Anyway, I've got some emails yesterday mark Maybe we should talk a little bit how the micro effect to yellow this whole Thing that we are part of how it functions and how it works, you know, just maybe break it down in details You know mark hooks up with me and I hook up to the you know The satellite the internet and all this and also Liberty Tree is up and running That's also another you know, that's marks network and we've joined together here And then for those who put up stations, full small broadcast stations all across the country, they usually feed those stations. Now real radio stations, for lack of a better description, for real radio stations, they do the same thing. They have automation systems that switches from satellite feed to satellite feed, or they might have pre-recorded material and a software in the computer that runs their stations for them. Of course unless they have live like we do here, we do live. We come in and sit down to the microphone and do it that way. I might point out for some of you who are interested in this and maybe you don't have a satellite receiver or something along those lines and you want to use a computer. If you want to use a computer to rebroadcast or do broadcasting, mostly it will handle your music and your rebroadcast situation. You can still download Windows Media Player 9 or 10. You have to go find it and then download it into your computer and get rid of 11. Now the reason I say that is because Windows Media Player 9 and 10 have features that the newer media players do not have. For example, you can create a schedule of audio, whether you load it in yourself or what have you, you can also take that media player, schedule it to pull up an audio feed off of the internet someplace else at any given time. You set the clock, it goes searching for the audio, say you're looking for the micro effect, it'll go find the micro effect, Bring it up, play it for two hours, whatever you schedule it to do, and then turn it back off and then go back to whatever you have recorded in your computer. Okay, so I'm suggesting Windows Media Players 9 or 10 for the reason that you're able to program those to media players to do pretty much what an automation system does. Now you can buy automation software, that's not a problem. It's a little on the spendy side, but some of the stuff they came out with for media players early on was really, really cool stuff. And you could do a lot with it. And then, oh man, we gave them too much. We gave them a Cadillac for the price of a Volkswagen. We're taking it back. Here, here's your Volkswagen, Media Player 11. So, Windows Media Player 9 and 10 is very beneficial for somebody who wants to do broadcasting by using their computer. I thought I'd throw that out there. What else can we throw at the table here? Mark, got any ideas? It's open, man. When you're broadcasting, as we've mentioned before, there's no limit on what you can do. It's just your creativity. Who was it they called? Was it Roger they called in the other day? He's going to create a remote broadcast situation. But in that case, you needed two transmitters. And how that would work is you put one on one frequency. to broadcast to the other one, then you use the other one to broadcast on a different frequency. You don't put them both on the same frequency, it doesn't work that way, you have to have two different frequencies. So one doesn't interfere with the other. And using hookup by telephones. Hybrid, hybrid phone systems. Okay, you can find these phone systems, you can find them pretty cheaply. Things like Gettner, that's G-E-N-T-N-E-R. You'll find them on eBay for the purpose of hooking up to your mixer boards and being able to air the phone calls or we would use a hybrid phone system to hook up multiple stations. Then you have run into things like mixed minuses and this kind of thing. We can talk about that some other time. It's a little confusing for people that are just getting started. One of the things I don't want to do is scare everybody away before they even get started. So we'll just throw some of the ideas and the equipment out there. Are you with me Mark? Yeah. Okay. Just one of the things that you said again guys, you can make a mobile where you can fix it in location. Some people know that there was something into the idea they need to get rid of them. AM and FM basically, but it's one of the more than 10 woods and CHX for connecting more goodies. This is another way if you want to set up a little station, another technology easily access stack one on top of the other. They're all the same width. FM station. Remember you've got all kinds of Ford and buy that separate. Actually went out and bought something brand new equivalent. You're looking at hundreds if not thousands of systems. Some people are nothing. If not they're even over there. That's why we need to be resurrecting and saving as much of this equipment as we can. Now, this reminds me of somebody else's equipment. I want it back! Well, sideways. What I have at the up. We did this with our legal people years ago. Our guys here in the state were working in the courts. And they kept running around and they feel so urgent. How do we just do all the costs? Yeah, what money? Yeah, no, it's not money. That has the whole thing. No, it was going to cost money. Everybody's... This is like the college people, you know, the college oriented people. We're going to have a committee. We're going to spend money. We need six digits for everybody's part of this. Plus, there's millions to get something done. No, it doesn't actually. Stingly enough, if you're just patient and you can write it down, if you can't remember it, write it down. Okay, well, the Kenwood equipment goes over there. It's stimulating, but you send a system. the same system. Change out. Oh, I gotta make a plug for them. I don't know if this will plug in at all. The big thing was for doing work. The guys love the selectors, which used to be a thousand dollar machine. The five was getting them for a dollar a piece because them was getting rid of them. And you put them in pods with the typewriters in pods. Like, take everything you need. Instead of running around pan panicking, we gotta go to... No, you'd go right. All the same. You need to be thinking about Bill. Bill says, well, I got a bunch of this. I don't need any more of it. Wrong. I'm gonna do it anymore either. I'm not gonna do it. Yeah, and I got a bucket full of ice, but the thing is, I also serve them by manufacturer and type. I've got a whole bunch of comp, I've got a whole bunch of members, I've got a whole bunch of apps that take one of the computers, it'll be there. I know, I just got several pieces of software, I'll see if I can find it. If we keep routing like this, you can put together a whole bunch of stations with cassettes, pass-up music, never something in country. Little lady, I got something in country that you can learn from. Well, let me point out something here that works real well. those portable hard drives, you can get them all different sizes. Oh yeah. And load, load, just keep continuing, you know, get a fairly good sized one and categorize everything, you know, country music, rock and roll, oldie goldie, you see, whatever, and just stack it all up into this portable hard drive. And then if you wanted to do, say for example, a music program, then all you have to do is plug in your portable hard drive, you're not absorbing all the space on your hard drive on your computer, and Create a lineup and away you go you can sit there and you know play music until the cows come home But keep gathering anything and everything you can get your hand on I've got Somebody just sent me here recently a 2 terabyte portable hard drive now already have like a 500 gig and I haven't even got that half full yet But what we're going to do with the 2 terabyte is we're going to load everything we have in the station and all of our commercials, bumper music, everything that's here into that 2 terabyte hard drive and in the event that we lose a computer for whatever its function is all I have to do is plug that 2 terabyte portable hard drive in and download everything right back into the computer. I didn't lose anything. We've had that happen before where we've lost things because of the computer. So there's lots of things you'd like to say. You've just got to be a little creative. create a little backup, store all that you can as far as programming goes and those are the kind of materials that you would use on a little low power station. When things take place and nobody else is up and running, you can set up in a portable fashion and be the only audio, news source, what have you, in the whole neighborhood. and people will tune in because if that's all that's available, that's all that's available. So it's easy to do. So again, we're having a drawing for a transmitter and an antenna tomorrow morning. Based on two phone calls that I got yesterday, it sounds like there's another broadcast network that's going down by the head. I'm not sure what that's all about, but I've heard rumors before. We'll sit back and watch. Maybe it's a rumor about ourselves. and they got the names mixed up or something along those lines. Who knows? But 2015 is going to be a pretty critical year from where we're sitting here. So if you'd like to put up a little station, but like I said, I got a few emails yesterday inquiring about low power broadcasting and it pretty much works that way. We produce, bring you the information and this kind of thing. And then you use us as a resource to feed your little FM station if you feel that we're worthy of all that. And you can do it either with a KU-VIN satellite receiver system or you can do it with your computer. It's all hooked up with either RCAs, XLRs or quarter straight jacks. There's cables that you can buy that will go from your computer, just a little 8-inch jack plugging into your sound card. It splits into two RCAs. You can feed that into a little mixer. Little mixer, run a cord back to your transmitter. And you use your slider to regulate how much feed goes into that transmitter and away you go. By the way, I do need to mention that we have two of these UltraDye 9024s left that I was going to let go for 200 apiece. If you want to know what an UltraDye 9024 is, it is a limiter compressor.
