Summary
Mark Koernke discussed firearm maintenance, inspection, and restoration techniques for older rifles, particularly focusing on Mosin-Nagants, Mausers, and Carcano carbines. He covered barrel crown inspection, re-crowning procedures, cleaning rod safety, and ammunition testing methods. The show featured a caller (Bill from Texas) asking about weapons testing, and Koernke announced a fundraising drawing for a 1941 Carcano 6.5 carbine with bayonet to support the Micro Effect, scheduled for October 3rd. He also discussed the Colorado theater shooting lawsuit against ammunition retailers and addressed concerns about electronically controlled firearms and government overreach.

That'd be great! Perfect. That's how it's done. His clothes were torn and dirty as he stood there by my bed. He took off his three cornered hat and speaking low to me and brought a revolution to cure our liberty. We wrote the Constitution as a shield from tyranny. For future generations, this legacy we gave. In this, the land freedoms we secured for you, we hoped you'd always keep. Tyrants labored endlessly while your parents were asleep. Your freedom's gone, your courage lost. You're no more than a slave, the free. You buy permits to travel and permits to own a gun. It's the start of business or to build a place for one. On land that you believe you own, you pay a yearly rent. Although you have no voice in saying how the money's spent. Your children must attend a school that doesn't educate, and your Christian values can't be taught. You read about the current use in a regulated press, and you pay a tax you do not owe to please the IRS. Your money is no longer made of silver nor gold. You trade your wealth for paper, so your life can be controlled. Pay for crimes that make our nation turn from God and shame. You've taken, you've given government control to those who do you harm, so they could burn down churches and feed farms and keep our country deep in debt. Put men of God in jail, harass your fellow countrymen while corrupted courts prevail. Your public servants don't uphold the solemn oaths they've sworn. And your daughters, visitors send artillery and guns to foreign shores, and send your sons to slaughter fighting other people's wars. Maintain the freedoms for which we fought and died. Or don't you have the courage or the faith to ride? And are there no more values for which you'll fight to save? Guns of the Republic arise. Defend the Constitution to supreme law of the land. Preserve our great republic and each god-given right. And I'm Joe McNeil. North-eastern talk radio dot com, escrow stations, CB base stations, and ultra hallmark and golden spike technologies across the United West with a song with, which probably has a little glimmer of blue-fouling. Dear of our Lord 2014, flight meet breezy, very funny, uh, beautiful day. We'll probably get up into the low 60s, uh, a little bit cold for this year, but hey, you don't hear me complaining, it's just the index thing, you know, hey, How about that thermal pop? Sure comes in handy today. You know, today that's the strike down the middle of the week and I hold it in one hand to my trophy. 9-11, I got it paused, bless John Moses Browning. And in the other, I don't know if that was an original Browning idea. I have to do a little bit of research there. But hey, interdense magazine welting the slide release. We've got one in the chamber now and that's... reinforces the fact that we can tell you it's weapons once the perimeter is secure and you know there's plenty more where that came from. We could now offer eager opportunity, coercive, brought a stick, brought a knife, I have a gun. Yeah, this is gonna be really bad for you. Here's the one thing, as we get older, we are probably gonna use the guns faster because I don't want to get broken you because you decided you want to get close enough to hurt me and that means you probably were thinking about killing me and then you can talk later about after the fact, well, I'll make you sorry first and that way we don't have to worry about it properly. That is a point. You know, we talk about, you know, long in the twos, the years going by and everything. My next birthday, as hard as I could when I was 25 or 30, I might break those flanges there, those bones between my knuckle and my wrist. Because over time, calcium just tends to not hang around in the right places and coffee doesn't do that any good either, but my share of coffee. I can tell you there's one of those bones. Knuckle there is bent down finger just a little bit. It might be that way for the rest of my life. I just asked when I was like, just the difference between someone like looking at your forehand, pointing right at your forehead, so slightly to look at the bottom. And a little bit of difference in angle of the opponent's head. Strange how little say the reminders of them sometimes. I'm talking my 12 gauge there, nobody was paying attention. Oh, I heard. And say, what are you talking about? That's a power cleaner. That's an attention getter when a crowd doesn't want to listen. That's the open the door when I want to walk out, you know. Keep it handy right here. It only reinforces the freight. Sometimes you want to make them bleed over there. Instead of don't tread on me, we should change it to don't bleed on me. Yeah. Keep them in a distance. The big thing here again with both these weapons, the shotgun and the .45, is that they are again close to 50 to 100 yards comfortably. You just heard. And that shotgun will be 200 yards with the same area. As a matter of how you look at it, see the world has changed because of cool technology improvements. And where they apply, we should apply them. But remember that the 12 gauge in close range, it just kind of breaks up the crowd. You know, again, there's something in the hallway or trying to come through the door that's just gonna get hit. And if you know what you're doing with that 12 gauge, it'll serve you in all directions. And again, remember, reload, reload, reload. The nice thing about a shotgun, and whenever you fire the gun, you immediately top it off. Immediately top it off. I've never been to anything with a magazine. Okay, one thing I do like, and to get these, you gotta think a little more in-house. I actually have a short one with a bull barrel on it. No need to cheat. the issue. That shotgun that we're talking about, that 45, we're not going to go in the closet. The 45, the slower velocity round guys, mine doesn't a lot of check. So it's going to do a good job of delivering energy. That shotgun, just like I said, with Sabo, for that matter, with a good heavy charge, piece of equipment, chunks out of metal to, you know, take and shoot whatever it is that might be in front of you. I prefer heavy caliber, especially knowing where I'm going in the battlefield. If it's, you know, Emeroy, Nemato, whatever it is coming down range. That's the big thing they're trying to do now. All the weasers are to try and make you go, whoa, on the cheetah, which remember we've talked about. Eventually that's going to get over into the, at least going to pay for it to buy it to make it work. You'll get out in the field to work it. It's going to work well. First of all, with microwaves, that's one thing I want to remind everybody. If it's electronic, it runs on microchips and microprocessors. The processor and the technology, the easier it is to just shield anything that's microelectronic to save it. If they wanted to build a budget, they'd have to be tugging along something like a semi-trailer behind them. It looks really mean! Yes, and it will die just as quick if you know what you're doing. In fact, it's not even exciting. There were people discussing this, I was looking at the conversation, some people got the right idea. That's first of all, it needs to be done. Big projectiles, it's kind of different. Okay. But remember, it doesn't have to be exciting or even make any noise, except for maybe a good point out, your idea is carrying all kinds of stuff that's really super blunder tech. You know, they've got radios, these that they want to use, like, you know, for instance, electronically controlled handguns. I hope they microwave their artists. In order for it to get into that handgun, it's got to be ultra-fine, ultra-light micro- You need another bank of generators. It was something, well, nobody else can use it but me. No, that's a lot of injuries. Nobody else can use it but me, or they're trying to tell you, I know, Joe, you probably saw this, Don, you only last couple days about the kids. The fingerprint-running handgun thing, they were trying to push the- to get rid of everybody's guns by making them all electronically activated, right? Yes. To do that, I think that they should. If the idiot liberals want to think that they should. Why? Because others stand back at 100 yards and go... And you hear the cry from the other side. ...guns don't run on electricity. The point to be made, I hope by... The more complicated the plumbing, the easier it is. Remember Scotty, Star Trek? My favorite line that he ever came up with there. It's basically what we're talking about. Well, another thing that I might interject, Mark, when you talk about, this only brings up sounds basic rule about big bikes and handguns. You know, you don't want to ride a motorcycle. You don't want to be riding around someone to come along a motorcycle. He might help you pick up your motorcycle and knock you on the head and then your bike would. So again, it's good to be able to pick up your own motorcycle. Now, moving over to the handgun side, you don't want to carry a handgun that you can't control, that you can't bring back to target immediately and, you know, went down range. That's a gimme, you guys. We talk about, well, we talk about in 25s also. In 32 devices, but you guys, when a nine year old and who's... You know, I don't do that. Did you see the film of family? You talking about the girl that shot her instructor? Yeah. Did you see the film? family released yesterday. The problem with everybody yapping about this, the liberals were going to yap on this no matter what. It's only because they could engineer it. Here's the thing, and I'll point this. I was trying to teach that young person how to I have a mini bike, take a ball, you know the instructor was here, but how many times have the children been killed? And do you hear people going, my God, my brother was killed in that Ford Mustang! I'll make sure there's never a Ford. Again, my mission in life will be to bad. You see, this is what's stupid about this, and that's why I don't respect these people anymore. I don't see anybody... Well, yeah, here's the thing. They're gonna ticket you today, right now. You go out on the road, you're gonna get ticketed for 56 miles an hour. supposed to be doing 55, okay? And then you can go right now, and there's a series of, have you seen all these Ford ads guys that are made like action movies? It's a 200 mile an hour car. Should we be allowed, see, whenever they do the thing with water, should be 100 miles an hour. I think that's 200 miles an hour. Or even at 100 miles an hour. See, there's a problem with this, and this is where we forget what the communist agenda is. Until they get those, they can't do what they would say to their actor. Everything private that you own. That's it. buy into this idea that this is the excuse, oh how could you let this all grain, I had to kill that grain. You know, you're bringing to mind a conversation I just had the other day with a friend of mine. He needed some tires for his pickup. And I don't think he's got an account with Costco or his less swab, somebody, whatever. So anyway, we're going to take the pickup down and put an oversized tire. They're like 30 inch, we want to put 31, 32 inch. for reasons of, you know, hill climbing and this kind of thing. And what he's telling me is that they won't put the tires, those tires on the truck because this company policy, they have to put on what's required, you know, what it came from the manufacturer with. And I'm sitting there thinking, whoa, man, aren't they there to sell tires? And now they're going to tell you what you can buy? Yeah, or what you can put on your vehicle? Yeah, I mean, we're in the hellasest world going to, man. If you walk into a store you tell look I want to buy some time Well, you can't have that size because you have this so you have to go with this size No, I want those tires on those rims. Oh, we can't do this company policy won't allow us do that You know it goes back to that policy thing. We were talking about all these little policies. They have everywhere Why do you have those rims and tires on the shelf? Yeah, hey, we got a caller waiting online. We got bill in Texas here. Good morning, Bill Good morning guys. Good morning. Well since it's wet in the day. I have a If you wanted to test some MOS in the GOTS to see how on the end of it, would you do some kind of mounted to something rigid? There are fixtures that you can buy, because I think even they can kind of support versions now. You can buy what is basically a rifle bench vise that allows you to actually rest it completely and test fire. It allows you to print the paper more accurately at 50 or 100 yards. You can also even get chronographs that are fairly cheap, which if you're testing enough weapons, chronograph you run under $100 I think as little as $62 for a nice little chronograph. Print the gun for energy and you can also print it on paper by bagging the gun. Make yourself a couple of nice clean sandbags and you know you only sheath them on the outside of something. You know put the sandbag and one sandbag together bag it in another bag on the bench and rest the gun in as stable a posture as possible. and then watch to see if somebody do a spot for you or again, print it with a camera. You can even go to the point now where you can put the camera down range wide. I've done that before many times. Put the camera on the paper and have it sending back to a unit so that you don't even have to worry about optics. You could have a screen at your end and a camera at the other end sending and you can watch the bullet hit. We don't send everybody else to watch the bullet when you cut paper. Now, the first thing I would do though, here's the basic rule, and you know, thanks for bringing this up. When you're going through the gun shows, you're going to run into a lot of pile of guns. Like, nagots, SKS's, AKs that are used. Not so much AKs that are used right now, because a lot of stuff is brand new barrels because they're cutting the barrels up. We will regret that in the long run, because if they've been sewing us used barrels, we might have a few swingers here and there. But now we're putting brand new barrels in all of our guns, so they're going to be a lot more accurate and they won't have any problems. If you're looking at nagots or mousers or whatever, first look at the crown of the barrel. Now, if you see chips around the crown, and that's on the inside especially, is what you're worried about, then you're going to probably have an issue with some, you know, fliers, and more with a weapon printing in a particular way. So you want to look to see how worn the crown is. Is it rounded or oval-ed out? And I'm not exaggerating when I say oval, because a lot of these mousers that came in from China literally had, because they've been cleaned and fired so many times, And when you start cleaning it, and then it's not real heavy, heavy metals, not real good. What happens is it starts to take a set where you guys use in the cleaning rod back and forth, back and forth, and it wears. That creates a change in the print, so you get fliers. That's the first thing you do is inspect it to see how tired or how crisp the crown is. You buy the weapon, any day, or especially if it's cheap, somebody gave you a rifle and it looks like it's used to fire. Remember that you can, if you fire it, you see that your print's pretty wide. You can have the thing, uh, the crown back. Basically the guy can do, a tool and diamond can do this for you just as easily because he'll know what I'm talking about. What you do is you literally, you don't just re-crown the whole barrel. You simply re-crown internally and cut a quarter of an inch into the rifling. And now you have a crisp, consistent release all the way around the rifling. And a rim? You're protecting it. Long rim will protect it that much more. Exactly. Don't cut the barrel back. Same length. You go deeper into the internal part of the barrel. And that barrel will be good for another 20, 30, 40,000 rounds. The nagots are very, very, very much, shall we say, friendly to this, because they're crude potato guns. Russians made really crude, really nice deep rifling. So when you backset the on a nagot, I mean, my god, she probably would be good for the rest of her life. Another story that in service, if she's a tired gun, probably for her wealth, since World War II or a little bit for her, that weapon will probably be good for her. He now sets for the rest of its existence, you know, until he's making a true wall-hanger. And that may never happen, because those suckers, I think, will be around for another hundred years. Let's mix in that earlier thought, Mark. You guys, if you're trying to figure out why a gun, you know, that might be the bullet that was seen with all of the others, so to speak. Over here. But a chronograph can help. I met a friend that was a gunsmith, and he kept a shoe box on the counter of all these rifles with like about a half inch. the front of the barrel, he would always use a cloth one if you know what I'm referring to. Oh, we've brought this argument to the table. I know some people who will not have, even if it's brass, matter their handgun or their rifle. That's a, you know, determinable thing. You guys, when you use jacketed bullets, you have to use an ammonia base or something that's going to strip that. Now, why would you put it in there too, when you're putting something in there that's supposed to eat that up? That's the argument for the people who use the synthetic brushes. Not to mention metal on metal. It says if you do use a cleaning rod, go up the floor guides themselves. Like with the Nagots, in fact even the Nagots, they made the cleaning kits but it's your hard fish, you've got to go buy them specifically. Remember they have a wraparound site guide and there actually is a barrel protector for guiding the rod. Go for that just like the SKS and the AK. The cap on the cleaning kit is supposed to go on. the sight over the end of the barrel as a guide so that you don't wear down the edges of the barrel in the process. The old pop metal is the cleaning kit is made out of this is what wears out. Good point, thanks for bringing it up by the way Bill, that's something we needed to address because there's a lot of older weapons out there and we're not going to throw them away, we just got to know how to tighten them up. We're at the bottom. Bill, you want to hang around to the other side? No, I'm going to work, I got to get back. You're proccing good thought, Jim, thank you. Thank you. We gotta go to break you guys. You know how it works. Yes we do. And you want to be here after this break I promise. Okay great. We'll be right back. Now you can feel that squeaky clean sensation like none other with... Okay, I want to make this announcement here this morning folks. As you know, we've been plugging along and you know, I bought some time on the satellite feed. We're plugging along with that. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, we have had donated for the purpose of helping raise funds for the micro effect. A 1941 Cartino Cardbean 6.5 bolt action rifle with a bayonet. So, Some of you aren't familiar with that weapon, I suppose, and you might call it the Kennedy Killer or I suppose it did. But this is a Cortino carbine 6.5 bolt action with a bayonet. And we're going to have a drawing for it on the 3rd of October. Okay? So you need to start getting your entries in now. You know a little bit about the rifle there, Dodd, Mark, you want to talk a little bit about it or? 0.5, cargo, and also we were also built with 7.35, that was the later cartridge. They went back to 695. M1939 rifle. Remember that like the poison, they got General Nake as the original Kirkano size range of a K98 Mauser. The Man Mature magazine is the guide from the top round and then you continue to load rounds in front of the magazine. Forgive me, the bottom of the stripper guide pushes out. When you use an intelligent design on the same system, the six round stripper clips are convenient because all angles in one would like block, load the weapon, pack, I'm looking at that. Now there's two versions now one is the car with the short short carvings. Yeah It's a shorter one with the vein that you flip it up and lock it in okay Well, that's now that's not me that is the same design as far as the basic design shorter barrel Rifle, it's the m19 39. They fixed that end. So that's a smart little that's even smaller still and they did make a smaller one Which was a cadet version of that weapon, which is tinier still 6.5 Carcano. This is a standard 6.5 Carcano rifle. The smallest configuration you'll find is quite like carrying around a Car-15. Very small by comparison. Into tight locations and it's kind of handy to have that little poke on that it flips up and stick things if they're a little too close. Basic concept for shorter barrel. I'm sure a lot shorter barrel. And again, a not very tall is barely streamlined. In fact, very streamlined so it can fit into a lot of tight places. I'm trying to think of a size, I guess it would compare to like a Bushmaster or an AR as far as length, wouldn't you say? Yeah, about that. These are a small firearm. Usually when you get Carcanos in lumps, about 20% would be the Armato Model B, which was originally this gun was issued to elite mechanized troops with the Italian army if they hit the enemy, because we're kind of left. That weapon was typically issued firearms in North Africa. a lot of the guys with the pit helmets with the plume side of their helmet, groups with the Italian army, and they were good fighters, despite all the other chokes. Amazingly after our Italian units said, well, they killed a lot of people, and they fought with this weapon in hand. See pictures of it to give you a better idea if you punch in the Italian Carcano. Probably we can find real quick here. See that? I'm sure they have a picture. Again, you're looking at the folding bayonet model. Now, the reason I asked that is because Regular detachable bayonet is actually worth pretty good money if it's with the regular rifle, Model 39. There's where we can find the bayonets. Remember, sometimes the bayonets are more expensive than the weapons. A comforting thought. In 1939, you have to understand that it was not involved in the nursing. Guys and spirits can't actually beat a modern army. So, though, when in fact the reason these carcass are still showing... Well, if you do a quick survey, there's some guy that's done a chromed up model of the rifle we're talking about. If you do a quick google search, do images for a carcano rifle, you will see one that's on a bag and again it will give you a feel for the sight in the short carbean model. So remember your little show she's going to have a little more of a pop in the end when you pull the trigger. But as far as a stowable rifle like for an over the shoulder gun to carry out, I've had a lot of carcans. Yeah, you know, a stash in a truck or to put you know like again as a weapon in a cache, remember you're going to want to put You've got to have the stripper clips with the gun. I can't emphasize that enough. Some pictures showing this going into the weapon. You need the stripper clip weapon because otherwise it's a single shot rifle, which is not a problem. Because I'm not going to go blazing away at somebody with this. I would be using this as, again, a place rifle. It's, again, a good defensive gun. Not really super smaller people that want to be trained with weapons. We used to take these out because Caracano ammo was cheap, cheap, cheap, and this is how I trained a lot of people to use light rifles. You get them on something that is unique and then remind them, well this is the weapon that supposedly Lee Harvey Oswald used, which I think was BS, because of the way the weapon was configured, that they claim he used. But the Carcano, typically you'll find them whenever you find a clutch of firearms, you'll find that typically there's a few Carcanos in with a family of weapons that have been over the years, especially with a grant for collections. They are a good firearm. I mean, first of all, remember that after World War II, the Italian government still had to use a weapon in service. You know, stayed in service with the police until, I think they were even in service until the 90s. They still had them in reserves. The weapon has been around for a long time and it didn't get tossed away simply as a combination of national pride already paid for. In other words, once you buy it, you might as well keep using it. And convenient, convenient. Another thing to remember, if you want something where you can bring it in close to service pass, it'll work. a good opportunity but if you're going to, when you do get it, buy more ammo and right now you can buy fresh ammo. Size enough even if you're not going to get this one in the auction, you know, for give me in the drawing, if you're going to be, if you have these weapons in service, right, to buy ammo for them. I don't know, the 6.5 Dutch, right now the 3B Partizan ammo is coming in and it was built this year, means it's going to be long, long time, Swiss 7.5, just a general lookout Also, give us more about the drawings. How can we get involved and what can we do to participate, Joe? Yes. If you'd like to get in on the drawings, again, it's always a $5 minimum contribution to the micro effect. You could even have five times a dollar for entry after that and no limit on how many entries you make. Once again, this has been donated to the micro effect for the reason of helping us raise funds. And we'll have that drawing on October 3rd, which is three weeks away. Okay. October 3rd, so 888-747-1968 or simply if you'd like to make a contribution, a donation folks who still need and need a funds. You can make an entry into the drawing. Get a subscription to the archives via t-shirt, make a donation, keep the micro effect on the air. 888-747-1968. You can go to the front of the website or you can still mail us at PO Box 164. Kamiite Idaho 83536 and for those of you who I don't know what people have out there for Their little laundry list of weapons or what have you this would this would be a good little addition. I can assure you By the way, there's a couple of pictures where somebody is taking a heart what I'm talking about here The pretty part is on ammo as the only thing they've done is they've taken that rifle and they've cut off do that But when they built the into account I mean, remember that they already took into consideration the, especially, they had to test it with and without the BAN-ET. And leaving the BAN-ET on is not a bad thing, just leave it full. This might have a little pig stick around the end, I don't care what anybody says. BAN-ET, BAN-ET, BAN-ET. Why? It's a nice friendly thing, it's on your side. Remember that they already took into consideration that BAN-ET fixture on the weapon for center of aim and for point of impact. So that weapon will function just fine with the folding BAN-ET on Don't get rid of it. Don't, you know, don't face the weapon. There's some things you don't want to remove for the same time. Yeah, it's also again, again, there aren't any more being made. Passing year, this will appreciate in value just like every... Used to buy 45, 70 trap doors for $24 apiece. My brother tried to kick me in the rumpus when I was small. You know, save up your bottle money and buy one every couple of weeks. And I didn't do that. Way in $4,000 a bean that we used to buy for, you know, what? $20 there. There's a situation where, again, this is an opportunity, you're supporting the micro effect, and you can build this weapon up. Slings are available, I'll build a brand new one for it. I wouldn't even put a scope on it, I'd leave it as is, I know there's a lot of people with a scope to the rear of the front. For what it was designed to do, it's not designed to be a long range sniper rifle, it's a utility field gun. Are you treated, it's in that niche in the Gulf Bank. It also goes nicely into, like I said, a cache with a lot of ammo and stripper guns. ready to go. The magazine clip on fire. Some of our mafia friends down the road were good old Jimmy Hoffa and all the boys. We used to shoot just down the road. God rest his soul, he's gone now. Used to build the basic rifle. You can imagine. And they took that gun and pressed it to the limits. And they would brag up the other bit. It was a national pride thing for the Italian mafia. Yeah. They're gonna kill people. They're killing people if nothing else. And that's by pulling the trigger and shooting those people over. It did work, and they wouldn't be building it if it didn't work. You get the drift, all the jokes and snide comments. Mercado is just as lethal as any other firearm out there. It's nuances and again, how to make it perform. Rifling, very strong rifle, and not gonna wear out right away. You're nay gods that you get bragging up because they're a good rifle. The extra lubricating, that firing was the last time it was probably disassembled. You might probably never disassemble that bolt. metal that are cut into, remember there's a groove that's cut into the bolt. That extractor has to move back and forth in that little valve. You don't make a point of at least putting some penetrating oil, take that bolt out with some penetrating oil in there for a few days. And then work it a little bit. Now don't go crazy, but then work the end of that extractor the way it's supposed to move, because it's actually a piece of spring metal by itself. It was made of high carbon steel, and it's designed once it's tempered to meet a certain spring guide, you know, temper. And what they do is they insert that in that flex. Well guess what, if it runs between, at some point it's gonna go snap, and then you're gonna have a very much more difficult to operate single shot rifle. When you pull it out, it'll just sit there at the end of the bolt. You gotta reach in and finger it out. You just have to do its job. Yeah, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Well, but I gotta keep doing this because I wanna keep shooting people because I'm defending myself and I'm using this rifle and I can't reach another one right now. Your finger becomes the extractor. So again, I don't care what it is, no matter what rifle it is, pay attention to that bolt group because that bolt group makes that weapon work. And all of the military weapons and your civilian weapons, you're probably not doing proper maintenance on those extractors on the ejector and that weapon, like I said, it'll be around for another hundred years. This Carcano is a very simple design. It'll be around for another 100 years because it's modern steel. Typically the sargenes were made, although they aren't middle product, these were made in the early stages or even pre-war. So the metallurgy is very good. The finish of the stock is linseed oil, although many of them were lacquer finished. And you're also going to find the laminate. They actually made some laminate stocks like they did for the K98 Mausers. The only funny thing about this, most people don't know, is that the Carcassos were picked up by the Germans. And in many cases they were used on the Eastern Front. auxiliary firearms for certain units because the Italians were on the Eastern Front too. And where the Italians were, they tried to center these weapons. At the end of the war, a lot of them were elected up just like many other weapons from the other occupied countries and they were pressed to the country towards the end of the war. Not just the Italians, who's the kirikano? You guys catch these theater shooting victims' parents pursuing the ammo sellers? Oh, don't kidding. Oh yeah, the parents of the women killed at the Colorado theater shootings. followed lawsuit Tuesday accusing four online retailers for improperly selling ammunition, tear gas and high capacity magazines, and body armor used in the attack. The lawsuit alleges it was illegal and negligent to sell the gear to James Holmes, who was accused of killing 12 people and injuring some 70 in the July 20th, 2012 attack. It says companies had no safeguards to keep dangerous people from buying their goods. I don't know man, well they certainly are not going to bring their daughter back and I suppose they might as well make some money off of her death or something or maybe there's a lawyer involved here. There's an ambulance chaser. It was highly foreseeable to the defendants that their potential customers included persons with criminal intent, including persons such as James Holmes. The suit was filed by Sandy and Lonnie Phillips of San Antonio whose daughter Jessica was among the dead. We are putting them on notice. Lonnie Phillips said to the dudes conference in Denver, we're coming after you. Okay, so if you sell a Twinkie to somebody and they managed to kill somebody with that Twinkie, look out Twinkie people. Oh, like I said, how many dealerships have sold to people that have This is where again the logic is to me again the individual is not responsible, but the individual. Yeah, the products that they had was responsible, the people that made the products, but not the individual that actually committed the car. You can go to the store and buy a nail gun and use it for whatever. You can, I don't know, buy a golf club and beat somebody. Hey, who manufactured that last car that accidentally And before we move well up to the top, but you guys met Carcano, if you download it, Mark, you're not gonna have any problems pouring bullets for that either, are you? Well, you can cast bullets off. And what he did is he took, he swear you were into the 95 bullets, just taking the long barrel, Model 91, knowing what to do. And it's not just, every machine that got out there can be brought to the end degree of performance. And the 6.5 Carcano, 6.5, any of these boat guns, lend themselves to cast bullet production on a regular basis. So you can use red sinkers, anything you got to put a bullet for that rifle. It's just a bolt action. So easy, is there any more to this? And in fact, a little hint there, we put a Model 91. That basic action goes back to virtually rifles, which I used to get for all over the place here for like $11. Man, they're built like a brick, and they were converted. We'll find even older weapons in that cartridge. We're at the top, gentlemen. All right, good. Well, anyway, get into the, uh, get into the, uh... a lot of fun and you'll learn things in the process as you develop your skills with these weapons. Also, we'll say a few more items into the mix as we go for the drawing. Working on that right now, including the radio. We're working on a radio, something that somebody asked, can we do this? Yeah, we can. We're going to put a NOAA radio in there, a CB with 300 extra frequencies maybe. I've got somebody working on building a number of them and we're going to offer one of those perhaps in the drawing. Because we've got to the 3rd of October, thank God. This is me time and for everybody out there down make this year available just a minute that number two three one seven nine six eight four five eight And roll some of those rails if we cannot sit Joe so he has one in hand if we could talk to him without using a phone I've done it before by the way just down the road from you is where other gentlemen has the radios that we're doing building them there so little hint I know it'll work and you won't have to use an amp with a with a CB radio God bless the Republic We shall prevail, ladies and gentlemen. The Empire is on the run. But we are on the march 4th day and night. Who, Don, Jeff Bennett coming to next? Your number for night, ladies and gentlemen, please. That number is 2317968458.
