Summary
Mark Koernke discussed preparedness equipment and communications technology on October 14, 2014. He reviewed products available on DealXtreme.com including walkie-talkies, throat microphones, battery packs, spotting scopes, and remote-controlled RGB LED lighting strips for emergency use. Koernke emphasized building redundant communication systems through micro FM radio stations and handheld radios as gifts to family members, advocating for grid-building and signal deception techniques using low-power FM transmission. He also addressed ammunition and magazine stockpiling, noting record firearm sales in September, and warned listeners to prepare for potential supply shortages while taking advantage of current availability.

Visit them online today at MainMilitary.com. That's Main, like the state, Military.com. A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three cornered hat and speaking low to me he said, we've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations this legacy we gave. In this the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. The tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this, the land of the free and home of the brave. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm. And keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors, so their children will be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores, and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children? to live in fear and be a slave. O sons of the Republic, arise, take a stand, defend the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the land, preserve our great Republic and each God given right, and pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he'd vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true, we are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trampled each God-given right, we only watch him tremble, too afraid to stand and fight. If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms he'd fought to keep, what would be your answer if he called out from the grave? Is this still the land of the free? one day closer to victory for all of our brothers and sisters both on and behind the lines in occupied territories west east and the northeast well it is a gentleman you were listening to a farm liberty tree radio dot four m g dot com indiana freedom talk radio dot com and we are on AM and FM micro stations, CB base stations and alternate technologies east and west of the Mississippi along with Alaska. We're on the Hallmark network from the top of Maine to the bottom of Florida, from the bottom of Florida across the arc of the Gulf of Mexico. Headed Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Oklahoma, Big chunk of Nebraska, a whole bunch of Wyoming to include both the 3rd and 5th. and our friends in the recall state of Colorado. Waving to the left coast where we have the great state of Jefferson, we turn back to the east, sweep across the plains, leap over the burgeoning banks of the Mississippi, and land in the Smokies slash the Blue Ridge. With the restaurant crews, grandma teams, OK teams, and the Ma Bell Grandma Consortium of retired telecommunications workers, bring us The Golden Spike. Many hands make for light work. A million petticoat junction operators. The ability to continue to function when everything else is offline. Well, it is a gray day. It's a wet day. It's been raining squalls on and off. We've had rain squalls. Medium temperature, not real cold, not real warm. Just right in between. And pretty decent in general as far as for fall day. You know, wet. Tuesday, the 14th of October, it is the sixth year of open Fabian Socialist and Soviet Socialist occupation of America with a K2014 Old Earth Calendar or Mayan Crazy Town Calendar. And it is, of course, a beautiful communications Tuesday on top of everything else. So for everyone out there, take the time, plug in, check out what's going on with Liberty Tree Radio on our main page. I want to say thank you again to all of our friends for donating to get the end of the year bill done and out of the way. I want to say thank you. Of course, we did have a number of donations that came in the mail. And I have to remind everybody, our friends in Virginia. The package from Virginia got here today. Thank you very much and I'll be sharing that with Don also very very soon. So again we should be looking pretty good there. It is wet. The rain is not extreme like in pouring down or buckets. It's like in waves so it is fine rain so it's a saturation rain. Something to keep an eye out for if you're at low points or if you're on corners or intersections. We've had some dry days for a while and then all of a sudden this rain, well not all of a sudden, it wasn't like it was a surprise. But pay attention when you're coming up on intersections, two reasons, grease, but the other one leaves. It's that time of year, the leaves get wet, they stick to the ground, they prevent adhesion. And this is something people always miscalculate as drivers this time of year. We're in the northern states, we're getting the fall colors, and they are major. That means we got all those leaves coming down, they get on the road, they build up. It looks really cool in Walking Dead slash walking Fred with regard to the leaves all over the roads after two or three years of nonstop leaves and green and leaves and green and leaves and green, that kind of thing. So anyway, case in point. On the road it gets wet and piles up, locks down like little pieces of paper, helps your car to slide real good and more of them that are there, the better we're in, the more goodder it slides. So we don't want to see that happen, we don't want you to become part of an accident. Think ahead, slow down, pay attention to the environment and then get on down the road. It is Communications Tuesday. I mentioned dealextreme.com and I will do it again today, this afternoon. dealextreme.com or DX.com. Two things that are really cool that they have there with Deal Extreme. Walkie Talkies. Now they call them Walkie Talkies. You know, radios, handheld radios, whatever technical term you want to use for the era. Walkie Talkies still, of course, fits. www.dx.com and there are a couple of pretty good little buys there. In fact something new that they didn't have, at least not in any large numbers that I saw before, are expansion battery packs with more extensive service life in terms of post charging. So I'm going to find a little bit more about those. We're going to actually do a field research project here. I know the guys will. We're going to pick up a couple of these and we're going to run them to the ground in the evening. I want to see how long the batteries last. That will be one of those little projects we've got in the wings. Also, remember daylight optics, a lot of binoculars. One of the things I really like and I carry in my kit is a portable 15x32 spotting scope. They've got those for $6.99. You can pay $6.89. There's different models, but the one, let's see, what's the middle one? $7.66. There are a number of different variations on the theme, but these are little mini spotting scopes. So they're really cool in that they're pocket sized. These aren't very big at all. You can carry them in your breast pocket if you're carrying like day vision and night vision. You could use one of these for your day vision pickup scope. and then use the Nome type, small first gen night vision devices for your night scope, security and observation. Both of these give you reasonable enhancement into your area of operation, which is again during the day, it's unlimited, it's purely a matter of what you want to focus on. At night, night vision is limited, we know that. So that will just be a catch-as-catch-can thing as we all know. Again, very comfortable, lightweight, easy to carry, and very user friendly guys. So you're going to want to check these out. You've probably seen them before, but you may not have experimented with them. They are a useful tool. You'll be able to patiently observe. You'll also be carrying a lot more equipment because it's smaller, taking up less space. The other thing about, again, deal extreme, as I pointed out, If you go to electrical and tools, they have walkie-talkies. Walkie-talkie! You know, walkie-talkie! Well, walkie-talkie. Walkie-talkie, if it was Japanese. Anyway, walkie-talkies supplies are also there. Walkie-talkie. And that includes additional battery packs or supplemental fixtures. One of the things that you'll find, they even have the replacement lithium batteries, something we've talked about here. The BaoFung BL5L replacement walkie-talkie lengthened batteries. Okay? By themselves, they're $15.99 a piece. Now if you have the BaoFung radios, you'll BaoFung! Well, guess what? You have the ability to switch over to a really cool variation on the theme. Another thing that they've got are the throat mic systems, and they're cheap. How well do they work? Well, I haven't had a chance to experiment with every one of these yet, but I've used throat mics in the past. side head mount with boom mic, that's the most common that you'll find in the gear that we're using. But the throat mic systems, there are more expensive and readily available over-the-counter units. In this case, 3.5 millimeter neckband, anti-noise throat sense air conducting PTT headphone with earpiece, etc. $4.99 for the base model, just for one. And that includes a flexible springy type, you know, it makes you feel like you're with the Secret Service. Which is interesting now as far as the fixtures and what they go to. Well hold on here, I want to make sure I've got this right. Cable is 127mm, or forgive me, 127cm connector K shape, dual 3.5mm plug. So again, that's got both the mic and the earpiece, you know, connect link. Now at $4.99, let's see what multiples. You only save a penny if you get five. If you buy three, as I've said many times, your savings is only a penny or two. If you buy three of these units, you do save about $0.50. However, if you buy, let's see, what's the price there? Yeah, $0.50, $0.54, which is cool. You save a half dollar. But if you buy five or more, you save another penny. So your big step savings is that single purchase and after that it's not really critical you buy a whole bunch at once. So if you want to pick up a number and experiment, that's the way to do it. Pick up the three that you need. You put them in your field, plug them in, put them in the field, see if you like them. If they suit your purpose, there you go, you got a mission. Now I would also point out You know the discount savings by three per person if you were the radio operators You know if you each one is gonna be running radio rigs because you're gonna break stuff Well, why wait till you break it then have to order it and then out of the same model How about you have three of the same model on the shelf and they're all ready to go in your you know use them until they die See how that works So there are a number of different throat mic options And there's a number of different battery packs that are available go through the system check to see what they have there is quite a diverse who? Well, take that back. I just found something here, a quad pack. Now these are the ear boom type with the wrap around the ear mic 726 for, let's see, for four. Okay, yeah, one, two, three. Okay, there's a picture right there. For four of them. Again, simple solution, couple dollars apiece. and it's all stuff you'll have to go through in peruse the uh... division that particular part of the x deal extreme dot com or d x dot com go to the x dot com and go to electrical and tools then go to walkie talkie supply that's not walking not rocky talkie surprise as in all of the prize knowledge supplies and uh... very cool lot of good stuff there So, again, up and down quality. If you're going to buy, if it's cheap, no, it's not going to be the highest end technology. But it is China's sport slave production. So, you know, it works. And don't be surprised that you're going to find a lot of the stuff is a lot cheaper than you expected. This is all the stuff that all these other companies are selling at retail for fill-in-the-blank prices if you get McGriff. There are a number of other adapters and pigtails though too that you should put into your radio kit, the RO should. And the reason I recommend that is that for all the different systems that are out there, you'll be able to jump from one to the next. So you can hook up either repeaters or you can hook up other mics, you can hook up other headsets. And the whole idea here is that you have a system. You're not just locked into one. You might in fact take all your equipment and adapt what you're using that plugs into your radio into another radio. Hey, that might happen. You know what I mean? So just something to think about there. Simple price. They do have a bunch of other really cool stuff in terms of antennas. In fact, I'm noticing that they've brought in a number of different antenna fixtures. For a pretty reasonable price, actually, cheap, cheap as expected. Maybe they won't be pretty soon, but right now it looks like introductory. Always take advantage of that. Now pay attention also if you have a radio and you're looking for a particular system. Remember that it's like with the handheld units or with the mic, so these throat mic with the earbud piece. make sure that that fixture fits yours first. Read everything. I've had this happen a couple times, and I looked at the pictures and I bought that one and it didn't work. Well, what was the model number? What do you mean? What do I mean? If it is a certain type of radio, it may take a certain connector, which typically some of these do have their own orphan or bastard connectors, and the same is true with antenna fixtures. They're scabbard clip type. They're a threaded type and there are some that are fixed. You just can't fix without desoldering things. Okay, they're fixed and rigid. With microphones and with chargers, well pay attention to the model number kids. I would recommend that if you do have chargers and you're using battery radios, I would buy an extra charger or two if you're going to do a bank of things simply because at some point one of them is going to die. You know, the chargers, everything can have a flaw. Anything could have a flaw. Something's going to go bad. It may not go bad right away, but with a limited lifespan, something's going to phase out. You need to be prepared for that in advance so you don't have any downtime and you don't lose a piece of equipment. It doesn't have to be set aside. By now, if you do have to set something aside, it's a hangar queen. Well, it doesn't work. I'm going to toss it. No, no, no, no, no. Do you have the same model radio in service or the same model tool or the same machine in service? Yes. Any one part you might have to scavenge off it pays for keeping it. Why? Well, go price the... For instance, my antenna, everything nickels and knives you to death. Spare antennas are $3.27 apiece, or you can buy a three-pack for 12, or you can buy a five-pack for 9. I mean, it varies depending on what it is. Remember, you wouldn't have to buy anything at all if you have one decent antenna on that radio that maybe got stepped on and it broke and it ain't working no more and it probably never will because of the main boards, cracks, whatever. You wheel off that antenna and it will go right on one of the other sister radios and if it's already got a problem that radio might have been a nice one but it got stomp, step, busted, folded, spindled, mutilated in whatever way. Pull that good antenna off, slide it over to the other rig and try her out. Now take the other antenna that still kind of works okay but not so much. Screw that onto the wreck, put a piece of tape on it with a piece of paper that tells you what's going on with the antenna. Used, serviceable, but tired. You can describe, you know what, if it's rated, if you've already done meter work on it, you already know what its values are. Well, write those down. That way there's no confusion. Okay, I know that doesn't work well, but it's better than the one that doesn't work at all. See how that is? Just like gun parts, car parts, and everything else. Military operations have done this for years. Humvees, I've told you about this, why we got rid of the Humvees. We had guys, different guys had bought them in the auction. But then we started looking at, you know, what ain't the razor, it's the blades. It was the cost in maintenance and also finding out more about how they were maintained or the lack thereof. So it's like, cool, somebody else needs that Humvee. Again, we just sold them on down the road and went to other things that were much more cost effective, economical, and had more of them for the price for the dollar spent. Just some taking into consideration there. So, as it is, wow, hold on here. Again, river covers, needless to say, we don't need the blues, we don't want the pink, we don't want the pomegranates, the puses. We're looking for tactical colors or subdued colors in general. Typically, most radio boxes are black, but there are other colors. If the black was all gone and there wasn't any of that particular color available, then you go to the dark blue, like the blue-gene blues and stuff, and even the burgundy, the burgundy and black, that burgundy color, not the bright red, but burgundy does really jump out at anybody, not the way, blue, NATO or UN blue, or safety blue, which is designed to be seen by satellite. That blue is going to jump out first time. Same with red, same with orange. You know that. I mean bright red, bright orange. And there's all of that out there. So shop carefully and scan accordingly. Now, DealXtreme is not the only company that does this stuff. Not saying that by any stretch of the imagination. But they do have some pretty good prices and they've actually been pretty good and consistent about what they get to people. It does, all the material that you're purchasing comes from different locations. They don't all come from the same factory. So you may get different boxes from different directions. DealXtreme is a picker warehouse operation. What they do is have a contract from the different companies that make all the goodies and they have them pick and send to you. See how that works? So just something to think about there. Let's see, remote controlling waterproof RGB LED strip. Hey, that sounds interesting. Remote controlled. How could it be remote controlled? I must find out more! This is something curious. These LED strips are really neat for emergency lighting. We've talked about these. See the problem is, millions of items, not enough time to keep track of everything that's going on, so it's a good idea to check them out. Again, oh, they do have, yes, it has a little remote control pad, guys. You can also select the color spectrum for the lights. Well, I don't really need, well, I guess you can pretty well pick any you want, but... This is really interesting. Color red, blue, and multicolored. These are of course on a tape reel guys like an old 35mm, forgive me, 14mm movie roll. And plug into the fixture which can go in the wall or go to the battery mounts. And you have a controller that actually allows you to remote control the color and change it at your discretion. Which is kind of interesting because you can do all kinds of things with that including Signaling, which if you see a certain color then you know don't come near and it's a neat way to do something and nobody would even have a clue. In other words, if somebody is actually paying attention, you could go through color shade ranges. Apparently, you can change colors too. Well, that's better still because you can actually signal with that color combination programming. Oh yeah, there's all kinds of cool stuff. Just because it does one thing doesn't mean it's the only thing it's going to do. You all know what I mean? Yeah, I think you. The other thing is cameras. Again, for utility, vehicle, movie cameras, digital of course, memory stick, the whole nine yards, they're out there in force. You can pay $15 to $50 to $100 to $300 to $400. Purely a matter of what you want to spend and what you want the camera to do. What do you think about that one? The other issue here again is while these are again lightweight items, don't expect these. They're not that industrial. But remember that they certainly are useful with regard to how these things are put together. The LED lighting strips, especially for night type overhead or below surface, illumination, limited illumination. More than enough to brighten up an area so you can move through it. Not so bright that it would destroy your night vision, especially if you went with like red and green or just green. Think about it. Green be very neutral, very casual, but red of course be another option. Remember use red or green lighting for protection of your natural night vision. You step out of an area where you have red or green lighting and you're not blind. Your eyes very quickly adjust. You haven't burned off the element purple. So these LED light rolls would be very interesting. The green is probably being the most desirable. For what you are doing, or the reds, it is a panoramic, whether or not you put a vestibule in the system when you set up the lighting. Remember vestibular, we have a blackout blanket and then you go into a chamber with zero lighting and then from there you go out of the structure. You go into the structure, it is the same way, minimal slash almost zero lighting in or out. Then into the inner sanctum, once you've closed the outer cover, you're in the main chamber, you go to the second access, turn over the blanket or the cover sheet or whatever the canvas, step in, close things back up. Now you're in red light for adapting your vision and then progressively into white light. See how that works? or if you're able to do it, which most places, reasons the reason you have a baffle is because they may not be able to maintain the red or black out lighting inside. But we can do that with something like this with these LED tapes. They are literally one after another after another after another LEDs and in this case, I'm looking at about five meters worth, that's 15 feet. 15 feet worth in this situation. Interestingly enough, yardsticks are meter sticks, guys, about the same. Interestingly enough, again, they do come in infrared also. Just something to think about. They're out there, they're in infrared, and they're reasonably priced. What's cheap by our standards? They have a complete roll of these LED lights for let's see list price your you will see 15 dollars so 15 dollars and The best thing to do is look it up go to deal extreme comm punching remote controlling waterproof RGB LED strip 3528 flexible light 300 LED SMD red and green and blue or red or green or blue or whatever color combination you want and that is possible with the remote control system to activate and deactivate particular colors and create a shade range from a distance especially. So pretty cool and it is a lighting solution. There's a nice little photo essay on how these things work. I'm using them for overhead lighting, using them for deco lighting, something I've talked to somebody about before, this is the neatest thing, I rebuilt a whole bunch of neon and fluorescent lighting in a deco building before. A lot of tedious work because we had to rebuild the old fluorescent ballast, the Tesla ballast systems guys. and a lot of work had to redesign everything with these LED lights you could actually follow all the scrolls of the overhead and create that really cool offset lighting that looks so unique especially since the LEDs would also be cooler and you could establish them. You could set them up in such a way that they would actually be in a standoff from the shelving up above the It actually troughs the way it's set up with deco lighting so it directs the lighting up and creates that haloing effect. Oh yeah, really cool. Anyway, other solutions to numerous dimensions, but again it's emergency lighting that could be rolled up, kept in a kit form, and used for a number of different projects to include spelling things out even. Oh, yeah, you could do that, couldn't you? Yeah, like neon lights. Only with LED tape where you just roll it back and forth and back and forth and make an M and an A and an R and a K. And it'd be like you could either do a cursive or you could do a stylized print. Hey, wait a minute. That'd be too cool, wouldn't it? Yes, it would. And it'd all be sitting in a roll waiting to be used the way you decide to use it. Creative. Okay, thinking outside the box. Now, another thing that they have at DealXtreme is micro FM radios. You know, we've talked about that. We do every hour because we bring up all of our friends across the country. Well, you're hearing what's going on with the Ebola scam. And this makes micro FM rebroadcasting even more important than ever before. It also means that all of your radio technology is as critical as ever before. So start finishing up the projects you started. Get the CB radios in place. Get the marine channel radios in place. We're looking at the gift season, guys. Do you have relatives that are kind of listening? Well here's the thing. Pick a radio. You know, like a batty thing. The bow thing radio. Okay. We did this with the bunny ranch. We said, hey, we need this radio. We want these radios. Send these there. I did the same thing when we ordered some and sent them there. We ordered at least a set at a time. The idea behind this is that you can buy a certain radio and give it to your family members. Now, I would not recommend a programmable radio for them. I would recommend picking a radio set or a quad set or a six set of radios. They're cheaper the more you buy by a few dollars. Okay. But if you got somebody that's got three or four family members get them out a couple of radios or get them enough radios one for each family member If it's an odd man out you'll have to buy one extra radio because they kept typically you want the best price they come in pairs The neat thing is you're saturating the environment. Okay, everybody's used to these cell phones They're all like pacifiers and everybody's hands and now everybody desperately has to have them You know take their brain and project it into the cell phone and they're they're gone their brains your minds are gone. Okay, so Well, when they get shut off and they go onto withdrawals, consider that those little micro-radios that you've given them, give them the ability to communicate. But let's say that most of them go on a brain fart, the Reprosak is cut off, they don't get all of the fluoride in the water where they need it because nobody comes to work, so all of a sudden we just got water processing and then you have nothing down the road because it stops. But as you know, everything gets cut off and now they have to start using their brain, they might actually pull the radios out. But if they don't, here's the thing. You've spent money, you know where all those radios are. When things start to get iffy but people are still scoffing, ask if you can have those radios. Hey, can I borrow those radios back for a bit? Wow, that's mean Mark. Yeah, no, it's common sense, because here's the thing. You give them to your cousins, brothers, uncles, mom, dad, everybody. And give them a couple radios. And everybody's got them. And the more that you do this, the more they're out there. The more they're out there, the more likely they're going to be able to access them. The more that we are able to access, the better off our troops will be. So this is the plus-plus thing. On the other hand, they might actually maintain the radio equipment themselves or use it or try to. Probably they'll use one and not even unbox. They might use two because they'll have to be able to talk to somebody, but they'll get all frustrated because it's not a gang thing. In other words, they can't run with the tribe. They'd only be in their own tribe and they really can't handle that because they can barely handle life and run around Prozac already because they got too much fresh water and they got too much food. They've got too much heat and too much air conditioning and they just can't live with it. It's such a tough life. They've got to get on Prozac because life is so hard. How can you live with it? Or even demi-clean water with fluoride. The upside has fluoride in it. Come on, you should be feeling happy and doped up enough with that. Let alone Prozac or whatever else they decide to throw at you. Interestingly enough, Again, with the CBs, I don't see that much. There are some with DealXtreme, but as far as other systems, I would point out that again, you might want to shop around locally or certainly get to the ham fest, guys. For CB radios and marine radios, put the grids up now. Start working on this now. Get it out of the way now. This is the time to do it. reason, well, things ain't looking any prettier out there. And we got the fallen borders, we've got the intentional air border wide open. Everything is set up for a fall and they plan on you being the victim to demonstrate why they need a bigger police state. So how about we just step away from them? Think about it. How about we do it this way with the shysters and the regime? Indy, let it go. Just let it go, Indy. Give me a hand. Come on, Indy. Remember that from the end of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade? Look, it's right there! Come on, son. Give me the hand. Let's just leave them all behind. Of course, when you do that, the shysters, the parasites, will follow you wherever you go because no matter what you do, so eventually you're going to have to fight, but at the very least, uh... in step away from the cell phone be prepared to do that be prepared to have another system on standby be building up a grid this is a macro process we've talked about this many times okay all uh... i don't know if it is right there i was thinking we were you know that i have a bottom-of-the-hour music break we've got nickel back there with their one to other latest milk pre releases for their latest album And so for everybody out there, if you can take the time, check it out. Again, they have a whole bunch of really cool stuff. In fact, well, there we are. And really, really fun Nickelback right here. Well, communications too. On the edge of pollution. Nickelback right there. These songs from the album. And we'll be out very shortly for everybody out there listening. So take time, check it out accordingly. A couple things here real quick. I mentioned the micro FM station radios from deal extreme. Now a few of them were completely sold out and have been restocked. And when they were restocked they've doubled in price. Now not all of them have been restocked yet and so they haven't sold out. One of those is the Cz e-5c this is one of those experimentals were doing out in Iowa forgive me out in Wyoming and Probably have one in Iowa too by the way because I know the guys have been dealing buying the DX radios Anyway for 88 dollars and 33 cents. This is a 5 watt 1.7 inch LCD stereo FM transmitter and This is of course full commercial range as far as the bandwidth little over on both ends by the way it'll bleed just off I believe it can be tuned just off of the regular dial. Up and down the band. Now that's kind of an advantage because that's something we've done before to operate signal communications in an area and experimenting with, you know, again, semi-climb destined signaling. If you're right on the edge of the FM band, not many people are really going to be paying a whole lot of attention to that, and especially if you make a little fuzzy and muzzy right on the edge of the Rest of the commercial broadcasting and when you're not operating in one direction, throw in a local station that's up the band or down the band depending on if you're at the top, if you're at the bottom, obviously from above, if you're at the top, obviously from below. Why do we do this? Well, the one cool thing is that most of you don't know is that there's a lot of harmonic signaling going on that you don't pick up with your equipment. But when somebody is listening and trying to scan the monitor, the dial, if you have a less powerful, here's the other trick, don't try to charge it the same as all the rest of the stations and don't try to put the most power behind it. 99% of what you're doing, guys, can be low signal even for long range and should be. Whenever possible, minimize your signal push if you're in a battlefield environment. You don't want to offer any more targeting opportunity than possible. But one of the cool things is if you make it appear that it's a harmonic signal, what you do is you micro-rebroadcast off of whatever that other station is doing out there, up the dial. But when you want to interfere, remember you could stop that signal, run a microburst using packet radio, and then go right back to that other station's frequency and activity, well, forgiving that frequency, but their signal, their broadcast. The neat thing about this is that unless somebody's really curious, they wouldn't notice this type of signal deception for quite some time. And even if they did, then they have to intercept the particular signal over, say, a 24-hour period, whatever it is you've decided to rebroadcast, I should say or broadcast within a one minute or three minute burst depending on how heavy you know how much you're sending out how significant the signal is. Remember it can be seconds or it can be minutes. There's no heating up the signal. In other words, this micro rebroadcast is actually appears to be what's going on on say 95.5 FM. Now you want to be careful. You don't want to have on the lower end of the band something that's from the upper end of the dial. Typically, when FM's start to lose their finals or start to open up a bit, there's a number of different reasons for this with big FM stations. With micro stations, it's drifting. Well, they drift, but the primary typically still stays on the mark, but what happens is it starts to open up the signal left and right, or up and down the dial. This can jump two, three, or four, what would be considered normal frequencies or channels. and then jump yet again. And there can be two, three, or four harmonic waves that are up and down the dial that can be picked up. Typically two down, two up, and they usually consist and they mirror each other because something's dirty and is broadcasting where it shouldn't. Okay? And what's really interesting is if it's a lower leg, you want to duplicate or mimic the image you're creating using somebody else's existing off-the-shelf technology that's running. You're going to create the illusion that they have a problem. You're going to be rebroadcasting within that window of activity, that area of activity that would be normal for a system failure of this type. Now, depending upon how cluttered your FM dial and how old the stations are locally, amazingly enough there's a lot of leeway that's taking place because the ring knockers don't bother certain people that are licensed even if they were to go out and murder five people and strap them to the outside of the station. just the way it is. They're favorites that are played with the ring knockers and spit swappers on a regular basis. That shouldn't be a surprise. But, again, this deception could be run 24-7. It could be run with low power and you drop the power down to its lowest setting and even fuzz it out a little bit. When you read when you feed that signal from the station repeat what you're repeating whatever that station has you're picking up off the airwaves You're gonna show it right straight straight through the system with no delay You're still gonna see a little offset in terms of synchronization Because it you know again processing time, but that's not a problem because it's close enough the average bear would even notice and Even if somebody did more research it'd be hard to tell There are all kinds of things that can muck up with a big FM and a big AM station that nobody talks about. It will bleed into if the drift is bad or intentional, which is what the WG-M does here, where they intentionally open up their finals to try to interfere with micro-broadcasting. What's funny is, eventually, because we were able to move anywhere up and down the dial where there's a space, When they tried to adjust and open up the finals they started stepping on commercial stations which we don't do. And so they got to be pissing off a whole lot of customers and a whole lot of listeners for other licensed stations. And that kind of of course fumbled the ball for them and made enemies of a lot of people who really really didn't like. I don't like the U of M for what they're doing, but especially their kosher run radio operations because somebody had to go out and fiddle with the transmitters, not just fiddle with the broadcasting out of the studio. See how that works? And that's kind of fun because that demonstrates, again, culpability, who's who in the zoo and who's cooperating with who. In reverse order, remember pretty much all of our micro FM stations are very clean. They don't interfere with other people. That's your first rule in rebroadcasting. Don't step on somebody else's signal. We don't do that with anything we do. We have a higher standard. We have a higher rating. And we're not run by a bunch of spook and coop punks that are, of course, trying to be anal retentive control freaks. Just not a surprise. We're the good guys. They're the bad guys. OK? Anyway, this particular little micro FM is $88.33. It's the CZE5C. It's 5 watts. It is 1.7 inch. It has a 1.7 inch LCD readout. Nothing big, but it doesn't need to be because all you're doing is verifying your signal. You're going to be tuning in whatever your FM outbound is. and again uh... this is a silver box i don't care silver black on the garden it's not black or you believe look at the black with all the cars dot silver what could it be brought on well it could be but it's not right now example of other odds and i've had people asking about this mark where can we get so i cheap shortwave receiver now i would point out that if you really do pay attention a lot of your little radios there in uh... Right now, different stores have short-wave. Most people have kind of ignored that even though it's right in front of them and I don't know why. Okay. But, and the big thing here is but, no, don't look over there at her. As it is, if you go to the same section here with Consumer Electronics, one of the things that I noticed that they got in recently, and it's a new product they haven't really had in any quantity before, And that is AM, FM, shortwave and other, in fact there's a whole big long shopping list of things that you can do with these radios. It looks like a Grundick type of radio, but these units are, and again, brown, literally brown. You know, I said, well, why not brown? Well, actually these look like they're being done, so it's in that retro, classic 60s and 70s radio look. And the units are running under $20 apiece, which is pretty cool. So again, if you're looking for an AM-FM shortwave radio receiver, the shortwave radio receiver, of course, being the solution to dealing with and listening in to either commercial broadcasts or private broadcasts. You don't have to be transmitting in order to pick up something guys. You can listen in, just patiently listen in, wait for the message. The chair is against the wall. John has a long mustache. And when you're done, you've got yourself a pretty straightforward solution for listening in and staying connected. It's one-sided because you don't need to give away your position. They're sending out from a major signal point. Get the message to you. Be like that. Anyway, one more thing here. Let's see if I can find that for you. Even as I found it, it was moved. It could be goofiness. I'm on the air training, 14 things at once. Anyway, one of the other options, and again, for the price you're talking a few dollars less, like what? About $10 less per unit. The CZE-7C 1 watt or 7 watt stereo FM transmitter. Now that one's in black, if you want it black and you're really hurting for black. It has to be a black hole radio or it just won't run. Well it could be the same one in silver and be the same price. No it has to be in black. Well, whatever the color is doesn't make any difference, but remember that again these little micro-FM's are the solution for immediate battery slash radio backup when things go bad. When they shut down the power, batteries coming up, your battery backup kicks in and your alternate communications is doing its job. Well, let's start planning on that. Let's make that happen. Let's not just look at it. We're going to have to start finishing these projects up and get them out of the way. are the same as with the gifting of the uh... micro uh... you know handheld am out you know transmitters vhf you a chef am fm test whatever you're gonna commit to whatever variation of the man there quite a few the big thing is here again get it done pick a direction fix on it make sure you buy spares victory by extras or start collecting all of the above specially uh... you know in light of what we're seeing with uh... the uh... East Coast and with what they're doing with the air border in general, things could accelerate very, very, very quickly. There won't be a surprise. None of us are going to be surprised. In fact, just reverse. Hold on. Yeah, we told you so. Yeah. We told you. Yeah, we told you about that too. And we told you about that. You see what I mean? In other words, it's a big yawn for all of us. Well, instead, we need to be getting onto the solutions agenda and not worrying about beating the gong anymore about, hey, it's been going on. It's happening. It's happening now. I think pretty well everybody can see that. Nickelback's latest album is really interesting because it pretty well covers a lot of the different subject matter and very much sounds like Paul from Poker Face and the guys that were there and of course in the studio as far as making the music happen. These guys are back full circle getting back into swing where they need to be and they're not ignoring the problem. So pretty cool. Tools of the broadcasting, the trade industry readily available and built by individuals who have patriotism in mind. You know, musicians. So, you don't have to go reinvent the wheel. We've got a lot of good people that are out there doing work too. Make a point of building up that radio collection if you're going to do that micro FM. Do your music radio collection for the station. Start collecting, categorizing, mapping it out, putting it where you can find it. One of the things that I do every day is I'm still sorting cassettes from two freebie boxes ago. I've got about three or four hundred of the cassettes. I try to match them back up, make sure they are in the proper case, make sure they are rewound or they are run once and then rewound and then put back in the case. You need to do that every once in a while with tapes and reel-to-reel cassette and 8-track. However, they will last a good long time just sitting there staring at you. But you can do things that are little tricks of the trade to circulate air, make sure they stay clean and the processor run by a decent machine. That way you've got music in more ways than one. Yeah, I know. Well, Mark, I've got CDs and piles of them. Good, have a CD player, but also have a cassette player. Have other technology on hand. You're going to do a micro-FM, you've got to be diversified. Okay? We are headed towards the top. Oh, no, already? Again, I would also mention I tried to get hold of one of the surplus companies where we do have A number of Polish radio and radiation detection and perhaps even some infrared night vision coming up here. We already had some that come in a couple months ago, three months ago, there's only a few pieces, but it did come in. The containers are opening up today, may have all of the above mentioned. We may get some chem suits in from another source, but so far, chem suits seem to be disappearing. I would also point out, and we're going to touch more on this, if you saw the From the Trenches Rule report story about firearms sales. Now, remember what I said? Well, Mark, I haven't heard anything in the news. Guys, we're looking at record sales right now for September. Okay? In addition to that, though, do you think if they bought a gun, they didn't buy ammo? Now, we have not caught up in ammunition reserves. We simply have a greater number of flavors available because everybody's been cranking stuff out. If everybody, which I believe has already been happening, is just not getting any discussion, if everybody starts really, really, really focusing again, like the next breather, which is where we are right now, there's a little bit of a breather, it's not much, but it's tiny, and then all of a sudden they just start the process in grand. With regard to purchasing arms and ammunition, well, we're not going to be able to keep up again. So be prepared for the Spartan period. Take advantage of the mag deals right now, especially on the AKs and ARs, if there's any. Also, if you bought any of those hand cannons, I know we're throwing so much stuff at you. Well, Mark, tell me to buy radios. Yes, and get them. Keep your spare magazines where you know where they are, but buy more. If all you can do is a magazine or two magazines a week or every other week, whatever it is, keep doing it. Spare mags, spare mags, spare mags. And if you have an orphan gun, you want to make sure that you're buying mags now and preferably firing pin extractor and ejector for the same reason. Okay. Anyway, just giving you a heads up on that. We are at the top of the hour. We are going to be hearing the music here in a moment. For all of our friends I do we hear it for everybody out there a second are coming up meanwhile pay attention if you're on the road those leaves are slick They're glued down with moisture that moisture is making that a film an organic film of debris Stop sooner check the road anyway to go back close to the top of this hour.
