A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat, and speaking low to me, he said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this the land of the free and home of the brave. You vie permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money is spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number and you've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm. And keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. and your daughters visit doctors so their children will be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you will fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? Oh, sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he'd vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God given right we only watch in tremble too afraid to stand and fight if he stood by your bedside to dream while you were asleep and Wondered what remains of the freedoms he fought to keep What would be your answer if he called out from the grave is this still the land of the free home? Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. This is the evening intelligence report. I'm R. Kornke. And I'm Don Betcher. One day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters, both on and behind the lines in occupied territories west, central, east, and south. Ladies and gentlemen, you are listening to us on... Liberty Tree Radio dot 4 mg dot com indian and freedom talk radio dot com running with a micro station cv stations and alternate technologies east and west of the Mississippi along with Alaska Hallmark ever from the top of me to be bottom of Florida bottom of Florida because you are going to go from Mexico to Louisiana Mississippi Arkansas Texas Oklahoma big chunk of Nebraska a whole bunch of Wyoming to include both the third the fifth the pit and are 13 sisters on the left side of that state. Don, it is dark. It is Michigan out there, it got gray and smokey cloudy. So I don't know what kind of front moved in, but pay attention on the roads kids. Moisture is most likely. Got to be ready for it when it hits. Don, what's it like in your neck of the woods? What's jumping off the wall there and what's the date today, sir? Well, this morning it was the second 29th day of October. So when it was told to me that it's actually the 30th day of October, I kind of felt like I'd lost a day. Where did I miss? place it but you know always trying to stay ahead of the game you know or a day behind I'm not certain mark but today is the 30th day of the year of our Lord 2000 cold windy dark the Sun barely came beautiful it was just you know wonderful day to be here kind of thing you know almost tried to rain and then it got wet for a while and then it quit and stayed cold after that again the 30th day of October 2014 Now I want to run into this because it crosses my mind and it needs to be pondered on and I've witnessed, I've experienced this. But you know, Mark, if sometimes living in a, you know, or rather trying to purvey thoughts in a audio world that might be better done visually, let's just do it like this. He hit me with the right. So I hit him with my right. He hit me with his right. So I hit him with my right. Now we could continue that for a while. He hit me with his left end so I hit him with my left. You know? There's a problem with that, isn't there? Because you guys, if you are behind your opponent, if you are mimicking your opponent, but if you're one step behind, you're losing throughout the whole of it. Understand that and then look at where we stand. I don't need to elaborate on it. Mark, you've talked many times about comparing it to being a foot race. And all we have to do is be there at the end. It's like, you know, the thought line near is like possession is nine tenths of the law. I'm certain you're trying to, you know, move that thought into the people. We need to beat them. In many arenas, we need to be before them because it's a little bit late to strike after the front door is crut. You heard that phrase earlier in the day, the portion about the front door being crushed. But by then it's just a little bit too late for you, isn't it? Or me, or whoever that particular victim is at. So again, he hit me with his right hand, so I hit him with my right hand, and he hit me with his left hand, so I hit him with my left hand, and we could do that for an hour. We could just generally describe a barroom brawl. But if you're doing what you're, if you are mimicking your opponent, if you're just one step behind your opponent, he is leading you in that dance, isn't he? And I'd much rather not be led around when it comes to a, oh, how does that phrase go? A dance, a dance of death. So again, you know, one step behind. Hey, hit me, so I hit him back. Sometimes that's good, but sometimes it isn't. I wanted to bring that. to the arena. Mark to the hour. Thank you sir. Again for everybody out there remember guys tit for tat we've got to do better we know that. We have to we have no choice superiority and range and effectiveness to do that we need to be better armed better equipped. We're going to farther down night vision technology you have it it's available what do we have again what are we seeing the situation with the supply and how can we get hold of you please. Well, in reverse order my phone number is 2317968458. Again, 2317968458. That touches on the contact. I know it's old fashioned. It's a phone. It's, man, the phone's been around forever, but text me on that number. Don't tweet me or any other, call me and we'll talk about night vision. You can call me at 231796. 8 4 5 8 it's a smartphone, but the pocket it is in isn't smart enough to operate the I'd much rather talk to the point you know that way you answer this text answer that I don't know about that right we can get a lot more done a lot sooner my phone number is 231-796-8458 as far as availability we've we've you know touched on the disappearing first-generation green screen it's a marvel it's a it's a It's not a comic book. It is disappearing and it's not being done by a magician. It's just a... It's a logistics thing. It's a supply thing. It's a money thing. What we have left is the first generation gun site. That's Green Screen. And I've told you before you guys, you're gonna come across Green Screen at gun shows and gun stores and it'll dry up out of there soon too. Because what will replace it on their shelf will be a... the... innards, you know, that's a highly technical term. We could say the guts, you know, all of the mechanical stuff inside DVD cameras. That'll be new first generation. That's what they'll call first generation. Now, we've addressed this in a number of different ways, but we're experiencing it. We're living it, you know. It's like, what is that? The 30th of October. We told you this in the first or second week of the first month of this year when we became aware of it. within 24 hours. Now that was told to us at the time, it'll be gone at the end of the year. That's pretty close. That guesstimation was pretty close because we're only two months coming up right now, two months away from the end of the year, right? But all the viewers are gone in green screen. And we've got four and six power gun sites. The four power, I can put it in your mailbox, right in your mailbox. That's everything the manufacturer would put in the box if he was going to mail it to you himself for his full price. In my price include delivery, I can put it in your mailbox for $390. My phone number is 231-796-8458. We've got second generation viewers in gun sites and third generation viewers in gun sites and stuff. hang from your headgear or your helmet and on the top of your gun but let's do a comparison here because I get that call every now and then can you get me one of those PVS-14s that hangs from your headgear or your helmet or the top of your gun you know behind your Trigicon or your ACOG well I can get that for you in second generation you know that's around $1,850 but you know I can get your real second generation gun sight for the aforementioned $1,245. I didn't mention that price today, but that's a lot cheaper than that one thing that's trying to do a whole bunch of things and doesn't do any of them really, really good. Again, sometimes the right tool for the right job and versatility can be a nice thing, but you know, if you want a gun sight, it would be good to buy a gun sight because that little dinky PVS-14 is not It's going to live very long on top of your AR-10, on top of your M1, on top of your 308 or your 30-06. But that first generation 4-power gun sight will, and that second generation 2-power gun sight, they're both purpose gun sights. They're not something that was adapted over to be a gun sight. They are true gun sights. If you want to talk about other things, I'm not going to take up much more. I'll take up just another moment. You know the definition being about 20 seconds and I'll get the phone number out twice. If you want to talk to me about night vision, my number is 23179658. Again, 23196858. Goggles or gun sights, green screens or thermal. Give me a call. Thank you Mark. And again, why are you dealing with a stranger when you can deal with Don Metcher? Again, for everybody out there, 231-796-8458. Joe Budd of the chatroom, thank you for reposting it there. We appreciate that. A couple things here too, guys. With regard to the night vision technology, I was mentioning during the two hour block about helmet attachment. There are fixtures that are designed to go with the steel helmets. The plastic ones, even the skateboarder helmets are as good as any. It doesn't have to be all the fancy curves, bumps and bimples. If it doesn't offer any armor protection other than just preventing your head from bouncing and a big chunk of the helmets out there, that's all that they're doing. Even though they look very sophisticated, they really aren't. For a lot less money, you can put another helmet together, take the fixtures, screw them right into the helmet, bolt them into place. Make sure that the bolts aren't making contact with your head. And with pretty much all the ballistic or the plastic non-ballistic helmets, they work just as well. Those fixtures and fittings can be had from, I guess, a number of different sources. Don, I never really have asked, do we have those available to the company that provides night vision devices? I can get the Paz-Gat fixture or what they call the Mish on my CH fixture, which is a new replacing the Paz-Gat stuff helmet. So we have an option to go either way for anybody out there listening. I would think the PazGat for the Ark probably would work with the biker helmets, although again even the newer one. The fixture is completely adjustable to match to your eye anyway, correct? Yes. So whatever helmet we affix it to guys, or whichever one works best for our purposes, we wouldn't have any problem assembling and putting together a decent system right from the get-go. The big thing is again the night vision technology needs to be in hand. We're looking at a clock ticking down and there's a whole lot that needs to be accomplished here within a short period of time. The biggest problem is again, green screen being limited. It's not that they couldn't build more, but for whatever reason, again, there were another 50 that were produced in one model. I would assume that they're scouring the inventory for components. Something we've talked about before, industrial surplus. It's brand new, still in the box. virtually in what they call the production trays and it's in places all over the planet industrial surplus but mostly outside the United States none of it here anymore but you gotta go through Indonesia, Micronesia, Malaysia you've gotta go through the Philippines or Vietnam or China mostly the island states because those are the ones who are doing a lot of the high-tech micro work like this going back through to the VHS camera days up to present and through all the models in between. The digital sub-assemblies, the receptor units or the broadcast units were built as modules and of course different systems were accommodated according to the design specifications. A lot of those sat there in piles and some of them, not some, many still do because they were a chunk of change when they were built. It's not like they're junk. The thing is whether or not somebody will, before somebody tosses them out or scraps them for their raw materials, somebody else comes in and goes, hey, there's an application for that. And there is. Now, unfortunately, what they've gone is to this white screen thing, and I still don't understand that, but that's I've been talking to one of our engineers, and we're going to do a little research on this, about some other consideration. What if all you had to do was move one dip switch on a circuit board, and it would be green screen again, Don? Oh, you see, because I pointed this out before, traditional black and white monitors typically had green, you know, for computer monitors, green, amber, and black and white. and uh... clearly matter of select switch you know when you were there now all the old difference between the bigger screen you're familiar with the middle ones were talking about this scale so it is unlikely that they on engineer the design in other words but they would take the color select circuit off it would be effort that wasted in other words if you don't provide an option switch whatever you said it to is technically word will stay until somebody figures out what needs to be done Ah, so we're going to find out. And one of the things, if we can get a hold of a white screen progressively and carefully dissect it and look at the system, the big thing to remember is that, well, the other bizarre thing is it could also have a color option, a real color option, which I don't really want. But it would not surprise me because of the nature of the technology. The light screen produced now will show color and highlight. Right. And so that tells me that again, what they've done here, part of what they had to do, is eliminate all of the pass filters that originally were built into your VHS machine. That's one part that had to be done even at the broadcast end where you get the little small screen that we're looking at in our night vision device. Each step has a series of pass filters or identifying filters that were built into it to improve quality when it got to that little screen. You can pretty much see what you needed to see. You might recall, as we pointed out, that later on, to save money, a lot of the filters that were built into the cameras were negated for cost efficiency, in other words, beam counting, and they became much more light sensitive. This is why we've said, don't throw out those old cameras. A lot of them are almost night vision devices as is, or at least with some IR illumination, they're the equivalent to an infrared monitoring system, like generation zero, right? So they're not junk, it's just they would be applied in a different way. A tripod you already paid for or you get from a resale shop for nothing nowadays, combine that with a VHS camera with low or no filter system on it, and that could be a monitoring system in and of itself. Mount infrared LEDs like we've said before the unit, out away from it, facing away. And you have the ability to field a zero expense system or a minimal expense system that actually is pretty sensitive. Now you can't bebop around with it and you aren't going to mount it to a helmet. Remember how big the cameras were? Kind of like, whoa dude, what is that? He's got a box attached to his head. Well, you know, big box. You know, like not a big box. About the size of two cigar boxes. We're not doing that probably. So again, it would have an application, it would be limited, but it would be useful. So that's from utilizing the existing equipment that's out there. The other thing to remember is no matter what we have, we are going to come up with a solution for the white screen problem. That's not a maybe, not a kind of, that's going to happen. We'll work it out. Ideally, I'm looking for glass green lens. Now, the application to where to look there are again, camera filtering systems, but mostly those are for enlarging or for like the 35 millimeter camera systems for the lens systems to create specific effects. Certainly, there was amber out there and many shades of gray. Sounds like a song. Many shades of gray, dude. Or a current book, yeah. But in reality, there were also green shade and going into some fairly dark range lenses, which we don't want to get too dark, but we certainly should be able to find something out there in the market. Now, whatever there is, there will only be a limited amount of that technology because 35mm camera work is not completely in the past. The lensing systems are still used, but now everybody is going over to Cheater Digital. And since they're all going over to Cheater Digital for cameras, in other words, you can take a picture, but if you don't like it, you can modify it so heavily it really isn't the picture you took. But now you like it. Yeah, but now you like it, but you could have stayed at home and done that. You know what I mean? We're going to add dolphins. There weren't any dolphins there. We're going to get a sunset. It was about two in the afternoon. And we're going to add wave. It was a commotion. And we're going to put a ship sinking in the background. There wasn't any ship sinking there. Remember the blubbering? Yeah. See, that really wasn't it? It was a wisitania. It rose and sank again. Seriously, guys, there are people I've read most of the photography books. That's basically what it is. It's a cheap book now. How can you make your picture perfect? Well, how about you were supposed to go out there with an eyeball and kind of use your head and your lens? And a light meter. Yeah, and a light meter. These are all... The gilting is all gone. So it's like, why did you bother taking the picture in the first place? That's my argument. But anyway... Oh well, it doesn't mean you still didn't use the enlarger and crop a shot or whatever and you could clean up a ripply area or something that got fogged up. Yes, you could do that, but you tried not to. And only mean, if part of that skill thing as opposed to, eh, it's just a computer graphic, what the hell. It's Mr. Adams in him. Yep. And now... A couple of other things here. We're almost to the bottom of the hour and a couple of other announcements. One of them is from Pennsylvania. Apparently, again, by the sound of it, they may have grabbed Mr. Frying. So we're looking at what day? About 60 some days and one person and the battalion strength formation was tied up plus trying to find him along the helicopters and armor, which really didn't serve any purpose. Apparently trying to enter a building, who knows, initial stories like this, first of all, we'll wait until tomorrow to see if it actually has happened. Keep that in mind. And remember again that for the amount of time that the deployment took place, that's a whole bunch of people that weren't somewhere else doing something else, and that was just for one person. Oh yeah, what if they were looking for five? Yeah, and again, if you're hunting back, which is the other thing that they really didn't want to do, that's why they were doing this the way they're doing it, oh my god, we gotta get this, we gotta no matter what, it's like, really, it's futile, really? How many men were tied up? How much manpower? Of course they don't care about taxpayer money, so money is not relevant. Except that again, if they're spending it there, they weren't spending it somewhere else. Oops, we're not supposed to think about that. It's going to resist, you'll be absorbed. And this is a person who wasn't receiving any support or help from anybody. It's a matter of personal choice issues here. One of the options is just point yourself right out of the area. We've talked about this before. Rather than staying in an operational area, moving completely on down the road. Having done that, like I said, for every foot you put away from the epicenter of the event, That's many more square miles that somebody else has to try and figure out that you've traveled or where you are. They can't find you in because there's more space to cover. This is something we've talked about many times. In this case, he stayed in a fixed area of operation that was reasonably good sized, but again, we'll find out tomorrow. So far, heads up, they're saying both with a CBS piece that was posted in the chat room. And I believe there's an ABC piece hold on here down and I'll see if I can find it for you do do do evening news looks like Philadelphia CBS is the one and No detail the other one is ABC go ahead. I'm sorry. Please go ahead the evening news said so you know the 630 news I'm told there were no details, just the announcement of a capture and a single picture on, I think it was ABC. Again, no details, no talk of struggle or compliance or anything, just the announcement of the capture mark. Interesting that they mentioned something here that a governor's statement, which we did not see before, female recruits G-string images posted online, rock Israeli army. I'm not impressed, and I'm certainly not impressed with the Israeli military, so hell with them. Anyway, a couple things here real quick. On the note, the governor made this comment that, well, he had the opportunity to shoot civilians, and he only had an interest in shooting the state police because there were other people there present, and he did not engage them. Now, it's interesting that this goes back to the 22nd of September. But it was just now put out as a quote and I don't know why. I think this is rather bizarre, I mean only because, remember they're usually banging the gong and you know, rape, kill, pillage and burn and you know, crucify him, crucify him. And the fact that they had the governor making that statement is rather interesting to me, the way that they cookie-cuttered it out. So pay attention. The other problem they've got is more information or more of what was going on here will come out or they'll have to bury it. And since somebody else was making the comment that, man, this hasn't been in the news for a while, well, there's a reason, guys. Look at the dates. As we pointed out, for every day that he's in the field, how many personnel, the equivalent to at least a battalion in the field with full support, had to be maintained in order for this action to proceed. In fact, it was in excess of that with personnel having to rotate in from other homeland security, regional police, blah, blah, blah, which they don't talk about, but that's what obviously they would have to do and are doing, we're doing, if the story is correct. Again, a reminder, how much for one man? Now, do you think that they have those resources for 20 or 50 different locations? If it were 20, do you think they'd go into the woods? Right, there were a hundred different locations and in most cases they couldn't. See that's the other thing about the vehicles, which even locals were commenting on it's like the big old APCs were for as much as anything terrorizing the population, not for dealing with a threat. For sure. Yeah, it was for puffing up the secret police for the sake of again, it's due to the resist, you know, we know they shot them, but you know, and again, they didn't care about the local population, which everybody's kind of caught on to. They had a person killed last year. Cops could care less. Didn't even do a real investigation. Weren't really excited about going to find out who did it. Well, this shooting happened on the 12th of September, didn't it? Yeah, I believe it was that you know, I was at the 10th or the 12 right in there eventually, but you know a week ago the evening news was talking about it and they had a calendar in the background mark the calendar was Interrupted in the middle it went from the 12th of September unto today But it stopped in about the oh five or seven days into August So, there was a month there where there was no time, not a single day represented. I don't know why they had that calendar behind them in relation to this case. It's a mystery to me unto today. But perhaps that was the calendar was the last day that the state trooper had contact with his family. Or maybe that was the day that it really flared up. I'm not certain. It just makes me wonder why that calendar was in the background because there should be no represent. He was an Eagle Scout. He was an upright citizen. All of the things we've heard about the guy until the 10th or 12th of September. But why that void in the calendar? I have no idea. I'd really like to know. To bring that up the day that happened, but it seemed of no consequence. But it's been in my mind since. So I'd bring it to the air now. a couple of things here real quick. I'm looking at some other notices and there are some other conflicts. Again, guys, didn't get a chance just before the program to pull these up. So we've got a mix of different pieces I'll have to go through. Again, after the program. Tomorrow morning we'll do a follow-up on this as we can. A reminder, again, survival, escape, and evasion. First rule, take a direction, point yourself in it, don't stop. He could have moved 100 miles in Pennsylvania and if he had chose the times and what not right, he'd have moved from Hunk of Woods through streams across little open areas to Hunk of Woods. He could have been 100 miles away. As you point out, Mark, even if you only moved 10 miles away, they don't know for certain which direction you could have gone 10 miles north, south, east or west. What's that? 10 times 10? That's 400 square miles. 10 miles in each direction. Granted, one of the other considerations is that he had caches that were within the area of operation. That's okay, but the problem is, were the caches, you know, in looking at an evaluating operation like this, were the caches worth sticking around for considering that we were looking at earlier in the season when the weather conditions were better, when this was initiated, and you had plenty of time to recoup other material and support? from other opportunities down the road. Something also to consider is, as we pointed out again and everybody does this, you want cashiers all over the states. You want them all over the state where you are, if at all possible. They don't have to be perfect, but basic material Isn't that complicated to pre-deploy and have it buried, cashed in a car? It can be in wreckage, ruined, whatever you want. The more remote, the better, and the more isolated and difficult terrain, the better. Don't count on your GPS to find a place and then to find it again. Do not do that. Please, please, please. Mark, I know you'd like to, you know, another 30 seconds is all it'd take to elaborate on that. Can we just say turn the switch off? One of the most important things here too is remember by being more isolated in remote location, it's also easier to identify any threat as it approaches. So when you're building caches up, remember the location, it can be a promontory or an identifiable location easily from a distance, benchmarked by you in land navigation. But the advantages again, provided that it has good evacuation routes or again approach and evacuation routes from multiple directions, then no matter how you're being set upon, you have an alternative direction. You have a choice of points of the compass. And that's how you should be thinking and looking at most all of your cachees. The other thing is again, they don't have to be fancy and they don't even have to be all that good. But remember, don't count on the idea that you have tools with you to dig stuff up. So, again, one of the tricks here, oh it sounds terrible, but really you wouldn't care, you wouldn't care. You take a shovel, you tar the snot out of it. Seriously, paint it and then tar the whole thing. And leave it in the field. Now, is it going to be tough to work with? No, not really. But the idea is that the tool itself can be set in a position or a location where it is stored so that it's relatively out of the weather, but it creates a greater amount of endurance outside and in the elements. I've always been fast on this when I go through remote areas, what you'll find just laying on the surface because of erosion. or laying on the surface where time has had its way. And the one thing I can testify to, shovel heads, I have found everywhere. Now the handles, you can see where the last dusty remains or like stringy pieces of wood might still be laying there. But especially in excavations or gravel pits that are like off in the middle of nowhere and are totally remote, abandoned on the map probably in the 20s, to the 30s, to the 40s. It is amazing, provided it's not in the salt water, just how long some of this material will survive since typically the tool itself is tempered and hardened. Now, another consideration. You can make yourself some decent e-tools that you can leave behind by using a piece of iron pipe and welding that shovel head to it. and then dipping it in tar or whatever and you've created a durable coat for protecting it. Notice I'm not talking very high-tech and there's a reason. That is minimal cost. You can build these up, you can even put a T handle on it, break out that welder and what you do is weld that pipe to the head, shovel head, there you go. Then turn around, put that T on the top, There you are. Now you've got yourself a tee-headed shovel. Got a good deal of thrust there when you need it. And again, tie it up, put it in place, and it's on standby. Wherever you have a cache, the basic tools can be left on hand and still can be put in even a number of different optional ways to store it. So it's up off the ground but still relatively accessible, out of sight, out of mind. Be creative. But that gives you the ability to work, you know, to get whatever you need out of the ground and taking into consideration also seasons. That steel handle shovel might not be a bad idea because up here where we are we got freeze. It doesn't mean you can't get to it, but it means you have to work a whole hell of a lot harder to get to it. At a given point, depending on how deep you've buried something or how you set up, say, an underground chamber, you've got to bust through the frost line. and that's going to be your biggest problem. So again if you want make up some inexpensive pickaxes. Oh wait a minute Mr. Welder and the pipe are your friend again. Hammer out one pipe on one end and it will actually cut a piece about two and a half feet long. The other piece weld the short piece to a longer piece approximately three feet long. Three and a half would be fine. take the one into the pipe, hammer it flat and weld it. Then grind it to create a pick mat-hock. On the other end, grinder to create a spike. Once you've created the spike point with a four-point grind, take your welder, fill in the pipe at that point, grind it up again, grind it to again create that spike point. Congratulations, you got a throwaway pickaxe. Very quick, very inexpensive, crude and rude, but it works. That'll get you through that outer surface area during cold weather environments and that has to be taken into consideration. If it's an underground current as in a chamber, then your access point is all you have to get to and after that it's move the earth carefully away, access drop down in, everything is in compartmentalized chambers as in PVC pipe, which ideally in a situation like that is really one of your best storage systems. PVC pipe is cheap, you can get it in large bore, but it's amazing how much you can store just in 6 inch or 4 inch pipe guys. You're not restricted by length except for the size of the hole you want underground or the space you want underground. Especially with clothing, socks, foodstuffs, whatever. If you've got excess, which is not hard, to a larger bore PVC pipe, a simple cap clean out glued on one end, and a pop cap on the other, a standard flat cap on the other and you have yourself one heck of a nice storage tub or storage barrel and again very straightforward. So solutions, really straightforward and simple but taking the time and putting it in place is the issue and of course we're headed towards the big freeze now up here where we are. So, cacheing may have to be done in other ways taking advantage of wreckage buildings when I say wreckage old abandoned cars. I'm not talking about ones near the road, I'm talking about stuff that's off in the middle of BFE. You'll find and run into them all the time. Nobody's going to be taking them anywhere. They're not going any place. They've already grown in. Leaving something cache-a-ed there is not a big deal, but make it look Star Wars lived in. In other words, don't leave it shiny and bright and stick it inside the wreckage and think somebody, if they're looking around, isn't going to get curious. Old rusted junk people aren't excited about. Old rusted junk with something that doesn't match the old rusted junk makes people curious. See how that works? So again, just something to think about there. Don, I'll tell you what, a couple of things we were talking about, in fact, I'm off the air here, I was talking with a friend yesterday, about implementation of, say, a team with night visions, weapon systems, rifle systems at night. Again, with an Overwatch, what would your best or, again, optimal distance be with a two man, say, spotter rifle team deployed at night? What are we looking at distance from rifleman to rifleman? Because, again, what are we looking at in the way of depth with regard to visible range with those night devices? Go ahead. Well, that's kind of a trick question because it goes over to the light level how much moon or are there clouds obscuring the stars if the moon is gone? So that runs over to the that's the full gamut question right there of what your night vision will do You guys even if you've got a full granted, you know, you can see things with your eyes People say I don't need to a night vision with a full moon But you can distinguish things easier with first, second, and third, even fourth generation with a full moon. Your distances of recognition are much greater with a full moon. As example, that four-power gun sight first generation with a full moon, excuse me, and a good contrast of background at someone might be walking across the road at 200 yards. you would be able to, with a full moon, see that person walking across the road. Not to that I can recognize his face, not to I can recognize his uniform, but to the ability to I can clearly see that that's a person. Or in second generation, your picture is going to be finer, in third generation, the picture will be just a little bit finer. But you're going to have that if you've got a quarter moon. You're going to be able to still that 200 yards is no big deal second and third generation if you've got a quarter moon that 200 yards is going to be cut to about a half of that a hundred yards I'm certain that that's a person I can target by the time the moon is gone that might be 75 that might be 60 yards, but again it might be it might be 75 or 100 yards depending on what the target looks like in the contrast it has to its background We've talked about this a number of times. Really lousy daylight camouflage would work pretty well at night against the first, second, third, or even fourth generation green screen as long as you don't show motion or real, you know, whole shape. We've talked about camouflage. We've talked about how your eyes work, you know, motion, shape, and color. But if you're in a shadow, even we've talked about this, you guys. Any green screen is going to adjust to the brightest object in its field of view and if you're in a shadow well that's going to be a little bit harder for the green screen to see into and If it's a full moon, and if it's a shadow of a pine tree You're not going to get any information out of that shadow You can run a you can bring up an illuminator and light that shadow up and then find out what it but in that hard shadow so to speak A lot of this is illustrated, I mean is example. There are no drawings in the night vision video. So we've addressed this in an audio and a visual way in the night vision video. But as a general rule, and we've hit right on this before, your tactics aren't going to change at night. compared to your tactics in the daytime. Why? Because odds are somebody out there is going to have night vision. And if you're moving to an objective, there might be someone between you and where you want to be. But if you're doing the bounding overwatch, you can move according to the land, you can move according to the cover and concealment. But in that limit will be the ability, how far beyond my guy can I see right now? If he has the same device as you, when you move the whole team to the edge of somewhere and the thought moves up and down the line, this is what our performance is right now. Everybody here can see that tree there, that one tree out there in that field. It's not directly ahead. It's like at our two o'clock and it's just up on that rise. Everybody can see that tree clearly, right? And when we again agree on performance of each individual device, everybody can see that tree clearly, so to speak, or anything that's there. When you cut that distance in half, you move particular people across that, they gain the cover concealment there. Now you work that overbound, right? Because they're watching you move, right? Well, actually they're watching where you're moving too. So again, your tactics aren't going to change much. There are the La Dida tactics. We are moving through an area where we believe there are no threats. Kind of like walking around in your backyard today or walking over to see your neighbor or walking five miles away to just take something over there. We are kind of moving fast and we are not really particular trying to be real cautious because there's nobody here that's going, you know, there are no threats here. You can find yourself in areas like that, but even in areas like that you might come across the occasional intrusion. This is why it's called traveling, where you're still attentive but you're trying to make time. Yes. That still means that full 360 degree observation is taking place. That gets into the whole issue. I was talking about with the two, the dual rifleman situation, because a couple of LPOP personnel or even a forward picket. Now, forward picket is going to engage. An LPOP, Listing Post Observation Post, is deployed so that they can let them pass. There are a forward set of eyes and ears that also are used in the event that any maneuver takes place by the enemy. The unit commander that's deployed the LPOPs is able to continue to collect intelligence from his eyes and ears. In other words, let's say that we have a force moving through your area. You have your pre-deployed night vision technology in place. They are first of all scanning 180 degrees between each and overlapping obviously. That would be your best solution. But they can also observe if a unit passes through, especially say an advance operation that is making contact. But you obviously have more activity behind them. Well, the unit commander doesn't just want you to pop rounds on the target because you're more valuable being able to observe the intention of the main force or main body. And provided you've probably deployed yourself and you're properly dug in out of sight, minimize your thermal signature, You are able to observe and be the eyes and ears for activity as it moves towards the main body on your side or whatever defensive position. It could be a retreat where you're going to break contact. That advanced information allows the individual that's in charge to make a decision about what best route to use for evacuation from the site. You see how that works? In other words, as the formation moves through that position, the follow-up element may move left or right into perform a flanking or an L attack. Remember, they do not want to face each other because they're firing on each other. A friendly fire isn't. Well, depending upon how they establish that left or right flanking action, that would determine for the unit facility commander or the medical officer, whoever is trying to evacuate his people, how to make a decision with regard to evacuating from the site and breaking contact as quickly as possible. On the other hand, if you're a picket, your job is to solve the alarm and do damage. Now pickets normally would have not only your night vision but would have pyrotechnics, anti-personnel technology, command detonated mines, and they may have even laid temporary or hasty minefields. And that's a very realistic scenario. Remember that first foot popper might determine when you're going to fire somebody up. If you've deployed a bunch of small mines through an obvious area of approach and you know that they're now in the contact or impact area for your primary weapons with your night vision technology, Then, when the first foot popper is activated, at that moment is when you engage with additional small arms fire and command detonate other equipment. That way you create the most amount of damage and confusion in the shortest period of time and because of the high explosive detonations and other devices going off, initially there's no way to determine the force strength of who they've made contact with. So, in other words, you're blunt forcing their nose, you're scumming them as quickly as you can. That's why we're discussing the idea of, again, optimal ranges with regard to separating the two men or keeping them closer together. Obviously, as we pointed out, if you're even as a picket, you still want to be able to observe around your entire perimeter. Because there's no guarantee that someone's traveling just down the road that's in front of you or just down that Valley or that ravine or whatever is it you're observing? Paralleling you even. Yeah, motion can come from all directions. So you must constantly be cognizant of your environment. This is why it's always good to have two guys at least in a position right Don? Because well, yeah, can't see everywhere at once kids. Right. And I would point out that the policy should be while one individual is observing in one direction, the other should be observing in the opposite direction. Then, as we observe something but we're trying to confirm it, then a standard SOP for target, three o'clock, 300 yards. Okay, I'm looking, I've got it. Yep, it's in motion. I see one, I see three. 4, IC4, okay we've got a confirmed target and now you're prepping for contact. If you're observing and you're giving information to your host unit, your primary unit, then the important thing is to be able to give force, strength, numbers so they can estimate again response, necessary response. Try to calculate what they're going to do in the way of delivering energy to neutralize the threat. If you're going to fight, here's another rule. Minimal force, maximum result. Yes. Okay, in other words, be surgical. Remember that that platoon or that company that you're engaging may only be the lead element of something bigger and certainly there's other stuff that can be coming in from the other dimensions to include... Pick them the choppers, boys. There you go. Okay. Well, don't worry. Alpha company is going to light them up. They're already down and thermal, thermal negative. But as soon as you see that 20 millimeter gun go off and the first of those helicopters smoke, light them up with everything else. See how that works? Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, wow. Hey, those traces are really cool at night, especially in cold weather. So again, these are solutions. When you're looking at deployment with the night vision technology experiment, this is the other reason you do need, first of all, we will do as much in classroom teaching as we can, perfecting the technology with training aids without putting time on our equipment. Now, once we've done that, then you have to shift to the field because you need to gain time with that piece of equipment, that rifle sight or your observation technology. and you also need to experiment with the alternative systems we're talking about where you supplement with infrared sensitive cameras and all kinds of fun stuff. Anything that you can field you need to find out what it will do now. Step one, take advantage of the night vision videos that Dom's already done. Again, you've already put time on a machine, Dom's already run it. When you're looking at the night vision videos you're seeing it as if you were using your night vision equipment. Yes, so you have the advantage of not putting hundreds of hours think about if you have 20 men in a class I want you to all see the same thing Well, if you have 20 men and you want to put each man on an hour's worth of time on the scope That's a lot of hours. You're pulling off your system that would have been in combat, right? But it can't be done in one night Yes, but if you plug in that video and everybody watches that first You're already a step up several legs up ahead of the pack as a group and Then we switch over to employing the technology and guess what Europe just not right off the bat guys. Oh I hear the music we are at the top and by the way one of my favorites Don your number for night vision you'll be available in just a minute. Hey that number is two three one seven nine six eight four five eight God bless the Republic. Death to the New World Order. We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. But we are on the march, both day and night. We are closing for tonight. We'll be back tomorrow again, both in the morning and afternoon. Don, your number for night mission is closer. Noggles or guns, fight. My number is 2317968458. Green screens are thermal, 2317968458. Thank you Mark, God bless you. God bless you America.
