Mark Koernke discussed preparedness equipment and supplies available through various vendors. He covered alternative internet technologies and local network infrastructure, then spent the majority of the episode reviewing tactical gear including helmets (steel pots, Kevlar, skateboard helmets), body armor plates, and AR-15 barrels available through ApexGunParts.com, Sarco, and Gun Parts Corp. He provided detailed information on smoke emitters and flares from UN Ammo and Grainger, discussing their reliability and applications. The episode concluded with an extensive discussion of gas masks, filters, and chemical suits, noting wholesale supply constraints and current retail availability through Sportsman's Guide and Maine Military, with particular focus on M10 and M17 mask compatibility and filter options.

A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said, we fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children will be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? Oh, sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torture freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he'd vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true. We are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each god given right, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Is this still the land of the free? This is the second hour of the afternoon intelligence report on our kirnky. one day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters both on and behind the lines in occupied territories west, southwest, east and north. Well ladies and gentlemen you are listening to us on... and golden spike technologies east and west of the Mississippi along with Alaska. We're in the Hallmark network from the top of Maine to the bottom of Florida. From the bottom of Florida across the arc of the Gulf of Mexico, headed to Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Oklahoma, big chunk of Nebraska, a whole bunch of Wyoming to include both the third, the fifth, and our friends in the recall state of Colorado, waving to the left coast where we have the great state of Jefferson. We turn back to the east, sweep across the plains, leap over the burgeoning banks of the Mississippi land of the Smoky Slash, the Blue Ridge where the restaurant crews, Grandma teams, O.K. teams, and Ma Bell, Grandma and Terskine bring us the Golden Spike as we know. Again, the... Hallmark, the Golden Spike, and UltraNet Technologies. They are the alternative technologies and our people are doing a great job of continuing to expand in other areas. But for that to happen, you all have to get motivated individually. Little case in point there. servers older servers are popping up all over the place guys they don't have to be the latest and remember that even their upgrades typically are over there already quote-unquote old well they're not that old but uh... you can actually find an access pretty decent hob and operate extensively with that hob free standing from all the rest of the internet Remember, you're trying to get the message out and you're still trying to be able to communicate when the rest of the system goes down. You have to be able to be powered on its own, freestanding solar and other technologies for power, battery systems of whatever kind, and free wire as in separate from the conventional telephone and cable systems. There's a lot of cabling out there. There's a lot of wire out there. It's not hard to set up your own local hub in a small dot on the map area. Other people are using direct microwave and other wireless technology, but it's not standard wireless, and that's intentional. Plus, they're using YAGI antenna signal communication so that they can focus the signal from one area to the next, where one hub then connects with another, which connects with another. Just that's how it works. Well, today is Thursday. It is the 30th of October. It is the sixth year of open Fabian Socialist and Soviet Socialist occupation of America with a K2014 Old Earth Calendar or Mayan Crazy Town or Nostradamus Doom Calendar. Yeah, they've been they really have been a hacky with the most down the stuff guys They're using this stuff from from the 80s of course that is ancient for a lot of people by itself We back in the 80s they talked about how in 89 Nostradamus prediction will bring us the guy with the blue beret You know Saddam Hussein the untie cross. Oh, you don't remember that ABC They also did a whole bunch of other stuff that was about how the mystical men from government were going to take away all the children and these soothsayers were looking into the water and the smoke and they were reading these messages they were getting about the disaster that government was going to make. Oh, oh, that government was going to help us with. Yes, yes, and all of that tied into Nostradamus. Oh, you don't think we hadn't seen this all before. But you know what? They're really getting so cheap and chintzy enough that they're not even making new. They're just rehashing for about the third time the same footage and the same imagery and like, oh, he predicted us. It's like, well, wait a minute. You told us that this whole prediction had to do with the 1990 Desert Dust Part 1, the Adventure Begins thing. and why are you hacking some of the same images right back in only it's 2014 see we told you so we told you that no you showed us this back in 8990 or you're not supposed to remember that yes it was like popcorn productions anyway don't tell anybody yeah you get my drift anyway other things going on real quick I will remind everybody again UN ammo dot com www dot UN ammo dot com www.unmo.com take the time plug-in and for those you think about going down to the border well I'll tell you what flares illumination flare parachute flares and smoke would be a very good idea they're awfully handy because again the reliable technology emergency lifeboat equipment the idea behind this guys is that it's equipment that will work first time every time oh it's outdated Now what do they mean by outdated? Well, safety equipment has a date for reissue. In other words, where it has to be replaced. And that's what happens. Every two years, no matter what, all of this equipment that was packed for salt water use, remember it's inside a package, inside a package, inside a lifeboat or inside a lifeboat pod. You know, those things that look like 55 gallon drums and it hits and the whole thing. It pops out and it's an octagon shaped light boat. Well, all the supplies that are packed on board that, those have to be recycled. The light boats, the standard boats, or the emergency escape pod boats, all have to have everything replaced. And it's by law. So they can't open up and go, this doesn't work. Now most of the stuff that they have at UNAMMO are the, well they right now have the yellow flares, That's 50 of the super bright marine rescue flares for $90 shipped anywhere in the 48 states. The second are the 1 minute super bright marine rescue flares, the Ikaros 50 flares again for $90. They have again a complete right up there. The first ones are actually done. Let's see the first ones are done by Pains Wessex. I'm pretty sure let me make sure I get that one. Yes, Pains Wessex and These are the mark 8 flares the second flare patch though are made by Ikaros in Sweden and they are a subsidiary of Lapua now you'd all recognize Lapua if you understand shooting circles for a powder ammunition and for weapons Okay Well, they're the ones who made these players. So you're looking at a pretty reliable package. Again, very simple, straightforward. I'd recommend each person carrying at least three of the players, three of the parachute players, and three of the smokes. Now, call and talk to Cali. You have to call UN AMMO. They're not advertising the players and they're not advertising the smoke. These are very reliable, they do have a quantity of them, and what they're concerned with is they don't want somebody goofing around and taking out the top of the roof or the house or their face. So it really is kind of funny because they offer the 26.5 millimeter parachute and star cluster flares. And those are on the page too, if you're looking for those. They have those in stock. 26.5 check parachute flares. They also have the 26.5mm signal flares in red, green, red rain and blue smoke. Then they have the new 10 1-star wood smoke, multi-star wood smoke and I believe these are the rocket type. So the recoil is very different with those by the way. The prices are there on the page, you're not worried about that. However, if you are going to call them. Again, get ahold of them at... well, it's real simple, they have a phone number and if I can get to it, there we go. 602-418-0590 and ask for Cali, K-A-L-L-Y. If you're interested in the parachute flares, you'll find he'll give you a quote on the price, the more you buy, the cheaper they are. And yes, they do have a come 52 a case. He does not list them or hasn't been listing them because he's been selling so many of them at the machine gun shoots and gun show events. So that's one of the reasons they basically said, hey, you know, he's going through so many of them. Now, this is a solution for all of you out there that are looking for parachute flares. And now it's smoke. I would remind you again that there are two of the best smoke systems you can get are number one, the handheld smoke projectors that they use for the safety equipment like we're talking about here. Those are very reasonably priced, very reliable. and I've not seen any of those do strange or exotic things. The other option which we need to reinforce with everybody out there are heating and cooling test smoke grenades. Now these are built so that a guy who puts a heating and cooling system together can run the smoke while the H&V unit is running and you can monitor to ensure that flow is correct but also to see if you have any leaks in the system. That's what it's for. Now because of this, the smoke has to be non-toxic. The cool thing is, is that one of these smoke grenades, the model that's about the size of an orange juice can, puts out as much smoke as a standard military smoke grenade. One that's the size of a Pepsi can or a pop can puts out about twice to three times as much smoke as its standard smoke grenade of comparable size. The smudge pots will cover an area the size of a football field or bigger and virtually impenetrable. I mean, it is, you aren't going to see through that fog cloud. So there are a number of different options, there are different sizes. You can access these. We've got a guy that you know that's in heating and ventilation. Ask them about the smoke grenades. See what he can access, find out what kind of prices we're looking at, but they actually are a much better price, typically, than the military smoke and they're just as reliable. So something to think about there. Again, they're both the striker pull type. and there are fuse lightables. You can go either way, whichever direction you want to go. Remember the fuse lightable type, you've got to have something there that Mr. Zippo has to do the job for it. Whereas the pull cord type or the friction ball type are based on the German grenade technology as far as how they activate the light, but they work very, very well. and they are reasonably priced but put out a vast volume of dense yet non-toxic smoke. Kind of a cool combination I think. Those are through other sources but again check with unamo.com. You can give them a call at their station, talk to Callie. Now the flares are already listed, the standard ground handheld signaling flares. are already listed. They're on the page. Scroll down to the ordinance, you know, flares and ordinance or pyrotechnics and ordinance and you'll find them there. Down around where the bowling ball cannons are guys. 602-418-0590 and that's the number to call for UNAMO.com. Yes, they do have a bunch of other ammo that came in. I understand they've got some more .50 cal right now. In fact, I noticed they did post Some new linked 50 caliber that just got in 5 tracer, 4 ball, standard combo. They have a number of other specialized 50 caliber rounds coming in shortly that should be there. Also, 223 in the links in the stripper clips, forgive me, and with the guides. Not necessarily in bandoliers, so you're either going to have to make some or buy some. Okay, now, next on the list of things to do. That's for UN ammo, and that's the flares. Helmets. Another interesting thing, helmets have virtually been scarfed up or helmets are not coming into the country, at least not in the quantities they were. This is like gas masks. There's no sense in selling them over here when they're going to be using them over there. So, right now the most affordable or reasonably priced helmets that are out there, there are three that I have noted. Number one, the Polish or... There's a rule of thumb that the customer always comes first. Cool. the That's okay and be and BC will be live right? Oh wait there. We go now people can hear me and Wait there. We go now you can I couldn't hear there. Yeah, BC will be live. I was just meeting everything up so I get his Program lined up. That's the audio you heard I was just making sure I had all his music queued up Very good. Sorry about that. Good enough. He's back up with us where he should be That will be your Liberty Bible R right after us here at the end of this hour guys. That's 40 minutes away. So don't touch that dial. Now, with regard to the helmets, the Czech helmets or the old, it's a Russian pattern helmet guys, there are a number of different covers that will work with it. Everybody goes, well is it worth it to have a steel helmet? A helmet will help because most of what your helmet is doing is protecting you from hard objects. The military steel helmets, the Euro types, especially Eastern Euro, are simply a forged single-struck, kaching helmet, and they're done. The other pattern is the Mark IV, what they call the Tortoise British helmets. A quantity of those just came in, and those are actually a pretty good coverage, a pretty good covering helmet for a pretty reasonable price. They're not like $30, $40 as a collector's item. These were brought in, apparently, a surplus from a third country. They are in good condition, they are a good design. However, as far as camo covers or whatever go, the tortoise shell pattern you're probably going to end up using the clip to the lip of the helmet type camo nets. The East German, the Czech or the Russian pattern work best. There are also some French ones out there. And by the way, I believe, I don't know if you sold out of them or not, Frank, at Maine Military, has the French leaf pattern helmet covers, which are a net type with the rubber camo net leafing on them. They're a good cover. They are brown on one side, green on the other. Remember, since they have that leaf cut, the green shows up or the brown shows up accordingly, depending on which way you flip them. The neat thing is those will work with most of the steel helmets no matter what they are and make them virtually nondescript. In other words, it breaks up the pattern quite well. The number four helmets, that would probably be one of your choices in terms of a helmet cover because quick to add on, it will adjust to the size and then snug up with a tightening rope that you actually have that's part of the cover. The others are the myriad of Kevlar helmets coming in from Europe, but those are already slowing down to a trickle on the wholesale end because, again guys, a lot of people like to protect their beaners and wouldn't mind a decent helmet that's going to maybe slow down some bullets here and there. So what we have in country is probably what we're going to see and that will be about it for a while. Maybe some of the German stuff will still be coming in. I have not seen any Austrian, although the Austrian helmets that were coming in are the M1 type, the World War II type Korean War to Vietnam helmet. Those are good helmets. If I could get them, I would buy them if they were a reasonable price. But unfortunately if they are starting to think that their collectors items or you know the stupid price range starts to kick in nah I'm not going out on my way to pick those up Because they start jumping up towards the cost of the Kevlar helmet So the balance is where else can we go? Skateboard helmets the there are some pretty good brain buckets out there Not the ones with all the waffle holes because you want to try and keep your head somewhat dry But the ones that are the typical skateboarder pattern that have, they look like a paratrooper brain bucket. They look like a typical paratrooper rig from the 60s and 70s, the GSG helmet. Anyway, you can find them at yard sales for free or a 50 cents or a couple of dollars. I buy or pick up every one of them I can find. I have bins of them. Literally, I have boxes of them I have collected. Peel off all the old decals, then cover them with an OD green or a base color or whatever pattern you want. And they all look the same and they look uniform, they look pretty cool, and they offer good protection to keep your head from bouncing on those lips of those APC hatches when you try to leave and you weren't quite paying attention because you're tired or you're in a hurry and you kind of bounce your head off something you didn't want to. Yeah, it kind of hurts. Also, that tree limb or that branch in the middle of the night because you didn't quite see it. And by the way, when you've got night vision, remember that then you're going into a tunnel vision effect that's even greater than your regular night vision issues. So, again, a helmet is kind of handy. I don't care whether or not I'm going to screw something into a $2 helmet, I'm not going to cry about it at all. I'm not going to spend $50, $60 or $100 on a plastic helmet that looks really cool because the military uses it. One I can pretty well adapt anything else that's out there. On the other hand, I would point out again, the steel pots are cheap. Between $8 and $11 will get you one of the Polish ones. There are some neat tricks to include putting soft Kevlar panels front and rear. Have the girls sew up a helmet cover for the helmet. And what you do is put a pocket in it just like you would for a chicken plate. And then the chicken plate panel covers the forehead and rolls over the back of the, to the middle back of the helmet. That's where you slide the soft chicken place and get them for $5 apiece at where? Oh, that's right, ApexGunParts.com. That gives you additional forward armor, which typically, again, that's what you're worried about, getting mucked in a beener while you're looking towards somebody who's trying to shoot at you while you're trying to shoot at them, right? So this is another option, another way to beef up something and square the piece of equipment away. Now a little cheater piece on that, there's a lot of woodland camo and a whole lot of three-colored desert helmet covers for little or nothing out there. They would really lend themselves towards being modified because they're so cheap you can either take two and you'll have the extra material you need to make that pocket. Then you would adapt the connectors so that it will work with that check helmet or that Polish helmet. And you've got a little additional armor in place. In general, the one thing about the soft armor, it actually helps to keep that thud or thunk a little more subdued when you do hit something in the middle of the night and you go, oh man, what was that? Well, if you've got a helmet on, it's just a little bit of a nuisance. If you don't have a helmet on, it might get a little wet up there on the forehead end because, well, that slice you just took out of your scalp, probably it's a bleeder. You know what I mean? So rather than warm, sticky stuff you're not sure of at night until you, you know, you have a, you look, oh my god, I'm bleeding! Well, let's prevent that, okay? So again, helmets, yes. What the solution will be is purely a matter of budget. And the more you can get for less, the more people we can get outfitted when the time comes. Again, I mentioned body armor, and I want to touch on this real quick. ApexGunParts.com. ApexGunParts.com. A lot of you have bought body armor. You may have that space for that chicken plate, but you couldn't afford to spend the money on it. Apex has the chicken plates for $5 a piece. Now you still got some shipping to go on that guys. www.apexgunparts.com However, again with a little bit of improvising and if you're looking for cheap, cheap, cheap, this is a solution. Go to apexgunparts.com I haven't checked on them today. I was going to call them and didn't get a chance to. Apex Gun Parts. Then you go to their tactical gear. There are several hundred items listed in their tactical gear. Let's see if I mark and find it fast enough. Probably. There we go. Tactical gear. There are 246 items listed. Then when we get to tactical gear, now we're going to go to page, I believe. Let's try page 3, I believe. Now I could be wrong and it might be on page 2, so we're going to find out real quick. Nope, I was right. Page 3. However, man you guys must have been listening to me. It looks like the chicken plates may be gone for $5. I told you so. Guys, that was the best price in the country. If they haven't eat call, you never know, they may still have some but they've taken them off the advertising. Always ask. And again, that's ApexGunParts.com. But that was the best price. If they're gone, they're gone. Those were Fed government surplus. Virtually everyone I've seen look new. A lot of the people here locally bought them and are very happy with them. They still have the undercover vests and by the way they do have women's vests. Kevlar, ballistic front panel female, used $25. Now it says well used but I'm going to tell you something. I have seen everyone that our people bought and not one of them looks used. They didn't even look well used. I'm serious. They didn't look used at all. To be quite honest, they were very clean. One had a little wear in the front where the collar is because of the way the guy was obviously pulling the Kevlar Velcro back every once in a while. You can usually tell how somebody's handling their gear. They also have the Kevlar ballistic panels. One set. $32.75. So again, that is at ApexGunParts.com. Then go to tactical gear go to page three and halfway down What they have left is still a pretty good price, but for all the girls out there They have those nice bumpy pieces of lady armor, which are well. We like the girls that way It's thank goodness. Otherwise again. You might be a guy looking for a guy there. We're let there's guy armor down below Anyway, there's a girl armor $25. There's a guy armor or for anybody else who wants to wear it $32.75 for the price is right guys. Take the time, check them out and call them. Talk to them. Don't just assume, call them and talk to them. Their number is 719-481-2050. 719-481-2050. I've been checking on airsoft rifles for another source for training aids. I will have somebody getting back with me. They are sending us a packet here that should be showing up at the PO box. We may have a source for PTR 91 slash HK 91G3 airsoft rifles. As soon as I know that, for you guys who got the PTR 91s, those things have been hard to find, but apparently somebody had a little clutch of them. and or has been building them back up some people you know selling used ones and the price is very reasonable and these are all metal PTR well forgive me HK 91 G3 Airsoft even holding the weapon and somebody in front of you you can't tell the difference between this rifle and the original weapon guys they're few and far between apparently HK get into a pissy match about them being built But they're out there and they've been out there for a while. There aren't any more, by what I understand. I've noticed that, again, that's one of those that while the MP5 is out there to a limited degree, there's a number of airsoft guns that are all metal. The HK91s seem to be a problem, so whatever is out is out and that's it. But that is a significant training aid for all of you guys that have the HK91s slash the PTR91 rifles. .308 costs with .308 costs, so rather than pulling the trigger and squandering that ball ammo, Airsoft gets you up to speed to where you're able to perform with the weapon. Then when you get to the range, you're that much more proficient, ready to do right with the weapon that you have and the ammunition you're going to use for training. And again, we need to be as efficient, we need to be as proficient as possible. A couple other things. Let's see, what was it? It's interesting since Centerfire has been doing their group lots of goodies and parts. A couple other companies including Apex is doing the same thing. They have a four-pack of the HK33 Polymer Trigger Grip housings, which I think is rather interesting. The 93 is the, or the 33 is the .223 rifle. They've got four of them for $20. But that is the significant single point, you know, control point on the weapon. In addition, they've got 10 of the Setme grips for your Setme rifles, HK91 Setme rifle, for $10. Now, it's not as great as the ones that we saw at Centerfire, but those are HK91 slash Setme pistol grips. So if you're looking for spares for your Setme rifle inventory, you haven't seen any of those in build kits for quite some time, guys. But if you do have the setmes and you got a lot of them, I'll start collecting the parts and putting them on the shelf. The other thing that they have had for quite some time and for you Sega operators, five Sega Polymer buttstocks. They're the C, Standard Stock, the commercial Standard Stock. Five for $10. And again, repeat, that's the Sega AK Russian Polymer Stock Sale. 5 butt stocks for $10. Kind of nice to have those hanging around for spares especially if you've got a pile of sagas. For $2 a piece when the time comes if you needed a stock that's money well spent. Let's put it that way. And should be part of your AK spares inventory. If you're an AK armorer I'm not excited nor worried about putting a pistol grip on an AK Sega if it's already got a c-stock kind of like I told you Don't spend money changing it spend money buying more mags spend money buying more ammo the rifle already works Don't spend goofy money going in another direction take the time And again, just focus on mags more mags more ammo more ammo more mags or is better That's what you should be thinking about one other thing It looks like you guys listened to what I said, but still they do have 20 inch AR-15 barrels. I want to bring this up again. They've sold out of the standard A2, but they do have the 20 inch AR-15 H-bars in the white, .223, .556, brand new, $100 a piece. Oh, I'm sorry, $99.99. Well, that basically is $100. Right? Yeah, I think that's $100. What do you think? So, with that being the case there again, they've already sold out of the standard A2 barrels. They had a pile of those. I think everybody opted for those first because they're only $49 a piece. If I'm going to use an AR-15, I want the longest barrel I can put on it first. If I'm stuck having to go to a 16.5, I will. But as I pointed out, wherever we can find the 20 inch barrels, the sooner people can build those up, the better off we'll be. I don't want shorter range. I don't want lesser power. I want maximum range, maximum performance from whatever I'm putting down range. So I don't hack the barrels down. I want to go just to reverse. I want longer barrels on my weapons, if it makes sense. Some weapons we're going to watch out. The combination of length, the length formula for certain pistol cartridges is such that right now it doesn't lend, you know, it isn't a positive thing to go longer. In fact, just reverse, you actually want the barrels a little shorter. 45 ACP is one of those that's in that niche. Right now we'll go with the barrels that we have that are on the high points. I'm not going to hack any of those down or anything, but remember that 45 ACP by the very nature of its maximum energy curve with regard to performance and with a barrel length. A much shorter than 16 inch barrel typically will work with the Thompson type or submachine gun type using a .45 ACP. You're not gaining anything by extending the barrel length extremely there. With your rifle calibers you are. We're not talking about doubling the length of the barrel. Oh, it's a 40 inch barrel! No, that's not what I'm talking about. We're talking about common sense utilizing the original performance curves and all of the formulas that were available with the standard arm as it was built typically with a 20 to 23 inch barrel. Both the AR and many of the other MBR rifles that are out there that we want to put back together. Okay? Anyway, that's ApexGunParts.com ApexGunParts.com ApexGunParts.com 719-481-2050. Check them out. There's a lot of the stuff there. If you're looking for parts, go there first. just like e-circoinc.com, e-circoinc.com and gunpartscorp.com. Gunpartscorp.com. You're looking for parts? Those three companies, Apex, Sarco, and Old Numer Charms, which is Gun Parts Corp. Pretty well will have probably what you're looking for. Now you want to shop around and they're not the only companies. I know that. But they are. Pretty good for finding the odds and ends of the good stuff that you're looking for to get the job done when the time comes next and Oh, thank you, Kentucky. Uh, you know what? I didn't Granger. Oh, what does Granger have central equipment? HVAC and refrigeration. Oh, yeah Smoke emitter cartridge. They don't want to call it a smoke grenade. It's a smoke emitter cartridge Thank goodness. You mean a smoke grenade? No, no, no, no, no! Wait, there are cartridges! It's a smoke emitter. Okay. Well, as a matter of fact, thank you for bringing that up. There's an example right here. Let's see what we're looking at. A smoke emitter. Three minutes, five to a pack. Three minutes worth of smoke generation. Five to a pack. $21.52. The manufacturer's model number is S104 and let's see what is the Grainger number? Well it's Smoke Emitter, 3 Minutes, PK5 as in 5-Pack. And the catalog number for that is 4307. So thank you very much sir for bringing those up. And by the way there's a whole page and there's a whole pile of them so it's a matter of what you're looking for there. They have a smoke pen. No, we're not worried about the smoke pen. But they do have smoke candles. 8,000 cubic feet of smoke. Pack of 12, $79.65 with tax license and dealer preparation. Oh yeah, that's really cool, man. Well, they actually do have quite a few other smoke generating, I guess, you know, smoke candles, smoke emitters, we can call them anything but a smoke grenade. It's a smoke discharge unit. There we go. How's that sound? Is that better? Smoke cartridge, eight minute burn. Again, $18.95 each. So go to Grainger. There's one of the many sources. They have a number of the different systems available. You're looking at a five pack of four minute smoked cartridges. $51.47. That's Diverse. Let's see, DiverseATEC. DiverseATEC is the company. So, anyway, I'll even have smoke emitters a whole bucket full, 45 seconds each, 50 pack, $118.30. There's a tiny baby. So, and bigger, whatever size you want to go, looks like they have them available, guys. Purely matter what you want to spend and how much smoke you want to generate. Now, of course, these are brand new and these are industrial grade. and there are other companies that produce and there are other companies. Granger's not the only one but Granger has been around a long time and typically somewhere in your area there is a Granger store that you can go to. You can ask more questions. Anyway, we are looking at oh, let's see, let me see if there was a phone number. I don't see the 800 number but that is www.Grainer. that's g r a i n g e r granger dot com granger dot com for a search bob put in smoke emitter cartridges there are twenty results found that include twenty products well there's another solution thank you can talk to you appreciate that and there are other companies if you have any suggestions eight throw them into the page will put a lot on the air survey knows where to look Actually, wait a minute, hold on, he also did give us another one. superiorsignals.com. And Your Smoke Applications. So we're gonna go straight to them. I just wanna see what their price range is. Oh yeah, these guys are, these are our kind of kids. And again, detecting HVAC leaks. It's the test HVAC with superior smoke as opposed to all the others that make inferior smoke. I always love it when that happens. Anyway, again, that is at superior signal dot com. Superior signal dot com. That's superior signal dot com. And they do show also the smoke pellets. What's really cute are the smoke pellets or the smoke pod. Now, those are either the burner type or those are the crushable. I don't know which. Basically, the pellets are also what they do to the gas then. I mentioned before when I was running the gas chambers, either we would use grenade, smudge pot, and they do make CS smudge pots. I just haven't seen them for a long time. And also, pellets. Use a number 10 can, put another can inside that, perforate the thing with holes in the side like an Amish candle holder. And you start with about 10 pellets and that will saturate an area, turn the area yellow if it's inside easily, and then bury the size of, oh, the first floor of a house. So just again, case in point, in this case, these are non-toxic, these are for testing. So they're designed to create smoke so you can identify leaks in a ventilation system, an H&V system, or you can watch the pattern and flow of your heating and cooling system to ensure that it's covering the area and that it's sucking and blowing the way it's supposed to. Okay, that's the purpose behind these things. So these are smoke emitter systems. Ah, yes. I can handle that. Smoke generators are smoke emitters and they're superior. Now, a couple other things here. Also, I... Well, I don't know how we're gonna do this. The gas mask issue is this. There aren't any wholesale masks except for the $5 ones that I mentioned because nobody knows where they are. Everybody understand what I just said? Yeah, the good thing, and it may not last, I'm trying to deal with this or get this out of the way. We'll figure out what we can do. There are about 600 of the $5 masks that I mentioned before available. The only reason they're not gone is because they've not been put over into the general NBC category for the particular page that the company runs. If that happens, the purchasing agents would scarf them up probably in a minute, and as it is, I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping that at least somebody is restrained for a little bit longer. In filters, the only thing that's left in wholesale are the M10 filters. If you're trying to make a decision for your short-term future in terms of purchasing, the M10 type masks. Filters are still available for them at the wholesale end, but there are no 40 millimeter there are no 60 millimeter at the wholesale end. That wall has now been hit, everything's been milked out of the system. There's only one pattern of chem suit left on the wholesale end, although it's a good one actually. It's the Czech military, in fact the one they just used when we went into Desert Dust Part 2, the adventure continues. It has two of the cover all liners for the inside, those are the filter cover bodysuits. the external plastic shell which of course is designed to keep things from soaking through and then of course it has its own carry bag it has a mag pouch cover and a bayonet cover etc. Those are not critical but they're nice that they're a freebie or a gimme with everything and yes the booties are covered the whole nine yards. So between the Czech M10 and the Czech Chem suit you actually have a pretty good system and one size fits most because their logic was that better to have something that fits pretty much everybody. They use a cinching system to tuck everything in, to suck everything in where it needs to be and that's how they build their equipment. As we find out more, we'll let you know. But again, the logistics issue with regard to being able to move those has been the problem. We can drop ship them, but we need to be able to get the funding moved to them. And I don't want to double handle these things and I don't want to double the shipping. So again, don't think we forgot about that. I know Fluffy's probably going, hey. And again, we'll give you an answer on that as quickly as we can, maybe tomorrow, once I know what's going on. As far as whatever's out there, retail, that's pretty much it. There are of course some Polish M10s that have come in. Now the Polish M10 have been totally familiar with the East German M10s from years ago. The East German, the Czech and the Polish are all pretty much comparable. The Polish M10s were in military service until just a short time ago and I doubt they've withdrawn them all guys. It never works that way. They have started to withdraw them or they started to offer some on the render revolution market. I guarantee that the Polish military and the Polish government still has that mask in service somewhere in quantity. No doubt about that, Mark. Anyway, as it is, take the time. Check out Sportsman's Guide. No, they're not cheap. I will remind everybody of that. They're not cheaper. They're getting more expensive. They do have the masks in stock. The one thing about the M10 is all of their hoods integrate. You can make an M17 hood work with an M10 Czech or Polish or East German. With regard to all the other outserts and such, pretty much everything. If you use one, you can use it on the other, which is really interesting. There are some parts interchangeability options out there. Back years ago, nobody was going to run into the M10s because they were still in military service. And so while the M17s were coming out in the surplus in the United States to a very limited degree, mostly just their parts, the mass themselves were destroyed by the U.S. government, and the ones that have come into circulation are because they were sent out of the country and they came back in and were sold to the population as surplus from other countries like the Israelis or from the Dutch or from even the Austrians. Interesting. Mark? Go ahead, Golar. Yeah, Fluffy. Oh, in fact, I was just going to go, ah, man. But those check-in tins, they use a proprietary filter, not 40 or 60 millimeters. the Czech M10, the Czech, the Polish, they use a chipmunk cheek filter like the M17. And that's why the filters are still available because there's a quantity of those that came in and most people are not familiar with them. As a matter of fact, let's go to, you know, as long as we're on that subject, let's do it this way. Let's go to Sportsman's Guide real quick. I wanted to see if they ran out. I looked at the numbers and it looked to me like they were going to. www.sportsmansguide.com. I hope I've got this right the first time where I'm going to get pissed. As it is, oh there we go, very good. Okay now, if you punch in as a keyword, obviously gas masks. You can get a good image, a quick image of what we're talking about here. Both the Polish, the East German and the Czech all use again an M10 filter. They use the same Eastern European filter. Well, they're showing the M10 Polish models at $15 apiece. They are, if you're in the Buyers Club, they're $13.49. I'm looking to see if they show the kit or not. Now, interestingly enough, the Polish one, they're showing what looks to be a US M17 gas mask bag, or the Poles were already on that. There we go. It's probably a knock off copy because the metal on the bag is white, the Euro white and usually ours are blued. Otherwise the inserts and the outserts, the insert which is the chipmunk cheek filter itself goes inside. With ours, the M17 we use a clip system, we use a compression snap system. You push it on like a bottle cap. With the M10s, you thread the outserts, you screw them into place and that holds the filter solid and seals the filter where the intake point is on both sides. Now the Chipmunk Cheek filters, the idea behind this was that it offered a greater ease in breathing, something we've talked about before. The 40 millimeter channel is 40 millimeter. The 60 millimeter older masks, by the way, offered a lot less resistance. Well, the chipmunk cheeks on the M17 were the same way because you have an intake of both left and right. However, because of the design, when it comes to changing filters, you have to withdraw to a decontamination point or if you're switching out fast, you'd simply have a second mask handy. You drop the first mask and it's either rebuilt or it's turned into waste and then you apply the other mask. You don the other mask. The filters themselves for the M10 and for the M17 are different. However, in both cases they could be adapted to each other by the very nature of how they are kept in place on the mask. But the M10 filters are running about $8 to $15 a set. right now depends on who you're trying to buy them from. Some people got a little crazy. This price on the M10 pole masks is not bad. At $15 right now it's probably one of the cheapest masks available. The other masks are showing the Israeli Civil Defense for $35 and they're showing the Dreygers new for $40. But that's it. They've got three masks and that's what you choose from. Now Maine military still has some masks But I understand they sold out of their M15s. Those are gone and I don't know what other ones have been sold out and the price went up progressively until they ran out. I haven't had a chance. Frank called and I didn't get a chance to call him back today. But Frank called me and I was in response to what I was asking about with the gas masks. So I'll get back with him tomorrow. Now, one thing about Frank at Maine is he tries to keep his prices down, but the problem is he can only do that for so long because replacing the inventory, and he knows very well what's going on with wholesale, replacing the inventory can be very difficult, if not impossible, and you've got to be able to ride with the prices. You've got to be able to, you know, again, you'll have to get the cost of the mask, you know, back to be able to buy more inventory. And so that's why the prices change respectively or progressively. You just can't help it. On the wholesale end, the big thing is, like I said, we've hit a wall. There isn't much of anything out there to buy. Now, what that's going to do, the prices, the economy's soft. If they're smart, they'll just keep things where they are. But prices have already crept up on most of the masks. So that's where the balance is. The M2, M3, Ugo's that I've already told you about in Fluffano, you're probably wondering about two, like I said. They have them, but the only reason they have them is because they did not have them listed with the rest of their masks. If they had, they'd probably be gone. Most likely. Yeah, and they would. You're investigating as best you can. I'm not trying to be pushy. No, no, no. Well, the pushing... I'm hoping that they won't. I kind of joke with the guy. I said, well, please don't do what I think they're thinking about doing. And he doesn't have any control over it. They may... Because they don't have a product, they'll slide what they have over to the other category and that'll probably... They'll go because the guy bought several thousand masks and they were much more expensive than what we're talking about. So, buying up 600 of these masks at $5 apiece would be nothing for this person. And I'm sure he's already gone through all the other masks. That's what's happening. So, we'll find out more about that. That's why I've said, if you see it for a reasonable price and it's in line with what you wanted to pick up, I understand guys going for it and purchasing what you need. In fact, I would expect that. But I was hoping again like we could save at least you know we take advantage of the price The biggest problem is again the double handling I don't want to do that because you're spending as much money More money actually on the shipping than you are in the product Especially if we had a double ship that it comes to here and then it goes somewhere else if I can set it up so that it goes from you know there to you and Everything else is copacetic than we're fine Absolutely. We can keep it that way. The other thing is, and again I mentioned Decon Agent, I noticed a couple of the stores have some really great buys on pool supply because of the whole issue of capital being tied up. Check your hardware and check your chain stores like Lowe's. Lowe's can certainly hang on to the stuff. They've got a warehouse type environment the way they're set up. But they're kind of over stocked by what I can see. And so depending on where you are, if they had a glut of leftover, they want to move that because they can't send that back to their warehouse. So you want to check it and also always ask, here's a little trick with the chain stores like Lowe's. If you go to Lowe's and they've got something that's got a damaged container or a damaged product, typically they'll cut it in half on price. You see how that works? So if you see something where it's got something mucked up and it's still going to be more serviceable, you can switch it to another container anyway. Guys, if it costs you half as much for that pool bleach, I'd pick it up. This will take into consideration. We've got VC coming up next, so I'm going to get the heck out of the way here, guys.
