Summary
Mark Koernke discussed preparedness, vehicle maintenance, and self-sufficiency on Weapons Wednesday, December 17, 2014. The show covered financial collapse concerns, precious metals investment, and detailed guidance on acquiring and maintaining older Chevrolet pickup trucks (1973-1987 models) as reliable, non-electronic vehicles for preparedness. Koernke emphasized the interchangeability of Chevy parts, transmission swaps, and the advantages of mechanical vehicles over modern drive-by-wire systems. The episode included announcements about Camp Emmerich militia training, Christmas gift recommendations (ammunition, magazines, multi-tools), and weather preparedness for Michigan winter conditions.

That's the game that's being played now in terms of securitized investments, except the edge of the table is constantly moving. You know, so, if you have to do the game to get as close as you can to the edge, stop, sell out that investment, buy whatever if you're... If you're intelligent about what you're doing, buy whatever metals you can, rinse and repeat. The folks that are in power right now are buying up those metals just to sit down and hold them. How could you look at a world banker or a central banker and have any faith in any sort of, I know you love to refer to them as babble blocks, which I will freely admit I have used in conversation. I love that one man. That's a Roger Stales original right there. No, it came from our little Atlanta group. I don't know that Tom didn't coin that. I think that's the first time I ever heard it was Tom use it. Well, it accurately describes them, doesn't it? It sure does. The Bammals you've read. I'm sitting here just listening to this and it's just like the whole concept to me is like how much nothing is something worth. Well, yeah, zero time. How much nothing is something worth? Like, gold something and babble bucks are nothing. So how much... That's what... You know, the whole thing is like hot potato or musical chairs. You better turn it into something because it's like pouring water into a leaking bucket. Exactly. And that echoes the quarter analogy that I made. And I'm kind of sitting there, I'm sitting at the bar, I'm laughing, doing a portfolio analysis. And I've always got a joke here. And I said, you know you got a good portfolio analysis when your portfolio papers smell like beer and butter sauce and cigarette smoke. But I'm sitting there kind of looking at it. There's seasons. At that point, there's seasons. I mean, and then whatever form it's in, it's really crude to your labors. You know? You either got them stored in babble bucks or you got them stored in something. You know, I mean, so... And if it's even represented in babble bucks, you're pretty much in trouble, I think. A figure walked in through the mist with a flip lock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, spinking low to me, he said. We fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost. You're no more than a slave. In this, the land of free, of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent, although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to this. Read about the current use of a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper, so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken us. You've given government control to those who do you harm, so they could burn down churches and see and reform, and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your chosen institution the supreme law of the land? Preserve our great Republican each god-given right so Okey vanished and missed for whence he came. This words were true. We are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trampled each god given right, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep, and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep, what would be your answer? He called out from the grave. ... for four time are hunky, looser to victory, behind the lines in occupied territories. We're also on Liberty 3 radio or MG. dot com stations and west of the Mississippi along the bottom of Florida across the yorkville, Mexico, Vienna, Mississippi, Oklahoma, big chunk of Nebraska, a whole bunch of Wyoming to include both the 3rd and Jefferson. We turn back to the east, sweep through the plains, leap across the Mississippi and land in the Smokies slash the Blue Ridge. Crews, Gramacins, OK teams in the Mollville, Gramacins, Sorsium of retired television makers make the light work a million Peddicoat Junction operators, yep, Billie. continue to function when everything else is on a beautiful grave. Here in Michigan, the rations get you wet kind of air. It's just what it sounds like. This whole thing takes and it gets sick this morning before you take off. See that? Just one of the rain jackets. In fact, put one in the car that's the ugliest rain jacket you have. Get something that's in, I think, I'm sorry, burgundy. You know what I'm sorry, burgundy or the real something, nobody else that fits you. Make sure it's in the car. Throw an umbrella in there. Go buy one of those. the ladies just if you're out in this stuff you go about not too bad but then you got at night you have a breakdown or something like that that water goes through everything and then put your drop because why we put it in car radiators they'll cool down engines pulling calories off the system it pulls calories off off you the exact yeah is nothing to joke about what watch for the old wool hunting gear the old army OD green or the European wool shirt or jack-shirt as they call them over top of it, or just to the outside. But the sheep, that's why they survived the winter so well, and it's been shearing them for the depths of the earth. It is Wednesday, we're ticking down to the end of the year, but we're ticking down to Christmas too. It is the 17th of December, it is the 60th of open baby in the socialist and the Soviet, social with a K-2000 and it's an accomplished task mission. It is weaponically, quite into 15 watt range, designed not to do. Anyway, the idea here is a tool, it's you know, for the girls, on the shelf, and then buy it, they wrap it up. And you know what's cool? If you have to take and use milk cartons to bring in all the Christmas gift, again, make Christmas really interesting because ammunition would be your first choice, just for the most of it, no matter what. Magazines for people who makes Uncle Fred's got that, and he bought it not too long ago, but he's only got one eggs under the tree. Hey, can I check out that pistol you carry? Oh, that's nice. We got one egg for it. Search, leave a couple more eggs at least, and do it now, because you only got for Christmas. I know the gun show, there's only a punk shotgun cheaper than 22's. You got the money, grab a tin, but you gotta work at this now. It's written down, you gotta be able to use tools. So not just the Kerber, I got a 17 years ago now, does it seem like it's seven, seven, yeah. What's interesting is, works just fine, doesn't wear a piece right on ticket, but there's a lot of other multi-tool, more than one thing, that's what you wanna buy. More tools in smaller space, you know, there's more tools, and still have the same space. Multi-headed ratchet, so that you can, you know, replace it. What's cool is you can buy two of those, but the cool thing is, is that you don't have to try to find another one if you've got a rad driver there for it. Okay, and you got it right there in tools once, and you got more. That's a good thing if you want to do. Anyway, those trees should be heavy. The first thing you need to do to do this, we have the drawing coming up on today, is the 17th, so on the 19th, you got the drawing coming up. If you can, call in, 208-93500-94, 208-93500-9 MicroEffect.com, the Micro... the micro... When you get there, and you can donate and get into the drawing, and using the PayPal, you know, you can use it. So, here again, one of the cool things is that we're ending the Micro FM program, the Micro Effect, with the issues that are being, you know, we've seen progressively cascade into the intentional attack and collapse, trying to get World War III going, which they've already been really pumping. It's kind of like, it's really the precursor thing, it's like Spanish Civil War Syndrome, guys. The Shysters, They can't really afford to acknowledge gun right now. Something's taken to consider. It's gonna be like officially World War 3 has begun! But instead we got a whole bunch of like major conflict wars that have killed how many people? No, because you're not being told if it's possible, but you see lots and lots of corpses piled up all over the place. And the t-shirts with regard to their... We're not playing this time. What if somebody held a war and nobody came? Well sure so. The prostitutes who were trying to push it won't be What if somebody held the war and nobody came? Well that happened with Syria. They tried to get us to warn Syria last year. The way they look like they're shot or look like they're, oh my god, something to remember. But it always looks like, when they open their mouth, they look like they're going, ah, it's really kind of cool. Well that's what it's looking like right now. Everybody knows. We're setting up one new building up this right. This song is for our brothers and sisters. RCT, regimental combat, but Emmerich is going to be fun. Coming up, the heavy fog here in the across the state. Remember if you see shiny spots on the road, it's gotten cooler. So expect ice in the farther north you go, the more that we're going to see. And it's just a winter time. Reverse phrase, be prepared for that. Finally seeing snow the way we saw snow when we were growing up. Isn't that fantastic? I think it is. Now get over it. You're listening to the Morning Intel Report. I'm Joe McNeil, here with Mark Cornke and its weapons Wednesday, on the 17th of December 2014. And a good morning to you. And by the way, I was thinking about that song this morning. So, for playing it by the way. Who is the author of that piece? I've had people ask. Do we know? It's Waylon Jennings. Okay, there we go. Tune, punch in. Well, what's the title? What's it go by? Old Unconstructed. An Old Unconstructed by Waylon Jennings. Everybody out there, take the time. You will be able to search it on YouTube or you can search it in general. You can fight music. And that's one of those pieces that needs to be thrown in there. I'll tell you what, this is the way it was today, here, during that window of activity. And then, the wind ducked below, no shovels all... Oh look, it's nice, it's nice! And people were even acting like that. It's like, oh we don't have time! I said, yeah, how long you lived in Michigan? Oh look, there's snow. Oh, and it's not stopping. And it's not snapping. All of a sudden we got 6 feet of snow. Hey, 7 feet of snow. Oh, I got a new one I got for free. Let me get through that snow. There's not going to be a snow next year. I think I got one new one. I got one that's ancient. The ancient one is a beast, but you know what? It works year after year. It's 40, 35 years old. I'm going to just keep the thing today. Get that. Before we go any farther, real quick here. The PTR-91s from CDNN Investments. CDNNinvestments.com or CDNN-91 and HKRite. I am trying to hit something and minimize my flash signature. Anyway, that's through CDM Investments. Now listen to this. There's a Christmas special, and it's because they get them from the people I've told you about. There's only one wholesaler that has the HK-91 mags in the concrete and mast. Seen every mag that you'll buy from them. You rented another tree that went out of business and placed up. I always looked at it and said hi, because at nine walked through and looked at all the mags and said wow. And went to another chamber and said wow. 100 yards worth of mags and said whoa. These mags are cheap because there's lots of them. There aren't that many rifles in the country that take them because they only recently and not really available. Well, the PTR-91 is made in the United States. Military mags, these are not aftermarket, these are not somebody else made. These are military, serial-membered, HK-91 mags slash G3 mags for a dollar apiece. One dollar apiece. The Razor, it saves it usually, you can kill 14 mags. Right now you get the time when these mags are about $16 apiece. American mags run 20, 25, 30, for $1.25 a piece, but there are mags out there. Well think about this. M14 mags, I can buy 20 K91 mags. Now all three of those rifles, slash HK, is the cheapest of the need and 10 mags. If you're gonna do this and import you buy 100 HK mags, you get 100. Is there a dollar a piece? Get the aluminum ones. I had the aluminum ones are made to light the combat load. For a dollar a piece, who the hell cares? most people don't know about aluminum is there are many many different grades. The Germans went with the highest grade, the uppers could take a beating. It was designed to be, you know, make steel mags. Now when the steel mags, the aluminum mags, you guys, were all in the same bins, all jumbled up, all stacked together, and when the company originally was selling them, a hundred mags they would take like crates. You just want to get them out of the factory. We could charge more for the steel mags. I like the steel mags. I've got 300 of them. A dollar apiece. Well Mark, you bought them for 50 cents. Why would you buy them for a dollar? Because investment. Uh, why not? Get a... and you know what? Let's see, we got Doc and that's their broad Corvettes. I just like driving a Chevy Impala, you know what I mean? I'll tell you what, to get... More than once. That's right. So it might be the Corvette, might be cool, and it's pretty. I love it. See if you remember this one. You remember the Biscayne? The Biscayne, yeah. Yeah. That was... now guys, if you want to play Jane Chevy cheap, that was as cheap as you could get. Two-speed high-load transmission. Power glide. Yeah. Beautiful transo those things are run forever full Chevy body big body guys. We had a you know Nancy had a the oh my goodness She never got rid of it. We had eventually had some engine problems and somebody was like, okay cheapest way to get a buddy Chevy with all that Chevy engines and put oh, yeah, well, that's Well, let's talk about that for a minute because I know a bit about it Chevrolet is notorious for the ability to swap out for example You can take a six cylinder out of a Chevrolet and drop in a big block. Things like transmission, bell housings, etc. all interchange with the small block to the big block, etc. Now you can't do that with any other vehicle. Are you talking plug and play? That's what I'm talking about. As effective as it was. And you know, it was something I wanted to bring to the table. I'm glad you brought it up here this morning because there's something I had on my mind here while back there we should talk about. Maybe now is a good time. Folks, if we're in the future, of course, with all the new electronics drive by wire, if you don't know what drive by wire is, drive by wire is a computer operated throttle control system, okay? there is no cable to the carburetor or a linkage rod or anything else. It's a computer telling your throttle body what to do. Wait till that melt, you're going to enjoy that one. Exactly. The reason I wanted to talk about this is everybody that is listening right now, for the purpose and sake of dependable transportation, okay, shall we put it that way? Having an older, for example, here's what we're working on here right now. I have several people involved. And we just got to building one a couple of months ago. What we did was we rounded up some junkers and they're sitting right outside. And we took three pickups and a Suburban to build a pickup. And what we did was we had our hands on a four-wheel drive, half-ton Chevy pickup. The motor was good, transmission was bad. It had an RF7 transmission in it. And so we, out of the Suburban, we took the four-speed transmission along with the Vel-Housing, all the linkage and all this, and transplanted it into the pickup. So we switched it over from a automatic to a manual drive, which is something you can do. All the pieces just transplant. You have to have a Donator Vehicle, so to speak. and you can, it is possible, we've done it, is transplant all the mechanisms from one to the other. And if you ever did anything like this, you would find that, for example, when you pull back the matting on the floor, the carpet, or whatever you have there, you'll find if the holes are not drilled already, you'll see indentations, you know, where it would have been had it been a standard shift, for example. And so you don't have to measure or do anything. There'll be little dimples for where the screws go, for maybe a boot or a bracket or something along like those lines. And you simply just have to drill the holes and put it all together. But it's all stamped right into the body. That's not some of them. That's all of them. So if you wanted to do a transplant, say you have an automatic but all you have available is a stick shift, you can put that stick shift in there. It requires, for example, pulling the steering column out, pulling out your brake booster, the clutch assembly, the two pedals, you're going to go from one pedal to two pedals. Okay, so you reach up under the dash here, you pull out the steering column, you release or take the brake booster and everything off of the firewall, remove the single pedal assembly, install the double pedal assembly, and then it all bolts up to the backside of the brake booster system. Okay, so you put the brake booster system back on, your double pedal system bolts right back onto that, and then of course you have to cut a little hole down the bottom of the floor for your clutch rod to go through. It's all doable. So I was going to suggest, and I do suggest, that the body styles from 1973 to 1987 are virtually all the same when it comes to Chevrolet pickups. All interchanged. All of it. The boxes, the front ends, the cabs. All is the same. So you have a from 1973 to 1987 to any pickup trucks that you know, four wheel drive, two wheel drive. I don't care what it is. Everything within that range from 73 to 87 is definitely all interchangeable. And capable. And need to be not cost out but put off as a hanger queen category for the time being. You can pick these trucks up all over the place because there are millions of them made. And Chevrolet parts are cheap, number one. Even at the Napa store or AutoZone or what have you. You can pick up, you know, like a fuel pump, 20 bucks, you know, it's just easy and very doable. Even if you're not a real big time mechanic, you'll see real quickly that all interchanges. That's the brake booting, everything. The windshields, the doors, the window tracks, you know, for the windows in the door. Everything that you can think of all interchanged. In this particular four wheel drive that we put together, We ended up with a Turbo 350 and a transfer case, a Turbo 400 and a transfer case. Of course, we took out an R7 and transfer case. The transmission was no good, but the transfer case was. And then, of course, we had the 4-speed with a transfer case. And with all these, they had their drive shafts. Everything is interchangeable. So what's the significance of having an old vehicle? Well, first off, you can buy aftermarket parts. For example, the Edelbrock four barrel will replace something we affectionately call the quadra-junk carburetor. And the vehicle starts much better, runs much better. Just all kinds of things that you can do. So if you're in a position to obtain one of these pickup trucks from 73 to 87. Just know that there are more parts available for those trucks. I mean all across America. I don't care where you are. You're going to find parts of that pickup truck. And you can virtually put one together one piece at a time like old Johnny Cash told us how to do the one piece at a time and have a four-wheel drive that they can't turn off electronically You're not worried about electronic failure as in drive by wire. None of these things. It's the old school, this isn't going to fail program. So I did want to bring that up here just so that people know. Anybody that twists or inches and works on a car or what have you, maybe you didn't know that, but from 1973 to 1987. A full truck built in the country for the detective. Built in the world, yes. Yes. In fact they are. The production line for that was right here in Flint, Michigan when you travel right up 20, they come together right there. Which they make, you know, they make the regular pickup. Typically the Air Force gets a crew. I don't know why the Army doesn't mind. You throw, you put a little fleet of Humvees in front of me. I used to own them every day. Everything and more, applauding that I can't do with a Humvee, I can do with that pickup. That pickup truck, I've had a Chevy breakdown that right there. I've got 73. It's not lined green, it's actually, oh, you can't match it up, you can never match the paint. Once they made it for one year when they started making the truck but broke down a little bf e with the farms are you know i'm behind far more old vehicle with the guy there locally here you got no chevy sitting back there you what's wrong with it will be a few pump in it yes it does what you want to tell that you'll come but yeah give me five dollars you can have it okay i looked at the hood i pulled the two ball cold out be careful with that cap and rod guys that you got your lose that for the guys got the engine or it kind of slides right out. And then, look what I got. I got a fuel pump. You know, I walked over and I took the other fuel pump right there off the road, off the side of the road and I put the other everything back up. And you know what the miracle was? It worked! And that's the whole idea, guys. The other, somebody mentioned in this in the chat room, is the K5 Blazers. That's the bigger Blazers, not the S10. but the K5, the beautiful... Full size blazer. Full size blazer are in the same mall park. Yes. The only difference, everything under the hood in the front end for example is the same. All the drivetrain is too. Everything underneath it counts where you gotta spend money. You can save a whole hell of a lot of money that way and if you see them, you need to start pulling them. If you guys are down south, ever get a... Please don't shoot them up either. Man, I'll tell you what gets me. Watch guys, I know they're having fun. You know, there's a little brat, which is not Chevy. It's just a neat little attack vehicle. Guys, we have a whole little fleet of them. We got them for nothing, because back when they started to get old, a couple hundred dollars, three or four hundred dollars a piece. Collect them all. So we got a little rat patrol. The Chevy trucks first started coming out. They were cheap. Now you have a niche. People from Missouri, listening. Now you guys know they've been showing up three and then the other base is up and down the Mississippi. At least don't laugh. Actually, they're going to sell all these. Vehicle for a preparedness vehicle, because you can also carry a few spares. and go a long way if you need to. We'll talk more about this on the other side. I've got people in chat mentioning Ford Broncos and different things. We'll go across this and explain why it needs to be a Chevy folks. Right. You know what, guys, I drive Chrysler's. I love Chrysler's. But the bottom line is the Chevy truck, the square body custom 20, you know, the big body truck, is the big Chevy truck to pick up. Doesn't matter if it's a Cheyenne, Silverado, whatever it is. Bless the republic. Death to the New World Order. We shall prevail ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. And we're on the march night and day. Or better still, we're marching over to our custom plenty, jumping in, turning the key, and then arcing the AO with a couple tons of gear in the process.
