Yeah, it looks like they have stripper clips for the SKS-2, that's something that's hard to find. Together, you don't just want them hanging around. Ollie gear oriented for a lot of what they're doing, I think that's a stripper clip. If you're naked and you grab a weapon off the bat, you've got however many rounds it'll carry. And for those of you out there listening, our new advertisers strike hardgear.com and that's where Mark and I are right now. They do have a bunch of cool stuff. You want to check it out? They've got 8K support technology. Yeah, other tactical kits they have here. Looks like they have a surgical kit for pretty cheap. 24-95. Something that everybody should have at least one of. Wire purification tablets. Tactical Frontier kit, let's see here Malus clips EMT shears Large bandages all of all the all of this stuff is useful. I promise you Actually, when you went you went over to let me recommend something I've talked about it. This has got a good pick. I find well not everybody has these and Texas They're not there in really bandage that 795 yeah, not everybody have at least one of those members know where these are and a They're designed to just treating the wound you can clean or the sooner your sterile, really bandaged with these. See a good clear picture. 795 apiece. Get one for each person there in the country. 795 is a good price. The other thing, these are military surplus. I've got... And that's something people, you know, years ago I kept trying to find somebody who could give us a really good deal on medical supplies and it just always seemed to fall on its face. The problem is, is there's wars going on. Guys, most of this stuff goes, if it's suicide, Surplus, think about it. How many places have you seen where we send aid? Yes, Surplus, it goes out. The only thing is, on occasion, like at the end of Desert Dust 1, there were virtually neighborhood-sized piles of gear at Fort Bragg. When I say neighborhood, I'm talking, think about it. The size of a city neighborhood. Pop! Three stories or five stories, casualties. That's why they stopped. I'm telling you right now, years ago, with Desert Dust Part 1, the adventure begins, there's not any more casual propaganda for the American magical kids. We had to spend some money, but we're talking, you know, $2,000, $25. Yeah, one of the notes that's making here on the surgical set is, contents of the surgical set are not sterile, the surgical set is sealed in a plastic pouch. It's a cormorant kit. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, it's a cormorant kit, guys. Something as basic as this, you know, $24. Yeah, that's the, you're the first person on the scene. Chances are, everything is not looking pretty to begin with. utilized. Right. And comes with the straight hemostats, curved hemostats, scaffold handle number three, scaffold handle blades, needle probes, scissors, tweezers, holder, suture set. That's pretty handy to have. A pen light with battery, alcohol wipes, and also antiseptic VGK wipes. Okay, so that's in a little $24 kit. something everybody should be carrying. You know, something very basic that you could be, you know, something fast. I'm bouncing around. He's got lots of stuff here. Yeah, it's in the lower left-hand corner. The last four items, slash, you know, support items. Doesn't that just go through and, you know, look through the items, the technology available guys. The reason I brought up the, because when you build the page, that's something most everybody doesn't think about or they under, look at it this way. Have you ever watched a movie Who shouts that? The guy with the belt... Now that gunner, Mike, everybody carries at least a belt, typically two, and by the way, everybody goes initially this heavy. It doesn't take long for those weapons when you're pulling the trigger and they go boom boom. Yeah, you lighten up real quick. Yeah, you lighten up too fast. And for that reason, everybody carries something. Let me give you a little hint. The medic support works the same way. Why? Well, we're keeping Ralph alive right now. You know, Doc is keeping Ralph alive? That might have to keep you alive. It's a kind of tit for tat thing. If everybody carries additional medical support, you made those pockets, military pockets that are on all your coats and your jackets and a reason, use them. Bare mittens, bare medical supplies, duct tape, you know, medical tape, everything and anything you can think of. And again, Mr. Zakit's thing is drying clean. We talked about this earlier with, you know, Joe talking about, you know, the handgun in the field. The same dust, grud and dirt is on everything. So let's keep from getting See what happens the best you can. Yeah, Ziploc bags are cheap. You can go to the dollar store and buy a whole box full for a dollar. And then you can actually create a second water seal for everything. Your socks, your gloves, your mittens, and, oh by the way, your medical supplies or extra gear. This thing's the same, this is solutions, not just complaining about the problem. But anyway, cool site, take the time, go to it, www.strikeear.com. Check them out. There's a lot of other stuff there on the page. And take the time. Pick out what it is you need. Order from them. And again, you're supporting a sponsor while you're taking care of your needs in the process. There's a lot more on the page, not just what we've been talking about. Go through it, peruse it, and make decisions. But by the way, we got a decision. We got to take off for a minute here. Grab back a cup of coffee. Oh, but I'm going to go to work. You guys get out the door. Make sure you get your keys. Grab them before you leave that counter there. coffee with you. Head on down the road, remember some places get freezing out there. You see slick, you see ice, it is slippery. When you get to the intersection, we'll be back right here on the rocks. It's Wednesday, drawn coming up. Enter in the drawing. The time is now. You're listening to the Morning Intel Report. I'm Jill McNeil. Here with Mr. Mark Kornke. And, uh, you know, I wanted to make a little bit of an announcement. I don't know what everybody's going to be doing tonight. There's even all... I'm hoping everybody's smart and just stay... Oh, I stay home. Everybody needs to plop their... I mean, if you're gonna go out, you better remember anything. Yeah. emergency services. Do not... unless you are... If you don't have anybody to fight with, call a cop. right well you know probably if you're not uh... it there you know real quick on that note i would we would get into the subject we needed there ever talk about all the things our copter shooting people with the guy pat we've been covering the thumb in the patriot you know circles for as long as we've been on the air you know because it's not all the sudden all these contact into the the competition some guy in a jaguar actually here's the problem a lot of people who buy jag twitchy out there because cops are more important than the average peasant. We peasants are nothing more than well, what's fascinating is they're just getting all twitchy so if you know you if they tell you to do something and their panties get to munch they'll shoot somebody. If you don't do anything and their panties standing there they're gonna shoot. If you're sitting there they're gonna shoot. If you're walking around they're gonna shoot you. If you exist they're gonna shoot you. So what it comes down to is kind of like what we know I don't know if you saw the other story from the trenches you know that since the two No, they were shot. It was not it was executed because it's all about do it. They'll do it to the back That's the other day and it was very one-sided but it was you know, kind of a one-sided gun battle now That's revenue in New York is percent. Yeah. No what happened? Yeah, in other words, this is something which we said this all along if it's one guy You know one thing is going to happen and they're all gonna go. Well, wait a minute Did you see that? People aren't putting up with it anymore. Yeah, so in New York City, you see, now part of this is a protest, but here's what this tells me. The city is not falling apart. Buildings are not burning. People are still going to find things in stores, right? Down in business by 92 to 94, 95%. They say it could be as high as 96%. And they're writing tickets and they're not sending you know, they're not doing summonses for minor violations slash fill in the blank. In reality, what they're doing is they're trying to hurt the city because there's this war going on, the money collection arm, money profit arm. And so 94% of what they do every day, they don't have any business doing and guess what? Life goes in it. Imagine that. Isn't that amazing? Anybody to think that way. Instead it's, don't you realize it? Why they're down in business by 94%? That obviously that's 94% we didn't need. And that means that most of what you have in the way of those regions of enforcers, you don't need, and you can lay off, right? I wanted to add here, for you folks that are going to be staying home tonight and you're listening on computer, I just wanted you to know that my youngest daughter and myself are going to be on the other radio station until midnight. We're going to do an oldie-goldie rock and roll stuff. programs. So if you wanted to listen in tonight, it'll be myself and my youngest daughter, write this down. K-I-Y-E. K-I-K as in Kathy. K-I-Y-E. And I want you to Google it. It comes up a lot faster if you Google it. That's the initials for the station. K-I-Y-E. and just put that in Google and it will pull up the station that we'll be broadcasting on and you can sit and join us. You can join me tonight along with my youngest daughter. She's going to be my co-DJ for a New Year's program that we'll be running up until midnight Pacific time. So once again K-I-Y-E just put it in the Google search and it'll bring up the radio station and you can click on and listen to the broadcast. Right now we got John and Maine on the line one here. So let's go to John. John, good morning. Good morning Joe, good morning Mark and early happy new year and yes we never go out anywhere. We sit at home and drink a root beer float and try to suggest some McKnight but never make it. Anyway, hey Mark I want to get back to the poisons and how I'll pose it to discuss and I'll listen offline here. You sparked my interest when you were talking to the site there. You've got different achievers, you've got the round and the hex and people are claiming the hex is better, they're made it to a more collectible being the same cartridge in both or should you fire the lighter ball of the carbine and on the finishing again so a lot of people are asking big money for those because they claim that up there and certain made them even better and more accurate finally the Chinese company and again I wish you gentlemen both a wonderful new year your new family I hope you get a chance to tune in today John I will I'm gonna do my best yes right right here on And once again folks, that's K-I-Y-E. Like I say, the best thing to do is Google it. Me and my daughter are going to be down there. She's going to be my co-DJ tonight. So, we'll have a little fun with it. And you can hang out with us. And you can call into that station as well if you want to make a request. Anyway, let's get back to Weapons Wednesday. And you want to address John's questions here? Real quick, number one, and it has to do with, well, I'll go from back to front. Because the Finnish rifles were coming in originally for the same price standard Nagat rifles. If you remember back years ago the Nagats came in the Chinese. The Chinese ones came in big and they were $60 a piece. Most came in they were excellent. A lot of people grabbed the carbine because that's what they sold. So the Nagat's a heavy gun by Vietnamese standards. Got a many people in Vietnam are small but the Nagat carbine was sent there like along with the full-size Nagats but they prefer smaller people. A lot of guys used them a lot of guys handle those. After the Chinese stuff came in, then came the wave of general inventories. And it came from the Renna Revolution companies that had bought the stuff. European countries, as the doors were opening, kind of fell into that category. But, you know, people bought stories in blocks as were made available by them. So they kind of mixed everything together. Shrifles are superior in all categories for one by slavery to build them. The slave to do right, because you're not while you're still breathing. bodies pumping blood. And then you become part of the Happy New Year. Yeah, and then they charge the family for the bullet, okay? With the Communists, there was a difference between kind of worthy of war at the moment, constantly at this many times on the air, but Russia was constantly at war from Bolshevik Revolution forward. There wasn't a time when they weren't shooting at some. They were fighting in the Ukraine, fighting in Georgia, fighting in the stands, then they were fighting in Poland. Now, Finland really was an embarrassment, of course that comes later. Everybody needs to remember that they were fighting in Poland, three different wars, one after another, to try and take Poland. Russia headed west. A lot of people got sent to the Gula. The thing about the Nagat is they couldn't really make any mistakes because they were designed under the Tsar. They had the Nagat, the Finns had to look at who was going to invade. The reason that the Nagat was adopted as a pattern rifle is because they knew that whoever would be coming at them in their wizardry design. It was well suited for the remember guys who also fought on the battlefield. The fin rifles are, like I said, a little different stock. The Russians did. Takes a little more to get the scope mounted on an Agot because of the receiver, plus they did it. Everybody did at one point. I happen to have one of those, by the way. Yeah, the fin rifles are superior because, again, better metallurgy. Number one, the fins, like the Norwegians and the Swedes, and by the way, they're all associated when it comes to industry. That rifle was either made with Finnish or Norwegians, and at the time, that's like saying my M4RTRW. In other words, so the fin rights by war when they and quantity know design concept It's a matter of where they were in what which arsenal built them That's why you can't everybody keep track of our smells took care took more slave labor to harbors because they were closer to the gulags Again, if you make a mistake they would kill you so people who were in the factories typically got a little better treatment They probably got one extra potato day nice warm potato a day when you're freezing is a good way would make sure that square receivers as I said Those are the block earlier receivers there's more skilled craftsmen from the Zarist era designed purely to suit the machining needs of the day also which is why when you see the round receiver grind it because when you make flaxers round services for your sir it's a again a different pattern what machinery you have available and what came the standard and it was realized you could make more in less time and that's why the round receivers became the norm now the next part of that with written has to do with what I mentioned earlier metallurgy well than others depending on whether or not you're getting remember that many of One thing I can say about the Russians, which the Japanese experienced too, is when they were pressed, unlike the Japanese who decided to pitch it a little, Russians pretty well maintained their standards with their steel. And again, they were crude and rude, but they were many negots, and the nature of the design is such that if it has a case failure, it's a safety feature with most voluntary rifles. They were bent rather than blowing up on your face. It doesn't happen very often. You will get the weapon to lock something up too hot, you aren't paying attention. the case expands in the U. The carving versus the law was designed to accommodate troops who were not necessarily in the fight all the time, but you wanted them to have a standard arm or standard ammunition could readily be used. It was designed for artillerymen, messengers, people who were not going to be using, you know, they're using their brain for other things and their hands. It has pretty much all the performance ranges of the regular rifle. It affects it based upon energy applied to the bullet when it left the chamber. The carbine typically has less range. Well, well, the Nagat actually, even the carbine can reach out there. When you pull the trigger, if you have a Nagat rifle, Model 91 versus a Nagat carb, Model 91, 36, 42, whatever, 50s. In each case, when you pull here, you'll notice that you have a flamethrower at the end of the carbine. One good thing is it really would stun a guy in close range, you know, put it to his face. Maybe he didn't hit him, but boy, he doesn't have that mustache anymore. Okay. Yeah, you can hang your hot dog out there, cook your meal while you're hunting. Now the reason is there's a lot of unburned powder and while the comment about light ball and there's an argument that light ball would be preferred, both will perform in the rifle. The issue is simply going to be again, unburned powder and the size. are going to have a difference in bullet drop with either weapon with a heavier bullet. So again, the bullet once is left the chamber. I prefer using a heavier bullet wherever possible only because when it does get down range it's the one thing that the big rifles can do, that the little rifles can do. The thing they have to be taking into consideration is print and performance. In other words, if you buy a mix of flavors of ammunition, some of the 2x54s the same point, although it takes, you know, they're going to get there in different ways. The arc of travel will be different. Remember that they knew that this ammunition would be going out to a number of different weapons in service. And everything that we just described here for the last few minutes, the Russians knew they had in their arsenal. So when you build a weapon, and even if you build a new ammo, it still has to mean specific design generally consists of impact, a fighting system. You will learn changes from one ammunition to another that's what you take people to the range for to theorize them with in performance. We have had this happen in our really monkey fit. We still have the M16 but we can tell you it's a different rifle by calling it the M4 which well when we first came out with the M16 we had a 55 grain bullet. Now presently if you go to enamo.com you will find a flavor range of cartridges you know slash loads and you will notice that you have 55 grain, 62 grain, hell you can even find 70 grain projectiles. to change there much in the same as we have. And yes, there are bullets also required. You gotta remember, one size fits all with the tooling, so the barrel might be shorter, typically the twist. Everything was 30-pifeling, no matter what, because we're at war, and even when I don't want to overburden them with using their brains, it's pretty much built, and that's where the barrel gets the same basic bullet twist. In fact, it's a carbine. When you hear the word carb, a little less precise, with one firearm in all the categories that are called where they're called carbines, and that's the SDS-SK-S, actually improved performance over the AK. length on the AK but it still fits in that niche as a carbine the reason we call it the carbine that the people are trying to call the SKS a family of weapons that were designed for rifles the Ebene light rifle semi-automatic manually up or other weapons like family of right you don't change the nomenclature because they change it for political like the m16 well the m16 is a jambalmatic if it depending on the era and we work most the hammer things and change things and modify things the guy who designed the rifle you know And we gave it a different name so that all you guys would feel good about it. We have a totally different rifle called the M4. Oh, that's a submachine gun called the M4. The mentioning of the, you know, politics of the day. With all of these weapons, different, you know, engineering considerations and design concepts need to be put into the nay-got. We're on the other end of that, guys. There are only so many surplus weapons out there. Next is if you do acquire it, do you want to make it fit you? Well, we came up with here again. The, uh, you're probably in conflict because the way The idea of the weapon here is not the way that they were taught in their concept of who trained the riflemen. It was made most of them were stupid or googled to what they had. The ideas worked, they applied to their army, their particular philosophy, and their ways of fighting. Just remember that. You just have to change it up a little bit, make it work for us. The simplest solution is that little butt pad just to add an inch or two to the buttstock so it gets out where your arms will be comfortable. A stable gun platform. Anyway, we hope we covered the basics of what we're talking about there. Rounder hex receivers, both are good. Big thing with the nay God, keep her clean like any other firearms. She'll serve you well. And you can pass her down to another generation because she's built like a brick dog. Anyway, we're at the top. God bless the Republic. Death to the New World Order. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. We're on the march, night and day. Yes, I know. Everybody's... Pissed because I was just talking down the AR-15. You know I always talk up here. Now, hey, come to the party with whatever you got. I guarantee we'll all be putting holes in blood knuckle, Greg. If it makes holes, that's all that matters. That's right. I don't care what you got, just show up. back right here, no? We got to take off for break? Yes sir, we're at the top of the hour here. So folks, we'll be right back.
