Mark Koernke discussed the disappearance of first-generation green-screen night vision devices from the market, explaining the technical advantages of green versus white light displays and the implications for preparedness. He and Don analyzed inventory depletion of night vision equipment, the shift toward white-screen technology, and strategies for zeroing weapons with night vision sights. The show pivoted to criticism of Square payment processing systems, which began refusing transactions for firearms and ammunition sales, with Koernke advocating for cash-based transactions and consumer boycotts as resistance to government tracking and corporate censorship. He also addressed pricing comparisons between first and second-generation night vision equipment and their respective operational lifespans.

A figure walked in through the mist with a flintlock in his hand. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three-cornered hat and speaking low to me he said, We've fought a revolution to secure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations this legacy we gave. In this the land of the free and home of the brave. The freedoms we secured for you we hoped you'd always keep. But tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost, you're no more than a slave. In this the land of the free and home of the brave. You vie permits to travel and permits to own a gun. Permits to start a business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent, your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught according to the state. You read about the current news in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor of gold. You trade your wealth for paper so your life can be controlled. You pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken Satan's number. You've traded in your name. You've given government control to those who do you harm so they could burn down churches and seize the family farm. And keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail. Harash your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters visit doctors so their children won't be born. Your leaders send artillery and guns to foreign shores and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Can you regain the freedoms for which we fought and died? Or don't you have the courage or the faith to stand with pride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Or do you wish your children to live in fear and be a slave? Oh, sons of the Republic, arise. Take a stand. Defend the Constitution, the supreme law of the land. Preserve our great Republic and each God given right. And pray to God to keep the torch of freedom burning bright. As I awoke, he'd vanished in the mist for whence he came. His words were true. We are not free, but we have ourselves to blame. For even now as tyrants trample each God given right we only watch in tremble too afraid to stand and fight If he stood by your bedside in a dream while you were asleep and wondered what remains of the freedoms He fought to keep what would be your answer if he called out from the grave? and Many ants make the light work a million petticoat junction operators the ability to continue to function when everything else is off. I'll tell you it is a bit of beautiful day today, but I got that feeling we have rain coming in from the West only because of the way it's feeling and you know it's that air thing I'm out all day, and you can eventually start been a phenomenal day otherwise guys beautiful here in the southern What's the date today, sir? Well, I could say the same thing. Ditto on that day. It's intermittent cotton balls of cloud in the sky. And we have been subject to some chem trails here. Those ain't con trails if they don't go away. But that's the sky this afternoon, the 25th day of the day. September, the year of our Lord 2014. Beautiful day for this time of year. Hey, 20-30 days. Five more days at midnight. It's bow season in Michigan. Hey, it's getting to be that four-letter word. Some people don't like it, but some people like that break from the summer. But again, hey, we've got no choice. Why? 25th day of September. You can't back up a calendar. And why would you want to fast forward it? and again for everybody every week again and the month by the way too. Don, I want to start right. Yes, the knowledge we were running out of as we pointed out had somebody asked me a question about that because they were looking at other places and I was going to go out and pick up, fill in the blank, and one of the people, it was last night, the person by the way that listened, and he used to build one by it. It's just not their mouth when it's like how about they're not. Yeah. You know, that's the thing. So, Don, go ahead. Give everybody an update because we've been keeping everybody abreast of the inventories, but we just saw a whole category disappear again, didn't we? Exactly. You guys, when I found out about this at the beginning of the year, the next time I was on the air, I told you about it, and we brought and continued to hammer on this because the difference between green screen, a tactical color coming out of the eyepiece, the ocular side of a piece of night vision, compared to white light. Well, you need a lot more light discipline if you're getting white light out of that screen because that white light will make your face look on fire to another piece of night vision. That white light as a flash is a natural attractor to the naked eye, an eye unassisted by any mechanical night vision. You put that white light up for an instant and people tend to look at it not even knowing why. but they're subconscious and their brain says before they can even think about it. We've addressed this. Remember motion, shape, and color. We've addressed this many times, but light at night does the same thing. A match on the horizon, you look at it. A match in the tree line, you look at it. You're drawn to it. First generation in screen, we told you beginning of the year, hey, it'll be gone. The thought line then was, well, it'll be gone about the end of the year. But you know what, as soon as we started letting you know and talking about the aforementioned subject matter, again, green light on your face compared to white light on your face, you know that green light is almost exactly indiscernible to another piece of night vision. It just doesn't make it out. It's not in the ultraviolet and it's not in the infrared and it just kind of ladi-dazs right down there and the other end of the scale and says, you don't care about me, do you? But this is true. It goes over to what the devices are built to detect. Now, we talked about it disappearing and all of the first generation viewers in Green Screen are gone. The first generation gun sight in 2-power is gone. Why, it wasn't that long ago we told you we had 500 of the 2-power or rather the 3-power viewer and all of the 5-powers are gone now too. So the first generation green screen viewers are gone. We had just seemingly a flash of gold. Again, you can't back up the calendar. Just a month and a half ago, we had over 600 of the five powers and they're gone. Kabam boom, like a can rattling down the road. We told you about this and I don't mean to say nah nah or nothing, but we told you it was coming. We've crossed that bridge, you guys. If you're looking for a first generation viewer, In green screen, the only thing I can do is offer you a gun sight. You can hold a gun sight in your hand. It doesn't have to be on top of a gun, but if you use it as a viewer, you know you've got a multi-purpose device right there in your hand. But I would also suggest that if you have a gun sight, a night vision gun sight. Many of you probably have bought gun sights. I can't say the greater proportion because a lot of you call and say, man, I've been shooting this for a while. But if you bought a gun sight and you haven't put it on a gun yet and bought it to zero at night, that's kind of a hard thing to do when you're going down the road or when you're running through the woods or generally being chased or shot at. So it would be good to do that now. I just thought I'd put that out there in that particular manner, Mark. Because that's like the gun that you buy just in case and you lean the box with the gun in it in the closet. or you slide it up there into the attic through the trap door so no children can get it or anything, but you don't even know if that gun works yet. You're going to perhaps bet your life on it. Now that's a little bit of a jumping around from comparing one to another, but if you've got a gun sight, you should probably put it on a gun and bring it to zero. If you're worried about welding around the land with a gun sight, take it off and just use it as a viewer, but it already has that as long as you don't mess with the Elevation and windage, it'll have your zero when you put it back on your gun, probably within an inch at 100 yards depending on what your mounting system is. So that's just a little bit of advice there. I almost said caveat. It's not a warning, it's just a bit of advice. The warning is, green screen is going away in first generation and it's going to probably see the same thing across the board. It is as if the Russians don't want to build it or sell it anymore. Or they've got a whole different market. Now, we told you years ago, and this might be a factor in this because you know that we owe them China and a whole lot of money. Just before or just right around Y2K, Russians built, it was about three years before Y2K when we told you this, the Russians built a night vision factory for the Chinese. It was first generation. And the caution, this is another reason you don't see the Chinese green screen and this is what they were building, Chinese green screen. You don't see it for sale here, do you? So that means that tells me the big read there isn't it? You don't have to perk up too many brain cells to, you know, see this one. They're keeping it all in-house. It's not leaving at all. Is it going? At least every Chinese military will have at least a first-generation device in his pocket, at least. And we've addressed this over the years. But if we start to see the green screen from China, I would really be surprised to start to see Chinese... night vision tubes sold here. I would really be surprised, but it's not beyond the realm of I Ching ability there. Oh, I had to do that. It's not beyond possibility. But again, it seems to me like they're just moving it into the military left and right. At least every Chinaman will have a first generation device as a man. And theirs won't be white screen. Right, it will be green screen. Another point to be made. Thank you. So another thing to remember is that the analogy is presently being produced or seen produced in the industry. I believe because of something's going on behind the scenes where they've been threatened, and it doesn't mean the surplus isn't there. It is. Two things about mass production. Example, do you remember that? They were really lightweight and much smaller. Oh yeah. Well, the reason for that, and you notice how they opened up and what they did is because, well, what they were were the leftover chassis of the VHS cameras. Notice the size of the equipment. What did it do? It scaled down. What they did is they took the existing, or the extant, inventory that was out there and adapted it over for shelf use. And these machines didn't last as long. They are actually, you know, again, they weren't designed to be player or constant play replay units. Remember, a camera unit is a recording unit. And you might do a little surveying or a little editing on the camera, but 90% of it, once you use it for filming, it stops, and then another machine, a more sophisticated machine, is an actual operation. Well, remember that when they had this inventory of frames, you didn't get a little camera monitor with your VCR when you bought it, did you? Components went both ends, the system and heads up just that you have that little micro display that you look into the eyepiece and see. Now that little piece, that little micro television screen is what Don is talking about that they've shifted over to. I mean, when was the last time you saw them producing a black and white V8? Well, they didn't. We're talking decades. Anything that they're buying, which is relatively new but still old production, would be color. Has to be sensitized to a particular color range. You see what I mean? In other words, and the best example for anybody who's been around computers long enough, you know we bought a bunch of these and they had like 30 of them over at Republic Radio International. I used to get them for a dollar apiece. The R, the R, they were whatever brand, they were a couple different. IBM, they were... white monitors, but either in the front, on the bottom, on the left, or in the back, there's a switch. I could go from chromo gold, black and white. Oh, and what was that third color I could go to, Don? It was green. No kidding. Now, my point is that, how were they able to do that? Well, there's a little cannon in the back, and there's a, you know, again, with a proper additional circuitry, which is not a big deal, the hard way. You were able to switch from gold, chromo gold, like wearing yellow shooter sunglasses guys. So wearing, you know, two as black and white standard, a green. And the reason that they, they ought us for ease on the eyes. Think about it. If you're, if you're doing a lot of text, it's like, remember how, and now this goes older still. How many remember when we used to have like green or like a green screen base with a computer? It's why the chalkboard in the school is green. Yeah, exactly. And it also is quite, you know, the contrast is more than effective enough for the way the eye registers images, the light. The color, the matter is that unless they found something that I don't know anything about, those little monitors, those little units that are in those eyepieces have, because they are a microprocessor, were a manage anyway, think about it guys, the entire thing is actually a little micro version of your Admiral television that used to be in your front room. You ever thought about that? It's like talking about the Jensen's. Handheld. They brought it right down to so tiny that it's in an eyepiece and the entire fixture is kind of like, you know, in fact they've used it once or twice I've seen this where they were doing like the, you know, the droid type thing down where the guy is alive and they reach in with a little set of pickers, pull the guy's eye out. Long fixture behind it that's got all these connective guys. You know what that was that they showed you? It's the fixture we're talking about. if you think about the design of the little fixture that you have in that little VHS, we have a pilot and one, two of them need work. Do you know what the other two are? Part of them are the most, the foam padding for the eyepiece, everything we're talking about, the eyepyceps, they usually wear out just to get tired because they, you know, and the other end, they're the microphone covers, which just disintegrate. Oh, left and right. Yeah, it's like, it's like acid for blood, man. So anyway, The fact is that this technology is out there. It's going to happen. It's already happening. We need the edge up. This is where we seriously are going to be working on this. I've already talked to several people. We have to come up with a solution for that white screen because we are going to end up with it in our hands. It's going to be entry level night vision. That's what it's going to be. We have to figure out, now there's two things that can be done there, and here's the one that's really going to piss me off if we find this out. We're going to open up the dash, and we're going to look inside one of these less expensive units, and we're going to look to see if there isn't the same basic micro switch option with regard to the circuitry to do exactly what I'm talking about. And why was it turned to white? That's right. Why are we going to white when green makes sense? And part of this is just like, oh well here's an example, another piddly story, but it was covered by Henriette from the Trenches World Report dot com. And you may have already seen this, I think people have been throwing this around on Facebook already and the other social media, it's on Dig It, and I think I got something on Google of course. Anyway, oh my goodness, with an M16. Yeah, carry another one. Oh, and then there's Feinstein, she's got an M16. Now you got another M16. Anyway, what's interesting is the article, the credit card scandal, is deemed to be not part of the Communists. And something, huh? I'm trying to find it. Boy, I think he's been busy here, man. Well, Henry's been posting a whole lot of good stuff. Guys, always, when you go through From the Trenches World Report, if you think you need it, okay, here we go. For gun shop owners, it's no longer hip to be square. There's no place where anybody was told that this was happening. There was no one else but on this. And this is what I'm talking about with this night vision thing. This is what I wanted you to bring this up down. Now, it's white, it's square, and at one inch by one inch in diameter, it is the perfect accoutrement for any entrepreneur. It's quick capability and ultimate portability. The high tech square reader credit cards become an invaluable tool in today's economy. don't need it. But again, remember, don't leave them. Read that as another step toward a cashless society. Yeah, well, taxi drivers use it as do trade show vendors, online retailers, and home contractors. It is, as the company slogan says, a small credit card reader that offers big possibilities. Some of those big possibilities are apparently being foreclined. The Obama administration, somewhere around the same operation point, began pressuring banks to drop of agreement. Now listen to this. In an alert regarding a change of terms, Square Notified Vendors... You will not accept payments in connection with the following businesses or business activities. Sales of... for hardware and ammunition or weapons and other devices designed to cause physical injury. Do you know how I get around that guys? Every time I'd have a sale, it would be Fred's Shubbles and Shubbles. You know what I mean? And I'm serious about everybody out there listening. Anybody who's got this phone, but you just do it this... It was a $300 show. Why don't you just piss up? See, because why? There's no reason. You do not have to identify. Why? What's the point here? You know what I mean? In other words, well, you didn't tell us what you were really selling. You didn't tell me before I bought your rat stinking product that you were going to change the criteria of the business, did you? Right. Now we're doing typewriter service. Yeah, we got a great number of typewriters. $300 typewriters, $400 typewriters. You know, I even got some class 900 typewriters. Run the Sega typewriter card. Yeah. But people don't do that. It's like, hey, how much money for their stinking product? And how much money for their stinking rotten service? Now the other attitude I have is this. You're using this in the first place. Everybody needs to go, oh. You know what? We all just ought to dump this because that way they don't get our business. They don't need our money and they don't need our end. This way the government can't track it, can they? And cash is a wonderful thing, isn't it? Oh yeah. This is where we go the other way and everybody needs to do this more and more. I'm going to tell you something. It's like people here are going to say, I don't shop and I've not been in a Walmart until, you know, in what, 30 years, I had been in a Walmart twice, did I walk into and through and buy anything from Walmart. The only reason we did that, we were in a hurry. My dad, you know, we had to take care of our stay away any longer than this. And I got a feel for what's going on it. You know, but other than that, the very first time is two decades ago. It is Lanny, Michigan. Walked through the front door. High that I rekicked for 20 years. That's as much. I dirty their floors so that somebody had to sweep it. See how that works? Ash like this. And everybody needs to start bad mouthing. And you know how you do this with this garbage like this operation done? Did you hear about the guy the hell is money stolen using that square system? Yeah, he was scanning all this stuff and somebody used a trap and stole it right out of his system, out of his box. Apparently these characters knew it too and everybody should start talking that way about these. And you know what? He's all over the place. Due to them, sink their stinking boat. Oh, you know, I would never deal with them. You know what? A friend of mine lost a couple thousand dollars. and they won't, they won't, they'll say they're not responsible, it's not their fault somebody hacked their system, but they know about all the back doors and it was hacked and they stole the money. If you put your money in one of those stupid little things, you're wasting your resources and you know, you don't know who's gonna steal it and they don't care. In fact, they even laughed in court about it. You see how mean you can be? Why not? We're at war. War with these people. Yes. If you were dead tomorrow, yes. Are they trying to just, you know, to, again, what's common about this is Well, again, any number of different things where it's like, oh yeah, well we don't have any problem, you know, where you couldn't buy that, where it's like, oh wow, he hacked and chopped and killed the death and defamulated with that one real quick, etc, etc, etc. You know, the whole criteria here too is, again, because of a political activist agenda, find out who owns the company, make their life miserable. Find out who made this decision, make their life miserable. See, that's the problem, we're being too nice. We have force, we have numbers, use it. You know, for a million people, everybody on Facebook starts talking about these skanks, you know, with this square, okay, this scam, and then it would really, really, really, really, it's called Square Reader. You mean you didn't hear about the Square Reader, the effect that took place, and it's been going on all the time, but they don't want anybody to know because they're worried about their stock prices going down? We got a what? I have no use for these pigs. These fools will be the ones dancing on your grave if they can get the guns, if they can pull everything. These son of a butters think they're going to be on top of the pile, peeing in your face and on your back while they have you dig until you're dead. Or dig a short time and then they'll have one of their cronies put a bullet in you and you will be dead. Why? Because it's what's happened over and over throughout history. And that's how everybody better be thinking this up, you know, thinking this through. So there's an example because Again the technology did they tell anybody oh no they just out of the booth changed this very quietly and then Everybody tried to use their technology and they didn't you know what wait a minute they called up or we have a policy change But you did pay for the services now you are gonna refund my services because of what I do right to a trade show And I had people that were ready to do business, and I counted on your technology So I'm gonna sue you for a whole lot of business. Well should do it too. It doesn't work. I just bought four things they cost me like $3,000. You know what I mean? Because you're not paying for the technology. That's China's sports slave junk. I guarantee there's service charges and there's an operation charge. Oh, don't worry, there's fees too, right? Because, Dom, they don't handle money without charging people fees. They're damnable bankers, and I did say that. Can't do that. They're fingering every pie. But here again, that's why I'm saying, you have to come up with a solution on this night vision issue, not because of what Dom selling you because now I'm trying to get you the technology that's ready to go. But we have a next, we're going to be running into a lot of this stuff. Some people are going to buy it because they're trying to help. I've already seen this happen. They're buying stuff because they're not because they can go out into the field but either they can sponsor, they're buying stuff for the 510 program. It's like I told them, I said, well, think about what you got there. Now we've got to come up with this, it's going to just drop in our laps. Someone's going to be going, you know, I knew you guys, I knew this was coming and here I've got this for you. on everything they can. They were isolated or they were doing their own thing off to the side and you can't complain because they were there when you needed them. Now you've got to like know if you don't know how it works down we don't just turn it on do we? Oh no! Take it back to the guy. Well you should have never turned it on because we could have really used this. In the first place. Wow and you left the lens covers off didn't you? Yeah that's another one. The other thing is some devices you guys The white screen from ATN, it's first glance hard to tell which side goes forward, particularly if you're not familiar with these things and night vision at all. It's hard to tell. People pick it up and move the wrong end. Now if you were to pick up some things and turn it on and look through the wrong end, you might lose that eye in an instant. Can you say laser, targetter? You might find one or two of those on a battlefield someday. They might fall out of the sky. If it survives the impact, then you turn it on and you're looking the wrong way because the emitter side looks just like the focal side. uh... it intelligently is get other people to go in on this project to get a couple of people in your unit uh... if you have to go in together to get the people outfitted the rest of the way with at least some form of weapons i would recommend doing it i mean you're gonna have to figure out how to make it work so everybody satisfied pre-people need to make sure they get paid back but with the volume that's going out the door and the level the word is out the way it in a in a lot of kind of like a like a Yeah, it's like a flood. It's on the flats and then it hits that ridge and there's another drop and more energy that's applied. The whole nine yards need to be thinking about with regard to sales. The word is out. The other thing is that second gen obviously is still going to be available, but let's remember what the price jump is. Well, again, I could offer a first generation gun sight, you guys, well below the manufacturer's retail at $390 at 4 power. The manufacturer wants $449 and if the first time you call him, if he can get $479 out of it, because that's the first number he puts on the table and you bite on that, that's what they'll take from you. Then they'll get delivery beyond that. This device will go in your mailbox for $390. That's everything. Now, when you look to... That's a gun sight. That's a .308 capable, four power, first generation gun sight. When you go to second generation, and we've talked about this before, the biggest step up in light amplification is from first unto second generation. put a second generation gun site in your mailbox at 2POWER. 308 capable. Live on top of your M1 or your AR10, your FN. Just, hey, I'm happy to be here and you can't hurt me with recoil, kind of thought line in this gun site. 1248 bucks. Now, man, I know that's almost, that's just, you know, 3 blinks of an eye short of another $1000. That's what it amounts to. 3 blinks of an eye short of another $1000. But let's do this, that first generation gun sight is going to bet tube and it's going to last about $1,500. $1,617 if you really treat it good. Don't point it at tail lights or headlights or the moon or a fire. Try to keep your exposure to even porch lights and street lights down. Rather a second generation tube right now is minimum of 5,000 hours. So you look at lifetime and you look at what you're spending on it. You go back over to the reference that There's 1500 and 3000 and 4500. Well, you've got almost better than four times the life, rather three times the life of that first generation device. You also have much greater light amplification. We've done it in this sort of... It's hard to purvey the thought line of dealing with light levels in a radio, in an audio world. But if you've got a full moon in the sky, you're going to be happy with first, second, third, fourth generation. You're just going, oh man, I really like this. And all of your ranges on all of the aforementioned devices will be at their maximum. A first generation device with a clear, distinguished background compared to a target, you'd be able to target to 150, perhaps 250 yards, depending on the contrast of the target to its background. I'm talking a standing man. By the time that moon is to half a moon, that range is going to be down to about 100 yards. By the time that moon is gone, you've still got stars in the sky. That first generation device will produce an image for you, but it will only be really good and legible. It will be really clear to about maybe 40 or 50 yards. You turn on your illuminator and you've got that 100 yards back because, well, ATN offers the biggest, most powerful illuminator that is really an illuminator. to the civilian world. You can go with other things, but basically let's put a lens on this cover here, on this white light. Now there's things to be said about that, but we'll talk about that in a little while. Again, the biggest step up in performance is from first to second generation. I can run out a second generation viewer that the manufacturer says you can use some I'll say it just like this in my opinion, some goofy devices to hold this device in front of your daylight scope behind your daylight scope. Now if you hold this device mounted on your gun, you're going to need a pretty long rail. You have your eye relief on a daylight scope. Sometimes it's like 2.5. If you're shooting a .50, you probably like about 4 inches of eye relief. This device in front of your daylight scope and they say by doing that you won't change your zero and you can just take it off and you still have your daylight zero. There are some cool things about it, but you have that green light on your face, that wash. Again, it's barely perceptible, hardly even seen on a night vision device, but it will stand out to the human eye if they're looking at it. What's that, a goblin back there? If you're just at the edge of the brush and they just happen to look right at it, it will stand out to the human eye. a little bit of an eerie look. Again, a little bit of green face over there. Is that a zombie or what? At any rate, it's a lot better than white light. We've addressed this before. But when you put the same device, the second generation viewer, behind your daylight scope, well, it gives you real awkward, your eye relief comes about one third the way. Please stand by while we try to reconnect. Place the flag, son. Read what's written there. The history, the progress. the heritage we share. Our flag reflects the past son, but stands for so much more. In this age of Aquarius, it still flies in the fold. It leads the forward movement, shared by all mankind, to learn, to love, to live with peace of mind. To learn the mysteries of space as well as those of Earth. To love each man for what he is, regardless of his birth. To live without the fear of reprisal or belief. To ease the tensions of a world that cries out for relief. Face the flag of silent violence. Face the flag son. Take a good long look. What you're seeing now can't be found in a history book. It's the present. The future son. It's being written now. You're the one to write it. The flag can show you how. You know what it stands for? What its makers meant? Think, speak, privilege of dissent. To think our leaders might be wrong to stand and tell themselves. These are the things that other men under other flags will never know. But responsibility, that's the cross that free men must bear. If you don't accept that, freedom isn't there. Face the flag, son, and face reality. Our strength and our freedoms are based in unity. Flag is but a symbol, son. The world's greatest nation. As long as it keeps flying, there's cause versus celebration. So do what you gotta do, but always keep in mind. A lot of people believe in peace, but there are the other kind. We wanna keep these freedoms. We have to fight again, God forbid. But if we do, let's always fight to win. The fate of a loser is futile, it's fair. No love, no peace. Just misery is fair. Face the flag, son, and thank God it's still there.
