They used the Casparoon clip, but they also, because they had to accommodate those revolvers, There is 45 Revolver, which is literally the 45 ACP with a rim to accommodate the revolvers. Now that's like chicken teeth to find now guys, but Remington and Winchester used to make it in force. That's how many of those pistols were out there. By the way, they kept making the guns after World War I and a lot of people bought them as the dirty, hairy guns of their day. This is a Mr. War Hottle 1917.
