On October 31, 2014, Mark Koernke and Joe McNeil conducted a morning broadcast focused on urgent fundraising for the Micro Effect radio network. The show opened with a monologue on American decline, then shifted to an extended on-air fundraising drive seeking $3,200 in listener contributions to keep the station operational. They offered a KU-band satellite receiver system ($225 value) as a drawing prize for donors and promoted a limited number of systems available for direct purchase at $225 each, with proceeds going to the station. The latter half featured caller discussions on gun safety, media bias in reporting celebrity gun accidents versus everyday incidents, and open carry advocacy in Idaho, with callers sharing personal firearm safety experiences and anecdotes.
What makes America the greatest country in the world? Well, our Constitution is a masterpiece. James Madison was a genius. The Declaration of Independence is for me the single greatest piece of American writing. What about the people? Why is it not the greatest country in the world? Professor, that's my answer. The NEA is a loser. Yeah, it accounts for a penny out of our paycheck. But he gets to hit you with it any time he wants. It doesn't cost money. It costs boats. It costs airtime. Column inches. You know why people don't like liberals? Because they lose. If liberals are so smart, how come they lose always? Hey! And with a straight face, you're gonna tell students that America is so Star Spangled Awesome that we're the only ones in the world who have freedom? Canada has freedom. Japan has freedom. The UK, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Australia, Belgium has freedom. 207 sovereign states in a row, like 180 of them have freedom. Alright, and yeah, you, uh, sorority girl. Just in case you accidentally wander into a voting booth one day, there's some things you should know. There is absolutely no evidence to support the statement that we're the greatest country in the world. We're seventh in literacy, 27th in math, 22nd in science, 49th in life expectancy, 178th in infant mortality, 3rd in median household income, number 4 in labor force, and number 4 in exports. We lead the world. in only three categories. Number of incarcerated citizens per capita, number of adults who believe angels are real, and defense spending, where we spend more than the next 26 countries combined. 25 of whom are allies. Now, none of this is the fault of a 20-year-old college student that you nonetheless are without a member of the worst period generation period ever, period. So when you ask what makes us the greatest country in the world, I don't know what you're talking about. Sure used to be. We stood up for what was right, but for moral reasons we passed. Laws struck down laws for moral reasons. We waged wars on poverty and up poor people. We sacrificed. We cared about our neighbors. We put our money where our mouths were and we never beat our tests. We built great big things made ungodly, technological advances explored the universe, cured diseases and we cultivated the world's greatest artists and the world's greatest economy. We reached for the stars, acted like men. We aspired to intelligence, we didn't belittle it, it didn't make us feel inferior. We didn't identify ourselves by who we voted for in the last election, and we didn't... We were able to be all these things and do all these things because we were informed by great men, men who were revered. First step in solving any problem is recognizing there is one. America is not the greatest country in the world anymore. It forms public, capable of critical thinking, which is why a continually fraudulent zeitgeist is output. the religion, the mass media, and the educational system. They keep you in an distracted, naive bubble. They are doing damn good job of it. East Micro Effect Network in the morning. We're also on Liberty 3 Radio dot 4 mg dot com. Well, man, we've got a long way to go here. I don't know if it's even doable, in all honesty. We are trying to keep the micro effect intact, of course. And we need your contributions this morning. Get in on the drawing. We're going to have a drawing here in the third hour this morning for a KU band satellite receiver system. They're simple to put together and set up. You hook it up to your TV, you know, just like a computer shows you all the programming. It's on that satellite system. and you can sit and listen to and watch television. There's no monthly fee, nothing involved. Okay, and you get everything that you need. You don't have to order anything. Everything comes in the kit. And if you'd like to get in on the drawing, it has a $5 minimum contribution. It will get you a name and a hat five times and a dollar per entry after that and no limit on how many entries you make. I don't know what I could sit here and tell you or convince you. We've had miracles happen for the micro effect before. There's no secret about that. One of the things I guess that disheartens me the most is, the one says sit and listen and don't do anything or contribute anything. It just takes an entertainment value. and we're putting all this information out there jogging minds, loose, you know, getting you to think about things for what they really are instead of what they've perceived to be. And it takes a lot of time and effort and it costs a lot of money to do this. And I've mentioned a million times, I'll mention it again, the micro effect has always been, it was born under listener support. We've had people send over the years equipment fax machines and you know, battery backup systems and office supplies all kind of things that help keep the micro effect going and you know like the last time there was a lady I don't know if I'm allowed to mention her name or what but I hope she still listens to the micro effect that actually flew out here from Illinois and made a contribution to the micro effect and when she arrived she had rented a car in Lewiston and drove down here to the studio and she brought and brought boxes of printer paper, you know reams of boxes that we are still running on today. Of course it's getting down there but sticky notes and pens and all the things that we use here in the office. What a blessing that was. It really was. So folks with all the things that we've accomplished with the micro effect Since 2007, it has all been a listener supported situation. Now the past couple of months have been absolutely terrible. I mean wickedly terrible. And we're getting dragged to do it so badly that it's incredible. It feels like You know you bought a car it is paid for and now you have to go borrow money against it or something. It's not a good deal There's so much invested here in the micro effect So if you can if you will this morning 208 935 0094 we have some 3,200 bucks to try to pull together in total 3,200 and right now How many did you say we have to? We've gotten two or three contributions here this morning Okay, we're not going to make it at that rate. We're not. And this isn't going to be like any other time in the history of the micro effect. Believe me, as I stated yesterday, what would I do with the money that we received, that we didn't, that we did get? Well, I'm going to, you know, because we'll be stuck. It's not like it's never going to have to be paid, but wherever we are right now, We don't have to pay it. And whether we continue or not is a different story, but we're just doing the best we can. I don't know how to express that any differently. Folks, 208-935-0094. I have two young ladies here in the office this morning to handle the phone lines. And they're with two contributions. And as far as we have to go, it isn't very inspiring, I guess is the best way to put it. So, once again, we have a drawing coming up at the end of the hour. Get in on the drawing or make a contribution. Go to the front of the website. If you have any problems at the front of the website, make a contribution right off the website at www.tmeradio.com. Then simply give us a call here at the studio. Or if you want to just simply go straight to PayPal without touching anything and use your credit card, your destination is joe at themicroeffect.com. And that's where we are, Mark. And again, 208-935. I was just looking at something else there. And again, 208-935-0094. Today is the day. Give us a call. Take the time. If you're on your way to work, maybe you're stuck in traffic. A lot of people are listening. And there's wet on the road, and somebody decided to have an accident with somebody else because they weren't paying attention and didn't slow down at the intersection. Gutted right into another car. Now you've got two miles of backed up traffic. and you're not going anywhere. Plug in the microeffect.com or you can call 235-94. That's 2035-4. You can also call in this morning if you'd like to, 208-935-0094. Jump in there, we'll get you right up on the line immediately and clear the line as quick as we can. So for everybody, again, it's the moment and it is Friday. Take the time and www.themicroeffect. effect dot com there are two don't use at least and you know joe i don't know if there's a third one or not but guys some people have said that their software doesn't seem to work or something comes up with a glitch well we found out that for those few people that have that problem we're gonna help you here go to the other donate piece it's interesting for whatever reason one one works with some software someone works with the other viewer system it's not the the uh... micro effect something having to do with different operating systems out there. I don't know why, but it's just the way the world works. So if you can't take the time, plug in dot com, and if it looks like that's an issue for you, then call zero eight, three five, zero, so we got this morning well at the Friday. Recommendations, I don't know, nobody's offering anything or in the way of sales or jumping off the wall with anything guys, because they don't have to. They're pretty well moving stuff, arms and ammunition and equipment. a few decent little buys on some magazines and such. Hey, the pages, figure out what's out and take advantage of it accordingly. Huh, I got a 308. No, no, you need to have greater range and more energy to knock down a target. Plus, everybody's wearing body armor, right? So you want to get through the body armor. It's off of Chewy stuff. Well, we'll do that. Shorter barrel, that defeats the purpose. I ain't buying a 308. I didn't buy it. No, that's not exactly. Anyway, a couple other things out there. Right, you're out there in this, in, uh, air 48 hours. you know, mustering up for what they know is coming. To find out more, you might want to keep the micro effect going. For the micro effect going, we'll talk about it when nobody else will. You know what I mean? Peruse the inventory of, uh, you know, broaders and take a look at what they're not talking about. Oh, by the way, there was no discussion about the, the frying thing until somebody finally, until he got caught last night. And then it's like, whoopsie! Oh, how long did it take for him? Every three days they said, they were almost, they were like, blah, blah, blah. And of course now, last night, apparently they finally spending millions of dollars for basically a battalion of strength combat war than almost two months. Are you afraid of these people? Once things kick in and equal opportunity force on the ground, do you think that they have five, six hundred people to chase every one person around that's out there? Consider this. How many secret police are in the United States? How many specialized people had to be brought in in order for this to be the way that it was? If there were ten of these incidents, do you think they have the manpower to do that? And if they do, What's happening to the crime statistics for the rest of the communities? Well, they're not important because, well, fill in the blank. So that's the math that nobody wants to do instead of the weezer thing, you know, hey, took his chances and under the conditions, things could have been done differently. Troy makes it as to how they're going to employ the resources and he did. Pay attention and know how to, you know, tweak the machine when the time comes. Couple of things, hand guns, hand cannons, I don't care what you get but pick up something guys and high point pistols are a good choice. The price, 40 caliber, 9mm and 45. There are a couple other weapons out there that are looking pretty decent and having seen them now in service, the Canik 55, Model 55, I think it's the P9 is what they would have a designation in there on that one. Yeah, TP, not PT. How about TP-9? They're about $300 apiece. They come with two mags. The factory replacement mags or spare mags are 18 rounders. They come with 17 rounders and they're 18 round 9mm mags. Putting it up into the like handheld submachine gun. You're looking at close to 20 rounds of ammunition available without reloading. You know, 18 rounds is pretty good. Now it doesn't mean I'm going to spray and pray. That means, wow, I've got the opportunity to stay focused on hitting the target and not just buzzing rounds down range. But if I needed to in a hallway, I'm going to go drop the mag and reload in. But I'm going to get any specialized mags. The mags factory are 17 and 18 rounders. So that makes for a pretty decent, you know, rear guard defense hand cannon for the price. And again, it does if you can find them, there are some out there in green, there are some out there in tan. It's like you should have been more of a kite. the rebroadcasters at Camp Emmerich, Camp Emerson, New Camp Stauffer, Camp Llewyn North, the O'Gham Aranges, Niagara-Hitcham, and Camp Fox and Wolf, and yes, they are getting wet up at Fox and Wolf. The site has a bunch of construction going on with a class fabricating fortifications and defensive cement block projects for everybody out there, don't forget that. Pretty sure I got that right, I'm ready to think it was Wolf and it'll be double that. I think so, yeah. Anyway, All the big ranges will be open at the Oghammer Ranges this morning. In fact, in another 39 minutes. The big range, 50 caliber range and heavy rifle range will be open out to 1600 yards for today. And starting at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning to sunset. The big ranges are open. The active motion targets are going to be in play. Stuff that I've built. When you see that sheet metal APC go across the target range, That's mine. I built that. What should we make? Ah, let me- So we broke out. This was in the sheet metal that Tim Smith, you know, pitched in a little bit. We did some spot welding and we made a number of these targets. After that 50, you're gonna hear a pfft. You can hear it. It still makes that tinny tongue sound. And very reminiscent for any of you who remember if you were down at Fort Benning or Fort Knox, the weapons- first, remember the APC that would run from one side of the town. Something that really, really, really would gray matter to make sh- And yes, there's two hits so that you- with sedans. So, be careful. It's what we would say that, you know, sitting here in the bottom of the state, chances are it's a little wet all over the state because this is one of those saturation cloud cover days that goes from horizon to horizon. As we can see, about halfway up the state out there in one direction. So if you are going out, Brad, because it is. Again, we are headed towards the bottom, but guys, if you can, take the time. Call in. uh... to zero eight nine three five zero zero nine four take the time and donate help us to keep the micro effect up online it's all of you are going to make it happen and everybody were to pitch and we can do it but it means a focused effort we need call friends here in the chat room get over people are in the respective chat rooms and or other to make it happen so nine three five zero nine four understand if you can't call in micro effect com Yeah, I want to point out we just had yesterday Andy offered, Andy in Montana offered a satellite system for $225. So folks, if you're out there listening, for $225 you can purchase a satellite system, the KU-VAN satellite system that's a complete system, and the $225 will go to the micro effect and you will receive a satellite system. Or you can take a chance and try to win the drawing this morning, which is an hour and a half away. Okay? Either way, contact us here at 208-935-0094. Someone just purchased another one of those systems, so that money will go to the Micro Effect and help us stay on the air. I just posted a... Mandy is in the chat room, by the way. I just posted a message there to ask him how many of these systems does he want to go because he's actually buying them himself. So again, if you would like to purchase a satellite system for $225 this morning, contact us here at the studio and give us your information. We have about two have been sold so far. I'm trying to find out from Andy how many of you are available and he'll answer me here pretty quickly. Other than that, please make a contribution to the micro effect. Today is our day. We've been blessed many times before. We've been close and I don't know that we've been any closer than we are here today. Be honest with you, but we're doing what we can and we're hoping that you can do what you can. Alright, so 208-935-0094, 208-935-0094, or go to the front of the website as Mark was explaining. There's two places you can donate. If you have trouble with one, go to the other. If you're still having trouble, call the phone number and we can take it over the phone. Okay? And, uh... This all needs to be done today. You know like I mentioned earlier, and I just find it ironic It never dawned on me. You know today seems holiday now the high holy day for Satan and you know We the opposition to Satanism and evil and all the things that are going on are on his day Struggling to stay on the air how ironic does it get? anyway folks That drawing will be in the last hour which is right now an hour and a half away. So basically in a manner of speaking I guess you could say we got about an hour and a half to make a dent in what it is we're trying to accomplish and you're the only thing you the listener is between us and whatever lies in the future. So again 208-935-00 9-4 and I do have two young ladies in here this morning I rolled them out of bed at 4.30 in the morning all sleepy eyed. Come on today is a very important day we have to do this and so they're in here helping in the background. Actually Memphis is over here on the phone right now so that's a good sign. 2-0-8 9-3-5 0-0 9 4 and mark we're down here the most of where we are head into the bomb for everybody out there guys be careful on the road it is wet here across Michigan pretty obvious when you look out the window cuz it's gray and there's probably spinners of rain on the So if you are headed out remember those leaves on the ground at the intersections if you're the first going out On the road just like snow blow down break sooner pay attention around the corners There are people who just aren't paying attention and you don't want to meet them in a very unique way grab that cup of coffee smell taste There ain't nothing waking up like having Ethiopia's Tony and Clippen's in Utah. And this is some of the last of last year's 2013 Ethiopian coffee beans. We got on sale $2 for the unchopped bank. Somebody wanted to get rid of them and we grabbed them and we're running out. The last of the cheap cheap coffee resorts to the other coffee. Oh well, we'll be back right here on the Rock. It's Friday, 2008. 935-0094, please take a time calling and donate. Any amount will help and if everybody were to do that, we'd have no problem making it, but we need all of you to pitch in, ask your friends to help. You're in the chat rooms, motivate everybody if they can, let's promote this project, get it done, and over with today, we've got to get up to a certain point, get up to a certain step, to get to the next. Simply go to www.themicroeffect.com. Click on chat room. Give yourself a secret agent code name if you do not wish to use your own name. and join the others that are listening to the Micro Effect all over the world for that matter. We have people that come into chat room from some unbelievable places. And of course we're on the internet, satellite for the time being here today. And the struggle of course is to keep the Micro Effect intact. So please make those contributions 208-935-0094. I've just got a message here from Andy. It can handle one more satellite system, meaning if you call in here and you wish to purchase a satellite, can you event a satellite system for $225? The $225 will go to the micro effect and Andy will send you a system. Okay? So we get the money, you get the system. So there's one more available. And all you want to do is, okay, thank you. If you'd like to just purchase a satellite system, give us a call here quick this morning here before it goes. One is left. Okay, you have Don just signed up with us here. Wow, Don, you got a little bit of a buzz thing going on in your car. Yeah, I know. It rained here last night. Oh, it did? Yeah. Trying to get rid of them hard lines. Yeah. All right. Yeah. Nonetheless, good morning, sir. Hey. Okay, well we got some what's going on here behind me. The girls are, here's what happens when you make a contribution to get in on the drawing. They have to run it through the printer, print out how many entries you got, and cut them all up with scissors and put them in a barrel and away we go. Did you need me? Oh, okay. All right. It almost looks like we're in an airplane. I know, I'm sorry. Anyway folks, again, we've got about an hour and a half, or a little less actually, to make a serious dent in what we have going on here. Okay? So those contributions would be very helpful. Keep the micro effect on the air, keep this pumping, and if we can manage to do that, you'll witness the changes that are in line for the micro effect. Some additions, some alterations, and just some changes. Things we've been wanting to do, but you know, When you try to put out this fire, you can't mess with the other fire because this one is bigger than that one. That's the way it goes. You can't let them join together. 208-935-0094 and then somebody just calls in there so the line is tied up right now. If you call in and the line is busy, please, please, please, please call back. Okay, it's not busy full time. Why would hope that it is? I hope that it stays that way but just keep dialing. Don't give up on us. We're taking in as fast as we can and we're kind of limited right now with one line. So, having said that, like I said, we've got an hour, I don't know, hour and 20 minutes to go before we have the drawing. Get in on the drawing. Well, I mean really, $5, you know, $25, what have you, to win a $225 satellite system. And, you know, for those of you who are relying on internet to listen to the micro effect, You can if you put in a put up the satellite system, you don't need the internet anymore man You're running off the satellite and you can hear it's even better quality on the satellite for that matter That's it. Okay, so 208 935 0094 and again the line is busy right now, but keep trying don't give up on us and we're not giving up on you and What do you got for us this morning done? Well, I want to go back to who shot a finger. Oh, that guy. I can't remember. Conseglio, I think is his name. You guys. I don't even care. I know. I just wanted to run over some freaks. You know, when you clean your gun, long gun, it would be good. I just thought I'd do that, Joe, because it's one of those things that the mainstream would happen all the time. I got a kick out of that. I couldn't help but bring that back to the hour because, you know, people are shooting themselves on the mainstream. when it happens to someone who is a celebrity, it has to bring it to the front. When it happens to Joe Schmidt, I'm surprised. They don't care if Donna Mark shot their finger off. Hey, I've got to clarify something here real quickly in the chat room. Asking me to repeat, what it is that we're selling. What it is, Liberty Chick, if you're listening there, what it is is a KU-band satellite receiver system. So you can listen to the micro effect on satellite instead of on the internet. And you don't need internet for satellite. What it is, you plug it into your television. It has programming in there that looks very similar to computer programming. You pick your channels out and you can watch TV. Generally what I would do is watch TV Russian television, Turkey, all over the world and it's free to air. There's no monthly fees, there's nothing. If you can hook up a DVD player, a CD player and all that, this would be the equivalent of it. The dishes are like the small three foot dish network type dishes. They're not the big Montana sunflowers and you get everything in the package that you need. Okay, so if you're interested in that, like I said, there is one more that can go for 225. The 225 will go to the micro effect and you will receive a satellite system. Now Andy is saying that after this one we'd have to cut the percentage down on how we split the money so there is a couple more available or would be but this is the last one that 225 will go directly to the micro effect. I hope you're following what I'm saying. Or you can get in on the drawing that's going to be held the last part of the third hour by making a contribution, a minimum $5 contribution. Get your name in the half five times or you can do a dollar per entry after that. No limit on how many entries you make. If you want to make 25 million entries You're more than welcome You're more than welcome to see Matter of fact, for 25 million entries I believe I walked that stat light system right to your door Yeah, yeah No kidding We didn't stall it for you Yeah, no kidding Yeah, we didn't stall it We didn't even sit there and help you watch it Because we wouldn't have to be doing anything else I'd imagine Anyway folks, 208 935 Line is open right now. 208-935-0094 is the number. And I didn't mean to interrupt you there, but we got that question. I wanted to get that answer out there real quick, Don, for people inquiring in the chat room. And by the way, if you're out there listening, join us in the chat room at www.themicrofact.com or www. You know what, what the hell would WWW mean to somebody, you know, 100 years ago? Hey buddy, www.microfact.com. What's he, what's he, we need to put him in jail. What's he talking about? He's babbling. Yeah. Anyway, join us in the chat room or, or, or call him. You know, I'd say we'd love to take phone calls this morning, but you know, folks bear with us here. We're trying to raise funds and we actually only have one line open. So, and that phone is ringing right now. Great. Again, 208-935-0094. Let's get back to the guy that, I don't know, shot his finger off. You know, you're pointing, what you're pointing out here, Don, you know, how many gun accidents do you think happened across America as a whole in a week's time or a day's time? Well, I have to believe that. If it happened every day, they would bring it to us. They would kill us every day. What do you think is, uh, occurs more frequently. Car accidents that kill or main people or gun accidents. All car accidents know how much and know the numbers are declining. Right. So why is it they continue to focus on... One things you know, why don't they start putting you know traffic reports on you? Well, this person died in a head-on collision over here in Montana this one over here in Oklahoma There's another one that drove off a cliff in your Arizona and you know and just go on all day long I'm sure that program would never be able to take a break because it just keep coming in Martha back into Betty Lou's pickup down at the grocery store, you know It would never end crushed Make you feel crap But again, it only proves that there's an agenda. Well, of course. Well, it goes back to what we already know. They tell you what they want you to know. They lead you to believe what they want you to believe. It's equivalent of saying, oh, out of 300 plus million people, 1.5 million shot their fingers off yesterday. That's what they make it sound like. Yeah. So we need to get rid of these guns. Because 1.5 billion people will no longer be able to express their self in a violent way. Because they don't have the finger. They have to be able to count to ten. Yeah, there goes their math. They can only go to nine. They're totally lost. So they'll have to join the number nine club. Never have a correct balance in your checkbook again. on nine instead of ten. Right. But again, you guys, when they bring up someone, this is like Mark, Mark talks about Jaja Gabor's, you know, had it been you or me, it wouldn't, it never meant, meant the third page. Consection. Right. Say that, oh, something nice. What they're looking for is that affiliation connection because me and I watched him hit a home run or catch that ball. He's like, and oh no, he shot his finger off. He doesn't really. You know when I was about 13 a friend of mine a guy's name was Ed Dobiak I've never forgot Ed because he shot me in the foot. He got a new 22 and we were standing in his bedroom and he was saying yeah you know you work in the action there would also... And thank God he only had some little bird shots, something in there because the shoes that I had on stopped it from going through my foot. But he did. If it had been a 22 hollow point or something, I guarantee it would have went right through my shoe. But, wow. Man. But, you know, again, going back to your point here, I wasn't on the news. I never told anybody anyway, but, you know, Everything is cool. Okay, my foot, okay, we're good man. Don't worry about it Ed. Just a little damage to the letter there. Just remember, I owe you one. When you're not looking... Hey, this fits right in with, there's a booking right at it. The bias, again, by John Locke. Figures right in with the comment because, you know, how many people, let's escalate that simply to climb, how many people, every day, every day with the use of income. They don't bring that. Not even a single statistic. Not even a mention. You know I attended a meeting the other night, I talked about that, they were talking about the meth problem in the state and things that are going on all across the country. And the Idaho County Sheriff is there with the under sheriff. You know these are two guys you know they have all you have to do is tell them you'd like you know some gun training or what have you and You know they have a once a month you people can go there and go for a little bit of training target practice What have you and they encourage I can't begin to tell you How many young men when I say young I'm talking you know teens to mid maybe even make 20 that are now open carrying full-time You see them in town, you see them in the grocery store and stuff and amazing, isn't this amazing? There hasn't been a single incident in any way. Nobody shot their finger off, no one shot themselves in the foot. Well, nobody shot themselves in the foot, no missing fingers or misfires at the grocery store or any of those things. Matter of fact, my son was standing in line at the grocery store and the gentleman There was an older gentleman, probably maybe even a little older than myself. I was standing there with, you know, he had a pistol hanging on his head. And he turned around and he said to my son, he said, good for you, young man. It's about time. You know, so there wasn't, oh my God, there's two people in the grocery store with pistols. Everybody run. Well, that's where marriage is to that. Oh, exactly. The bot line jumps in my mind if that was and people would be reaching for theirself, would be deployed, would be burning up jet fuel and things. We have C31s dropping out of parachutes, all for this little kid standing under the horn with a plastic gun. It's insane. Folks, we are desperately trying to keep the micro effect intact, if you will. I'll give you the line right now. The line is taken right now, but please keep calling. Somebody mentioned in the chat room here, I called, the line is busy. Keep calling. We have a lot to get done here in the next hour and 10 minutes. It's incredible. But 208-935-0094. Once again, 208-935-0094. You know, I will bring this up here, Don, right here locally. Well, let's way back in 96, 97. There was two boys, teenage boys, they were brothers, that were inspecting a 22 that went off and shouted, brother in the Botox. And I just happened to pull in two seconds after it happened. And I walked in and one of them said, I just shot my brother. And I said, what? Yeah, I went in and called 911, got an ambulance out here and stuff. And those, they're still brothers today. That's great. There was a little bit of complications there, a little bit. But, you know, there is such a thing as gun safety. And of course you want to practice gun safety. And the most, the best thing that you can tell your family member are anybody. I don't care who it is. any gun that you have in your hand, I don't care what model it is, how long it is, big, small, short, tall, they're always loaded. Every one of them. And if you treat every gun that you ever held in your hand as being loaded, one in the pipe, then you shouldn't have any problems. It's the ones that think, oh, there's nothing in it, look at this, click, that's where the problems begin. So treat every weapon that you ever have in your hand, every one of them, as if it is loaded and ready to go. As safe as I am, I've got a Toker off, 76225. And I got it in a gun case, and I have it laying on the desk over here. Weapons Wednesday, when you were talking, Don, you didn't know this, but I unzipped my carrier, opened it up, and I didn't realize that the hammer was cocked on my 762. And I said, what the hell? So, of course, I released the hammer and... safely put it back in the case and I'm glad that I opened it up. Things do happen, but it's not the end of the world. You allow it to jump up off the shelf. I've never seen one do that. Neither have I. I don't know who, one of my kids, or somebody, they hung a sign on the wall here in the office. It says if guns cause crime, mine must be defective. So, there you go folks. Hey young man. I'm curious, we don't have Mark? I'm here. No, I'm here. Okay, because you guys, I gotta go at 10 o'clock. It's a goofy schedule Friday, I'm sorry. At 10 o'clock? Yeah, the top of the hour. Top of the hour? I tried to get in as soon as I could, but... We will miss you, Don. Well, I'm glad, because, you know, it would have been an accidental discharge, right? Yeah, exactly. Right. Well, you have any words on wisdom here? I couldn't really say, though, except enough for that one. Do you have any words of wisdom to share with us here before you depart, my friend? Well, you know, we go back over to that safety, and we go back over to that, what do you represent, and how do you wish to be interpreted in the world? Again, a home seglio here shoots his finger off. Everybody can look and say, everybody on the other side, guns are dangerous, they shoot your fingers off. Every time we give them the littlest bit of ammunition, they roll the biggest thing out of it, they can, don't they? If you think that's bad, hold your hand out in front of a car doing 70 miles an hour and see what happens. Oh yeah, your hand will come off. Hey, real quick, let's do it quickly. We got Bill in Texas here. Good morning, Bill. Good morning, guys. Hope you're all doing well. We're still here. Well, I got a couple of quick will little things, but first off, you could put me down for $100, but I won't be able to give it to you until Monday. Um, just two funny things that happened. I was working at a hospital. We had one of those orange hill because the building was concrete. And I mean the thing is bright, a handgun sort of, but it's awful fat. You know, we've been working there for almost a month. Some around the corner and there's SWAT with an M16 pointing at us. Some nurse saw that thing and thought it was a gun. And it doesn't even look like a gun. You know what I mean, if you actually look at it. Well, we got cell phones that look like guns and TV remotes. Don't forget wallets. Don't reach for your wallet while you're standing in your doorway if you live in New York City. Even though if he's demanding to see some ID, do not give him your wallet. Well, like this one professor, I wish I could remember his name, he studies guns and people protecting themselves with guns and he has a website and puts out all statistics. And one of the things he points out when they talk about this many people died from guns, all the people killed by the police. They don't break it down. Oh, I'm surprised they didn't throw in all the casualties from World War two and one And just a funny story that happened my dad gave me a 45 revolver He was getting older and give it to me and said look I filed that trigger, you know kind of be careful with it, you know, I'm back in Florida So I'm just pulling it out of the holster. I'm not even touching the trigger guard. I'm hold about an inch from my foot Oh man, oh I he had made the trigger. Yeah, that's pretty testy. But I quickly unloaded it and bought a new trigger. But there you go. Makes sense to me. That's all I had. I don't want to tie up the line. That's a breeze on that trigger. Yeah. Literally. Don't even look at it. Pretty close. Well, thank you for your contribution, Bill. And always appreciate your phone call. Okay, bye. Thank you. Alright, man. We are up here at the top of the hour. We have one hour to go, folks. We are We are pounding away here. 208-935-0094. The line is open right now. 208-935-0094. Outright purchase a K-VAN satellite receiver system or put an entry into the drawing we're going to have at the top of this next hour. Make a contribution. Go to the website. Call us on the phone. Do whatever it is you can do. We're trying to keep the micro effect intact here. Okay? Have us do that. I'm sorry? Aw man, that's a French word. Forgive me. Yeah, you lost me there. I dare you to speak for you, infante. All I know is we, we. Whatever that means. Alright, Mark Dunn, give us a sign out here, man. We are in the top. Time to take off. God bless the republic. Yes, sir. Help reveal, ladies and gentlemen, the empire is on the run. But we are on the mark. And night. Don, your number for night vision. Give it out a couple more times and close us for the cellar, please. Hey, if you want two, three, one. If you want to talk about career thermal, my number is 3158. Thank you, Joe. Folks, give Don a call if you cannot see in the dark. Mark and myself will be back right after the top of the hour. Stay tuned. You're listening to the Micro Effect Radio Broadcast Network. Hey, I'm actually looking at some snow here, you guys. Be quiet, man. It's happening. Shut it up. I'm sorry. I'll talk to you soon. Alright. Thank you, Don. Thank you, Joe. Thank you, Mark. We'll be right back.
