Visit them online today at MainMilitary.com. That's Main, like the state, Military.com. I had a dream the other night that Well, I didn't understand. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat. And speaking low to me, he said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money is spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God-given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God given right we only watch in tremble too afraid to stand and fight If he stood by your bedside a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep What would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Is this still the land of the free? Ladies and gentlemen, this is the evening intelligence report. I'm our kirky One day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters, both on and behind the lines of occupied territories West, Southwest, East, and ladies and gentlemen you are listening to us on LibertyTreeRadio.4mg.com, Indiana Freedom Talk Radio.com, we're on AM and FM Micro stations, CB base stations, and UltraNet technologies. east and west of the Mississippi along with Alaska. We're on the Hallmark network from the top of Maine to the bottom of Florida. From the bottom of Florida across the arc of the Gulf of Mexico. Headed Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Oklahoma, big chunk of Nebraska, a whole bunch of Wyoming to include both the 3rd, the 5th, and our friends in the recall state of Colorado. Waving to the left coast where we have the great state of Jefferson, we turn back to the east sweep across the plains and leap over the Mississippi landing in the Smoky slash the Blue Ridge where the restaurant crews, grandma teams, okay teams and the Ma Bell Grammar Consortium of retired telecommunications workers bring us the golden spike. Many hands make for light work. A million petticoat junction operators, the ability to continue to function when everything else is off. I'll tell you what is a beautiful December day it is weapons Wednesday. It is the third of December. It is the sixth year of open Fabian socialist and Soviet socialist occupation of America with a K two thousand fourteen old earth calendar or Mayan crazy crazy town So we might have Dom with us here. Let's check to see real quick before we go any farther and very good We are all in a Ponzi world right now hoping to get bailed out by the next person. Well, that's true. What we've been telling you all about with regard to the fake paper, he who steps away from the fake paper sooner and is ready to just, you know, step sideways and let, you know, everything fall where it does, will be better off in general. More on that perhaps tomorrow, I think. But... Hey Mark. Go ahead, caller, who do we have? Yeah, I got Mike from Ohio. Go ahead and jump in there please. They are giving free shipping until Friday for the listeners of Liberty Tree Radio. All they have to do is type in if they go on the website there at OhioOrdinanceWorks.com. When they get down to the thing there, they can type in Liberty Tree and they get free shipping until Friday night at 6 PM. Ohio Ordinance has got a lot of good goodies. If you get a 30 cal, they only have less than about 80 to 90 kits left for the 1919 A4. If anybody is looking for a parts kit, they are running out. So that's the end of them guys. Well it's not good, but it's good. It means people are buying them is what's happening. Yeah. Now like I said, it was over there with a friend getting some parts for his. And like I said, talk to the people and give them a hard time. They give us a hard time back there. But they're good folks there. They have quality stuff. And if you're looking for something, get on their site. They have two 40s. You can get that. You can get BARs. You can get all kinds of stuff that are in semi-auto, already put together, or you can buy kits. They also have, for like AK receivers, too, they have a bunch. As a matter of fact, they sell the center fire, too. I have a new banner ad for Ohio. For everybody out there, www.ohioordinates works with an S. You'll notice they have the upgraded Browning 2 in there. It's interesting to take the Browning and bring it into the 21st century. It's got all the looks of a more modern gun. I would point something out. Mark, that's a Model 1918 Browning. What do you think the MAG-58 is? You notice the design, guys? It's a Browning gun. All they've done is, well, they reconfigured where the pistol grip is. But if you look at a Browning 1919A7, look at the infantry, squad infantry version, you might notice that they've done this before, about like 40 years ago. So, yep, and we're carrying the MAG-58 as, what is it, the Model M258, the Marine Corps or whatever. So, guys, it's not like they haven't been around. Go ahead. Okay, on the Model 7400 Remington, the semi-auto 30-06, the magazine on that. Could you put a bar in that one? No, you couldn't. That's something we experimented with years ago, and what they did is they went a little narrower with the magazine. It's close, but the thing is they rounded the front, depending on the model you've got. The ones that we experimented with years ago have a bit of a round curl to the front of the magazine well. Now that could be altered if you're a good tin knocker. We never really got deep into that. And the reason that we didn't really start working on the Remingtons for the magazines using the BAR or something like that is that there's a couple of companies. Eagle, remember, was one years ago. They started making 10 and 20 rounders for those. I don't know if they still do. I believe somebody picked up the molds. Originally they were a smoked clear plastic. They were dark smoke. They also made them in a kind of a milk jug color. The milk jug color didn't take off with the dark smoke. The real dark dark smoke. It almost can't be seen through. Then the solid wall plastic. I believe that one company on the east coast was also making a 15 round mag and that was the compromise. The 20s seemed to be a little big. The 10s, well, still 10 is better than a 3 round mag or a 5 round mag. The 10s worked flawlessly. Everybody I know that bought the 10s, they never heard a complaint from them. Yeah, you're coming in and out. Uh oh, I'm coming in now. How's that sound? Is that better? Oh much more. One, two, three, one, two, three. Oh, I know what I was doing. There we go. I was hitting the wrong, touching an aperture here. Sorry about that, guys. Anyway, the 10 round, they made 10 and 20 round mags for the Remingtons. Remember, the pump mag should work intercross, but they were both still the basic limited magazine capacity. So Eagle came out with them first. I think that another company that was a Midland something or other, they came out with mags in the 80s. You still see both of them floating around brand new on the card or offered by different companies. One of them was out of Ohio. Check Southern Ohio Guns Scroll. You've got to go through the whole page to do it. Yeah, I know. I know. So I have Southern Ohio. Yeah, they've got good stuff. Yeah, they've got a lot of good stuff, but you've got to go through the whole...they don't have really everything indexed unless they've changed the page recently. Last time I went to it, you just have to be patient. And that's kind of a good thing because not everybody is. So it's more likely you'll find what you're looking for. Because somebody else didn't bother to look. But they had Remington mags, the later contract mags that were done for independent aftermarket. So they might have some now, which would be worthwhile. One of the cool things about those two again is brand new. I'd say they'd be good for several years service. I wouldn't plug them in right away other than just to test them for function and then I'd just keep them off to the side in your gear. and then keep watching for the five-rounder factories you can from Remington or Remington for a little fit or pick of trying to be in line with everything on our side for a little bit there in the 90s. They made some 10-round factory mags but I only saw one or two of those and it was kind of like Ruger. If you were special you got them and if you weren't, well, you're in on you. Probably they were built for or probably generated mostly for law enforcement So you might find them in that direction where somebody's you know got an old law enforcement inventory Because you know obviously everybody's moved more towards them, you know, no conventional military arms for most departments You don't see as many of the civilian arms use as we used to Which is you know not not necessarily great thing in some areas because a Remington Remington could have developed a couple of weapons beyond what they did remember they came up with Well, there's the camp carvings from every manufacturer there in the 80s, and they were a great idea. And they were pressured to walk away from them. They never should have. I mean, they created a niche for themselves that would have been, you know, would have developed dramatically had they stayed the course. And in 9 and 45. And logic would dictate that once they had them figured out 9 and 45, that once 40 caliber came into play, they continued to produce, and I think it had done pretty well. Anyway, just a case in point. The Remingtons otherwise, I don't know of anybody newer that's making mags, but I would be surprised that somebody isn't. Usually there's one of the aftermarket heavy rifle companies or another that have made Remington mags because they are so common. There have been 45, almost 50 years worth of production in their semi-auto guns and the pump guns in the rifles. He asked me today, so I thought I was just talking to you, I was just going to touch your brain there and see if you knew anything on that. SOG might be the place to look because they're the last place that they had them on the cards. Eagle put them on a card and for a little bit they had like a black and white zebra stripe on an angle. It was kind of an attention getter and they were still in the bubble plastic, the last ones I saw. So they're unissued. New old inventory is what they are if they're laying around. Eagle had the eagle cast on the side with the middle period and then they went plain Jane with the ones for police marketing, that kind of thing. So that's how you can tell the difference between the two. The low key were the military and police type. The eagle banner outcast right into the side of the mag was the ones that typically went into the general civilian market when they first came out. Those are us as I remember them and I had a lot of guys did buy them because there's a lot of Remington's out there Otherwise real quick going to the scroll here. It looks like before we go away from them Let's see Oh, hi ordnance there They got a whole bunch other goodies on the shelf here to we're checking out too. So they had a pile of stuff there. Trust me I'm going to go ahead and do that. call I think we are trying to just tap them as the friends saying, hey if you advertise a suit you can do and maybe you need to talk to Mark type things. Exactly. The suit we can do to help you guys out. I appreciate that. Again, you may be looking for unique barrels. Don't be shocked at the price of some things you are looking at. Remember that some of these items are unique. or as we say jokingly, Uniq. They're unique and there's a reason that they cost what they do. But they've got a lot of interesting, in fact even for making project barrels, these are barrels that are for specific weapons systems guys, MG15 water cooled barrels, 1917, 1928 Colt Blued barrels. Those are obviously South American contracts, they're 765 Argentine. Now the 765 Argentine round is comparable to the OTS-6. So if anybody else was wondering about that. Just as a case in point. They do show an M249 barrel, only 1.670 but that's a military barrel there. And it's a shorty parabearl. So there's a bunch of cool stuff that they have, they've got books, ammunition, Also, services, if you're looking for maintenance on weapons, I'm sure, again, check their page out. Go to www.ohioordinanceworks.com. That's Ohio Ordinance. That's O-R-D-N-A-N-C-E, Ordinance Works.com. And then check out the page. And I'll tell you what, I'm going to look at the ammunition real quick. I mean, as long as I'm on the page, I might as well check her out. So for everybody out there, again, look to see what they... Oh, they do have some Kruppgun, or a 5 centimeter Kruppgun brass. That's a little pricey for people that are looking at it for the first time, but if you're looking for a sample piece of brass, let's say that you have a gun that somebody bought back in 1962, and there's no paperwork on it, but maybe you need a piece of brass so you can start making your own. Well, one piece of brass is the template for a whole world. Always remember that guys and hint hint hint that's what guys do with unique things like that. Well, they do have some macro of ammunition in stock and Check out well it seems to be only a little bit of ammunition not a whole lot but they got me specialized in parts and guns as we know and Well, also we might what it what's the non guns category. I always love it when they have a non guns category I assume those are the again non-active weapons because there are copies of the BAR, the Browning belt feed, you know, belt fed guns and a whole lot of other fun stuff too. So, oh it's a wide rail, okay so, let's see, no BF transfer, benefits of the non-guns, okay, join today. Well, okay, we'll have to wait and get ahold of more information about that. And, see I'm gonna go, this is the first time I had a chance to actually peruse the site. So, I'm going through learning new things myself. Now on the parts sets, again guys remember sometimes you need a template for other work. And it's nice to get parts sets. If nothing else, many of our people that work in weapons have parts laying around just so they have an example of how things work. There are two reasons for that. Maybe someday you need to make it work yourself or maybe you want to make something else work that you're creating on your own and you don't need to reinvent the wheel, somebody else already did it. which is something we want to remind people about. They do have a pretty good price on the VC58 parts kits at $275 a piece. Now that comes with everything except the receiver and yes the receivers are available including four mags, mag pouch which should be leather, Vanette which has a leather sheath and looks like it's from Virgin. In addition to that, pretty much every part looks like they're also already cleaned up so that it's rivet and screw and congratulations you have a VZ58 and 762x39. Make a like, Scott. Hey Mark. Not a problem. Go ahead. Hey, look at the top of the page there. They got the Ma Deuce. I'm sure Don would like one of them. Yep. Oh yeah. And now $6,500. Everybody goes, oh my god. Well, hey guys. Write him a check. Yeah, you don't need real money. Right? I'm a check check or remember this was plastic is more Well, they do have like I said complete semi auto parts kits 1990 a four's for 1,549 And they've got the side plate kit semi-auto for $800 so if you're looking at you know again, look if you've already built a couple of brownings over the years We've got the doctors down the road. They've already picked up a number of these in the semi-auto belt feed brownings. And guys, this gives you a lot of firepower and you don't change mags. You know what I mean? Pup, pup, pup, pup, pup, pup, pup, pup, pup. As quick as your finger works is as quick as the action functions. Your little finger can't move as fast as a full mouth. The rivet kits are awesome. They're tapered. They're not like a lot of the ones that you see that come in with just the round heads on them. That's why they charge $65 for the rivets, but they're the exact ones for the kits. I've known a couple people that had the guns and they always had problems with them coming loose. When they would shoot them because of the round rivet kits, they put these kits in and they don't have any problem then. They did stay right in there. Very good. Again, those parts are available. Look at the site, guys. Let's see, I didn't look at the parts. I got to go look at parts before I say anything. www.ohioordinatesworks.com. Then you go by barrels, accessories, tools, belt links, miscellaneous parts, which really makes me wonder what I'm looking at there, although I think that is a night vision fixture for one of the new helmets. M240 accessories, flare pistols and flares. Thompson parts, VZ58 parts, looks like they actually are committed to the VZ58 which is a really good kit to buy from the industry right now. They're good weapons, there's nothing wrong with the VZ58. In fact, they are actually making them both in 7.62x39. You might recall one of our Canadian listeners called and pointed out that they were actually buying 223 versions of the BZ-59 up there, BZ-58 up there in Canada, which we can't get here, which I thought was most interesting because you know what? A lot of people would buy that rifle. So just a heads up, good design, good weapon system. Again, if you're looking for shorty Thompson 20 rounders, now they're $35 apiece, but those are original auto ordnance Thompson or military US Army spec mags, you know, in other words, factory mags. Looks like they've got a wide variety of other goodies. Oh, oh my favorite Yeah, the original World War two German you boat flak 30 magazine. Oh, yeah, you gotta have one Well, actually there's a four hundred and sixty three dollars and ninety two cents But you gotta remember something if you have the gun You're not worried about paying that price for the mag if you needed a few spares And there's a lot of, for anybody who wonders what that is, have you ever noticed you didn't see most of the air defense guns working on the subs but you see pictures of them on occasion? Well not all of those are belt feed and the mag feed is more common both for the British and for the German naval air defense back in the day because the mags were easier to handle and more reliable. Easier just to change mags out or like we did with the 40 buffer we actually used with the 40 millimeter guns that we had We used a five round stripper clip like a big Springfield stripper clip Drop it in and boom, boom, boom, boom, and you better drop another one in fast because you can eat that five rounds pretty quick Especially when the gunner is going full auto on you. So boom, boom, boom Just something to think about so there's a bunch of cool stuff there Check out the page if you're looking for browning parts if you're looking for browning maintenance If you have other unique weapons, there are unique magazines on site too. And of course they do have BAR mags. And just to give you an idea, the four mags in the pouch by themselves, which this is about the average price, is $90 for the VZ-58. But if you buy it with the weapons kit and the whole shebang, you get four mags with the gun for about, what, $250? It's not bad. And the kit, the receivers are running about $62. Anywhere from as little as, I've seen them for 41 but I haven't seen them in a while for that. But you're looking at a finished semi-auto or 80% finished semi-auto lower, a complete receiver, and then all those parts get riveted on, tacked down, or screwed down accordingly, then you've got yourself a VZ58. Pretty cool. Go ahead, caller. And my mistake under is that VZ58, a forged receiver gun. It should be a machine. It can be forged. There's three ways it was made. Infusion cast, strike forged and then finished completed. And or fabricated from parts. The fabricated from parts were individual 41, 40 or 41, 32 whatever it was, Euro, steel. And what they did is the components assembled everything and then those were welded together accordingly. I did not think that that was a sheet metal receiver. No, no, it's like the machine AK receivers. Yeah, much stronger and probably quite a bit more accurate. Yeah, it's a good weapon. It has the silhouette of an AK. A lot of people have even not really paid attention. They've seen pictures of people have drawn back during the Cold War and they'll go, boy, that guy was stupid. He didn't draw a very good picture of an AK-47. Well, he wasn't drawing a picture of an AK-47. He was drawing a picture of a VZ58. So the unfinished receivers are available? They are out there and I again, I think SOG had some as a matter of fact, but check also with COPES Distributing and CDNN Investments. COPEDistributing.com and CDNNinvestments.com. Scroll through their scrolls for receivers. I want to check ApexGunParts.com. I don't know if they got them, but they have everything, tons of parts for AKs. ApexGunGUNParts.com. Their number is also 719-481-2050. If you go there Mark, you'll see a bunch of goodies on there. Yes, and again Apex right now as I was pointing out, they have a bunch of Pepiish 43, PPS 43 parts. You might notice they've got the complete barrel shroud uncut from about the magazine well forward. So that particular part rather than guessing as to how it goes together. If you were to buy the complete parts kit for the PPS 41 from Centerfire, it's $49.95 right now. $49.99 whichever it's nickel or penny is different $50 but that has of course the cut upper receiver well if you go to different places you might notice that all the overlapping cut parts are well some of the kits were cut differently from the others and the one for the parts that Apex has right now most of their parts are cut in the reverse of the way the center fire systems kit was cut. So, there's no guessing about what goes where. Just in case. For future records, don't do anything now. But with all the parts appropriately lined up, and then again a flame wrench, in this case you're going to be using it as a metal glue gun, you could put something back together quite nicely. Just something to think about there. So again an apex gun parts www.apexgunparts.com And by the way, they do have VZ58 parts, but I don't know what all they have I haven't looked to see what they've been getting a bunch of new stuff recently might even have some receivers So and they have believed they might even have some cut lower receivers if they do Then once you have a primary then you can duplicate duplicate duplicate even if you have to weld it back together Not that we would do that right now But for future reference just an idea So again a solution there go ahead and jump in there guys. What else you got? Okay, I think I'm on my own again. No. Well, that's okay as a matter of fact We'll go very quickly to gun parts corp actually forgive me apex gun parts comm I did want to do that Let's do it this way Uh oh, well maybe I will, maybe there we go. www.apexgun.com And again at the time, oh don't tell me, well when you put that comma in there it fails and defeats the purpose and the time spent doesn't it? There we go, apexgunparts. Doing this one-handed guys. Here we go, that's in the chat room now. And I still screwed up because I didn't get the, oh my keyboard is getting tired I can tell. There we go. . Maybe the third time will pay for all and as it is for our friends in the chat room Let's see if Mark's little paws can do it right this time. I think I did there we go and shekels helped out there, too. Thank you, sir Anyway, if we go to apex gun parts calm to the front page as our you know callers pointing out who Still has some Black Friday stuff up there. I guess they decided they want to make better deals for a little bit longer. I don't know Anyway, if you look, maybe in the lower part of the scroll it's still there. It looks like it's probably back in the pages now. Ooh, I see several good things. Oh yes, they've been collecting more goodies and they found some contact points for other stuff that they did not have before. So if you're looking for parts you might want to check out and see what they have there guys. You never know individual pieces from one point to the next. Pricey to a degree, but remember in many cases it's half the weapon system. Like they've got complete SIG P228 upper slides, barrels, the whole assembly, everything but the frame and the lower part of the gun for $205. They've also got clock 23 and 40 Smith and Wesson. Slide assembly, these are NIBX refinished, $210. And that's complete, including all small parts, including sites, and everything attached. So if you were looking for spares, let's just say if you use your gun, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop Well, having an entire slide assembly and everything tuned up and ready to go, so you just take one slide and barrel off, and the old flame wrench comes out, and the whole pile of metal turns into a puddle of metal, and that way there's nothing ever to find. You don't throw it in the water. No, you just turn it into slag. Absolute molten metal slag. And the new barrel that's on there is totally different from the old barrel. That would be a very nice thing sometimes. So it might be a creative solution for those who have a Sig P228 or a Glock G23 in .40 caliber. That's your choice. Another thing, they do have the Cyber Week 2X. I guess maybe it's two grenade launcher adapters, although somebody else had these for a little less. I'll have to double check. I think it's JGSales.com. This is what I was talking about earlier, the AK Thread Grenade Launcher slash Barrel Extender, if you want to call it that. It looks like two of them for $11.99. That's $12, so $6 a piece. I think you can get them for a little better price if you go to JG Sales and go to the Surplus section at JGSales.com. But they do have them there. Now another interesting little package deal they've put out on the front of the page. Black Friday, mix and match magazine pouches, 10 for $20. Now pretty much it would be a combination of all of what you see there. Some are worth a little more than $2, actually quite a bit, some about $2. So at 10 for $20 for the mix that you see of pouches on the front page, we were talking about outfitting somebody or at least squaring troops away. There is a pretty good combination there. The flare gun pouches, you'll see there are three variations. See the VZ58 mag pouch and leather, drum pouches, HK91 slash G3 mag pouches, double mag pouches, and at least one AK variant pouch. OK? So there's a good combination there of stuff to check out. Might want to see if any of it applies to you. and then act accordingly on it. How's that sound? Solutions, not just complaining about the problems. And again, if you pick up the flare launchers, you definitely want one of the flare holsters. I highly recommend that. I've used flares as a unit commander for years for signaling, direction, and backfire. And any one of these, actually, the one in the upper left hand corner, the OD green one, I've had one of those for probably 20 years, going on 25 now. The most common though is the full flap which looks more like it's actually just a flare carrier but in reality it does have the holster built into it. I've had one of those and used them for probably just as long. It varies depending upon the combat rig. If I was carrying an AK or if I was carrying a Hakim rifle, if I was carrying the Hakim, I would use a different configuration. If I was carrying the AK, I went with the East German configuration for a lot of the gear simply because we got it for pennies, literally for pennies. It would vary depending upon the system of course. You know what I was doing, what we were doing when I was commanding op for. So as it is, let's see if there's anything else exciting. Sten kits have gotten pricey, but as a pattern, remember they're a way for you to be able to help people understand how they go together. Again, if you shop around though, you find parts here and pieces there between the different parts companies, you can actually make some pretty good deals. Now, they do have 166 Black Friday items, but here it is. What, we're into Wednesday and they're still listing Black Friday items. Maybe they're still up there for sale. I don't know. Rubber butt pads for the folding stock AKs of side folders. That's a nice little deal. That's $8. Those are not a bad price because they are actually brand new. I've seen those. A lot of guys are happy with them. Several different parts kits available. And if you're looking for Setme pistol grips, if you've got a Setme unit or HK91 unit, they've got the Setme long rest pistol grips for $10 for $10. Good price there. There's four pages and I haven't gone through all these yet. I'm just going to do a quick survey to see if there's some more I can go. Hey Mark. This is what you need. Go ahead and call or jump in there. Hey, this is Mike again. Hey, Onno's sent me long handles. You get the screw for that, theoretically, by accident. Somebody would have cut off the back of their stem bracket there for their You can take that and you can probably weld a threaded piece on or a piece of bar stock and then thread that on in the back that would make that a handy little item to go for your military reenacting tool there. That makes that Mark III a whole lot easier to deal with without that. Stocks sticking out there theoretically speaking there we go and again a solution not just not just complaining about that problem of how do I make it smaller? Well, this is it's a piece of junk. I don't like it. I can't hold it Hey get creative. Don't tell me the problem. Show me the solution to right it'll work trust me. It'll work just fine They've been around for I got duct tape. It'll be good Well, that's for the rest for your recoil pad It's sticky yeah, it doesn't slide on the shoulder shut up. It's waking fine Look, and I'll charge you twice as much for it because it works now. I know that. Hey, did you ever shoot those Anzio 20mm rifles? The Anzio...oh yeah, yeah. You mean the Anzio 100mm ones that are made? Is it the single shot? Yeah, the single shot. You've got to put them in the back of the pickup truck or you go sliding. Right. Well, they're beasts. There's a couple of people that are shooting them on YouTube that they've been showing them, actually using them. I met them down at Knob Creek and I was impressed at the rifle because I seen it down at Knob Creek this last year. I had a blast. It's a damn hoon, yeah. Well, the thing about the 20s is for the longest time there was one guy at Knob Creek and he has been always towards the middle and he's kind of specialized in being able to acquire a limited number of 20 millimeter barrels plus he has a good pile of the training projectiles, solid shot projectile, the copper ring. And that has been the basis for a lot of bolt to 20mm guns that were built custom. Using the air cannon shell which is the most common surplus brass or training brass that's out there, you extract and save the original projectile but even if you have to do the finish millwork to open up the primer channel because a lot of those again they're training rounds. The rest of the work can be done and you've got yourself a viable cartridge and the 20 millimeter is nothing to sneeze at. Go ahead. I think somebody was changing some 20s over. One of the websites, they were changing 20s over to 50 primers. Right. Well, you could do that with either a make a bronze insert or a brass insert that would scale down. It depends on what year it was made. At the end of World War II, there was a proposal to replace the Browning .50 caliber round. There is literally a .60 caliber machine gun that was in service after the end of World War II. It held over until 1955 in military service. It's a .60 caliber machine gun. Overlapping with that was the 20. So there's this foggy area from 1945 until 1955, which is a 10-year spread in which a lot of other unique cartridges and cases were available. A lot of this stuff started to crop up in the post-Vietnam period because you're looking at clearing out inventory, selling stuff to get back revenue to a degree even though the GCA 68 was already passed. and a lot of this stuff started to crop up but I have seen very little of the early 20 millimeter brass but it was it's out there and a guy had some down in Knob Creek old back maybe eight oh it's been 15 years now but it was small primer it was a different configured case from the air gun you know the air gun 20 and I assume it's from that experimental period when they were so hep on the idea they just had to replace the M2 Browning You'll notice that all those other guns are gone and what gun are we still shooting? The M2 Browning guys and these other guns came and went the 60 caliber machine gun I'm not a this is not a misspelling a lot of times you see guys say that I was running a 60 caliber machine gun in some people usually say no you mean like an m60 don't you like a hog no 60 caliber machine gun and people all your crazy wrong guys Frankfort Arsenal made the ammunition, so did Rock Island and so did St. Louis, St. Louis Arsenal, St. Louis Arsenal, Frankfort Arsenal, Rock Island and of course Lake City. Lake City did everything. And the 60 cal guns were kept in service until 1955 and that's when the big change out in ordnance and equipment, uniforms and everything took place. and the sixties were relegated to whatever. They just disappeared. Now granted government cut stuff up a lot and destroyed stuff, but there was an inventory of ammunition to go along with the guns. And the same is true with the twenties. Now there's a wide range of twenties we experimented with. Large pocket, small pocket, longer case, greater taper, an angle to the shoulder of the case. which made it look almost like a wildcat, like a big blown up. If you were looking at a picture of you, you'd think it was a 545 by 39 AK round. But it was a 20 millimeter round with a little bigger case. The idea was to experiment with how they could get that expansion chamber to put more thump behind the bullet while keeping the case smaller. Or, you know, again, reconfiguring it for extraction and speed. Those were the two factors because, of course, we started out with conventional chain guns with single barrels. And then we go to single barrel with cylinder rotation, remember the cylinder guns like you see in the Sabers? And then we go from that to the GE chain guns that everybody is so familiar with, you know, the Gatling gun is everybody thinks of it now. You know, the miniguns. And that's the progression. Well, in the process they rebuffed the cartridges, you know, redesigned the cartridges to meet the mechanical needs of the design. The basic projectile though really never changed much, which is rather interesting with the exception of some of the long dart type 20 millimeter that was made to go along with the steep shoulder case that they produced in the middle 50s for a short time. So there's a lot of stuff that if you could get hold of it, I mean there's piles of the brass that hasn't already gone to the scrap yard, but there's coal mines and tunnels full of this stuff. Every once in a while somebody opens up the vault. and the special wine comes out and the goodies flow and that's where it then somebody is going to buy or make a barrel to fit uh... and that's where the you know the barrel the barrel dudes come in uh... the twenties especially uh... remember that you just like with air defense they are is they have greater range but they have greater drop off after maximum range So there are some unique things that you can do with a 20 that was experimented with years ago for plunging fire to drop over fortifications and into positions. That's one of the neat tricks of the 20 that you can do by the nature of its ballistics. How its trajectory and arc is fairly flat. It reaches its peak elevation and then it drops down like a fish hook. That's really it's not that extreme. It's gravity sucks guys no matter how you look at it It's a matter of how much energy you have behind the projectile before gravity sucks it to the ground And that's what creates that that curve of performance that we map out with the cartridges And the 20 mark there yeah, I keep every time I hear of one or see one I have to laugh I think of John Ross in the book unintended consequences. Oh, yeah, yeah time to feed the hogs I didn't know the senator was a farmer Yeah, well he's not but don't worry you're gonna see the pigs in a minute to hold still it's gonna hurt a lot No, it isn't pop. There we go. Yeah, but in that case it was a 20 millimeter Lottie wasn't it? That's what I was using. They had saw her in a lot. Yeah, yeah the slope. Yeah, I had the two remember those were family guns Yeah, boys. Yeah, boys are 20 Go ahead. Was the boys anti-tank gun was that a 20? No, the boys was 55 Again, there are a lot of those hanging around. For $75 you could buy a boys gun in Canada until 1975-76 over the counter. Just like you would a .22 rifle. Over the counter, no paperwork. They were selling loppies for $125 complete with the chest, the snow skids, You've got seven magazines, you've got a hundred rounds of ammunition, complimentary, half of it was AP, half of it was white phosphorus trace slash incendiary. I don't know how many of those came across the border because everybody just bought them for $125 American and then walked away with them. and the 20 is the semi-auto. The boys bolt action 50, you can find some excellent videos on these guys on YouTube. There's an excellent training video for the boys rifle that was done for the US and the Canadian forces. Half the time the boys gun would be found in the front of it of a just as often as a Bren gun, a boys anti-tank rifle would be in the nose of a Bren gun carrier. And that gave it reasonable fire powers, still a single shot gun. The Marines, this is something that I noticed, like I've said, about watching movies. There have been some really good movies done. One of them is War in the Pacific, and it starts out with Guadalcanal. Well, the good thing, at least they do show them using bolt guns. But one of the things is that the Marines, when they hit Guadalcanal, had all of their own weapons. They had the Ricing submachine gun, the Johnson rifle, the Johnson squad automatic weapon which was not the BAR, it had a side magazine like the Sten gun but it was in op 6. And then they also had the boys 55 rifle which they used for sniper activity during the war, early stages during when we were winning and losing, mostly losing. They carried the boys into Guadalcanal and they used that with telling effect against the Japanese. It's never depicted. It's one of those things where they gloss over certain weapons because you don't want you to think about them or they just don't want to bother with having to make it that much more realistic. It's a combination, I think, of both. There are gun parts out of West Hurley, there are parts for the boys and for a lot of the other ones too. The boys were heavy, that's the big thing about it. It's a beast rifle to carry but as the Marines pointed out, when they got it into play at that time they were into the three man squads, three man fire teams. It was one man with a rifle, one man with a BAR, one man with a Thompson submachine gun or a In the early stages it was 1903 Marine Corps 1903 Springfield. The difference is the sighting system. Both weapons had the same basic sights with the forward of the receiver sight that had elevation and traverse. They had both. My 1903 is built like that. It's a 1942 Remington. The Marine Corps rifle had a different set of sights on it as far as arpatures built to Marine Corps standard. The Army had their sights built to their standards. They were both similar but they weren't the same and you have to know the difference between the two. They had a Marine Corps M1903, a Johnson rifle, and a Ricing submachine gun in each fireteam and then they would assign to the squad leader or again they would assign him a team and he would be using the boys as a support weapon for all three of the fire teams deployed forward in a trident. And the boys was put into a command position to be used for trying to line up either bunches of Japanese one after another, one shot, five, ten Japs, or for placement slash sniper work. And they used it more extensively for sniper work, progressively as they developed skill with it. And a 55 caliber projectile coming down range ain't a whole lot going to slow it down if it gets in the way, not palm trees. So it had no problem punching through the brush and still killing who you were trying to kill. And also used for emplacement punching too. In other words, you got something that's a little harder. At that point they didn't have the bazooka, they didn't have the 2.35 inch rocket launcher. Flamethrowers were in short supply, but the boys gun was already there, so the Marines used it very, very effectively. You know you can build your own flame drawer. You know that right Mark? Oh yeah, well as we said Russian flame throwers, you know, go to the plumbing shop. Yeah, well I had to laugh because you know they're not illegal and a 20 pound a 40 pound propane tank you get yourself a pressure washer wand and hey, you know, an air pump. Hey, I'm in business a couple pieces of pipe. Yeah, a bug burner. Well, you know, I got a brush fire. Yeah, you just brush fire off. You got brush out. The guy got rid of it. Counter burn. You ever coast a friend? Hey, it's good stuff. Yes, that was the plan. And while you're screaming, everybody else can hear you on the radio until the microphone melts. There you go. Anybody else want to try coming forward? Go ahead. Remember, do you get that? Anybody ever again guys there's nothing like that sound at night especially when you hear it if the operators mean You don't have to start a burning from the get-go what you do is stream of fluid and then about oh 1000 2000 3000 you ignite the match and the electronic match Activates the stream and it goes right down the line of flying right, you know line of flame out to you Smelling kind of weird. I just wanted to say one thing before you guys go ahead jump in there, please I haven't been listening to your show for a while now because I've been busy working in training. But I just wanted to say that since, well by the way this is Phil from Florida. And knowing that you're an East Wing fan, I thought I would dare to mention I hope no one told you this before, but I went to Home Depot the other week because my friend that was in the Marines was showing me this new breaching tool that they came out with. And on the way to there, I noticed that East Wing had a whole new section. They're all black and they're tactical Tomahawks and they have a medieval point on one side like you like and they have the on the other but it's all Amerforged East Wing. It's you and your love. It's something. See now I'm still not gonna give up my East Wing drywall hammer because I've mastered that. Only instead of... It's going to be yayayayaya because you know the old speed here who does the drywall, he knows how to use the hammer. He was teaching me good a long time ago. You know, remember that. You're stupid. He smacks you side to head for doing something wrong. And you used the drywall hammer really good in that angle thing to do the cut. It worked. You just need to see it. You'll fall in love with it. I'll tell you what, especially if it has the claw, the eagle's claw, I haven't seen what they've used for a back hook, but a good combination because we do have body armor out there now. What originally the medieval eagle's claw, you see it used, oh there's a couple scenes in Braveheart. Remember where it comes down on the guy's head and you see that, you hear it where they did a really good job like something was going through a tin can? Well, that was the Eagles claw was designed to go through armor, you know body armor and you got to remember below this steel was she was was chainmail and below the chainmail was a hard course or a horse-hide leather jerkin So it had to get through two layers of you know, really really dense material and then you know one last layer of protection Then to the soft chewy person inside This has a nice spike just for that. It is medieval looking and it's absolutely wild. It's not that heavy. Everything is balanced and everything. But lately we've been... Once a week we've been shooting. Once a week we've been going to the gym. And once a week we've been going on pump and strolls for about six miles. We're doing a combination of walking, jogging and running in order to catch our breath back. It is amazing. I saw it with loaded magazines. And no cop would ever stop us. They turn back around, they pass by twice and then just keep going. We walked by so many police because we went into a bad end. But I'm thinking maybe that they're glad that we're doing that because it's somehow keeping crime down. They're intimidated or something. Give them a thumbs up. Hey, smile and give them a, you know, just look grim and give them a thumbs up. You know, don't be, you know, just be respectful and just keep right on moving. We trained a lot. I was down there for the big meetup down around Lake Okeechobee back in the 90s. Again, a lot of units trained all over the state together. The state, of course, was being manipulated down towards Miami. You know that. Miami is always a problem. It varies depending where you are. But for the most part, a lot of the guys were in fact like, hey, cool, things happen. At least I know somebody else is going to be out there. A lot of guys here that are sheriff's deputies feel the same way. In other words, the zombies aren't going to do anything for them, but they know that if they stay on the right side, they're not going to have anything to worry about. They decide to go along with grabbing the guns or something like that. They've got something to worry about. They all pretty well have thought it through and there's been a lot of long conversations explaining to people what's going on inside the departments for that reason. So it varies. Like I said, the other part is they can't be sure with all the government and para government and military out there. You could be anybody. Why bother you? Why want to know? Think about it because that is the attitude. There are so many variations. I always thought it would be fun. Just put F-A-T on the side in white letters or yellow letters on your arm and then or F, you know, either fib or fat. In their own mind they'll switch it over to ATF or FBI. Yeah, we've been doing SWSM for Southwest Florida. I'm so sick of them asking me that. I just say that we're in SWSM. Oh hell no, we're much better than that ma'am. We're militia. We're not people taking money from you. We don't have any interest in taking any room. We're not. We'll go to the store because we're thirsty. We get a Powerade, a vitamin water and a cheeseburger. They'll just give it to us. They think that we're working for the state and it's pretty funny. It's a free handout. Like I said, the gas stations in Ferguson were all burned down for what reason? They weren't stocking the right colors. I just thought I would throw that in there and get to work again tomorrow morning. You guys have a great night and that was a good time and I would say take up those guys' time. Give us an update on how the East Wings work out. They are beautiful. I bought three of them so far, one for my dad. What does he think about it? He loves them. Oh yeah. He worked with hammers at all. East Wing has always done well. I just most of the time couldn't afford them. I had to go low end, but one of our friends got me the new drywall hammer. I have one that's so tired that the weather has been falling off and I had to restack the weather, but it happened, guys. Things get old just like people. Got to work them out. Thank you, sir. You're welcome. Guys, we're going to close together here. God bless the Republic. Captain to do world order. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. We are on the march. Thank you gentlemen and get people everybody out there get to work. You guys got the right idea focus on logistics medical support physical stamina the ability to sustain yourself in the field as a military formation Organize our equipment train as well as just remember your mind is your first best weapon. We'll see you tomorrow. Thank you guys. Bye. Bye.
