And the planes went down to mid-low altitude and the ticker's job was to roll them on those little roller dolly bars, roll them on the bottom of those aircraft, shove them right out the back of the plane. Except that the one story which became really hair-raising is that there were all these refugees and around a campfire at the refugee camp where they were going to support people and out of the blue here comes this silent block of death and the palette of MREs came down and squawked. Nobody knew they could hear something sucking through the air like a bomb. Nobody knew what it was but when it hit near the campfire of the poor peasants Three of them were crushed under the weight of that grenade. Then they realized that while there were three people dead under the pallet and outstanding there that broke cases and ran, some people would, you know, the men would run up and put them and kids away from them and grab a case of MREs and run with them. They didn't have parachutes to drop cargo. They had captured bags of 150 pound bags of Japanese rice. So what they did is they dropped out to tree top level and they kicked the bags of rice out of the plane at low speed. Now do you think that bag of rice fared very well when it hit the ground at 110 miles an hour? No. You can't fit, you know, like, it's in the accounts from the unit. Imagine 150 starving men on their hands and knees. Now they dropped dozens of bags. They dropped everything they could out of the plane and dropped it out of the unit. Wait, waiting for the rice to grow out again because it was replanted. Well, like the guys who were on the ground said, imagine 150 starving men with their hands out, one hand out, on their hands and knees, picking grains of rice out of the mud to try and get enough food to eat. That's what they were doing. So, point is that when the MRE was built, one of the specifications is that each package has to survive so much flexing. In other words, because you put it in your pocket, you walk with it. But the other was that the packaging itself had to be able to survive with a 90% probability of survival for the overall packaged cargo, had to be able to survive without drone or parachute from an aircraft. In other words, what we call a drone is a drobe. Actually, it's a drobe. It's a drag chute. You've seen them instead of a full parachute. It looks like a fishing net, like strapping. And it's designed to reduce the speed of the cargo. It doesn't stop it from... It doesn't reduce it to the point that a parachute does.
